সম্মানিত মাসই সম্মানিত মাসের বদলা। আর সম্মান রক্ষা করারও বদলা রয়েছে। বস্তুতঃ যারা তোমাদের উপর জবর দস্তি করেছে, তোমরা তাদের উপর জবরদস্তি কর, যেমন জবরদস্তি তারা করেছে তোমাদের উপর। আর তোমরা আল্লাহকে ভয় কর এবং জেনে রাখ, যারা পরহেযগার, আল্লাহ তাদের সাথে রয়েছেন।
The prohibited month for the prohibited month,- and so for all things prohibited,- there is the law of equality. If then any one transgresses the prohibition against you, Transgress ye likewise against him. But fear Allah, and know that Allah is with those who restrain themselves. |

সম্মানিত মাস সম্পর্কে তোমার কাছে জিজ্ঞেস করে যে, তাতে যুদ্ধ করা কেমন? বলে দাও এতে যুদ্ধ করা ভীষণ বড় পাপ। আর আল্লাহর পথে প্রতিবন্দ্বকতা সৃষ্টি করা এবং কুফরী করা, মসজিদে-হারামের পথে বাধা দেয়া এবং সেখানকার অধিবাসীদেরকে বহিস্কার করা, আল্লাহর নিকট তার চেয়েও বড় পাপ। আর ধর্মের ব্যাপারে ফেতনা সৃষ্টি করা নরহত্যা অপেক্ষাও মহা পাপ। বস্তুতঃ তারা তো সর্বদাই তোমাদের সাথে যুদ্ধ করতে থাকবে, যাতে করে তোমাদিগকে দ্বীন থেকে ফিরিয়ে দিতে পারে যদি সম্ভব হয়। তোমাদের মধ্যে যারা নিজের দ্বীন থেকে ফিরে দাঁড়াবে এবং কাফের অবস্থায় মৃত্যুবরণ করবে, দুনিয়া ও আখেরাতে তাদের যাবতীয় আমল বিনষ্ট হয়ে যাবে। আর তারাই হলো দোযখবাসী। তাতে তারা চিরকাল বাস করবে।
They ask thee concerning fighting in the Prohibited Month. Say: "Fighting therein is a grave (offence); but graver is it in the sight of Allah to prevent access to the path of Allah, to deny Him, to prevent access to the Sacred Mosque, and drive out its members." Tumult and oppression are worse than slaughter. Nor will they cease fighting you until they turn you back from your faith if they can. And if any of you Turn back from their faith and die in unbelief, their works will bear no fruit in this life and in the Hereafter; they will be companions of the Fire and will abide therein. |

বলুন ইয়া আল্লাহ! তুমিই সার্বভৌম শক্তির অধিকারী। তুমি যাকে ইচ্ছা রাজ্য দান কর এবং যার কাছ থেকে ইচ্ছা রাজ্য ছিনিয়ে নাও এবং যাকে ইচ্ছা সম্মান দান কর আর যাকে ইচ্ছা অপমানে পতিত কর। তোমারই হাতে রয়েছে যাবতীয় কল্যাণ। নিশ্চয়ই তুমি সর্ব বিষয়ে ক্ষমতাশীল।
Say: "O Allah! Lord of Power (And Rule), Thou givest power to whom Thou pleasest, and Thou strippest off power from whom Thou pleasest: Thou enduest with honour whom Thou pleasest, and Thou bringest low whom Thou pleasest: In Thy hand is all good. Verily, over all things Thou hast power. |

যখন ফেরেশতাগণ বললো, হে মারইয়াম আল্লাহ তোমাকে তাঁর এক বানীর সুসংবাদ দিচ্ছেন, যার নাম হলো মসীহ-মারইয়াম-তনয় ঈসা, দুনিয়া ও আখেরাতে তিনি মহাসম্মানের অধিকারী এবং আল্লাহর ঘনিষ্ঠদের অন্তর্ভূক্ত।
Behold! the angels said: "O Mary! Allah giveth thee glad tidings of a Word from Him: his name will be Christ Jesus, the son of Mary, held in honour in this world and the Hereafter and of (the company of) those nearest to Allah; |

