“বিতাড়িত শয়তান হতে আল্লাহর নিকট আশ্রয় প্রার্থনা করছি। পরম করুণাময় ও অসীম দয়ালু আল্লাহর নামে আরম্ভ করছি।”

নং আয়াত সূরা
1 অতঃপর তোমরাই পরস্পর খুনাখুনি করছ এবং তোমাদেরই একদলকে তাদের দেশ থেকে বহিস্কার করছ। তাদের বিরুদ্ধে পাপ ও অন্যায়ের মাধ্যমে আক্রমণ করছ। আর যদি তারাই কারও বন্দী হয়ে তোমাদের কাছে আসে, তবে বিনিময় নিয়ে তাদের মুক্ত করছ। অথচ তাদের বহিস্কার করাও তোমাদের জন্য অবৈধ। তবে কি তোমরা গ্রন্থের কিয়দংশ বিশ্বাস কর এবং কিয়দংশ অবিশ্বাস কর? যারা এরূপ করে পার্থিব জীবনে দূগর্তি ছাড়া তাদের আর কোনই পথ নেই। কিয়ামতের দিন তাদের কঠোরতম শাস্তির দিকে পৌঁছে দেয়া হবে। আল্লাহ তোমাদের কাজ-কর্ম সম্পর্কে বে-খবর নন।
After this it is ye, the same people, who slay among yourselves, and banish a party of you from their homes; assist (Their enemies) against them, in guilt and rancour; and if they come to you as captives, ye ransom them, though it was not lawful for you to banish them. Then is it only a part of the Book that ye believe in, and do ye reject the rest? but what is the reward for those among you who behave like this but disgrace in this life?- and on the Day of Judgment they shall be consigned to the most grievous penalty. For Allah is not unmindful of what ye do.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ৮৫)
2 যারা সুদ খায়, তারা কিয়ামতে দন্ডায়মান হবে, যেভাবে দন্ডায়মান হয় ঐ ব্যক্তি, যাকে শয়তান আসর করে মোহাবিষ্ট করে দেয়। তাদের এ অবস্থার কারণ এই যে, তারা বলেছেঃ ক্রয়-বিক্রয় ও তো সুদ নেয়ারই মত! অথচ আল্লা’হ তা’আলা ক্রয়-বিক্রয় বৈধ করেছেন এবং সুদ হারাম করেছেন। অতঃপর যার কাছে তার পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে উপদেশ এসেছে এবং সে বিরত হয়েছে, পূর্বে যা হয়ে গেছে, তা তার। তার ব্যাপার আল্লাহর উপর নির্ভরশীল। আর যারা পুনরায় সুদ নেয়, তারাই দোযখে যাবে। তারা সেখানে চিরকাল অবস্থান করবে।
Those who devour usury will not stand except as stand one whom the Evil one by his touch Hath driven to madness. That is because they say: "Trade is like usury," but Allah hath permitted trade and forbidden usury. Those who after receiving direction from their Lord, desist, shall be pardoned for the past; their case is for Allah (to judge); but those who repeat (The offence) are companions of the Fire: They will abide therein (for ever).		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ২৭৫)
3 আর মুহাম্মদ একজন রসূল বৈ তো নয়! তাঁর পূর্বেও বহু রসূল অতিবাহিত হয়ে গেছেন। তাহলে কি তিনি যদি মৃত্যুবরণ করেন অথবা নিহত হন, তবে তোমরা পশ্চাদপসরণ করবে? বস্তুতঃ কেউ যদি পশ্চাদপসরণ করে, তবে তাতে আল্লাহর কিছুই ক্ষতি-বৃদ্ধি হবে না। আর যারা কৃতজ্ঞ, আল্লাহ তাদের সওয়াব দান করবেন।
Muhammad is no more than a messenger: many Were the messenger that passed away before him. If he died or were slain, will ye then Turn back on your heels? If any did turn back on his heels, not the least harm will he do to Allah; but Allah (on the other hand) will swiftly reward those who (serve Him) with gratitude.		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১৪৪)
4 হে ঈমানদারগণ! তোমরা একে অপরের সম্পদ অন্যায়ভাবে গ্রাস করো না। কেবলমাত্র তোমাদের পরস্পরের সম্মতিক্রমে যে ব্যবসা করা হয় তা বৈধ। আর তোমরা নিজেদের কাউকে হত্যা করো না। নিঃসন্দেহে আল্লাহ তা’আলা তোমাদের প্রতি দয়ালু।
