বস্তুতঃ এহেন কাফেরদের উদাহরণ এমন, যেন কেউ এমন কোন জীবকে আহবান করছে যা কোন কিছুই শোনে না, হাঁক-ডাক আর চিৎকার ছাড়া বধির মুক, এবং অন্ধ। সুতরাং তারা কিছুই বোঝে না।
The parable of those who reject Faith is as if one were to shout Like a goat-herd, to things that listen to nothing but calls and cries: Deaf, dumb, and blind, they are void of wisdom. |

তোমাদের কারো যখন মৃত্যুর সময় উপস্থিত হয়, সে যদি কিছু ধন-সম্পদ ত্যাগ করে যায়, তবে তার জন্য ওসীয়ত করা বিধিবদ্ধ করা হলো, পিতা-মাতা ও নিকটাত্নীয়দের জন্য ইনসাফের সাথে পরহেযগারদের জন্য এ নির্দেশ জরুরী। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ তা’আলা সবকিছু শোনেন ও জানেন।
It is prescribed, when death approaches any of you, if he leave any goods that he make a bequest to parents and next of kin, according to reasonable usage; this is due from the Allah-fearing. |

তোমাদের কি এই ধারণা যে, তোমরা জান্নাতে চলে যাবে, অথচ সে লোকদের অবস্থা অতিক্রম করনি যারা তোমাদের পূর্বে অতীত হয়েছে। তাদের উপর এসেছে বিপদ ও কষ্ট। আর এমনি ভাবে শিহরিত হতে হয়েছে যাতে নবী ও তাঁর প্রতি যারা ঈমান এনেছিল তাদেরকে পর্যন্ত একথা বলতে হয়েছে যে, কখন আসবে আল্লাহর সাহায্যে! তোমরা শোনে নাও, আল্লাহর সাহায্যে একান্তই নিকটবর্তী।
Or do ye think that ye shall enter the Garden (of bliss) without such (trials) as came to those who passed away before you? they encountered suffering and adversity, and were so shaken in spirit that even the Messenger and those of faith who were with him cried: "When (will come) the help of Allah?" Ah! Verily, the help of Allah is (always) near! |

আর আপনি যখন পরিজনদের কাছ থেকে সকাল বেলা বেরিয়ে গিয়ে মুমিনগণকে যুদ্ধের অবস্থানে বিন্যস্ত করলেন, আর আল্লাহ সব বিষয়েই শোনেন এবং জানেন।
Remember that morning Thou didst leave Thy household (early) to post the faithful at their stations for battle: And Allah heareth and knoweth all things: |

যে কেউ দুনিয়ার কল্যাণ কামনা করবে, তার জেনে রাখা প্রয়োজন যে, দুনিয়া ও আখেরাতের কল্যাণ আল্লাহরই নিকট রয়েছে। আর আল্লাহ সব কিছু শোনেন ও দেখেন।
If any one desires a reward in this life, in Allah's (gift) is the reward (both) of this life and of the hereafter: for Allah is He that heareth and seeth (all things). |
(আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১৩৪) |

আর আমি সৃষ্টি করেছি দোযখের জন্য বহু জ্বিন ও মানুষ। তাদের অন্তর রয়েছে, তার দ্বারা বিবেচনা করে না, তাদের চোখ রয়েছে, তার দ্বারা দেখে না, আর তাদের কান রয়েছে, তার দ্বারা শোনে না। তারা চতুষ্পদ জন্তুর মত; বরং তাদের চেয়েও নিকৃষ্টতর। তারাই হল গাফেল, শৈথিল্যপরায়ণ।
Many are the Jinns and men we have made for Hell: They have hearts wherewith they understand not, eyes wherewith they see not, and ears wherewith they hear not. They are like cattle,- nay more misguided: for they are heedless (of warning). |

আর তাদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হয়ো না, যারা বলে যে, আমরা শুনেছি, অথচ তারা শোনেনা।
Nor be like those who say, "We hear," but listen not: |
(আল-আনফাল:
আয়াতঃ ২১) |

আর তাদের কেউ বলে, আমাকে অব্যাহতি দিন এবং পথভ্রষ্ট করবেন না। শোনে রাখ, তারা তো পূর্ব থেকেই পথভ্রষ্ট এবং নিঃসন্দেহে জাহান্নাম এই কাফেরদের পরিবেষ্টন করে রয়েছে।
Among them is (many) a man who says: "Grant me exemption and draw me not into trial." Have they not fallen into trial already? and indeed Hell surrounds the Unbelievers (on all sides). |
(আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৪৯) |

তাদের মালামাল থেকে যাকাত গ্রহণ কর যাতে তুমি সেগুলোকে পবিত্র করতে এবং সেগুলোকে বরকতময় করতে পার এর মাধ্যমে। আর তুমি তাদের জন্য দোয়া কর, নিঃসন্দেহে তোমার দোয়া তাদের জন্য সান্ত্বনা স্বরূপ। বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহ সবকিছুই শোনেন, জানেন।
Of their goods, take alms, that so thou mightest purify and sanctify them; and pray on their behalf. Verily thy prayers are a source of security for them: And Allah is One Who heareth and knoweth. |
(আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১০৩) |

যখন তারা কান পেতে আপনার কথা শোনে, তখন তারা কেন কান পেতে তা শোনে, তা আমি ভাল জানি এবং এও জানি গোপনে আলোচনাকালে যখন জালেমরা বলে, তোমরা তো এক যাদুগ্রস্থ ব্যক্তির অনুসরণ করছ।
We know best why it is they listen, when they listen to thee; and when they meet in private conference, behold, the wicked say, "Ye follow none other than a man bewitched!" |

