তারা সে সমস্ত লোক, যারা হেদায়েতের বিনিময়ে গোমরাহী খরিদ করে। বস্তুতঃ তারা তাদের এ ব্যবসায় লাভবান হতে পারেনি এবং তারা হেদায়েতও লাভ করতে পারেনি।
These are they who have bartered Guidance for error: But their traffic is profitless, and they have lost true direction, |

আর হে নবী (সাঃ), যারা ঈমান এনেছে এবং সৎকাজসমূহ করেছে, আপনি তাদেরকে এমন বেহেশতের সুসংবাদ দিন, যার পাদদেশে নহরসমূহ প্রবাহমান থাকবে। যখনই তারা খাবার হিসেবে কোন ফল প্রাপ্ত হবে, তখনই তারা বলবে, এতো অবিকল সে ফলই যা আমরা ইতিপূর্বেও লাভ করেছিলাম। বস্তুতঃ তাদেরকে একই প্রকৃতির ফল প্রদান করা হবে। এবং সেখানে তাদের জন্য শুদ্ধচারিনী রমণীকূল থাকবে। আর সেখানে তারা অনন্তকাল অবস্থান করবে।
But give glad tidings to those who believe and work righteousness, that their portion is Gardens, beneath which rivers flow. Every time they are fed with fruits therefrom, they say: "Why, this is what we were fed with before," for they are given things in similitude; and they have therein companions pure (and holy); and they abide therein (for ever). |

অনন্তর শয়তান তাদের উভয়কে ওখান থেকে পদস্খলিত করেছিল। পরে তারা যে সুখ-স্বাচ্ছন্দ্যে ছিল তা থেকে তাদেরকে বের করে দিল এবং আমি বললাম, তোমরা নেমে যাও। তোমরা পরস্পর একে অপরের শক্র হবে এবং তোমাদেরকে সেখানে কিছুকাল অবস্থান করতে হবে ও লাভ সংগ্রহ করতে হবে।
Then did Satan make them slip from the (garden), and get them out of the state (of felicity) in which they had been. We said: "Get ye down, all (ye people), with enmity between yourselves. On earth will be your dwelling-place and your means of livelihood - for a time." |

ইহুদী ও খ্রীষ্টানরা কখনই আপনার প্রতি সন্তুষ্ট হবে না, যে পর্যন্ত না আপনি তাদের ধর্মের অনুসরণ করেন। বলে দিন, যে পথ আল্লাহ প্রদর্শন করেন, তাই হল সরল পথ। যদি আপনি তাদের আকাঙ্খাসমূহের অনুসরণ করেন, ঐ জ্ঞান লাভের পর, যা আপনার কাছে পৌঁছেছে, তবে কেউ আল্লাহর কবল থেকে আপনার উদ্ধারকারী ও সাহায্যকারী নেই।
Never will the Jews or the Christians be satisfied with thee unless thou follow their form of religion. Say: "The Guidance of Allah,-that is the (only) Guidance." Wert thou to follow their desires after the knowledge which hath reached thee, then wouldst thou find neither Protector nor helper against Allah. |

যদি আপনি আহলে কিতাবদের কাছে সমুদয় নিদর্শন উপস্থাপন করেন, তবুও তারা আপনার কেবলা মেনে নেবে না এবং আপনিও তাদের কেবলা মানেন না। তারাও একে অন্যের কেবলা মানে না। যদি আপনি তাদের বাসনার অনুসরণ করেন, সে জ্ঞানলাভের পর, যা আপনার কাছে পৌঁছেছে, তবে নিশ্চয় আপনি অবিচারকারীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হবেন।
Even if thou wert to bring to the people of the Book all the Signs (together), they would not follow Thy Qibla; nor art thou going to follow their Qibla; nor indeed will they follow each other's Qibla. If thou after the knowledge hath reached thee, Wert to follow their (vain) desires,-then wert thou Indeed (clearly) in the wrong. |

আর স্মরণ কর, যখন ইব্রাহীম বলল, হে আমার পালনকর্তা আমাকে দেখাও, কেমন করে তুমি মৃতকে জীবিত করবে। বললেন; তুমি কি বিশ্বাস কর না? বলল, অবশ্যই বিশ্বাস করি, কিন্তু দেখতে এজন্যে চাইছি যাতে অন্তরে প্রশান্তি লাভ করতে পারি। বললেন, তাহলে চারটি পাখী ধরে নাও। পরে সেগুলোকে নিজের পোষ মানিয়ে নাও, অতঃপর সেগুলোর দেহের একেকটি অংশ বিভিন্ন পাহাড়ের উপর রেখে দাও। তারপর সেগুলোকে ডাক; তোমার নিকট দৌড়ে চলে আসবে। আর জেনে রাখো, নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ পরাক্রমশালী, অতি জ্ঞান সম্পন্ন।
When Abraham said: "Show me, Lord, how You will raise the dead, " He replied: "Have you no faith?" He said "Yes, but just to reassure my heart." Allah said, "Take four birds, draw them to you, and cut their bodies to pieces. Scatter them over the mountain-tops, then call them back. They will come swiftly to you. Know that Allah is Mighty, Wise." |

