যারা আল্লাহর রাস্তায় স্বীয় ধন-সম্পদ ব্যয় করে আল্লাহর সন্তুষ্টি অর্জনের লক্ষ্যে এবং নিজের মনকে সুদৃঢ় করার জন্যে তাদের উদাহরণ টিলায় অবস্থিত বাগানের মত, যাতে প্রবল বৃষ্টিপাত হয়; অতঃপর দ্বিগুণ ফসল দান করে। যদি এমন প্রবল বৃষ্টিপাত নাও হয়, তবে হাল্কা বর্ষণই যথেষ্ট। আল্লাহ তোমাদের কাজকর্ম যথার্থই প্রত্যক্ষ করেন।
And the likeness of those who spend their substance, seeking to please Allah and to strengthen their souls, is as a garden, high and fertile: heavy rain falls on it but makes it yield a double increase of harvest, and if it receives not Heavy rain, light moisture sufficeth it. Allah seeth well whatever ye do. |

আপনি নিজেকে তাদের সংসর্গে আবদ্ধ রাখুন যারা সকাল ও সন্ধ্যায় তাদের পালনকর্তাকে তাঁর সন্তুষ্টি অর্জনের উদ্দেশ্যে আহবান করে এবং আপনি পার্থিব জীবনের সৌন্দর্য কামনা করে তাদের থেকে নিজের দৃষ্টি ফিরিয়ে নেবেন না। যার মনকে আমার স্মরণ থেকে গাফেল করে দিয়েছি, যে, নিজের প্রবৃত্তির অনুসরণ করে এবং যার কার্য কলাপ হচ্ছে সীমা অতিক্রম করা, আপনি তার অনুগত্য করবেন না।
And keep thy soul content with those who call on their Lord morning and evening, seeking His Face; and let not thine eyes pass beyond them, seeking the pomp and glitter of this Life; no obey any whose heart We have permitted to neglect the remembrance of Us, one who follows his own desires, whose case has gone beyond all bounds. |
