আর যখনই কোন সূরা অবতীর্ণ হয়, তখন তারা একে অন্যের দিকে তাকায় যে, কোন মুসলমান তোমাদের দেখছে কি-না-অতঃপর সরে পড়ে। আল্লাহ ওদের অন্তরকে সত্য বিমুখ করে দিয়েছেন! নিশ্চয়ই তারা নির্বোধ সম্প্রদায়।
Whenever there cometh down a Sura, they look at each other, (saying), "Doth anyone see you?" Then they turn aside: Allah hath turned their hearts (from the light); for they are a people that understand not. |

এবং আমি তাঁকে ঐ সম্প্রদায়ের বিপক্ষে সাহায্য করেছিলাম, যারা আমার নিদর্শনাবলীকে অস্বীকার করেছিল। নিশ্চয়, তারা ছিল এক মন্দ সম্প্রদায়। অতঃপর আমি তাদের সবাইকে নিমজ্জত করেছিলাম।
We helped him against people who rejected Our Signs: truly they were a people given to Evil: so We drowned them (in the Flood) all together. |

অতঃপর সত্য সত্যই এক ভয়ংকর শব্দ তাদেরকে হতচকিত করল এবং আমি তাদেরকে বাত্যা-তাড়িত আবর্জনা সদৃশ করে দিলাম। অতঃপর ধ্বংস হোক পাপী সম্প্রদায়।
Then the Blast overtook them with justice, and We made them as rubbish of dead leaves (floating on the stream of Time)! So away with the people who do wrong! |

এবং তোমাদের পালনকর্তা তোমাদের জন্যে যে স্ত্রীগনকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন, তাদেরকে বর্জন কর? বরং তোমরা সীমালঙ্ঘনকারী সম্প্রদায়।
"And leave those whom Allah has created for you to be your mates? Nay, ye are a people transgressing (all limits)!" |

আপনার হাত আপনার বগলে ঢুকিয়ে দিন, সুশুভ্র হয়ে বের হবে নির্দোষ অবস্থায়। এগুলো ফেরাউন ও তার সম্প্রদায়ের কাছে আনীত নয়টি নিদর্শনের অন্যতম। নিশ্চয় তারা ছিল পাপাচারী সম্প্রদায়।
"Now put thy hand into thy bosom, and it will come forth white without stain (or harm): (these are) among the nine Signs (thou wilt take) to Pharaoh and his people: for they are a people rebellious in transgression." |

তোমরা কি কামতৃপ্তির জন্য নারীদেরকে ছেড়ে পুরুষে উপগত হবে? তোমরা তো এক বর্বর সম্প্রদায়।
Would ye really approach men in your lusts rather than women? Nay, ye are a people (grossly) ignorant! |

বল তো কে সৃষ্টি করেছেন নভোমন্ডল ও ভূমন্ডল এবং আকাশ থেকে তোমাদের জন্যে বর্ষণ করেছেন পানি; অতঃপর তা দ্বারা আমি মনোরম বাগান সৃষ্টি করেছি। তার বৃক্ষাদি উৎপন্ন করার শক্তিই তোমাদের নেই। অতএব, আল্লাহর সাথে অন্য কোন উপাস্য আছে কি? বরং তারা সত্যবিচ্যুত সম্প্রদায়।
Or, Who has created the heavens and the earth, and Who sends you down rain from the sky? Yea, with it We cause to grow well-planted orchards full of beauty of delight: it is not in your power to cause the growth of the trees in them. (Can there be another) god besides Allah? Nay, they are a people who swerve from justice. |

তোমার হাত বগলে রাখ। তা বের হয়ে আসবে নিরাময় উজ্জ্বল হয়ে এবং ভয় হেতু তোমার হাত তোমার উপর চেপে ধর। এই দু’টি ফেরাউন ও তার পরিষদবর্গের প্রতি তোমার পালনকর্তার তরফ থেকে প্রমাণ। নিশ্চয় তারা পাপাচারী সম্প্রদায়।
"Move thy hand into thy bosom, and it will come forth white without stain (or harm), and draw thy hand close to thy side (to guard) against fear. Those are the two credentials from thy Lord to Pharaoh and his Chiefs: for truly they are a people rebellious and wicked." |
(আল কাসাস:
আয়াতঃ ৩২) |

এবং তোমাদের উপর আমাদের কোন কতৃত্ব ছিল না, বরং তোমরাই ছিলে সীমালংঘনকারী সম্প্রদায়।
"Nor had we any authority over you. Nay, it was ye who were a people in obstinate rebellion! |
(আস-সাফফাত:
আয়াতঃ ৩০) |

অতঃপর সে তার সম্প্রদায়কে বোকা বানিয়ে দিল, ফলে তারা তার কথা মেনে নিল। নিশ্চয় তারা ছিল পাপাচারী সম্প্রদায়।
Thus did he make fools of his people, and they obeyed him: truly were they a people rebellious (against Allah). |
(যুখরুফ:
আয়াতঃ ৫৪) |

এবং বলল, আমাদের উপাস্যরা শ্রেষ্ঠ, না সে? তারা আপনার সামনে যে উদাহরণ উপস্থাপন করে তা কেবল বিতর্কের জন্যেই করে। বস্তুতঃ তারা হল এক বিতর্ককারী সম্প্রদায়।
And they say, "Are our gods best, or he?" This they set forth to thee, only by way of disputation: yea, they are a contentious people. |
(যুখরুফ:
আয়াতঃ ৫৮) |