O ye who believe! Eat not up your property among yourselves in vanities: But let there be amongst you Traffic and trade by mutual good-will: Nor kill (or destroy) yourselves: for verily Allah hath been to you Most Merciful!		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ২৯)
5 পুরুষেরা নারীদের উপর কৃর্তত্বশীল এ জন্য যে, আল্লাহ একের উপর অন্যের বৈশিষ্ট্য দান করেছেন এবং এ জন্য যে, তারা তাদের অর্থ ব্যয় করে। সে মতে নেককার স্ত্রীলোকগণ হয় অনুগতা এবং আল্লাহ যা হেফাযতযোগ্য করে দিয়েছেন লোক চক্ষুর অন্তরালেও তার হেফাযত করে। আর যাদের মধ্যে অবাধ্যতার আশঙ্কা কর তাদের সদুপদেশ দাও, তাদের শয্যা ত্যাগ কর এবং প্রহার কর। যদি তাতে তারা বাধ্য হয়ে যায়, তবে আর তাদের জন্য অন্য কোন পথ অনুসন্ধান করো না। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সবার উপর শ্রেষ্ঠ।
Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because Allah has given the one more (strength) than the other, and because they support them from their means. Therefore the righteous women are devoutly obedient, and guard in (the husband's) absence what Allah would have them guard. As to those women on whose part ye fear disloyalty and ill-conduct, admonish them (first), (Next), refuse to share their beds, (And last) beat them (lightly); but if they return to obedience, seek not against them Means (of annoyance): For Allah is Most High, great (above you all).		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ৩৪)
6 এরা কি লক্ষ্য করে না কোরআনের প্রতি? পক্ষান্তরে এটা যদি আল্লাহ ব্যতীত অপর কারও পক্ষ থেকে হত, তবে এতো অবশ্যই বহু বৈপরিত্য দেখতে পেত।
Do they not consider the Qur'an (with care)? Had it been from other Than Allah, they would surely have found therein Much discrepancy.		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ৮২)
7 সে তাদেরকে প্রতিশ্রুতি দেয় এবং তাদেরকে আশ্বাস দেয়। শয়তান তাদেরকে যে প্রতিশ্রুতি দেয়, তা সব প্রতারণা বৈ নয়।
Satan makes them promises, and creates in them false desires; but satan's promises are nothing but deception.		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১২০)
8 হে মুমিনগণ, এই যে মদ, জুয়া, প্রতিমা এবং ভাগ্য-নির্ধারক শরসমূহ এসব শয়তানের অপবিত্র কার্য বৈ তো নয়। অতএব, এগুলো থেকে বেঁচে থাক-যাতে তোমরা কল্যাণপ্রাপ্ত হও।
O ye who believe! Intoxicants and gambling, (dedication of) stones, and (divination by) arrows, are an abomination,- of Satan's handwork: eschew such (abomination), that ye may prosper.		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৯০)
9 তোমরা আল্লাহর অনুগত হও, রসূলের অনুগত হও এবং আত্মরক্ষা কর। কিন্তু যদি তোমরা বিমুখ হও, তবে জেনে রাখ, আমার রসূলের দায়িত্ব প্রকাশ্য প্রচার বৈধ নয়।
Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger, and beware (of evil): if ye do turn back, know ye that it is Our Messenger's duty to proclaim (the message) in the clearest manner.		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৯২)
10 যদি আমি কাগজে লিখিত কোন বিষয় তাদের প্রতি নাযিল করতাম, অতঃপর তারা তা সহস্তে স্পর্শ করত, তবুও অবিশ্বাসীরা একথাই বলত যে, এটা প্রকাশ্য জাদু বৈ কিছু নয়।
