কিন্তু যারা তাদের মধ্যে জ্ঞানপক্ক ও ঈমানদার, তারা তাও মান্য করে যা আপনার উপর অবতীর্ণ হয়েছে এবং যা অবতীর্ণ হয়েছে আপনার পূর্বে। আর যারা নামাযে অনুবর্তিতা পালনকারী, যারা যাকাত দানকারী এবং যারা আল্লাহ ও কেয়ামতে আস্থাশীল। বস্তুতঃ এমন লোকদেরকে আমি দান করবো মহাপুণ্য।
But those among them who are well-grounded in knowledge, and the believers, believe in what hath been revealed to thee and what was revealed before thee: And (especially) those who establish regular prayer and practise regular charity and believe in Allah and in the Last Day: To them shall We soon give a great reward. |

যখন আল্লাহ বললেনঃ হে ঈসা ইবনে মরিয়ম! তুমি কি লোকদেরকে বলে দিয়েছিলে যে, আল্লাহকে ছেড়ে আমাকে ও আমার মাতাকে উপাস্য সাব্যস্ত কর? ঈসা বলবেন; আপনি পবিত্র! আমার জন্যে শোভা পায় না যে, আমি এমন কথা বলি, যা বলার কোন অধিকার আমার নেই। যদি আমি বলে থাকি, তবে আপনি অবশ্যই পরিজ্ঞাত; আপনি তো আমার মনের কথা ও জানেন এবং আমি জানি না যা আপনার মনে আছে। নিশ্চয় আপনিই অদৃশ্য বিষয়ে জ্ঞাত।
And behold! Allah will say: "O Jesus the son of Mary! Didst thou say unto men, worship me and my mother as gods in derogation of Allah'?" He will say: "Glory to Thee! never could I say what I had no right (to say). Had I said such a thing, thou wouldst indeed have known it. Thou knowest what is in my heart, Thou I know not what is in Thine. For Thou knowest in full all that is hidden. |

অতঃপর তারা তাকে মিথ্যা প্রতিপন্ন করল। আমি তাকে এবং নৌকাস্থিত লোকদেরকে উদ্ধার করলাম এবং যারা মিথ্যারোপ করত, তাদেরকে ডুবিয়ে দিলাম। নিশ্চয় তারা ছিল অন্ধ।
But they rejected him, and We delivered him, and those with him, in the Ark: but We overwhelmed in the flood those who rejected Our signs. They were indeed a blind people! |
(আল আ'রাফ:

আর তাদের মত হয়ে যেয়ো না, যারা বেরিয়েছে নিজেদের অবস্থান থেকে গর্বিতভাবে এবং লোকদেরকে দেখাবার উদ্দেশে। আর আল্লাহর পথে তারা বাধা দান করত। বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহর আয়ত্বে রয়েছে সে সমস্ত বিষয় যা তারা করে।
And be not like those who started from their homes insolently and to be seen of men, and to hinder (men) from the path of Allah: For Allah compasseth round about all that they do. |
(আল-আনফাল:

জিজ্ঞেস করুন ঐ জনপদের লোকদেরকে যেখানে আমরা ছিলাম এবং ঐ কাফেলাকে, যাদের সাথে আমরা এসেছি। নিশ্চিতই আমরা সত্য বলছি।
"'Ask at the town where we have been and the caravan in which we returned, and (you will find) we are indeed telling the truth.'" |

যদি আল্লাহ লোকদেরকে তাদের অন্যায় কাজের কারণে পাকড়াও করতেন, তবে ভুপৃষ্ঠে চলমান কোন কিছুকেই ছাড়তেন না। কিন্তু তিনি প্রতিশ্রুতি সময় পর্যন্ত তাদেরকে অবকাশ দেন। অতঃপর নির্ধারিত সময়ে যখন তাদের মৃত্যু এসে যাবে, তখন এক মুহুর্তও বিলম্বিত কিংবা তরাম্বিত করতে পারবে না।
If Allah were to punish men for their wrong-doing, He would not leave, on the (earth), a single living creature: but He gives them respite for a stated Term: When their Term expires, they would not be able to delay (the punishment) for a single hour, just as they would not be able to anticipate it (for a single hour). |

যখন আমি কোন জনপদকে ধ্বংস করার ইচ্ছা করি তখন তার অবস্থাপন্ন লোকদেরকে উদ্ধুদ্ধ করি অতঃপর তারা পাপাচারে মেতে উঠে। তখন সে জনগোষ্টীর উপর আদেশ অবধারিত হয়ে যায়। অতঃপর আমি তাকে উঠিয়ে আছাড় দেই।
When We decide to destroy a population, We (first) send a definite order to those among them who are given the good things of this life and yet transgress; so that the word is proved true against them: then (it is) We destroy them utterly. |

আপনি আপনার পরিবারের লোকদেরকে নামাযের আদেশ দিন এবং নিজেও এর ওপর অবিচল থাকুন। আমি আপনার কাছে কোন রিযিক চাই না। আমি আপনাকে রিযিক দেই এবং আল্লাহ ভীরুতার পরিণাম শুভ।
Enjoin prayer on thy people, and be constant therein. We ask thee not to provide sustenance: We provide it for thee. But the (fruit of) the Hereafter is for righteousness. |
(ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ১৩২) |

এমনকি, যখন আমি তাদের ঐশ্বর্যশালী লোকদেরকে শাস্তি দ্বারা পাকড়াও করব, তখনই তারা চীৎকার জুড়ে দেবে।
Until, when We seize in Punishment those of them who received the good things of this world, behold, they will groan in supplication! |
(আল মু'মিনূন:

আমি তোমাদের সমমনা লোকদেরকে ধ্বংস করেছি, অতএব, কোন চিন্তাশীল আছে কি?
And (oft) in the past, have We destroyed gangs like unto you: then is there any that will receive admonition? |

এবং যখন লোকদেরকে মেপে দেয় কিংবা ওজন করে দেয়, তখন কম করে দেয়।
But when they have to give by measure or weight to men, give less than due. |