অতঃপর সে তার পালনকর্তার কাছে দোয়া করল যে, এরা অপরাধী সম্প্রদায়।
(But they were aggressive:) then he cried to his Lord: "These are indeed a people given to sin." |
(আদ দোখান:
আয়াতঃ ২২) |
| 13 |
আর যারা কুফর করেছে, তাদেরকে জিজ্ঞাসা করা হবে, তোমাদের কাছে কি আয়াতসমূহ পঠিত হত না? কিন্তু তোমরা অহংকার করছিলে এবং তোমরা ছিলে এক অপরাধী সম্প্রদায়।
But as to those who rejected Allah, (to them will be said): "Were not Our Signs rehearsed to you? But ye were arrogant, and were a people given to sin! |
(আল জাসিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৩১) |

সে বলল, এ জ্ঞান তো আল্লাহর কাছেই রয়েছে। আমি যে বিষয়সহ প্রেরিত হয়েছি, তা তোমাদের কাছে পৌঁছাই। কিন্তু আমি দেখছি তোমরা এক মুর্খ সম্প্রদায়।
He said: "The Knowledge (of when it will come) is only with Allah: I proclaim to you the mission on which I have been sent: But I see that ye are a people in ignorance!".. |
(আল আহক্বাফ:
আয়াতঃ ২৩) |

অতএব, আপনি সবর করুন, যেমন উচ্চ সাহসী পয়গম্বরগণ সবর করেছেন এবং ওদের বিষয়ে তড়িঘড়ি করবেন না। ওদেরকে যে বিষয়ে ওয়াদা দেয়া হত, তা যেদিন তারা প্রত্যক্ষ করবে, সেদিন তাদের মনে হবে যেন তারা দিনের এক মুহুর্তের বেশী পৃথিবীতে অবস্থান করেনি। এটা সুস্পষ্ট অবগতি। এখন তারাই ধ্বংসপ্রাপ্ত হবে, যারা পাপাচারী সম্প্রদায়।
Therefore patiently persevere, as did (all) messengers of inflexible purpose; and be in no haste about the (Unbelievers). On the Day that they see the (Punishment) promised them, (it will be) as if they had not tarried more than an hour in a single day. (Thine but) to proclaim the Message: but shall any be destroyed except those who transgress? |

আয়াতঃ ৩৫) |

বরং তোমরা ধারণ করেছিলে যে, রসূল ও মুমিনগণ তাদের বাড়ী-ঘরে কিছুতেই ফিরে আসতে পারবে না এবং এই ধারণা তোমাদের জন্যে খুবই সুখকর ছিল। তোমরা মন্দ ধারণার বশবর্তী হয়েছিলে। তোমরা ছিলে ধ্বংসমুখী এক সম্প্রদায়।
"Nay, ye thought that the Messenger and the Believers would never return to their families; this seemed pleasing in your hearts, and ye conceived an evil thought, for ye are a people lost (in wickedness)." |
(আল ফাতহ:
আয়াতঃ ১২) |
| 17 |
তাদের পূর্বে মিথ্যাবাদী বলেছে নূহের সম্প্রদায়, কুপবাসীরা এবং সামুদ সম্প্রদায়।
Before them was denied (the Hereafter) by the People of Noah, the Companions of the Rass, the Thamud, |

বনবাসীরা এবং তোব্বা সম্প্রদায়। প্রত্যেকেই রসূলগণকে মিথ্যা বলেছে, অতঃপর আমার শাস্তির যোগ্য হয়েছে।
The Companions of the Wood, and the People of Tubba'; each one (of them) rejected the messengers, and My warning was duly fulfilled (in them). |

আয়াতঃ ১৪) |
| 19 |
আমি ইতিপূর্বে নূহের সম্প্রদায়কে ধ্বংস করেছি। নিশ্চিতই তারা ছিল পাপাচারী সম্প্রদায়।
So were the People of Noah before them for they wickedly transgressed. |
(আয-যারিয়াত:
আয়াতঃ ৪৬) |
| 20 |
তারা কি একে অপরকে এই উপদেশই দিয়ে গেছে? বস্তুতঃ ওরা দুষ্ট সম্প্রদায়।
Is this the legacy they have transmitted, one to another? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds! |
(আয-যারিয়াত:
আয়াতঃ ৫৩) |
| 21 |
নিশ্চয় তোমরা তাদের অন্তরে আল্লাহ তা’আলা অপেক্ষা অধিকতর ভয়াবহ। এটা এ কারণে যে, তারা এক নির্বোধ সম্প্রদায়।
Of a truth ye are stronger (than they) because of the terror in their hearts, (sent) by Allah. This is because they are men devoid of understanding. |
(আল হাশর:
আয়াতঃ ১৩) |
| 22 |
তারা সংঘবদ্ধভাবেও তোমাদের বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ করতে পারবে না। তারা যুদ্ধ করবে কেবল সুরক্ষিত জনপদে অথবা দুর্গ প্রাচীরের আড়াল থেকে। তাদের পারস্পরিক যুদ্ধই প্রচন্ড হয়ে থাকে। আপনি তাদেরকে ঐক্যবদ্ধ মনে করবেন; কিন্তু তাদের অন্তর শতধাবিচ্ছিন্ন। এটা এ কারণে যে, তারা এক কান্ডজ্ঞানহীণ সম্প্রদায়।
They will not fight you (even) together, except in fortified townships, or from behind walls. Strong is their fighting (spirit) amongst themselves: thou wouldst think they were united, but their hearts are divided: that is because they are a people devoid of wisdom. |
(আল হাশর:
আয়াতঃ ১৪) |
