আল্লাহর নিকট মানুষের মর্যাদা বিভিন্ন স্তরের আর আল্লাহ দেখেন যা কিছু তারা করে।
They are in varying gardens in the sight of Allah, and Allah sees well all that they do. |

নিঃসন্দেহে মুনাফেকরা রয়েছে দোযখের সর্বনিম্ন স্তরে। আর তোমরা তাদের জন্য কোন সাহায্যকারী কখনও পাবে না।
The Hypocrites will be in the lowest depths of the Fire: no helper wilt thou find for them;- |

অবশ্য তারা যদি তওবা করে, নামায কায়েম করে আর যাকাত আদায় করে, তবে তারা তোমাদের দ্বীনী ভাই। আর আমি বিধানসমূহে জ্ঞানী লোকদের জন্যে সর্বস্তরে র্বণনা করে থাকি।
But (even so), if they repent, establish regular prayers, and practise regular charity,- they are your brethren in Faith: (thus) do We explain the Signs in detail, for those who understand. |

অবশেষে যখন আমার হুকুম এসে পৌঁছাল, তখন আমি উক্ত জনপদকে উপরকে নীচে করে দিলাম এবং তার উপর স্তরে স্তরে কাঁকর পাথর বর্ষণ করলাম।
When Our Decree issued, We turned (the cities) upside down, and rained down on them brimstones hard as baked clay, spread, layer on layer,- |

তুমি কি দেখ না যে, আল্লাহ মেঘমালাকে সঞ্চালিত করেন, অতঃপর তাকে পুঞ্জীভূত করেন, অতঃপর তাকে স্তরে স্তরে রাখেন; অতঃপর তুমি দেখ যে, তার মধ্য থেকে বারিধারা নির্গত হয়। তিনি আকাশস্থিত শিলাস্তুপ থেকে শিলাবর্ষণ করেন এবং তা দ্বারা যাকে ইচ্ছা আঘাত করেন এবং যার কাছ থেকে ইচ্ছা, তা অন্যদিকে ফিরিয়ে দেন। তার বিদ্যুৎঝলক দৃষ্টিশক্তি যেন বিলীন করে দিতে চায়।
Seest thou not that Allah makes the clouds move gently, then joins them together, then makes them into a heap? - then wilt thou see rain issue forth from their midst. And He sends down from the sky mountain masses (of clouds) wherein is hail: He strikes therewith whom He pleases and He turns it away from whom He pleases, the vivid flash of His lightning well-nigh blinds the sight. |

তিনি আল্লাহ, যিনি বায়ু প্রেরণ করেন, অতঃপর তা মেঘমালাকে সঞ্চারিত করে। অতঃপর তিনি মেঘমালাকে যেভাবে ইচ্ছা আকাশে ছড়িয়ে দেন এবং তাকে স্তরে স্তরে রাখেন। এরপর তুমি দেখতে পাও তার মধ্য থেকে নির্গত হয় বৃষ্টিধারা। তিনি তাঁর বান্দাদের মধ্যে যাদেরকে ইচ্ছা পৌঁছান; তখন তারা আনন্দিত হয়।
It is Allah Who sends the Winds, and they raise the Clouds: then does He spread them in the sky as He wills, and break them into fragments, until thou seest rain-drops issue from the midst thereof: then when He has made them reach such of his servants as He wills behold, they do rejoice!- |

তিনি সপ্ত আকাশ স্তরে স্তরে সৃষ্টি করেছেন। তুমি করুণাময় আল্লাহ তা’আলার সৃষ্টিতে কোন তফাত দেখতে পাবে না। আবার দৃষ্টিফেরাও; কোন ফাটল দেখতে পাও কি?
He Who created the seven heavens one above another: No want of proportion wilt thou see in the Creation of (Allah) Most Gracious. So turn thy vision again: seest thou any flaw? |

তোমরা কি লক্ষ্য কর না যে, আল্লাহ কিভাবে সপ্ত আকাশ স্তরে স্তরে সৃষ্টি করেছেন।
"'See ye not how Allah has created the seven heavens one above another, |
