অতঃপর হযরত আদম (আঃ) স্বীয় পালনকর্তার কাছ থেকে কয়েকটি কথা শিখে নিলেন, অতঃপর আল্লাহ পাক তাঁর প্রতি (করুণাভরে) লক্ষ্য করলেন। নিশ্চয়ই তিনি মহা-ক্ষমাশীল ও অসীম দয়ালু।
Then learnt Adam from his Lord words of inspiration, and his Lord Turned towards him; for He is Oft-Returning, Most Merciful. |
(আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ৩৭) |

আর (স্মরণ কর) সে সময়ের কথা, যখন আমি তোমাদিগকে মুক্তিদান করেছি ফেরআউনের লোকদের কবল থেকে যারা তোমাদিগকে কঠিন শাস্তি দান করত; তোমাদের পুত্রসন্তানদেরকে জবাই করত এবং তোমাদের স্ত্রীদিগকে অব্যাহতি দিত। বস্তুতঃ তাতে পরীক্ষা ছিল তোমাদের পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে, মহা পরীক্ষা।
And remember, We delivered you from the people of Pharaoh: They set you hard tasks and punishments, slaughtered your sons and let your women-folk live; therein was a tremendous trial from your Lord. |

আহলে-কিতাব ও মুশরিকদের মধ্যে যারা কাফের, তাদের মনঃপুত নয় যে, তোমাদের পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে তোমাদের প্রতি কোন কল্যাণ অবতীর্ণ হোক। আল্লাহ যাকে ইচ্ছা বিশেষ ভাবে স্বীয় অনুগ্রহ দান করেন। আল্লাহ মহান অনুগ্রহদাতা।
It is never the wish of those without Faith among the People of the Book, nor of the Pagans, that anything good should come down to you from your Lord. But Allah will choose for His special Mercy whom He will - for Allah is Lord of grace abounding. |

আয়াতঃ ১০৫) |

অতএব তারা যদি ঈমান আনে, তোমাদের ঈমান আনার মত, তবে তারা সুপথ পাবে। আর যদি মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয়, তবে তারাই হঠকারিতায় রয়েছে। সুতরাং এখন তাদের জন্যে আপনার পক্ষ থেকে আল্লাহই যথেষ্ট। তিনিই শ্রবণকারী, মহাজ্ঞানী।
So if they believe as ye believe, they are indeed on the right path; but if they turn back, it is they who are in schism; but Allah will suffice thee as against them, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing. |

আর তোমাদের উপাস্য একইমাত্র উপাস্য। তিনি ছাড়া মহা করুণাময় দয়ালু কেউ নেই।
And your Allah is One Allah: There is no god but He, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. |
(আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ১৬৩) |

তিনি তোমাদের উপর হারাম করেছেন, মৃত জীব, রক্ত, শুকর মাংস এবং সেসব জীব-জন্তু যা আল্লাহ ব্যাতীত অপর কারো নামে উৎসর্গ করা হয়। অবশ্য যে লোক অনন্যোপায় হয়ে পড়ে এবং নাফরমানী ও সীমালঙ্ঘনকারী না হয়, তার জন্য কোন পাপ নেই। নিঃসন্দেহে আল্লাহ মহান ক্ষমাশীল, অত্যন্ত দয়ালু।
He hath only forbidden you dead meat, and blood, and the flesh of swine, and that on which any other name hath been invoked besides that of Allah. But if one is forced by necessity, without wilful disobedience, nor transgressing due limits,- then is he guiltless. For Allah is Oft-forgiving Most Merciful. |

সম্মানিত মাস সম্পর্কে তোমার কাছে জিজ্ঞেস করে যে, তাতে যুদ্ধ করা কেমন? বলে দাও এতে যুদ্ধ করা ভীষণ বড় পাপ। আর আল্লাহর পথে প্রতিবন্দ্বকতা সৃষ্টি করা এবং কুফরী করা, মসজিদে-হারামের পথে বাধা দেয়া এবং সেখানকার অধিবাসীদেরকে বহিস্কার করা, আল্লাহর নিকট তার চেয়েও বড় পাপ। আর ধর্মের ব্যাপারে ফেতনা সৃষ্টি করা নরহত্যা অপেক্ষাও মহা পাপ। বস্তুতঃ তারা তো সর্বদাই তোমাদের সাথে যুদ্ধ করতে থাকবে, যাতে করে তোমাদিগকে দ্বীন থেকে ফিরিয়ে দিতে পারে যদি সম্ভব হয়। তোমাদের মধ্যে যারা নিজের দ্বীন থেকে ফিরে দাঁড়াবে এবং কাফের অবস্থায় মৃত্যুবরণ করবে, দুনিয়া ও আখেরাতে তাদের যাবতীয় আমল বিনষ্ট হয়ে যাবে। আর তারাই হলো দোযখবাসী। তাতে তারা চিরকাল বাস করবে।
They ask thee concerning fighting in the Prohibited Month. Say: "Fighting therein is a grave (offence); but graver is it in the sight of Allah to prevent access to the path of Allah, to deny Him, to prevent access to the Sacred Mosque, and drive out its members." Tumult and oppression are worse than slaughter. Nor will they cease fighting you until they turn you back from your faith if they can. And if any of you Turn back from their faith and die in unbelief, their works will bear no fruit in this life and in the Hereafter; they will be companions of the Fire and will abide therein. |

তারা তোমাকে মদ ও জুয়া সম্পর্কে জিজ্ঞেস করে। বলে দাও, এতদুভয়ের মধ্যে রয়েছে মহাপাপ। আর মানুষের জন্যে উপকারিতাও রয়েছে, তবে এগুলোর পাপ উপকারিতা অপেক্ষা অনেক বড়। আর তোমার কাছে জিজ্ঞেস করে, কি তারা ব্যয় করবে? বলে দাও, নিজেদের প্রয়োজনীয় ব্যয়ের পর যা বাঁচে তাই খরচ করবে। এভাবেই আল্লাহ তোমাদের জন্যে নির্দেশ সুস্পষ্টরূপে বর্ণনা করেন, যাতে তোমরা চিন্তা করতে পার।
They ask thee concerning wine and gambling. Say: "In them is great sin, and some profit, for men; but the sin is greater than the profit." They ask thee how much they are to spend; Say: "What is beyond your needs." Thus doth Allah Make clear to you His Signs: In order that ye may consider- |

দুনিয়া ও আখেরাতের বিষয়ে। আর তোমার কাছে জিজ্ঞেস করে, এতীম সংক্রান্ত হুকুম। বলে দাও, তাদের কাজ-কর্ম সঠিকভাবে গুছিয়ে দেয়া উত্তম আর যদি তাদের ব্যয়ভার নিজের সাথে মিশিয়ে নাও, তাহলে মনে করবে তারা তোমাদের ভাই । বস্তুতঃ অমঙ্গলকামী ও মঙ্গলকামীদেরকে আল্লাহ জানেন। আল্লাহ যদি ইচ্ছা করতেন, তাহলে তোমাদের উপর জটিলতা আরোপ করতে পারতেন। নিশ্চয়ই তিনি পরাক্রমশালী, মহাপ্রজ্ঞ।
(Their bearings) on this life and the Hereafter. They ask thee concerning orphans. Say: "The best thing to do is what is for their good; if ye mix their affairs with yours, they are your brethren; but Allah knows the man who means mischief from the man who means good. And if Allah had wished, He could have put you into difficulties: He is indeed Exalted in Power, Wise." |

আল্লাহ ছাড়া অন্য কোন উপাস্য নেই, তিনি জীবিত, সবকিছুর ধারক। তাঁকে তন্দ্রাও স্পর্শ করতে পারে না এবং নিদ্রাও নয়। আসমান ও যমীনে যা কিছু রয়েছে, সবই তাঁর। কে আছ এমন, যে সুপারিশ করবে তাঁর কাছে তাঁর অনুমতি ছাড়া? দৃষ্টির সামনে কিংবা পিছনে যা কিছু রয়েছে সে সবই তিনি জানেন। তাঁর জ্ঞানসীমা থেকে তারা কোন কিছুকেই পরিবেষ্টিত করতে পারে না, কিন্তু যতটুকু তিনি ইচ্ছা করেন। তাঁর সিংহাসন সমস্ত আসমান ও যমীনকে পরিবেষ্টিত করে আছে। আর সেগুলোকে ধারণ করা তাঁর পক্ষে কঠিন নয়। তিনিই সর্বোচ্চ এবং সর্বাপেক্ষা মহান।
Allah! There is no god but He,-the Living, the Self-subsisting, Eternal. No slumber can seize Him nor sleep. His are all things in the heavens and on earth. Who is there can intercede in His presence except as He permitteth? He knoweth what (appeareth to His creatures as) before or after or behind them. Nor shall they compass aught of His knowledge except as He willeth. His Throne doth extend over the heavens and the earth, and He feeleth no fatigue in guarding and preserving them for He is the Most High, the Supreme (in glory). |

যারা বংশধর ছিলেন পরস্পরের। আল্লাহ শ্রবণকারী ও মহাজ্ঞানী।
Offspring, one of the other: And Allah heareth and knoweth all things. |
(আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ৩৪) |
| 12 |
যখন ফেরেশতাগণ বললো, হে মারইয়াম আল্লাহ তোমাকে তাঁর এক বানীর সুসংবাদ দিচ্ছেন, যার নাম হলো মসীহ-মারইয়াম-তনয় ঈসা, দুনিয়া ও আখেরাতে তিনি মহাসম্মানের অধিকারী এবং আল্লাহর ঘনিষ্ঠদের অন্তর্ভূক্ত।
Behold! the angels said: "O Mary! Allah giveth thee glad tidings of a Word from Him: his name will be Christ Jesus, the son of Mary, held in honour in this world and the Hereafter and of (the company of) those nearest to Allah; |
(আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ৪৫) |
| 13 |
নিঃসন্দেহে এটাই হলো সত্য ভাষণ। আর এক আল্লাহ ছাড়া অন্য কোন ইলাহ নেই। আর আল্লাহ; তিনিই হলেন পরাক্রমশালী মহাপ্রাজ্ঞ।
This is the true account: There is no god except Allah; and Allah-He is indeed the Exalted in Power, the Wise. |

