অতঃপর তালূত যখন সৈন্য-সামন্ত নিয়ে বেরুল, তখন বলল, নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ তোমাদিগকে পরীক্ষা করবেন একটি নদীর মাধ্যমে। সুতরাং যে লোক সেই নদীর পানি পান করবে সে আমার নয়। আর যে, লোক তার স্বাদ গ্রহণ করলো না, নিশ্চয়ই সে আমার লোক। কিন্তু যে লোক হাতের আঁজলা ভরে সামান্য খেয়ে নেবে তার দোষঅবশ্য তেমন গুরুতর হবে না। অতঃপর সবাই পান করল সে পানি, সামান্য কয়েকজন ছাড়া। পরে তালূত যখন তা পার হলো এবং তার সাথে ছিল মাত্র কয়েকজন ঈমানদার, তখন তারা বলতে লাগল, আজকের দিনে জালূত এবং তার সেনাবাহিনীর সাথে যুদ্ধ করার শক্তি আমাদের নেই, যাদের ধারণা ছিল যে, আল্লাহর সামনে তাদের একদিন উপস্থিত হতে হবে, তারা বার বার বলতে লাগল, সামান্য দলই বিরাট দলের মোকাবেলায় জয়ী হয়েছে আল্লাহর হুকুমে। আর যারা ধৈর্য্যশীল আল্লাহ তাদের সাথে রয়েছেন।
When Talut set forth with the armies, he said: "Allah will test you at the stream: if any drinks of its water, He goes not with my army: Only those who taste not of it go with me: A mere sip out of the hand is excused." but they all drank of it, except a few. When they crossed the river,- He and the faithful ones with him,- they said: "This day We cannot cope with Goliath and his forces." but those who were convinced that they must meet Allah, said: "How oft, by Allah's will, Hath a small force vanquished a big one? Allah is with those who steadfastly persevere." |

সেদিন কোন কোন মুখ উজ্জ্বল হবে, আর কোন কোন মুখ হবে কালো। বস্তুতঃ যাদের মুখ কালো হবে, তাদের বলা হবে, তোমরা কি ঈমান আনার পর কাফের হয়ে গিয়েছিলে? এবার সে কুফরীর বিনিময়ে আযাবের আস্বাদ গ্রহণ কর।
On the Day when some faces will be (lit up with) white, and some faces will be (in the gloom of) black: To those whose faces will be black, (will be said): "Did ye reject Faith after accepting it? Taste then the penalty for rejecting Faith." |

নিঃসন্দেহে আল্লাহ তাদের কথা শুনেছেন, যারা বলেছে যে, আল্লাহ হচ্ছেন অভাবগ্রস্ত আর আমরা বিত্তবান! এখন আমি তাদের কথা এবং যেসব নবীকে তারা অন্যায়ভাবে হত্যা করেছে তা লিখে রাখব, অতঃপর বলব, আস্বাদন কর জ্বলন্ত আগুনের আযাব।
Allah hath heard the taunt of those who say: "Truly, Allah is indigent and we are rich!"- We shall certainly record their word and (their act) of slaying the prophets in defiance of right, and We shall say: "Taste ye the penalty of the Scorching Fire! |

আয়াতঃ ১৮১) |

প্রত্যেক প্রাণীকে আস্বাদন করতে হবে মৃত্যু। আর তোমরা কিয়ামতের দিন পরিপূর্ণ বদলা প্রাপ্ত হবে। তারপর যাকে দোযখ থেকে দূরে রাখা হবে এবং জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করানো হবে, তার কার্যসিদ্ধি ঘটবে। আর পার্থিব জীবন ধোঁকা ছাড়া অন্য কোন সম্পদ নয়।
Every soul shall have a taste of death: And only on the Day of Judgment shall you be paid your full recompense. Only he who is saved far from the Fire and admitted to the Garden will have attained the object (of Life): For the life of this world is but goods and chattels of deception. |

এতে সন্দেহ নেই যে, আমার নিদর্শন সমুহের প্রতি যেসব লোক অস্বীকৃতি জ্ঞাপন করবে, আমি তাদেরকে আগুনে নিক্ষেপ করব। তাদের চামড়াগুলো যখন জ্বলে-পুড়ে যাবে, তখন আবার আমি তা পালটে দেব অন্য চামড়া দিয়ে, যাতে তারা আযাব আস্বাদন করতে থাকে। নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ মহাপরাক্রমশালী, হেকমতের অধিকারী।
Those who reject our Signs, We shall soon cast into the Fire: as often as their skins are roasted through, We shall change them for fresh skins, that they may taste the penalty: for Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise. |

আয়াতঃ ৫৬) |

হে মুমিনগণ, তোমরা ঐসব সুস্বাদু বস্তু হারাম করো না, যেগুলো আল্লাহ তোমাদের জন্য হালাল করেছেন এবং সীমা অতিক্রম করো না। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সীমা অতিক্রমকারীদেরকে পছন্দ করেন না।
O ye who believe! make not unlawful the good things which Allah hath made lawful for you, but commit no excess: for Allah loveth not those given to excess. |
(আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৮৭) |

