অবশ্য তারা যদি তওবা করে, নামায কায়েম করে আর যাকাত আদায় করে, তবে তারা তোমাদের দ্বীনী ভাই। আর আমি বিধানসমূহে জ্ঞানী লোকদের জন্যে সর্বস্তরে র্বণনা করে থাকি।
But (even so), if they repent, establish regular prayers, and practise regular charity,- they are your brethren in Faith: (thus) do We explain the Signs in detail, for those who understand. |

তারা বলল, তবে কি তুমিই ইউসুফ! বললেনঃ আমিই ইউসুফ এবং এ হল আমার সহোদর ভাই। আল্লাহ আমাদের প্রতি অনুগ্রহ করেছেন। নিশ্চয় যে তাকওয়া অবলম্বন করে এবং সবর করে, আল্লাহ এহেন সৎকর্মশীলদের প্রতিদান বিনষ্ট করেন না।
They said: "Art thou indeed Joseph?" He said, "I am Joseph, and this is my brother: Allah has indeed been gracious to us (all): behold, he that is righteous and patient,- never will Allah suffer the reward to be lost, of those who do right." |

নিশ্চয় অপব্যয়কারীরা শয়তানের ভাই। শয়তান স্বীয় পালনকর্তার প্রতি অতিশয় অকৃতজ্ঞ।
Verily spendthrifts are brothers of the Evil Ones; and the Evil One is to his Lord (himself) ungrateful. |

মুমিনরা তো পরস্পর ভাই-ভাই। অতএব, তোমরা তোমাদের দুই ভাইয়ের মধ্যে মীমাংসা করবে এবং আল্লাহকে ভয় করবে-যাতে তোমরা অনুগ্রহপ্রাপ্ত হও।
The Believers are but a single Brotherhood: So make peace and reconciliation between your two (contending) brothers; and fear Allah, that ye may receive Mercy. |