আয়াতঃ ৬২) |
| 14 |
তিনি যাকে ইচ্ছা নিজের বিশেষ অনুগ্রহ দান করেন। আর আল্লাহ মহা অনুগ্রহশীল।
For His Mercy He specially chooseth whom He pleaseth; for Allah is the Lord of bounties unbounded. |
(আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ৭৪) |
| 15 |
বস্তুতঃ এটা তো আল্লাহ তোমাদের সুসংবাদ দান করলেন, যাতে তোমাদের মনে এতে সান্ত্বনা আসতে পারে। আর সাহায্য শুধুমাত্র পরাক্রান্ত, মহাজ্ঞানী আল্লাহরই পক্ষ থেকে,
Allah made it but a message of hope for you, and an assurance to your hearts: (in any case) there is no help except from Allah. The Exalted, the Wise: |

আয়াতঃ ১২৬) |
| 16 |
যারা আহত হয়ে পড়ার পরেও আল্লাহ এবং তাঁর রসূলের নির্দেশ মান্য করেছে, তাদের মধ্যে যারা সৎ ও পরহেযগার, তাদের জন্য রয়েছে মহান সওয়াব।
Of those who answered the call of Allah and the Messenger, even after being wounded, those who do right and refrain from wrong have a great reward;- |

আয়াতঃ ১৭২) |
| 17 |
আর যারা কুফরের দিকে ধাবিত হচ্ছে তারা যেন তোমাদিগকে চিন্তাম্বিত করে না তোলে। তারা আল্লাহ তা’আলার কোন কিছুই অনিষ্ট সাধন করতে পারবে না। আখেরাতে তাদেরকে কোন কল্যাণ দান না করাই আল্লাহর ইচ্ছা। বস্তুতঃ তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে মহা শাস্তি।
Let not those grieve thee who rush headlong into Unbelief: Not the least harm will they do to Allah: Allah's plan is that He will give them no portion in the Hereafter, but a severe punishment. |
(আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১৭৬) |
| 18 |
অবশ্যই আল্লাহ তাদের তওবা কবুল করবেন, যারা ভূলবশতঃ মন্দ কাজ করে, অতঃপর অনতিবিলম্বে তওবা করে; এরাই হল সেসব লোক যাদেরকে আল্লাহ ক্ষমা করে দেন। আল্লাহ মহাজ্ঞানী, রহস্যবিদ।
Allah accept the repentance of those who do evil in ignorance and repent soon afterwards; to them will Allah turn in mercy: For Allah is full of knowledge and wisdom. |
(আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১৭) |
| 19 |
আল্লাহ তোমাদের জন্যে সব কিছু পরিষ্কার বর্ণনা করে দিতে চান, তোমাদের পূর্ববর্তীদের পথ প্রদর্শন করতে চান। এবং তোমাদেরকে ক্ষমা করতে চান, আল্লাহ মহাজ্ঞানী রহস্যবিদ।
Allah doth wish to make clear to you and to show you the ordinances of those before you; and (He doth wish to) turn to you (In Mercy): And Allah is All-knowing, All-wise. |
(আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ২৬) |
| 20 |
এতে সন্দেহ নেই যে, আমার নিদর্শন সমুহের প্রতি যেসব লোক অস্বীকৃতি জ্ঞাপন করবে, আমি তাদেরকে আগুনে নিক্ষেপ করব। তাদের চামড়াগুলো যখন জ্বলে-পুড়ে যাবে, তখন আবার আমি তা পালটে দেব অন্য চামড়া দিয়ে, যাতে তারা আযাব আস্বাদন করতে থাকে। নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ মহাপরাক্রমশালী, হেকমতের অধিকারী।
Those who reject our Signs, We shall soon cast into the Fire: as often as their skins are roasted through, We shall change them for fresh skins, that they may taste the penalty: for Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise. |
(আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ৫৬) |
| 21 |
আর তখন অবশ্যই আমি তাদেরকে নিজের পক্ষ থেকে মহান সওয়াব দেব।
And We should then have given them from our presence a great reward; |
(আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ৬৭) |
| 22 |
কাজেই আল্লাহর কাছে যারা পার্থিব জীবনকে আখেরাতের পরিবর্তে বিক্রি করে দেয় তাদের জেহাদ করাই কর্তব্য। বস্তুতঃ যারা আল্লাহর রাহে লড়াই করে এবং অতঃপর মৃত্যুবরণ করে কিংবা বিজয় অর্জন করে, আমি তাদেরকে মহাপুণ্য দান করব।
Let those fight in the cause of Allah Who sell the life of this world for the hereafter. To him who fighteth in the cause of Allah,- whether he is slain or gets victory - Soon shall We give him a reward of great (value). |
(আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ৭৪) |
| 23 |
মুসলমানের কাজ নয় যে, মুসলমানকে হত্যা করে; কিন্তু ভুলক্রমে। যে ব্যক্তি মুসলমানকে ভূলক্রমে হত্যা করে, সে একজন মুসলমান ক্রীতদাস মুক্ত করবে এবং রক্ত বিনিময় সমর্পন করবে তার স্বজনদেরকে; কিন্তু যদি তারা ক্ষমা করে দেয়। অতঃপর যদি নিহত ব্যক্তি তোমাদের শত্রু সম্প্রদায়ের অন্তর্গত হয়, তবে মুসলমান ক্রীতদাস মুক্ত করবে এবং যদি সে তোমাদের সাথে চুক্তিবদ্ধ কোন সম্প্রদায়ের অন্তর্গত হয়, তবে রক্ত বিনিময় সমর্পণ করবে তার স্বজনদেরকে এবং একজন মুসলমান ক্রীতদাস মুক্ত করবে। অতঃপর যে ব্যক্তি না পায়, সে আল্লাহর কাছ থেকে গোনাহ মাফ করানোর জন্যে উপর্যুপুরি দুই মাস রোযা রাখবে। আল্লাহ, মহাজ্ঞানী, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
Never should a believer kill a believer; but (If it so happens) by mistake, (Compensation is due): If one (so) kills a believer, it is ordained that he should free a believing slave, and pay compensation to the deceased's family, unless they remit it freely. If the deceased belonged to a people at war with you, and he was a believer, the freeing of a believing slave (Is enough). If he belonged to a people with whom ye have treaty of Mutual alliance, compensation should be paid to his family, and a believing slave be freed. For those who find this beyond their means, (is prescribed) a fast for two months running: by way of repentance to Allah: for Allah hath all knowledge and all wisdom. |

আয়াতঃ ৯২) |
| 24 |
গৃহে উপবিষ্ট মুসলমান-যাদের কোন সঙ্গত ওযর নেই এবং ঐ মুসলমান যারা জান ও মাল দ্বারা আল্লাহর পথে জেহাদ করে,-সমান নয়। যারা জান ও মাল দ্বারা জেহাদ করে, আল্লাহ তাদের পদমর্যাদা বাড়িয়ে দিয়েছেন গৃহে উপবিষ্টদের তুলনায় এবং প্রত্যেকের সাথেই আল্লাহ কল্যাণের ওয়াদা করেছেন। আল্লাহ মুজাহেদীনকে উপবিষ্টদের উপর মহান প্রতিদানে শ্রেষ্ঠ করেছেন।
Not equal are those believers who sit (at home) and receive no hurt, and those who strive and fight in the cause of Allah with their goods and their persons. Allah hath granted a grade higher to those who strive and fight with their goods and persons than to those who sit (at home). Unto all (in Faith) Hath Allah promised good: But those who strive and fight Hath He distinguished above those who sit (at home) by a special reward,- |