মুমিনগণ, তোমরা এহরাম অবস্থায় শিকার বধ করো না। তোমাদের মধ্যে যে জেনেশুনে শিকার বধ করবে, তার উপর বিনিময় ওয়াজেব হবে, যা সমান হবে ঐ জন্তুর, যাকে সে বধ করেছে। দু’জন নির্ভরযোগ্য ব্যক্তি এর ফয়সালা করবে-বিনিময়ের জন্তুটি উৎসর্গ হিসেবে কাবায় পৌছাতে হবে। অথবা তার উপর কাফফারা ওয়াজেব-কয়েকজন দরিদ্রকে খাওয়ানো অথবা তার সমপরিমাণ রোযা রাখতে যাতে সে স্বীয় কৃতকর্মের প্রতিফল আস্বাদন করে। যা হয়ে গেছে, তা আল্লাহ মাফ করেছেন। যে পুনরায় এ কান্ড করবে, আল্লাহ তার কাছ থেকে প্রতিশোধ নিবেন। আল্লাহ পরাক্রান্ত, প্রতিশোধ গ্রহণে সক্ষম।
O ye who believe! Kill not game while in the sacred precincts or in pilgrim garb. If any of you doth so intentionally, the compensation is an offering, brought to the Ka'ba, of a domestic animal equivalent to the one he killed, as adjudged by two just men among you; or by way of atonement, the feeding of the indigent; or its equivalent in fasts: that he may taste of the penalty of his deed. Allah forgives what is past: for repetition Allah will exact from him the penalty. For Allah is Exalted, and Lord of Retribution. |

আর যদি আপনি দেখেন; যখন তাদেরকে প্রতিপালকের সামনে দাঁড় করানো হবে। তিনি বলবেনঃ এটা কি বাস্তব সত্য নয়? তারা বলবেঃ হঁ্যা আমাদের প্রতিপালকের কসম। তিনি বলবেনঃ অতএব, স্বীয় কুফরের কারণে শাস্তি আস্বাদন কর।
If thou couldst but see when they are confronted with their Lord! He will say: "Is not this the truth?" They will say: "Yea, by our Lord!" He will say: "Taste ye then the penalty, because ye rejected Faith." |
(আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ৩০) |

আপনি বলুনঃ তিনিই শক্তিমান যে, তোমাদের উপর কোন শাস্তি উপর দিক থেকে অথবা তোমাদের পদতল থেকে প্রেরণ করবেন অথবা তোমাদেরকে দলে-উপদলে বিভক্ত করে সবাইকে মুখোমুখী করে দিবেন এবং এককে অন্যের উপর আক্রমণের স্বাদ আস্বাদন করাবেন। দেখ, আমি কেমন ঘুরিয়ে-ফিরিয়ে নিদর্শনাবলী বর্ণনা করি যাতে তারা বুঝে নেয়।
Say: "He hath power to send calamities on you, from above and below, or to cover you with confusion in party strife, giving you a taste of mutual vengeance - each from the other." See how We explain the signs by various (symbols); that they may understand. |

আয়াতঃ ৬৫) |

তিনিই উদ্যান সমূহ সৃষ্টি করেছে-তাও, যা মাচার উপর তুলে দেয়া হয়, এবং যা মাচার উপর তোলা হয় না এবং খর্জুর বৃক্ষ ও শস্যক্ষেত্র যেসবের স্বাদবিশিষ্ট এবং যয়তুন ও আনার সৃষ্টি করেছেন-একে অন্যের সাদৃশ্যশীল এবং সাদৃশ্যহীন। এগুলোর ফল খাও, যখন ফলন্ত হয় এবং হক দান কর কর্তনের সময়ে এবং অপব্যয় করো না। নিশ্চয় তিনি অপব্যয়ীদেরকে পছন্দ করেন না।
It is He Who produceth gardens, with trellises and without, and dates, and tilth with produce of all kinds, and olives and pomegranates, similar (in kind) and different (in variety): eat of their fruit in their season, but render the dues that are proper on the day that the harvest is gathered. But waste not by excess: for Allah loveth not the wasters. |

আয়াতঃ ১৪১) |

এখন মুশরেকরা বলবেঃ যদি আল্লাহ ইচ্ছা করতেন, তবে না আমরা শিরক করতাম, না আমাদের বাপ দাদারা এবং না আমরা কোন বস্তুকে হারাম করতাম। এমনিভাবে তাদের পূর্ববর্তীরা মিথ্যারোপ করেছে, এমন কি তারা আমার শাস্তি আস্বাদন করেছে। আপনি বলুনঃ তোমাদের কাছে কি কোন প্রমাণ আছে যা আমাদেরকে দেখাতে পার। তোমরা শুধুমাত্র আন্দাজের অনুসরণ কর এবং তোমরা শুধু অনুমান করে কথা বল।
Those who give partners (to Allah) will say: "If Allah had wished, we should not have given partners to Him nor would our fathers; nor should we have had any taboos." So did their ancestors argue falsely, until they tasted of Our wrath. Say: "Have ye any (certain) knowledge? If so, produce it before us. Ye follow nothing but conjecture: ye do nothing but lie." |