যারা তোমাদের ধর্মমতে চলবে, তাদের ছাড়া আর কাউকে বিশ্বাস করবে না। বলে দিন নিঃসন্দেহে হেদায়েত সেটাই, যে হেদায়েত আল্লাহ করেন। আর এসব কিছু এ জন্যে যে, তোমরা যা লাভ করেছিলে তা অন্য কেউ কেন প্রাপ্ত হবে, কিংবা তোমাদের পালনকর্তার সামনে তোমাদের উপর তারা কেন প্রবল হয়ে যাবে! বলে দিন, মর্যাদা আল্লাহরই হাতে; তিনি যাকে ইচ্ছা দান করেন এবং আল্লাহ প্রাচুর্যময় ও সর্বজ্ঞ।
"And believe no one unless he follows your religion." Say: "True guidance is the Guidance of Allah: (Fear ye) Lest a revelation be sent to someone (else) Like unto that which was sent unto you? or that those (Receiving such revelation) should engage you in argument before your Lord?" Say: "All bounties are in the hand of Allah: He granteth them to whom He pleaseth: And Allah careth for all, and He knoweth all things." |

কস্মিণকালেও কল্যাণ লাভ করতে পারবে না, যদি তোমাদের প্রিয় বস্তু থেকে তোমরা ব্যয় না কর। আর তোমরা যদি কিছু ব্যয় করবে আল্লাহ তা জানেন।
By no means shall ye attain righteousness unless ye give (freely) of that which ye love; and whatever ye give, of a truth Allah knoweth it well. |
(আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ৯২) |

এতে রয়েছে মকামে ইব্রাহীমের মত প্রকৃষ্ট নিদর্শন। আর যে, লোক এর ভেতরে প্রবেশ করেছে, সে নিরাপত্তা লাভ করেছে। আর এ ঘরের হজ্ব করা হলো মানুষের উপর আল্লাহর প্রাপ্য; যে লোকের সামর্থ?2480;য়েছে এ পর্যন্ত পৌছার। আর যে লোক তা মানে না। আল্লাহ সারা বিশ্বের কোন কিছুরই পরোয়া করেন না।
In it are Signs Manifest; (for example), the Station of Abraham; whoever enters it attains security; Pilgrimage thereto is a duty men owe to Allah,- those who can afford the journey; but if any deny faith, Allah stands not in need of any of His creatures. |

কাফেররা যেন মনে না করে যে আমি যে, অবকাশ দান করি, তা তাদের পক্ষে কল্যাণকর। আমি তো তাদেরকে অবকাশ দেই যাতে করে তারা পাপে উন্নতি লাভ করতে পারে। বস্তুতঃ তাদের জন্য রয়েছে লাঞ্ছনাজনক শাস্তি।
Let not the Unbelievers think that our respite to them is good for themselves: We grant them respite that they may grow in their iniquity: But they will have a shameful punishment. |
(আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১৭৮) |

তুমি মনে করো না, যারা নিজেদের কৃতকর্মের উপর আনন্দিত হয় এবং না করা বিষয়ের জন্য প্রশংসা কামনা করে, তারা আমার নিকট থেকে অব্যাহতি লাভ করেছে। বস্তুতঃ তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে বেদনাদায়ক আযাব।
Think not that those who exult in what they have brought about, and love to be praised for what they have not done,- think escape the penalty. For them is a penalty Grievous indeed. |

হে ঈমানদানগণ! ধৈর্য্য ধারণ কর এবং মোকাবেলায় দৃঢ়তা অবলম্বন কর। আর আল্লাহকে ভয় করতে থাক যাতে তোমরা তোমাদের উদ্দেশ্য লাভে সমর্থ হতে পার।
O ye who believe! Persevere in patience and constancy; vie in such perseverance; strengthen each other; and fear Allah; that ye may prosper. |
(আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ২০০) |

পক্ষান্তরে তোমাদের প্রতি আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে কোন অনুগ্রহ আসলে তারা এমন ভাবে বলতে শুরু করবে যেন তোমাদের মধ্যে এবং তাদের মধ্যে কোন মিত্রতাই ছিল না। (বলবে) হায়, আমি যদি তাদের সাথে থাকতাম, তাহলে আমি ও যে সফলতা লাভ করতাম।
But if good fortune comes to you from Allah, they would be sure to say - as if there had never been Ties of affection between you and them - "Oh! I wish I had been with them; a fine thing should I then have made of it!" |
(আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ৭৩) |
| 14 |
যারা একবার মুসলমান হয়ে পরে পুনরায় কাফের হয়ে গেছে, আবার মুসলমান হয়েছে এবং আবারো কাফের হয়েছে এবং কুফরীতেই উন্নতি লাভ করেছে, আল্লাহ তাদেরকে না কখনও ক্ষমা করবেন, না পথ দেখাবেন।
Those who believe, then reject faith, then believe (again) and (again) reject faith, and go on increasing in unbelief,- Allah will not forgive them nor guide them nor guide them on the way. |
(আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১৩৭) |

