আর হে নবী (সাঃ), যারা ঈমান এনেছে এবং সৎকাজসমূহ করেছে, আপনি তাদেরকে এমন বেহেশতের সুসংবাদ দিন, যার পাদদেশে নহরসমূহ প্রবাহমান থাকবে। যখনই তারা খাবার হিসেবে কোন ফল প্রাপ্ত হবে, তখনই তারা বলবে, এতো অবিকল সে ফলই যা আমরা ইতিপূর্বেও লাভ করেছিলাম। বস্তুতঃ তাদেরকে একই প্রকৃতির ফল প্রদান করা হবে। এবং সেখানে তাদের জন্য শুদ্ধচারিনী রমণীকূল থাকবে। আর সেখানে তারা অনন্তকাল অবস্থান করবে।
But give glad tidings to those who believe and work righteousness, that their portion is Gardens, beneath which rivers flow. Every time they are fed with fruits therefrom, they say: "Why, this is what we were fed with before," for they are given things in similitude; and they have therein companions pure (and holy); and they abide therein (for ever). |

আল্লাহ পাক নিঃসন্দেহে মশা বা তদুর্ধ্ব বস্তু দ্বারা উপমা পেশ করতে লজ্জাবোধ করেন না। বস্তুতঃ যারা মুমিন তারা নিশ্চিতভাবে বিশ্বাস করে যে, তাদের পালনকর্তা কর্তৃক উপস্থাপিত এ উপমা সম্পূর্ণ নির্ভূল ও সঠিক। আর যারা কাফের তারা বলে, এরূপ উপমা উপস্থাপনে আল্লাহর মতলবই বা কি ছিল। এ দ্বারা আল্লাহ তা’আলা অনেককে বিপথগামী করেন, আবার অনেককে সঠিক পথও প্রদর্শন করেন। তিনি অনুরূপ উপমা দ্বারা অসৎ ব্যক্তিবর্গ ভিন্ন কাকেও বিপথগামী করেন না।
Allah disdains not to use the similitude of things, lowest as well as highest. Those who believe know that it is truth from their Lord; but those who reject Faith say: "What means Allah by this similitude?" By it He causes many to stray, and many He leads into the right path; but He causes not to stray, except those who forsake (the path),- |

তোমরা কি মানুষকে সৎকর্মের নির্দেশ দাও এবং নিজেরা নিজেদেরকে ভূলে যাও, অথচ তোমরা কিতাব পাঠ কর? তবুও কি তোমরা চিন্তা কর না?
Do ye enjoin right conduct on the people, and forget (To practise it) yourselves, and yet ye study the Scripture? Will ye not understand? |

আর যখন আমি বললাম, তোমরা প্রবেশ কর এ নগরীতে এবং এতে যেখানে খুশী খেয়ে স্বাচ্ছন্দ্যে বিচরণ করতে থাক এবং দরজার ভিতর দিয়ে প্রবেশ করার সময় সেজদা করে ঢুক, আর বলতে থাক-‘আমাদিগকে ক্ষমা করে দাও’-তাহলে আমি তোমাদের অপরাধ ক্ষমা করব এবং সৎ কর্মশীলদেরকে অতিরিক্ত দানও করব।
And remember We said: "Enter this town, and eat of the plenty therein as ye wish; but enter the gate with humility, in posture and in words, and We shall forgive you your faults and increase (the portion of) those who do good." |

নিঃসন্দেহে যারা মুসলমান হয়েছে এবং যারা ইহুদী, নাসারা ও সাবেঈন, (তাদের মধ্য থেকে) যারা ঈমান এনেছে আল্লাহর প্রতি ও কিয়ামত দিবসের প্রতি এবং সৎকাজ করেছে, তাদের জন্য রয়েছে তার সওয়াব তাদের পালনকর্তার কাছে। আর তাদের কোনই ভয়-ভীতি নেই, তারা দুঃখিতও হবে না।
Those who believe (in the Qur'an), and those who follow the Jewish (scriptures), and the Christians and the Sabians,- any who believe in Allah and the Last Day, and work righteousness, shall have their reward with their Lord; on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve. |

পক্ষান্তরে যারা ঈমান এনেছে এবং সৎকাজ করেছে, তারাই জান্নাতের অধিবাসী। তারা সেখানেই চিরকাল থাকবে।
But those who have faith and work righteousness, they are companions of the Garden: Therein shall they abide (For ever). |

যখন আমি বনী-ইসরাঈলের কাছ থেকে অঙ্গীকার নিলাম যে, তোমরা আল্লাহ ছাড়া কারও উপাসনা করবে না, পিতা-মাতা, আত্নীয়-স্বজন, এতীম ও দীন-দরিদ্রদের সাথে সদ্ব্যবহার করবে, মানুষকে সৎ কথাবার্তা বলবে, নামায প্রতিষ্ঠা করবে এবং যাকাত দেবে, তখন সামান্য কয়েকজন ছাড়া তোমরা মুখ ফিরিয়ে নিলে, তোমরাই অগ্রাহ্যকারী।
And remember We took a covenant from the Children of Israel (to this effect): Worship none but Allah; treat with kindness your parents and kindred, and orphans and those in need; speak fair to the people; be steadfast in prayer; and practise regular charity. Then did ye turn back, except a few among you, and ye backslide (even now). |

তোমরা নামায প্রতিষ্ঠা কর এবং যাকাত দাও। তোমরা নিজের জন্যে পূর্বে যে সৎকর্ম প্রেরণ করবে, তা আল্লাহর কাছে পাবে। তোমরা যা কিছু কর, নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ তা প্রত্যক্ষ করেন।
And be steadfast in prayer and regular in charity: And whatever good ye send forth for your souls before you, ye shall find it with Allah: for Allah sees Well all that ye do. |

হাঁ, যে ব্যক্তি নিজেকে আল্লাহর উদ্দেশ্যে সমর্পন করেছে এবং সে সৎকর্মশীলও বটে তার জন্য তার পালনকর্তার কাছে পুরস্কার বয়েছে। তাদের ভয় নেই এবং তারা চিন্তিতও হবে না।
Nay,-whoever submits His whole self to Allah and is a doer of good,- He will get his reward with his Lord; on such shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve. |

ইব্রাহীমের ধর্ম থেকে কে মুখ ফেরায়? কিন্তু সে ব্যক্তি, যে নিজেকে বোকা প্রতিপন্ন করে। নিশ্চয়ই আমি তাকে পৃথিবীতে মনোনীত করেছি এবং সে পরকালে সৎকর্মশীলদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত।
And who turns away from the religion of Abraham but such as debase their souls with folly? Him We chose and rendered pure in this world: And he will be in the Hereafter in the ranks of the Righteous. |

আর সবার জন্যই রয়েছে কেবলা একেক দিকে, যে দিকে সে মুখ করে (এবাদত করবে)। কাজেই সৎকাজে প্রতিযোগিতামূলকভাবে এগিয়ে যাও। যেখানেই তোমরা থাকবে, আল্লাহ অবশ্যই তোমাদেরকে সমবেত করবেন। নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ সর্ব বিষয়ে ক্ষমতাশীল।
To each is a goal to which Allah turns him; then strive together (as in a race) Towards all that is good. Wheresoever ye are, Allah will bring you Together. For Allah Hath power over all things. |

| 12 |
সৎকর্ম শুধু এই নয় যে, পূর্ব কিংবা পশ্চিমদিকে মুখ করবে, বরং বড় সৎকাজ হল এই যে, ঈমান আনবে আল্লাহর উপর কিয়ামত দিবসের উপর, ফেরেশতাদের উপর এবং সমস্ত নবী-রসূলগণের উপর, আর সম্পদ ব্যয় করবে তাঁরই মহব্বতে আত্নীয়-স্বজন, এতীম-মিসকীন, মুসাফির-ভিক্ষুক ও মুক্তিকামী ক্রীতদাসদের জন্যে। আর যারা নামায প্রতিষ্ঠা করে, যাকাত দান করে এবং যারা কৃত প্রতিজ্ঞা সম্পাদনকারী এবং অভাবে, রোগে-শোকে ও যুদ্ধের সময় ধৈর্য্য ধারণকারী তারাই হল সত্যাশ্রয়ী, আর তারাই পরহেযগার।
It is not righteousness that ye turn your faces Towards east or West; but it is righteousness- to believe in Allah and the Last Day, and the Angels, and the Book, and the Messengers; to spend of your substance, out of love for Him, for your kin, for orphans, for the needy, for the wayfarer, for those who ask, and for the ransom of slaves; to be steadfast in prayer, and practice regular charity; to fulfil the contracts which ye have made; and to be firm and patient, in pain (or suffering) and adversity, and throughout all periods of panic. Such are the people of truth, the Allah-fearing. |

গণনার কয়েকটি দিনের জন্য অতঃপর তোমাদের মধ্যে যে, অসুখ থাকবে অথবা সফরে থাকবে, তার পক্ষে অন্য সময়ে সে রোজা পূরণ করে নিতে হবে। আর এটি যাদের জন্য অত্যন্ত কষ্ট দায়ক হয়, তারা এর পরিবর্তে একজন মিসকীনকে খাদ্যদান করবে। যে ব্যক্তি খুশীর সাথে সৎকর্ম করে, তা তার জন্য কল্যাণ কর হয়। আর যদি রোজা রাখ, তবে তোমাদের জন্যে বিশেষ কল্যাণকর, যদি তোমরা তা বুঝতে পার।
(Fasting) for a fixed number of days; but if any of you is ill, or on a journey, the prescribed number (Should be made up) from days later. For those who can do it (With hardship), is a ransom, the feeding of one that is indigent. But he that will give more, of his own free will,- it is better for him. And it is better for you that ye fast, if ye only knew. |

আর আমার বান্দারা যখন তোমার কাছে জিজ্ঞেস করে আমার ব্যাপারে বস্তুতঃ আমি রয়েছি সন্নিকটে। যারা প্রার্থনা করে, তাদের প্রার্থনা কবুল করে নেই, যখন আমার কাছে প্রার্থনা করে। কাজেই আমার হুকুম মান্য করা এবং আমার প্রতি নিঃসংশয়ে বিশ্বাস করা তাদের একান্ত কর্তব্য। যাতে তারা সৎপথে আসতে পারে।
When My servants ask thee concerning Me, I am indeed close (to them): I listen to the prayer of every suppliant when he calleth on Me: Let them also, with a will, Listen to My call, and believe in Me: That they may walk in the right way. |

| 15 |
হজ্জ্বে কয়েকটি মাস আছে সুবিদিত। এসব মাসে যে লোক হজ্জ্বের পরিপূর্ণ নিয়ত করবে, তার পক্ষে স্ত্রীও সাথে নিরাভরণ হওয়া জায়েজ নয়। না অশোভন কোন কাজ করা, না ঝাগড়া-বিবাদ করা হজ্জ্বের সেই সময় জায়েজ নয়। আর তোমরা যাকিছু সৎকাজ কর, আল্লাহ তো জানেন। আর তোমরা পাথেয় সাথে নিয়ে নাও। নিঃসন্দেহে সর্বোত্তম পাথেয় হচ্ছে আল্লাহর ভয়। আর আমাকে ভয় করতে থাক, হে বুদ্ধিমানগন! তোমাদের উপর তোমাদের পালনকর্তার অনুগ্রহ অন্বেষণ করায় কোন পাপ নেই।
For Hajj are the months well known. If any one undertakes that duty therein, Let there be no obscenity, nor wickedness, nor wrangling in the Hajj. And whatever good ye do, (be sure) Allah knoweth it. And take a provision (With you) for the journey, but the best of provisions is right conduct. So fear Me, o ye that are wise. |

| 16 |
তোমার কাছে জিজ্ঞেস করে, কি তারা ব্যয় করবে? বলে দাও-যে বস্তুই তোমরা ব্যয় কর, তা হবে পিতা-মাতার জন্যে, আত্নীয়-আপনজনের জন্যে, এতীম-অনাথদের জন্যে, অসহায়দের জন্যে এবং মুসাফিরদের জন্যে। আর তোমরা যে কোন সৎকাজ করবে, নিঃসন্দেহে তা অত্যন্ত ভালভাবেই আল্লাহর জানা রয়েছে।
They ask thee what they should spend (In charity). Say: Whatever ye spend that is good, is for parents and kindred and orphans and those in want and for wayfarers. And whatever ye do that is good, -Allah knoweth it well. |
(আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ২১৫) |
| 17 |
স্ত্রীদেরকে স্পর্শ করার আগে এবং কোন মোহর সাব্যস্ত করার পূর্বেও যদি তালাক দিয়ে দাও, তবে তাতেও তোমাদের কোন পাপ নেই। তবে তাদেরকে কিছু খরচ দেবে। আর সামর্থ্যবানদের জন্য তাদের সামর্থ্য অনুযায়ী এবং কম সামর্থ্যবানদের জন্য তাদের সাধ্য অনুযায়ী। যে খরচ প্রচলিত রয়েছে তা সৎকর্মশীলদের উপর দায়িত্ব।
There is no blame on you if ye divorce women before consummation or the fixation of their dower; but bestow on them (A suitable gift), the wealthy according to his means, and the poor according to his means;- A gift of a reasonable amount is due from those who wish to do the right thing. |

আয়াতঃ ২৩৬) |
| 18 |
তাদেরকে সৎপথে আনার দায় তোমার নয়। বরং আল্লাহ যাকে ইচ্ছা সৎপথে পরিচালিত করেন। যে মাল তোমরা ব্যয় কর, তা নিজ উপাকারার্থেই কর। আল্লাহর সন্তুষ্টি ছাড়া অন্য কোন উদ্দেশ্যে ব্যয় করো না। তোমরা যে, অর্থ ব্যয় করবে, তার পুরস্কার পুরোপুরি পেয়ে যাবে এবং তোমাদের প্রতি অন্যায় করা হবে না।
It is not required of thee (O Messenger), to set them on the right path, but Allah sets on the right path whom He pleaseth. Whatever of good ye give benefits your own souls, and ye shall only do so seeking the "Face" of Allah. Whatever good ye give, shall be rendered back to you, and ye shall not Be dealt with unjustly. |

| 19 |
নিশ্চয়ই যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছে, সৎকাজ করেছে, নামায প্রতিষ্ঠিত করেছে এবং যাকাত দান করেছে, তাদের জন্যে তাদের পুরষ্কার তাদের পালনকর্তার কছে রয়েছে। তাদের কোন শঙ্কা নেই এবং তারা দুঃখিত হবে না।
Those who believe, and do deeds of righteousness, and establish regular prayers and regular charity, will have their reward with their Lord: on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve. |