আয়াতঃ ৯৫) |
| 25 |
তাদের পশ্চাদ্ধাবনে শৈথিল্য করো না। যদি তোমরা আঘাত প্রাপ্ত, তবে তারাও তো তোমাদের মতই হয়েছে আঘাতপ্রাপ্ত এবং তোমরা আল্লাহর কাছে আশা কর, যা তারা আশা করে না। আল্লাহ মহাজ্ঞানী, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
And slacken not in following up the enemy: If ye are suffering hardships, they are suffering similar hardships; but ye have Hope from Allah, while they have none. And Allah is full of knowledge and wisdom. |
(আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১০৪) |
| 26 |
যে কেউ পাপ করে, সে নিজের পক্ষেই করে। আল্লাহ মহাজ্ঞানী, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
And if any one earns sin. he earns it against His own soul: for Allah is full of knowledge and wisdom. |
(আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১১১) |
| 27 |
অবশ্য যারা তওবা করে নিয়েছে, নিজেদের অবস্থার সংস্কার করেছে এবং আল্লাহর পথকে সুদৃঢ়ভাবে আঁকড়ে ধরে আল্লাহর ফরমাবরদার হয়েছে, তারা থাকবে মুসলমানদেরই সাথে। বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহ শীঘ্রই ঈমানদারগণকে মহাপূণ্য দান করবেন।
Except for those who repent, mend (their lives) hold fast to Allah, and purify their religion as in Allah's sight: if so they will be (numbered) with the believers. And soon will Allah grant to the believers a reward of immense value. |
(আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১৪৬) |
| 28 |
তোমরা যদি কল্যাণ কর প্রকাশ্যভাবে কিংবা গোপনে অথবা যদি তোমরা আপরাধ ক্ষমা করে দাও, তবে জেনো, আল্লাহ নিজেও ক্ষমাকারী, মহাশক্তিশালী।
Whether ye publish a good deed or conceal it or cover evil with pardon, verily Allah doth blot out (sins) and hath power (in the judgment of values). |
(আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১৪৯) |
| 29 |
আর তাদের কুফরী এবং মরিয়মের প্রতি মহা অপবাদ আরোপ করার কারণে।
That they rejected Faith; that they uttered against Mary a grave false charge; |
(আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১৫৬) |
| 30 |
বরং তাঁকে উঠিয়ে নিয়েছেন আল্লাহ তা’আলা নিজের কাছে। আর আল্লাহ হচ্ছেন মহাপরাক্রমশালী, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
Nay, Allah raised him up unto Himself; and Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise;- |
(আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১৫৮) |
| 31 |
কিন্তু যারা তাদের মধ্যে জ্ঞানপক্ক ও ঈমানদার, তারা তাও মান্য করে যা আপনার উপর অবতীর্ণ হয়েছে এবং যা অবতীর্ণ হয়েছে আপনার পূর্বে। আর যারা নামাযে অনুবর্তিতা পালনকারী, যারা যাকাত দানকারী এবং যারা আল্লাহ ও কেয়ামতে আস্থাশীল। বস্তুতঃ এমন লোকদেরকে আমি দান করবো মহাপুণ্য।
But those among them who are well-grounded in knowledge, and the believers, believe in what hath been revealed to thee and what was revealed before thee: And (especially) those who establish regular prayer and practise regular charity and believe in Allah and in the Last Day: To them shall We soon give a great reward. |
(আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১৬২) |
| 32 |
যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে, এবং সৎকর্ম সম্পাদন করে, আল্লাহ তা˦#2503;দরকে ক্ষমা ও মহান প্রতিদানের প্রতিশ্রুতি দিয়েছেন।
To those who believe and do deeds of righteousness hath Allah promised forgiveness and a great reward. |
(আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৯) |
| 33 |
হে মুমিনগণ, তোমাদের মধ্যে যে স্বীয় ধর্ম থেকে ফিরে যাবে, অচিরে আল্লাহ এমন সম্প্রদায় সৃষ্টি করবেন, যাদেরকে তিনি ভালবাসবেন এবং তারা তাঁকে ভালবাসবে। তারা মুসলমানদের প্রতি বিনয়-নম্র হবে এবং কাফেরদের প্রতি কঠোর হবে। তারা আল্লাহর পথে জেহাদ করবে এবং কোন তিরস্কারকারীর তিরস্কারে ভীত হবে না। এটি আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ-তিনি যাকে ইচ্ছা দান করেন। আল্লাহ প্রাচুর্য দানকারী, মহাজ্ঞানী।
O ye who believe! if any from among you turn back from his Faith, soon will Allah produce a people whom He will love as they will love Him,- lowly with the believers, mighty against the rejecters, fighting in the way of Allah, and never afraid of the reproaches of such as find fault. That is the grace of Allah, which He will bestow on whom He pleaseth. And Allah encompasseth all, and He knoweth all things. |
(আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৫৪) |
| 34 |
আল্লাহ সম্মানিত গৃহ কাবাকে মানুষের স্থীতিশীলতার কারণ করেছেন এবং সম্মানিত মাসসমূকে, হারাম কোরবানীর জন্তুকে ও যাদের গলায় আবরণ রয়েছে। এর কারণ এই যে, যাতে তোমরা জেনে নাও যে, আল্লাহ নভোমন্ডল ও ভুমন্ডলের সব কিছু জানেন এবং আল্লাহ সর্ব বিষয়ে মহাজ্ঞানী।
Allah made the Ka'ba, the Sacred House, an asylum of security for men, as also the Sacred Months, the animals for offerings, and the garlands that mark them: That ye may know that Allah hath knowledge of what is in the heavens and on earth and that Allah is well acquainted with all things. |

যেদিন আল্লাহ সব পয়গম্বরকে একত্রিত করবেন, অতঃপর বলবেন তোমরা কি উত্তর পেয়েছিলে? তাঁরা বলবেনঃ আমরা অবগত নই, আপনিই অদৃশ্য বিষয়ে মহাজ্ঞানী।
One day will Allah gather the messengers together, and ask: "What was the response ye received (from men to your teaching)?" They will say: "We have no knowledge: it is Thou Who knowest in full all that is hidden." |

যদি আপনি তাদেরকে শাস্তি দেন, তবে তারা আপনার দাস এবং যদি আপনি তাদেরকে ক্ষমা করেন, তবে আপনিই পরাক্রান্ত, মহাবিজ্ঞ।
"If Thou dost punish them, they are Thy servant: If Thou dost forgive them, Thou art the Exalted in power, the Wise." |

আল্লাহ বললেনঃ আজকের দিনে সত্যবাদীদের সত্যবাদিতা তাদের উপকারে আসবে। তাদের জন্যে উদ্যান রয়েছে, যার তলদেশে নির্ঝরিনী প্রবাহিত হবে; তারা তাতেই চিরকাল থাকবে। আল্লাহ তাদের প্রতি সন্তুষ্ট। এটিই মহান সফলতা।
Allah will say: "This is a day on which the truthful will profit from their truth: theirs are gardens, with rivers flowing beneath,- their eternal Home: Allah well-pleased with them, and they with Allah: That is the great salvation, (the fulfilment of all desires). |

যা কিছু রাত ও দিনে স্থিতি লাভ করে, তাঁরই। তিনিই শ্রোতা, মহাজ্ঞানী।
To him belongeth all that dwelleth (or lurketh) in the night and the day. For he is the one who heareth and knoweth all things." |

আপনি বলুন, আমি আমার প্রতিপালকের অবাধ্য হতে ভয় পাই কেননা, আমি একটি মহাদিবসের শাস্তিকে ভয় করি।
Say: "I would, if I disobeyed my Lord, indeed have fear of the penalty of a Mighty Day. |

That was the reasoning about Us, which We gave to Abraham (to use) against his people: We raise whom We will, degree after degree: for thy Lord is full of wisdom and knowledge. |

তিনি প্রভাত রশ্মির উন্মেষক। তিনি রাত্রিকে আরামদায়ক করেছেন এবং সূর্য ও চন্দ্রকে হিসেবের জন্য রেখেছেন। এটি পরাক্রান্ত, মহাজ্ঞানীর নির্ধারণ।
He it is that cleaveth the day-break (from the dark): He makes the night for rest and tranquillity, and the sun and moon for the reckoning (of time): Such is the judgment and ordering of (Him), the Exalted in Power, the Omniscient. |

আপনার প্রতিপালকের বাক্য পূর্ণ সত্য ও সুষম। তাঁর বাক্যের কোন পরিবর্তনকারী নেই। তিনিই শ্রবণকারী, মহাজ্ঞানী।
The word of thy Lord doth find its fulfilment in truth and in justice: None can change His words: for He is the one who heareth and knoweth all. |

যেদিন আল্লাহ সবাইকে একত্রিত করবেন, হে জিন সম্প্রদায়, তোমরা মানুষদের মধ্যে অনেককে অনুগামী করে নিয়েছ। তাদের মানব বন্ধুরা বলবেঃ হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা, আমরা পরস্পরে পরস্পরের মাধ্যমে ফল লাভ করেছি। আপনি আমাদের জন্যে যে সময় নির্ধারণ করেছিলেন, আমরা তাতে উপনীত হয়েছি। আল্লাহ বলবেনঃ আগুন হল তোমাদের বাসস্থান। তথায় তোমরা চিরকাল অবস্থান করবে; কিন্তু যখন চাইবেন আল্লাহ। নিশ্চয় আপনার পালনকর্তা প্রজ্ঞাময়, মহাজ্ঞানী।
One day will He gather them all together, (and say): "O ye assembly of Jinns! Much (toll) did ye take of men." Their friends amongst men will say: "Our Lord! we made profit from each other: but (alas!) we reached our term - which thou didst appoint for us." He will say: "The Fire be your dwelling-place: you will dwell therein for ever, except as Allah willeth." for thy Lord is full of wisdom and knowledge. |

তারা বলেঃ এসব চতুষ্পদ জন্তুর পেটে যা আছে, তা বিশেষ ভাবে আমাদের পুরুষদের জন্যে এবং আমাদের মহিলাদের জন্যে তা হারাম। যদি তা মৃত হয়, তবে তার প্রাপক হিসাবে সবাই সমান। অচিরেই তিনি তাদেরকে তাদের বর্ণনার শাস্তি দিবেন। তিনি প্রজ্ঞাময়, মহাজ্ঞানী।
They say: "What is in the wombs of such and such cattle is specially reserved (for food) for our men, and forbidden to our women; but if it is still-born, then all have share therein. For their (false) attribution (of superstitions to Allah), He will soon punish them: for He is full of wisdom and knowledge. |

নিশ্চয় আমি নূহকে তার সম্প্রদায়ের প্রতি পাঠিয়েছি। সে বললঃ হে আমার সম্প্রদায়, তোমরা আল্লাহর এবাদত কর। তিনি ব্যতীত তোমাদের কোন উপাস্য নেই। আমি তোমাদের জন্যে একটি মহাদিবসের শাস্তির আশঙ্কা করি।
We sent Noah to his people. He said: "O my people! worship Allah! ye have no other god but Him. I fear for you the punishment of a dreadful day! |

তিনি বললেন, তোমরাই নিক্ষেপ কর। যখন তারা নিক্ষেপ করল তখন লোকদের চোখগুলোকে বাধিয়ে দিল, ভীত-সন্ত্রস্ত করে তুলল এবং মহাযাদু প্রদর্শন করল।
Said Moses: "Throw ye (first)." So when they threw, they bewitched the eyes of the people, and struck terror into them: for they showed a great (feat of) magic. |

বলল, আমরা ঈমান আনছি মহা বিশ্বের পরওয়ারদেগারের প্রতি।
Saying: "We believe in the Lord of the Worlds,- |

আর যদি শয়তানের প্ররোচনা তোমাকে প্ররোচিত করে, তাহলে আল্লাহর শরণাপন্ন হও তিনিই শ্রবণকারী, মহাজ্ঞানী।
If a suggestion from Satan assail thy (mind), seek refuge with Allah; for He heareth and knoweth (all things). |

আর আল্লাহ তো শুধু সুসংবাদ দান করলেন যাতে তোমাদের মন আশ্বস্ত হতে পারে। আর সাহায্য আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে ছাড়া অন্য কারো পক্ষ থেকে হতে পারে না। নিঃসন্দেহে আল্লাহ মহাশক্তির অধিকারী হেকমত ওয়ালা।
Allah made it but a message of hope, and an assurance to your hearts: (in any case) there is no help except from Allah: and Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise. |