If We had sent unto thee a written (message) on parchment, so that they could touch it with their hands, the Unbelievers would have been sure to say: "This is nothing but obvious magic!"		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ৭)
11 তাদের কেউ কেউ আপনার দিকে কান লাগিয়ে থাকে। আমি তাদের অন্তরের উপর আবরণ রেখে দিয়েছি যাতে একে না বুঝে এবং তাদের কানে বোঝা ভরে দিয়েছি। যদি তারা সব নিদর্শন অবলোকন করে তবুও সেগুলো বিশ্বাস করবে না। এমনকি, তারা যখন আপনার কাছে ঝগড়া করতে আসে, তখন কাফেররা বলেঃ এটি পুর্ববর্তীদের কিচ্ছাকাহিনী বৈ তো নয়।
Of them there are some who (pretend to) listen to thee; but We have thrown veils on their hearts, So they understand it not, and deafness in their ears; if they saw every one of the signs, not they will believe in them; in so much that when they come to thee, they (but) dispute with thee; the Unbelievers say: "These are nothing but tales of the ancients."		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ২৫)
12 আপনি বলে দিনঃ যা কিছু বিধান ওহীর মাধ্যমে আমার কাছে পৌঁছেছে, তন্মধ্যে আমি কোন হারাম খাদ্য পাই না কোন ভক্ষণকারীর জন্যে, যা সে ভক্ষণ করে; কিন্তু মৃত অথবা প্রবাহিত রক্ত অথবা শুকরের মাংস এটা অপবিত্র অথবা অবৈধ; যবেহ করা জন্তু যা আল্লাহ ছাড়া অন্যের নামে উৎসর্গ করা হয়। অতপর যে ক্ষুধায় কাতর হয়ে পড়ে এমতাবস্থায় যে অবাধ্যতা করে না এবং সীমালঙ্গন করে না, নিশ্চয় আপনার পালনকর্তা ক্ষমাশীল দয়ালু।
Say: "I find not in the message received by me by inspiration any (meat) forbidden to be eaten by one who wishes to eat it, unless it be dead meat, or blood poured forth, or the flesh of swine,- for it is an abomination - or, what is impious, (meat) on which a name has been invoked, other than Allah's". But (even so), if a person is forced by necessity, without wilful disobedience, nor transgressing due limits,- thy Lord is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ১৪৫)
13 এবং সে যখন তাদেরকে তাদের রসদ প্রস্তুত করে দিল, তখন সে বললঃ তোমাদের বৈমাত্রেয় ভাইকে আমার কাছে নিয়ে এসো। তোমরা কি দেখ না যে, আমি পুরা মাপ দেই এবং মেহমানদেরকে উত্তম সমাদার করি?
And when he had furnished them forth with provisions (suitable) for them, he said: "Bring unto me a brother ye have, of the same father as yourselves, (but a different mother): see ye not that I pay out full measure, and that I do provide the best hospitality?		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৫৯)
14 আপনি এর জন্যে তাদের কাছে কোন বিনিময় চান না। এটা তো সারা বিশ্বের জন্যে উপদেশ বৈ নয়।
And no reward dost thou ask of them for this: it is no less than a message for all creatures.		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ১০৪)
15 আল্লাহ যার জন্যে ইচ্ছা রুযী প্রশস্ত করেন এবং সংকুচিত করেন। তারা পার্থিব জীবনের প্রতি মুগ্ধ। পার্থিবজীবন পরকালের সামনে অতি সামান্য সম্পদ বৈ নয়।
Allah doth enlarge, or grant by (strict) measure, the sustenance (which He giveth) to whomso He pleaseth. (The wordly) rejoice in the life of this world: But the life of this world is but little comfort in the Hereafter.		 (রা'দ:
আয়াতঃ ২৬)
16 অথবা আপনার কোন সোনার তৈরী গৃহ হবে অথবা আপনি আকাশে আরোহণ করবেন এবং আমরা আপনার আকাশে আরোহণকে কখনও বিশ্বাস করবনা, যে পর্যন্ত না আপনি অবতীর্ণ করেন আমাদের প্রতি এক গ্রন্থ, যা আমরা পাঠ করব। বলুনঃ পবিত্র মহান আমার পালনকর্তা, একজন মানব, একজন রসূল বৈ আমি কে?
