তিনি বললেন, হে পালনকর্তা আমার জন্য কিছু নিদর্শন দাও। তিনি বললেন, তোমার জন্য নিদর্শন হলো এই যে, তুমি তিন দিন পর্যন্ত কারও সাথে কথা বলবে না। তবে ইশারা ইঙ্গতে করতে পারবে এবং তোমার পালনকর্তাকে অধিক পরিমাণে স্মরণ করবে আর সকাল-সন্ধ্যা তাঁর পবিত্রতা ও মহিমা ঘোষনা করবে।
He said: "O my Lord! Give me a Sign!" "Thy Sign," was the answer, "Shall be that thou shalt speak to no man for three days but with signals. Then celebrate the praises of thy Lord again and again, and glorify Him in the evening and in the morning." |

তারা বলল-তুমি আল্লাহর হুকুম সম্পর্কে বিস্ময়বোধ করছ? হে গৃহবাসীরা, তোমাদের উপর আল্লাহর রহমত ও প্রভুত বরকত রয়েছে। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ প্রশংসিত মহিমাময়।
They said: "Dost thou wonder at Allah's decree? The grace of Allah and His blessings on you, o ye people of the house! for He is indeed worthy of all praise, full of all glory!" |

নিশ্চয় মহিলা তার বিষয়ে চিন্তা করেছিল এবং সেও মহিলার বিষয়ে চিন্তা করত। যদি না সে স্বীয় পালনকর্তার মহিমা অবলোকন করত। এমনিবাবে হয়েছে, যাতে আমি তার কাছ থেকে মন্দ বিষয় ও নিলজ্জ বিষয় সরিয়ে দেই। নিশ্চয় সে আমার মনোনীত বান্দাদের একজন।
And (with passion) did she desire him, and he would have desired her, but that he saw the evidence of his Lord: thus (did We order) that We might turn away from him (all) evil and shameful deeds: for he was one of Our servants, sincere and purified. |

তারা আল্লাহর জন্যে কন্যা সন্তান নির্ধারণ করে-তিনি পবিত্র মহিমান্বিত এবং নিজেদের জন্যে ওরা তাই স্থির করে যা ওরা চায়।
And they assign daughters for Allah! - Glory be to Him! - and for themselves (sons,- the issue) they desire! |

পরম পবিত্র ও মহিমাময় সত্তা তিনি, যিনি স্বীয় বান্দাকে রাত্রি বেলায় ভ্রমণ করিয়েছিলেন মসজিদে হারাম থেকে মসজিদে আকসা পর্যান্ত-যার চার দিকে আমি পর্যাপ্ত বরকত দান করেছি যাতে আমি তাঁকে কুদরতের কিছু নিদর্শন দেখিয়ে দেই। নিশ্চয়ই তিনি পরম শ্রবণকারী ও দর্শনশীল।
Glory to (Allah) Who did take His servant for a Journey by night from the Sacred Mosque to the farthest Mosque, whose precincts We did bless,- in order that We might show him some of Our Signs: for He is the One Who heareth and seeth (all things). |

তিনি নেহায়েত পবিত্র ও মহিমান্বিত এবং তারা যা বলে থাকে তা থেকে বহু উর্ধ্বে।
Glory to Him! He is high above all that they say!- Exalted and Great (beyond measure)! |

সপ্ত আকাশ ও পৃথিবী এবং এগুলোর মধ্যে যাকিছু আছে সমস্ত কিছু তাঁরই পবিত্রতা ও মহিমা ঘোষণা করে। এবং এমন কিছু নেই যা তার সপ্রশংস পবিত্রতা ও মহিমা ঘোষনা করে না। কিন্তু তাদের পবিত্রতা, মহিমা ঘোষণা তোমরা অনুধাবন করতে পার না। নিশ্চয় তিনি অতি সহনশীল, ক্ষমাপরায়ণ।
The seven heavens and the earth, and all beings therein, declare His glory: there is not a thing but celebrates His praise; And yet ye understand not how they declare His glory! Verily He is Oft-Forbear, Most Forgiving! |
(বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ৪৪) |

আল্লাহ এমন নন যে, সন্তান গ্রহণ করবেন, তিনি পবিত্র ও মহিমাময় সত্তা, তিনি যখন কোন কাজ করা সিদ্ধান্ত করেন, তখন একথাই বলেনঃ হও এবং তা হয়ে যায়।
It is not befitting to (the majesty of) Allah that He should beget a son. Glory be to Him! when He determines a matter, He only says to it, "Be", and it is. |

