মানবকূলকে মোহগ্রস্ত করেছে নারী, সন্তান-সন্ততি, রাশিকৃত স্বর্ণ-রৌপ্য, চিহ্নিত অশ্ব, গবাদি পশুরাজি এবং ক্ষেত-খামারের মত আকর্ষণীয় বস্তুসামগ্রী। এসবই হচ্ছে পার্থিব জীবনের ভোগ্য বস্তু। আল্লাহর নিকটই হলো উত্তম আশ্রয়।
Fair in the eyes of men is the love of things they covet: Women and sons; Heaped-up hoards of gold and silver; horses branded (for blood and excellence); and (wealth of) cattle and well-tilled land. Such are the possessions of this world's life; but in nearness to Allah is the best of the goals (To return to). |

যদি সারা পৃথিবী পরিমাণ স্বর্ণও তার পরিবর্তে দেয়া হয়, তবুও যারা কাফের হয়েছে এবং কাফের অবস্থায় মৃত্যুবরণ করেছে তাদের তওবা কবুল করা হবে না। তাদের জন্য রয়েছে যন্ত্রণাদায়ক আযাব! পক্ষান্তরে তাদের কোনই সাহায্যকারী নেই।
As to those who reject Faith, and die rejecting,- never would be accepted from any such as much gold as the earth contains, though they should offer it for ransom. For such is (in store) a penalty grievous, and they will find no helpers. |

হে ঈমানদারগণ! পন্ডিত ও সংসারবিরাগীদের অনেকে লোকদের মালামাল অন্যায়ভাবে ভোগ করে চলছে এবং আল্লাহর পথ থেকে লোকদের নিবৃত রাখছে। আর যারা স্বর্ণ ও রূপা জমা করে রাখে এবং তা ব্যয় করে না আল্লাহর পথে, তাদের কঠোর আযাবের সুসংবাদ শুনিয়ে দিন।
O ye who believe! there are indeed many among the priests and anchorites, who in Falsehood devour the substance of men and hinder (them) from the way of Allah. And there are those who bury gold and silver and spend it not in the way of Allah: announce unto them a most grievous penalty- |

তাদেরই জন্যে আছে বসবাসের জান্নাত। তাদের পাদদেশে প্রবাহিত হয় নহরসমূহ। তাদের তথায় স্বর্ণ-কংকনে অলংকৃত করা হবে এবং তারা পাতলা ও মোটা রেশমের সবুজ কাপর পরিধান করবে এমতাবস্থায় যে, তারা সিংহাসনে সমাসীন হবে। চমৎকার প্রতিদান এবং কত উত্তম আশ্রয়।
For them will be Gardens of Eternity; beneath them rivers will flow; they will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold, and they will wear green garments of fine silk and heavy brocade: They will recline therein on raised thrones. How good the recompense! How beautiful a couch to recline on! |

নিশ্চয় যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে এবং সৎকর্ম করে, আল্লাহ তাদেরকে দাখিল করবেন উদ্যান সমূহে, যার তলদেশ দিয়ে নির্ঝরিণীসমূহ প্রবাহিত হবে। তাদেরকে তথায় স্বর্ণ-কংকন ও মুক্তা দ্বারা অলংকৃত করা হবে এবং তথায় তাদের পোশাক হবে রেশমী।
Allah will admit those who believe and work righteous deeds, to Gardens beneath which rivers flow: they shall be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and pearls; and their garments there will be of silk. |

আয়াতঃ ২৩) |

তারা প্রবেশ করবে বসবাসের জান্নাতে। তথায় তারা স্বর্ণনির্মিত, মোতি খচিত কংকন দ্বারা অলংকৃত হবে। সেখানে তাদের পোশাক হবে রেশমের।
Gardens of Eternity will they enter: therein will they be adorned with bracelets of gold and pearls; and their garments there will be of silk. |

এবং স্বর্ণনির্মিতও দিতাম। এগুলো সবই তো পার্থিব জীবনের ভোগ সামগ্রী মাত্র। আর পরকাল আপনার পালনকর্তার কাছে তাঁদের জন্যেই যারা ভয় করে।
And also adornments of gold. But all this were nothing but conveniences of the present life: The Hereafter, in the sight of thy Lord is for the Righteous. |

আয়াতঃ ৩৫) |

তাকে কেন স্বর্ণবলয় পরিধান করানো হল না, অথবা কেন আসল না তার সঙ্গে ফেরেশতাগণ দল বেঁধে?
"Then why are not gold bracelets bestowed on him, or (why) come (not) with him angels accompanying him in procession?" |

তাদের কাছে পরিবেশন করা হবে স্বর্ণের থালা ও পানপাত্র এবং তথায় রয়েছে মনে যা চায় এবং নয়ন যাতে তৃপ্ত হয়। তোমরা তথায় চিরকাল অবস্থান করবে।
To them will be passed round, dishes and goblets of gold: there will be there all that the souls could desire, all that their eyes could delight in: and ye shall abide therein (for eye). |

স্বর্ণ খচিত সিংহাসন।
(They will be) on Thrones encrusted (with gold and precious stones), |