আয়াতঃ ১৪৮) |
| 12 |
অতঃপর প্রতারণাপূর্বক তাদেরকে সম্মত করে ফেলল। অনন্তর যখন তারা বৃক্ষ আস্বাদন করল, তখন তাদের লজ্জাস্থান তাদের সামনে খুলে গেল এবং তারা নিজের উপর বেহেশতের পাতা জড়াতে লাগল। তাদের প্রতিপালক তাদেরকে ডেকে বললেনঃ আমি কি তোমাদেরকে এ বৃক্ষ থেকে নিষেধ করিনি এবং বলিনি যে, শয়তান তোমাদের প্রকাশ্য শত্রু।
So by deceit he brought about their fall: when they tasted of the tree, their shame became manifest to them, and they began to sew together the leaves of the garden over their bodies. And their Lord called unto them: "Did I not forbid you that tree, and tell you that Satan was an avowed enemy unto you?" |
(আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ২২) |
| 13 |
পূর্ববর্তীরা পরবর্তীদেরকে বলবেঃ তাহলে আমাদের উপর তোমাদের কোন শ্রেষ্ঠত্ব নেই অতএব, শাস্তি আস্বাদন কর স্বীয় কর্মের কারণে।
Then the first will say to the last: "See then! No advantage have ye over us; so taste ye of the penalty for all that ye did!" |
(আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৩৯) |
| 14 |
আপাততঃ বর্তমান এ শাস্তি তোমরা আস্বাদন করে নাও এবং জেনে রাখ যে, কাফেরদের জন্য রয়েছে দোযখের আযাব।
Thus (will it be said): "Taste ye then of the (punishment): for those who resist Allah, is the penalty of the Fire." |
(আল-আনফাল:
আয়াতঃ ১৪) |
| 15 |
আর কা’বার নিকট তাদের নামায বলতে শিস দেয়া আর তালি বাজানো ছাড়া অন্য কোন কিছুই ছিল না। অতএব, এবার নিজেদের কৃত কুফরীর আযাবের স্বাদ গ্রহণ কর।
Their prayer at the House (of Allah) is nothing but whistling and clapping of hands: (Its only answer can be), "Taste ye the penalty because ye blasphemed." |
(আল-আনফাল:
আয়াতঃ ৩৫) |

আর যদি তুমি দেখ, যখন ফেরেশতারা কাফেরদের জান কবজ করে; প্রহার করে, তাদের মুখে এবং তাদের পশ্চাদদেশে আর বলে, জ্বলন্ত আযাবের স্বাদ গ্রহণ কর।
If thou couldst see, when the angels take the souls of the Unbelievers (at death), (How) they smite their faces and their backs, (saying): "Taste the penalty of the blazing Fire- |
(আল-আনফাল:
আয়াতঃ ৫০) |

সে দিন জাহান্নামের আগুনে তা উত্তপ্ত করা হবে এবং তার দ্বারা তাদের ললাট, পার্শ্ব ও পৃষ্ঠদেশকে দগ্ধ করা হবে (সেদিন বলা হবে), এগুলো যা তোমরা নিজেদের জন্যে জমা রেখেছিলে, সুতরাং এক্ষণে আস্বাদ গ্রহণ কর জমা করে রাখার।
On the Day when heat will be produced out of that (wealth) in the fire of Hell, and with it will be branded their foreheads, their flanks, and their backs, their flanks, and their backs.- "This is the (treasure) which ye buried for yourselves: taste ye, then, the (treasures) ye buried!" |

আয়াতঃ ৩৫) |

আর যখন আমি আস্বাদন করাই স্বীয় রহমত সে কষ্টের পর, যা তাদের ভোগ করতে হয়েছিল, তখনই তারা আমার শক্তিমত্তার মাঝে নানা রকম ছলনা তৈরী করতে আরম্ভ করবে। আপনি বলে দিন, আল্লাহ সবচেয়ে দ্রুত কলা-কৌশল তৈরী করতে পারেন। নিশ্চয়ই আমাদের ফেরেশতারা লিখে রাখে তোমাদের ছল-চাতুরী।
When We make mankind taste of some mercy after adversity hath touched them, behold! they take to plotting against Our Signs! Say: "Swifter to plan is Allah!" Verily, Our messengers record all the plots that ye make! |

আয়াতঃ ২১) |
| 19 |
পার্থিবজীবনে সামান্যই লাভ, অতঃপর আমার নিকট প্রত্যাবর্তন করতে হবে। তখন আমি তাদেরকে আস্বাদন করাব কঠিন আযাব-তাদেরই কৃত কুফরীর বদলাতে।
A little enjoyment in this world!- and then, to Us will be their return, then shall We make them taste the severest penalty for their blasphemies. |

