অতঃপর ফেরাউন তার সৈন্যবাহিনী নিয়ে তাদের পশ্চাদ্ধাবন করল এবং সমুদ্র তাদেরকে সম্পূর্ণরূপে নিমজ্জত করল।
Then Pharaoh pursued them with his forces, but the waters completely overwhelmed them and covered them up. |

ফিরে যাও তাদের কাছে। এখন অবশ্যই আমি তাদের বিরুদ্ধে এক সৈন্যবাহিনী নিয়ে আসব, যার মোকাবেলা করার শক্তি তাদের নেই। আমি অবশ্যই তাদেরকে অপদস্থ করে সেখান থেকে বহিষ্কৃত করব এবং তারা হবে লাঞ্ছিত।
"Go back to them, and be sure we shall come to them with such hosts as they will never be able to meet: We shall expel them from there in disgrace, and they will feel humbled (indeed)." |

অতঃপর ফেরাউন পরিবার মূসাকে কুড়িয়ে নিল, যাতে তিনি তাদের শত্রু ও দুঃখের কারণ হয়ে যান। নিশ্চয় ফেরাউন, হামান, ও তাদের সৈন্যবাহিনী অপরাধী ছিল।
Then the people of Pharaoh picked him up (from the river): (It was intended) that (Moses) should be to them an adversary and a cause of sorrow: for Pharaoh and Haman and (all) their hosts were men of sin. |

হে মুমিনগণ! তোমরা তোমাদের প্রতি আল্লাহর নেয়ামতের কথা স্মরণ কর, যখন শত্রুবাহিনী তোমাদের নিকটবর্তী হয়েছিল, অতঃপর আমি তাদের বিরুদ্ধে ঝঞ্চাবায়ু এবং এমন সৈন্যবাহিনী প্রেরণ করেছিলাম, যাদেরকে তোমরা দেখতে না। তোমরা যা কর, আল্লাহ তা দেখেন।
O ye who believe! Remember the Grace of Allah, (bestowed) on you, when there came down on you hosts (to overwhelm you): But We sent against them a hurricane and forces that ye saw not: but Allah sees (clearly) all that ye do. |
