আপনি বলুনঃ আমি তোমাদেরকে বলি না যে, আমার কাছে আল্লাহর ভান্ডার রয়েছে। তাছাড়া আমি অদৃশ্য বিষয় অবগতও নই। আমি এমন বলি না যে, আমি ফেরেশতা। আমি তো শুধু ঐ ওহীর অনুসরণ করি, যা আমার কাছে আসে। আপনি বলে দিনঃ অন্ধ ও চক্ষুমান কি সমান হতে পারে? তোমরা কি চিন্তা কর না ?
Say: "I tell you not that with me are the treasures of Allah, nor do I know what is hidden, nor do I tell you I am an angel. I but follow what is revealed to me." Say: "can the blind be held equal to the seeing?" Will ye then consider not? |

আর সম্ভবতঃ ঐসব আহকাম যা ওহীর মাধ্যমে তোমার নিকট পাঠানো হয়, তার কিছু অংশ বর্জন করবে? এবং এতে মন ছোট করে বসবে? তাদের এ কথায় যে, তাঁর উপর কোন ধন-ভান্ডার কেন অবতীর্ণ হয়নি? অথবা তাঁর সাথে কোন ফেরেশতা আসেনি কেন? তুমিতো শুধু সতর্ককারী মাত্র; আর সব কিছুরই দায়িত্বভার তো আল্লাহই নিয়েছেন।
Perchance thou mayest (feel the inclination) to give up a part of what is revealed unto thee, and thy heart feeleth straitened lest they say, "Why is not a treasure sent down unto him, or why does not an angel come down with him?" But thou art there only to warn! It is Allah that arrangeth all affairs! |

আর আমি তোমাদেরকে বলি না যে, আমার কাছে আল্লাহর ভান্ডার রয়েছে এবং একথাও বলি না যে, আমি গায়বী খবরও জানি; একথাও বলি না যে, আমি একজন ফেরেশতা; আর তোমাদের দৃষ্টিতে যারা লাঞ্ছিত আল্লাহ তাদের কোন কল্যাণ দান করবেন না। তাদের মনের কথা আল্লাহ ভাল করেই জানেন। সুতরাং এমন কথা বললে আমি অন্যায় কারী হব।
"I tell you not that with me are the treasures of Allah, nor do I know what is hidden, nor claim I to be an angel. Nor yet do I say, of those whom your eyes do despise that Allah will not grant them (all) that is good: Allah knoweth best what is in their souls: I should, if I did, indeed be a wrong-doer." |

ইউসুফ বললঃ আমাকে দেশের ধন-ভান্ডারে নিযুক্ত করুন। আমি বিশ্বস্ত রক্ষক ও অধিক জ্ঞানবান।
(Joseph) said: "Set me over the store-houses of the land: I will indeed guard them, as one that knows (their importance)." |

আমার কাছে প্রত্যেক বস্তুর ভান্ডার রয়েছে। আমি নির্দিষ্ট পরিমানেই তা অবতরণ করি।
And there is not a thing but its (sources and) treasures (inexhaustible) are with Us; but We only send down thereof in due and ascertainable measures. |

আমি বৃষ্টিগর্ভ বায়ু পরিচালনা করি অতঃপর আকাশ থেকে পানি বর্ষণ করি, এরপর তোমাদেরকে তা পান করাই। বস্তুতঃ তোমাদের কাছে এর ভান্ডার নেই।
And We send the fecundating winds, then cause the rain to descend from the sky, therewith providing you with water (in abundance), though ye are not the guardians of its stores. |

বলুনঃ যদি আমার পালনকর্তার রহমতের ভান্ডার তোমাদের হাতে থাকত, তবে ব্যয়িত হয়ে যাওয়ার আশঙ্কায় অবশ্যই তা ধরে রাখতে। মানুষ তো অতিশয় কৃপণ।
Say: "If ye had control of the Treasures of the Mercy of my Lord, behold, ye would keep them back, for fear of spending them: for man is (every) niggardly!" |

অথবা তিনি ধন-ভান্ডার প্রাপ্ত হলেন না কেন, অথবা তাঁর একটি বাগান হল না কেন, যা থেকে তিনি আহার করতেন? জালেমরা বলে, তোমরা তো একজন জাদুগ্রস্ত ব্যক্তিরই অনুসরণ করছ।
"Or (Why) has not a treasure been bestowed on him, or why has he (not) a garden for enjoyment?" The wicked say: "Ye follow none other than a man bewitched." |

এবং ধন-ভান্ডার ও মনোরম স্থানসমূহ থেকে।
Treasures, and every kind of honourable position; |

কারুন ছিল মূসার সম্প্রদায়ভুক্ত। অতঃপর সে তাদের প্রতি দুষ্টামি করতে আরম্ভ করল। আমি তাকে এত ধন-ভান্ডার দান করেছিলাম যার চাবি বহন করা কয়েকজন শক্তিশালী লোকের পক্ষে কষ্টসাধ্য ছিল। যখন তার সম্প্রদায় তাকে বলল, দম্ভ করো না, আল্লাহ দাম্ভিকদেরকে ভালবাসেন না।
Qarun was doubtless, of the people of Moses; but he acted insolently towards them: such were the treasures We had bestowed on him that their very keys would have been a burden to a body of strong men, behold, his people said to him: "Exult not, for Allah loveth not those who exult (in riches). |

না কি তাদের কাছে আপনার পরাক্রান্ত দয়াবান পালনকর্তার রহমতের কোন ভান্ডার রয়েছে?
Or have they the treasures of the mercy of thy Lord,- the Exalted in Power, the Grantor of Bounties without measure? |

তাদের কাছে কি আপনার পালনকর্তার ভান্ডার রয়েছে, না তারাই সবকিছুর তত্ত্বাবধায়ক?
Or are the Treasures of thy Lord with them, or are they the managers (of affairs)? |
(আত্ব তূর:
আয়াতঃ ৩৭) |

তারাই বলেঃ আল্লাহর রাসূলের সাহচর্যে যারা আছে তাদের জন্যে ব্যয় করো না। পরিণামে তারা আপনা-আপনি সরে যাবে। ভূ ও নভোমন্ডলের ধন-ভান্ডার আল্লাহরই কিন্তু মুনাফিকরা তা বোঝে না।
They are the ones who say, "Spend nothing on those who are with Allah's Messenger, to the end that they may disperse (and quit Medina)." But to Allah belong the treasures of the heavens and the earth; but the Hypocrites understand not. |