| 20 |
তারা ধৈর্য্যধারণকারী, সত্যবাদী, নির্দেশ সম্পাদনকারী, সৎপথে ব্যয়কারী এবং শেষরাতে ক্ষমা প্রার্থনাকারী।
Those who show patience, Firmness and self-control; who are true (in word and deed); who worship devoutly; who spend (in the way of Allah); and who pray for forgiveness in the early hours of the morning. |
(আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১৭) |
| 21 |
যখন তিনি কামরার ভেতরে নামাযে দাঁড়িয়েছিলেন, তখন ফেরেশতারা তাঁকে ডেকে বললেন যে, আল্লাহ তোমাকে সুসংবাদ দিচ্ছেন ইয়াহইয়া সম্পর্কে, যিনি সাক্ষ্য দেবেন আল্লাহর নির্দেশের সত্যতা সম্পর্কে, যিনি নেতা হবেন এবং নারীদের সংস্পর্শে যাবেন না, তিনি অত্যন্ত সৎকর্মশীল নবী হবেন।
While he was standing in prayer in the chamber, the angels called unto him: "Allah doth give thee glad tidings of Yahya, witnessing the truth of a Word from Allah, and (be besides) noble, chaste, and a prophet,- of the (goodly) company of the righteous." |
(আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ৩৯) |
| 22 |
যখন তিনি মায়ের কোলে থাকবেন এবং পূর্ণ বয়স্ক হবেন তখন তিনি মানুষের সাথে কথা বলবেন। আর তিনি সৎকর্মশীলদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হবেন।
"He shall speak to the people in childhood and in maturity. And he shall be (of the company) of the righteous." |
(আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ৪৬) |
| 23 |
পক্ষান্তরে যারা ঈমান এনেছে এবং সৎকাজ করেছে। তাদের প্রাপ্য পরিপুর্ণভাবে দেয়া হবে। আর আল্লাহ অত্যাচারীদেরকে ভালবাসেন না।
"As to those who believe and work righteousness, Allah will pay them (in full) their reward; but Allah loveth not those who do wrong." |
(আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ৫৭) |
| 24 |
কিন্তু যারা অতঃপর তওবা করে নেবে এবং সৎকাজ করবে তারা ব্যতীত, নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ ক্ষমাশীল ও পরম দয়ালূ।
Except for those that repent (Even) after that, and make amends; for verily Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. |
(আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ৮৯) |
| 25 |
আর তোমাদের মধ্যে এমন একটা দল থাকা উচিত যারা আহবান জানাবে সৎকর্মের প্রতি, নির্দেশ দেবে ভাল কাজের এবং বারণ করবে অন্যায় কাজ থেকে, আর তারাই হলো সফলকাম।
Let there arise out of you a band of people inviting to all that is good, enjoining what is right, and forbidding what is wrong: They are the ones to attain felicity. |
(আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১০৪) |
| 26 |
তোমরাই হলে সর্বোত্তম উম্মত, মানবজাতির কল্যানের জন্যেই তোমাদের উদ্ভব ঘটানো হয়েছে। তোমরা সৎকাজের নির্দেশ দান করবে ও অন্যায় কাজে বাধা দেবে এবং আল্লাহর প্রতি ঈমান আনবে। আর আহলে-কিতাবরা যদি ঈমান আনতো, তাহলে তা তাদের জন্য মঙ্গলকর হতো। তাদের মধ্যে কিছু তো রয়েছে ঈমানদার আর অধিকাংশই হলো পাপাচারী।
Ye are the best of peoples, evolved for mankind, enjoining what is right, forbidding what is wrong, and believing in Allah. If only the People of the Book had faith, it were best for them: among them are some who have faith, but most of them are perverted transgressors. |
(আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১১০) |
| 27 |
তারা আল্লাহর প্রতি ও কিয়ামত দিবসের প্রতি ঈমান রাখে এবং কল্যাণকর বিষয়ের নির্দেশ দেয়; অকল্যাণ থেকে বারণ করে এবং সৎকাজের জন্য সাধ্যমত চেষ্টা করতে থাকে। আর এরাই হল সৎকর্মশীল।
They believe in Allah and the Last Day; they enjoin what is right, and forbid what is wrong; and they hasten (in emulation) in (all) good works: They are in the ranks of the righteous. |
(আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১১৪) |
| 28 |
তারা যেসব সৎকাজ করবে, কোন অবস্থাতেই সেগুলোর প্রতি অবজ্ঞা প্রদর্শন করা হবে না। আর আল্লাহ পরহেযগারদের বিষয়ে অবগত।
Of the good that they do, nothing will be rejected of them; for Allah knoweth well those that do right. |
(আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১১৫) |
| 29 |
যারা স্বচ্ছলতায় ও অভাবের সময় ব্যয় করে, যারা নিজেদের রাগকে সংবরণ করে আর মানুষের প্রতি ক্ষমা প্রদর্শন করে, বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহ সৎকর্মশীলদিগকেই ভালবাসেন।
Those who spend (freely), whether in prosperity, or in adversity; who restrain anger, and pardon (all) men;- for Allah loves those who do good;- |
(আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১৩৪) |
| 30 |
অতঃপর আল্লাহ তাদেরকে দুনিয়ার সওয়াব দান করেছেন এবং যথার্থ আখেরাতের সওয়াব। আর যারা সৎকর্মশীল আল্লাহ তাদেরকে ভালবাসেন।
And Allah gave them a reward in this world, and the excellent reward of the Hereafter. For Allah Loveth those who do good. |
(আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১৪৮) |
| 31 |
যারা আহত হয়ে পড়ার পরেও আল্লাহ এবং তাঁর রসূলের নির্দেশ মান্য করেছে, তাদের মধ্যে যারা সৎ ও পরহেযগার, তাদের জন্য রয়েছে মহান সওয়াব।
Of those who answered the call of Allah and the Messenger, even after being wounded, those who do right and refrain from wrong have a great reward;- |

আয়াতঃ ১৭২) |
| 32 |
অবশ্য ধন-সম্পদে এবং জনসম্পদে তোমাদের পরীক্ষা হবে এবং অবশ্য তোমরা শুনবে পূর্ববর্তী আহলে কিতাবদের কাছে এবং মুশরেকদের কাছে বহু অশোভন উক্তি। আর যদি তোমরা ধৈর্য্য ধারণ কর এবং পরহেযগারী অবলম্বন কর, তবে তা হবে একান্ত সৎসাহসের ব্যাপার।
Ye shall certainly be tried and tested in your possessions and in your personal selves; and ye shall certainly Hear much that will grieve you, from those who received the Book before you and from those who worship many gods. But if ye persevere patiently, and guard against evil,-then that will be a determining factor in all affairs. |
(আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১৮৬) |
| 33 |
কিন্তু যারা ভয় করে নিজেদের পালনকর্তাকে তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে জান্নাত যার তলদেশে প্রবাহিত রয়েছে প্রস্রবণ। তাতে আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে সদা আপ্যায়ন চলতে থাকবে। আর যা আল্লাহর নিকট রয়েছে, তা সৎকর্মশীলদের জন্যে একান্তই উত্তম।
On the other hand, for those who fear their Lord, are Gardens, with rivers flowing beneath; therein are they to dwell (for ever),- a gift from the presence of Allah; and that which is in the presence of Allah is the best (bliss) for the righteous. |

আয়াতঃ ১৯৮) |
| 34 |
আর উপাসনা কর আল্লাহর, শরীক করো না তাঁর সাথে অপর কাউকে। পিতা-মাতার সাথে সৎ ও সদয় ব্যবহার কর এবং নিকটাত্নীয়, এতীম-মিসকীন, প্রতিবেশী, অসহায় মুসাফির এবং নিজের দাস-দাসীর প্রতিও। নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ পছন্দ করেন না দাম্ভিক-গর্বিতজনকে।
Serve Allah, and join not any partners with Him; and do good- to parents, kinsfolk, orphans, those in need, neighbours who are near, neighbours who are strangers, the companion by your side, the wayfarer (ye meet), and what your right hands possess: For Allah loveth not the arrogant, the vainglorious;- |
(আন নিসা:

নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ কারো প্রাপ্য হক বিন্দু-বিসর্গও রাখেন না; আর যদি তা সৎকর্ম হয়, তবে তাকে দ্বিগুণ করে দেন এবং নিজের পক্ষ থেকে বিপুল সওয়াব দান করেন।
Allah is never unjust in the least degree: If there is any good (done), He doubleth it, and giveth from His own presence a great reward. |

আয়াতঃ ৪০) |
| 36 |
আর যারা ঈমান এনেছে এবং সৎকর্ম করেছে, অবশ্য আমি প্রবিষ্ট করাব তাদেরকে জান্নাতে, যার তলদেশে প্রবাহিত রয়েছে নহর সমূহ। সেখানে তারা থাকবে অনন্তকাল। সেখানে তাদের জন্য থাকবে পরিষ্কার-পরিচ্ছন্ন স্ত্রীগণ। তাদেরকে আমি প্রবিষ্ট করব ঘন ছায়া নীড়ে।
But those who believe and do deeds of righteousness, We shall soon admit to Gardens, with rivers flowing beneath,- their eternal home: Therein shall they have companions pure and holy: We shall admit them to shades, cool and ever deepening. |

আয়াতঃ ৫৭) |

আর যে কেউ আল্লাহর হুকুম এবং তাঁর রসূলের হুকুম মান্য করবে, তাহলে যাঁদের প্রতি আল্লাহ নেয়ামত দান করেছেন, সে তাঁদের সঙ্গী হবে। তাঁরা হলেন নবী, ছিদ্দীক, শহীদ ও সৎকর্মশীল ব্যক্তিবর্গ। আর তাদের সান্নিধ্যই হল উত্তম।
All who obey Allah and the messenger are in the company of those on whom is the Grace of Allah,- of the prophets (who teach), the sincere (lovers of Truth), the witnesses (who testify), and the Righteous (who do good): Ah! what a beautiful fellowship! |

আয়াতঃ ৬৯) |
| 38 |
যে লোক সৎকাজের জন্য কোন সুপারিশ করবে, তা থেকে সেও একটি অংশ পাবে। আর যে লোক সুপারিশ করবে মন্দ কাজের জন্যে সে তার বোঝারও একটি অংশ পাবে। বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহ সর্ব বিষয়ে ক্ষমতাশীল।
Whoever recommends and helps a good cause becomes a partner therein: And whoever recommends and helps an evil cause, shares in its burden: And Allah hath power over all things. |
(আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ৮৫) |
| 39 |
তাদের অধিকাংশ সলা-পরামর্শ ভাল নয়; কিন্তু যে সলা-পরামর্শ দান খয়রাত করতে কিংবা সৎকাজ করতে কিংবা মানুষের মধ্যে সন্ধিস্থাপন কল্পে করতো তা স্বতন্ত্র। যে একাজ করে আল্লাহর সন্তুষ্টির জন্যে আমি তাকে বিরাট ছওয়াব দান করব।
In most of their secret talks there is no good: But if one exhorts to a deed of charity or justice or conciliation between men, (Secrecy is permissible): To him who does this, seeking the good pleasure of Allah, We shall soon give a reward of the highest (value). |

আয়াতঃ ১১৪) |
| 40 |
যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছে এবং সৎকর্ম করেছে, আমি তাদেরকে উদ্যানসমূহে প্রবিষ্ট করাব, যেগুলোর তলদেশে নহরসমূহ প্রবাহিত হয়। তারা চিরকাল তথায় অবস্থান করবে। আল্লাহ প্রতিশ্রুতি দিয়েছেন সত্য সত্য। আল্লাহর চাইতে অধিক সত্যবাদী কে?
But those who believe and do deeds of righteousness,- we shall soon admit them to gardens, with rivers flowing beneath,-to dwell therein for ever. Allah's promise is the truth, and whose word can be truer than Allah's? |

আয়াতঃ ১২২) |
| 41 |
যে লোক পুরুষ হোক কিংবা নারী, কোন সৎকর্ম করে এবং বিশ্বাসী হয়, তবে তারা জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করবে এবং তাদের প্রাপ্য তিল পরিমাণ ও নষ্ট হবে না।
If any do deeds of righteousness,- be they male or female - and have faith, they will enter Heaven, and not the least injustice will be done to them. |
(আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১২৪) |
| 42 |
যে আল্লাহর নির্দেশের সামনে মস্তক অবনত করে সৎকাজে নিয়োজিত থাকে এবং ইব্রাহীমের ধর্ম অনুসরণ করে, যিনি একনিষ্ঠ ছিলেন, তার চাইতে উত্তম ধর্ম কার? আল্লাহ ইব্রাহীমকে বন্ধুরূপে গ্রহণ করেছেন।
Who can be better in religion than one who submits his whole self to Allah, does good, and follows the way of Abraham the true in Faith? For Allah did take Abraham for a friend. |

আয়াতঃ ১২৫) |
| 43 |
অতঃপর যারা ঈমান এনেছে এবং সৎকাজ করেছে, তিনি তাদেরকে পরিপূর্ণ সওয়াব দান করবেন, বরং স্বীয় অনুগ্রহে আরো বেশী দেবেন। পক্ষান্তরে যারা লজ্জাবোধ করেছে এবং অহঙ্কার করেছে তিনি তাদেরকে দেবেন বেদনাদায়ক আযাব। আল্লাহকে ছাড়া তারা কোন সাহায্যকারী ও সমর্থক পাবে না।
But to those who believe and do deeds of righteousness, He will give their (due) rewards,- and more, out of His bounty: But those who are disdainful and arrogant, He will punish with a grievous penalty; Nor will they find, besides Allah, any to protect or help them. |

হে মুমিনগণ! হালাল মনে করো না আল্লাহর নিদর্শনসমূহ এবং সম্মানিত মাসসমূহকে এবং হরমে কুরবানীর জন্যে নির্দিষ্ট জন্তুকে এবং ঐসব জন্তুকে, যাদের গলায় কন্ঠাভরণ রয়েছে এবং ঐসব লোককে যারা সম্মানিত গৃহ অভিমুখে যাচ্ছে, যারা স্বীয় পালনকর্তার অনুগ্রহ ও সন্তুষ্টি কামনা করে। যখন তোমরা এহরাম থেকে বের হয়ে আস, তখন শিকার কর। যারা পবিত্র মসজিদ থেকে তোমাদেরকে বাধা প্রদান করেছিল, সেই সম্প্রদায়ের শুত্রুতা যেন তোমাদেরকে সীমালঙ্ঘনে প্ররোচিত না করে। সৎকর্ম ও খোদাভীতিতে একে অন্যের সাহায্য কর। পাপ ও সীমালঙ্ঘনের ব্যাপারে একে অন্যের সহায়তা করো না। আল্লাহকে ভয় কর। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ তা’আলা কঠোর শাস্তিদাতা।
O ye who believe! Violate not the sanctity of the symbols of Allah, nor of the sacred month, nor of the animals brought for sacrifice, nor the garlands that mark out such animals, nor the people resorting to the sacred house, seeking of the bounty and good pleasure of their Lord. But when ye are clear of the sacred precincts and of pilgrim garb, ye may hunt and let not the hatred of some people in (once) shutting you out of the Sacred Mosque lead you to transgression (and hostility on your part). Help ye one another in righteousness and piety, but help ye not one another in sin and rancour: fear Allah: for Allah is strict in punishment. |

যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে, এবং সৎকর্ম সম্পাদন করে, আল্লাহ তা˦#2503;দরকে ক্ষমা ও মহান প্রতিদানের প্রতিশ্রুতি দিয়েছেন।
To those who believe and do deeds of righteousness hath Allah promised forgiveness and a great reward. |

আমি আপনার প্রতি অবতীর্ণ করেছি সত্যগ্রন্থ, যা পূর্ববতী গ্রন্থ সমূহের সত্যায়নকারী এবং সেগুলোর বিষয়বস্তুর রক্ষণাবেক্ষণকারী। অতএব, আপনি তাদের পারস্পারিক ব্যাপারাদিতে আল্লাহ যা অবতীর্ণ করেছেন, তদনুযায়ী ফয়সালা করুন এবং আপনার কাছে যে সৎপথ এসেছে, তা ছেড়ে তাদের প্রবৃত্তির অনুসরণ করবেন না। আমি তোমাদের প্রত্যেককে একটি আইন ও পথ দিয়েছি। যদি আল্লাহ চাইতেন, তবে তোমাদের সবাইকে এক উম্মত করে দিতেন, কিন্তু এরূপ করেননি-যাতে তোমাদেরকে যে ধর্ম দিয়েছেন, তাতে তোমাদের পরীক্ষা নেন। অতএব, দৌড়ে কল্যাণকর বিষয়াদি অর্জন কর। তোমাদের সবাইকে আল্লাহর কাছে প্রত্যাবর্তন করতে হবে। অতঃপর তিনি অবহিত করবেন সে বিষয়, যাতে তোমরা মতবিরোধ করতে।
To thee We sent the Scripture in truth, confirming the scripture that came before it, and guarding it in safety: so judge between them by what Allah hath revealed, and follow not their vain desires, diverging from the Truth that hath come to thee. To each among you have we prescribed a law and an open way. If Allah had so willed, He would have made you a single people, but (His plan is) to test you in what He hath given you: so strive as in a race in all virtues. The goal of you all is to Allah; it is He that will show you the truth of the matters in which ye dispute; |

আয়াতঃ ৪৮) |
| 47 |
যদি তারা তওরাত, ইঞ্জিল এবং যা প্রতিপালকের পক্ষ থেকে তাদের প্রতি অবতীর্ণ হয়েছে, পুরোপুরি পালন করত, তবে তারা উপর থেকে এবং পায়ের নীচ থেকে ভক্ষণ করত। তাদের কিছুসংখ্যক লোক সৎপথের অনুগামী এবং অনেকেই মন্দ কাজ করে যাচ্ছে।
If only they had stood fast by the Law, the Gospel, and all the revelation that was sent to them from their Lord, they would have enjoyed happiness from every side. There is from among them a party on the right course: but many of them follow a course that is evil. |
(আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৬৬) |
| 48 |
নিশ্চয় যারা মুসলমান, যারা ইহুদী, ছাবেয়ী বা খ্রীষ্টান, তাদের মধ্যে যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে আল্লাহর প্রতি, কিয়ামতের প্রতি এবং সৎকর্ম সম্পাদন করে, তাদের কোন ভয় নেই এবং তারা দুঃখিত হবে না।
Those who believe (in the Qur'an), those who follow the Jewish (scriptures), and the Sabians and the Christians,- any who believe in Allah and the Last Day, and work righteousness,- on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve. |
(আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৬৯) |
| 49 |
আমাদের কি ওযর থাকতে পারে যে, আমরা আল্লাহর প্রতি এবং যে সত্য আমাদের কাছে এসেছে, তৎপ্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করব না এবং এ আশা করবো না যে, আমদের প্রতিপালক আমাদেরকে সৎ লোকদের সাথে প্রবিষ্ট করবেন?
"What cause can we have not to believe in Allah and the truth which has come to us, seeing that we long for our Lord to admit us to the company of the righteous?" |
(আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৮৪) |
| 50 |
অতঃপর তাদেরকে আল্লাহ এ উক্তির প্রতিদান স্বরূপ এমন উদ্যান দিবেন যার তলদেশে নির্ঝরিণীসমূহ প্রবাহিত হবে। তারা তন্মধ্যে চিরকাল অবস্থান করবে। এটাই সৎকর্মশীলদের প্রতিদান।
And for this their prayer hath Allah rewarded them with gardens, with rivers flowing underneath,- their eternal home. Such is the recompense of those who do good. |