আয়াতঃ ৭০) |
| 20 |
আর অবশ্যই যদি আমি মানুষকে আমার রহমতের আস্বাদ গ্রহণ করতে দেই, অতঃপর তা তার থেকে ছিনিয়ে নেই; তাহলে সে হতাশ ও কৃতঘ্ন হয়।
If We give man a taste of Mercy from Ourselves, and then withdraw it from him, behold! he is in despair and (falls into) blasphemy. |

আয়াতঃ ৯) |

এবং যমিনে বিভিন্ন শস্য ক্ষেত্র রয়েছে-একটি অপরটির সাথে সংলগ্ন এবং আঙ্গুরের বাগান আছে আর শস্য ও খজ্জꦣ2497;র রয়েছে-একটির মূল অপরটির সাথে মিলিত এবং কতক মিলিত নয়। এগুলো কে একই পানি দ্বারা সেচ করা হয়। আর আমি স্বাদে একটিকে অপরটির চাইতে উৎকৃষ্টতর করে দেই। এগুলোর মধ্যে নিদর্শণ রয়েছে তাদের জন্য যারা চিন্তা ভাবনা করে।
And in the earth are tracts (diverse though) neighbouring, and gardens of vines and fields sown with corn, and palm trees - growing out of single roots or otherwise: watered with the same water, yet some of them We make more excellent than others to eat. Behold, verily in these things there are signs for those who understand! |

আয়াতঃ ৪) |
| 22 |
তোমরা স্বীয় কসমসমূহকে পারস্পরিক কলহ দ্বন্দ্বের বাহানা করো না। তা হলে দৃঢ়ভাবে প্রতিষ্ঠিত হওয়ার পর পা ফসকে যাবে এবং তোমরা শাস্তির স্বাদ আস্বাদন করবে এ কারণে যে, তোমরা আমার পথে বাধা দান করেছ এবং তোমাদের কঠোর শাস্তি হবে।
And take not your oaths, to practise deception between yourselves, with the result that someone's foot may slip after it was firmly planted, and ye may have to taste the evil (consequences) of having hindered (men) from the Path of Allah, and a Mighty Wrath descend on you. |
(নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ৯৪) |
| 23 |
আল্লাহ দৃষ্টান্ত বর্ণনা করেছেন একটি জনপদের, যা ছিল নিরাপদ ও নিশ্চিন্ত, তথায় প্রত্যেক জায়গা থেকে আসত প্রচুর জীবনোপকরণ। অতঃপর তারা আল্লাহর নেয়ামতের প্রতি অকৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করল। তখন আল্লাহ তাদেরকে তাদের কৃতকর্মের কারণে স্বাদ আস্বাদন করালেন, ক্ষুধা ও ভীতির।
Allah sets forth a Parable: a city enjoying security and quiet, abundantly supplied with sustenance from every place: Yet was it ungrateful for the favours of Allah: so Allah made it taste of hunger and terror (in extremes) (closing in on it) like a garment (from every side), because of the (evil) which (its people) wrought. |

