আমি তো কেবল এই নগরীর প্রভুর এবাদত করতে আদিষ্ট হয়েছি, যিনি একে সম্মানিত করেছেন। এবং সব কিছু তাঁরই। আমি আরও আদিষ্ট হয়েছি যেন আমি আজ্ঞাবহদের একজন হই।
For me, I have been commanded to serve the Lord of this city, Him Who has sanctified it and to Whom (belong) all things: and I am commanded to be of those who bow in Islam to Allah's Will,- |

আরও আদিষ্ট হয়েছি, সর্ব প্রথম নির্দেশ পালনকারী হওয়ার জন্যে।
"And I am commanded to be the first of those who bow to Allah in Islam." |
(আল-যুমার:
আয়াতঃ ১২) |

সে বলল, এ জ্ঞান তো আল্লাহর কাছেই রয়েছে। আমি যে বিষয়সহ প্রেরিত হয়েছি, তা তোমাদের কাছে পৌঁছাই। কিন্তু আমি দেখছি তোমরা এক মুর্খ সম্প্রদায়।
He said: "The Knowledge (of when it will come) is only with Allah: I proclaim to you the mission on which I have been sent: But I see that ye are a people in ignorance!".. |

তারা বললঃ আমরা এক অপরাধী সম্প্রদায়ের প্রতি প্রেরিত হয়েছি,
They said, "We have been sent to a people (deep) in sin;- |
