এবং আমি আদমকে হুকুম করলাম যে, তুমি ও তোমার স্ত্রী জান্নাতে বসবাস করতে থাক এবং ওখানে যা চাও, যেখান থেকে চাও, পরিতৃপ্তিসহ খেতে থাক, কিন্তু এ গাছের নিকটবর্তী হয়ো না। অন্যথায় তোমরা যালিমদের অন্তর্ভূক্ত হয়ে পড়বে।
We said: "O Adam! dwell thou and thy wife in the Garden; and eat of the bountiful things therein as (where and when) ye will; but approach not this tree, or ye run into harm and transgression." |

আর তোমরা সে গ্রন্থের প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন কর, যা আমি অবতীর্ণ করেছি সত্যবক্তা হিসেবে তোমাদের কাছে। বস্তুতঃ তোমরা তার প্রাথমিক অস্বীকারকারী হয়ো না আর আমার আয়াতের অল্প মূল্য দিও না। এবং আমার (আযাব) থেকে বাঁচ।
And believe in what I reveal, confirming the revelation which is with you, and be not the first to reject Faith therein, nor sell My Signs for a small price; and fear Me, and Me alone. |

তারা ঐ শাস্ত্রের অনুসরণ করল, যা সুলায়মানের রাজত্ব কালে শয়তানরা আবৃত্তি করত। সুলায়মান কুফর করেনি; শয়তানরাই কুফর করেছিল। তারা মানুষকে জাদুবিদ্যা এবং বাবেল শহরে হারুত ও মারুত দুই ফেরেশতার প্রতি যা অবতীর্ণ হয়েছিল, তা শিক্ষা দিত। তারা উভয়ই একথা না বলে কাউকে শিক্ষা দিত না যে, আমরা পরীক্ষার জন্য; কাজেই তুমি কাফের হয়ো না। অতঃপর তারা তাদের কাছ থেকে এমন জাদু শিখত, যদ্দ্বারা স্বামী ও স্ত্রীর মধ্যে বিচ্ছেদ ঘটে। তারা আল্লাহর আদেশ ছাড়া তদ্দ্বারা কারও অনিষ্ট করতে পারত না। যা তাদের ক্ষতি করে এবং উপকার না করে, তারা তাই শিখে। তারা ভালরূপে জানে যে, যে কেউ জাদু অবলম্বন করে, তার জন্য পরকালে কোন অংশ নেই। যার বিনিময়ে তারা আত্নবিক্রয় করেছে, তা খুবই মন্দ যদি তারা জানত।
They followed what the evil ones gave out (falsely) against the power of Solomon: the blasphemers Were, not Solomon, but the evil ones, teaching men Magic, and such things as came down at babylon to the angels Harut and Marut. But neither of these taught anyone (Such things) without saying: "We are only for trial; so do not blaspheme." They learned from them the means to sow discord between man and wife. But they could not thus harm anyone except by Allah's permission. And they learned what harmed them, not what profited them. And they knew that the buyers of (magic) would have no share in the happiness of the Hereafter. And vile was the price for which they did sell their souls, if they but knew! |

বাস্তব সত্য সেটাই যা তোমার পালনকর্তা বলেন। কাজেই তুমি সন্দিহান হয়ো না।
The Truth is from thy Lord; so be not at all in doubt. |
(আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ১৪৭) |

আর তোমরা যেখান থেকেই বেরিয়ে আস এবং যেখানেই অবস্থান কর, সেদিকেই মুখ ফেরাও, যাতে করে মানুষের জন্য তোমাদের সাথে ঝগড়া করার অবকাশ না থাকে। অবশ্য যারা অবিবেচক, তাদের কথা আলাদা। কাজেই তাদের আপত্তিতে ভীত হয়ো না। আমাকেই ভয় কর। যাতে আমি তোমাদের জন্যে আমার অনুগ্রহ সমূহ পূর্ণ করে দেই এবং তাতে যেন তোমরা সরলপথ প্রাপ্ত হও।
So from whencesoever Thou startest forth, turn Thy face in the direction of the sacred Mosque; and wheresoever ye are, Turn your face thither: that there be no ground of dispute against you among the people, except those of them that are bent on wickedness; so fear them not, but fear Me; and that I may complete My favours on you, and ye May (consent to) be guided; |