আয়াতঃ ১১২) |

তখন আমি অবশ্যই আপনাকে ইহজীবনে ও পরজীবনে দ্বিগুণ শাস্তির আস্বাদন করাতাম। এ সময় আপনি আমার মোকাবিলায় কোন সাহায্যকারী পেতেন না।
In that case We should have made thee taste an equal portion (of punishment) in this life, and an equal portion in death: and moreover thou wouldst have found none to help thee against Us! |
(বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ৭৫) |
| 25 |
প্রত্যেককে মৃত্যুর স্বাদ আস্বাদন করতে হবে। আমি তোমাদেরকে মন্দ ও ভাল দ্বারা পরীক্ষা করে থাকি এবং আমারই কাছে তোমরা প্রত্যাবর্তিত হবে।
Every soul shall have a taste of death: and We test you by evil and by good by way of trial. to Us must ye return. |
(আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৩৫) |
| 26 |
সে পার্শ্ব পরিবর্তন করে বিতর্ক করে, যাতে আল্লাহর পথ থেকে বিভ্রান্ত করে দেয়। তার জন্যে দুনিয়াতে লাঞ্ছনা আছে এবং কেয়ামতের দিন আমি তাকে দহন-যন্ত্রণা আস্বাদন করাব।
(Disdainfully) bending his side, in order to lead (men) astray from the Path of Allah: for him there is disgrace in this life, and on the Day of Judgment We shall make him taste the Penalty of burning (Fire). |
(হাজ্জ্ব:
আয়াতঃ ৯) |
| 27 |
তারা যখনই যন্ত্রনায় অতিষ্ঠ হয়ে জাহান্নাম থেকে বের হতে চাইবে, তখনই তাদেরকে তাতে ফিরিয়ে দেয়া হবে। বলা হবেঃ দহন শাস্তি আস্বাদন কর।
Every time they wish to get away therefrom, from anguish, they will be forced back therein, and (it will be said), "Taste ye the Penalty of Burning!" |
(হাজ্জ্ব:
আয়াতঃ ২২) |
| 28 |
যারা কুফর করে ও আল্লাহর পথে বাধা সৃষ্টি করে এবং সেই মসজিদে হারাম থেকে বাধা দেয়, যাকে আমি প্রস্তুত করেছি স্থানীয় ও বহিরাগত সকল মানুষের জন্যে সমভাবে এবং যে মসজিদে হারামে অন্যায়ভাবে কোন ধর্মদ্রোহী কাজ করার ইচছা করে, আমি তাদেরকে যন্ত্রানাদায়ক শাস্তি আস্বাদন করাব।
As to those who have rejected (Allah), and would keep back (men) from the Way of Allah, and from the Sacred Mosque, which We have made (open) to (all) men - equal is the dweller there and the visitor from the country - and any whose purpose therein is profanity or wrong-doing - them will We cause to taste of a most Grievous Penalty. |
(হাজ্জ্ব:
আয়াতঃ ২৫) |
| 29 |
আল্লাহ মুশরিকদেরকে বলবেন, তোমাদের কথা তো তারা মিথ্যা সাব্যস্ত করল, এখন তোমরা শাস্তি প্রতিরোধ করতে পারবে না এবং সাহায্যও করতে পারবে না। তোমাদের মধ্যে যে গোনাহগার আমি তাকে গুরুতর শাস্তি আস্বাদন করাব।
(Allah will say): "Now have they proved you liars in what ye say: so ye cannot avert (your penalty) nor (get) help." And whoever among you does wrong, him shall We cause to taste of a grievous Penalty. |
(আল-ফুরকান:
আয়াতঃ ১৯) |
| 30 |
তিনিই সমান্তরালে দুই সমুদ্র প্রবাহিত করেছেন, এটি মিষ্ট, তৃষ্ণা নিবারক ও এটি লোনা, বিস্বাদ; উভয়ের মাঝখানে রেখেছেন একটি অন্তরায়, একটি দুর্ভেদ্য আড়াল।
It is He Who has let free the two bodies of flowing water: One palatable and sweet, and the other salt and bitter; yet has He made a barrier between them, a partition that is forbidden to be passed. |
(আল-ফুরকান:
আয়াতঃ ৫৩) |
| 31 |
যেদিন আযাব তাদেরকে ঘেরাও করবে মাথার উপর থেকে এবং পায়ের নীচ থেকে। আল্লাহ বললেন, তোমরা যা করতে, তার স্বাদ গ্রহণ কর।
On the Day that the Punishment shall cover them from above them and from below them, and (a Voice) shall say: "Taste ye (the fruits) of your deeds!" |
(আল আনকাবুত:
আয়াতঃ ৫৫) |
| 32 |
জীবমাত্রই মৃত্যুর স্বাদ গ্রহণ করবে। অতঃপর তোমরা আমারই কাছে প্রত্যাবর্তিত হবে।
Every soul shall have a taste of death in the end to Us shall ye be brought back. |
(আল আনকাবুত:
আয়াতঃ ৫৭) |

মানুষকে যখন দুঃখ-কষ্ট স্পর্শ করে, তখন তারা তাদের পালনকর্তাকে আহবান করে তাঁরই অভিমুখী হয়ে। অতঃপর তিনি যখন তাদেরকে রহমতের স্বাদ আস্বাদন করান, তখন তাদের একদল তাদের পালনকর্তার সাথে শিরক করতে থাকে,
When trouble touches men, they cry to their Lord, turning back to Him in repentance: but when He gives them a taste of Mercy as from Himself, behold, some of them pay part-worship to other god's besides their Lord,- |

আর যখন আমি মানুষকে রহমতের স্বাদ আস্বাদন করাই, তারা তাতে আনন্দিত হয় এবং তাদের কৃতকর্মের ফলে যদি তাদেরকে কোন দুদর্শা পায়, তবে তারা হতাশ হয়ে পড়ে।
When We give men a taste of Mercy, they exult thereat: and when some evil afflicts them because of what their (own) hands have sent forth, behold, they are in despair! |
(আর-রূম:
আয়াতঃ ৩৬) |

স্থলে ও জলে মানুষের কৃতকর্মের দরুন বিপর্যয় ছড়িয়ে পড়েছে। আল্লাহ তাদেরকে তাদের কর্মের শাস্তি আস্বাদন করাতে চান, যাতে তারা ফিরে আসে।
Mischief has appeared on land and sea because of (the meed) that the hands of men have earned, that (Allah) may give them a taste of some of their deeds: in order that they may turn back (from Evil). |

তাঁর নিদর্শনসমূহের মধ্যে একটি এই যে, তিনি সুসংবাদবাহী বায়ু প্রেরণ করেন, যাতে তিনি তাঁর অনুগ্রহ তোমাদের আস্বাদন করান এবং যাতে তাঁর নির্দেশে জাহাজসমূহ বিচরণ করে এবং যাতে তোমরা তাঁর অনুগ্রহ তালাশ কর এবং তাঁর প্রতি কৃতজ্ঞ হও।
Among His Signs is this, that He sends the Winds, as heralds of Glad Tidings, giving you a taste of His (Grace and) Mercy,- that the ships may sail (majestically) by His Command and that ye may seek of His Bounty: in order that ye may be grateful. |

