সে বললঃ হে মূসা, তুমি কি যাদুর জোরে আমাদেরকে দেশ থেকে বহিষ্কার করার জন্যে আগমন করেছ?
He said: "Hast thou come to drive us out of our land with thy magic, O Moses? |

মূসা বললেনঃ বরং তোমরাই নিক্ষেপ কর। তাদের যাদুর প্রভাবে হঠাৎ তাঁর মনে হল, যেন তাদের রশিগুলো ও লাঠিগুলো চুটাছুটি করছে।
He said, "Nay, throw ye first!" Then behold their ropes and their rods-so it seemed to him on account of their magic - began to be in lively motion! |

তাদের অন্তর থাকে খেলায় মত্ত। জালেমরা গোপনে পরামর্শ করে, সে তো তোমাদেরই মত একজন মানুষ; এমতাবস্থায় দেখে শুনে তোমরা তার যাদুর কবলে কেন পড়?
Their hearts toying as with trifles. The wrong-doers conceal their private counsels, (saying), "Is this (one) more than a man like yourselves? Will ye go to witchcraft with your eyes open?" |
