তোমরা ভয় কর সেদিনকে, যে দিন এক ব্যক্তি থেকে অন্য ব্যক্তি বিন্দুমাত্র উপকৃত হবে না, কারও কাছ থেকে বিনিময় গৃহীত হবে না, কার ও সুপারিশ ফলপ্রদ হবে না এবং তারা সাহায্য প্রাপ্ত ও হবে না।
Then guard yourselves against a Day when one soul shall not avail another, nor shall compensation be accepted from her nor shall intercession profit her nor shall anyone be helped (from outside). |

অতএব, তোমরা কিরূপে আত্নরক্ষা করবে যদি তোমরা সেদিনকে অস্বীকার কর, যেদিন বালককে করে দিব বৃদ্ধ?
Then how shall ye, if ye deny (Allah), guard yourselves against a Day that will make children hoary-headed?- |

তারা মান্নত পূর্ণ করে এবং সেদিনকে ভয় করে, যেদিনের অনিষ্ট হবে সুদূরপ্রসারী।
They perform (their) vows, and they fear a Day whose evil flies far and wide. |