অতএব, তাদের অঙ্গীকার ভঙ্গের দরুন আমি তাদের উপর অভিসম্পাত করেছি এবং তাদের অন্তরকে কঠোর করে দিয়েছি। তারা কালামকে তার স্থান থেকে বিচ্যুত করে দেয় এবং তাদেরকে যে উপদেশ দেয়া হয়েছিল, তারা তা থেকে উপকার লাভ করার বিষয়টি বিস্মৃত হয়েছে। আপনি সর্বদা তাদের কোন না কোন প্রতারণা সম্পর্কে অবগত হতে থাকেন, তাদের অল্প কয়েকজন ছাড়া। অতএব, আপনি তাদেরকে ক্ষমা করুন এবং মার্জনা করুন। আল্লাহ অনুগ্রহকারীদেরকে ভালবাসেন।
But because of their breach of their covenant, We cursed them, and made their hearts grow hard; they change the words from their (right) places and forget a good part of the message that was sent them, nor wilt thou cease to find them- barring a few - ever bent on (new) deceits: but forgive them, and overlook (their misdeeds): for Allah loveth those who are kind. |
(আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১৩) |
| 16 |
যারা বলেঃ আমরা নাছারা, আমি তাদের কাছ থেকেও তাদের অঙ্গীকার নিয়েছিলাম। অতঃপর তারাও যে উপদেশ প্রাপ্ত হয়েছিল, তা থেকে উপকার লাভ করা ভুলে গেল। অতঃপর আমি কেয়ামত পর্যন্ত তাদের মধ্যে পারস্পরিক শত্রুতা ও বিদ্বেষ সঞ্চারিত করে দিয়েছি। অবশেষে আল্লাহ তাদেরকে তাদের কৃতকর্ম সম্পর্কে অবহিত করবেন।
From those, too, who call themselves Christians, We did take a covenant, but they forgot a good part of the message that was sent them: so we estranged them, with enmity and hatred between the one and the other, to the day of judgment. And soon will Allah show them what it is they have done. |
(আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১৪) |
| 17 |
অতঃপর যদি জানা যায় যে, উভয় ওসি কোন গোনাহে জড়িত রয়েছে, তবে যাদের বিরুদ্ধে গোনাহ হয়েছিল, তাদের মধ্য থেকে মৃতু ব্যক্তির নিকটতম দু’ব্যক্তি তাদের স্থলাভিষিক্ত হবে। অতঃপর আল্লাহর নামে কসম খাবে যে, অবশ্যই আমাদের সাক্ষ্য তাদের সাক্ষ্যর চাইতে অধিক সত্য এবং আমরা সীমা অতিক্রম করিনি। এমতাবস্থায় আমরা অবশ্যই অত্যাচারী হব।
But if it gets known that these two were guilty of the sin (of perjury), let two others stand forth in their places,- nearest in kin from among those who claim a lawful right: let them swear by Allah: "We affirm that our witness is truer than that of those two, and that we have not trespassed (beyond the truth): if we did, behold! the wrong be upon us!" |

আয়াতঃ ১০৭) |
| 18 |
যা কিছু রাত ও দিনে স্থিতি লাভ করে, তাঁরই। তিনিই শ্রোতা, মহাজ্ঞানী।
To him belongeth all that dwelleth (or lurketh) in the night and the day. For he is the one who heareth and knoweth all things." |
(আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ১৩) |
| 19 |
যাদেরকে তোমরা আল্লাহর সাথে শরীক করে রেখেছ, তাদেরকে কিরূপে ভয় কর, অথচ তোমরা ভয় কর না যে, তোমরা আল্লাহর সাথে এমন বস্তুকে শরীক করছ, যাদের সম্পর্কে আল্লাহ তোমাদের প্রতি কোন প্রমাণ অবতীর্ণ করেননি। অতএব, উভয় সম্প্রদায়ের মধ্যে শাস্তি লাভের অধিক যোগ্য কে, যদি তোমরা জ্ঞানী হয়ে থাক।
"How should I fear (the beings) ye associate with Allah, when ye fear not to give partners to Allah without any warrant having been given to you? Which of (us) two parties hath more right to security? (tell me) if ye know. |