আয়াতঃ ৮৫) |
| 51 |
যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছে এবং সৎকর্ম করেছে, তারা পূর্বে যা ভক্ষণ করেছে, সে জন্য তাদের কোন গোনাহ নেই যখন ভবিষ্যতের জন্যে সংযত হয়েছে, বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছে এবং সৎকর্ম সম্পাদন করেছে। এরপর সংযত থাকে এবং বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে। এরপর সংযত থাকে এবং সৎকর্ম করে। আল্লাহ সৎকর্মীদেরকে ভালবাসেন।
On those who believe and do deeds of righteousness there is no blame for what they ate (in the past), when they guard themselves from evil, and believe, and do deeds of righteousness,- (or) again, guard themselves from evil and believe,- (or) again, guard themselves from evil and do good. For Allah loveth those who do good. |
(আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৯৩) |
| 52 |
হে মুমিনগণ, তোমরা নিজেদের চিন্তা কর। তোমরা যখন সৎপথে রয়েছ, তখন কেউ পথভ্রান্ত হলে তাতে তোমাদের কোন ক্ষতি নাই। তোমাদের সবাইকে আল্লাহর কাছে ফিরে যেতে হবে। তখন তিনি তোমাদেরকে বলে দেবেন, যা কিছু তোমরা করতে।
O ye who believe! Guard your own souls: If ye follow (right) guidance, no hurt can come to you from those who stray. the goal of you all is to Allah: it is He that will show you the truth of all that ye do. |
(আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১০৫) |
| 53 |
আর যখন তারা আপনার কাছে আসবে যারা আমার নিদর্শনসমূহে বিশ্বাস করে, তখন আপনি বলে দিনঃ তোমাদের উপর শান্তি বর্ষিত হোক। তোমাদের পালনকর্তা রহমত করা নিজ দায়িত্বে লিখে নিয়েছেন যে, তোমাদের মধ্যে যে কেউ অজ্ঞতাবশতঃ কোন মন্দ কাজ করে, অনন্তর এরপরে তওবা করে নেয় এবং সৎ হয়ে যায়, তবে তিনি অত্যন্ত ক্ষমাশীল, করুণাময়।
When those come to thee who believe in Our signs, Say: "Peace be on you: Your Lord hath inscribed for Himself (the rule of) mercy: verily, if any of you did evil in ignorance, and thereafter repented, and amend (his conduct), lo! He is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. |

আয়াতঃ ৫৪) |
| 54 |
আমি তাঁকে দান করেছি ইসহাক এবং এয়াকুব। প্রত্যেককেই আমি পথ প্রদর্শন করেছি এবং পূর্বে আমি নূহকে পথ প্রদর্শন করেছি-তাঁর সন্তানদের মধ্যে দাউদ, সোলায়মান, আইউব, ইউসুফ, মূসা ও হারুনকে। এমনিভাবে আমি সৎকর্মীদেরকে প্রতিদান দিয়ে থাকি।
We gave him Isaac and Jacob: all (three) guided: and before him, We guided Noah, and among his progeny, David, Solomon, Job, Joseph, Moses, and Aaron: thus do We reward those who do good: |

আয়াতঃ ৮৪) |

অতঃপর আমি মূসাকে গ্রন্থ দিয়েছি, সৎকর্মীদের প্রতি নেয়ামতপূর্ণ করার জন্যে, প্রত্যেক বস্তুর বিশদ বিবরণের জন্যে, হোদায়াতের জন্যে এবং করুণার জন্যে-যাতে তারা স্বীয় পালনকর্তার সাথে সাক্ষাতে বিশ্বাসী হয়।
Moreover, We gave Moses the Book, completing (Our favour) to those who would do right, and explaining all things in detail,- and a guide and a mercy, that they might believe in the meeting with their Lord. |
(আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ১৫৪) |
| 56 |
তারা শুধু এ বিষয়ের দিকে চেয়ে আছে যে, তাদের কাছে ফেরেশতা আগমন করবে কিংবা আপনার পালনকর্তা আগমন করবেন অথবা আপনার পালনকর্তার কোন নির্দেশ আসবে। যেদিন আপনার পালনকর্তার কোন নিদর্শন আসবে, সেদিন এমন কোন ব্যক্তির বিশ্বাস স্থাপন তার জন্যে ফলপ্রসূ হবে না, যে পূর্ব থেকে বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেনি কিংবা স্বীয় বিশ্বাস অনুযায়ী কোনরূপ সৎকর্ম করেনি। আপনি বলে দিনঃ তোমরা পথের দিকে চেয়ে থাক, আমরাও পথে দিকে তাকিয়ে রইলাম।
Are they waiting to see if the angels come to them, or thy Lord (Himself), or certain of the signs of thy Lord! the day that certain of the signs of thy Lord do come, no good will it do to a soul to believe in them then if it believed not before nor earned righteousness through its faith. Say: "Wait ye: we too are waiting." |

আয়াতঃ ১৫৮) |
| 57 |
যে একটি সৎকর্ম করবে, সে তার দশগুণ পাবে এবং যে, একটি মন্দ কাজ করবে, সে তার সমান শাস্তিই পাবে। বস্তুতঃ তাদের প্রতি জুলুম করা হবে না।
He that doeth good shall have ten times as much to his credit: He that doeth evil shall only be recompensed according to his evil: no wrong shall be done unto (any of) them. |
(আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ১৬০) |
| 58 |
একদলকে পথ প্রদর্শন করেছেন এবং একদলের জন্যে পথভ্রষ্টতা অবধারিত হয়ে গেছে। তারা আল্লাহকে ছেড়ে শয়তানদেরকে বন্ধু হিসাবে গ্রহণ করেছে এবং ধারণা করে যে, তারা সৎপথে রয়েছে।
Some He hath guided: Others have (by their choice) deserved the loss of their way; in that they took the evil ones, in preference to Allah, for their friends and protectors, and think that they receive guidance. |
(আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৩০) |
| 59 |
হে বনী-আদম, যদি তোমাদের কাছে তোমাদেরই মধ্য থেকে পয়গম্বর আগমন করে তোমাদেরকে আমার আয়াত সমূহ শুনায়, তবে যে ব্যক্তি সংযত হয় এবং সৎকাজ অবলম্বন করে, তাদের কোন আশঙ্কা নেই এবং তারা দুঃখিত হবে না।
O ye Children of Adam! whenever there come to you messengers from amongst you, rehearsing My signs unto you,- those who are righteous and mend (their lives),- on them shall be no fear nor shall they grieve. |

আয়াতঃ ৩৫) |
| 60 |
যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছে এবং সৎকর্ম করেছে আমি কাউকে তার সামর্থ্যের চাইতে বেশী বোঝা দেই না। তারাই জান্নাতের অধিবাসী। তারা তাতেই চিরকাল থাকবে।
But those who believe and work righteousness,- no burden do We place on any soul, but that which it can bear,- they will be Companions of the Garden, therein to dwell (for ever). |
(আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৪২) |
| 61 |
পৃথিবীকে কুসংস্কারমুক্ত ও ঠিক করার পর তাতে অনর্থ সৃষ্টি করো না। তাঁকে আহবান কর ভয় ও আশা সহকারে। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহর করুণা সৎকর্মশীলদের নিকটবর্তী।
Do no mischief on the earth, after it hath been set in order, but call on Him with fear and longing (in your hearts): for the Mercy of Allah is (always) near to those who do good. |
(আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৫৬) |
| 62 |
সামুদ সম্প্রদায়ের কাছে প্রেরণ করেছি তাদের ভাই সালেহকে। সে বললঃ হে আমার সম্প্রদায়, তোমরা আল্লাহর এবাদত কর। তিনি ব্যতিত তোমাদের কোন উপাস্য নেই। তোমাদের কাছে তোমাদের প্রতিপালকের পক্ষ থেকে একটি প্রমাণ এসে গেছে। এটি আল্লাহর উষ্টী তোমাদের জন্যে প্রমাণ। অতএব একে ছেড়ে দাও, আল্লাহর ভুমিতে চড়ে বেড়াবে। একে অসৎভাবে স্পর্শ করবে না। অন্যথায় তোমাদেরকে যন্ত্রনাদায়ক শাস্তি পাকড়াও করবে।
To the Thamud people (We sent) Salih, one of their own brethren: He said: "O my people! worship Allah: ye have no other god but Him. Now hath come unto you a clear (Sign) from your Lord! This she-camel of Allah is a Sign unto you: So leave her to graze in Allah's earth, and let her come to no harm, or ye shall be seized with a grievous punishment. |
(আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৭৩) |

সেসমস্ত লোক, যারা আনুগত্য অবলম্বন করে এ রসূলের, যিনি উম্মী নবী, যাঁর সম্পর্কে তারা নিজেদের কাছে রক্ষিত তওরাত ও ইঞ্জিলে লেখা দেখতে পায়, তিনি তাদেরকে নির্দেশ দেন সৎকর্মের, বারণ করেন অসৎকর্ম থেকে; তাদের জন্য যাবতীয় পবিত্র বস্তু হালাল ঘোষনা করেন ও নিষিদ্ধ করেন হারাম বস্তুসমূহ এবং তাদের উপর থেকে সে বোঝা নামিয়ে দেন এবং বন্দীত্ব অপসারণ করেন যা তাদের উপর বিদ্যমান ছিল। সুতরাং যেসব লোক তাঁর উপর ঈমান এনেছে, তাঁর সাহচর্য অবলম্বন করেছে, তাঁকে সাহায্য করেছে এবং সে নূরের অনুসরণ করেছে যা তার সাথে অবতীর্ণ করা হয়েছে, শুধুমাত্র তারাই নিজেদের উদ্দেশ্য সফলতা অর্জন করতে পেরেছে।
"Those who follow the messenger, the unlettered Prophet, whom they find mentioned in their own (scriptures),- in the law and the Gospel;- for he commands them what is just and forbids them what is evil; he allows them as lawful what is good (and pure) and prohibits them from what is bad (and impure); He releases them from their heavy burdens and from the yokes that are upon them. So it is those who believe in him, honour him, help him, and follow the light which is sent down with him,- it is they who will prosper." |
(আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৫৭) |
| 64 |
আর যখন তাদের প্রতি নির্দেশ হল যে, তোমরা এ নগরীতে বসবাস কর এবং খাও তা থেকে যেখান থেকে ইচ্ছা এবং বল, আমাদের ক্ষমা করুন। আর দরজা দিয়ে প্রবেশ কর প্রণত অবস্থায়। তবে আমি ক্ষমা করে দেব তোমাদের পাপসমুহ। অবশ্য আমি সৎকর্মীদিগকে অতিরিক্ত দান করব।
And remember it was said to them: "Dwell in this town and eat therein as ye wish, but say the word of humility and enter the gate in a posture of humility: We shall forgive you your faults; We shall increase (the portion of) those who do good." |
(আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৬১) |

আর যেসব লোক সুদৃঢ়ভাবে কিতাবকে আঁকড়ে থাকে এবং নামায প্রতিষ্ঠা করে নিশ্চয়ই আমি বিনষ্ট করব না সৎকর্মীদের সওয়াব।
As to those who hold fast by the Book and establish regular prayer,- never shall We suffer the reward of the righteous to perish. |
(আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৭০) |
| 66 |
আমার সহায় তো হলেন আল্লাহ, যিনি কিতাব অবতীর্ণ করেছেন। বস্তুত; তিনিই সাহায্য করেন সৎকর্মশীল বান্দাদের।
"For my Protector is Allah, Who revealed the Book (from time to time), and He will choose and befriend the righteous. |
(আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৯৬) |
| 67 |
আর ক্ষমা করার অভ্যাস গড়ে তোল, সৎকাজের নির্দেশ দাও এবং মূর্খ জাহেলদের থেকে দূরে সরে থাক।
Hold to forgiveness; command what is right; But turn away from the ignorant. |

যেমন করে তোমাকে তোমার পরওয়ারদেগার ঘর থেকে বের করেছেন ন্যায় ও সৎকাজের জন্য, অথচ ঈমানদারদের একটি দল (তাতে) সম্মত ছিল না।
Just as thy Lord ordered thee out of thy house in truth, even though a party among the Believers disliked it, |

তাদের মধ্যে কেউ কেউ রয়েছে যারা আল্লাহ তা’আলার সাথে ওয়াদা করেছিল যে, তিনি যদি আমাদের প্রতি অনুগ্রহ দান করেন, তবে অবশ্যই আমরা ব্যয় করব এবং সৎকর্মীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হয়ে থাকব।
Amongst them are men who made a covenant with Allah, that if He bestowed on them of His bounty, they would give (largely) in charity, and be truly amongst those who are righteous. |

তারা তওবাকারী, এবাদতকারী, শোকরগোযার, (দুনিয়ার সাথে) সম্পর্কচ্ছেদকারী, রুকু ও সিজদা আদায়কারী, সৎকাজের আদেশ দানকারী ও মন্দ কাজ থেকে নিবৃতকারী এবং আল্লাহর দেওয়া সীমাসমূহের হেফাযতকারী। বস্তুতঃ সুসংবাদ দাও ঈমানদারদেরকে।
Those that turn (to Allah) in repentance; that serve Him, and praise Him; that wander in devotion to the cause of Allah,: that bow down and prostrate themselves in prayer; that enjoin good and forbid evil; and observe the limit set by Allah;- (These do rejoice). So proclaim the glad tidings to the Believers. |

মদীনাবাসী ও পাশ্ববর্তী পল্লীবাসীদের উচিত নয় রসূলুল্লাহর সঙ্গ ত্যাগ করে পেছনে থেকে যাওয়া এবং রসূলের প্রাণ থেকে নিজেদের প্রাণকে অধিক প্রিয় মনে করা। এটি এজন্য যে, আল্লাহর পথে যে তৃষ্ণা, ক্লান্তি ও ক্ষুধা তাদের স্পর্শ করে এবং তাদের এমন পদক্ষেপ যা কাফেরদের মনে ক্রোধের কারণ হয় আর শত্রুদের পক্ষ থেকে তারা যা কিছু প্রাপ্ত হয়-তার প্রত্যেকটির পরিবর্তে তাদের জন্য লিখিত হয়ে নেক আমল। নিঃসন্দেহে আল্লাহ সৎকর্মশীল লোকদের হক নষ্ট করেন না।
It was not fitting for the people of Medina and the Bedouin Arabs of the neighbourhood, to refuse to follow Allah's Messenger, nor to prefer their own lives to his: because nothing could they suffer or do, but was reckoned to their credit as a deed of righteousness,- whether they suffered thirst, or fatigue, or hunger, in the cause of Allah, or trod paths to raise the ire of the Unbelievers, or received any injury whatever from an enemy: for Allah suffereth not the reward to be lost of those who do good;- |

অবশ্য যেসব লোক ঈমান এনেছে এবং সৎকাজ করেছে, তাদেরকে হেদায়েত দান করবেন তাদের পালনকর্তা, তাদের ঈমানের মাধ্যমে। এমন সুসময় কানন-কুঞ্জের প্রতি যার তলদেশে প্রবাহিত হয় প্রস্রবণসমূহ।
Those who believe, and work righteousness,- their Lord will guide them because of their faith: beneath them will flow rivers in gardens of bliss. |

যারা সৎকর্ম করেছে তাদের জন্য রয়েছে কল্যাণ এবং তারও চেয়ে বেশী। আর তাদের মুখমন্ডলকে আবৃত করবে না মলিনতা কিংবা অপমান। তারাই হল জান্নাতবাসী, এতেই তারা বসবাস করতে থাকবে অনন্তকাল।
To those who do right is a goodly (reward)- Yea, more (than in measure)! No darkness nor shame shall cover their faces! they are companions of the garden; they will abide therein (for aye)! |

| 74 |
আর যারা সঞ্চয় করেছে অকল্যাণ অসৎ কর্মের বদলায় সে পরিমাণ অপমান তাদের চেহারাকে আবৃত করে ফেলবে। কেউ নেই তাদেরকে বাঁচাতে পারে আল্লাহর হাত থেকে। তাদের মুখমন্ডল যেন ঢেকে দেয়া হয়েছে আধাঁর রাতের টুকরো দিয়ে। এরা হল দোযখবাসী। এরা এতেই থাকবে অনন্তকাল।
But those who have earned evil will have a reward of like evil: ignominy will cover their (faces): No defender will they have from (the wrath of) Allah: Their faces will be covered, as it were, with pieces from the depth of the darkness of night: they are companions of the Fire: they will abide therein (for aye)! |

তবে যারা ধৈর্য্যধারণ করেছে এবং সৎকার্য করেছে তাদের জন্য ক্ষমা ও বিরাট প্রতিদান রয়েছে।
Not so do those who show patience and constancy, and work righteousness; for them is forgiveness (of sins) and a great reward. |

নিশ্চয়ই যারা ঈমান এনেছে ও সৎকাজ করেছে এবং স্বীয় পালনকর্তার সমীপে বিনতি প্রকাশ করেছে তারাই বেহেশতবাসী, সেখানেই তারা চিরকাল থাকবে।
But those who believe and work righteousness, and humble themselves before their Lord,- They will be companions of the gardens, to dwell therein for aye! |

তারা বলল-হে শোয়ায়েব (আঃ) আপনার নামায কি আপনাকে ইহাই শিক্ষা দেয় যে, আমরা ঐসব উপাস্যদেরকে পরিত্যাগ করব আমাদের বাপ-দাদারা যাদের উপাসনা করত? অথবা আমাদের ধন-সম্পদে ইচ্ছামত যা কিছু করে থাকি, তা ছেড়ে দেব? আপনি তো একজন খাস মহৎ ব্যক্তি ও সৎপথের পথিক।
They said: "O Shu'aib! Does thy (religion of) prayer command thee that we leave off the worship which our fathers practised, or that we leave off doing what we like with our property? truly, thou art the one that forbeareth with faults and is right-minded!" |

