এতদসম্পর্কে যদি তোমাদের কোন সন্দেহ থাকে যা আমি আমার বান্দার প্রতি অবতীর্ণ করেছি, তাহলে এর মত একটি সূরা রচনা করে নিয়ে এস। তোমাদের সেসব সাহায্যকারীদেরকে সঙ্গে নাও-এক আল্লাহকে ছাড়া, যদি তোমরা সত্যবাদী হয়ে থাকো।
And if ye are in doubt as to what We have revealed from time to time to Our servant, then produce a Sura like thereunto; and call your witnesses or helpers (If there are any) besides Allah, if your (doubts) are true. |

দেখতো, কিভাবে মিথ্যা বলছে নিজেদের বিপক্ষে ? এবং যেসব বিষয় তারা আপনার প্রতি মিছামিছি রচনা করত, তা সবই উধাও হয়ে গেছে।
Behold! how they lie against their own souls! But the (lie) which they invented will leave them in the lurch. |

তারা কি বলে? আপনি কোরআন রচনা করে এনেছেন? আপনি বলে দিন আমি যদি রচনা করে এনে থাকি, তবে সে অপরাধ আমার, আর তোমরা যেসব অপরাধ কর তার সাথে আমার কোন সম্পর্ক নেই।
Or do they say, "He has forged it"? Say: "If I had forged it, on me were my sin! and I am free of the sins of which ye are guilty! |

মিথ্যা কেবল তারা রচনা করে, যারা আল্লাহর নিদর্শনে বিশ্বাস করে না এবং তারাই মিথ্যাবাদী।
It is those who believe not in the Signs of Allah, that forge falsehood: it is they who lie! |
(নাহল:

বলুনঃ যদি মানব ও জ্বিন এই কোরআনের অনুরূপ রচনা করে আনয়নের জন্যে জড়ো হয়, এবং তারা পরস্পরের সাহায্যকারী হয়; তবুও তারা কখনও এর অনুরূপ রচনা করে আনতে পারবে না।
Say: "If the whole of mankind and Jinns were to gather together to produce the like of this Qur'an, they could not produce the like thereof, even if they backed up each other with help and support. |
(বনী ইসরাঈল:

তারা কি বলে, এটা সে মিথ্যা রচনা করেছে? বরং এটা আপনার পালনকর্তার তরফ থেকে সত্য, যাতে আপনি এমন এক সম্প্রদায়কে সতর্ক করেন, যাদের কাছে আপনার পূর্বে কোন সতর্ককারী আসেনি। সম্ভবতঃ এরা সুপথ প্রাপ্ত হবে।
Or do they say, "He has forged it"? Nay, it is the Truth from thy Lord, that thou mayest admonish a people to whom no warner has come before thee: in order that they may receive guidance. |

তারা কি বলে যে, রসূল একে রচনা করেছে? বলুন, যদি আমি রচনা করে থাকি, তবে তোমরা আল্লাহর শাস্তি থেকে আমাকে রক্ষা করার অধিকারী নও। তোমরা এ সম্পর্কে যা আলোচনা কর, সে বিষয়ে আল্লাহ সম্যক অবগত। আমার ও তোমাদের মধ্যে তিনি সাক্ষী হিসাবে যথেষ্ট। তিনি ক্ষমাশীল, দয়াময়।
Or do they say, "He has forged it"? Say: "Had I forged it, then can ye obtain no single (blessing) for me from Allah. He knows best of that whereof ye talk (so glibly)! Enough is He for a witness between me and you! And he is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful." |
(আল আহক্বাফ:

না তারা বলেঃ এই কোরআন সে নিজে রচনা করেছে? বরং তারা অবিশ্বাসী।
Or do they say, "He fabricated the (Message)"? Nay, they have no faith! |
(আত্ব তূর:
আয়াতঃ ৩৩) |

যদি তারা সত্যবাদী হয়ে থাকে, তবেএর অনুরূপ কোন রচনা উপস্থিত করুক।
Let them then produce a recital like unto it,- If (it be) they speak the truth! |
(আত্ব তূর:
আয়াতঃ ৩৪) |
| 10 |
সে যদি আমার নামে কোন কথা রচনা করত,
And if the messenger were to invent any sayings in Our name, |