আয়াতঃ ৮১) |
| 20 |
যেদিন আল্লাহ সবাইকে একত্রিত করবেন, হে জিন সম্প্রদায়, তোমরা মানুষদের মধ্যে অনেককে অনুগামী করে নিয়েছ। তাদের মানব বন্ধুরা বলবেঃ হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা, আমরা পরস্পরে পরস্পরের মাধ্যমে ফল লাভ করেছি। আপনি আমাদের জন্যে যে সময় নির্ধারণ করেছিলেন, আমরা তাতে উপনীত হয়েছি। আল্লাহ বলবেনঃ আগুন হল তোমাদের বাসস্থান। তথায় তোমরা চিরকাল অবস্থান করবে; কিন্তু যখন চাইবেন আল্লাহ। নিশ্চয় আপনার পালনকর্তা প্রজ্ঞাময়, মহাজ্ঞানী।
One day will He gather them all together, (and say): "O ye assembly of Jinns! Much (toll) did ye take of men." Their friends amongst men will say: "Our Lord! we made profit from each other: but (alas!) we reached our term - which thou didst appoint for us." He will say: "The Fire be your dwelling-place: you will dwell therein for ever, except as Allah willeth." for thy Lord is full of wisdom and knowledge. |
(আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ১২৮) |
| 21 |
আপনি বলে দিনঃ হে আমার সম্প্রদায়, তোমরা স্বস্থানে কাজ করে যাও, আমিও কাজ করি। অচিরেই জানতে পারবে যে, পরিণাম গৃহ কে লাভ করে। নিশ্চয় জালেমরা সুফলপ্রাপ্ত হবে না।
Say: "O my people! Do whatever ye can: I will do (my part): soon will ye know who it is whose end will be (best) in the Hereafter: certain it is that the wrong-doers will not prosper." |
(আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ১৩৫) |
| 22 |
তাদের নিকট কি একথা প্রকাশিত হয়নি, যারা উত্তারাধিকার লাভ করেছে। সেখানকার লোকদের ধ্বংসপ্রাপ্ত হবার পর যদি আমি ইচ্ছা করতাম, , তবে তাদেরকে তাদের পাপের দরুন পাকড়াও করে ফেলতাম। বস্তুতঃ আমি মোহর এঁটে দিয়েছি তাদের অন্তরসমূহের উপর। কাজেই এরা শুনতে পায় না।
To those who inherit the earth in succession to its (previous) possessors, is it not a guiding, (lesson) that, if We so willed, We could punish them (too) for their sins, and seal up their hearts so that they could not hear? |
(আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১০০) |
| 23 |
বস্তুতঃ যাদুকররা এসে ফেরাউনের কাছে উপস্থিত হল। তারা বলল, আমাদের জন্যে কি কোন পারিশ্রমিক নির্ধারিত আছে, যদি আমরা জয়লাভ করি?
So there came the sorcerers to Pharaoh: They said, "of course we shall have a (suitable) reward if we win!" |
(আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১১৩) |
| 24 |
আর যারা কাফের তারা পারস্পরিক সহযোগী, বন্ধু। তোমরা যদি এমন ব্যবস্থা না কর, তবে দাঙ্গা-হাঙ্গামা বিস্তার লাভ করবে এবং দেশময় বড়ই অকল্যাণ হবে।
The Unbelievers are protectors, one of another: Unless ye do this, (protect each other), there would be tumult and oppression on earth, and great mischief. |
(আল-আনফাল:
আয়াতঃ ৭৩) |
| 25 |
যদি বের না হও, তবে আল্লাহ তোমাদের মর্মন্তুদ আযাব দেবেন এবং অপর জাতিকে তোমাদের স্থলাভিষিক্ত করবেন। তোমরা তাঁর কোন ক্ষতি করতে পারবে না, আর আল্লাহ সর্ববিষয়ে শক্তিমান।
Unless ye go forth, He will punish you with a grievous penalty, and put others in your place; but Him ye would not harm in the least. For Allah hath power over all things. |
(আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৩৯) |
| 26 |
যদি আশু লাভের সম্ভাবনা থাকতো এবং যাত্রাপথও সংক্ষিপ্ত হতো, তবে তারা অবশ্যই আপনার সহযাত্রী হতো, কিন্তু তাদের নিকট যাত্রাপথ সুদীর্ঘ মনে হল। আর তারা এমনই শপথ করে বলবে, আমাদের সাধ্য থাকলে অবশ্যই তোমাদের সাথে বের হতাম, এরা নিজেরাই নিজেদের বিনষ্ট করছে, আর আল্লাহ জানেন যে, এরা মিথ্যাবাদী।
If there had been immediate gain (in sight), and the journey easy, they would (all) without doubt have followed thee, but the distance was long, (and weighed) on them. They would indeed swear by Allah, "If we only could, we should certainly have come out with you": They would destroy their own souls; for Allah doth know that they are certainly lying. |

আয়াতঃ ৪২) |

পেছনে থেকে যাওয়া লোকেরা আল্লাহর রসূল থেকে বিচ্ছিন্ন হয়ে বসে থাকতে পেরে আনন্দ লাভ করেছে; আর জান ও মালের দ্বারা আল্লাহর রাহে জেহাদ করতে অপছন্দ করেছে এবং বলেছে, এই গরমের মধ্যে অভিযানে বের হয়ো না। বলে দাও, উত্তাপে জাহান্নামের আগুন প্রচন্ডতম। যদি তাদের বিবেচনা শক্তি থাকত।
Those who were left behind (in the Tabuk expedition) rejoiced in their inaction behind the back of the Messenger of Allah: they hated to strive and fight, with their goods and their persons, in the cause of Allah: they said, "Go not forth in the heat." Say, "The fire of Hell is fiercer in heat." If only they could understand! |

আয়াতঃ ৮১) |
| 28 |
আর ছলনাকারী বেদুঈন লোকেরা এলো, যাতে তাদের অব্যাহতি লাভ হতে পারে এবং নিবৃত্ত থাকতে পারে তাদেরই যারা আল্লাহ ও রসূলের সাথে মিথ্যা বলে ছিল। এবার তাদের উপর শীগ্রই আসবে বেদনাদায়ক আযাব যারা কাফের।
And there were, among the desert Arabs (also), men who made excuses and came to claim exemption; and those who were false to Allah and His Messenger (merely) sat inactive. Soon will a grievous penalty seize the Unbelievers among them. |

আয়াতঃ ৯০) |
| 29 |
আর কোন কোন বেদুইন হল তারা, যারা ঈমান আনে আল্লাহর উপর, কেয়ামত দিনের উপর এবং নিজেদের ব্যয়কে আল্লাহর নৈকট্য এবং রসূলের দোয়া লাভের উপায় বলে গণ্য করে। জেনো! তাই হল তাদের ক্ষেত্রে নৈকট্য। আল্লাহ তাদেরকে নিজের রহমতের অন্তর্ভূক্ত করবেন। নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ ক্ষমাশীল, করুনাময়।
But some of the desert Arabs believe in Allah and the Last Day, and look on their payments as pious gifts bringing them nearer to Allah and obtaining the prayers of the Messenger. Aye, indeed they bring them nearer (to Him): soon will Allah admit them to His Mercy: for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. |

