হাঁ, যে ব্যক্তি নিজেকে আল্লাহর উদ্দেশ্যে সমর্পন করেছে এবং সে সৎকর্মশীলও বটে তার জন্য তার পালনকর্তার কাছে পুরস্কার বয়েছে। তাদের ভয় নেই এবং তারা চিন্তিতও হবে না।
Nay,-whoever submits His whole self to Allah and is a doer of good,- He will get his reward with his Lord; on such shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve. |

বনী-ইসরাঈলদেরকে তাদের নবী আরো বললেন, তালূতের নেতৃত্বের চিহ্ন হলো এই যে, তোমাদের কাছে একটা সিন্দুক আসবে তোমাদের পালকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে তোমাদের মনের সন্তুষ্টির নিমিত্তে। আর তাতে থাকবে মূসা, হারুন এবং তাঁদের সন্তানবর্গের পরিত্যক্ত কিছু সামগ্রী। সিন্দুকটিকে বয়ে আনবে ফেরেশতারা। তোমরা যদি ঈমানদার হয়ে থাক, তাহলে এতে তোমাদের জন্য নিশ্চিতই পরিপূর্ণ নিদর্শন রয়েছে।
And (further) their Prophet said to them: "A Sign of his authority is that there shall come to you the Ark of the covenant, with (an assurance) therein of security from your Lord, and the relics left by the family of Moses and the family of Aaron, carried by angels. In this is a symbol for you if ye indeed have faith." |

তিনিই বৃষ্টির পূর্বে সুসংবাদবাহী বায়ু পাঠিয়ে দেন। এমনকি যখন বায়ুরাশি পানিপূর্ন মেঘমালা বয়ে আনে, তখন আমি এ মেঘমালাকে একটি মৃত শহরের দিকে হঁ্যাকিয়ে দেই। অতঃপর এ মেঘ থেকে বৃষ্টি ধারা বর্ষণ করি। অতঃপর পানি দ্বারা সব রকমের ফল উৎপন্ন করি। এমনি ভাবে মৃতদেরকে বের করব-যাতে তোমরা চিন্তা কর।
It is He Who sendeth the winds like heralds of glad tidings, going before His mercy: when they have carried the heavy-laden clouds, We drive them to a land that is dead, make rain to descend thereon, and produce every kind of harvest therewith: thus shall We raise up the dead: perchance ye may remember. |

বস্তুতঃ যারা মিথ্যা প্রতিপন্ন করেছে আমার আয়াতসমূহকে, আমি তাদেরকে ক্রমান্বয়ে পাকড়াও করব এমন জায়গা থেকে, যার সম্পর্কে তাদের ধারণাও হবে না।
Those who reject Our signs, We shall gradually visit with punishment, in ways they perceive not; |

তিনিই তোমাদের ভ্রমন করান স্থলে ও সাগরে। এমনকি যখন তোমরা নৌকাসমূহে আরোহণ করলে আর তা লোকজনকে অনুকূল হাওয়ায় বয়ে নিয়ে চলল এবং তাতে তারা আনন্দিত হল, নৌকাগুলোর উপর এল তীব্র বাতাস, আর সর্বদিক থেকে সেগুলোর উপর ঢেউ আসতে লাগল এবং তারা জানতে পারল যে, তারা অবরুদ্ধ হয়ে পড়েছে, তখন ডাকতে লাগল আল্লাহকে তাঁর এবাদতে নিঃস্বার্থ হয়ে যদি তুমি আমাদেরকে এ বিপদ থেকে উদ্ধার করে তোল, তাহলে নিঃসন্দেহে আমরা কৃতজ্ঞ থাকব।
He it is Who enableth you to traverse through land and sea; so that ye even board ships;- they sail with them with a favourable wind, and they rejoice thereat; then comes a stormy wind and the waves come to them from all sides, and they think they are being overwhelmed: they cry unto Allah, sincerely offering (their) duty unto Him saying, "If thou dost deliver us from this, we shall truly show our gratitude!" |

যারা স্বীয় পালনকর্তার সত্তার অবিশ্বাসী তাদের অবস্থা এই যে, তাদের কর্মসমূহ ছাইভস্মের মত যার উপর দিয়ে প্রবল বাতাস বয়ে যায় ধূলিঝড়ের দিন। তাদের উপার্জনের কোন অংশই তাদের করতলগত হবে না। এটাই দুরবর্তী পথভ্রষ্টতা।
The parable of those who reject their Lord is that their works are as ashes, on which the wind blows furiously on a tempestuous day: No power have they over aught that they have earned: that is the straying far, far (from the goal). |

অতঃপর বালিকাদ্বয়ের একজন লজ্জাজড়িত পদক্ষেপে তাঁর কাছে আগমন করল। বলল, আমার পিতা আপনাকে ডাকছেন, যাতে আপনি যে আমাদেরকে পানি পান করিয়েছেন, তার বিনিময়ে পুরস্কার প্রদান করেন। অতঃপর মূসা যখন তাঁর কাছে গেলেন এবং সমস্ত বৃত্তান্ত বর্ণনা করলেন, তখন তিনি বললেন, ভয় করো না, তুমি জালেম সম্প্রদায়ের কবল থেকে রক্ষা পেয়েছ।
Afterwards one of the (damsels) came (back) to him, walking bashfully. She said: "My father invites thee that he may reward thee for having watered (our flocks) for us." So when he came to him and narrated the story, he said: "Fear thou not: (well) hast thou escaped from unjust people." |

বালিকাদ্বয়ের একজন বলল পিতাঃ তাকে চাকর নিযুক্ত করুন। কেননা, আপনার চাকর হিসেবে সে-ই উত্তম হবে, যে শক্তিশালী ও বিশ্বস্ত।
Said one of the (damsels): "O my (dear) father! engage him on wages: truly the best of men for thee to employ is the (man) who is strong and trusty".... |

পিতা মূসাকে বললেন, আমি আমার এই কন্যাদ্বয়ের একজনকে তোমার সাথে বিবাহে দিতে চাই এই শর্তে যে, তুমি আট বছর আমার চাকুরী করবে, যদি তুমি দশ বছর পূর্ণ কর, তা তোমার ইচ্ছা। আমি তোমাকে কষ্ট দিতে চাই না। আল্লাহ চাহেন তো তুমি আমাকে সৎকর্মপরায়ণ পাবে।
He said: "I intend to wed one of these my daughters to thee, on condition that thou serve me for eight years; but if thou complete ten years, it will be (grace) from thee. But I intend not to place thee under a difficulty: thou wilt find me, indeed, if Allah wills, one of the righteous." |
