যেমন, আমি পাঠিয়েছি তোমাদেরই মধ্য থেকে তোমাদের জন্যে একজন রসূল, যিনি তোমাদের নিকট আমার বাণীসমুহ পাঠ করবেন এবং তোমাদের পবিত্র করবেন; আর তোমাদের শিক্ষা দেবেন কিতাব ও তাঁর তত্ত্বজ্ঞান এবং শিক্ষা দেবেন এমন বিষয় যা কখনো তোমরা জানতে না।
A similar (favour have ye already received) in that We have sent among you a Messenger of your own, rehearsing to you Our Signs, and sanctifying you, and instructing you in Scripture and Wisdom, and in new knowledge. |

কোন মানুষকে আল্লাহ কিতাব, হেকমত ও নবুওয়ত দান করার পর সে বলবে যে, ‘তোমরা আল্লাহকে পরিহার করে আমার বান্দা হয়ে যাও’-এটা সম্ভব নয়। বরং তারা বলবে, ‘তোমরা আল্লাহওয়ালা হয়ে যাও, যেমন, তোমরা কিতাব শিখাতে এবং যেমন তোমরা নিজেরা ও পড়তে।
It is not (possible) that a man, to whom is given the Book, and Wisdom, and the prophetic office, should say to people: "Be ye my worshippers rather than Allah's": on the contrary (He would say) "Be ye worshippers of Him Who is truly the Cherisher of all: For ye have taught the Book and ye have studied it earnestly." |

যেমন, রীতি রয়েছে ফেরাউনের অনুসারীদের এবং তাদের পূর্বে যারা ছিল তাদের ব্যাপারে যে, এরা আল্লাহর নির্দেশের প্রতি অস্বীকৃতি জ্ঞাপন করেছে এবং সেজন্য আল্লাহ তা’আলা তাদের পাকড়াও করেছেন তাদেরই পাপের দরুন। নিঃসন্দেহে আল্লাহ মহাশক্তিশালী, কঠিন শাস্তিদাতা।
"(Deeds) after the manner of the people of Pharaoh and of those before them: They rejected the Signs of Allah, and Allah punished them for their crimes: for Allah is Strong, and Strict in punishment: |

যেমন, কওমে নূহ, আদ, সামুদ ও তাদের পরবর্তীদের অবস্থা হয়েছিল। আল্লাহ বান্দাদের প্রতি কোন যুলুম করার ইচ্ছা করেন না।
"Something like the fate of the People of Noah, the 'Ad, and the Thamud, and those who came after them: but Allah never wishes injustice to his Servants. |
