তোমরা অন্যায়ভাবে একে অপরের সম্পদ ভোগ করো না। এবং জনগণের সম্পদের কিয়দংশ জেনে-শুনে পাপ পন্থায় আত্নসাৎ করার উদ্দেশে শাসন কতৃপক্ষের হাতেও তুলে দিও না।
And do not eat up your property among yourselves for vanities, nor use it as bait for the judges, with intent that ye may eat up wrongfully and knowingly a little of (other) people's property. |

আর তাদেরকে তাদের নবী বললেন, নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ তালূতকে তোমাদের জন্য বাদশাহ সাব্যস্ত করেছেন। তারা বলতে লাগল তা কেমন করে হয় যে, তার শাসন চলবে আমাদের উপর। অথচ রাষ্ট্রক্ষমতা পাওয়ার ক্ষেত্রে তার চেয়ে আমাদেরই অধিকার বেশী। আর সে সম্পদের দিক দিয়েও সচ্ছল নয়। নবী বললেন, নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ তোমাদের উপর তাকে পছন্দ করেছেন এবং স্বাস্থ্য ও জ্ঞানের দিক দিয়ে প্রাচুর্য দান করেছেন। বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহ তাকেই রাজ্য দান করেন, যাকে ইচ্ছা। আর আল্লাহ হলেন অনুগ্রহ দানকারী এবং সব বিষয়ে অবগত।
Their Prophet said to them: "Allah hath appointed Talut as king over you." They said: "How can he exercise authority over us when we are better fitted than he to exercise authority, and he is not even gifted, with wealth in abundance?" He said: "Allah hath Chosen him above you, and hath gifted him abundantly with knowledge and bodily prowess: Allah Granteth His authority to whom He pleaseth. Allah careth for all, and He knoweth all things." |

তোমাদের মধ্যে যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে ও সৎকর্ম করে, আল্লাহ তাদেরকে ওয়াদা দিয়েছেন যে, তাদেরকে অবশ্যই পৃথিবীতে শাসনকর্তৃত্ব দান করবেন। যেমন তিনি শাসনকতৃꦣ2468;্ব দান করেছেন তাদের পূর্ববতীদেরকে এবং তিনি অবশ্যই সুদৃঢ় করবেন তাদের ধর্মকে, যা তিনি তাদের জন্যে পছন্দ করেছেন এবং তাদের ভয়-ভীতির পরিবর্তে অবশ্যই তাদেরকে শান্তি দান করবেন। তারা আমার এবাদত করবে এবং আমার সাথে কাউকে শরীক করবে না। এরপর যারা অকৃতজ্ঞ হবে, তারাই অবাধ্য।
Allah has promised, to those among you who believe and work righteous deeds, that He will, of a surety, grant them in the land, inheritance (of power), as He granted it to those before them; that He will establish in authority their religion - the one which He has chosen for them; and that He will change (their state), after the fear in which they (lived), to one of security and peace: 'They will worship Me (alone) and not associate aught with Me. 'If any do reject Faith after this, they are rebellious and wicked. |

আপনার পালনকর্তা নিজ শাসনক্ষমতা অনুযায়ী তাদের মধ্যে ফয়সালা করে দেবেন। তিনি পরাক্রমশালী, সুবিজ্ঞ।
Verily thy Lord will decide between them by His Decree: and He is Exalted in Might, All-Knowing. |