সুতরাং তোমরা আমাকে স্মরণ কর, আমিও তোমাদের স্মরণ রাখবো এবং আমার কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ কর; অকৃতজ্ঞ হয়ো না।
Then do ye remember Me; I will remember you. Be grateful to Me, and reject not Faith. |

আর তোমরা মুশরেক নারীদেরকে বিয়ে করোনা, যতক্ষণ না তারা ঈমান গ্রহণ করে। অবশ্য মুসলমান ক্রীতদাসী মুশরেক নারী অপেক্ষা উত্তম, যদিও তাদেরকে তোমাদের কাছে ভালো লাগে। এবং তোমরা (নারীরা) কোন মুশরেকের সঙ্গে বিবাহ বন্ধনে আবদ্ধ হয়ো না, যে পর্যন্ত সে ঈমান না আনে। একজন মুসলমান ক্রীতদাসও একজন মুশরেকের তুলনায় অনেক ভাল, যদিও তোমরা তাদের দেখে মোহিত হও। তারা দোযখের দিকে আহ্বান করে, আর আল্লাহ নিজের হুকুমের মাধ্যমে আহ্বান করেন জান্নাত ও ক্ষমার দিকে। আর তিনি মানুষকে নিজের নির্দেশ বাতলে দেন যাতে তারা উপদেশ গ্রহণ করে।
Do not marry unbelieving women (idolaters), until they believe: A slave woman who believes is better than an unbelieving woman, even though she allures you. Nor marry (your girls) to unbelievers until they believe: A man slave who believes is better than an unbeliever, even though he allures you. Unbelievers do (but) beckon you to the Fire. But Allah beckons by His Grace to the Garden (of bliss) and forgiveness, and makes His Signs clear to mankind: That they may celebrate His praise. |

আর যদি মোহর সাব্যস্ত করার পর স্পর্শ করার পূর্বে তালাক দিয়ে দাও, তাহলে যে, মোহর সাব্যস্ত করা হয়েছে তার অর্ধেক দিয়ে দিতে হবে। অবশ্য যদি নারীরা ক্ষমা করে দেয় কিংবা বিয়ের বন্ধন যার অধিকারে সে (অর্থাৎ, স্বামী) যদি ক্ষমা করে দেয় তবে তা স্বতন্ত্র কথা। আর তোমরা পুরুষরা যদি ক্ষমা কর, তবে তা হবে পরহেযগারীর নিকটবর্তী। আর পারস্পরিক সহানুভূতির কথা বিস্মৃত হয়ো না। নিশ্চয় তোমরা যা কিছু কর আল্লাহ সেসবই অত্যন্ত ভাল করে দেখেন।
And if ye divorce them before consummation, but after the fixation of a dower for them, then the half of the dower (Is due to them), unless they remit it or (the man's half) is remitted by him in whose hands is the marriage tie; and the remission (of the man's half) is the nearest to righteousness. And do not forget Liberality between yourselves. For Allah sees well all that ye do. |

যা তোমার পালকর্তা বলেন তাই হচ্ছে যথার্থ সত্য। কাজেই তোমরা সংশয়বাদী হয়ো না।
The Truth (comes) from Allah alone; so be not of those who doubt. |
(আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ৬০) |

আর তোমরা সকলে আল্লাহর রজ্জুকে সুদৃঢ় হস্তে ধারণ কর; পরস্পর বিচ্ছিন্ন হয়ো না। আর তোমরা সে নেয়ামতের কথা স্মরণ কর, যা আল্লাহ তোমাদিগকে দান করেছেন। তোমরা পরস্পর শত্রু ছিলে। অতঃপর আল্লাহ তোমাদের মনে সম্প্রীতি দান করেছেন। ফলে, এখন তোমরা তাঁর অনুগ্রহের কারণে পরস্পর ভাই ভাই হয়েছ। তোমরা এক অগ্নিকুন্ডের পাড়ে অবস্থান করছিলে। অতঃপর তা থেকে তিনি তোমাদেরকে মুক্তি দিয়েছেন। এভাবেই আল্লাহ নিজের নিদর্শনসমুহ প্রকাশ করেন, যাতে তোমরা হেদায়েত প্রাপ্ত হতে পার।
And hold fast, all together, by the rope which Allah (stretches out for you), and be not divided among yourselves; and remember with gratitude Allah's favour on you; for ye were enemies and He joined your hearts in love, so that by His Grace, ye became brethren; and ye were on the brink of the pit of Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus doth Allah make His Signs clear to you: That ye may be guided. |