অতএব এ দিবসকে ভূলে যাওয়ার কারণে তোমরা মজা আস্বাদন কর। আমিও তোমাদেরকে ভুলে গেলাম। তোমরা তোমাদের কৃতকর্মের কারণে স্থায়ী আযাব ভোগ কর।
"Taste ye then - for ye forgot the Meeting of this Day of yours, and We too will forget you - taste ye the Penalty of Eternity for your (evil) deeds!" |

আয়াতঃ ১৪) |

পক্ষান্তরে যারা অবাধ্য হয়, তাদের ঠিকানা জাহান্নাম। যখনই তারা জাহান্নাম থেকে বের হতে চাইবে, তখনই তাদেরকে তথায় ফিরিয়ে দেয়া হবে এবং তাদেরকে বলা হবে, তোমরা জাহান্নামের যে আযাবকে মিথ্যা বলতে, তার স্বাদ আস্বাদন কর।
As to those who are rebellious and wicked, their abode will be the Fire: every time they wish to get away therefrom, they will be forced thereinto, and it will be said to them: "Taste ye the Penalty of the Fire, the which ye were wont to reject as false." |

আয়াতঃ ২০) |

গুরু শাস্তির পূর্বে আমি অবশ্যই তাদেরকে লঘু শাস্তি আস্বাদন করাব, যাতে তারা প্রত্যাবর্তন করে।
And indeed We will make them taste of the Penalty of this (life) prior to the supreme Penalty, in order that they may (repent and) return. |

আর আমি সোলায়মানের অধীন করেছিলাম বায়ুকে, যা সকালে এক মাসের পথ এবং বিকালে এক মাসের পথ অতিক্রম করত। আমি তার জন্যে গলিত তামার এক ঝরণা প্রবাহিত করেছিলাম। কতক জিন তার সামনে কাজ করত তার পালনকর্তার আদেশে। তাদের যে কেউ আমার আদেশ অমান্য করবে, আমি জ্বলন্ত অগ্নির-শাস্তি আস্বাদন করাব।
And to Solomon (We made) the Wind (obedient): Its early morning (stride) was a month's (journey), and its evening (stride) was a month's (journey); and We made a Font of molten brass to flow for him; and there were Jinns that worked in front of him, by the leave of his Lord, and if any of them turned aside from our command, We made him taste of the Penalty of the Blazing Fire. |

অতঃপর তারা অবাধ্যতা করল ফলে আমি তাদের উপর প্রেরণ করলাম প্রবল বন্যা! আর তাদের উদ্যানদ্বয়কে পরিবর্তন করে দিলাম এমন দুই উদ্যানে, যাতে উদগত হয় বিস্বাদ ফলমূল, ঝাউ গাছ এবং সামান্য কুলবৃক্ষ।
But they turned away (from Allah), and We sent against them the Flood (released) from the dams, and We converted their two garden (rows) into "gardens" producing bitter fruit, and tamarisks, and some few (stunted) Lote-trees. |

অতএব আজকের দিনে তোমরা একে অপরের কোন উপকার ও অপকার করার অধিকারী হবে না আর আমি জালেমদেরকে বলব, তোমরা আগুনের যে শাস্তিকে মিথ্যা বলতে তা আস্বাদন কর।
So on that Day no power shall they have over each other, for profit or harm: and We shall say to the wrong-doers, "Taste ye the Penalty of the Fire,- the which ye were wont to deny!" |
(সাবা:
আয়াতঃ ৪২) |
| 43 |
সেখানে তারা আর্ত চিৎকার করে বলবে, হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা, বের করুন আমাদেরকে, আমরা সৎকাজ করব, পূর্বে যা করতাম, তা করব না। (আল্লাহ বলবেন) আমি কি তোমাদেরকে এতটা বয়স দেইনি, যাতে যা চিন্তা করার বিষয় চিন্তা করতে পারতে? উপরন্তু তোমাদের কাছে সতর্ককারীও আগমন করেছিল। অতএব আস্বাদন কর। জালেমদের জন্যে কোন সাহায্যকারী নেই।
Therein will they cry aloud (for assistance): "Our Lord! Bring us out: we shall work righteousness, not the (deeds) we used to do!" - "Did We not give you long enough life so that he that would should receive admonition? and (moreover) the warner came to you. So taste ye (the fruits of your deeds): for the wrong-doers there is no helper." |
(ফাতির:
আয়াতঃ ৩৭) |

আমাদের বিপক্ষে আমাদের পালনকর্তার উক্তিই সত্য হয়েছে। আমাদেরকে অবশই স্বাদ আস্বাদন করতে হবে।
"So now has been proved true, against us, the word of our Lord that we shall indeed (have to) taste (the punishment of our sins). |
(আস-সাফফাত:
আয়াতঃ ৩১) |

তোমরা অবশ্যই বেদনাদায়ক শাস্তি আস্বাদন করবে।
Ye shall indeed taste of the Grievous Penalty;- |
(আস-সাফফাত:

