আর হে নবী (সাঃ), যারা ঈমান এনেছে এবং সৎকাজসমূহ করেছে, আপনি তাদেরকে এমন বেহেশতের সুসংবাদ দিন, যার পাদদেশে নহরসমূহ প্রবাহমান থাকবে। যখনই তারা খাবার হিসেবে কোন ফল প্রাপ্ত হবে, তখনই তারা বলবে, এতো অবিকল সে ফলই যা আমরা ইতিপূর্বেও লাভ করেছিলাম। বস্তুতঃ তাদেরকে একই প্রকৃতির ফল প্রদান করা হবে। এবং সেখানে তাদের জন্য শুদ্ধচারিনী রমণীকূল থাকবে। আর সেখানে তারা অনন্তকাল অবস্থান করবে।
But give glad tidings to those who believe and work righteousness, that their portion is Gardens, beneath which rivers flow. Every time they are fed with fruits therefrom, they say: "Why, this is what we were fed with before," for they are given things in similitude; and they have therein companions pure (and holy); and they abide therein (for ever). |

আর তোমরা সে গ্রন্থের প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন কর, যা আমি অবতীর্ণ করেছি সত্যবক্তা হিসেবে তোমাদের কাছে। বস্তুতঃ তোমরা তার প্রাথমিক অস্বীকারকারী হয়ো না আর আমার আয়াতের অল্প মূল্য দিও না। এবং আমার (আযাব) থেকে বাঁচ।
And believe in what I reveal, confirming the revelation which is with you, and be not the first to reject Faith therein, nor sell My Signs for a small price; and fear Me, and Me alone. |

আর বণী ইসরাঈলদের জন্যে রসূল হিসেবে তাকে মনোনীত করবেন। তিনি বললেন নিশ্চয়ই আমি তোমাদের নিকট তোমাদের পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে এসেছি নিদর্শনসমূহ নিয়ে। আমি তোমাদের জন্য মাটির দ্বারা পাখীর আকৃতি তৈরী করে দেই। তারপর তাতে যখন ফুৎকার প্রদান করি, তখন তা উড়ন্ত পাখীতে পরিণত হয়ে যায় আল্লাহর হুকুমে। আর আমি সুস্থ করে তুলি জন্মান্ধকে এবং শ্বেত কুষ্ঠ রোগীকে। আর আমি জীবিত করে দেই মৃতকে আল্লাহর হুকুমে। আর আমি তোমাদেরকে বলে দেই যা তোমরা খেয়ে আস এবং যা তোমরা ঘরে রেখে আস। এতে প্রকৃষ্ট নিদর্শন রয়েছে, যদি তোমরা বিশ্বাসী হও।
"And (appoint him) a messenger to the Children of Israel, (with this message): "'I have come to you, with a Sign from your Lord, in that I make for you out of clay, as it were, the figure of a bird, and breathe into it, and it becomes a bird by Allah's leave: And I heal those born blind, and the lepers, and I quicken the dead, by Allah's leave; and I declare to you what ye eat, and what ye store in your houses. Surely therein is a Sign for you if ye did believe; |

আর তোমাদের নারীদের মধ্যে যারা ব্যভিচারিণী তাদের বিরুদ্ধে তোমাদের মধ্য থেকে চার জন পুরুষকে সাক্ষী হিসেবে তলব কর। অতঃপর যদি তারা সাক্ষ্য প্রদান করে তবে সংশ্লিষ্টদেরকে গৃহে আবদ্ধ রাখ, যে পর্যন্ত মৃত্যু তাদেরকে তুলে না নেয় অথবা আল্লাহ তাদের জন্য অন্য কোন পথ নির্দেশ না করেন।
If any of your women are guilty of lewdness, Take the evidence of four (Reliable) witnesses from amongst you against them; and if they testify, confine them to houses until death do claim them, or Allah ordain for them some (other) way. |