আর জেনে রাখ, তোমাদের ধন-সম্পদ ও সন্তান-সন্ততি অকল্যাণের সম্মুখীনকারী। বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহর নিকট রয়েছে মহা সওয়াব।
And know ye that your possessions and your progeny are but a trial; and that it is Allah with Whom lies your highest reward. |
(আল-আনফাল:
আয়াতঃ ২৮) |

হে ঈমানদারগণ তোমরা যদি আল্লাহকে ভয় করতে থাক, তবে তোমাদের মধ্যে ফয়সালা করে দেবেন এবং তোমাদের থেকে তোমাদের পাপকে সরিয়ে দেবেন এবং তোমাদের ক্ষমা করবেন। বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ অত্যন্ত মহান।
O ye who believe! if ye fear Allah, He will grant you a criterion (to judge between right and wrong), remove from you (all) evil (that may afflict) you, and forgive you: for Allah is the Lord of grace unbounded. |

যেমন, রীতি রয়েছে ফেরাউনের অনুসারীদের এবং তাদের পূর্বে যারা ছিল তাদের ব্যাপারে যে, এরা আল্লাহর নির্দেশের প্রতি অস্বীকৃতি জ্ঞাপন করেছে এবং সেজন্য আল্লাহ তা’আলা তাদের পাকড়াও করেছেন তাদেরই পাপের দরুন। নিঃসন্দেহে আল্লাহ মহাশক্তিশালী, কঠিন শাস্তিদাতা।
"(Deeds) after the manner of the people of Pharaoh and of those before them: They rejected the Signs of Allah, and Allah punished them for their crimes: for Allah is Strong, and Strict in punishment: |

তার কারণ এই যে, আল্লাহ কখনও পরিবর্তন করেন না, সে সব নেয়ামত, যা তিনি কোন জাতিকে দান করেছিলেন, যতক্ষণ না সে জাতি নিজেই পরিবর্তিত করে দেয় নিজের জন্য নির্ধারিত বিষয়। বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহ শ্রবণকারী, মহাজ্ঞানী।
"Because Allah will never change the grace which He hath bestowed on a people until they change what is in their (own) souls: and verily Allah is He Who heareth and knoweth (all things)." |
(আল-আনফাল:
আয়াতঃ ৫৩) |

আর মহান হজ্বের দিনে আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূলের পক্ষ থেকে লোকদের প্রতি ঘোষণা করে দেয়া হচ্ছে যে, আল্লাহ মুশরেকদের থেকে দায়িত্ব মুক্ত এবং তাঁর রসূলও। অবশ্য যদি তোমরা তওবা কর, তবে তা, তোমাদের জন্যেও কল্যাণকর, আর যদি মুখ ফেরাও, তবে জেনে রেখো, আল্লাহকে তোমরা পরাভূত করতে পারবে না। আর কাফেরদেরকে মর্মান্তিক শাস্তির সুসংবাদ দাও।
And an announcement from Allah and His Messenger, to the people (assembled) on the day of the Great Pilgrimage,- that Allah and His Messenger dissolve (treaty) obligations with the Pagans. If then, ye repent, it were best for you; but if ye turn away, know ye that ye cannot frustrate Allah. And proclaim a grievous penalty to those who reject Faith. |

তথায় তারা থাকবে চিরদিন। নিঃসন্দেহে আল্লাহর কাছে আছে মহাপুরস্কার।
They will dwell therein for ever. Verily in Allah's presence is a reward, the greatest (of all). |

তারা কি একথা জেনে নেয়নি যে, আল্লাহর সাথে এবং তাঁর রসূলের সাথে যে মোকাবেলা করে তার জন্যে নির্ধারিত রয়েছে দোযখ; তাতে সব সময় থাকবে। এটিই হল মহা-অপমান।
Know they not that for those who oppose Allah and His Messenger, is the Fire of Hell?- wherein they shall dwell. That is the supreme disgrace. |

আয়াতঃ ৬৩) |
| 57 |
আল্লাহ ঈমানদার পুরুষ ও ঈমানদার নারীদের প্রতিশ্রুতি দিয়েছেনে কানন-কুঞ্জের, যার তলদেশে প্রবাহিত হয় প্রস্রবণ। তারা সে গুলোরই মাঝে থাকবে। আর এসব কানন-কুঞ্জে থাকবে পরিচ্ছন্ন থাকার ঘর। বস্তুতঃ এ সমুদয়ের মাঝে সবচেয়ে বড় হল আল্লাহর সন্তুষ্টি। এটিই হল মহান কৃতকার্যতা।
Allah hath promised to Believers, men and women, gardens under which rivers flow, to dwell therein, and beautiful mansions in gardens of everlasting bliss. But the greatest bliss is the good pleasure of Allah: that is the supreme felicity. |

আর যারা সর্বপ্রথম হিজরতকারী ও আনছারদের মাঝে পুরাতন, এবং যারা তাদের অনুসরণ করেছে, আল্লাহ সে সমস্ত লোকদের প্রতি সন্তুষ্ট হয়েছেন এবং তারাও তাঁর প্রতি সন্তুষ্ট হয়েছে। আর তাদের জন্য প্রস্তুত রেখেছেন কানন-কুঞ্জ, যার তলদেশ দিয়ে প্রবাহিত প্রস্রবণসমূহ। সেখানে তারা থাকবে চিরকাল। এটাই হল মহান কৃতকার্যতা।
The vanguard (of Islam)- the first of those who forsook (their homes) and of those who gave them aid, and (also) those who follow them in (all) good deeds,- well-pleased is Allah with them, as are they with Him: for them hath He prepared gardens under which rivers flow, to dwell therein for ever: that is the supreme felicity. |

আর কিছু কিছু তোমার আশ-পাশের মুনাফেক এবং কিছু লোক মদীনাবাসী কঠোর মুনাফেকীতে অনঢ়। তুমি তাদের জান না; আমি তাদের জানি। আমি তাদেরকে আযাব দান করব দু’বার, তারপর তাদেরকে নিয়ে যাওয়া হবে মহান আযাবের দিকে।
Certain of the desert Arabs round about you are hypocrites, as well as (desert Arabs) among the Medina folk: they are obstinate in hypocrisy: thou knowest them not: We know them: twice shall We punish them: and in addition shall they be sent to a grievous penalty. |

আল্লাহ ক্রয় করে নিয়েছেন মুসলমানদের থেকে তাদের জান ও মাল এই মূল্যে যে, তাদের জন্য রয়েছে জান্নাত। তারা যুদ্ধ করে আল্লাহর রাহেঃ অতঃপর মারে ও মরে। তওরাত, ইঞ্জিল ও কোরআনে তিনি এ সত্য প্রতিশ্রুতিতে অবিচল। আর আল্লাহর চেয়ে প্রতিশ্রুতি রক্ষায় কে অধিক? সুতরাং তোমরা আনন্দিত হও সে লেন-দেনের উপর, যা তোমরা করছ তাঁর সাথে। আর এ হল মহান সাফল্য।
Allah hath purchased of the believers their persons and their goods; for theirs (in return) is the garden (of Paradise): they fight in His cause, and slay and are slain: a promise binding on Him in truth, through the Law, the Gospel, and the Qur'an: and who is more faithful to his covenant than Allah? then rejoice in the bargain which ye have concluded: that is the achievement supreme. |

এ সত্ত্বেও যদি তারা বিমুখ হয়ে থাকে, তবে বলে দাও, আল্লাহই আমার জন্য যথেষ্ট, তিনি ব্যতীত আর কারো বন্দেগী নেই। আমি তাঁরই ভরসা করি এবং তিনিই মহান আরশের অধিপতি।
But if they turn away, Say: "Allah sufficeth me: there is no god but He: On Him is my trust,- He the Lord of the Throne (of Glory) Supreme!" |

আয়াতঃ ১২৯) |
| 62 |
তিনিই সে মহান সত্তা, যিনি বানিয়েছেন সুর্যকে উজ্জল আলোকময়, আর চন্দ্রকে স্নিগ্ধ আলো বিতরণকারীরূপে এবং অতঃপর নির্ধারিত করেছেন এর জন্য মনযিল সমূহ, যাতে করে তোমরা চিনতে পার বছরগুলোর সংখ্যা ও হিসাব। আল্লাহ এই সমস্ত কিছু এমনিতেই সৃষ্টি করেননি, কিন্তু যথার্থতার সাথে। তিনি প্রকাশ করেন লক্ষণসমূহ সে সমস্ত লোকের জন্য যাদের জ্ঞান আছে।
It is He Who made the sun to be a shining glory and the moon to be a light (of beauty), and measured out stages for her; that ye might know the number of years and the count (of time). Nowise did Allah create this but in truth and righteousness. (Thus) doth He explain His Signs in detail, for those who understand. |

আর উপাসনা করে আল্লাহকে বাদ দিয়ে এমন বস্তুর, যা না তাদের কোন ক্ষতিসাধন করতে পারে, না লাভ এবং বলে, এরা তো আল্লাহর কাছে আমাদের সুপারিশকারী। তুমি বল, তোমরা কি আল্লাহকে এমন বিষয়ে অবহিত করছ, যে সম্পর্কে তিনি অবহিত নন আসমান ও যমীনের মাঝে ? তিনি পুতঃপবিত্র ও মহান সে সমস্ত থেকে যাকে তোমরা শরীক করছ।
They serve, besides Allah, things that hurt them not nor profit them, and they say: "These are our intercessors with Allah." Say: "Do ye indeed inform Allah of something He knows not, in the heavens or on earth?- Glory to Him! and far is He above the partners they ascribe (to Him)!" |

তাদের জন্য সুসংবাদ পার্থিব জীবনে ও পরকালীন জীবনে। আল্লাহর কথার কখনো হের-ফের হয় না। এটাই হল মহা সফলতা।
For them are glad tidings, in the life of the present and in the Hereafter; no change can there be in the words of Allah. This is indeed the supreme felicity. |

