যারা দুঃখ-কষ্ট ভোগের পর দেশত্যাগী হয়েছে অতঃপর জেহাদ করেছে, নিশ্চয় আপনার পালনকর্তা এসব বিষয়ের পরে অবশ্যই ক্ষমাশীল, পরম দয়ালু।
But verily thy Lord,- to those who leave their homes after trials and persecutions,- and who thereafter strive and fight for the faith and patiently persevere,- Thy Lord, after all this is oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. |

হে নবী, আপনার পত্নীগণকে বলুন, তোমরা যদি পার্থিব জীবন ও তার বিলাসিতা কামনা কর, তবে আস, আমি তোমাদের ভোগের ব্যবস্থা করে দেই এবং উত্তম পন্থায় তোমাদের বিদায় নেই।
O Prophet! Say to thy Consorts: "If it be that ye desire the life of this World, and its glitter,- then come! I will provide for your enjoyment and set you free in a handsome manner. |

হে আমার কওম, পার্থিব এ জীবন তো কেবল উপভোগের বস্তু, আর পরকাল হচ্ছে স্থায়ী বসবাসের গৃহ।
"O my people! This life of the present is nothing but (temporary) convenience: It is the Hereafter that is the Home that will last. |

Woe to thee, (O men!), yea, woe! |