| 30 |
আর সমস্ত মুমিনের অভিযানে বের হওয়া সঙ্গত নয়। তাই তাদের প্রত্যেক দলের একটি অংশ কেন বের হলো না, যাতে দ্বীনের জ্ঞান লাভ করে এবং সংবাদ দান করে স্বজাতিকে, যখন তারা তাদের কাছে প্রত্যাবর্তন করবে, যেন তারা বাঁচতে পারে।
Nor should the Believers all go forth together: if a contingent from every expedition remained behind, they could devote themselves to studies in religion, and admonish the people when they return to them,- that thus they (may learn) to guard themselves (against evil). |

| 31 |
অবশ্যই যেসব লোক আমার সাক্ষাৎ লাভের আশা রাখে না এবং পার্থিব জীবন নিয়েই উৎফুল্ল রয়েছে, তাতেই প্রশান্তি অনুভব করেছে এবং যারা আমার নির্দশনসমূহ সম্পর্কে বেখবর।
Those who rest not their hope on their meeting with Us, but are pleased and satisfied with the life of the present, and those who heed not Our Signs,- |

| 32 |
আর উপাসনা করে আল্লাহকে বাদ দিয়ে এমন বস্তুর, যা না তাদের কোন ক্ষতিসাধন করতে পারে, না লাভ এবং বলে, এরা তো আল্লাহর কাছে আমাদের সুপারিশকারী। তুমি বল, তোমরা কি আল্লাহকে এমন বিষয়ে অবহিত করছ, যে সম্পর্কে তিনি অবহিত নন আসমান ও যমীনের মাঝে ? তিনি পুতঃপবিত্র ও মহান সে সমস্ত থেকে যাকে তোমরা শরীক করছ।
They serve, besides Allah, things that hurt them not nor profit them, and they say: "These are our intercessors with Allah." Say: "Do ye indeed inform Allah of something He knows not, in the heavens or on earth?- Glory to Him! and far is He above the partners they ascribe (to Him)!" |
(ইউনুস:

তুমি বল, আমি আমার নিজের ক্ষতি কিংবা লাভেরও মালিক নই, কিন্তু আল্লাহ যা ইচ্ছা করেন। প্রত্যেক সম্প্রদায়ের জন্যই একেকটি ওয়াদা রয়েছে, যখন তাদের সে ওয়াদা এসে পৌঁছে যাবে, তখন না একদন্ড পেছনে সরতে পারবে, না সামনে ফসকাতে পারবে,।
Say: "I have no power over any harm or profit to myself except as Allah willeth. To every people is a term appointed: when their term is reached, not an hour can they cause delay, nor (an hour) can they advance (it in anticipation)." |

| 34 |
তিনি তোমাদের জন্য তৈরী করেছেন রাত, যাতে করে তোমরা তাতে প্রশান্তি লাভ করতে পার, আর দিন দিয়েছেন দর্শন করার জন্য। নিঃসন্দেহে এতে নিদর্শন রয়েছে সে সব লোকের জন্য যারা শ্রবণ করে।
He it is That hath made you the night that ye may rest therein, and the day to make things visible (to you). Verily in this are signs for those who listen (to His Message). |

পার্থিবজীবনে সামান্যই লাভ, অতঃপর আমার নিকট প্রত্যাবর্তন করতে হবে। তখন আমি তাদেরকে আস্বাদন করাব কঠিন আযাব-তাদেরই কৃত কুফরীর বদলাতে।
A little enjoyment in this world!- and then, to Us will be their return, then shall We make them taste the severest penalty for their blasphemies. |

আর হে আমার জাতি! আমি তো এজন্য তোমাদের কাছে কোন অর্থ চাই না; আমার পারিশ্রমিক তো আল্লাহর জিম্মায় রয়েছে। আমি কিন্তু ঈমানদারদের তাড়িয়ে দিতে পারি না। তারা অবশ্যই তাদের পালনকর্তার সাক্ষাত লাভ করবে। বরঞ্চ তোমাদেরই আমি অজ্ঞ সম্প্রদায় দেখছি।
"And O my people! I ask you for no wealth in return: my reward is from none but Allah: But I will not drive away (in contempt) those who believe: for verily they are to meet their Lord, and ye I see are the ignorant ones! |

তথাপি যদি তোমরা মুখ ফেরাও, তবে আমি তোমাদেরকে তা পৌছিয়েছি যা আমার কাছে তোমাদের প্রতি প্রেরিত হয়েছে; আর আমার পালনকর্তা অন্য কোন জাতিকে তোমাদের স্থলাভিষিক্ত করবেন, আর তোমরা তাঁর কিছুই বিগড়াতে পারবে না; নিশ্চয়ই আমার পরওয়ারদেগারই প্রতিটি বস্তুর হেফাজতকারী।
"If ye turn away,- I (at least) have conveyed the Message with which I was sent to you. My Lord will make another people to succeed you, and you will not harm Him in the least. For my Lord hath care and watch over all things." |

সালেহ বললেন-হে আমার জাতি! তোমরা কি মনে কর, আমি যদি আমার পালনকর্তার পক্ষ হতে বুদ্ধি বিবেচনা লাভ করে থাকি আর তিনি যদি আমাকে নিজের তরফ হতে রহমত দান করে থাকেন, অতঃপর আমি যদি তাঁর অবাধ্য হই তবে তার থেকে কে আমায় রক্ষা করবে? তোমরা তো আমার ক্ষতি ছাড়া কিছুই বৃদ্ধি করতে পরবে না
He said: "O my people! do ye see? if I have a Clear (Sign) from my Lord and He hath sent Mercy unto me from Himself,- who then can help me against Allah if I were to disobey Him? What then would ye add to my (portion) but perdition? |