আর তাদের মত হয়ো না, যারা বিচ্ছিন্ন হয়ে গেছে এবং নিদর্শন সমূহ আসার পরও বিরোধিতা করতে শুরু করেছে-তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে ভয়ঙ্কর আযাব।
Be not like those who are divided amongst themselves and fall into disputations after receiving Clear Signs: For them is a dreadful penalty,- |
(আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১০৫) |
| 12 |
আর তোমরা নিরাশ হয়ো না এবং দুঃখ করো না। যদি তোমরা মুমিন হও তবে, তোমরাই জয়ী হবে।
So lose not heart, nor fall into despair: For ye must gain mastery if ye are true in Faith. |
(আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১৩৯) |
| 13 |
হে ঈমাণদারগণ! তোমরা তাদের মত হয়ো না, যারা কাফের হয়েছে এবং নিজেদের ভাই বন্ধুরা যখন কোন অভিযানে বের হয় কিংবা জেহাদে যায়, তখন তাদের সম্পর্কে বলে, তারা যদি আমাদের সাথে থাকতো, তাহলে মরতোও না আহতও হতো না। যাতে তারা এ ধারণা সৃষ্টির মাধ্যমে সংশ্লিষ্টদের মনে অনুতাপ সৃষ্টি করতে পারে। অথচ আল্লাহই জীবন দান করেন এবং মৃত্যু দেন। তোমাদের সমস্ত কাজই, তোমরা যা কিছুই কর না কেন, আল্লাহ সবকিছুৃই দেখেন।
O ye who believe! Be not like the Unbelievers, who say of their brethren, when they are travelling through the Earth or engaged in fighting: "If they had stayed with us, they would not have died, or been slain." This that Allah may make it a cause of sighs and regrets in their hearts. It is Allah that gives Life and Death, and Allah sees well all that ye do. |
(আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১৫৬) |
| 14 |
হে ঈমানদারগণ, আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূলের নির্দেশ মান্য কর এবং শোনার পর তা থেকে বিমুখ হয়ো না।
O ye who believe! Obey Allah and His Messenger, and turn not away from him when ye hear (him speak). |
(আল-আনফাল:
আয়াতঃ ২০) |
| 15 |
আর তাদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হয়ো না, যারা বলে যে, আমরা শুনেছি, অথচ তারা শোনেনা।
Nor be like those who say, "We hear," but listen not: |
(আল-আনফাল:
আয়াতঃ ২১) |
| 16 |
যদি তোমরা তাকে (রসূলকে) সাহায্য না কর, তবে মনে রেখো, আল্লাহ তার সাহায্য করেছিলেন, যখন তাকে কাফেররা বহিষ্কার করেছিল, তিনি ছিলেন দু’জনের একজন, যখন তারা গুহার মধ্যে ছিলেন। তখন তিনি আপন সঙ্গীকে বললেন বিষন্ন হয়ো না, আল্লাহ আমাদের সাথে আছেন। অতঃপর আল্লাহ তার প্রতি স্বীয় সান্তনা নাযিল করলেন এবং তাঁর সাহায্যে এমন বাহিনী পাঠালেন, যা তোমরা দেখনি। বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহ কাফেরদের মাথা নীচু করে দিলেন আর আল্লাহর কথাই সদা সমুন্নত এবং আল্লাহ পরাক্রমশালী, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
If ye help not (your leader), (it is no matter): for Allah did indeed help him, when the Unbelievers drove him out: he had no more than one companion; they two were in the cave, and he said to his companion, "Have no fear, for Allah is with us": then Allah sent down His peace upon him, and strengthened him with forces which ye saw not, and humbled to the depths the word of the Unbelievers. But the word of Allah is exalted to the heights: for Allah is Exalted in might, Wise. |

আয়াতঃ ৪০) |
| 17 |
পেছনে থেকে যাওয়া লোকেরা আল্লাহর রসূল থেকে বিচ্ছিন্ন হয়ে বসে থাকতে পেরে আনন্দ লাভ করেছে; আর জান ও মালের দ্বারা আল্লাহর রাহে জেহাদ করতে অপছন্দ করেছে এবং বলেছে, এই গরমের মধ্যে অভিযানে বের হয়ো না। বলে দাও, উত্তাপে জাহান্নামের আগুন প্রচন্ডতম। যদি তাদের বিবেচনা শক্তি থাকত।
Those who were left behind (in the Tabuk expedition) rejoiced in their inaction behind the back of the Messenger of Allah: they hated to strive and fight, with their goods and their persons, in the cause of Allah: they said, "Go not forth in the heat." Say, "The fire of Hell is fiercer in heat." If only they could understand! |