তোমাদের জন্যে হারাম করা হয়েছে মৃত জীব, রক্ত, শুকরের মাংস, যেসব জন্তু আল্লাহ ছাড়া অন্যের নামে উৎসর্গকৃত হয়, যা কন্ঠরোধে মারা যায়, যা আঘাত লেগে মারা যায়, যা উচ্চ স্থান থেকে পতনের ফলে মারা যা, যা শিং এর আঘাতে মারা যায় এবং যাকে হিংস্র জন্তু ভক্ষণ করেছে, কিন্তু যাকে তোমরা যবেহ করেছ। যে জন্তু যজ্ঞবেদীতে যবেহ করা হয় এবং যা ভাগ্য নির্ধারক শর দ্বারা বন্টন করা হয়। এসব গোনাহর কাজ। আজ কাফেররা তোমাদের দ্বীন থেকে নিরাশ হয়ে গেছে। অতএব তাদেরকে ভয় করো না বরং আমাকে ভয় কর। আজ আমি তোমাদের জন্যে তোমাদের দ্বীনকে পূর্নাঙ্গ করে দিলাম, তোমাদের প্রতি আমার অবদান সম্পূর্ণ করে দিলাম এবং ইসলামকে তোমাদের জন্যে দ্বীন হিসেবে পছন্দ করলাম। অতএব যে ব্যাক্তি তীব্র ক্ষুধায় কাতর হয়ে পড়ে; কিন্তু কোন গোনাহর প্রতি প্রবণতা না থাকে, তবে নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ তা’আলা ক্ষমাশীল।
Forbidden to you (for food) are: dead meat, blood, the flesh of swine, and that on which hath been invoked the name of other than Allah; that which hath been killed by strangling, or by a violent blow, or by a headlong fall, or by being gored to death; that which hath been (partly) eaten by a wild animal; unless ye are able to slaughter it (in due form); that which is sacrificed on stone (altars); (forbidden) also is the division (of meat) by raffling with arrows: that is impiety. This day have those who reject faith given up all hope of your religion: yet fear them not but fear Me. This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion. But if any is forced by hunger, with no inclination to transgression, Allah is indeed Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. |

যে পুরুষ চুরি করে এবং যে নারী চুরি করে তাদের হাত কেটে দাও তাদের কৃতকর্মের সাজা হিসেবে। আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে হুশিয়ারী। আল্লাহ পরাক্রান্ত, জ্ঞানময়।
As to the thief, Male or female, cut off his or her hands: a punishment by way of example, from Allah, for their crime: and Allah is Exalted in power. |

মুমিনগণ, তোমরা এহরাম অবস্থায় শিকার বধ করো না। তোমাদের মধ্যে যে জেনেশুনে শিকার বধ করবে, তার উপর বিনিময় ওয়াজেব হবে, যা সমান হবে ঐ জন্তুর, যাকে সে বধ করেছে। দু’জন নির্ভরযোগ্য ব্যক্তি এর ফয়সালা করবে-বিনিময়ের জন্তুটি উৎসর্গ হিসেবে কাবায় পৌছাতে হবে। অথবা তার উপর কাফফারা ওয়াজেব-কয়েকজন দরিদ্রকে খাওয়ানো অথবা তার সমপরিমাণ রোযা রাখতে যাতে সে স্বীয় কৃতকর্মের প্রতিফল আস্বাদন করে। যা হয়ে গেছে, তা আল্লাহ মাফ করেছেন। যে পুনরায় এ কান্ড করবে, আল্লাহ তার কাছ থেকে প্রতিশোধ নিবেন। আল্লাহ পরাক্রান্ত, প্রতিশোধ গ্রহণে সক্ষম।
O ye who believe! Kill not game while in the sacred precincts or in pilgrim garb. If any of you doth so intentionally, the compensation is an offering, brought to the Ka'ba, of a domestic animal equivalent to the one he killed, as adjudged by two just men among you; or by way of atonement, the feeding of the indigent; or its equivalent in fasts: that he may taste of the penalty of his deed. Allah forgives what is past: for repetition Allah will exact from him the penalty. For Allah is Exalted, and Lord of Retribution. |

তিনি প্রভাত রশ্মির উন্মেষক। তিনি রাত্রিকে আরামদায়ক করেছেন এবং সূর্য ও চন্দ্রকে হিসেবের জন্য রেখেছেন। এটি পরাক্রান্ত, মহাজ্ঞানীর নির্ধারণ।
He it is that cleaveth the day-break (from the dark): He makes the night for rest and tranquillity, and the sun and moon for the reckoning (of time): Such is the judgment and ordering of (Him), the Exalted in Power, the Omniscient. |

আয়াতঃ ৯৬) |

বলুনঃ আমার ও তোমাদের মধ্যে সত্য প্রতিষ্ঠাকারী হিসেবে আল্লাহই যথেষ্ট। তিনি তো স্বীয় বান্দাদের বিষয়ে খবর রাখেন ও দেখেন।
Say: "Enough is Allah for a witness between me and you: for He is well acquainted with His servants, and He sees (all things). |
(বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ৯৬) |

যারা সৎপথে চলে আল্লাহ তাদের পথপ্রাপ্তি বৃদ্ধি করেন এবং স্থায়ী সৎকর্মসমূহ তোমার পালনকর্তার কাছে সওয়াবের দিক দিয়ে শ্রেষ্ঠ এবং প্রতিদান হিসেবেও শ্রেষ্ট।
"And Allah doth advance in guidance those who seek guidance: and the things that endure, Good Deeds, are best in the sight of thy Lord, as rewards, and best in respect of (their) eventual return." |
(মারইয়াম:

