তিনি বললেন, হে আদম, ফেরেশতাদেরকে বলে দাও এসবের নাম। তারপর যখন তিনি বলে দিলেন সে সবের নাম, তখন তিনি বললেন, আমি কি তোমাদেরকে বলিনি যে, আমি আসমান ও যমীনের যাবতীয় গোপন বিষয় সম্পর্কে খুব ভাল করেই অবগত রয়েছি? এবং সেসব বিষয়ও জানি যা তোমরা প্রকাশ কর, আর যা তোমরা গোপন কর!
He said: "O Adam! Tell them their names." When he had told them, Allah said: "Did I not tell you that I know the secrets of heaven and earth, and I know what ye reveal and what ye conceal?" |

নিশ্চয়ই আসমান ও যমীনের সৃষ্টিতে, রাত ও দিনের বিবর্তনে এবং নদীতে নৌকাসমূহের চলাচলে মানুষের জন্য কল্যাণ রয়েছে। আর আল্লাহ তা’ আলা আকাশ থেকে যে পানি নাযিল করেছেন, তদ্দ্বারা মৃত যমীনকে সজীব করে তুলেছেন এবং তাতে ছড়িয়ে দিয়েছেন সবরকম জীব-জন্তু। আর আবহাওয়া পরিবর্তনে এবং মেঘমালার যা তাঁরই হুকুমের অধীনে আসমান ও যমীনের মাঝে বিচরণ করে, নিশ্চয়ই সে সমস্ত বিষয়ের মাঝে নিদর্শন রয়েছে বুদ্ধিমান সম্প্রদায়ের জন্যে।
Behold! in the creation of the heavens and the earth; in the alternation of the night and the day; in the sailing of the ships through the ocean for the profit of mankind; in the rain which Allah Sends down from the skies, and the life which He gives therewith to an earth that is dead; in the beasts of all kinds that He scatters through the earth; in the change of the winds, and the clouds which they Trail like their slaves between the sky and the earth;- (Here) indeed are Signs for a people that are wise. |

আল্লাহর নিকট আসমান ও যমীনের কোন বিষয়ই গোপন নেই।
From Allah, verily nothing is hidden on earth or in the heavens. |
(আল ইমরান:

আল্লাহ তাদেরকে নিজের অনুগ্রহে যা দান করেছেন তাতে যারা কৃপণতা করে এই কার্পন্য তাদের জন্য মঙ্গলকর হবে বলে তারা যেন ধারণা না করে। বরং এটা তাদের পক্ষে একান্তই ক্ষতিকর প্রতিপন্ন হবে। যাতে তারা কার্পন্য করে সে সমস্ত ধন-সম্পদকে কিয়ামতের দিন তাদের গলায় বেড়ী বানিয়ে পরানো হবে। আর আল্লাহ হচ্ছেন আসমান ও যমীনের পরম সত্ত্বাধিকারী। আর যা কিছু তোমরা কর; আল্লাহ সে সম্পর্কে জানেন।
And let not those who covetously withhold of the gifts which Allah Hath given them of His Grace, think that it is good for them: Nay, it will be the worse for them: soon shall the things which they covetously withheld be tied to their necks Like a twisted collar, on the Day of Judgment. To Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is well-acquainted with all that ye do. |

সেদিন কামনা করবে সে সমস্ত লোক, যারা কাফের হয়েছিল এবং রসূলের নাফরমানী করেছিল, যেন যমীনের সাথে মিশে যায়। কিন্তু গোপন করতে পারবে না আল্লাহর নিকট কোন বিষয়।
On that day those who reject Faith and disobey the messenger will wish that the earth Were made one with them: But never will they hide a single fact from Allah! |

আপনাকে জিজ্ঞেস করে, কেয়ামত কখন অনুষ্ঠিত হবে? বলে দিন এর খবর তো আমার পালনকর্তার কাছেই রয়েছে। তিনিই তা অনাবৃত করে দেখাবেন নির্ধারিত সময়ে। আসমান ও যমীনের জন্য সেটি অতি কঠিন বিষয়। যখন তা তোমাদের উপর আসবে অজান্তেই এসে যাবে। আপনাকে জিজ্ঞেস করতে থাকে, যেন আপনি তার অনুসন্ধানে লেগে আছেন। বলে দিন, এর সংবাদ বিশেষ করে আল্লাহর নিকটই রয়েছে। কিন্তু তা অধিকাংশ লোকই উপলব্ধি করে না।
They ask thee about the (final) Hour - when will be its appointed time? Say: "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord (alone): None but He can reveal as to when it will occur. Heavy were its burden through the heavens and the earth. Only, all of a sudden will it come to you." They ask thee as if thou Wert eager in search thereof: Say: "The knowledge thereof is with Allah (alone), but most men know not." |