"Or thou have a house adorned with gold, or thou mount a ladder right into the skies. No, we shall not even believe in thy mounting until thou send down to us a book that we could read." Say: "Glory to my Lord! Am I aught but a man,- a messenger?"		 (বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ৯৩)
17 তখন তার সম্প্রদায়ের কাফের-প্রধানরা বলেছিলঃ এ তো তোমাদের মতই একজন মানুষ বৈ নয়। সে তোমাদের উপর নেতৃত্ব করতে চায়। আল্লাহ ইচ্ছা করলে ফেরেশতাই নাযিল করতেন। আমরা আমাদের পূর্বপুরুষদের মধ্যে এরূপ কথা শুনিনি।
The chiefs of the Unbelievers among his people said: "He is no more than a man like yourselves: his wish is to assert his superiority over you: if Allah had wished (to send messengers), He could have sent down angels; never did we hear such a thing (as he says), among our ancestors of old."		 (আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ২৪)
18 সে তো এক উম্মাদ ব্যক্তি বৈ নয়। সুতরাং কিছুকাল তার ব্যাপারে অপেক্ষা কর।
(And some said): "He is only a man possessed: wait (and have patience) with him for a time."		 (আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ২৫)
19 তাঁর সম্প্রদায়ের প্রধানরা যারা কাফের ছিল, পরকালের সাক্ষাতকে মিথ্যা বলত এবং যাদেরকে আমি পার্থিব জীবনে সুখ-স্বাচ্ছন্দ্য দিয়েছিলাম, তারা বললঃ এতো আমাদের মতই একজন মানুষ বৈ নয়। তোমরা যা খাও, সেও তাই খায় এবং তোমরা যা পান কর, সেও তাই পান করে।
And the chiefs of his people, who disbelieved and denied the Meeting in the Hereafter, and on whom We had bestowed the good things of this life, said: "He is no more than a man like yourselves: he eats of that of which ye eat, and drinks of what ye drink.		 (আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ৩৩)
20 সে তো এমন ব্যক্তি বৈ নয়, যে আল্লাহ সম্বন্ধে মিথ্যা উদ্ভাবন করেছে এবং আমরা তাকে বিশ্বাস করি না।
"He is only a man who invents a lie against Allah, but we are not the ones to believe in him!"		 (আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ৩৮)
21 অতীতে আমাদেরকে এবং আমাদের পিতৃপুরুষদেরকে এই ওয়াদাই দেয়া হয়েছে। এটা তো পূর্ববতীদের কল্প-কথা বৈ কিছুই নয়।
"Such things have been promised to us and to our fathers before! they are nothing but tales of the ancients!"		 (আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ৮৩)
22 কাফেররা বলে, এটা মিথ্যা বৈ নয়, যা তিনি উদ্ভাবন করেছেন এবং অন্য লোকেরা তাঁকে সাহায্য করেছে। অবশ্যই তারা অবিচার ও মিথ্যার আশ্রয় নিয়েছে।
But the misbelievers say: "Naught is this but a lie which he has forged, and others have helped him at it." In truth it is they who have put forward an iniquity and a falsehood.		 (আল-ফুরকান:
আয়াতঃ ৪)
23 তিনিই পানি থেকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন মানবকে, অতঃপর তাকে রক্তগত, বংশ ও বৈবাহিক সম্পর্কশীল করেছেন। তোমার পালনকর্তা সবকিছু করতে সক্ষম।
It is He Who has created man from water: then has He established relationships of lineage and marriage: for thy Lord has power (over all things).		 (আল-ফুরকান:
আয়াতঃ ৫৪)
24 এবং যারা আল্লাহর সাথে অন্য উপাস্যের এবাদত করে না, আল্লাহ যার হত্যা অবৈধ করেছেন, সঙ্গত কারণ ব্যতীত তাকে হত্যা করে না এবং ব্যভিচার করে না। যারা একাজ করে, তারা শাস্তির সম্মুখীন হবে।