বসবাস ও অবস্থানস্থল হিসেবে তা কত নিকৃষ্ট জায়গা।
"Evil indeed is it as an abode, and as a place to rest in"; |
(আল-ফুরকান:
আয়াতঃ ৬৬) |

তথায় তারা চিরকাল বসবাস করবে। অবস্থানস্থল ও বাসস্থান হিসেবে তা কত উত্তম।
Dwelling therein;- how beautiful an abode and place of rest! |
(আল-ফুরকান:

বালিকাদ্বয়ের একজন বলল পিতাঃ তাকে চাকর নিযুক্ত করুন। কেননা, আপনার চাকর হিসেবে সে-ই উত্তম হবে, যে শক্তিশালী ও বিশ্বস্ত।
Said one of the (damsels): "O my (dear) father! engage him on wages: truly the best of men for thee to employ is the (man) who is strong and trusty".... |

| 14 |
আর তাদের উপর ইবলীস তার অনুমান সত্য হিসেবে প্রতিষ্ঠিত করল। ফলে তাদের মধ্যে মুমিনদের একটি দল ব্যতীত সকলেই তার পথ অনুসরণ করল।
And on them did Satan prove true his idea, and they followed him, all but a party that believed. |

এটি একটি বরকতময় কিতাব, যা আমি আপনার প্রতি বরকত হিসেবে অবতীর্ণ করেছি, যাতে মানুষ এর আয়াতসূহ লক্ষ্য করে এবং বুদ্ধিমানগণ যেন তা অনুধাবন করে।
(Here is) a Book which We have sent down unto thee, full of blessings, that they may mediate on its Signs, and that men of understanding may receive admonition. |
(ছোয়াদ:
আয়াতঃ ২৯) |

যদি গোনাহগারদের কাছে পৃথিবীর সবকিছু থাকে এবং তার সাথে সমপরিমাণ আরও থাকে, তবে অবশ্যই তারা কেয়ামতের দিন সে সবকিছুই নিস্কৃতি পাওয়ার জন্যে মুক্তিপন হিসেবে দিয়ে দেবে। অথচ তারা দেখতে পাবে, আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে এমন শাস্তি, যা তারা কল্পনাও করত না।
Even if the wrong-doers had all that there is on earth, and as much more, (in vain) would they offer it for ransom from the pain of the Penalty on the Day of Judgment: but something will confront them from Allah, which they could never have counted upon! |

আপনার পালনকর্তা জানেন, আপনি এবাদতের জন্যে দন্ডায়মান হন রাত্রির প্রায় দু’তৃতীয়াংশ, অর্ধাংশ ও তৃতীয়াংশ এবং আপনার সঙ্গীদের একটি দলও দন্ডায়মান হয়। আল্লাহ দিবা ও রাত্রি পরিমাপ করেন। তিনি জানেন, তোমরা এর পূর্ণ হিসাব রাখতে পার না। অতএব তিনি তোমাদের প্রতি ক্ষমা পরায়ন হয়েছেন। কাজেই কোরআনের যতটুকু তোমাদের জন্যে সহজ, ততটুকু আবৃত্তি কর। তিনি জানেন তোমাদের মধ্যে কেউ কেউ অসুস্থ হবে, কেউ কেউ আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ সন্ধানে দেশে-বিদেশে যাবে এবং কেউ কেউ আল্লাহর পথে জেহাদে লিপ্ত হবে। কাজেই কোরআনের যতটুকু তোমাদের জন্যে সহজ ততটুকু আবৃত্তি কর। তোমরা নামায কায়েম কর, যাকাত দাও এবং আল্লাহকে উত্তম ঋণ দাও। তোমরা নিজেদের জন্যে যা কিছু অগ্রে পাঠাবে, তা আল্লাহর কাছে উত্তম আকারে এবং পুরস্কার হিসেবে বর্ধিতরূপে পাবে। তোমরা আল্লাহর কাছে ক্ষমাপ্রার্থনা কর। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ ক্ষমাশীল, দয়ালু।
Thy Lord doth know that thou standest forth (to prayer) nigh two-thirds of the night, or half the night, or a third of the night, and so doth a party of those with thee. But Allah doth appoint night and day in due measure He knoweth that ye are unable to keep count thereof. So He hath turned to you (in mercy): read ye, therefore, of the Qur'an as much as may be easy for you. He knoweth that there may be (some) among you in ill-health; others travelling through the land, seeking of Allah's bounty; yet others fighting in Allah's Cause, read ye, therefore, as much of the Qur'an as may be easy (for you); and establish regular Prayer and give regular Charity; and loan to Allah a Beautiful Loan. And whatever good ye send forth for your souls ye shall find it in Allah's Presence,- yea, better and greater, in Reward and seek ye the Grace of Allah: for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. |