যেগুলো সম্পর্কে তোমাদের নিষেধ করা হয়েছে যদি তোমরা সেসব বড় গোনাহ গুলো থেকে বেঁচে থাকতে পার। তবে আমি তোমাদের ক্রটি-বিচ্যুতিগুলো ক্ষমা করে দেব এবং সম্মান জনক স্থানে তোমাদের প্রবেশ করার।
If ye (but) eschew the most heinous of the things which ye are forbidden to do, We shall expel out of you all the evil in you, and admit you to a gate of great honour. |

যারা মুসলমানদের বর্জন করে কাফেরদেরকে নিজেদের বন্ধু বানিয়ে নেয় এবং তাদেরই কাছে সম্মান প্রত্যাশা করে, অথচ যাবতীয় সম্মান শুধুমাত্র আল্লাহরই জন্য।
Yea, to those who take for friends unbelievers rather than believers: is it honour they seek among them? Nay,- all honour is with Allah. |

হে মুমিনগণ! হালাল মনে করো না আল্লাহর নিদর্শনসমূহ এবং সম্মানিত মাসসমূহকে এবং হরমে কুরবানীর জন্যে নির্দিষ্ট জন্তুকে এবং ঐসব জন্তুকে, যাদের গলায় কন্ঠাভরণ রয়েছে এবং ঐসব লোককে যারা সম্মানিত গৃহ অভিমুখে যাচ্ছে, যারা স্বীয় পালনকর্তার অনুগ্রহ ও সন্তুষ্টি কামনা করে। যখন তোমরা এহরাম থেকে বের হয়ে আস, তখন শিকার কর। যারা পবিত্র মসজিদ থেকে তোমাদেরকে বাধা প্রদান করেছিল, সেই সম্প্রদায়ের শুত্রুতা যেন তোমাদেরকে সীমালঙ্ঘনে প্ররোচিত না করে। সৎকর্ম ও খোদাভীতিতে একে অন্যের সাহায্য কর। পাপ ও সীমালঙ্ঘনের ব্যাপারে একে অন্যের সহায়তা করো না। আল্লাহকে ভয় কর। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ তা’আলা কঠোর শাস্তিদাতা।
O ye who believe! Violate not the sanctity of the symbols of Allah, nor of the sacred month, nor of the animals brought for sacrifice, nor the garlands that mark out such animals, nor the people resorting to the sacred house, seeking of the bounty and good pleasure of their Lord. But when ye are clear of the sacred precincts and of pilgrim garb, ye may hunt and let not the hatred of some people in (once) shutting you out of the Sacred Mosque lead you to transgression (and hostility on your part). Help ye one another in righteousness and piety, but help ye not one another in sin and rancour: fear Allah: for Allah is strict in punishment. |

আল্লাহ সম্মানিত গৃহ কাবাকে মানুষের স্থীতিশীলতার কারণ করেছেন এবং সম্মানিত মাসসমূকে, হারাম কোরবানীর জন্তুকে ও যাদের গলায় আবরণ রয়েছে। এর কারণ এই যে, যাতে তোমরা জেনে নাও যে, আল্লাহ নভোমন্ডল ও ভুমন্ডলের সব কিছু জানেন এবং আল্লাহ সর্ব বিষয়ে মহাজ্ঞানী।
Allah made the Ka'ba, the Sacred House, an asylum of security for men, as also the Sacred Months, the animals for offerings, and the garlands that mark them: That ye may know that Allah hath knowledge of what is in the heavens and on earth and that Allah is well acquainted with all things. |

তারাই হল সত্যিকার ঈমানদার! তাদের জন্য রয়েছে স্বীয় পরওয়ারদেগারের নিকট মর্যাদা, ক্ষমা এবং সম্মানজনক রুযী।
Such in truth are the believers: they have grades of dignity with their Lord, and forgiveness, and generous sustenance: |