অতএব আজকের দিনে বাঁচিয়ে দিচ্ছি আমি তোমার দেহকে যাতে তোমার পশ্চাদবর্তীদের জন্য নিদর্শন হতে পারে। আর নিঃসন্দেহে বহু লোক আমার মহাশক্তির প্রতি লক্ষ্য করে না।
"This day shall We save thee in the body, that thou mayest be a sign to those who come after thee! but verily, many among mankind are heedless of Our Signs!" |

আলিফ, লা-ম, রা; এটি এমন এক কিতাব, যার আয়াত সমূহ সুপ্রতিষ্ঠিত অতঃপর সবিস্তারে বর্ণিত এক মহাজ্ঞানী, সর্বজ্ঞ সত্তার পক্ষ হতে।
A. L. R. (This is) a Book, with verses basic or fundamental (of established meaning), further explained in detail,- from One Who is Wise and Well-acquainted (with all things): |

আর তোমরা নিজেদের পালনকর্তা সমীপে ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা কর। অনন্তর তাঁরই প্রতি মনোনিবেশ কর। তাহলে তিনি তোমাদেরকে নির্দিষ্ট সময় পর্যন্ত উৎকৃষ্ট জীবনোপকরণ দান করবেন এবং অধিক আমলকারীকে বেশী করে দেবেন আর যদি তোমরা বিমুখ হতে থাক, তবে আমি তোমাদের উপর এক মহা দিবসের আযাবের আশঙ্কা করছি।
"(And to preach thus), 'Seek ye the forgiveness of your Lord, and turn to Him in repentance; that He may grant you enjoyment, good (and true), for a term appointed, and bestow His abounding grace on all who abound in merit! But if ye turn away, then I fear for you the penalty of a great day: |

আর দিনের দুই প্রান্তেই নামায ঠিক রাখবে, এবং রাতের প্রান্তভাগে পূর্ণ কাজ অবশ্যই পাপ দূর করে দেয়, যারা স্মরণ রাখে তাদের জন্য এটি এক মহা স্মারক।
And establish regular prayers at the two ends of the day and at the approaches of the night: For those things, that are good remove those that are evil: Be that the word of remembrance to those who remember (their Lord): |

কাজেই, তোমাদের পূর্ববতী জাতি গুলির মধ্যে এমন সৎকর্মশীল কেন রইল না, যারা পৃথিবীতে বিপর্যয় সৃষ্টি করতে বাধা দিত; তবে মুষ্টিমেয় লোক ছিল যাদেরকে আমি তাদের মধ্য হতে রক্ষা করেছি। আর পাপিষ্ঠরা তো ভোগ বিলাসে মত্ত ছিল যার সামগ্রী তাদেরকে যথেষ্ট দেয়া হয়েছিল। আসলে তারা ছিল মহা অপরাধী।
Why were there not, among the generations before you, persons possessed of balanced good sense, prohibiting (men) from mischief in the earth - except a few among them whom We saved (from harm)? But the wrong-doers pursued the enjoyment of the good things of life which were given them, and persisted in sin. |

আর আমি রসূলগণের সব বৃত্তান্তই তোমাকে বলছি, যদ্দ্বারা তোমার অন্তরকে মজবুত করছি। আর এভাবে তোমার নিকট মহাসত্য এবং ঈমানদারদের জন্য নসীহত ও স্বরণীয় বিষয়বস্তু এসেছে।
All that we relate to thee of the stories of the messengers,- with it We make firm thy heart: in them there cometh to thee the Truth, as well as an exhortation and a message of remembrance to those who believe. |

যখন সে তাদের চক্রান্ত শুনল, তখন তাদেরকে ডেকে পাঠাল এবং তাদের জন্যে একটি ভোজ সভার আয়োজন করল। সে তাদের প্রত্যেককে একটি ছুরি দিয়ে বললঃ ইউসুফ এদের সামনে চলে এস। যখন তারা তাকে দেখল, হতভম্ব হয়ে গেল এবং আপন হাত কেটে ফেলল। তারা বললঃ কখনই নয় এ ব্যক্তি মানব নয়। এ তো কোন মহান ফেরেশতা।
When she heard of their malicious talk, she sent for them and prepared a banquet for them: she gave each of them a knife: and she said (to Joseph), "Come out before them." When they saw him, they did extol him, and (in their amazement) cut their hands: they said, "Allah preserve us! no mortal is this! this is none other than a noble angel!" |

বাদশাহ মহিলাদেরকে বললেনঃ তোমাদের হাল-হাকিকত কি, যখন তোমরা ইউসুফকে আত্মসংবরণ থেকে ফুসলিয়েছিলে? তারা বললঃ আল্লাহ মহান, আমরা তার সম্পর্কে মন্দ কিছু জানি না। আযীয-পত্মি বললঃ এখন সত্য কথা প্রকাশ হয়ে গেছে। আমিই তাকে আত্মসংবরণ থেকে ফুসলিয়েছিলাম এবং সে সত্যবাদী।
(The king) said (to the ladies): "What was your affair when ye did seek to seduce Joseph from his (true) self?" The ladies said: "Allah preserve us! no evil know we against him!" Said the 'Aziz's wife: "Now is the truth manifest (to all): it was I who sought to seduce him from his (true) self: He is indeed of those who are (ever) true (and virtuous). |

তাঁর প্রশংসা পাঠ করে বজ্র এবং সব ফেরেশতা, সভয়ে। তিনি বজ্রপাত করেন, অতঃপর যাকে ইচছা, তাকে তা দ্বারা আঘাত করেন; তথাপি তারা আল্লাহ সম্পর্কে বিতন্ডা করে, অথচ তিনি মহাশক্তিশালী।
Nay, thunder repeateth His praises, and so do the angels, with awe: He flingeth the loud-voiced thunder-bolts, and therewith He striketh whomsoever He will.. yet these (are the men) who (dare to) dispute about Allah, with the strength of His power (supreme)! |

আমি আপনাকে সাতটি বার বার পঠিতব্য আয়াত এবং মহান কোরআন দিয়েছি।
And We have bestowed upon thee the Seven Oft-repeated (verses) and the Grand Qur'an. |

পরহেযগারদেরকে বলা হয়ঃ তোমাদের পালনকর্তা কি নাযিল করেছেন? তারা বলেঃ মহাকল্যাণ। যারা এ জগতে সৎকাজ করে, তাদের জন্যে কল্যাণ রয়েছে এবং পরকালের গৃহ আরও উত্তম। পরহেযগারদের গৃহ কি চমৎকার?
To the righteous (when) it is said, "What is it that your Lord has revealed?" they say, "All that is good." To those who do good, there is good in this world, and the Home of the Hereafter is even better and excellent indeed is the Home of the righteous,- |

যারা পরকাল বিশ্বাস করে না, তাদের উদাহরণ নিকৃষ্ট এবং আল্লাহর উদাহরণই মহান, তিনি পরাক্রমশালী, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
To those who believe not in the Hereafter, applies the similitude of evil: to Allah applies the highest similitude: for He is the Exalted in Power, full of Wisdom. |

এই কোরআন এমন পথ প্রদর্শন করে, যা সর্বাধিক সরল এবং সৎকর্ম পরায়ণ মুমিনদেরকে সুসংবাদ দেয় যে, তাদের জন্যে মহা পুরস্কার রয়েছে।
Verily this Qur'an doth guide to that which is most right (or stable), and giveth the Glad Tidings to the Believers who work deeds of righteousness, that they shall have a magnificent reward; |

অথবা তোমরা কি এ বিষয়ে নিশ্চিন্ত যে, তিনি তোমাদেরকে আরেকবার সমুদ্রে নিয়ে যাবেন না, অতঃপর তোমাদের জন্যে মহা ঝটিকা প্রেরণ করবেন না, অতঃপর অকৃতজ্ঞতার শাস্তিস্বরূপ তোমাদেরকে নিমজ্জত করবেন না, তখন তোমরা আমার বিরুদ্ধে এ বিষয়ে সাহায্যকারী কাউকে পাবে না।
Or do ye feel secure that He will not send you back a second time to sea and send against you a heavy gale to drown you because of your ingratitude, so that ye find no helper. Therein against Us? |

অথবা আপনার কোন সোনার তৈরী গৃহ হবে অথবা আপনি আকাশে আরোহণ করবেন এবং আমরা আপনার আকাশে আরোহণকে কখনও বিশ্বাস করবনা, যে পর্যন্ত না আপনি অবতীর্ণ করেন আমাদের প্রতি এক গ্রন্থ, যা আমরা পাঠ করব। বলুনঃ পবিত্র মহান আমার পালনকর্তা, একজন মানব, একজন রসূল বৈ আমি কে?
"Or thou have a house adorned with gold, or thou mount a ladder right into the skies. No, we shall not even believe in thy mounting until thou send down to us a book that we could read." Say: "Glory to my Lord! Am I aught but a man,- a messenger?" |

আয়াতঃ ৯৩) |

এবং বলেঃ আমাদের পালনকর্তা পবিত্র, মহান। নিঃসন্দেহে আমাদের পালকর্তার ওয়াদা অবশ্যই পূর্ণ হবে।
"And they say: 'Glory to our Lord! Truly has the promise of our Lord been fulfilled!'" |

আয়াতঃ ১০৮) |

অতঃপর তাদের মধ্যে দলগুলো পৃথক পৃথক পথ অবলম্বন করল। সুতরাং মহাদিবস আগমনকালে কাফেরদের জন্যে ধবংস।
But the sects differ among themselves: and woe to the unbelievers because of the (coming) Judgment of a Momentous Day! |