বাদশাহ বললঃ তাকে আমার কাছে নিয়ে এসো। আমি তাকে নিজের বিশ্বস্ত সহচর করে রাখব। অতঃপর যখন তার সাথে মতবিনিময় করল, তখন বললঃ নিশ্চয়ই আপনি আমার কাছে আজ থেকে বিশ্বস্ত হিসাবে মর্যাদার স্থান লাভ করেছেন।
So the king said: "Bring him unto me; I will take him specially to serve about my own person." Therefore when he had spoken to him, he said: "Be assured this day, thou art, before our own presence, with rank firmly established, and fidelity fully proved! |

যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে এবং তাদের অন্তর আল্লাহর যিকির দ্বারা শান্তি লাভ করে; জেনে রাখ, আল্লাহর যিকির দ্বারাই অন্তর সমূহ শান্তি পায়।
"Those who believe, and whose hearts find satisfaction in the remembrance of Allah: for without doubt in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find satisfaction. |

আয়াতঃ ২৮) |

যাদেরকে তারা আহবান করে, তারা নিজেরাই তো তাদের পালনকর্তার নৈকট্য লাভের জন্য মধ্যস্থ তালাশ করে যে, তাদের মধ্যে কে নৈকট্যশীল। তারা তাঁর রহমতের আশা করে এবং তাঁর শাস্তিকে ভয় করে। নিশ্চয় আপনার পালনকর্তার শাস্তি ভয়াবহ।
Those whom they call upon do desire (for themselves) means of access to their Lord, - even those who are nearest: they hope for His Mercy and fear His Wrath: for the Wrath of thy Lord is something to take heed of. |

আয়াতঃ ৫৭) |
| 42 |
তারা যদি তোমাদের খবর জানতে পারে, তবে পাথর মেরে তোমাদেরকে হত্যা করবে, অথবা তোমাদেরকে তাদের ধর্মে ফিরিয়ে নেবে। তাহলে তোমরা কখনই সাফল্য লাভ করবে না।
"For if they should come upon you, they would stone you or force you to return to their cult, and in that case ye would never attain prosperity." |
(কাহফ:
আয়াতঃ ২০) |

ধনৈশ্বর্য ও সন্তান-সন্ততি পার্থিব জীবনের সৌন্দর্য এবং স্থায়ী সৎকর্মসমূহ আপনার পালনকর্তার কাছে প্রতিদান প্রাপ্তি ও আশা লাভের জন্যে উত্তম।
Wealth and sons are allurements of the life of this world: But the things that endure, good deeds, are best in the sight of thy Lord, as rewards, and best as (the foundation for) hopes. |
(কাহফ:
আয়াতঃ ৪৬) |
| 44 |
সে আমার স্থলাভিষিক্ত হবে ইয়াকুব বংশের এবং হে আমার পালনকর্তা, তাকে করুন সন্তোষজনক।
"(One that) will (truly) represent me, and represent the posterity of Jacob; and make him, O my Lord! one with whom Thou art well-pleased!" |

আয়াতঃ ৬) |

কেয়ামত অবশ্যই আসবে, আমি তা গোপন রাখতে চাই; যাতে প্রত্যেকেই তার কর্মানুযায়ী ফল লাভ করে।
"Verily the Hour is coming - My design is to keep it hidden - for every soul to receive its reward by the measure of its Endeavour. |
(ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ১৫) |
| 46 |
আমরা ওহী লাভ করেছি যে, যে ব্যক্তি মিথ্যারোপ করে এবং মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয়, তার উপর আযাব পড়বে।
"'Verily it has been revealed to us that the Penalty (awaits) those who reject and turn away.'" |
(ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ৪৮) |

তারাই উত্তরাধিকার লাভ করবে।
These will be the heirs, |

আয়াতঃ ১০) |

তারা শীতল ছায়াময় উদ্যানের উত্তরাধিকার লাভ করবে। তারা তাতে চিরকাল থাকবে।
Who will inherit Paradise: they will dwell therein (for ever). |
(আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ১১) |
| 49 |
অতঃপর অন্য এক সম্প্রদায় আমি তার স্থলাভিষিক্ত করেছিলাম।
Then We raised after them another generation. |
(আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ৩১) |

যারা পছন্দ করে যে, ঈমানদারদের মধ্যে ব্যভিচার প্রসার লাভ করুক, তাদের জন্যে ইহাকাল ও পরকালে যন্ত্রণাদায়ক শাস্তি রয়েছে। আল্লাহ জানেন, তোমরা জান না।
Those who love (to see) scandal published broadcast among the Believers, will have a grievous Penalty in this life and in the Hereafter: Allah knows, and ye know not. |
(আন-নূর:
আয়াতঃ ১৯) |
| 51 |
বল তো কে নিঃসহায়ের ডাকে সাড়া দেন যখন সে ডাকে এবং কষ্ট দূরীভূত করেন এবং তোমাদেরকে পৃথিবীতে পুর্ববর্তীদের স্থলাভিষিক্ত করেন। সুতরাং আল্লাহর সাথে অন্য কোন উপাস্য আছে কি? তোমরা অতি সামান্যই ধ্যান কর।
Or, Who listens to the (soul) distressed when it calls on Him, and Who relieves its suffering, and makes you (mankind) inheritors of the earth? (Can there be another) god besides Allah? Little it is that ye heed! |