কাজেই, তোমাদের পূর্ববতী জাতি গুলির মধ্যে এমন সৎকর্মশীল কেন রইল না, যারা পৃথিবীতে বিপর্যয় সৃষ্টি করতে বাধা দিত; তবে মুষ্টিমেয় লোক ছিল যাদেরকে আমি তাদের মধ্য হতে রক্ষা করেছি। আর পাপিষ্ঠরা তো ভোগ বিলাসে মত্ত ছিল যার সামগ্রী তাদেরকে যথেষ্ট দেয়া হয়েছিল। আসলে তারা ছিল মহা অপরাধী।
Why were there not, among the generations before you, persons possessed of balanced good sense, prohibiting (men) from mischief in the earth - except a few among them whom We saved (from harm)? But the wrong-doers pursued the enjoyment of the good things of life which were given them, and persisted in sin. |

আর তোমার পালনকর্তা এমন নন যে, জনবসতিগুলোকে অন্যায়ভাবে ধ্বংস করে দেবেন, সেখানকার লোকেরা সৎকর্মশীল হওয়া সত্ত্বেও।
Nor would thy Lord be the One to destroy communities for a single wrong-doing, if its members were likely to mend. |

যখন সে পূর্ণ যৌবনে পৌছে গেল, তখন তাকে প্রজ্ঞা ও ব্যুৎপত্তি দান করলাম। এমননিভাবে আমি সৎকর্মপরায়ণদেরকে প্রতিদান দেই।
When Joseph attained His full manhood, We gave him power and knowledge: thus do We reward those who do right. |

আয়াতঃ ২২) |
| 81 |
তাঁর সাথে কারাগারে দুজন যুবক প্রবেশ করল। তাদের একজন বললঃ আমি স্বপ্নে দেখলাম যে, আমি মদ নিঙড়াচ্ছি। অপরজন বললঃ আমি দেখলাম যে, নিজ মাথায় রুটি বহন করছি। তা থেকে পাখী ঠুকরিয়ে খাচ্ছে। আমাদের কে এর ব্যাখ্যা বলুন। আমরা আপনাকে সৎকর্মশীল দেখতে পাচ্ছি।
Now with him there came into the prison two young men. Said one of them: "I see myself (in a dream) pressing wine." said the other: "I see myself (in a dream) carrying bread on my head, and birds are eating, thereof." "Tell us" (they said) "The truth and meaning thereof: for we see thou art one that doth good (to all)." |

আয়াতঃ ৩৬) |
| 82 |
তারা বলল, তবে কি তুমিই ইউসুফ! বললেনঃ আমিই ইউসুফ এবং এ হল আমার সহোদর ভাই। আল্লাহ আমাদের প্রতি অনুগ্রহ করেছেন। নিশ্চয় যে তাকওয়া অবলম্বন করে এবং সবর করে, আল্লাহ এহেন সৎকর্মশীলদের প্রতিদান বিনষ্ট করেন না।
They said: "Art thou indeed Joseph?" He said, "I am Joseph, and this is my brother: Allah has indeed been gracious to us (all): behold, he that is righteous and patient,- never will Allah suffer the reward to be lost, of those who do right." |
(ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৯০) |
| 83 |
তা হচ্ছে বসবাসের বাগান। তাতে তারা প্রবেশ করবে এবং তাদের সৎকর্মশীল বাপ-দাদা, স্বামী-স্ত্রী ও সন্তানেরা। ফেরেশতারা তাদের কাছে আসবে প্রত্যেক দরজা দিয়ে।
Gardens of perpetual bliss: they shall enter there, as well as the righteous among their fathers, their spouses, and their offspring: and angels shall enter unto them from every gate (with the salutation): |

আয়াতঃ ২৩) |
| 84 |
যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে এবং সৎকর্ম সম্পাদন করে, তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে সুসংবাদ এবং মনোরম প্রত্যাবর্তণস্থল।
"For those who believe and work righteousness, is (every) blessedness, and a beautiful place of (final) return." |

আয়াতঃ ২৯) |
| 85 |
যদি কোন কোরআন এমন হত, যার সাহায্যে পাহাড় চলমান হয় অথবা যমীন খন্ডিত হয় অথবা মৃতরা কথা বলে, তবে কি হত? বরং সব কাজ তো আল্লাহর হাতে। ঈমানদাররা কি এ ব্যাপারে নিশ্চিত নয় যে, যদি আল্লাহ চাইতেন, তবে সব মানুষকে সৎপথে পরিচালিত করতেন? কাফেররা তাদের কৃতকর্মের কারণে সব সময় আঘাত পেতে থাকবে অথবা তাদের গৃহের নিকটবর্তী স্থানে আঘাত নেমে আসবে, যে, পর্যন্ত আল্লাহর ওয়াদা না আসে। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ ওয়াদার খেলাফ করেন না।
If there were a Qur'an with which mountains were moved, or the earth were cloven asunder, or the dead were made to speak, (this would be the one!) But, truly, the command is with Allah in all things! Do not the Believers know, that, had Allah (so) willed, He could have guided all mankind (to the right)? But the Unbelievers,- never will disaster cease to seize them for their (ill) deeds, or to settle close to their homes, until the promise of Allah come to pass, for, verily, Allah will not fail in His promise. |

ওরা প্রত্যেকেই কি মাথার উপর স্ব স্ব কৃতকর্ম নিয়ে দন্ডায়মান নয়? এবং তারা আল্লাহর জন্য অংশীদার সাব্যস্ত করে। বলুন; নাম বল অথবা খবর দাও পৃথিবীর এমন কিছু জিনিস সম্পর্কে যা তিনি জানেন না? অথবা অসার কথাবার্তা বলছ? বরং সুশোভিত করা হয়েছে কাফেরদের জন্যে তাদের প্রতারণাকে এবং তাদেরকে সৎপথ থেকে বাধা দান করা হয়েছে। আল্লাহ যাকে পথভ্রষ্ট করেন, তার কোন পথ প্রদর্শক নেই।
Is then He who standeth over every soul (and knoweth) all that it doth, (like any others)? And yet they ascribe partners to Allah. Say: "But name them! is it that ye will inform Him of something he knoweth not on earth, or is it (just) a show of words?" Nay! to those who believe not, their pretence seems pleasing, but they are kept back (thereby) from the path. And those whom Allah leaves to stray, no one can guide. |

আয়াতঃ ৩৩) |

আমি সব পয়গম্বরকেই তাদের স্বজাতির ভাষাভাষী করেই প্রেরণ করেছি, যাতে তাদেরকে পরিষ্কার বোঝাতে পারে। অতঃপর আল্লাহ যাকে ইচ্ছা, পথঃভ্রষ্ট করেন এবং যাকে ইচ্ছা সৎপথ প্রদর্শন করেন। তিনি পরাক্রান্ত, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
We sent not a messenger except (to teach) in the language of his (own) people, in order to make (things) clear to them. Now Allah leaves straying those whom He pleases and guides whom He pleases: and He is Exalted in power, full of Wisdom. |
(ইব্রাহীম:
আয়াতঃ ৪) |
| 88 |
সবাই আল্লাহর সামনে দন্ডায়মান হবে এবং দুর্বলেরা বড়দেরকে বলবেঃ আমরা তো তোমাদের অনুসারী ছিলাম-অতএব, তোমরা আল্লাহর আযাব থেকে আমাদেরকে কিছুমাত্র রক্ষা করবে কি? তারা বলবেঃ যদি আল্লাহ আমাদেরকে সৎপথ দেখাতেন, তবে আমরা অবশ্যই তোমাদের কে সৎপথ দেখাতাম। এখন তো আমাদের ধৈর্য্যচ্যুত হই কিংবা সবর করি-সবই আমাদের জন্যে সমান আমাদের রেহাই নেই।
They will all be marshalled before Allah together: then will the weak say to those who were arrogant, "For us, we but followed you; can ye then avail us to all against the wrath of Allah?" They will reply, "If we had received the Guidance of Allah, we should have given it to you: to us it makes no difference (now) whether we rage, or bear (these torments) with patience: for ourselves there is no way of escape." |

আয়াতঃ ২১) |
| 89 |
এবং যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপণ করে এবং সৎকর্ম সম্পাদন করে তাদেরকে এমন উদ্যানে প্রবেশ করানো হবে, যার পাদদেশ দিয়ে নির্ঝরিনী সমূহ প্রবাহিত হবে তারা তাতে পালনকর্তার নির্দেশে অনন্তকাল থাকবে। যেখানে তাদের সম্ভাষণ হবে সালাম।
But those who believe and work righteousness will be admitted to gardens beneath which rivers flow,- to dwell therein for aye with the leave of their Lord. Their greeting therein will be: "Peace!" |

আয়াতঃ ২৩) |
| 90 |
সরল পথ আল্লাহ পর্যন্ত পৌছে এবং পথগুলোর মধ্যে কিছু বক্র পথও রয়েছে। তিনি ইচ্ছা করলে তোমাদের সবাইকে সৎপথে পরিচালিত করতে পারতেন।
And unto Allah leads straight the Way, but there are ways that turn aside: if Allah had willed, He could have guided all of you. |
(নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ৯) |
| 91 |
পরহেযগারদেরকে বলা হয়ঃ তোমাদের পালনকর্তা কি নাযিল করেছেন? তারা বলেঃ মহাকল্যাণ। যারা এ জগতে সৎকাজ করে, তাদের জন্যে কল্যাণ রয়েছে এবং পরকালের গৃহ আরও উত্তম। পরহেযগারদের গৃহ কি চমৎকার?
To the righteous (when) it is said, "What is it that your Lord has revealed?" they say, "All that is good." To those who do good, there is good in this world, and the Home of the Hereafter is even better and excellent indeed is the Home of the righteous,- |

| 92 |
যে সৎকর্ম সম্পাদন করে এবং সে ঈমাণদার, পুরুষ হোক কিংবা নারী আমি তাকে পবিত্র জীবন দান করব এবং প্রতিদানে তাদেরকে তাদের উত্তম কাজের কারণে প্রাপ্য পুরষ্কার দেব যা তারা করত।
Whoever works righteousness, man or woman, and has Faith, verily, to him will We give a new Life, a life that is good and pure and We will bestow on such their reward according to the best of their actions. |

আয়াতঃ ৯৭) |
| 93 |
আমি তাঁকে দুনিয়াতে দান করেছি কল্যাণ এবং তিনি পরকালেও সৎকর্মশীলদের অন্তর্ভূক্ত।
And We gave him Good in this world, and he will be, in the Hereafter, in the ranks of the Righteous. |

নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ তাদের সঙ্গে আছেন, যারা পরহেযগার এবং যারা সৎকর্ম করে।
For Allah is with those who restrain themselves, and those who do good. |
(নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ১২৮) |
| 95 |
এই কোরআন এমন পথ প্রদর্শন করে, যা সর্বাধিক সরল এবং সৎকর্ম পরায়ণ মুমিনদেরকে সুসংবাদ দেয় যে, তাদের জন্যে মহা পুরস্কার রয়েছে।
Verily this Qur'an doth guide to that which is most right (or stable), and giveth the Glad Tidings to the Believers who work deeds of righteousness, that they shall have a magnificent reward; |

আয়াতঃ ৯) |
| 96 |
যে কেউ সৎপথে চলে, তারা নিজের মঙ্গলের জন্যেই সৎ পথে চলে। আর যে পথভ্রষ্ট হয়, তারা নিজের অমঙ্গলের জন্যেই পথ ভ্রষ্ট হয়। কেউ অপরের বোঝা বহন করবে না। কোন রাসূল না পাঠানো পর্যন্ত আমি কাউকেই শাস্তি দান করি না।
Who receiveth guidance, receiveth it for his own benefit: who goeth astray doth so to his own loss: No bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another: nor would We visit with Our Wrath until We had sent an messenger (to give warning). |
(বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ১৫) |
| 97 |
তোমাদের পালনকর্তা তোমাদের মনে যা আছে তা ভালই জানেন। যদি তোমরা সৎ হও, তবে তিনি তওবাকারীদের জন্যে ক্ষমাশীল।
Your Lord knoweth best what is in your hearts: If ye do deeds of righteousness, verily He is Most Forgiving to those who turn to Him again and again (in true penitence). |
(বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ২৫) |
| 98 |
একে সুপ্রতিষ্ঠিত করেছেন যা আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে একটি ভীষণ বিপদের ভয় প্রদর্শন করে এবং মুমিনদেরকে যারা সৎকর্ম সম্পাদন করে-তাদেরকে সুসংবাদ দান করে যে, তাদের জন্যে উত্তম প্রতিদান রয়েছে।
(He hath made it) Straight (and Clear) in order that He may warn (the godless) of a terrible Punishment from Him, and that He may give Glad Tidings to the Believers who work righteous deeds, that they shall have a goodly Reward, |

আপনার কাছে তাদের ইতিবৃত্তান্ত সঠিকভাবে বর্ণনা করছি। তারা ছিল কয়েকজন যুবক। তারা তাদের পালনকর্তার প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছিল এবং আমি তাদের সৎপথে চলার শক্তি বাড়িয়ে দিয়েছিলাম।
We relate to thee their story in truth: they were youths who believed in their Lord, and We advanced them in guidance: |

তুমি সূর্যকে দেখবে, যখন উদিত হয়, তাদের গুহা থেকে পাশ কেটে ডান দিকে চলে যায় এবং যখন অস্ত যায়, তাদের থেকে পাশ কেটে বামদিকে চলে যায়, অথচ তারা গুহার প্রশস্ত চত্বরে অবস্থিত। এটা আল্লাহর নিদর্শনাবলীর অন্যতম। আল্লাহ যাকে সৎপথে চালান, সেই সৎপথ প্রাপ্ত এবং তিনি যাকে পথভ্রষ্ট করেন, আপনি কখনও তার জন্যে পথপ্রদর্শনকারী ও সাহায্যকারী পাবেন না।
Thou wouldst have seen the sun, when it rose, declining to the right from their Cave, and when it set, turning away from them to the left, while they lay in the open space in the midst of the Cave. Such are among the Signs of Allah: He whom Allah, guides is rightly guided; but he whom Allah leaves to stray,- for him wilt thou find no protector to lead him to the Right Way. |

আয়াতঃ ১৭) |

যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে এবং সৎকর্ম সম্পাদন করে আমি সৎকর্মশীলদের পুরস্কার নষ্ট করি না।
As to those who believe and work righteousness, verily We shall not suffer to perish the reward of any who do a (single) righteous deed. |

আয়াতঃ ৩০) |

ধনৈশ্বর্য ও সন্তান-সন্ততি পার্থিব জীবনের সৌন্দর্য এবং স্থায়ী সৎকর্মসমূহ আপনার পালনকর্তার কাছে প্রতিদান প্রাপ্তি ও আশা লাভের জন্যে উত্তম।
Wealth and sons are allurements of the life of this world: But the things that endure, good deeds, are best in the sight of thy Lord, as rewards, and best as (the foundation for) hopes. |

আয়াতঃ ৪৬) |

তার চাইতে অধিক জালেম কে, যাকে তার পালনকর্তার কালাম দ্বারা বোঝানো হয়, অতঃপর সে তা থেকে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয় এবং তার পূর্ববর্তী কৃতকর্মসমূহ ভুলে যায়? আমি তাদের অন্তরের উপর পর্দা রেখে দিয়েছি, যেন তা না বোঝে এবং তাদের কানে রয়েছে বধিরতার বোঝা। যদি আপনি তাদেরকে সৎপথের প্রতি দাওয়াত দেন, তবে কখনই তারা সৎপথে আসবে না।
And who doth more wrong than one who is reminded of the Signs of his Lord, but turns away from them, forgetting the (deeds) which his hands have sent forth? Verily We have set veils over their hearts lest they should understand this, and over their ears, deafness, if thou callest them to guidance, even then will they never accept guidance. |

প্রাচীরের ব্যাপার-সেটি ছিল নগরের দুজন পিতৃহীন বালকের। এর নীচে ছিল তাদের গুপ্তধন এবং তাদের পিতা ছিল সৎকর্ম পরায়ন। সুতরাং আপনার পালনকর্তা দায়বশতঃ ইচ্ছা করলেন যে, তারা যৌবনে পদার্পন করুক এবং নিজেদের গুপ্তধন উদ্ধার করুক। আমি নিজ মতে এটা করিনি। আপনি যে বিষয়ে ধৈর্য্যধারণ করতে অক্ষম হয়েছিলেন, এই হল তার ব্যাখ্যা।
"As for the wall, it belonged to two youths, orphans, in the Town; there was, beneath it, a buried treasure, to which they were entitled: their father had been a righteous man: So thy Lord desired that they should attain their age of full strength and get out their treasure - a mercy (and favour) from thy Lord. I did it not of my own accord. Such is the interpretation of (those things) over which thou wast unable to hold patience." |

এবং যে বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে ও সৎকর্ম করে তার জন্য প্রতিদান রয়েছে কল্যাণ এবং আমার কাজে তাকে সহজ নির্দেশ দেব।
"But whoever believes, and works righteousness,- he shall have a goodly reward, and easy will be his task as We order it by our Command." |