আর যারা ঈমান এনেছে, নিজেদের ঘর-বাড়ী ছেড়েছে এবং আল্লাহর রাহে জেহাদ করেছে এবং যারা তাদেরকে আশ্রয় দিয়েছে, সাহায্য-সহায়তা করেছে, তাঁরা হলো সত্যিকার মুসলমান। তাঁদের জন্যে রয়েছে, ক্ষমা ও সম্মানজনক রুযী।
Those who believe, and adopt exile, and fight for the Faith, in the cause of Allah as well as those who give (them) asylum and aid,- these are (all) in very truth the Believers: for them is the forgiveness of sins and a provision most generous. |
(আল-আনফাল:

নিশ্চয় আল্লাহর বিধান ও গননায় মাস বারটি, আসমানসমূহ ও পৃথিবী সৃষ্টির দিন থেকে। তন্মধ্যে চারটি সম্মানিত। এটিই সুপ্রতিষ্ঠিত বিধান; সুতরাং এর মধ্যে তোমরা নিজেদের প্রতি অত্যাচার করো না। আর মুশরিকদের সাথে তোমরা যুদ্ধ কর সমবেতভাবে, যেমন তারাও তোমাদের সাথে যুদ্ধ করে যাচ্ছে সমবেতভাবে। আর মনে রেখো, আল্লাহ মুত্তাকীনদের সাথে রয়েছেন।
The number of months in the sight of Allah is twelve (in a year)- so ordained by Him the day He created the heavens and the earth; of them four are sacred: that is the straight usage. So wrong not yourselves therein, and fight the Pagans all together as they fight you all together. But know that Allah is with those who restrain themselves. |

আয়াতঃ ৩৬) |

মিসরে যে ব্যক্তি তাকে ক্রয় করল, সে তার স্ত্রীকে বললঃ একে সম্মানে রাখ। সম্ভবতঃ সে আমাদের কাছে আসবে অথবা আমরা তাকে পুত্ররূপে গ্রহণ করে নেব। এমনিভাবে আমি ইউসুফকে এদেশে প্রতিষ্ঠিত করলাম এবং এ জন্যে যে তাকে বাক্যাদির পূর্ণ মর্ম অনুধাবনের পদ্ধতি বিষয়ে শিক্ষা দেই। আল্লাহ নিজ কাজে প্রবল থাকেন, কিন্তু অধিকাংশ লোক তা জানে না।
The man in Egypt who bought him, said to his wife: "Make his stay (among us) honourable: may be he will bring us much good, or we shall adopt him as a son." Thus did We establish Joseph in the land, that We might teach him the interpretation of stories (and events). And Allah hath full power and control over His affairs; but most among mankind know it not. |

আয়াতঃ ২১) |
| 13 |
এদের দ্বারা তোমাদের সম্মান হয়, যখন বিকালে চারণভূমি থেকে নিয়ে আস এবং সকালে চারণ ভূমিতে নিয়ে যাও।
And ye have a sense of pride and beauty in them as ye drive them home in the evening, and as ye lead them forth to pasture in the morning. |
(নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ৬) |
| 14 |
তারা বললঃ দয়াময় আল্লাহ সন্তান গ্রহণ করেছে। তাঁর জন্য কখনও ইহা যোগ্য নয়; বরং তারা তো তাঁর সম্মানিত বান্দা।
And they say: "(Allah) Most Gracious has begotten offspring." Glory to Him! they are (but) servants raised to honour. |
(আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ২৬) |
| 15 |
তুমি কি দেখনি যে, আল্লাহকে সেজদা করে যা কিছু আছে নভোমন্ডলে, যা কিছু আছে ভুমন্ডলে, সূর্য, চন্দ্র, তারকারাজি পর্বতরাজি বৃক্ষলতা, জীবজন্তু এবং অনেক মানুষ। আবার অনেকের উপর অবধারিত হয়েছে শাস্তি। আল্লাহ যাকে ইচ্ছা লাঞ্ছিত করেন, তাকে কেউ সম্মান দিতে পারে না। আল্লাহ যা ইচ্ছা তাই করেন
Seest thou not that to Allah bow down in worship all things that are in the heavens and on earth,- the sun, the moon, the stars; the hills, the trees, the animals; and a great number among mankind? But a great number are (also) such as are fit for Punishment: and such as Allah shall disgrace,- None can raise to honour: for Allah carries out all that He wills. |
(হাজ্জ্ব:
আয়াতঃ ১৮) |
| 16 |
এটা শ্রবণযোগ্য। আর কেউ আল্লাহর সম্মানযোগ্য বিধানাবলীর প্রতি সম্মান প্রদর্শন করলে পালনকর্তার নিকট তা তার জন্যে উত্তম। উল্লেখিত ব্যতিক্রমগুলো ছাড়া তোমাদের জন্যে চতুস্পদ জন্তু হালাল করা হয়েছে। সুতরাং তোমরা মূর্তিদের অপবিত্রতা থেকে বেঁচে থাক এবং মিথ্যা কথন থেকে দূরে সরে থাক;
Such (is the Pilgrimage): whoever honours the sacred rites of Allah, for him it is good in the Sight of his Lord. Lawful to you (for food in Pilgrimage) are cattle, except those mentioned to you (as exception): but shun the abomination of idols, and shun the word that is false,- |