সুশুভ্র, যা পানকারীদের জন্যে সুস্বাদু।
Crystal-white, of a taste delicious to those who drink (thereof), |

আমাদের মধ্য থেকে শুধু কি তারই প্রতি উপদেশ বানী অবতীর্ণ হল? বস্তুতঃ ওরা আমার উপদেশ সম্পর্কে সন্দিহান; বরং ওরা এখনও আমার মার আস্বাদন করেনি।
"What! has the Message been sent to him - (Of all persons) among us?"... but they are in doubt concerning My (Own) Message! Nay, they have not yet tasted My Punishment! |

আয়াতঃ ৮) |
| 48 |
এটা উত্তপ্ত পানি ও পঁূজ; অতএব তারা একে আস্বাদন করুক।
Yea, such! - then shall they taste it,- a boiling fluid, and a fluid dark, murky, intensely cold!- |
(ছোয়াদ:
আয়াতঃ ৫৭) |

যে ব্যক্তি কেয়ামতের দিন তার মুখ দ্বারা অশুভ আযাব ঠেকাবে এবং এরূপ জালেমদেরকে বলা হবে, তোমরা যা করতে তার স্বাদ আস্বাদন কর,-সে কি তার সমান, যে এরূপ নয়?
Is, then, one who has to fear the brunt of the Penalty on the Day of Judgment (and receive it) on his face, (like one guarded therefrom)? It will be said to the wrong-doers: "Taste ye (the fruits of) what ye earned!" |
(আল-যুমার:
আয়াতঃ ২৪) |
| 50 |
অতঃপর আল্লাহ তাদেরকে পার্থিব জীবনে লাঞ্ছনার স্বাদ আস্বাদন করালেন, আর পরকালের আযাব হবে আরও গুরুতর, যদি তারা জানত!
So Allah gave them a taste of humiliation in the present life, but greater is the punishment of the Hereafter, if they only knew! |

| 51 |
অতঃপর আমি তাদেরকে পার্থিব জীবনে লাঞ্ছনার আযাব আস্বাদন করানোর জন্যে তাদের উপর প্রেরণ করলাম ঝঞ্ঝাবায়ু বেশ কতিপয় অশুভ দিনে। আর পরকালের আযাব তো আরও লাঞ্ছনাকর এমতাবস্থায় যে, তারা সাহায্যপ্রাপ্ত হবে না।
So We sent against them a furious Wind through days of disaster, that We might give them a taste of a Penalty of humiliation in this life; but the Penalty of a Hereafter will be more humiliating still: and they will find no help. |
(হা-মীম সেজদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১৬) |
| 52 |
আমি অবশ্যই কাফেরদেরকে কঠিন আযাব আস্বাদন করাব এবং আমি অবশ্যই তাদেরকে তাদের মন্দ ও হীন কাজের প্রতিফল দেব।
But We will certainly give the Unbelievers a taste of a severe Penalty, and We will requite them for the worst of their deeds. |
(হা-মীম সেজদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ২৭) |
| 53 |
বিপদাপদ স্পর্শ করার পর আমি যদি তাকে আমার অনুগ্রহ আস্বাদন করাই, তখন সে বলতে থাকে, এটা যে আমার যোগ্য প্রাপ্য; আমি মনে করি না যে, কেয়ামত সংঘটিত হবে। আমি যদি আমার পালনকর্তার কাছে ফিরে যাই, তবে অবশ্যই তার কাছে আমার জন্য কল্যাণ রয়েছে। অতএব, আমি কাফেরদেরকে তাদের কর্ম সম্পর্কে অবশ্যই অবহিত করব এবং তাদেরকে অবশ্যই আস্বাদন করাব কঠিন শাস্তি।
When we give him a taste of some Mercy from Ourselves, after some adversity has touched him, he is sure to say, "This is due to my (merit): I think not that the Hour (of Judgment) will (ever) be established; but if I am brought back to my Lord, I have (much) good (stored) in His sight!" But We will show the Unbelievers the truth of all that they did, and We shall give them the taste of a severe Penalty. |
(হা-মীম সেজদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৫০) |
| 54 |
যদি তারা মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয়, তবে আপনাকে আমি তাদের রক্ষক করে পাঠাইনি। আপনার কর্তব্য কেবল প্রচার করা। আমি তাদের রক্ষক করে পাঠাইনি। আপনার কর্তব্য কেবল প্রচার করা। আমি যখন মানুষকে আমার রহমত আস্বাদন করাই, তখন সে উল্লসিত, আর যখন তাদের কৃতকর্মের কারণে তাদের কোন অনিষ্ট ঘটে, তখন মানুষ খুব অকৃতজ্ঞ হয়ে যায়।
If then they run away, We have not sent thee as a guard over them. Thy duty is but to convey (the Message). And truly, when We give man a taste of a Mercy from Ourselves, he doth exult thereat, but when some ill happens to him, on account of the deeds which his hands have sent forth, truly then is man ungrateful! |

