আপনি বলে দিনঃ আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে তা থেকে মুক্তি দেন এব সব দুঃখ-বিপদ থেকে। তথাপি তোমরা শেরক কর।
Say "It is Allah that delivereth you from these and all (other) distresses: and yet ye worship false gods!" |

যদি আল্লাহ চাইতেন তবে তারা শেরক করত না। আমি আপনাকে তাদের সংরক্ষক করিনি এবং আপনি তাদের কার্যনির্বাহী নন।
If it had been Allah's plan, they would not have taken false gods: but We made thee not one to watch over their doings, nor art thou set over them to dispose of their affairs. |

আর যেদিন আমি তাদের সবাইকে সমবেত করব; আর যারা শেরক করত তাদেরকে বলবঃ তোমরা এবং তোমাদের শরীকরা নিজ নিজ জায়গায় দাঁড়িয়ে যাও-অতঃপর তাদেরকে পারস্পরিক বিচ্ছিন্ন করে দেব, তখন তাদের শরীকরা বলবে, তোমরা তো আমাদের উপাসনা-বন্দেগী করনি।
One day shall We gather them all together. Then shall We say to those who joined gods (with Us): "To your place! ye and those ye joined as 'partners' We shall separate them, and their "Partners" shall say: "It was not us that ye worshipped! |

নিশ্চয় ইব্রাহীম ছিলেন এক সম্প্রদায়ের প্রতীক, সবকিছু থেকে মুখ ফিরিয়ে এক আল্লাহরই অনুগত এবং তিনি শেরককারীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত ছিলেন না।
Abraham was indeed a model, devoutly obedient to Allah, (and) true in Faith, and he joined not gods with Allah: |

তোমরা তাদেরকে ডাকলে তারা তোমাদের সে ডাক শুনে না। শুনলেও তোমাদের ডাকে সাড়া দেয় না। কেয়ামতের দিন তারা তোমাদের শেরক অস্বীকার করবে। বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহর ন্যায় তোমাকে কেউ অবহিত করতে পারবে না।
If ye invoke them, they will not listen to your call, and if they were to listen, they cannot answer your (prayer). On the Day of Judgment they will reject your "Partnership". and none, (O man!) can tell thee (the Truth) like the One Who is acquainted with all things. |