আয়াতঃ ৩০) |

এটা শ্রবণযোগ্য কেউ আল্লাহর নামযুক্ত বস্তুসমুহের প্রতি সম্মান প্রদর্শন করলে তা তো তার হৃদয়ের আল্লাহভীতি প্রসূত।
Such (is his state): and whoever holds in honour the symbols of Allah, (in the sacrifice of animals), such (honour) should come truly from piety of heart. |
(হাজ্জ্ব:
আয়াতঃ ৩২) |
| 18 |
সুতরাং যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছে এবং সৎকর্ম করেছে, তাদের জন্যে আছে পাপ মার্জনা এবং সম্মানজনক রুযী।
"Those who believe and work righteousness, for them is forgiveness and a sustenance most generous. |
(হাজ্জ্ব:
আয়াতঃ ৫০) |
| 19 |
অতএব শীর্ষ মহিমায় আল্লাহ, তিনি সত্যিকার মালিক, তিনি ব্যতীত কোন মাবুদ নেই। তিনি সম্মানিত আরশের মালিক।
Therefore exalted be Allah, the King, the Reality: there is no god but He, the Lord of the Throne of Honour! |
(আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ১১৬) |

দুশ্চরিত্রা নারীকূল দুশ্চরিত্র পুরুষকুলের জন্যে এবং দুশ্চরিত্র পুরুষকুল দুশ্চরিত্রা নারীকুলের জন্যে। সচ্চরিত্রা নারীকুল সচ্চরিত্র পুরুষকুলের জন্যে এবং সচ্চরিত্র পুরুষকুল সচ্চরিত্রা নারীকুলের জন্যে। তাদের সম্পর্কে লোকে যা বলে, তার সাথে তারা সম্পর্কহীন। তাদের জন্যে আছে ক্ষমা ও সম্মানজনক জীবিকা।
Women impure are for men impure, and men impure for women impure and women of purity are for men of purity, and men of purity are for women of purity: these are not affected by what people say: for them there is forgiveness, and a provision honourable. |

আয়াতঃ ২৬) |

বিলকীস বলল, হে পরিষদবর্গ, আমাকে একটি সম্মানিত পত্র দেয়া হয়েছে।
(The queen) said: "Ye chiefs! here is delivered to me - a letter worthy of respect. |
(নমল:
আয়াতঃ ২৯) |
| 22 |
আমি তো কেবল এই নগরীর প্রভুর এবাদত করতে আদিষ্ট হয়েছি, যিনি একে সম্মানিত করেছেন। এবং সব কিছু তাঁরই। আমি আরও আদিষ্ট হয়েছি যেন আমি আজ্ঞাবহদের একজন হই।
For me, I have been commanded to serve the Lord of this city, Him Who has sanctified it and to Whom (belong) all things: and I am commanded to be of those who bow in Islam to Allah's Will,- |