স্বাদ গ্রহণ কর, তুমি তো সম্মানিত, সম্ভ্রান্ত।
"Taste thou (this)! Truly wast thou mighty, full of honour! |
(আদ দোখান:
আয়াতঃ ৪৯) |
| 56 |
তারা সেখানে মৃত্যু আস্বাদন করবে না, প্রথম মৃত্যু ব্যতীত এবং আপনার পালনকর্তা তাদেরকে জাহান্নামের আযাব থেকে রক্ষা করবেন।
Nor will they there taste Death, except the first death; and He will preserve them from the Penalty of the Blazing Fire,- |

আয়াতঃ ৫৬) |
| 57 |
যেদিন কাফেরদেরকে জাহান্নামের সামনে পেশ করা হবে, সেদিন বলা হবে, এটা কি সত্য নয়? তারা বলবে, হঁ্যা আমাদের পালনকর্তার শপথ। আল্লাহ বলবেন, আযাব আস্বাদন কর। কারণ, তোমরা কুফরী করতে।
And on the Day that the Unbelievers will be placed before the Fire, (they will be asked,) "Is this not the Truth?" they will say, "Yea, by our Lord!" (One will say:) "Then taste ye the Penalty, for that ye were wont to deny (Truth)!" |

আয়াতঃ ৩৪) |

পরহেযগারদেরকে যে জান্নাতের ওয়াদা দেয়া হয়েছে, তার অবস্থা নিম্নরূপঃ তাতে আছে পানির নহর, নির্মল দুধের নহর যারা স্বাদ অপরিবর্তনীয়, পানকারীদের জন্যে সুস্বাদু শরাবের নহর এবং পরিশোধিত মধুর নহর। তথায় তাদের জন্যে আছে রকমারি ফল-মূল ও তাদের পালনকর্তার ক্ষমা। পরহেযগাররা কি তাদের সমান, যারা জাহান্নামে অনন্তকাল থাকবে এবং যাদেরকে পান করতে দেয়া হবে ফুটন্ত পানি অতঃপর তা তাদের নাড়িভূঁড়ি ছিন্ন বিচ্ছিন্ন করে দেবে?
(Here is) a Parable of the Garden which the righteous are promised: in it are rivers of water incorruptible; rivers of milk of which the taste never changes; rivers of wine, a joy to those who drink; and rivers of honey pure and clear. In it there are for them all kinds of fruits; and Grace from their Lord. (Can those in such Bliss) be compared to such as shall dwell for ever in the Fire, and be given, to drink, boiling water, so that it cuts up their bowels (to pieces)? |

আয়াতঃ ১৫) |

তোমরা তোমাদের শাস্তি আস্বাদন কর। তোমরা একেই ত্বরান্বিত করতে চেয়েছিল।
"Taste ye your trial! This is what ye used to ask to be hastened!" |
(আয-যারিয়াত:
আয়াতঃ ১৪) |

তারা লূতের (আঃ) কাছে তার মেহমানদেরকে দাবী করেছিল। তখন আমি তাদের চক্ষু লোপ করে দিলাম। অতএব, আস্বাদন কর আমার শাস্তি ও সতর্কবাণী।
And they even sought to snatch away his guests from him, but We blinded their eyes. (They heard:) "Now taste ye My Wrath and My Warning." |
(আল ক্বামার:
আয়াতঃ ৩৭) |

অতএব, আমার শাস্তি ও সতর্কবাণী আস্বাদন কর।
"So taste ye My Wrath and My Warning." |
(আল ক্বামার:
আয়াতঃ ৩৯) |
| 62 |
যেদিন তাদেরকে মুখ হিঁচড়ে টেনে নেয়া হবে জাহান্নামে, বলা হবেঃ অগ্নির খাদ্য আস্বাদন কর।
The Day they will be dragged through the Fire on their faces, (they will hear:) "Taste ye the touch of Hell!" |

আয়াতঃ ৪৮) |

তোমাদের পুর্বে যারা কাফের ছিল, তাদের বৃত্তান্ত কি তোমাদের কাছে পৌছেনি? তারা তাদের কর্মের শাস্তি আস্বাদন করেছে, এবং তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে যন্ত্রণাদায়ক শাস্তি।
Has not the story reached you, of those who rejected Faith aforetime? So they tasted the evil result of their conduct; and they had a grievous Penalty. |
(আত-তাগাবুন:
আয়াতঃ ৫) |
| 64 |
অতঃপর তাদের কর্মের শাস্তি আস্বাদন করল এবং তাদের কর্মের পরিণাম ক্ষতিই ছিল।
Then did they taste the evil result of their conduct, and the End of their conduct was Perdition. |

তথায় তারা কোন শীতল এবং পানীয় আস্বাদন করবে না;
Nothing cool shall they taste therein, nor any drink, |
(আন-নাবা:
আয়াতঃ ২৪) |

অতএব, তোমরা আস্বাদন কর, আমি কেবল তোমাদের শাস্তিই বৃদ্ধি করব।
"So taste ye (the fruits of your deeds); for no increase shall We grant you, except in Punishment." |