সত্যিকার অধীশ্বর আল্লাহ মহান। আপনার প্রতি আল্লাহর ওহী সম্পুর্ণ হওয়ার পূর্বে আপনি কোরআন গ্রহণের ব্যপারে তাড়াহুড়া করবেন না এবং বলুনঃ হে আমার পালনকর্তা, আমার জ্ঞান বৃদ্ধি করুন।
High above all is Allah, the King, the Truth! Be not in haste with the Qur'an before its revelation to thee is completed, but say, "O my Lord! advance me in knowledge." |
(ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ১১৪) |
| 83 |
এবং স্মরণ করুন নূহকে; যখন তিনি এর পূর্বে আহবান করেছিলেন। তখন আমি তাঁর দোয়া কবুল করেছিলাম, অতঃপর তাঁকে ও তাঁর পরিবারবর্গকে মহা সংকট থেকে উদ্ধার করেছিলাম।
(Remember) Noah, when he cried (to Us) aforetime: We listened to his (prayer) and delivered him and his family from great distress. |
(আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৭৬) |
| 84 |
মহা ত্রাস তাদেরকে চিন্তান্বিত করবে না এবং ফেরেশতারা তাদেরকে অভ্যর্থনা করবেঃ আজ তোমাদের দিন, যে দিনের ওয়াদা তোমাদেরকে দেয়া হয়েছিল।
The Great Terror will bring them no grief: but the angels will meet them (with mutual greetings): "This is your Day,- (the Day) that ye were promised." |
(আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ১০৩) |
| 85 |
এটা এ কারণেও যে, আল্লাহই সত্য; আর তাঁর পরিবর্তে তারা যাকে ডাকে, তা অসত্য এবং আল্লাহই সবার উচ্চে, মহান।
That is because Allah - He is the Reality; and those besides Him whom they invoke,- they are but vain Falsehood: verily Allah is He, Most High, Most Great. |

তারা আল্লাহর যথাযোগ্য মর্যাদা বোঝেনি। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ শক্তিধর, মহাপরাক্রমশীল।
No just estimate have they made of Allah: for Allah is He Who is strong and able to Carry out His Will. |

বলুনঃ সপ্তাকাশ ও মহা-আরশের মালিক কে?
Say: "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and the Lord of the Throne (of Glory) Supreme?" |

তোমরা যখন এ কথা শুনলে তখন কেন বললে না যে, এ বিষয়ে কথা বলা আমাদের উচিত নয়। আল্লাহ তো পবিত্র, মহান। এটা তো এক গুরুতর অপবাদ।
And why did ye not, when ye heard it, say? - "It is not right of us to speak of this: Glory to Allah! this is a most serious slander!" |

আমি তোমাদের জন্যে মহাদিবসের শাস্তি আশংকা করি।
"Truly I fear for you the Penalty of a Great Day." |
(আশ-শো'আরা:
আয়াতঃ ১৩৫) |

তোমরা একে কোন কষ্ট দিও না। তাহলে তোমাদেরকে মহাদিবসের আযাব পাকড়াও করবে।
"Touch her not with harm, lest the Penalty of a Great Day seize you." |

আয়াতঃ ১৫৬) |

অতঃপর তারা তাঁকে মিথ্যাবাদী বলে দিল। ফলে তাদেরকে মেঘাচ্ছন্ন দিবসের আযাব পাকড়াও করল। নিশ্চয় সেটা ছিল এক মহাদিবসের আযাব।
But they rejected him. Then the punishment of a day of overshadowing gloom seized them, and that was the Penalty of a Great Day. |

আল্লাহ ব্যতীত কোন উপাস্য নেই; তিনি মহা আরশের মালিক।
"Allah!- there is no god but He!- Lord of the Throne Supreme!" |

আয়াতঃ ২৬) |

আমি নূহ (আঃ) কে তাঁর সম্প্রদায়ের কাছে প্রেরণ করেছিলাম। তিনি তাদের মধ্যে পঞ্চাশ কম এক হাজার বছর অবস্থান করেছিলেন। অতঃপর তাদেরকে মহাপ্লাবণ গ্রাস করেছিল। তারা ছিল পাপী।
We (once) sent Noah to his people, and he tarried among them a thousand years less fifty: but the Deluge overwhelmed them while they (persisted in) sin. |
(আল আনকাবুত:
আয়াতঃ ১৪) |

আল্লাহই তোমাদের সৃষ্টি করেছেন, অতঃপর রিযিক দিয়েছেন, এরপর তোমাদের মৃত্যু দেবেন, এরপর তোমাদের জীবিত করবেন। তোমাদের শরীকদের মধ্যে এমন কেউ আছে কি, যে এসব কাজের মধ্যে কোন একটিও করতে পারবে? তারা যাকে শরীক করে, আল্লাহ তা থেকে পবিত্র ও মহান।
It is Allah Who has created you: further, He has provided for your sustenance; then He will cause you to die; and again He will give you life. Are there any of your (false) "Partners" who can do any single one of these things? Glory to Him! and high is He above the partners they attribute (to him)! |

আয়াতঃ ৪০) |

যখন লোকমান উপদেশচ্ছলে তার পুত্রকে বললঃ হে বৎস, আল্লাহর সাথে শরীক করো না। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহর সাথে শরীক করা মহা অন্যায়।
Behold, Luqman said to his son by way of instruction: "O my son! join not in worship (others) with Allah: for false worship is indeed the highest wrong-doing." |
(লোকমান:
আয়াতঃ ১৩) |
| 96 |
এটাই প্রমাণ যে, আল্লাহ-ই সত্য এবং আল্লাহ ব্যতীত তারা যাদের পূজা করে সব মিথ্যা। আল্লাহ সর্বোচ্চ, মহান।
That is because Allah is the (only) Reality, and because whatever else they invoke besides Him is Falsehood; and because Allah,- He is the Most High, Most Great. |

পক্ষান্তরে যদি তোমরা আল্লাহ, তাঁর রসূল ও পরকাল কামনা কর, তবে তোমাদের সৎকর্মপরায়ণদের জন্য আল্লাহ মহা পুরস্কার প্রস্তুত করে রেখেছেন।
But if ye seek Allah and His Messenger, and the Home of the Hereafter, verily Allah has prepared for the well-doers amongst you a great reward. |
(আল আহযাব:
আয়াতঃ ২৯) |

নিশ্চয় মুসলমান পুরুষ, মুসলমান নারী, ঈমানদার পুরুষ, ঈমানদার নারী, অনুগত পুরুষ, অনুগত নারী, সত্যবাদী পুরুষ, সত্যবাদী নারী, ধৈর্য্যশীল পুরুষ, ধৈর্য্যশীল নারী, বিনীত পুরুষ, বিনীত নারী, দানশীল পুরুষ, দানশীল নারী, রোযা পালণকারী পুরুষ, রোযা পালনকারী নারী, যৌনাঙ্গ হেফাযতকারী পুরুষ, , যৌনাঙ্গ হেফাযতকারী নারী, আল্লাহর অধিক যিকরকারী পুরুষ ও যিকরকারী নারী-তাদের জন্য আল্লাহ প্রস্তুত রেখেছেন ক্ষমা ও মহাপুরষ্কার।
For Muslim men and women,- for believing men and women, for devout men and women, for true men and women, for men and women who are patient and constant, for men and women who humble themselves, for men and women who give in Charity, for men and women who fast (and deny themselves), for men and women who guard their chastity, and for men and women who engage much in Allah's praise,- for them has Allah prepared forgiveness and great reward. |
(আল আহযাব:
আয়াতঃ ৩৫) |
| 99 |
হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা! তাদেরকে দ্বিগুণ শাস্তি দিন এবং তাদেরকে মহা অভিসম্পাত করুন।
"Our Lord! Give them double Penalty and curse them with a very great Curse!" |
(আল আহযাব:
আয়াতঃ ৬৮) |

তিনি তোমাদের আমল-আচরণ সংশোধন করবেন এবং তোমাদের পাপসমূহ ক্ষমা করবেন। যে কেউ আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূলের আনুগত্য করে, সে অবশ্যই মহা সাফল্য অর্জন করবে।
That He may make your conduct whole and sound and forgive you your sins: He that obeys Allah and His Messenger, has already attained the highest achievement. |
(আল আহযাব:
আয়াতঃ ৭১) |

যার জন্যে অনুমতি দেয়া হয়, তার জন্যে ব্যতীত আল্লাহর কাছে কারও সুপারিশ ফলপ্রসূ হবে না। যখন তাদের মন থেকে ভয়-ভীতি দূর হয়ে যাবে, তখন তারা পরস্পরে বলবে, তোমাদের পালনকর্তা কি বললেন? তারা বলবে, তিনি সত্য বলেছেন এবং তিনিই সবার উপরে মহান।
"No intercession can avail in His Presence, except for those for whom He has granted permission. So far (is this the case) that, when terror is removed from their hearts (at the Day of Judgment, then) will they say, 'what is it that your Lord commanded?' they will say, 'That which is true and just; and He is the Most High Most Great'." |

আয়াতঃ ২৩) |
| 102 |
যারা কুফর করে তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে কঠোর আযাব। আর যারা ঈমান আনে ও সৎকর্ম করে, তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে ক্ষমা ও মহা পুরস্কার।
For those who reject Allah, is a terrible Penalty: but for those who believe and work righteous deeds, is Forgiveness, and a magnificent Reward. |
(ফাতির:
আয়াতঃ ৭) |
| 103 |
অতঃপর আমি কিতাবের অধিকারী করেছি তাদেরকে যাদেরকে আমি আমার বান্দাদের মধ্য থেকে মনোনীত করেছি। তাদের কেউ কেউ নিজের প্রতি অত্যাচারী, কেউ মধ্যপন্থা অবলম্বনকারী এবং তাদের মধ্যে কেউ কেউ আল্লাহর নির্দেশক্রমে কল্যাণের পথে এগিয়ে গেছে। এটাই মহা অনুগ্রহ।
Then We have given the Book for inheritance to such of Our Servants as We have chosen: but there are among them some who wrong their own souls; some who follow a middle course; and some who are, by Allah's leave, foremost in good deeds; that is the highest Grace. |
(ফাতির:
আয়াতঃ ৩২) |

বস্তুতঃ এ ছিল এক মহানাদ। অতঃপর সঙ্গে সঙ্গে সবাই স্তদ্ধ হয়ে গেল।
It was no more than a single mighty Blast, and behold! they were (like ashes) quenched and silent. |
(ইয়াসীন:
আয়াতঃ ২৯) |