তারাই সে লোক, যাদের প্রচেষ্টা পার্থিবজীবনে বিভ্রান্ত হয়, অথচ তারা মনে করে যে, তারা সৎকর্ম করেছে।
"Those whose efforts have been wasted in this life, while they thought that they were acquiring good by their works?" |

যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে ও সৎকর্ম সম্পাদন করে, তাদের অভ্যর্থনার জন্যে আছে জান্নাতুল ফেরদাউস।
As to those who believe and work righteous deeds, they have, for their entertainment, the Gardens of Paradise, |

বলুনঃ আমি ও তোমাদের মতই একজন মানুষ, আমার প্রতি প্রত্যাদেশ হয় যে, তোমাদের ইলাহই একমাত্র ইলাহ। অতএব, যে ব্যক্তি তার পালনকর্তার সাক্ষাত কামনা করে, সে যেন, সৎকর্ম সম্পাদন করে এবং তার পালনকর্তার এবাদতে কাউকে শরীক না করে।
Say: "I am but a man like yourselves, (but) the inspiration has come to me, that your Allah is one Allah: whoever expects to meet his Lord, let him work righteousness, and, in the worship of his Lord, admit no one as partner. |

হে হারূণ-ভাগিনী, তোমার পিতা অসৎ ব্যক্তি ছিলেন না এবং তোমার মাতাও ছিল না ব্যভিচারিনী।
"O sister of Aaron! Thy father was not a man of evil, nor thy mother a woman unchaste!" |

যারা সৎপথে চলে আল্লাহ তাদের পথপ্রাপ্তি বৃদ্ধি করেন এবং স্থায়ী সৎকর্মসমূহ তোমার পালনকর্তার কাছে সওয়াবের দিক দিয়ে শ্রেষ্ঠ এবং প্রতিদান হিসেবেও শ্রেষ্ট।
"And Allah doth advance in guidance those who seek guidance: and the things that endure, Good Deeds, are best in the sight of thy Lord, as rewards, and best in respect of (their) eventual return." |

যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে এবং সৎকর্ম সম্পাদন করে, তাদেরকে দয়াময় আল্লাহ ভালবাসা দেবেন।
On those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, will (Allah) Most Gracious bestow love. |

অতএব তোমরা তার কাছে যাও এবং বলঃ আমরা উভয়েই তোমার পালনকর্তার প্রেরিত রসূল, অতএব আমাদের সাথে বনী ইসরাঈলকে যেতে দাও এবং তাদেরকে নিপীড়ন করো না। আমরা তোমার পালনকর্তার কাছ থেকে নিদর্শন নিয়ে তোমার কাছে আগমন করেছি। এবং যে সৎপথ অনুসরণ করে, তার প্রতি শান্তি।
"So go ye both to him, and say, 'Verily we are messengers sent by thy Lord: Send forth, therefore, the Children of Israel with us, and afflict them not: with a Sign, indeed, have we come from thy Lord! and peace to all who follow guidance! |

আর যারা তাঁর কাছে আসে এমন ঈমানদার হয়ে যায় সৎকর্ম সম্পাদন করেছে, তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে সুউচ্চ মর্তবা।
But such as come to Him as Believers who have worked righteous deeds,- for them are ranks exalted,- |

ফেরআউন তার সম্প্রদায়কে বিভ্রান্ত করেছিল এবং সৎপথ দেখায়নি।
Pharaoh led his people astray instead of leading them aright. |

আর যে তওবা করে, ঈমান আনে এবং সৎকর্ম করে অতঃপর সৎপথে অটল থাকে, আমি তার প্রতি অবশ্যই ক্ষমাশীল।
"But, without doubt, I am (also) He that forgives again and again, to those who repent, believe, and do right, who,- in fine, are ready to receive true guidance." |

যে ঈমানদার অবস্থায় সৎকর্ম সম্পাদন করে, সে জুলুম ও ক্ষতির আশঙ্কা করবে না।
But he who works deeds of righteousness, and has faith, will have no fear of harm nor of any curtailment (of what is his due). |

আমি এদের পূর্বে অনেক সম্প্রদায়কে ধবংস করেছি। যাদের বাসভুমিতে এরা বিচরণ করে, এটা কি এদেরকে সৎপথ প্রদর্শন করল না? নিশ্চয় এতে বুদ্ধিমানদের জন্যে নিদর্শনাবলী রয়েছে।
Is it not a warning to such men (to call to mind) how many generations before them We destroyed, in whose haunts they (now) move? Verily, in this are Signs for men endued with understanding. |

বলুন, প্রত্যেকেই পথপানে চেয়ে আছে, সুতরাং তোমরাও পথপানে চেয়ে থাক। অদূর ভবিষ্যতে তোমরা জানতে পারবে কে সরল পথের পথিক এবং কে সৎপথ প্রাপ্ত হয়েছে।
Say: "Each one (of us) is waiting: wait ye, therefore, and soon shall ye know who it is that is on the straight and even way, and who it is that has received Guidance." |

আর, আমি ইতিপূর্বে ইব্রাহীমকে তার সৎপন্থা দান করেছিলাম এবং আমি তার সম্পর্কে সম্যক পরিজ্ঞাত ও ছিলাম।
We bestowed aforetime on Abraham his rectitude of conduct, and well were We acquainted with him. |

আমি তাকে দান করলাম ইসহাক ও পুরস্কার স্বরূপ দিলাম ইয়াকুব এবং প্রত্যেককেই সৎকর্ম পরায়ণ করলাম।
And We bestowed on him Isaac and, as an additional gift, (a grandson), Jacob, and We made righteous men of every one (of them). |

আমি তাঁদেরকে নেতা করলাম। তাঁরা আমার নির্দেশ অনুসারে পথ প্রদর্শন করতেন। আমি তাঁদের প্রতি ওহী নাযিল করলাম সৎকর্ম করার, নামায কায়েম করার এবং যাকাত দান করার। তাঁরা আমার এবাদতে ব্যাপৃত ছিল।
And We made them leaders, guiding (men) by Our Command, and We sent them inspiration to do good deeds, to establish regular prayers, and to practise regular charity; and they constantly served Us (and Us only). |

আমি তাকে আমার অনুগ্রহের অন্তর্ভুক্ত করেছিলাম। সে ছিল সৎকর্মশীলদের একজন।
And We admitted him to Our Mercy: for he was one of the Righteous. |

আমি তাঁদেরকে আমার রহমাতপ্রাপ্তদের অন্তর্ভূক্ত করেছিলাম। তাঁরা ছিলেন সৎকর্মপরায়ণ।
We admitted them to Our mercy: for they were of the righteous ones. |

আয়াতঃ ৮৬) |

অতঃপর আমি তার দোয়া কবুল করেছিলাম, তাকে দান করেছিলাম ইয়াহইয়া এবং তার জন্যে তার স্ত্রীকে প্রসব যোগ্য করেছিলাম। তারা সৎকর্মে ঝাঁপিয়ে পড়ত, তারা আশা ও ভীতি সহকারে আমাকে ডাকত এবং তারা ছিল আমার কাছে বিনীত।
So We listened to him: and We granted him Yahya: We cured his wife's (Barrenness) for him. These (three) were ever quick in emulation in good works; they used to call on Us with love and reverence, and humble themselves before Us. |

আয়াতঃ ৯০) |

অতঃপর যে বিশ্বাসী অবস্থায় সৎকর্ম সম্পাদন করে, তার প্রচেষ্টা অস্বীকৃত হবে না এবং আমি তা লিপিবদ্ধ করে রাখি।
Whoever works any act of righteousness and has faith,- His endeavour will not be rejected: We shall record it in his favour. |

আমি উপদেশের পর যবুরে লিখে দিয়েছি যে, আমার সৎকর্মপরায়ণ বান্দাগণ অবশেষে পৃথিবীর অধিকারী হবে।
Before this We wrote in the Psalms, after the Message (given to Moses): My servants the righteous, shall inherit the earth." |

যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে ও সৎকর্ম সম্পাদন করে, আল্লাহ তাদেরকে জান্নাতে দাখিল করবেন, যার তলদেশ দিয়ে নির্ঝরণীসমূহ প্রবাহিত হয়। আল্লাহ যা ইচ্ছা তাই করেন।
Verily Allah will admit those who believe and work righteous deeds, to Gardens, beneath which rivers flow: for Allah carries out all that He plans. |
(হাজ্জ্ব:
আয়াতঃ ১৪) |

নিশ্চয় যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে এবং সৎকর্ম করে, আল্লাহ তাদেরকে দাখিল করবেন উদ্যান সমূহে, যার তলদেশ দিয়ে নির্ঝরিণীসমূহ প্রবাহিত হবে। তাদেরকে তথায় স্বর্ণ-কংকন ও মুক্তা দ্বারা অলংকৃত করা হবে এবং তথায় তাদের পোশাক হবে রেশমী।
Allah will admit those who believe and work righteous deeds, to Gardens beneath which rivers flow: they shall be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and pearls; and their garments there will be of silk. |
(হাজ্জ্ব:
আয়াতঃ ২৩) |

তারা পথপ্রদর্শিত হয়েছিল সৎবাক্যের দিকে এবং পরিচালিত হয়েছিল প্রশংসিত আল্লাহর পথপানে।
For they have been guided (in this life) to the purest of speeches; they have been guided to the Path of Him Who is Worthy of (all) Praise. |
(হাজ্জ্ব:
আয়াতঃ ২৪) |

এগুলোর গোশত ও রক্ত আল্লাহর কাছে পৌঁছে না, কিন্তু পৌঁছে তাঁর কাছে তোমাদের মনের তাকওয়া। এমনিভাবে তিনি এগুলোকে তোমাদের বশ করে দিয়েছেন, যাতে তোমরা আল্লাহর মহত্ত্ব ঘোষণা কর এ কারণে যে, তিনি তোমাদের পথ প্রদর্শন করেছেন। সুতরাং সৎকর্মশীলদের সুসংবাদ শুনিয়ে দিন।
It is not their meat nor their blood, that reaches Allah: it is your piety that reaches Him: He has thus made them subject to you, that ye may glorify Allah for His Guidance to you and proclaim the good news to all who do right. |
(হাজ্জ্ব:
আয়াতঃ ৩৭) |

তারা এমন লোক যাদেরকে আমি পৃথিবীতে শক্তি-সামর্থ?2470;ান করলে তারা নামায কায়েম করবে, যাকাত দেবে এবং সৎকাজে আদেশ ও অসৎকাজে নিষেধ করবে। প্রত্যেক কর্মের পরিণাম আল্লাহর এখতিয়ারভূক্ত।
(They are) those who, if We establish them in the land, establish regular prayer and give regular charity, enjoin the right and forbid wrong: with Allah rests the end (and decision) of (all) affairs. |
(হাজ্জ্ব:
আয়াতঃ ৪১) |

সুতরাং যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছে এবং সৎকর্ম করেছে, তাদের জন্যে আছে পাপ মার্জনা এবং সম্মানজনক রুযী।
"Those who believe and work righteousness, for them is forgiveness and a sustenance most generous. |
(হাজ্জ্ব:
আয়াতঃ ৫০) |

রাজত্ব সেদিন আল্লাহরই; তিনিই তাদের বিচার করবেন। অতএব যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে এবং সৎকর্ম সম্পাদন করে তারা নেয়ামত পূর্ণ কাননে থাকবে।
On that Day of Dominion will be that of Allah: He will judge between them: so those who believe and work righteous deeds will be in Gardens of Delight. |

আয়াতঃ ৫৬) |

হে মুমিনগণ! তোমরা রুকু কর, সেজদা কর, তোমাদের পালনকর্তার এবাদত কর এবং সৎকাজ সম্পাদন কর, যাতে তোমরা সফলকাম হতে পার।
O ye who believe! bow down, prostrate yourselves, and adore your Lord; and do good; that ye may prosper. |

আমি মূসাকে কিতাব দিয়েছিলাম যাতে তারা সৎপথ পায়।
And We gave Moses the Book, in order that they might receive guidance. |
(আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ৪৯) |

হে রসূলগণ, পবিত্র বস্তু আহার করুন এবং সৎকাজ করুন। আপনারা যা করেন সে বিষয়ে আমি পরিজ্ঞাত।
O ye messengers! enjoy (all) things good and pure, and work righteousness: for I am well-acquainted with (all) that ye do. |
(আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ৫১) |

যাতে আমি সৎকর্ম করতে পারি, যা আমি করিনি। কখনই নয়, এ তো তার একটি কথার কথা মাত্র। তাদের সামনে পর্দা আছে পুনরুত্থান দিবস পর্যন্ত।
"In order that I may work righteousness in the things I neglected." - "By no means! It is but a word he says."- Before them is a Partition till the Day they are raised up. |
(আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ১০০) |

তোমাদের মধ্যে যারা বিবাহহীন, তাদের বিবাহ সম্পাদন করে দাও এবং তোমাদের দাস ও দাসীদের মধ্যে যারা সৎকর্মপরায়ন, তাদেরও। তারা যদি নিঃস্ব হয়, তবে আল্লাহ নিজ অনুগ্রহে তাদেরকে সচ্ছল করে দেবেন। আল্লাহ প্রাচুর্যময়, সর্বজ্ঞ।
Marry those among you who are single, or the virtuous ones among yourselves, male or female: if they are in poverty, Allah will give them means out of His grace: for Allah encompasseth all, and he knoweth all things. |
(আন-নূর:
আয়াতঃ ৩২) |

বলুনঃ আল্লাহর আনুগত্য কর এবং রসূলের আনুগত্য কর। অতঃপর যদি তোমরা মুখ ফিরিয়ে নাও, তবে তার উপর ন্যস্ত দায়িত্বের জন্যে সে দায়ী এবং তোমাদের উপর ন্যস্ত দায়িত্বের জন্যে তোমরা দায়ী। তোমরা যদি তাঁর আনুগত্য কর, তবে সৎ পথ পাবে। রসূলের দায়িত্ব তো কেবল সুস্পষ্টরূপে পৌছে দেয়া।
Say: "Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger: but if ye turn away, he is only responsible for the duty placed on him and ye for that placed on you. If ye obey him, ye shall be on right guidance. The Messenger's duty is only to preach the clear (Message). |
(আন-নূর:
আয়াতঃ ৫৪) |

তোমাদের মধ্যে যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে ও সৎকর্ম করে, আল্লাহ তাদেরকে ওয়াদা দিয়েছেন যে, তাদেরকে অবশ্যই পৃথিবীতে শাসনকর্তৃত্ব দান করবেন। যেমন তিনি শাসনকতৃꦣ2468;্ব দান করেছেন তাদের পূর্ববতীদেরকে এবং তিনি অবশ্যই সুদৃঢ় করবেন তাদের ধর্মকে, যা তিনি তাদের জন্যে পছন্দ করেছেন এবং তাদের ভয়-ভীতির পরিবর্তে অবশ্যই তাদেরকে শান্তি দান করবেন। তারা আমার এবাদত করবে এবং আমার সাথে কাউকে শরীক করবে না। এরপর যারা অকৃতজ্ঞ হবে, তারাই অবাধ্য।
Allah has promised, to those among you who believe and work righteous deeds, that He will, of a surety, grant them in the land, inheritance (of power), as He granted it to those before them; that He will establish in authority their religion - the one which He has chosen for them; and that He will change (their state), after the fear in which they (lived), to one of security and peace: 'They will worship Me (alone) and not associate aught with Me. 'If any do reject Faith after this, they are rebellious and wicked. |
(আন-নূর:
আয়াতঃ ৫৫) |

কিন্তু যারা তওবা করে বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে এবং সৎকর্ম করে, আল্লাহ তাদের গোনাহকে পুন্য দ্বারা পরিবর্তত করে এবং দেবেন। আল্লাহ ক্ষমাশীল, পরম দয়ালু।
Unless he repents, believes, and works righteous deeds, for Allah will change the evil of such persons into good, and Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful, |
(আল-ফুরকান:
আয়াতঃ ৭০) |

যে তওবা করে ও সৎকর্ম করে, সে ফিরে আসার স্থান আল্লাহর দিকে ফিরে আসে।
And whoever repents and does good has truly turned to Allah with an (acceptable) conversion;- |
(আল-ফুরকান:
আয়াতঃ ৭১) |

হে আমার পালনকর্তা, আমাকে প্রজ্ঞা দান কর এবং আমাকে সৎকর্মশীলদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত কর
"O my Lord! bestow wisdom on me, and join me with the righteous; |
(আশ-শো'আরা:
আয়াতঃ ৮৩) |

তবে তাদের কথা ভিন্ন, যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে ও সৎকর্ম করে এবং আল্লাহ কে খুব স্মরণ করে এবং নিপীড়িত হওয়ার পর প্রতিশোধ গ্রহণ করে। নিপীড়নকারীরা শীঘ্রই জানতে পারবে তাদের গন্তব্যস্থল কিরূপ।
Except those who believe, work righteousness, engage much in the remembrance of Allah, and defend themselves only after they are unjustly attacked. And soon will the unjust assailants know what vicissitudes their affairs will take! |
(আশ-শো'আরা:
আয়াতঃ ২২৭) |