| 23 |
তোমাদের মধ্যে যে কেউ আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূলের অনুগত হবে এবং সৎকর্ম করবে, আমি তাকে দুবার পুরস্কার দেব এবং তার জন্য আমি সম্মান জনক রিযিক প্রস্তুত রেখেছি।
But any of you that is devout in the service of Allah and His Messenger, and works righteousness,- to her shall We grant her reward twice: and We have prepared for her a generous Sustenance. |
(আল আহযাব:
আয়াতঃ ৩১) |
| 24 |
যেদিন আল্লাহর সাথে মিলিত হবে; সেদিন তাদের অভিবাদন হবে সালাম। তিনি তাদের জন্যে সম্মানজনক পুরস্কার প্রস্তুত রেখেছেন।
Their salutation on the Day they meet Him will be "Peace!"; and He has prepared for them a generous Reward. |
(আল আহযাব:
আয়াতঃ ৪৪) |
| 25 |
তিনি পরিণামে যারা মুমিন ও সৎকর্ম পরায়ণ, তাদেরকে প্রতিদান দেবেন। তাদের জন্য রয়েছে ক্ষমা ও সম্মান জনক রিযিক।
That He may reward those who believe and work deeds of righteousness: for such is Forgiveness and a Sustenance Most Generous." |
(সাবা:
আয়াতঃ ৪) |
| 26 |
কেউ সম্মান চাইলে জেনে রাখুন, সমস্ত সম্মান আল্লাহরই জন্যে। তাঁরই দিকে আরোহণ করে সৎবাক্য এবং সৎকর্ম তাকে তুলে নেয়। যারা মন্দ কার্যের চক্রান্তে লেগে থাকে, তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে কঠোর শাস্তি। তাদের চক্রান্ত ব্যর্থ হবে।
If any do seek for glory and power,- to Allah belong all glory and power. To Him mount up (all) Words of Purity: It is He Who exalts each Deed of Righteousness. Those that lay Plots of Evil,- for them is a Penalty terrible; and the plotting of such will be void (of result). |
(ফাতির:
আয়াতঃ ১০) |
| 27 |
আপনি কেবল তাদেরকেই সতর্ক করতে পারেন, যারা উপদেশ অনুসরণ করে এবং দয়াময় আল্লাহকে না দেখে ভয় করে। অতএব আপনি তাদেরকে সুসংবাদ দিয়ে দিন ক্ষমা ও সম্মানজনক পুরস্কারের।
Thou canst but admonish such a one as follows the Message and fears the (Lord) Most Gracious, unseen: give such a one, therefore, good tidings, of Forgiveness and a Reward most generous. |
(ইয়াসীন:
আয়াতঃ ১১) |

যে আমার পরওয়ারদেগার আমাকে ক্ষমা করেছেন এবং আমাকে সম্মানিতদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত করেছেন।
"For that my Lord has granted me Forgiveness and has enrolled me among those held in honour!" |
(ইয়াসীন:
আয়াতঃ ২৭) |
| 29 |
ফল-মূল এবং তারা সম্মানিত।
Fruits (Delights); and they (shall enjoy) honour and dignity, |
(আস-সাফফাত:
আয়াতঃ ৪২) |
| 30 |
পবিত্র আপনার পরওয়ারদেগারের সত্তা, তিনি সম্মানিত ও পবিত্র যা তারা বর্ণনা করে তা থেকে।
Glory to thy Lord, the Lord of Honour and Power! (He is free) from what they ascribe (to Him)! |
(আস-সাফফাত:
আয়াতঃ ১৮০) |
| 31 |
আমি কি বিশ্বাসী ও সৎকর্মীদেরকে পৃথিবীতে বিপর্যয় সৃষ্টিকারী কাফেরদের সমতুল্য করে দেব? না খোদাভীরুদেরকে পাপাচারীদের সম্মান করে দেব।
Shall We treat those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, the same as those who do mischief on earth? Shall We treat those who guard against evil, the same as those who turn aside from the right? |
(ছোয়াদ:
আয়াতঃ ২৮) |
| 32 |
নিশ্চয় যারা কোরআন আসার পর তা অস্বীকার করে, তাদের মধ্যে চিন্তা-ভাবনার অভাব রয়েছে। এটা অবশ্যই এক সম্মানিত গ্রন্থ।
Those who reject the Message when it comes to them (are not hidden from Us). And indeed it is a Book of exalted power. |