এটা তো হবে কেবল এক মহানাদ। সে মুহুর্তেই তাদের সবাইকে আমার সামনে উপস্থিত করা হবে।
It will be no more than a single Blast, when lo! they will all be brought up before Us! |
(ইয়াসীন:
আয়াতঃ ৫৩) |

যিনি নভোমন্ডল ও ভূমন্ডল সৃষ্টি করেছেন, তিনিই কি তাদের অনুরূপ সৃষ্টি করতে সক্ষম নন? হ্যাঁ তিনি মহাস্রষ্টা, সর্বজ্ঞ।
"Is not He Who created the heavens and the earth able to create the like thereof?" - Yea, indeed! for He is the Creator Supreme, of skill and knowledge (infinite)! |
(ইয়াসীন:
আয়াতঃ ৮১) |

নিশ্চয় এই মহা সাফল্য।
Verily this is the supreme achievement! |
(আস-সাফফাত:
আয়াতঃ ৬০) |

আমি তাকে ও তার পরিবারবর্গকে এক মহাসংকট থেকে রক্ষা করেছিলাম।
And We delivered him and his people from the Great Calamity, |
(আস-সাফফাত:
আয়াতঃ ৭৬) |

তারপর তারা তার বিরুদ্ধে মহা ষড়যন্ত্র আঁটতে চাইল, কিন্তু আমি তাদেরকেই পরাভূত করে দিলাম।
(This failing), they then sought a stratagem against him, but We made them the ones most humiliated! |
(আস-সাফফাত:

আমি তার পরিবর্তে দিলাম যবেহ করার জন্যে এক মহান জন্তু।
And We ransomed him with a momentous sacrifice: |

তাদেরকে ও তাদের সম্প্রদায়কে উদ্ধার করেছি মহা সংকট থেকে।
And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; |

কেবল একটি মহানাদের অপেক্ষা করছে, যাতে দম ফেলার অবকাশ থাকবে না।
These (today) only wait for a single mighty Blast, which (when it comes) will brook no delay. |

সোলায়মান বললঃ হে আমার পালনকর্তা, আমাকে মাফ করুন এবং আমাকে এমন সাম্রাজ্য দান করুন যা আমার পরে আর কেউ পেতে পারবে না। নিশ্চয় আপনি মহাদাতা।
He said, "O my Lord! Forgive me, and grant me a kingdom which, (it may be), suits not another after me: for Thou art the Grantor of Bounties (without measure). |
(ছোয়াদ:
আয়াতঃ ৩৫) |

বলুন, এটি এক মহাসংবাদ,
Say: "That is a Message Supreme (above all),- |
(ছোয়াদ:
আয়াতঃ ৬৭) |
| 115 |
বলুন, আমি আমার পালনকর্তার অবাধ্য হলে এক মহাদিবসের শাস্তির ভয় করি।
Say: "I would, if I disobeyed my Lord, indeed have fear of the Penalty of a Mighty Day." |
(আল-যুমার:
আয়াতঃ ১৩) |

এবং আপনি তাদেরকে অমঙ্গল থেকে রক্ষা করুন। আপনি যাকে সেদিন অমঙ্গল থেকে রক্ষা করবেন, তার প্রতি অনুগ্রহই করবেন। এটাই মহাসাফল্য।
"And preserve them from (all) ills; and any whom Thou dost preserve from ills that Day,- on them wilt Thou have bestowed Mercy indeed: and that will be truly (for them) the highest Achievement". |
(আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ৯) |

তোমাদের এ বিপদ এ কারণে যে, যখন এক আল্লাহকে ডাকা হত, তখন তোমরা কাফের হয়ে যেতে যখন তার সাথে শরীককে ডাকা হত তখন তোমরা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করতে। এখন আদেশ তাই, যা আল্লাহ করবেন, যিনি সর্বোচ্চ, মহান।
(The answer will be:) "This is because, when Allah was invoked as the Only (object of worship), ye did reject Faith, but when partners were joined to Him, ye believed! the Command is with Allah, Most High, Most Great!" |
(আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ১২) |

নভোমন্ডলে যা কিছু আছে এবং ভূমন্ডলে যা কিছু আছে, সমস্তই তাঁর। তিনি সমুন্নত, মহান।
To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and on earth: and He is Most High, Most Great. |
(আশ-শুরা:
আয়াতঃ ৪) |

আপনার পালনকর্তার কৃপায় এটাই মহা সাফল্য।
As a Bounty from thy Lord! that will be the supreme achievement! |
(আদ দোখান:
আয়াতঃ ৫৭) |

তাদের সামনে রয়েছে জাহান্নাম। তারা যা উপার্জন করেছে, তা তাদের কোন কাজে আসবে না, তারা আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে যাদেরকে বন্ধুরূপে গ্রহণ করেছে তারাও নয়। তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে মহাশাস্তি।
In front of them is Hell: and of no profit to them is anything they may have earned, nor any protectors they may have taken to themselves besides Allah: for them is a tremendous Penalty. |
(আল জাসিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ১০) |

তারা বলে, আমাদের পার্থিব জীবনই তো শেষ; আমরা মরি ও বাঁচি মহাকালই আমাদেরকে ধ্বংস করে। তাদের কাছে এ ব্যাপারে কোন জ্ঞান নেই। তারা কেবল অনুমান করে কথা বলে।
And they say: "What is there but our life in this world? We shall die and we live, and nothing but time can destroy us." But of that they have no knowledge: they merely conjecture: |

আয়াতঃ ২৪) |

আ’দ সম্প্রদায়ের ভাইয়ের কথা স্মরণ করুন, তার পূর্বে ও পরে অনেক সতর্ককারী গত হয়েছিল সে তার সম্প্রদায়কে বালুকাময় উচ্চ উপত্যকায় এ মর্মে সতর্ক করেছিল যে, তোমরা আল্লাহ ব্যতীত কারও এবাদত করো না। আমি তোমাদের জন্যে এক মহাদিবসের শাস্তির আশংকা করি।
Mention (Hud) one of 'Ad's (own) brethren: Behold, he warned his people about the winding Sand-tracts: but there have been warners before him and after him: "Worship ye none other than Allah: Truly I fear for you the Penalty of a Mighty Day." |
(আল আহক্বাফ:
আয়াতঃ ২১) |

ঈমান এজন্যে বেড়ে যায়, যাতে তিনি ঈমানদার পুরুষ ও ঈমানদার নারীদেরকে জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করান, যার তলদেশে নদী প্রবাহিত। সেথায় তারা চিরকাল বসবাস করবে এবং যাতে তিনি তাদের পাপ মোচন করেন। এটাই আল্লাহর কাছে মহাসাফল্য।
That He may admit the men and women who believe, to Gardens beneath which rivers flow, to dwell therein for aye, and remove their ills from them;- and that is, in the sight of Allah, the highest achievement (for man),- |

যারা আপনার কাছে আনুগত্যের শপথ করে, তারা তো আল্লাহর কাছে আনুগত্যের শপথ করে। আল্লাহর হাত তাদের হাতের উপর রয়েছে। অতএব, যে শপথ ভঙ্গ করে; অতি অবশ্যই সে তা নিজের ক্ষতির জন্যেই করে এবং যে আল্লাহর সাথে কৃত অঙ্গীকার পূর্ণ করে; আল্লাহ সত্ত্বরই তাকে মহাপুরস্কার দান করবেন।
Verily those who plight their fealty to thee do no less than plight their fealty to Allah: the Hand of Allah is over their hands: then any one who violates his oath, does so to the harm of his own soul, and any one who fulfils what he has covenanted with Allah,- Allah will soon grant him a great Reward. |

মুহাম্মদ আল্লাহর রসূল এবং তাঁর সহচরগণ কাফেরদের প্রতি কঠোর, নিজেদের মধ্যে পরস্পর সহানুভূতিশীল। আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ ও সন্তুষ্টি কামনায় আপনি তাদেরকে রুকু ও সেজদারত দেখবেন। তাদের মুখমন্ডলে রয়েছে সেজদার চিহ্ন । তওরাতে তাদের অবস্থা এরূপ এবং ইঞ্জিলে তাদের অবস্থা যেমন একটি চারা গাছ যা থেকে নির্গত হয় কিশলয়, অতঃপর তা শক্ত ও মজবুত হয় এবং কান্ডের উপর দাঁড়ায় দৃঢ়ভাবে-চাষীকে আনন্দে অভিভুত করে-যাতে আল্লাহ তাদের দ্বারা কাফেরদের অন্তর্জালা সৃষ্টি করেন। তাদের মধ্যে যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে এবং সৎকর্ম করে, আল্লাহ তাদেরকে ক্ষমা ও মহাপুরস্কারের ওয়াদা দিয়েছেন।
Muhammad is the messenger of Allah; and those who are with him are strong against Unbelievers, (but) compassionate amongst each other. Thou wilt see them bow and prostrate themselves (in prayer), seeking Grace from Allah and (His) Good Pleasure. On their faces are their marks, (being) the traces of their prostration. This is their similitude in the Taurat; and their similitude in the Gospel is: like a seed which sends forth its blade, then makes it strong; it then becomes thick, and it stands on its own stem, (filling) the sowers with wonder and delight. As a result, it fills the Unbelievers with rage at them. Allah has promised those among them who believe and do righteous deeds forgiveness, and a great Reward. |

যারা আল্লাহর রসূলের সামনে নিজেদের কন্ঠস্বর নীচু করে, আল্লাহ তাদের অন্তরকে শিষ্টাচারের জন্যে শোধিত করেছেন। তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে ক্ষমা ও মহাপুরস্কার।
Those that lower their voices in the presence of Allah's Messenger,- their hearts has Allah tested for piety: for them is Forgiveness and a great Reward. |

নিশ্চয় সে তার পালনকর্তার মহান নিদর্শনাবলী অবলোকন করেছে।
For truly did he see, of the Signs of his Lord, the Greatest! |
(আন-নাজম:

একমাত্র আপনার মহিমায় ও মহানুভব পালনকর্তার সত্তা ছাড়া।
But will abide (for ever) the Face of thy Lord,- full of Majesty, Bounty and Honour. |
(আর রহমান:
আয়াতঃ ২৭) |