তবে যে বাড়াবাড়ি করে এরপর মন্দ কর্মের পরিবর্তে সৎকর্ম করে। নিশ্চয় আমি ক্ষমাশীল, পরম দয়ালু।
"But if any have done wrong and have thereafter substituted good to take the place of evil, truly, I am Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. |

তার কথা শুনে সুলায়মান মুচকি হাসলেন এবং বললেন, হে আমার পালনকর্তা, তুমি আমাকে সামর্থ?2470;াও যাতে আমি তোমার সেই নিয়ামতের কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করতে পারি, যা তুমি আমাকে ও আমার পিতা-মাতাকে দান করেছ এবং যাতে আমি তোমার পছন্দনীয় সৎকর্ম করতে পারি এবং আমাকে নিজ অনুগ্রহে তোমার সৎকর্মপরায়ন বান্দাদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত কর।
So he smiled, amused at her speech; and he said: "O my Lord! so order me that I may be grateful for Thy favours, which thou hast bestowed on me and on my parents, and that I may work the righteousness that will please Thee: And admit me, by Thy Grace, to the ranks of Thy righteous Servants." |

আয়াতঃ ১৯) |

আমি তাকে ও তার সম্প্রদায়কে দেখলাম তারা আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে সূর্যকে সেজদা করছে। শয়তান তাদের দৃষ্টিতে তাদের কার্যাবলী সুশোভিত করে দিয়েছে। অতঃপর তাদেরকে সৎপথ থেকে নিবৃত্ত করেছে। অতএব তারা সৎপথ পায় না।
"I found her and her people worshipping the sun besides Allah: Satan has made their deeds seem pleasing in their eyes, and has kept them away from the Path,- so they receive no guidance,- |

আয়াতঃ ২৪) |

আপনি অন্ধদেরকে তাদের পথভ্রষ্টতা থেকে ফিরিয়ে সৎপথে আনতে পারবেন না। আপনি কেবল তাদেরকে শোনাতে পারবেন, যারা আমার আয়াতসমূহে বিশ্বাস করে। অতএব, তারাই আজ্ঞাবহ।
Nor canst thou be a guide to the blind, (to prevent them) from straying: only those wilt thou get to listen who believe in Our Signs, and they will bow in Islam. |

আয়াতঃ ৮১) |
| 149 |
যে কেউ সৎকর্ম নিয়ে আসবে, সে উৎকৃষ্টতর প্রতিদান পাবে এবং সেদিন তারা গুরুতর অস্থিরতা থেকে নিরাপদ থাকবে।
If any do good, good will (accrue) to them therefrom; and they will be secure from terror that Day. |

আয়াতঃ ৮৯) |

এবং যেন আমি কোরআন পাঠ করে শোনাই। পর যে ব্যক্তি সৎপথে চলে, সে নিজের কল্যাণার্থেই সৎপথে চলে এবং কেউ পথভ্রষ্ট হলে আপনি বলে দিন, আমি তো কেবল একজন ভীতি প্রদর্শনকারী।
And to rehearse the Qur'an: and if any accept guidance, they do it for the good of their own souls, and if any stray, say: "I am only a Warner". |

আয়াতঃ ৯২) |

যখন মূসা যৌবনে পদার্পন করলেন এবং পরিণত বয়স্ক হয়ে গেলেন, তখন আমি তাঁকে প্রজ্ঞা ও জ্ঞানদান করলাম। এমনিভাবে আমি সৎকর্মীদেরকে প্রতিদান দিয়ে থাকি।
When he reached full age, and was firmly established (in life), We bestowed on him wisdom and knowledge: for thus do We reward those who do good. |

পিতা মূসাকে বললেন, আমি আমার এই কন্যাদ্বয়ের একজনকে তোমার সাথে বিবাহে দিতে চাই এই শর্তে যে, তুমি আট বছর আমার চাকুরী করবে, যদি তুমি দশ বছর পূর্ণ কর, তা তোমার ইচ্ছা। আমি তোমাকে কষ্ট দিতে চাই না। আল্লাহ চাহেন তো তুমি আমাকে সৎকর্মপরায়ণ পাবে।
He said: "I intend to wed one of these my daughters to thee, on condition that thou serve me for eight years; but if thou complete ten years, it will be (grace) from thee. But I intend not to place thee under a difficulty: thou wilt find me, indeed, if Allah wills, one of the righteous." |

আপনি যাকে পছন্দ করেন, তাকে সৎপথে আনতে পারবেন না, তবে আল্লাহ তা’আলাই যাকে ইচ্ছা সৎপথে আনয়ন করেন। কে সৎপথে আসবে, সে সম্পর্কে তিনিই ভাল জানেন।
It is true thou wilt not be able to guide every one, whom thou lovest; but Allah guides those whom He will and He knows best those who receive guidance. |
(আল কাসাস:
আয়াতঃ ৫৬) |

বলা হবে, তোমরা তোমাদের শরীকদের আহবান কর। তখন তারা ডাকবে,। অতঃপর তারা তাদের ডাকে সাড়া দিবে না এবং তারা আযাব দেখবে। হায়! তারা যদি সৎপথ প্রাপ্ত হত।
It will be said (to them): "Call upon your 'partners' (for help)": they will call upon them, but they will not listen to them; and they will see the Penalty (before them); (how they will wish) 'if only they had been open to guidance!' |

তবে যে তওবা করে, বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে ও সৎকর্ম করে, আশা করা যায়, সে সফলকাম হবে।
But any that (in this life) had repented, believed, and worked righteousness, will have hopes to be among those who achieve salvation. |

আর যারা জ্ঞান প্রাপ্ত হয়েছিল, তার বলল, ধিক তোমাদেরকে, যারা ঈমানদার এবং সৎকর্মী, তাদের জন্যে আল্লাহর দেয়া সওয়াবই উৎকৃষ্ট। এটা তারাই পায়, যারা সবরকারী।
But those who had been granted (true) knowledge said: "Alas for you! The reward of Allah (in the Hereafter) is best for those who believe and work righteousness: but this none shall attain, save those who steadfastly persevere (in good)." |

যে সৎকর্ম নিয়ে আসবে, সে তদপেক্ষা উত্তম ফল পাবে এবং যে মন্দ কর্ম নিয়ে আসবে, এরূপ মন্দ কর্মীরা সে মন্দ কর্ম পরিমানেই প্রতিফল পাবে।
If any does good, the reward to him is better than his deed; but if any does evil, the doers of evil are only punished (to the extent) of their deeds. |

আর যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে ও সৎকর্ম করে, আমি অবশ্যই তাদের মন্দ কাজ গুলো মিটিয়ে দেব এবং তাদেরকে কর্মের উৎকৃষ্টতর প্রতিদান দেব।
Those who believe and work righteous deeds,- from them shall We blot out all evil (that may be) in them, and We shall reward them according to the best of their deeds. |

যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে ও সৎকাজ করে, আমি অবশ্যই তাদেরকে সৎকর্মীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত করব।
And those who believe and work righteous deeds,- them shall We admit to the company of the Righteous. |

আমি তাকে দান করলাম ইসহাক ও ইয়াকুব, তাঁর বংশধরদের মধ্যে নবুওয়ত ও কিতাব রাখলাম এবং দুনিয়াতে তাঁকে পুরস্কৃত করলাম। নিশ্চয় পরকালে ও সে সৎলোকদর অন্তর্ভূক্ত হবে।
And We gave (Abraham) Isaac and Jacob, and ordained among his progeny Prophethood and Revelation, and We granted him his reward in this life; and he was in the Hereafter (of the company) of the Righteous. |

আমি আ’দ ও সামুদকে ধ্বংস করে দিয়েছি। তাদের বাড়ী-ঘর থেকেই তাদের অবস্থা তোমাদের জানা হয়ে গেছে। শয়তান তাদের কর্মকে তাদের দৃষ্টিতে সুশোভিত করেছিল, অতঃপর তাদেরকে সৎপথ অবলম্বনে বাধা দিয়েছিল এবং তারা ছিল হুশিয়ার।
(Remember also) the 'Ad and the Thamud (people): clearly will appear to you from (the traces) of their buildings (their fate): the Evil One made their deeds alluring to them, and kept them back from the Path, though they were gifted with intelligence and skill. |

আয়াতঃ ৩৮) |

যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে ও সৎকর্ম করে, আমি অবশ্যই তাদেরকে জান্নাতের সুউচ্চ প্রাসাদে স্থান দেব, যার তলদেশে প্রস্রবণসমূহ প্রবাহিত। সেখানে তারা চিরকাল থাকবে। কত উত্তম পুরস্কার কর্মীদের।
But those who believe and work deeds of righteousness - to them shall We give a Home in Heaven,- lofty mansions beneath which flow rivers,- to dwell therein for aye;- an excellent reward for those who do (good)!- |

যারা আমার পথে সাধনায় আত্মনিয়োগ করে, আমি অবশ্যই তাদেরকে আমার পথে পরিচালিত করব। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সৎকর্মপরায়ণদের সাথে আছেন।
And those who strive in Our (cause),- We will certainly guide them to our Paths: For verily Allah is with those who do right. |

যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছে ও সৎকর্ম করেছে, তারা জান্নাতে সমাদৃত হবে;
Then those who have believed and worked righteous deeds, shall be made happy in a Mead of Delight. |

যে কুফরী করে, তার কফুরের জন্যে সে-ই দায়ী এবং যে সৎকর্ম করে, তারা নিজেদের পথই শুধরে নিচ্ছে।
Those who reject Faith will suffer from that rejection: and those who work righteousness will spread their couch (of repose) for themselves (in heaven): |

যারা বিশ্বাস করেছে ও সৎকর্ম করেছে যাতে, আল্লাহ তা’আলা তাদেরকে নিজ অনুগ্রহে প্রতিদান দেন। নিশ্চয় তিনি কাফেরদের ভালবাসেন না।
That He may reward those who believe and work righteous deeds, out of his Bounty. For He loves not those who reject Faith. |

A Guide and a Mercy to the Doers of Good,- |

যারা ঈমান আনে আর সৎকাজ করে তাদের জন্য রয়েছে নেয়ামতে ভরা জান্নাত।
For those who believe and work righteous deeds, there will be Gardens of Bliss,- |

হে বৎস, নামায কায়েম কর, সৎকাজে আদেশ দাও, মন্দকাজে নিষেধ কর এবং বিপদাপদে সবর কর। নিশ্চয় এটা সাহসিকতার কাজ।
"O my son! establish regular prayer, enjoin what is just, and forbid what is wrong: and bear with patient constancy whatever betide thee; for this is firmness (of purpose) in (the conduct of) affairs. |

যে ব্যক্তি সৎকর্মপরায়ণ হয়ে স্বীয় মুখমন্ডলকে আল্লাহ অভিমূখী করে, সে এক মজবুত হাতল ধারণ করে, সকল কর্মের পরিণাম আল্লাহর দিকে।
Whoever submits his whole self to Allah, and is a doer of good, has grasped indeed the most trustworthy hand-hold: and with Allah rests the End and Decision of (all) affairs. |

আয়াতঃ ২২) |

যদি আপনি দেখতেন যখন অপরাধীরা তাদের পালনকর্তার সামনে নতশির হয়ে বলবে, হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা, আমরা দেখলাম ও শ্রবণ করলাম। এখন আমাদেরকে পাঠিয়ে দিন, আমরা সৎকর্ম করব। আমরা দৃঢ়বিশ্বাসী হয়ে গেছি।
If only thou couldst see when the guilty ones will bend low their heads before their Lord, (saying:) "Our Lord! We have seen and we have heard: Now then send us back (to the world): we will work righteousness: for we do indeed (now) believe." |

যারা ঈমান আনে ও সৎকর্ম করে, তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে তাদের কৃতকর্মের আপ্যায়নস্বরূপ বসবাসের জান্নাত।
For those who believe and do righteous deeds are Gardens as hospitable homes, for their (good) deeds. |

পক্ষান্তরে যদি তোমরা আল্লাহ, তাঁর রসূল ও পরকাল কামনা কর, তবে তোমাদের সৎকর্মপরায়ণদের জন্য আল্লাহ মহা পুরস্কার প্রস্তুত করে রেখেছেন।
But if ye seek Allah and His Messenger, and the Home of the Hereafter, verily Allah has prepared for the well-doers amongst you a great reward. |
(আল আহযাব:

তোমাদের মধ্যে যে কেউ আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূলের অনুগত হবে এবং সৎকর্ম করবে, আমি তাকে দুবার পুরস্কার দেব এবং তার জন্য আমি সম্মান জনক রিযিক প্রস্তুত রেখেছি।
But any of you that is devout in the service of Allah and His Messenger, and works righteousness,- to her shall We grant her reward twice: and We have prepared for her a generous Sustenance. |

তিনি পরিণামে যারা মুমিন ও সৎকর্ম পরায়ণ, তাদেরকে প্রতিদান দেবেন। তাদের জন্য রয়েছে ক্ষমা ও সম্মান জনক রিযিক।
That He may reward those who believe and work deeds of righteousness: for such is Forgiveness and a Sustenance Most Generous." |

এবং তাকে আমি বলে ছিলাম, প্রশস্ত বর্ম তৈরী কর, কড়াসমূহ যথাযথভাবে সংযুক্ত কর এবং সৎকর্ম সম্পাদন কর। তোমরা যা কিছু কর, আমি তা দেখি।
(Commanding), "Make thou coast of mail, balancing well the rings of chain armour, and work ye righteousness; for be sure I see (clearly) all that ye do." |

বলুন, নভোমন্ডল ও ভূ-মন্ডল থেকে কে তোমাদের কে রিযিক দেয়। বলুন, আল্লাহ। আমরা অথবা তোমরা সৎপথে অথবা স্পষ্ট বিভ্রান্তিতে আছি ও আছ?
Say: "Who gives you sustenance, from the heavens and the earth?" Say: "It is Allah; and certain it is that either we or ye are on right guidance or in manifest error!" |

আয়াতঃ ২৪) |

তোমাদের ধন-সম্পদ ও সন্তান-সন্ততি তোমাদেরকে আমার নিকটবর্তী করবে না। তবে যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে ও সৎকর্ম করে, তারা তাদের কর্মের বহুগুণ প্রতিদান পাবে এবং তারা সুউচ্চ প্রাসাদে নিরাপদে থাকবে।
It is not your wealth nor your sons, that will bring you nearer to Us in degree: but only those who believe and work righteousness - these are the ones for whom there is a multiplied Reward for their deeds, while secure they (reside) in the dwellings on high! |

বলুন, আমি পথভ্রষ্ট হলে নিজের ক্ষতির জন্যেই পথভ্রষ্ট হব; আর যদি আমি সৎপথ প্রাপ্ত হই, তবে তা এ জন্যে যে, আমার পালনকর্তা আমার প্রতি ওহী প্রেরণ করেন। নিশ্চয় তিনি সর্বশ্রোতা, নিকটবর্তী।
Say: "If I am astray, I only stray to the loss of my own soul: but if I receive guidance, it is because of the inspiration of my Lord to me: it is He Who hears all things, and is (ever) near." |

আয়াতঃ ৫০) |

যারা কুফর করে তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে কঠোর আযাব। আর যারা ঈমান আনে ও সৎকর্ম করে, তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে ক্ষমা ও মহা পুরস্কার।
For those who reject Allah, is a terrible Penalty: but for those who believe and work righteous deeds, is Forgiveness, and a magnificent Reward. |

যাকে মন্দকর্ম শোভনীয় করে দেখানো হয়, সে তাকে উত্তম মনে করে, সে কি সমান যে মন্দকে মন্দ মনে করে। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ যাকে ইচ্ছা পথভ্রষ্ট করেন এবং যাকে ইচছা সৎপথ প্রদর্শন করেন। সুতরাং আপনি তাদের জন্যে অনুতাপ করে নিজেকে ধ্বংস করবেন না। নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ জানেন তারা যা করে।
Is he, then, to whom the evil of his conduct is made alluring, so that he looks upon it as good, (equal to one who is rightly guided)? For Allah leaves to stray whom He wills, and guides whom He wills. So let not thy soul go out in (vainly) sighing after them: for Allah knows well all that they do! |

আয়াতঃ ৮) |

কেউ সম্মান চাইলে জেনে রাখুন, সমস্ত সম্মান আল্লাহরই জন্যে। তাঁরই দিকে আরোহণ করে সৎবাক্য এবং সৎকর্ম তাকে তুলে নেয়। যারা মন্দ কার্যের চক্রান্তে লেগে থাকে, তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে কঠোর শাস্তি। তাদের চক্রান্ত ব্যর্থ হবে।
If any do seek for glory and power,- to Allah belong all glory and power. To Him mount up (all) Words of Purity: It is He Who exalts each Deed of Righteousness. Those that lay Plots of Evil,- for them is a Penalty terrible; and the plotting of such will be void (of result). |

আয়াতঃ ১০) |

সেখানে তারা আর্ত চিৎকার করে বলবে, হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা, বের করুন আমাদেরকে, আমরা সৎকাজ করব, পূর্বে যা করতাম, তা করব না। (আল্লাহ বলবেন) আমি কি তোমাদেরকে এতটা বয়স দেইনি, যাতে যা চিন্তা করার বিষয় চিন্তা করতে পারতে? উপরন্তু তোমাদের কাছে সতর্ককারীও আগমন করেছিল। অতএব আস্বাদন কর। জালেমদের জন্যে কোন সাহায্যকারী নেই।
Therein will they cry aloud (for assistance): "Our Lord! Bring us out: we shall work righteousness, not the (deeds) we used to do!" - "Did We not give you long enough life so that he that would should receive admonition? and (moreover) the warner came to you. So taste ye (the fruits of your deeds): for the wrong-doers there is no helper." |