তাদের পূর্বে আমি ফেরাউনের সম্প্রদায়কে পরীক্ষা করেছি এবং তাদের কাছে আগমন করেছেন একজন সম্মানিত রসূল,
We did, before them, try the people of Pharaoh: there came to them a messenger most honourable, |

স্বাদ গ্রহণ কর, তুমি তো সম্মানিত, সম্ভ্রান্ত।
"Taste thou (this)! Truly wast thou mighty, full of honour! |
(আদ দোখান:
আয়াতঃ ৪৯) |
| 35 |
যাতে তোমরা আল্লাহ ও রসূলের প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন কর এবং তাঁকে সাহায্য ও সম্মান কর এবং সকাল-সন্ধ্যায় আল্লাহর পবিত্রতা ঘোষণা কর।
In order that ye (O men) may believe in Allah and His Messenger, that ye may assist and honour Him, and celebrate His praise morning and evening. |

ক্বাফ! সম্মানিত কোরআনের শপথ;
Qaf: By the Glorious Qur'an (Thou art Allah's Messenger). |

আপনার কাছে ইব্রাহীমের সম্মানিত মেহমানদের বৃত্তান্ত এসেছে কি?
Has the story reached thee, of the honoured guests of Abraham? |

নিশ্চয় এটা সম্মানিত কোরআন,
That this is indeed a qur'an Most Honourable, |
(আল ওয়াক্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৭৭) |
| 39 |
কে সেই ব্যক্তি, যে আল্লাহকে উত্তম ধার দিবে, এরপর তিনি তার জন্যে তা বহুগুণে বৃদ্ধি করবেন এবং তার জন্যে রয়েছে সম্মানিত পুরস্কার।
Who is he that will Loan to Allah a beautiful loan? for (Allah) will increase it manifold to his credit, and he will have (besides) a liberal Reward. |
(আল হাদীদ:
আয়াতঃ ১১) |
| 40 |
নিশ্চয় দানশীল ব্যক্তি ও দানশীলা নারী, যারা আল্লাহকে উত্তমরূপে ধার দেয়, তাদেরকে দেয়া হবে বহুগুণ এবং তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে সম্মানজনক পুরস্কার।
For those who give in Charity, men and women, and loan to Allah a Beautiful Loan, it shall be increased manifold (to their credit), and they shall have (besides) a liberal reward. |
(আল হাদীদ:
আয়াতঃ ১৮) |

নিশ্চয়ই এই কোরআন একজন সম্মানিত রসূলের আনীত।
That this is verily the word of an honoured messenger; |
(আল হাক্বক্বাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৪০) |
| 42 |
তারাই জান্নাতে সম্মানিত হবে।
Such will be the honoured ones in the Gardens (of Bliss). |
(আল মা'আরিজ:
আয়াতঃ ৩৫) |

এটা লিখিত আছে সম্মানিত,
(It is) in Books held (greatly) in honour, |
(আবাসা:
আয়াতঃ ১৩) |
| 44 |
নিশ্চয় কোরআন সম্মানিত রসূলের আনীত বাণী,
Verily this is the word of a most honourable Messenger, |
(আত-তাকভীর:

মানুষ এরূপ যে, যখন তার পালনকর্তা তাকে পরীক্ষা করেন, অতঃপর সম্মান ও অনুগ্রহ দান করেন, তখন বলে, আমার পালনকর্তা আমাকে সম্মান দান করেছেন।
Now, as for man, when his Lord trieth him, giving him honour and gifts, then saith he, (puffed up), "My Lord hath honoured me." |

এটা অমূলক, বরং তোমরা এতীমকে সম্মান কর না।
Nay, nay! but ye honour not the orphans! |