আয়াতঃ ৪৭) |

বলুনঃ তারা কতকাল অবস্থান করেছে, তা আল্লাহই ভাল জানেন। নভোমন্ডল ও ভুমন্ডলের অদৃশ্য বিষয়ের জ্ঞান তাঁরই কাছে রয়েছে। তিনি কত চমৎকার দেখেন ও শোনেন। তিনি ব্যতীত তাদের জন্য কোন সাহায্যকারী নেই। তিনি কাউকে নিজ কর্তৃত্বে শরীক করেন না।
Say: "Allah knows best how long they stayed: with Him is (the knowledge of) the secrets of the heavens and the earth: how clearly He sees, how finely He hears (everything)! They have no protector other than Him; nor does He share His Command with any person whatsoever. |
(কাহফ:
আয়াতঃ ২৬) |

যখন তিনি তার পিতাকে বললেনঃ হে আমার পিতা, যে শোনে না, দেখে না এবং তোমার কোন উপকারে আসে না, তার এবাদত কেন কর?
Behold, he said to his father: "O my father! why worship that which heareth not and seeth not, and can profit thee nothing? |
(মারইয়াম:
আয়াতঃ ৪২) |
| 13 |
পয়গম্বর বললেনঃ নভোমন্ডল ও ভুমন্ডলের কথাই আমার পালনকর্তা জানেন। তিনি সবকিছু শোনেন, সবকিছু জানেন।
Say: "My Lord knoweth (every) word (spoken) in the heavens and on earth: He is the One that heareth and knoweth (all things)." |
(আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৪) |
| 14 |
বলুনঃ আমি তো কেবল ওহীর মাধ্যমেই তোমাদেরকে সতর্ক করি, কিন্তু বধিরদেরকে যখন সতর্ক করা হয়, তখন তারা সে সতর্কবাণী শোনে না।
Say, "I do but warn you according to revelation": But the deaf will not hear the call, (even) when they are warned! |
(আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৪৫) |

এটা এ জন্যে যে, আল্লাহ রাত্রিকে দিনের মধ্যে এবং দিনকে রাত্রির মধ্য দাখিল করে দেন এবং আল্লাহ সবকিছু শোনেন, দেখেন।
That is because Allah merges night into day, and He merges day into night, and verily it is Allah Who hears and sees (all things). |
(হাজ্জ্ব:
আয়াতঃ ৬১) |
| 16 |
হে ঈমানদারগণ, তোমরা শয়তানের পদাঙ্ক অনুসরণ করো না। যে কেউ শয়তানের পদাঙ্ক অনুসরণ করবে, তখন তো শয়তান নির্লজ্জতা ও মন্দ কাজেরই আদেশ করবে। যদি আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ ও দয়া তোমাদের প্রতি না থাকত, তবে তোমাদের কেউ কখনও পবিত্র হতে পারতে না। কিন্তু আল্লাহ যাকে ইচ্ছা পবিত্র করেন। আল্লাহ সবকিছু শোনেন, জানেন।
O ye who believe! follow not Satan's footsteps: if any will follow the footsteps of Satan, he will (but) command what is shameful and wrong: and were it not for the grace and mercy of Allah on you, not one of you would ever have been pure: but Allah doth purify whom He pleases: and Allah is One Who hears and knows (all things). |
(আন-নূর:
আয়াতঃ ২১) |
| 17 |
আপনি কি মনে করেন যে, তাদের অধিকাংশ শোনে অথবা বোঝে ? তারা তো চতুস্পদ জন্তুর মত; বরং আরও পথভ্রান্ত
Or thinkest thou that most of them listen or understand? They are only like cattle;- nay, they are worse astray in Path. |
(আল-ফুরকান:
আয়াতঃ ৪৪) |

ইব্রাহীম (আঃ) বললেন, তোমরা যখন আহবান কর, তখন তারা শোনে কি?
He said: "Do they listen to you when ye call (on them)?" |
(আশ-শো'আরা:
আয়াতঃ ৭২) |
| 19 |
তোমাদের সৃষ্টি ও পুনরুত্থান একটি মাত্র প্রাণীর সৃষ্টি ও পুনরুত্থানের সমান বৈ নয়। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সব কিছু শোনেন, সবকিছু দেখেন।
And your creation or your resurrection is in no wise but as an individual soul: for Allah is He Who hears and sees (all things). |
(লোকমান:
আয়াতঃ ২৮) |
| 20 |
এতে কি তাদের চোখ খোলেনি যে, আমি তাদের পূর্বে অনেক সম্প্রদায়কে ধ্বংস করেছি, যাদের বাড়ী-ঘরে এরা বিচরণ করে। অবশ্যই এতে নিদর্শনাবলী রয়েছে। তারা কি শোনে না?
Does it not teach them a lesson, how many generations We destroyed before them, in whose dwellings they (now) go to and fro? Verily in that are Signs: Do they not then listen? |
(সেজদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ২৬) |
| 21 |
তিনি মুমিন ও সৎকর্মীদের দোয়া শোনেন এবং তাদের প্রতি স্বীয় অনুগ্রহ বাড়িয়ে দেন। আর কাফেরদের জন্যে রয়েছে কঠোর শাস্তি।
And He listens to those who believe and do deeds of righteousness, and gives them increase of His Bounty: but for the Unbelievers their is a terrible Penalty. |
(আশ-শুরা:
আয়াতঃ ২৬) |