আয়াতঃ ৩৭) |

তারা জোর শপথ করে বলত, তাদের কাছে কোন সতর্ককারী আগমন করলে তারা অন্য যে কোন সম্প্রদায় অপেক্ষা অধিকতর সৎপথে চলবে। অতঃপর যখন তাদের কাছে সতর্ককারী আগমন করল, তখন তাদের ঘৃণাই কেবল বেড়ে গেল।
They swore their strongest oaths by Allah that if a warner came to them, they would follow his guidance better than any (other) of the Peoples: But when a warner came to them, it has only increased their flight (from righteousness),- |

আমি এভাবেই সৎকর্ম পরায়নদেরকে পুরস্কৃত করে থাকি।
Thus indeed do we reward those who do right. |

হে আমার পরওয়ারদেগার! আমাকে এক সৎপুত্র দান কর।
"O my Lord! Grant me a righteous (son)!" |

তুমি তো স্বপ্নকে সত্যে পরিণত করে দেখালে! আমি এভাবেই সৎকর্মীদেরকে প্রতিদান দিয়ে থাকি।
"Thou hast already fulfilled the vision!" - thus indeed do We reward those who do right. |

আমি তাকে সুসংবাদ দিয়েছি ইসহাকের, সে সৎকর্মীদের মধ্য থেকে একজন নবী।
And We gave him the good news of Isaac - a prophet,- one of the Righteous. |

তাকে এবং ইসহাককে আমি বরকত দান করেছি। তাদের বংশধরদের মধ্যে কতক সৎকর্মী এবং কতক নিজেদের উপর স্পষ্ট জুলুমকারী।
We blessed him and Isaac: but of their progeny are (some) that do right, and (some) that obviously do wrong, to their own souls. |

এভাবে আমি সৎকর্মীদেরকে প্রতিদান দিয়ে থাকি।
Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. |

দাউদ বললঃ সে তোমার দুম্বাটিকে নিজের দুম্বাগুলোর সাথে সংযুক্ত করার দাবী করে তোমার প্রতি অবিচার করেছে। শরীকদের অনেকেই একে অপরের প্রতি জুলুম করে থাকে। তবে তারা করে না, যারা আল্লাহর প্রতি বিশ্বাসী ও সৎকর্ম সম্পাদনকারী। অবশ্য এমন লোকের সংখ্যা অল্প। দাউদের খেয়াল হল যে, আমি তাকে পরীক্ষা করছি। অতঃপর সে তার পালনকর্তার কাছে ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা করল, সেজদায় লুটিয়ে পড়ল এবং তাঁর দিকে প্রত্যাবর্তন করল।
(David) said: "He has undoubtedly wronged thee in demanding thy (single) ewe to be added to his (flock of) ewes: truly many are the partners (in business) who wrong each other: Not so do those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, and how few are they?"... and David gathered that We had tried him: he asked forgiveness of his Lord, fell down, bowing (in prostration), and turned (to Allah in repentance). |

আমি কি বিশ্বাসী ও সৎকর্মীদেরকে পৃথিবীতে বিপর্যয় সৃষ্টিকারী কাফেরদের সমতুল্য করে দেব? না খোদাভীরুদেরকে পাপাচারীদের সম্মান করে দেব।
Shall We treat those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, the same as those who do mischief on earth? Shall We treat those who guard against evil, the same as those who turn aside from the right? |

আর তারা আমার কাছে মনোনীত ও সৎলোকদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত।
They were, in Our sight, truly, of the company of the Elect and the Good. |

জেনে রাখুন, নিষ্ঠাপূর্ণ এবাদত আল্লাহরই নিমিত্ত। যারা আল্লাহ ব্যতীত অপরকে উপাস্যরূপে গ্রহণ করে রেখেছে এবং বলে যে, আমরা তাদের এবাদত এ জন্যেই করি, যেন তারা আমাদেরকে আল্লাহর নিকটবর্তী করে দেয়। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ তাদের মধ্যে তাদের পারস্পরিক বিরোধপূর্ণ বিষয়ের ফয়সালা করে দেবেন। আল্লাহ মিথ্যাবাদী কাফেরকে সৎপথে পরিচালিত করেন না।
Is it not to Allah that sincere devotion is due? But those who take for protectors other than Allah (say): "We only serve them in order that they may bring us nearer to Allah." Truly Allah will judge between them in that wherein they differ. But Allah guides not such as are false and ungrateful. |

আয়াতঃ ৩) |

বলুন, হে আমার বিশ্বাসী বান্দাগণ! তোমরা তোমাদের পালনকর্তাকে ভয় কর। যারা এ দুনিয়াতে সৎকাজ করে, তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে পুণ্য। আল্লাহর পৃথিবী প্রশস্ত। যারা সবরকারী, তারাই তাদের পুরস্কার পায় অগণিত।
Say: "O ye my servants who believe! Fear your Lord, good is (the reward) for those who do good in this world. Spacious is Allah's earth! those who patiently persevere will truly receive a reward without measure!" |

আয়াতঃ ১০) |

যারা মনোনিবেশ সহকারে কথা শুনে, অতঃপর যা উত্তম, তার অনুসরণ করে। তাদেরকেই আল্লাহ সৎপথ প্রদর্শন করেন এবং তারাই বুদ্ধিমান।
Those who listen to the Word, and follow the best (meaning) in it: those are the ones whom Allah has guided, and those are the ones endued with understanding. |

তাদের জন্যে পালনকর্তার কাছে তাই রয়েছে, যা তারা চাইবে। এটা সৎকর্মীদের পুরস্কার।
They shall have all that they wish for, in the presence of their Lord: such is the reward of those who do good: |

আমি আপনার প্রতি সত্য ধর্মসহ কিতাব নাযিল করেছি মানুষের কল্যাণকল্পে। অতঃপর যে সৎপথে আসে, সে নিজের কল্যাণের জন্যেই আসে, আর যে পথভ্রষ্ট হয়, সে নিজেরই অনিষ্টের জন্যে পথভ্রষ্ট হয়। আপনি তাদের জন্যে দায়ী নন।
Verily We have revealed the Book to thee in Truth, for (instructing) mankind. He, then, that receives guidance benefits his own soul: but he that strays injures his own soul. Nor art thou set over them to dispose of their affairs. |

অথবা আযাব প্রত্যক্ষ করার সময় না বলে, যদি কোনরূপে একবার ফিরে যেতে পারি, তবে আমি সৎকর্মপরায়ণ হয়ে যাব।
"Or (lest) it should say when it (actually) sees the penalty: 'If only I had another chance, I should certainly be among those who do good!' |

হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা, আর তাদেরকে দাখিল করুন চিরকাল বসবাসের জান্নাতে, যার ওয়াদা আপনি তাদেরকে দিয়েছেন এবং তাদের বাপ-দাদা, পতি-পত্নী ও সন্তানদের মধ্যে যারা সৎকর্ম করে তাদেরকে। নিশ্চয় আপনি পরাক্রমশালী, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
"And grant, our Lord! that they enter the Gardens of Eternity, which Thou hast promised to them, and to the righteous among their fathers, their wives, and their posterity! For Thou art (He), the Exalted in Might, Full of Wisdom. |

আয়াতঃ ৮) |

মুমিন লোকটি বললঃ হে আমার কওম, তোমরা আমার অনুসরণ কর। আমি তোমাদেরকে সৎপথ প্রদর্শন করব।
The man who believed said further: "O my people! Follow me: I will lead you to the Path of Right. |

আয়াতঃ ৩৮) |

যে মন্দ কর্ম করে, সে কেবল তার অনুরূপ প্রতিফল পাবে, আর যে, পুরুষ অথবা নারী মুমিন অবস্থায় সৎকর্ম করে তারাই জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করবে। তথায় তাদেরকে বে-হিসাব রিযিক দেয়া হবে।
"He that works evil will not be requited but by the like thereof: and he that works a righteous deed - whether man or woman - and is a Believer- such will enter the Garden (of Bliss): Therein will they have abundance without measure. |

অন্ধ ও চক্ষুষ্মান সমান নয়, আর যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে ও সৎকর্ম করে এবং কুকর্মী। তোমরা অল্পই অনুধাবন করে থাক।
Not equal are the blind and those who (clearly) see: Nor are (equal) those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, and those who do evil. Little do ye learn by admonition! |

নিশ্চয় যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে ও সৎকর্ম করে, তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে অফুরন্ত পুরস্কার।
For those who believe and work deeds of righteousness is a reward that will never fail. |

আয়াতঃ ৮) |

আর যারা সামূদ, আমি তাদেরকে প্রদর্শন করেছিলাম, অতঃপর তারা সৎপথের পরিবর্তে অন্ধ থাকাই পছন্দ করল। অতঃপর তাদের কৃতকর্মের কারণে তাদেরকে অবমাননাকর আযাবের বিপদ এসে ধৃত করল।
As to the Thamud, We gave them Guidance, but they preferred blindness (of heart) to Guidance: so the stunning Punishment of humiliation seized them, because of what they had earned. |
(হা-মীম সেজদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১৭) |
| 208 |
যে আল্লাহর দিকে দাওয়াত দেয়, সৎকর্ম করে এবং বলে, আমি একজন আজ্ঞাবহ, তার কথা অপেক্ষা উত্তম কথা আর কার?
Who is better in speech than one who calls (men) to Allah, works righteousness, and says, "I am of those who bow in Islam"? |

আয়াতঃ ৩৩) |

যে সৎকর্ম করে, সে নিজের উপকারের জন্যেই করে, আর যে অসৎকর্ম করে, তা তার উপরই বর্তাবে। আপনার পালনকর্তা বান্দাদের প্রতি মোটেই যুলুম করেন না।
Whoever works righteousness benefits his own soul; whoever works evil, it is against his own soul: nor is thy Lord ever unjust (in the least) to His Servants. |
(হা-মীম সেজদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৪৬) |

আপনি কাফেরদেরকে তাদের কৃতকর্মের জন্যে ভীতসন্ত্রস্ত দেখবেন। তাদের কর্মের শাস্তি অবশ্যই তাদের উপর পতিত হবে। আর যারা মুমিন ও সৎকর্মী, তারা জান্নাতের উদ্যানে থাকবে। তারা যা চাইবে, তাই তাদের জন্যে তাদের পালনকর্তার কাছে রয়েছে। এটাই বড় পুরস্কার।
Thou wilt see the Wrong-doers in fear on account of what they have earned, and (the burden of) that must (necessarily) fall on them. But those who believe and work righteous deeds will be in the luxuriant meads of the Gardens: they shall have, before their Lord, all that they wish for. That will indeed be the magnificent Bounty (of Allah). |

এরই সুসংবাদ দেন আল্লাহ তার সেসব বান্দাকে, যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে ও সৎকর্ম করে। বলুন, আমি আমার দাওয়াতের জন্যে তোমাদের কাছে কেবল আত্নীয়তাজনিত সৌহার্দ চাই। যে কেউ উত্তম কাজ করে, আমি তার জন্যে তাতে পুণ্য বাড়িয়ে দেই। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ ক্ষমাকারী, গুণগ্রাহী।
That is (the Bounty) whereof Allah gives Glad Tidings to His Servants who believe and do righteous deeds. Say: "No reward do I ask of you for this except the love of those near of kin." And if any one earns any good, We shall give him an increase of good in respect thereof: for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Ready to appreciate (service). |

তিনি মুমিন ও সৎকর্মীদের দোয়া শোনেন এবং তাদের প্রতি স্বীয় অনুগ্রহ বাড়িয়ে দেন। আর কাফেরদের জন্যে রয়েছে কঠোর শাস্তি।
And He listens to those who believe and do deeds of righteousness, and gives them increase of His Bounty: but for the Unbelievers their is a terrible Penalty. |
(আশ-শুরা:
আয়াতঃ ২৬) |

তবে আমার সম্পর্ক তাঁর সাথে যিনি আমাকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন। অতএব, তিনিই আমাকে সৎপথ প্রদর্শন করবেন।
"(I worship) only Him Who made me, and He will certainly guide me." |
(যুখরুফ:
আয়াতঃ ২৭) |

শয়তানরাই মানুষকে সৎপথে বাধা দান করে, আর মানুষ মনে করে যে, তারা সৎপথে রয়েছে।
Such (evil ones) really hinder them from the Path, but they think that they are being guided aright! |
(যুখরুফ:
আয়াতঃ ৩৭) |

তারা বলল, হে যাদুকর, তুমি আমাদের জন্যে তোমার পালনকর্তার কাছে সে বিষয় প্রার্থনা কর, যার ওয়াদা তিনি তোমাকে দিয়েছেন; আমরা অবশ্যই সৎপথ অবলম্বন করব।
And they said, "O thou sorcerer! Invoke thy Lord for us according to His covenant with thee; for we shall truly accept guidance." |
(যুখরুফ:
আয়াতঃ ৪৯) |
| 216 |
এটা সৎপথ প্রদর্শন, আর যারা তাদের পালনকর্তার আয়াতসমূহ অস্বীকার করে, তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে কঠোর যন্ত্রণাদায়ক শাস্তি।
This is (true) Guidance and for those who reject the Signs of their Lord, is a grievous Penalty of abomination. |
(আল জাসিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ১১) |
| 217 |
যে সৎকাজ করছে, সে নিজের কল্যাণার্থেই তা করছে, আর যে অসৎকাজ করছে, তা তার উপরই বর্তাবে। অতঃপর তোমরা তোমাদের পালনকর্তার দিকে প্রত্যাবর্তিত হবে।
If any one does a righteous deed, it ensures to the benefit of his own soul; if he does evil, it works against (his own soul). In the end will ye (all) be brought back to your Lord. |
(আল জাসিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ১৫) |
| 218 |
যারা দুস্কর্ম উপার্জন করেছে তারা কি মনে করে যে, আমি তাদেরকে সে লোকদের মত করে দেব, যারা ঈমান আনে ও সৎকর্ম করে এবং তাদের জীবন ও মুত্যু কি সমান হবে? তাদের দাবী কত মন্দ।
What! Do those who seek after evil ways think that We shall hold them equal with those who believe and do righteous deeds,- that equal will be their life and their death? Ill is the judgment that they make. |
(আল জাসিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ২১) |

যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছে ও সৎকর্ম করেছে, তাদেরকে তাদের পালনকর্তা স্বীয় রহমতে দাখিল করবেন। এটাই প্রকাশ্য সাফল্য।
Then, as to those who believed and did righteous deeds, their Lord will admit them to His Mercy that will be the achievement for all to see. |
(আল জাসিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৩০) |

এর আগে মূসার কিতাব ছিল পথপ্রদর্শক ও রহমতস্বরূপ। আর এই কিতাব তার সমর্থক আরবী ভাষায়, যাতে যালেমদেরকে সতর্ক করে এবং সৎকর্মপরায়ণদেরকে সুসংবাদ দেয়।
And before this, was the Book of Moses as a guide and a mercy: And this Book confirms (it) in the Arabic tongue; to admonish the unjust, and as Glad Tidings to those who do right. |
(আল আহক্বাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১২) |

আমি মানুষকে তার পিতা-মাতার সাথে সদ্ব্যবহারের আদেশ দিয়েছি। তার জননী তাকে কষ্টসহকারে গর্ভে ধারণ করেছে এবং কষ্টসহকারে প্রসব করেছে। তাকে গর্ভে ধারণ করতে ও তার স্তন্য ছাড়তে লেগেছে ত্রিশ মাস। অবশেষে সে যখন শক্তি-সামর্থে?480; বয়সে ও চল্লিশ বছরে পৌছেছে, তখন বলতে লাগল, হে আমার পালনকর্তা, আমাকে এরূপ ভাগ্য দান কর, যাতে আমি তোমার নেয়ামতের শোকর করি, যা তুমি দান করেছ আমাকে ও আমার পিতা-মাতাকে এবং যাতে আমি তোমার পছন্দনীয় সৎকাজ করি। আমার সন্তানদেরকে সৎকর্মপরায়ণ কর, আমি তোমার প্রতি তওবা করলাম এবং আমি আজ্ঞাবহদের অন্যতম।
We have enjoined on man kindness to his parents: In pain did his mother bear him, and in pain did she give him birth. The carrying of the (child) to his weaning is (a period of) thirty months. At length, when he reaches the age of full strength and attains forty years, he says, "O my Lord! Grant me that I may be grateful for Thy favour which Thou has bestowed upon me, and upon both my parents, and that I may work righteousness such as Thou mayest approve; and be gracious to me in my issue. Truly have I turned to Thee and truly do I bow (to Thee) in Islam." |
(আল আহক্বাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৫) |

