"যেতাম" শব্দযুক্ত আয়াত ম্যাচ করেছেঃ ৬
নং	আয়াত	সূরা
1	এবং অনুসারীরা বলবে, কতইনা ভাল হত, যদি আমাদিগকে পৃথিবীতে ফিরে যাবার সুযোগ দেয়া হত। তাহলে আমরাও তাদের প্রতি তেমনি অসন্তুষ্ট হয়ে যেতাম, যেমন তারা অসন্তুষ্ট হয়েছে আমাদের প্রতি। এভাবেই আল্লাহ তা’আলা তাদেরকে দেখাবেন তাদের কৃতকর্ম তাদেরকে অনুতপ্ত করার জন্যে। অথচ, তারা কস্মিনকালেও আগুন থেকে বের হতে পারবে না। And those who followed would say: "If only We had one more chance, We would clear ourselves of them, as they have cleared themselves of us." Thus will Allah show them (The fruits of) their deeds as (nothing but) regrets. Nor will there be a way for them out of the Fire.	(আল বাকারা: আয়াতঃ ১৬৭)
2	আর আপনি যদি দেখেন, যখন তাদেরকে দোযখের উপর দাঁড় করানো হবে! তারা বলবেঃ কতই না ভাল হত, যদি আমরা পুনঃ প্রেরিত হতাম; তা হলে আমরা স্বীয় পালনকর্তার নিদর্শনসমূহে মিথ্যারোপ করতাম না এবং আমরা বিশ্বাসীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হয়ে যেতাম। If thou couldst but see when they are confronted with the Fire! They will say: "Would that we were but sent back! Then would we not reject the signs of our Lord, but would be amongst those who believe!"	(আল আনআম: আয়াতঃ ২৭)
3	প্রসব বেদনা তাঁকে এক খেজুর বৃক্ষ-মূলে আশ্রয় নিতে বাধ্য করল। তিনি বললেনঃ হায়, আমি যদি কোনরূপে এর পূর্বে মরে যেতাম এবং মানুষের স্মৃতি থেকে বিলুপ্ত হয়ে, যেতাম! And the pains of childbirth drove her to the trunk of a palm-tree: She cried (in her anguish): "Ah! would that I had died before this! would that I had been a thing forgotten and out of sight!"	(মারইয়াম: আয়াতঃ ২৩)
4	হায়, যদি কোনরুপে আমরা পৃথিবীতে প্রত্যাবর্তনের সুযোগ পেতাম, তবে আমরা বিশ্বাস স্থাপনকারী হয়ে যেতাম। "'Now if we only had a chance of return we shall truly be of those who believe!'"	(আশ-শো'আরা: আয়াতঃ ১০২)
5	আর এ জন্য যে, তাদের কৃতকর্মের জন্যে তাদের কোন বিপদ হলে তারা বলত, হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা, তুমি আমাদের কাছে কোন রসূল প্রেরণ করলে না কেন? করলে আমরা তোমার আয়াতসমূহের অনুসরণ করতাম এবং আমরা বিশ্বাস স্থাপনকারী হয়ে যেতাম। If (We had) not (sent thee to the Quraish),- in case a calamity should seize them for (the deeds) that their hands have sent forth, they might say: "Our Lord! why didst Thou not sent us a messenger? We should then have followed Thy Signs and been amongst those who believe!"	(আল কাসাস: আয়াতঃ ৪৭)
6	আমি তোমাদেরকে আসন্ন শাস্তি সম্পর্কে সতর্ক করলাম, যেদিন মানুষ প্রত্যেক্ষ করবে যা সে সামনে প্রেরণ করেছে এবং কাফের বলবেঃ হায়, আফসোস-আমি যদি মাটি হয়ে যেতাম। Verily, We have warned you of a Penalty near, the Day when man will see (the deeds) which his hands have sent forth, and the Unbeliever will say, "Woe unto me! Would that I were (metre) dust!"	(আন-নাবা: আয়াতঃ ৪০)