কত পূণ্যময় আপনার পালনকর্তার নাম, যিনি মহিমাময় ও মহানুভব।
Blessed be the name of thy Lord, full of Majesty, Bounty and Honour. |
(আর রহমান:
আয়াতঃ ৭৮) |

অতএব, আপনি আপনার মহান পালনকর্তার নামে পবিত্রতা ঘোষণা করুন।
Then celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme! |

নিশ্চয় এটা এক মহা শপথ-যদি তোমরা জানতে।
And that is indeed a mighty adjuration if ye but knew,- |

অতএব, আপনি আপনার মহান পালনকর্তার নামে পবিত্রতা ঘোষণা করুন।
So celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme. |

তোমরা আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূলের প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন কর এবং তিনি তোমাদেরকে যার উত্তরাধিকারী করেছেন, তা থেকে ব্যয় কর। অতএব, তোমাদের মধ্যে যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে ও ব্যয় করে, তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে মহাপুরস্কার।
Believe in Allah and His messenger, and spend (in charity) out of the (substance) whereof He has made you heirs. For, those of you who believe and spend (in charity),- for them is a great Reward. |

আয়াতঃ ৭) |

যেদিন আপনি দেখবেন ঈমানদার পুরুষ ও ঈমানদার নারীদেরকে, তাদের সম্মুখ ভাগে ও ডানপার্শ্বে তাদের জ্যোতি ছুটোছুটি করবে বলা হবেঃ আজ তোমাদের জন্যে সুসংবাদ জান্নাতের, যার তলদেশে নদী প্রবাহিত, তাতে তারা চিরকাল থাকবে। এটাই মহাসাফল্য।
One Day shalt thou see the believing men and the believing women- how their Light runs forward before them and by their right hands: (their greeting will be): "Good News for you this Day! Gardens beneath which flow rivers! to dwell therein for aye! This is indeed the highest Achievement!" |

তোমরা অগ্রে ধাবিত হও তোমাদের পালনকর্তার ক্ষমা ও সেই জান্নাতের দিকে, যা আকাশ ও পৃথিবীর মত প্রশস্ত। এটা প্রস্তুত করা হয়েছে আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূলগণের প্রতি বিশ্বাসস্থাপনকারীদের জন্যে। এটা আল্লাহর কৃপা, তিনি যাকে ইচ্ছা, এটা দান করেন। আল্লাহ মহান কৃপার অধিকারী।
Be ye foremost (in seeking) Forgiveness from your Lord, and a Garden (of Bliss), the width whereof is as the width of heaven and earth, prepared for those who believe in Allah and His messengers: that is the Grace of Allah, which He bestows on whom he pleases: and Allah is the Lord of Grace abounding. |

যাতে কিতাবধারীরা জানে যে, আল্লাহর সামান্য অনুগ্রহের উপর ও তাদের কোন ক্ষমতা নেই, দয়া আল্লাহরই হাতে; তিনি যাকে ইচ্ছা, তা দান করেন। আল্লাহ মহা অনুগ্রহশীল।
That the People of the Book may know that they have no power whatever over the Grace of Allah, that (His) Grace is (entirely) in His Hand, to bestow it on whomsoever He wills. For Allah is the Lord of Grace abounding. |

আয়াতঃ ২৯) |

নভোমন্ডল ও ভূমন্ডলে যা কিছু আছে, সবই আল্লাহর পবিত্রতা বর্ণনা করে। তিনি পরাক্রমশালী মহাজ্ঞানী।
Whatever is in the heavens and on earth, let it declare the Praises and Glory of Allah: for He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise. |

তিনি তোমাদের পাপরাশি ক্ষমা করবেন এবং এমন জান্নাতে দাখিল করবেন, যার পাদদেশে নদী প্রবাহিত এবং বসবাসের জান্নাতে উত্তম বাসগৃহে। এটা মহাসাফল্য।
He will forgive you your sins, and admit you to Gardens beneath which Rivers flow, and to beautiful mansions in Gardens of Eternity: that is indeed the Supreme Achievement. |

আয়াতঃ ১২) |

এটা আল্লাহর কৃপা, যাকে ইচ্ছা তিনি তা দান করেন। আল্লাহ মহাকৃপাশীল।
Such is the Bounty of Allah, which He bestows on whom He will: and Allah is the Lord of the highest bounty. |

সেদিন অর্থাৎ, সমাবেশের দিন আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে সমবেত করবেন। এ দিন হার-জিতের দিন। যে ব্যক্তি আল্লাহর প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে এবং সৎকর্ম সম্পাদন করে, আল্লাহ তার পাপসমূহ মোচন করবেন এবং তাকে জান্নাতে দাখিল করবেন। যার তলদেশে নির্ঝরিনীসমূহ প্রবাহিত হবে, তারা তথায় চিরকাল বসবাস করবে। এটাই মহাসাফল্য।
The Day that He assembles you (all) for a Day of Assembly,- that will be a Day of mutual loss and gain (among you), and those who believe in Allah and work righteousness,- He will remove from them their ills, and He will admit them to Gardens beneath which Rivers flow, to dwell therein for ever: that will be the Supreme Achievement. |

তোমাদের ধন-সম্পদ ও সন্তান-সন্ততি তো কেবল পরীক্ষাস্বরূপ। আর আল্লাহর কাছে রয়েছে মহাপুরস্কার।
Your riches and your children may be but a trial: but in the Presence of Allah, is the highest, Reward. |
(আত-তাগাবুন:
আয়াতঃ ১৫) |

এটা আল্লাহর নির্দেশ, যা তিনি তোমাদের প্রতি নাযিল করেছেন। যে আল্লাহকে ভয় করে, আল্লাহ তার পাপ মোচন করেন এবং তাকে মহাপুরস্কার দেন।
That is the Command of Allah, which He has sent down to you: and if any one fears Allah, He will remove his ills, from him, and will enlarge his reward. |

আয়াতঃ ৫) |

তারা বলবেঃ হ্যাঁ আমাদের কাছে সতর্ককারী আগমন করেছিল, অতঃপর আমরা মিথ্যারোপ করেছিলাম এবং বলেছিলামঃ আল্লাহ তা’আলা কোন কিছু নাজিল করেননি। তোমরা মহাবিভ্রান্তিতে পড়ে রয়েছ।
They will say: "Yes indeed; a Warner did come to us, but we rejected him and said, 'Allah never sent down any (Message): ye are nothing but an egregious delusion!'" |

আয়াতঃ ৯) |

নিশ্চয় যারা তাদের পালনকর্তাকে না দেখে ভয় করে, তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে ক্ষমা ও মহাপুরস্কার।
As for those who fear their Lord unseen, for them is Forgiveness and a great Reward. |
(আল মুলক:
আয়াতঃ ১২) |

আপনি অবশ্যই মহান চরিত্রের অধিকারী।
And thou (standest) on an exalted standard of character. |
(আল কলম:
আয়াতঃ ৪) |
| 146 |
আদ ও সামুদ গোত্র মহাপ্রলয়কে মিথ্যা বলেছিল।
The Thamud and the 'Ad People (branded) as false the Stunning Calamity! |
(আল হাক্বক্বাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৪) |
| 147 |
নিশ্চয় সে মহান আল্লাহতে বিশ্বাসী ছিল না।
"This was he that would not believe in Allah Most High. |
(আল হাক্বক্বাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৩৩) |
| 148 |
অতএব, আপনি আপনার মহান পালনকর্তার নামের পবিত্রতা বর্ননা করুন।
So glorify the name of thy Lord Most High. |
(আল হাক্বক্বাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৫২) |

এবং আরও বিশ্বাস করি যে, আমাদের পালনকর্তার মহান মর্যাদা সবার উর্ধ্বে। তিনি কোন পত্নী গ্রহণ করেননি এবং তাঁর কোন সন্তান নেই।
'And Exalted is the Majesty of our Lord: He has taken neither a wife nor a son. |

মহা সংবাদ সম্পর্কে,
Concerning the Great News, |

অতএব, এটা তো কেবল এক মহা-নাদ,
But verily, it will be but a single (Compelling) Cry, |

আয়াতঃ ১৩) |

অতঃপর সে তাকে মহা-নিদর্শন দেখাল।
Then did (Moses) show him the Great Sign. |
(আন-নযিআ'ত:

অতঃপর যখন মহাসংকট এসে যাবে।
Therefore, when there comes the great, overwhelming (Event),- |

হে মানুষ, কিসে তোমাকে তোমার মহামহিম পালনকর্তা সম্পর্কে বিভ্রান্ত করল?
O man! What has seduced thee from thy Lord Most Beneficent?- |

সেই মহাদিবসে,
On a Mighty Day, |

আয়াতঃ ৫) |

যারা ঈমান আনে ও সৎকর্ম করে তাদের জন্যে আছে জান্নাত, যার তলদেশে প্রবাহিত হয় নির্ঝরিণীসমূহ। এটাই মহাসাফল্য।
For those who believe and do righteous deeds, will be Gardens; beneath which rivers flow: That is the great Salvation, (the fulfilment of all desires), |

Lord of the Throne of Glory, |

বরং এটা মহান কোরআন,
Nay, this is a Glorious Qur'an, |

আপনি আপনার মহান পালনকর্তার নামের পবিত্রতা বর্ণনা করুন
Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, |

সে মহা-অগ্নিতে প্রবেশ করবে।
Who will enter the Great Fire, |
(আল আ'লা:
আয়াতঃ ১২) |

আল্লাহ তাকে মহা আযাব দেবেন।
Allah will punish him with a mighty Punishment, |
(আল গাশিয়াহ:
আয়াতঃ ২৪) |

তার মহান পালনকর্তার সন্তুষ্টি অন্বেষণ ব্যতীত।
But only the desire to seek for the Countenance of their Lord Most High; |

পাঠ করুন, আপনার পালনকর্তা মহা দয়ালু,
Proclaim! And thy Lord is Most Bountiful,- |