আর যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে, সৎকর্ম সম্পাদন করে এবং তাদের পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে মুহাম্মদের প্রতি অবতীর্ণ সত্যে বিশ্বাস করে, আল্লাহ তাদের মন্দ কর্মসমূহ মার্জনা করেন এবং তাদের অবস্থা ভাল করে দেন।
But those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, and believe in the (Revelation) sent down to Muhammad - for it is the Truth from their Lord,- He will remove from them their ills and improve their condition. |
(মুহাম্মদ:
আয়াতঃ ২) |
| 223 |
যারা বিশ্বাস করে ও সৎকর্ম করে, আল্লাহ তাদেরকে জান্নাতে দাখিল করবেন, যার নিম্নদেশে নির্ঝরিণীসমূহ প্রবাহিত হয়। আর যারা কাফের, তারা ভোগ-বিলাসে মত্ত থাকে এবং চতুস্পদ জন্তুর মত আহার করে। তাদের বাসস্থান জাহান্নাম।
Verily Allah will admit those who believe and do righteous deeds, to Gardens beneath which rivers flow; while those who reject Allah will enjoy (this world) and eat as cattle eat; and the Fire will be their abode. |

আয়াতঃ ১২) |

যারা সৎপথপ্রাপ্ত হয়েছে, তাদের সৎপথপ্রাপ্তি আরও বেড়ে যায় এবং আল্লাহ তাদেরকে তাকওয়া দান করেন।
But to those who receive Guidance, He increases the (light of) Guidance, and bestows on them their Piety and Restraint (from evil). |
(মুহাম্মদ:
আয়াতঃ ১৭) |
| 225 |
নিশ্চয় যারা কাফের এবং আল্লাহর পথ থেকে মানুষকে ফিরিয়ে রাখে এবং নিজেদের জন্যে সৎপথ ব্যক্ত হওয়ার পর রসূলের (সঃ) বিরোধিতা করে, তারা আল্লাহর কোনই ক্ষতি করতে পারবে না এবং তিনি ব্যর্থ করে দিবেন তাদের কর্মসমূহকে।
Those who reject Allah, hinder (men) from the Path of Allah, and resist the Messenger, after Guidance has been clearly shown to them, will not injure Allah in the least, but He will make their deeds of no effect. |

আয়াতঃ ৩২) |

মুহাম্মদ আল্লাহর রসূল এবং তাঁর সহচরগণ কাফেরদের প্রতি কঠোর, নিজেদের মধ্যে পরস্পর সহানুভূতিশীল। আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ ও সন্তুষ্টি কামনায় আপনি তাদেরকে রুকু ও সেজদারত দেখবেন। তাদের মুখমন্ডলে রয়েছে সেজদার চিহ্ন । তওরাতে তাদের অবস্থা এরূপ এবং ইঞ্জিলে তাদের অবস্থা যেমন একটি চারা গাছ যা থেকে নির্গত হয় কিশলয়, অতঃপর তা শক্ত ও মজবুত হয় এবং কান্ডের উপর দাঁড়ায় দৃঢ়ভাবে-চাষীকে আনন্দে অভিভুত করে-যাতে আল্লাহ তাদের দ্বারা কাফেরদের অন্তর্জালা সৃষ্টি করেন। তাদের মধ্যে যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে এবং সৎকর্ম করে, আল্লাহ তাদেরকে ক্ষমা ও মহাপুরস্কারের ওয়াদা দিয়েছেন।
Muhammad is the messenger of Allah; and those who are with him are strong against Unbelievers, (but) compassionate amongst each other. Thou wilt see them bow and prostrate themselves (in prayer), seeking Grace from Allah and (His) Good Pleasure. On their faces are their marks, (being) the traces of their prostration. This is their similitude in the Taurat; and their similitude in the Gospel is: like a seed which sends forth its blade, then makes it strong; it then becomes thick, and it stands on its own stem, (filling) the sowers with wonder and delight. As a result, it fills the Unbelievers with rage at them. Allah has promised those among them who believe and do righteous deeds forgiveness, and a great Reward. |
(আল ফাতহ:
আয়াতঃ ২৯) |

তোমরা জেনে রাখ তোমাদের মধ্যে আল্লাহর রসূল রয়েছেন। তিনি যদি অনেক বিষয়ে তোমাদের আবদার মেনে নেন, তবে তোমরাই কষ্ট পাবে। কিন্তু আল্লাহ তোমাদের অন্তরে ঈমানের মহব্বত সৃষ্টি করে দিয়েছেন এবং তা হৃদয়গ্রাহী করে দিয়েছেন। পক্ষান্তরে কুফর, পাপাচার ও নাফরমানীর প্রতি ঘৃণা সৃষ্টি করে দিয়েছেন। তারাই সৎপথ অবলম্বনকারী।
And know that among you is Allah's Messenger: were he, in many matters, to follow your (wishes), ye would certainly fall into misfortune: But Allah has endeared the Faith to you, and has made it beautiful in your hearts, and He has made hateful to you Unbelief, wickedness, and rebellion: such indeed are those who walk in righteousness;- |
(আল হুজরাত:
আয়াতঃ ৭) |
| 228 |
এমতাবস্থায় যে, তারা গ্রহণ করবে যা তাদের পালনকর্তা তাদেরকে দেবেন। নিশ্চয় ইতিপূর্বে তারা ছিল সৎকর্মপরায়ণ,
Taking joy in the things which their Lord gives them, because, before then, they lived a good life. |
(আয-যারিয়াত:
আয়াতঃ ১৬) |

নভোমন্ডল ও ভূমন্ডলে যা কিছু আছে, সবই আল্লাহর, যাতে তিনি মন্দকর্মীদেরকে তাদের কর্মের প্রতিফল দেন এবং সৎকর্মীদেরকে দেন ভাল ফল।
Yea, to Allah belongs all that is in the heavens and on earth: so that He rewards those who do evil, according to their deeds, and He rewards those who do good, with what is best. |
(আন-নাজম:

সৎকাজের প্রতিদান উত্তম পুরস্কার ব্যতীত কি হতে পারে?
Is there any Reward for Good - other than Good? |

আমি নূহ ও ইব্রাহীমকে রসূলরূপে প্রেরণ করেছি এবং তাদের বংশধরের মধ্যে নবুওয়ত ও কিতাব অব্যাহত রেখেছি। অতঃপর তাদের কতক সৎপথপ্রাপ্ত হয়েছে এবং অধিকাংশই হয়েছে পাপাচারী।
And We sent Noah and Abraham, and established in their line Prophethood and Revelation: and some of them were on right guidance. But many of them became rebellious transgressors. |
(আল হাদীদ:
আয়াতঃ ২৬) |
| 232 |
যেদিন আল্লাহ তাদের সকলকে পুনরুত্থিত করবেন। অতঃপর তারা আল্লাহর সামনে শপথ করবে, যেমন তোমাদের সামনে শপথ করে। তারা মনে করবে যে, তারা কিছু সৎপথে আছে। সাবধান, তারাই তো আসল মিথ্যাবাদী।
One day will Allah raise them all up (for Judgment): then will they swear to Him as they swear to you: And they think that they have something (to stand upon). No, indeed! they are but liars! |
(আল মুজাদালাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১৮) |

আমি তোমাদেরকে যা দিয়েছি, তা থেকে মৃত্যু আসার আগেই ব্যয় কর। অন্যথায় সে বলবেঃ হে আমার পালনকর্তা, আমাকে আরও কিছুকাল অবকাশ দিলে না কেন? তাহলে আমি সদকা করতাম এবং সৎকর্মীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হতাম।
and spend something (in charity) out of the substance which We have bestowed on you, before Death should come to any of you and he should say, "O my Lord! why didst Thou not give me respite for a little while? I should then have given (largely) in charity, and I should have been one of the doers of good". |
(মুনাফিকুন:
আয়াতঃ ১০) |
| 234 |
সেদিন অর্থাৎ, সমাবেশের দিন আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে সমবেত করবেন। এ দিন হার-জিতের দিন। যে ব্যক্তি আল্লাহর প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে এবং সৎকর্ম সম্পাদন করে, আল্লাহ তার পাপসমূহ মোচন করবেন এবং তাকে জান্নাতে দাখিল করবেন। যার তলদেশে নির্ঝরিনীসমূহ প্রবাহিত হবে, তারা তথায় চিরকাল বসবাস করবে। এটাই মহাসাফল্য।
The Day that He assembles you (all) for a Day of Assembly,- that will be a Day of mutual loss and gain (among you), and those who believe in Allah and work righteousness,- He will remove from them their ills, and He will admit them to Gardens beneath which Rivers flow, to dwell therein for ever: that will be the Supreme Achievement. |
(আত-তাগাবুন:
আয়াতঃ ৯) |
| 235 |
আল্লাহর নির্দেশ ব্যতিরেকে কোন বিপদ আসে না এবং যে আল্লাহর প্রতি বিশ্বাস করে, তিনি তার অন্তরকে সৎপথ প্রদর্শন করেন। আল্লাহ সর্ববিষয়ে সম্যক পরিজ্ঞাত।
No kind of calamity can occur, except by the leave of Allah: and if any one believes in Allah, (Allah) guides his heart (aright): for Allah knows all things. |
(আত-তাগাবুন:
আয়াতঃ ১১) |

একজন রসূল, যিনি তোমাদের কাছে আল্লাহর সুস্পষ্ট আয়াতসমূহ পাঠ করেন, যাতে বিশ্বাসী ও সৎকর্মপরায়ণদের অন্ধকার থেকে আলোতে আনয়ন করেন। যে আল্লাহর প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে ও সৎকর্ম সম্পাদন করে, তিনি তাকে দাখিল করবেন জান্নাতে, যার তলদেশে নদী প্রবাহিত, তথায় তারা চিরকাল থাকবে। আল্লাহ তাকে উত্তম রিযিক দেবেন।
An Messenger, who rehearses to you the Signs of Allah containing clear explanations, that he may lead forth those who believe and do righteous deeds from the depths of Darkness into Light. And those who believe in Allah and work righteousness, He will admit to Gardens beneath which Rivers flow, to dwell therein for ever: Allah has indeed granted for them a most excellent Provision. |
(আত্ব-ত্বালাক্ব:
আয়াতঃ ১১) |

তোমাদের অন্তর অন্যায়ের দিকে ঝুঁকে পড়েছে বলে যদি তোমরা উভয়ে তওবা কর, তবে ভাল কথা। আর যদি নবীর বিরুদ্ধে একে অপরকে সাহায্য কর, তবে জেনে রেখ আল্লাহ জিবরাঈল এবং সৎকর্মপরায়ণ মুমিনগণ তাঁর সহায়। উপরন্তুত ফেরেশতাগণও তাঁর সাহায্যকারী।
If ye two turn in repentance to Him, your hearts are indeed so inclined; But if ye back up each other against him, truly Allah is his Protector, and Gabriel, and (every) righteous one among those who believe,- and furthermore, the angels - will back (him) up. |
(আত-তাহরীম:
আয়াতঃ ৪) |
| 238 |
যে ব্যক্তি উপুড় হয়ে মুখে ভর দিয়ে চলে, সে-ই কি সৎ পথে চলে, না সে ব্যক্তি যে সোজা হয়ে সরলপথে চলে?
Is then one who walks headlong, with his face grovelling, better guided,- or one who walks evenly on a Straight Way? |
(আল মুলক:
আয়াতঃ ২২) |
| 239 |
আপনার পালনকর্তা সম্যক জানেন কে তাঁর পথ থেকে বিচ্যুত হয়েছে এবং তিনি জানেন যারা সৎপথ প্রাপ্ত।
Verily it is thy Lord that knoweth best, which (among men) hath strayed from His Path: and He knoweth best those who receive (true) Guidance. |

আয়াতঃ ৭) |

অতঃপর তার পালনকর্তা তাকে মনোনীত করলেন এবং তাকে সৎকর্মীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত করে নিলেন।
Thus did his Lord choose him and make him of the Company of the Righteous. |
(আল কলম:
আয়াতঃ ৫০) |

যা সৎপথ প্রদর্শন করে। ফলে আমরা তাতে বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছি। আমরা কখনও আমাদের পালনকর্তার সাথে কাউকে শরীক করব না।
'It gives guidance to the Right, and we have believed therein: we shall not join (in worship) any (gods) with our Lord. |
(আল জিন:
আয়াতঃ ২) |

আমাদের কেউ কেউ সৎকর্মপরায়ণ এবং কেউ কেউ এরূপ নয়। আমরা ছিলাম বিভিন্ন পথে বিভক্ত।
'There are among us some that are righteous, and some the contrary: we follow divergent paths. |

আয়াতঃ ১১) |

আমাদের কিছুসংখ্যক আজ্ঞাবহ এবং কিছুসংখ্যক অন্যায়কারী। যারা আজ্ঞাবহ হয়, তারা সৎপথ বেছে নিয়েছে।
'Amongst us are some that submit their wills (to Allah), and some that swerve from justice. Now those who submit their wills - they have sought out (the path) of right conduct: |

আমি জাহান্নামের তত্ত্বাবধায়ক ফেরেশতাই রেখেছি। আমি কাফেরদেরকে পরীক্ষা করার জন্যেই তার এই সংখ্যা করেছি-যাতে কিতাবীরা দৃঢ়বিশ্বাসী হয়, মুমিনদের ঈমান বৃদ্ধি পায় এবং কিতাবীরা ও মুমিনগণ সন্দেহ পোষণ না করে এবং যাতে যাদের অন্তরে রোগ আছে, তারা এবং কাফেররা বলে যে, আল্লাহ এর দ্বারা কি বোঝাতে চেয়েছেন। এমনিভাবে আল্লাহ যাকে ইচ্ছা পথভ্রষ্ট করেন এবং যাকে ইচ্ছা সৎপথে চালান। আপনার পালনকর্তার বাহিনী সম্পর্কে একমাত্র তিনিই জানেন এটা তো মানুষের জন্যে উপদেশ বৈ নয়।
And We have set none but angels as Guardians of the Fire; and We have fixed their number only as a trial for Unbelievers,- in order that the People of the Book may arrive at certainty, and the Believers may increase in Faith,- and that no doubts may be left for the People of the Book and the Believers, and that those in whose hearts is a disease and the Unbelievers may say, "What symbol doth Allah intend by this?" Thus doth Allah leave to stray whom He pleaseth, and guide whom He pleaseth: and none can know the forces of thy Lord, except He and this is no other than a warning to mankind. |

নিশ্চয়ই সৎকর্মশীলরা পান করবে কাফুর মিশ্রিত পানপাত্র।
As to the Righteous, they shall drink of a Cup (of Wine) mixed with Kafur,- |

আয়াতঃ ৫) |

এভাবেই আমি সৎকর্মশীলদেরকে পুরস্কৃত করে থাকি।
Thus do We certainly reward the Doers of Good. |
(আল মুরসালাত:
আয়াতঃ ৪৪) |

সৎকর্মশীলগণ থাকবে জান্নাতে।
As for the Righteous, they will be in bliss; |

আয়াতঃ ১৩) |

কখনও না, নিশ্চয় সৎলোকদের আমলনামা আছে ইল্লিয়্যীনে।
Nay, verily the record of the Righteous is (preserved) in 'Illiyin. |
(আত-তাতফীফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৮) |
| 249 |
নিশ্চয় সৎলোকগণ থাকবে পরম আরামে,
Truly the Righteous will be in Bliss: |

আয়াতঃ ২২) |

কিন্তু যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে ও সৎকর্ম করে, তাদের জন্য রয়েছে অফুরন্ত পুরস্কার।
Except to those who believe and work righteous deeds: For them is a Reward that will never fail. |

আয়াতঃ ২৫) |

যারা ঈমান আনে ও সৎকর্ম করে তাদের জন্যে আছে জান্নাত, যার তলদেশে প্রবাহিত হয় নির্ঝরিণীসমূহ। এটাই মহাসাফল্য।
For those who believe and do righteous deeds, will be Gardens; beneath which rivers flow: That is the great Salvation, (the fulfilment of all desires), |

আয়াতঃ ১১) |

অতঃপর তাকে তার অসৎকর্ম ও সৎকর্মের জ্ঞান দান করেছেন,
And its enlightenment as to its wrong and its right;- |
(আশ-শামস:
আয়াতঃ ৮) |

কিন্তু যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছে ও সৎকর্ম করেছে, তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে অশেষ পুরস্কার।
Except such as believe and do righteous deeds: For they shall have a reward unfailing. |

আয়াতঃ ৬) |

আপনি কি দেখেছেন যদি সে সৎপথে থাকে।
Seest thou if he is on (the road of) Guidance?- |
(আলাক:
আয়াতঃ ১১) |
| 255 |
যারা ঈমান আনে ও সৎকর্ম করে, তারাই সৃষ্টির সেরা।
Those who have faith and do righteous deeds,- they are the best of creatures. |
(বাইয়্যিনাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৭) |
| 256 |
অতঃপর কেউ অণু পরিমাণ সৎকর্ম করলে তা দেখতে পাবে
Then shall anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, see it! |
(যিলযাল:
আয়াতঃ ৭) |
| 257 |
এবং কেউ অণু পরিমাণ অসৎকর্ম করলে তাও দেখতে পাবে।
And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil, shall see it. |
(যিলযাল:
আয়াতঃ ৮) |
| 258 |
কিন্তু তারা নয়, যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে ও সৎকর্ম করে এবং পরস্পরকে তাকীদ করে সত্যের এবং তাকীদ করে সবরের।
Except such as have Faith, and do righteous deeds, and (join together) in the mutual teaching of Truth, and of Patience and Constancy. |
