বনী-ইসরাঈলদেরকে তাদের নবী আরো বললেন, তালূতের নেতৃত্বের চিহ্ন হলো এই যে, তোমাদের কাছে একটা সিন্দুক আসবে তোমাদের পালকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে তোমাদের মনের সন্তুষ্টির নিমিত্তে। আর তাতে থাকবে মূসা, হারুন এবং তাঁদের সন্তানবর্গের পরিত্যক্ত কিছু সামগ্রী। সিন্দুকটিকে বয়ে আনবে ফেরেশতারা। তোমরা যদি ঈমানদার হয়ে থাক, তাহলে এতে তোমাদের জন্য নিশ্চিতই পরিপূর্ণ নিদর্শন রয়েছে।
And (further) their Prophet said to them: "A Sign of his authority is that there shall come to you the Ark of the covenant, with (an assurance) therein of security from your Lord, and the relics left by the family of Moses and the family of Aaron, carried by angels. In this is a symbol for you if ye indeed have faith." |

তাদের অধিকাংশ সলা-পরামর্শ ভাল নয়; কিন্তু যে সলা-পরামর্শ দান খয়রাত করতে কিংবা সৎকাজ করতে কিংবা মানুষের মধ্যে সন্ধিস্থাপন কল্পে করতো তা স্বতন্ত্র। যে একাজ করে আল্লাহর সন্তুষ্টির জন্যে আমি তাকে বিরাট ছওয়াব দান করব।
In most of their secret talks there is no good: But if one exhorts to a deed of charity or justice or conciliation between men, (Secrecy is permissible): To him who does this, seeking the good pleasure of Allah, We shall soon give a reward of the highest (value). |

এবং যারা স্বীয় পালনকর্তার সন্তুষ্টির জন্যে সবর করে, নামায প্রতিষ্টা করে আর আমি তাদেরকে যা দিয়েছি, তা থেকে গোপনে ও প্রকাশ্য ব্যয় করে এবং যারা মন্দের বিপরীতে ভাল করে, তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে পরকালের গৃহ।
Those who patiently persevere, seeking the countenance of their Lord; Establish regular prayers; spend, out of (the gifts) We have bestowed for their sustenance, secretly and openly; and turn off Evil with good: for such there is the final attainment of the (eternal) home,- |

তারা বলেঃ কেবল আল্লাহর সন্তুষ্টির জন্যে আমরা তোমাদেরকে আহার্য দান করি এবং তোমাদের কাছে কোন প্রতিদান ও কৃতজ্ঞতা কামনা করি না।
(Saying),"We feed you for the sake of Allah alone: no reward do we desire from you, nor thanks. |