আয়াতঃ ৮১) |
| 18 |
আর বিস্মিত হয়ো না তাদের ধন সম্পদ ও সন্তান-সন্তুতির দরুন। আল্লাহ তো এই চান যে, এ সবের কারণে তাদেরকে আযাবের ভেতরে রাখবেন দুনিয়ায় এবং তাদের প্রাণ নির্গত হওয়া পর্যন্ত যেন তারা কাফেরই থাকে।
Nor let their wealth nor their (following in) sons dazzle thee: Allah's plan is to punish them with these things in this world, and that their souls may perish in their (very) denial of Allah. |
(আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৮৫) |
| 19 |
সুতরাং তুমি যদি সে বস্তু সম্পর্কে কোন সন্দেহের সম্মুখীন হয়ে থাক যা তোমার প্রতি আমি নাযিল করেছি, তবে তাদেরকে জিজ্ঞেস করো যারা তোমার পূর্ব থেকে কিতাব পাঠ করছে। এতে কোন সন্দেহ নেই যে, তোমার পরওয়ারদেগারের নিকট থেকে তোমার নিকট সত্য বিষয় এসেছে। কাজেই তুমি কস্মিনকালেও সন্দেহকারী হয়ো না।
If thou wert in doubt as to what We have revealed unto thee, then ask those who have been reading the Book from before thee: the Truth hath indeed come to thee from thy Lord: so be in no wise of those in doubt. |
(ইউনুস:
আয়াতঃ ৯৪) |
| 20 |
এবং তাদের অন্তর্ভুক্তও হয়ো না যারা মিথ্যা প্রতিপন্ন করেছে আল্লাহর বাণীকে। তাহলে তুমিও অকল্যাণে পতিত হয়ে যাবে।
Nor be of those who reject the signs of Allah, or thou shalt be of those who perish. |
(ইউনুস:
আয়াতঃ ৯৫) |
| 21 |
আর হে আমার কওম! তোমাদের পালন কর্তার কাছে তোমরা ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা কর, অতঃপর তাঁরই প্রতি মনোনিবেশ কর; তিনি আসমান থেকে তোমাদের উপর বৃষ্টি ধারা প্রেরণ করবেন এবং তোমাদের শক্তির উপর শক্তি বৃদ্ধি করবেন, তোমরা কিন্তু অপরাধীদের মত বিমুখ হয়ো না।
"And O my people! Ask forgiveness of your Lord, and turn to Him (in repentance): He will send you the skies pouring abundant rain, and add strength to your strength: so turn ye not back in sin!" |
(হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ৫২) |
| 22 |
বৎসগণ! যাও, ইউসুফ ও তার ভাইকে তালাশ কর এবং আল্লাহর রহমত থেকে নিরাশ হয়ো না। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহর রহমত থেকে কাফের সম্প্রদায়, ব্যতীত অন্য কেউ নিরাশ হয় না।
"O my sons! go ye and enquire about Joseph and his brother, and never give up hope of Allah's Soothing Mercy: truly no one despairs of Allah's Soothing Mercy, except those who have no faith." |
(ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৮৭) |
| 23 |
তোমরা ঐ মহিলার মত হয়ো না, যে পরিশ্রমের পর কাটা সূতা টুকরো টুকরো করে ছিড়ে ফেলে, তোমরা নিজেদের কসমসমূহকে পারস্পরিক প্রবঞ্চনার বাহানা রূপে গ্রহণ কর এজন্যে যে, অন্য দল অপেক্ষা এক দল অধিক ক্ষমতাবান হয়ে যায়। এতদ্বারা তো আল্লাহ শুধু তোমাদের পরীক্ষা করেন। আল্লাহ অবশ্যই কিয়ামতের দিন প্রকাশ করে দেবেন, যে বিষয়ে তোমরা কলহ করতে।
And be not like a woman who breaks into untwisted strands the yarn which she has spun, after it has become strong. Nor take your oaths to practise deception between yourselves, lest one party should be more numerous than another: for Allah will test you by this; and on the Day of Judgment He will certainly make clear to you (the truth of) that wherein ye disagree. |