আর প্রীতি সঞ্চার করেছেন তাদের অন্তরে। যদি তুমি সেসব কিছু ব্যয় করে ফেলতে, যা কিছু যমীনের বুকে রয়েছে, তাদের মনে প্রীতি সঞ্চার করতে পারতে না। কিন্তু আল্লাহ তাদের মনে প্রীতি সঞ্চার করেছেন। নিঃসন্দেহে তিনি পরাক্রমশালী, সুকৌশলী।
And (moreover) He hath put affection between their hearts: not if thou hadst spent all that is in the earth, couldst thou have produced that affection, but Allah hath done it: for He is Exalted in might, Wise. |

নিশ্চয় আল্লাহরই জন্য আসমানসমূহ ও যমীনের সাম্রাজ্য। তিনিই জিন্দা করেন ও মৃত্যু ঘটান, আর আল্লাহ ব্যতীত তোমাদের জন্য কোন সহায়ও নেই, কোন সাহায্যকারীও নেই।
Unto Allah belongeth the dominion of the heavens and the earth. He giveth life and He taketh it. Except for Him ye have no protector nor helper. |

আর উপাসনা করে আল্লাহকে বাদ দিয়ে এমন বস্তুর, যা না তাদের কোন ক্ষতিসাধন করতে পারে, না লাভ এবং বলে, এরা তো আল্লাহর কাছে আমাদের সুপারিশকারী। তুমি বল, তোমরা কি আল্লাহকে এমন বিষয়ে অবহিত করছ, যে সম্পর্কে তিনি অবহিত নন আসমান ও যমীনের মাঝে ? তিনি পুতঃপবিত্র ও মহান সে সমস্ত থেকে যাকে তোমরা শরীক করছ।
They serve, besides Allah, things that hurt them not nor profit them, and they say: "These are our intercessors with Allah." Say: "Do ye indeed inform Allah of something He knows not, in the heavens or on earth?- Glory to Him! and far is He above the partners they ascribe (to Him)!" |

পার্থিব জীবনের উদাহরণ তেমনি, যেমনি আমি আসমান থেকে পানি বর্ষন করলাম, পরে তা মিলিত সংমিশ্রিত হয়ে তা থেকে যমীনের শ্যামল উদ্ভিদ বেরিয়ে এল যা মানুষ ও জীব-জন্তুরা খেয়ে থাকে। এমনকি যমীন যখন সৌন্দর্য সুষমায় ভরে উঠলো আর যমীনের অধিকর্তারা ভাবতে লাগল, এগুলো আমাদের হাতে আসবে, হঠাৎ করে তার উপর আমার নির্দেশ এল রাত্রে কিংবা দিনে, তখন সেগুলোকে কেটে স্তুপাকার করে দিল যেন কাল ও এখানে কোন আবাদ ছিল না। এমনিভাবে আমি খোলাখুলি বর্ণনা করে থাকি নিদর্শণসমূহ সে সমস্ত লোকদের জন্য যারা লক্ষ্য করে।
The likeness of the life of the present is as the rain which We send down from the skies: by its mingling arises the produce of the earth- which provides food for men and animals: (It grows) till the earth is clad with its golden ornaments and is decked out (in beauty): the people to whom it belongs think they have all powers of disposal over it: There reaches it Our command by night or by day, and We make it like a harvest clean-mown, as if it had not flourished only the day before! thus do We explain the Signs in detail for those who reflect. |

বস্তুতঃ যদি প্রত্যেক গোনাহগারের কাছে এত পরিমাণ থাকে যা আছে সমগ্র যমীনের মাঝে, আর অবশ্যই যদি সেগুলো নিজের মুক্তির বিনিময়ে দিতে চাইবে আর গোপনে গোপনে অনুতাপ করবে, যখন আযাব দেখবে। বস্তুতঃ তাদের জন্য সিদ্ধান্ত হবে ন্যায়সঙ্গত এবং তাদের উপর জুলম হবে না।
Every soul that hath sinned, if it possessed all that is on earth, would fain give it in ransom: They would declare (their) repentance when they see the penalty: but the judgment between them will be with justice, and no wrong will be done unto them. |

আয়াতঃ ৫৪) |

বস্তুতঃ যে কোন অবস্থাতেই তুমি থাক এবং কোরআনের যে কোন অংশ থেকেই পাঠ করা কিংবা যে কোন কাজই তোমরা কর অথচ আমি তোমাদের নিকটে উপস্থিত থাকি যখন তোমরা তাতে আত্ননিয়োগ কর। আর তোমার পরওয়ারদেগার থেকে গোপন থাকে না একটি কনাও, না যমীনের এবং না আসমানের। না এর চেয়ে ক্ষুদ্র কোন কিছু আছে, না বড় যা এই প্রকৃষ্ট কিতাবে নেই।
In whatever business thou mayest be, and whatever portion thou mayest be reciting from the Qur'an,- and whatever deed ye (mankind) may be doing,- We are witnesses thereof when ye are deeply engrossed therein. Nor is hidden from thy Lord (so much as) the weight of an atom on the earth or in heaven. And not the least and not the greatest of these things but are recorded in a clear record. |