আয়াতঃ ৩৫) |

যাতে আমরা বেশী করে আপনার পবিত্রতা ও মহিমা ঘোষনা করতে পারি।
"That we may celebrate Thy praise without stint, |
(ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ৩৩) |

সুতরাং এরা যা বলে সে বিষয়ে ধৈর্য্য ধারণ করুন এবং আপনার পালনকর্তার প্রশংসা পবিত্রতা ও মহিমা ঘোষনা করুন সূর্যোদয়ের পূর্বে, সূর্যাস্তের পূর্বে এবং পবিত্রতা ও মহিমা ঘোষনা করুন রাত্রির কিছু অংশ ও দিবাভাগে, সম্ভবতঃ তাতে আপনি সন্তুষ্ট হবেন।
Therefore be patient with what they say, and celebrate (constantly) the praises of thy Lord, before the rising of the sun, and before its setting; yea, celebrate them for part of the hours of the night, and at the sides of the day: that thou mayest have (spiritual) joy. |

তারা রাত্রিদিন তাঁর পবিত্রতা ও মহিমা বর্ণনা করে এবং ক্লান্ত হয় না।
They celebrate His praises night and day, nor do they ever flag or intermit. |
(আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ২০) |
| 12 |
অতঃপর আমি সুলায়মানকে সে ফায়সালা বুঝিয়ে দিয়েছিলাম এবং আমি উভয়কে প্রজ্ঞা ও জ্ঞান দিয়েছিলাম। আমি পর্বত ও পক্ষীসমূহকে দাউদের অনুগত করে দিয়েছিলাম; তারা আমার পবিত্রতা ও মহিমা ঘোষণা করত। এই সমস্ত আমিই করেছিলাম।
To Solomon We inspired the (right) understanding of the matter: to each (of them) We gave Judgment and Knowledge; it was Our power that made the hills and the birds celebrate Our praises, with David: it was We Who did (all these things). |

আয়াতঃ ৭৯) |
| 13 |
অতএব শীর্ষ মহিমায় আল্লাহ, তিনি সত্যিকার মালিক, তিনি ব্যতীত কোন মাবুদ নেই। তিনি সম্মানিত আরশের মালিক।
Therefore exalted be Allah, the King, the Reality: there is no god but He, the Lord of the Throne of Honour! |
(আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ১১৬) |

আল্লাহ যেসব গৃহকে মর্যাদায় উন্নীত করার এবং সেগুলোতে তাঁর নাম উচ্চারণ করার আদেশ দিয়েছেন, সেখানে সকাল ও সন্ধ্যায় তাঁর পবিত্রতা ও মহিমা ঘোষণা করে;
(Lit is such a Light) in houses, which Allah hath permitted to be raised to honour; for the celebration, in them, of His name: In them is He glorified in the mornings and in the evenings, (again and again),- |

আয়াতঃ ৩৬) |

তুমি কি দেখ না যে, নভোমন্ডল ও ভূমন্ডলে যারা আছে, তারা এবং উড়ন্ত পক্ষীকুল তাদের পাখা বিস্তার করতঃ আল্লাহর পবিত্রতা ও মহিমা ঘোষণা করে? প্রত্যেকেই তার যোগ্য এবাদত এবং পবিত্রতা ও মহিমা ঘোষণার পদ্ধতি জানে। তারা যা করে, আল্লাহ সে বিষয়ে সম্যক জ্ঞাত।
Seest thou not that it is Allah Whose praises all beings in the heavens and on earth do celebrate, and the birds (of the air) with wings outspread? Each one knows its own (mode of) prayer and praise. And Allah knows well all that they do. |

আয়াতঃ ৪১) |
| 16 |
অতঃপর যখন তিনি আগুনের কাছে আসলেন তখন আওয়াজ হল ধন্য তিনি, যিনি আগুনের স্থানে আছেন এবং যারা আগুনের আশেপাশে আছেন। বিশ্ব জাহানের পালনকর্তা আল্লাহ পবিত্র ও মহিমান্বিত।
But when he came to the (fire), a voice was heard: "Blessed are those in the fire and those around: and glory to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. |
(নমল:
আয়াতঃ ৮) |
| 17 |
একমাত্র আপনার মহিমায় ও মহানুভব পালনকর্তার সত্তা ছাড়া।
But will abide (for ever) the Face of thy Lord,- full of Majesty, Bounty and Honour. |
(আর রহমান:
আয়াতঃ ২৭) |
| 18 |
কত পূণ্যময় আপনার পালনকর্তার নাম, যিনি মহিমাময় ও মহানুভব।
Blessed be the name of thy Lord, full of Majesty, Bounty and Honour. |
(আর রহমান:
আয়াতঃ ৭৮) |