মানুষের ধন-সম্পদে তোমাদের ধন-সম্পদ বৃদ্ধি পাবে, এই আশায় তোমরা সুদে যা কিছু দাও, আল্লাহর কাছে তা বৃদ্ধি পায় না। পক্ষান্তরে, আল্লাহর সন্তুষ্টি লাভের আশায় পবিত্র অন্তরে যারা দিয়ে থাকে, অতএব, তারাই দ্বিগুণ লাভ করে।
That which ye lay out for increase through the property of (other) people, will have no increase with Allah: but that which ye lay out for charity, seeking the Countenance of Allah, (will increase): it is these who will get a recompense multiplied. |
(আর-রূম:
আয়াতঃ ৩৯) |
| 53 |
সেদিন জালেমদের ওযর-আপত্তি তাদের কোন উপকারে আসবে না এবং তওবা করে আল্লাহর সন্তুষ্টি লাভের সুযোগও তাদের দেয়া হবে না।
So on that Day no excuse of theirs will avail the transgressors, nor will they be invited (then) to seek grace (by repentance). |
(আর-রূম:
আয়াতঃ ৫৭) |
| 54 |
তারা তোমাদের প্রতি কুন্ঠাবোধ করে। যখন বিপদ আসে, তখন আপনি দেখবেন মৃত্যুভয়ে অচেতন ব্যক্তির মত চোখ উল্টিয়ে তারা আপনার প্রতি তাকায়। অতঃপর যখন বিপদ টলে যায় তখন তারা ধন-সম্পদ লাভের আশায় তোমাদের সাথে বাকচাতুরীতে অবতীর্ণ হয়। তারা মুমিন নয়। তাই আল্লাহ তাদের কর্মসমূহ নিস্ফল করে দিয়েছেন। এটা আল্লাহর জন্যে সহজ।
Covetous over you. Then when fear comes, thou wilt see them looking to thee, their eyes revolving, like (those of) one over whom hovers death: but when the fear is past, they will smite you with sharp tongues, covetous of goods. Such men have no faith, and so Allah has made their deeds of none effect: and that is easy for Allah. |

আয়াতঃ ১৯) |
| 55 |
তাদের আগে আমি কত জনগোষ্ঠীকে ধ্বংস করেছি, অতঃপর তারা আর্তনাদ করতে শুরু করেছে কিন্তু তাদের নিষ্কৃতি লাভের সময় ছিল না।
How many generations before them did We destroy? In the end they cried (for mercy)- when there was no longer time for being saved! |

আয়াতঃ ৩) |
| 56 |
এ চরিত্র তারাই লাভ করে, যারা সবর করে এবং এ চরিত্রের অধিকারী তারাই হয়, যারা অত্যন্ত ভাগ্যবান।
And no one will be granted such goodness except those who exercise patience and self-restraint,- none but persons of the greatest good fortune. |
(হা-মীম সেজদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৩৫) |
| 57 |
আরও দিয়েছিলাম তাদেরকে ধর্মের সুস্পষ্ট প্রমাণাদি। অতঃপর তারা জ্ঞান লাভ করার পর শুধু পারস্পরিক জেদের বশবর্তী হয়ে মতভেদ সৃষ্টি করেছে। তারা যে বিষয়ে মতভেদ করত, আপনার পালনকর্তা কেয়ামতের দিন তার ফয়সালা করে দেবেন।
And We granted them Clear Signs in affairs (of Religion): it was only after knowledge had been granted to them that they fell into schisms, through insolent envy among themselves. Verily thy Lord will judge between them on the Day of Judgment as to those matters in which they set up differences. |
(আল জাসিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ১৭) |
| 58 |
অতঃপর আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে তারা যাদেরকে সান্নিধ্য লাভের জন্যে উপাস্যরূপে গ্রহণ করেছিল, তারা তাদেরকে সাহায্য করল না কেন? বরং তারা তাদের কাছ থেকে উধাও হয়ে গেল। এটা ছিল তাদের মিথ্যা ও মনগড়া বিষয়।
Why then was no help forthcoming to them from those whom they worshipped as gods, besides Allah, as a means of access (to Allah)? Nay, they left them in the lurch: but that was their falsehood and their invention. |

আয়াতঃ ২৮) |
| 59 |
ক্ষমতা লাভ করলে, সম্ভবতঃ তোমরা পৃথিবীতে অনর্থ সৃষ্টি করবে এবং আত্নীয়তা বন্ধন ছিন্ন করবে।
Then, is it to be expected of you, if ye were put in authority, that ye will do mischief in the land, and break your ties of kith and kin? |
(মুহাম্মদ:
আয়াতঃ ২২) |
| 60 |
এবং বিপুল পরিমাণে যুদ্ধলব্ধ সম্পদ, যা তারা লাভ করবে। আল্লাহ পরাক্রমশালী, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
And many gains will they acquire (besides): and Allah is Exalted in Power, Full of Wisdom. |