আয়াতঃ ৯২) |
| 24 |
তুমি একেবারে ব্যয়-কুষ্ঠ হয়োনা এবং একেবারে মুক্ত হস্তও হয়ো না। তাহলে তুমি তিরস্কৃতি, নিঃস্ব হয়ে বসে থাকবে।
Make not thy hand tied (like a niggard's) to thy neck, nor stretch it forth to its utmost reach, so that thou become blameworthy and destitute. |
(বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ২৯) |
| 25 |
মাপ পূর্ণ কর এবং যারা পরিমাপে কম দেয়, তাদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হয়ো না।
"Give just measure, and cause no loss (to others by fraud). |
(আশ-শো'আরা:
আয়াতঃ ১৮১) |
| 26 |
আল্লাহ তোমাকে যা দান করেছেন, তদ্বারা পরকালের গৃহ অনুসন্ধান কর, এবং ইহকাল থেকে তোমার অংশ ভূলে যেয়ো না। তুমি অনুগ্রহ কর, যেমন আল্লাহ তোমার প্রতি অনুগ্রহ করেছেন এবং পৃথিবীতে অনর্থ সৃষ্টি করতে প্রয়াসী হয়ো না। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ অনর্থ সৃষ্টিকারীদেরকে পছন্দ করেন না।
"But seek, with the (wealth) which Allah has bestowed on thee, the Home of the Hereafter, nor forget thy portion in this world: but do thou good, as Allah has been good to thee, and seek not (occasions for) mischief in the land: for Allah loves not those who do mischief." |
(আল কাসাস:
আয়াতঃ ৭৭) |
| 27 |
সবাই তাঁর অভিমুখী হও এবং ভয় কর, নামায কায়েম কর এবং মুশরিকদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হয়ো না।
Turn ye back in repentance to Him, and fear Him: establish regular prayers, and be not ye among those who join gods with Allah,- |

| 28 |
হে মুমিনগণ! মূসাকে যারা কষ্ট দিয়েছে, তোমরা তাদের মত হয়ো না। তারা যা বলেছিল, আল্লাহ তা থেকে তাঁকে নির্দোষ প্রমাণ করেছিলেন। তিনি আল্লাহর কাছে ছিলেন মর্যাদাবান।
O ye who believe! Be ye not like those who vexed and insulted Moses, but Allah cleared him of the (calumnies) they had uttered: and he was honourable in Allah's sight. |
(আল আহযাব:
আয়াতঃ ৬৯) |
| 29 |
বলুন, হে আমার বান্দাগণ যারা নিজেদের উপর যুলুম করেছ তোমরা আল্লাহর রহমত থেকে নিরাশ হয়ো না। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সমস্ত গোনাহ মাফ করেন। তিনি ক্ষমাশীল, পরম দয়ালু।
Say: "O my Servants who have transgressed against their souls! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah: for Allah forgives all sins: for He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. |
(আল-যুমার:
আয়াতঃ ৫৩) |
| 30 |
অতএব, তোমরা হীনবল হয়ো না এবং সন্ধির আহবান জানিও না, তোমরাই হবে প্রবল। আল্লাহই তোমাদের সাথে আছেন। তিনি কখনও তোমাদের কর্ম হ্রাস করবেন না।
Be not weary and faint-hearted, crying for peace, when ye should be uppermost: for Allah is with you, and will never put you in loss for your (good) deeds. |
(মুহাম্মদ:
আয়াতঃ ৩৫) |
| 31 |
মুমিনগণ! তোমরা আল্লাহ ও রসূলের সামনে অগ্রণী হয়ো না এবং আল্লাহকে ভয় কর। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সবকিছু শুনেন ও জানেন।
O Ye who believe! Put not yourselves forward before Allah and His Messenger; but fear Allah: for Allah is He Who hears and knows all things. |
(আল হুজরাত:
আয়াতঃ ১) |
| 32 |
তোমরা তাদের মত হয়ো না, যারা আল্লাহ তা’আলাকে ভুলে গেছে। ফলে আল্লাহ তা’আলা তাদেরকে আত্ন বিস্মৃত করে দিয়েছেন। তারাই অবাধ্য।
And be ye not like those who forgot Allah; and He made them forget their own souls! Such are the rebellious transgressors! |
(আল হাশর:
আয়াতঃ ১৯) |
| 33 |
কখনও বিভ্রান্ত হয়ো না; বরং তোমরা দান-প্রতিদানকে মিথ্যা মনে কর।
Nay! But ye do reject Right and Judgment! |
(আল ইনফিতার:
