তাঁর কাছেই অদৃশ্য জগতের চাবি রয়েছে। এ গুলো তিনি ব্যতীত কেউ জানে না। স্থলে ও জলে যা আছে, তিনিই জানেন। কোন পাতা ঝরে না; কিন্তু তিনি তা জানেন। কোন শস্য কণা মৃত্তিকার অন্ধকার অংশে পতিত হয় না এবং কোন আর্দ্র ও শুস্ক দ্রব্য পতিত হয় না; কিন্তু তা সব প্রকাশ্য গ্রন্থে রয়েছে।
With Him are the keys of the unseen, the treasures that none knoweth but He. He knoweth whatever there is on the earth and in the sea. Not a leaf doth fall but with His knowledge: there is not a grain in the darkness (or depths) of the earth, nor anything fresh or dry (green or withered), but is (inscribed) in a record clear (to those who can read). |

আমি মানবকে পচা কর্দম থেকে তৈরী বিশুস্ক ঠনঠনে মাটি দ্বারা সৃষ্টি করেছি।
We created man from sounding clay, from mud moulded into shape; |

তাদের কাছে পার্থিব জীবনের উপমা বর্ণনা করুন। তা পানির ন্যায়, যা আমি আকাশ থেকে নাযিল করি। অতঃপর এর সংমিশ্রণে শ্যামল সবুজ ভূমিজ লতা-পাতা নির্গত হয়; অতঃপর তা এমন শুস্ক চুর্ণ-বিচুর্ণ হয় যে, বাতাসে উড়ে যায়। আল্লাহ এ সবকিছুর উপর শক্তিমান।
Set forth to them the similitude of the life of this world: It is like the rain which we send down from the skies: the earth's vegetation absorbs it, but soon it becomes dry stubble, which the winds do scatter: it is (only) Allah who prevails over all things. |
