যে একটি সৎকর্ম করবে, সে তার দশগুণ পাবে এবং যে, একটি মন্দ কাজ করবে, সে তার সমান শাস্তিই পাবে। বস্তুতঃ তাদের প্রতি জুলুম করা হবে না।
He that doeth good shall have ten times as much to his credit: He that doeth evil shall only be recompensed according to his evil: no wrong shall be done unto (any of) them. |

এবং ইহাও যে, আমার শাস্তিই যন্ত্রনাদায়ক শাস্তি।
And that My Penalty will be indeed the most grievous Penalty. |

মূসা বললেনঃ দূর হ, তোর জন্য সারা জীবন এ শাস্তিই রইল যে, তুই বলবি; আমাকে স্পর্শ করো না, এবং তোর জন্য একটি নির্দিষ্ট ওয়াদা আছে, যার ব্যতিক্রম হবে না। তুই তোর সেই ইলাহের প্রতি লক্ষ্য কর, যাকে তুই ঘিরে থাকতি। আমরা সেটি জালিয়ে দেবই। অতঃপর একে বিক্ষিপ্ত করে সাগরে ছড়িয়ে দেবই।
(Moses) said: "Get thee gone! but thy (punishment) in this life will be that thou wilt say, 'touch me not'; and moreover (for a future penalty) thou hast a promise that will not fail: Now look at thy god, of whom thou hast become a devoted worshipper: We will certainly (melt) it in a blazing fire and scatter it broadcast in the sea!" |

অতএব, তোমরা আস্বাদন কর, আমি কেবল তোমাদের শাস্তিই বৃদ্ধি করব।
"So taste ye (the fruits of your deeds); for no increase shall We grant you, except in Punishment." |