আয়াতঃ ১৯) |

আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে বিপুল পরিমাণ যুদ্ধলব্ধ সম্পদের ওয়াদা দিয়েছেন, যা তোমরা লাভ করবে। তিনি তা তোমাদের জন্যে ত্বরান্বিত করবেন। তিনি তোমাদের থেকে শত্রুদের স্তব্দ করে দিয়েছেন-যাতে এটা মুমিনদের জন্যে এক নিদর্শন হয় এবং তোমাদেরকে সরল পথে পরিচালিত করেন।
Allah has promised you many gains that ye shall acquire, and He has given you these beforehand; and He has restrained the hands of men from you; that it may be a Sign for the Believers, and that He may guide you to a Straight Path; |

আয়াতঃ ২০) |

অতঃপর আমি তাদের পশ্চাতে প্রেরণ করেছি আমার রসূলগণকে এবং তাদের অনুগামী করেছি মরিয়ম তনয় ঈসাকে ও তাকে দিয়েছি ইঞ্জিল। আমি তার অনুসারীদের অন্তরে স্থাপন করেছি নম্রতা ও দয়া। আর বৈরাগ্য, সে তো তারা নিজেরাই উদ্ভাবন করেছে; আমি এটা তাদের উপর ফরজ করিনি; কিন্তু তারা আল্লাহর সন্তুষ্টি লাভের জন্যে এটা অবলম্বন করেছে। অতঃপর তারা যথাযথভাবে তা পালন করেনি। তাদের মধ্যে যারা বিশ্বাসী ছিল, আমি তাদেরকে তাদের প্রাপ্য পুরস্কার দিয়েছি। আর তাদের অধিকাংশই পাপাচারী।
Then, in their wake, We followed them up with (others of) Our messengers: We sent after them Jesus the son of Mary, and bestowed on him the Gospel; and We ordained in the hearts of those who followed him Compassion and Mercy. But the Monasticism which they invented for themselves, We did not prescribe for them: (We commanded) only the seeking for the Good Pleasure of Allah; but that they did not foster as they should have done. Yet We bestowed, on those among them who believed, their (due) reward, but many of them are rebellious transgressors. |
(আল হাদীদ:
আয়াতঃ ২৭) |

এই ধন-সম্পদ দেশত্যাগী নিঃস্বদের জন্যে, যারা আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ ও সন্তুষ্টিলাভের অন্বেষণে এবং আল্লাহ তাঁর রসূলের সাহায্যার্থে নিজেদের বাস্তুভিটা ও ধন-সম্পদ থেকে বহিস্কৃত হয়েছে। তারাই সত্যবাদী।
(Some part is due) to the indigent Muhajirs, those who were expelled from their homes and their property, while seeking Grace from Allah and (His) Good Pleasure, and aiding Allah and His Messenger: such are indeed the sincere ones:- |

আয়াতঃ ৮) |

মুমিনগণ, তোমরা আমার ও তোমাদের শত্রুদেরকে বন্ধরূপে গ্রহণ করো না। তোমরা তো তাদের প্রতি বন্ধুত্বের বার্তা পাঠাও, অথচ তারা যে সত্য তোমাদের কাছে আগমন করেছে, তা অস্বীকার করছে। তারা রসূলকে ও তোমাদেরকে বহিস্কার করে এই অপরাধে যে, তোমরা তোমাদের পালনকর্তার প্রতি বিশ্বাস রাখ। যদি তোমরা আমার সন্তুষ্টিলাভের জন্যে এবং আমার পথে জেহাদ করার জন্যে বের হয়ে থাক, তবে কেন তাদের প্রতি গোপনে বন্ধুত্বের পয়গাম প্রেরণ করছ? তোমরা যা গোপন কর এবং যা প্রকাশ কর, ত আমি খুব জানি। তোমাদের মধ্যে যে এটা করে, সে সরলপথ থেকে বিচ্যুত হয়ে যায়।
O ye who believe! Take not my enemies and yours as friends (or protectors),- offering them (your) love, even though they have rejected the Truth that has come to you, and have (on the contrary) driven out the Prophet and yourselves (from your homes), (simply) because ye believe in Allah your Lord! If ye have come out to strive in My Way and to seek My Good Pleasure, (take them not as friends), holding secret converse of love (and friendship) with them: for I know full well all that ye conceal and all that ye reveal. And any of you that does this has strayed from the Straight Path. |

| 65 |
আল্লাহ তোমাদের জন্যে কসম থেকে অব্যহতি লাভের উপায় নির্ধারণ করে দিয়েছেন। আল্লাহ তোমাদের মালিক। তিনি সর্বজ্ঞ, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
Allah has already ordained for you, (O men), the dissolution of your oaths (in some cases): and Allah is your Protector, and He is Full of Knowledge and Wisdom. |
(আত-তাহরীম:
আয়াতঃ ২) |
| 66 |
এটা তোমাদের প্রতিদান। তোমাদের প্রচেষ্টা স্বীকৃতি লাভ করেছে।
"Verily this is a Reward for you, and your Endeavour is accepted and recognised." |
(আদ-দাহর:
আয়াতঃ ২২) |
| 67 |
এবং চন্দ্রের, যখন তা পূর্ণরূপ লাভ করে,
And the Moon in her fullness: |
(আল ইনশিক্বাক্ব:
আয়াতঃ ১৮) |
| 68 |
নিশ্চয় সাফল্য লাভ করবে সে, যে শুদ্ধ হয়
But those will prosper who purify themselves, |
(আল আ'লা:
আয়াতঃ ১৪) |
| 69 |
সে সত্বরই সন্তুষ্টি লাভ করবে।
And soon will they attain (complete) satisfaction. |

আয়াতঃ ২১) |