আর আল্লাহর কাছেই আছে আসমান ও যমীনের গোপন তথ্য; আর সকল কাজের প্রত্যাবর্তন তাঁরই দিকে; অতএব, তাঁরই বন্দেগী কর এবং তাঁর উপর ভরসা রাখ, আর তোমাদের কার্যকলাপ সম্বন্ধে তোমার পালনকর্তা কিন্তু বে-খবর নন।
To Allah do belong the unseen (secrets) of the heavens and the earth, and to Him goeth back every affair (for decision): then worship Him, and put thy trust in Him: and thy Lord is not unmindful of aught that ye do. |

আয়াতঃ ১২৩) |

তিনি বললেনঃ তুমি জান যে, আসমান ও যমীনের পালনকর্তাই এসব নিদর্শনাবলী প্রত্যক্ষ প্রমাণস্বরূপ নাযিল করেছেন। হে ফেরাউন, আমার ধারণায় তুমি ধ্বংস হতে চলেছো।
Moses said, "Thou knowest well that these things have been sent down by none but the Lord of the heavens and the earth as eye-opening evidence: and I consider thee indeed, O Pharaoh, to be one doomed to destruction!" |
(বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ১০২) |
| 15 |
আমি তাদের মন দৃঢ় করেছিলাম, যখন তারা উঠে দাঁড়িয়েছিল। অতঃপর তারা বললঃ আমাদের পালনকর্তা আসমান ও যমীনের পালনকর্তা আমরা কখনও তার পরিবর্তে অন্য কোন উপাস্যকে আহবান করব না। যদি করি, তবে তা অত্যন্ত গর্হিত কাজ হবে।
We gave strength to their hearts: Behold, they stood up and said: "Our Lord is the Lord of the heavens and of the earth: never shall we call upon any god other than Him: if we did, we should indeed have uttered an enormity! |
(কাহফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৪) |
| 16 |
সমস্ত প্রশংসা আল্লাহর, যিনি আসমান ও যমীনের স্রষ্টা এবং ফেরেশতাগণকে করেছেন বার্তাবাহক-তারা দুই দুই, তিন তিন ও চার চার পাখাবিশিষ্ট। তিনি সৃষ্টি মধ্যে যা ইচ্ছা যোগ করেন। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সর্ববিষয়ে সক্ষম।
Praise be to Allah, Who created (out of nothing) the heavens and the earth, Who made the angels, messengers with wings,- two, or three, or four (pairs): He adds to Creation as He pleases: for Allah has power over all things. |

| 17 |
আল্লাহ আসমান ও যমীনের অদৃশ্য বিষয় সম্পর্কে জ্ঞাত। তিনি অন্তরের বিষয় সম্পর্কেও সবিশেষ অবহিত।
Verily Allah knows (all) the hidden things of the heavens and the earth: verily He has full knowledge of all that is in (men's) hearts. |
(ফাতির:
আয়াতঃ ৩৮) |
| 18 |
তুমি কি দেখনি যে, আল্লাহ আকাশ থেকে পানি বর্ষণ করেছেন, অতঃপর সে পানি যমীনের ঝর্ণাসমূহে প্রবাহিত করেছেন, এরপর তদ্দ্বারা বিভিন্ন রঙের ফসল উৎপন্ন করেন, অতঃপর তা শুকিয়ে যায়, ফলে তোমরা তা পীতবর্ণ দেখতে পাও। এরপর আল্লাহ তাকে খড়-কুটায় পরিণত করে দেন। নিশ্চয় এতে বুদ্ধিমানদের জন্যে উপদেশ রয়েছে।
Seest thou not that Allah sends down rain from the sky, and leads it through springs in the earth? Then He causes to grow, therewith, produce of various colours: then it withers; thou wilt see it grow yellow; then He makes it dry up and crumble away. Truly, in this, is a Message of remembrance to men of understanding. |

| 19 |
বলুন, হে আল্লাহ আসমান ও যমীনের স্রষ্টা, দৃশ্য ও অদৃশ্যের জ্ঞানী, আপনিই আপনার বান্দাদের মধ্যে ফয়সালা করবেন, যে বিষয়ে তারা মত বিরোধ করত।
Say: "O Allah! Creator of the heavens and the earth! Knower of all that is hidden and open! it is Thou that wilt judge between Thy Servants in those matters about which they have differed." |
(আল-যুমার:
আয়াতঃ ৪৬) |
| 20 |
আসমান ও যমীনের চাবি তাঁরই নিকট। যারা আল্লাহর আয়াতসমূহকে অস্বীকার করে, তারাই ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত।
To Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth: and those who reject the Signs of Allah,- it is they who will be in loss. |