Those who invoke not, with Allah, any other god, nor slay such life as Allah has made sacred except for just cause, nor commit fornication; - and any that does this (not only) meets punishment.		 (আল-ফুরকান:
আয়াতঃ ৬৮)
25 এসব কথাবার্তা পূর্ববর্তী লোকদের অভ্যাস বৈ নয়।
"This is no other than a customary device of the ancients,		 (আশ-শো'আরা:
আয়াতঃ ১৩৭)
26 তুমি তো আমাদের মতই একজন মানুষ বৈ নও। সুতরাং যদি তুমি সত্যবাদী হও, তবে কোন নিদর্শন উপস্থিত কর।
"Thou art no more than a mortal like us: then bring us a Sign, if thou tellest the truth!"		 (আশ-শো'আরা:
আয়াতঃ ১৫৪)
27 তুমি আমাদের মত মানুষ বৈ তো নও। আমাদের ধারণা-তুমি মিথ্যাবাদীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত।
"Thou art no more than a mortal like us, and indeed we think thou art a liar!		 (আশ-শো'আরা:
আয়াতঃ ১৮৬)
28 এই ওয়াদাপ্রাপ্ত হয়েছি আমরা এবং পূর্ব থেকেই আমাদের বাপ-দাদারা। এটা তো পূর্ববর্তীদের উপকথা বৈ কিছু নয়।
"It is true we were promised this,- we and our fathers before (us): these are nothing but tales of the ancients."		 (নমল:
আয়াতঃ ৬৮)
29 অতঃপর মূসা যখন উভয়ের শত্রুকে শায়েস্তা করতে চাইলেন, তখন সে বলল, গতকল্য তুমি যেমন এক ব্যক্তিকে হত্যা করেছিলে, সে রকম আমাকেও কি হত্যা করতে চাও? তুমি তো পৃথিবীতে স্বৈরাচারী হতে চাচ্ছ এবং সন্ধি স্থাপনকারী হতে চাও না।
Then, when he decided to lay hold of the man who was an enemy to both of them, that man said: "O Moses! Is it thy intention to slay me as thou slewest a man yesterday? Thy intention is none other than to become a powerful violent man in the land, and not to be one who sets things right!"		 (আল কাসাস:
আয়াতঃ ১৯)
30 তোমাদেরকে যা কিছু দেয়া হয়েছে, তা পার্থিব জীবনের ভোগ ও শোভা বৈ নয়। আর আল্লাহর কাছে যা আছে, তা উত্তম ও স্থায়ী। তোমরা কি বোঝ না ?
The (material) things which ye are given are but the conveniences of this life and the glitter thereof; but that which is with Allah is better and more enduring: will ye not then be wise?		 (আল কাসাস:
আয়াতঃ ৬০)
31 এই পার্থিব জীবন ক্রীড়া-কৌতুক বৈ তো কিছুই নয়। পরকালের গৃহই প্রকৃত জীবন; যদি তারা জানত।
What is the life of this world but amusement and play? but verily the Home in the Hereafter,- that is life indeed, if they but knew.		 (আল আনকাবুত:
আয়াতঃ ৬৪)
32 তাঁর আর ও এক নিদর্শন হচ্ছে নভোমন্ডল ও ভূমন্ডলের সৃজন এবং তোমাদের ভাষা ও বর্ণের বৈচিত্র। নিশ্চয় এতে জ্ঞানীদের জন্যে নিদর্শনাবলী রয়েছে।
And among His Signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the variations in your languages and your colours: verily in that are Signs for those who know.		 (আর-রূম:
আয়াতঃ ২২)
33 তোমাদের সৃষ্টি ও পুনরুত্থান একটি মাত্র প্রাণীর সৃষ্টি ও পুনরুত্থানের সমান বৈ নয়। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সব কিছু শোনেন, সবকিছু দেখেন।
And your creation or your resurrection is in no wise but as an individual soul: for Allah is He Who hears and sees (all things).		 (লোকমান:
আয়াতঃ ২৮)
34 এবং যখন মুনাফিক ও যাদের অন্তরে রোগ ছিল তারা বলছিল, আমাদেরকে প্রদত্ত আল্লাহ ও রসূলের প্রতিশ্রুতি প্রতারণা বৈ নয়।
And behold! The Hypocrites and those in whose hearts is a disease (even) say: "Allah and His Messenger promised us nothing but delusion!"		 (আল আহযাব:
আয়াতঃ ১২)
35 হে নবী! আপনার জন্য আপনার স্ত্রীগণকে হালাল করেছি, যাদেরকে আপনি মোহরানা প্রদান করেন। আর দাসীদেরকে হালাল করেছি, যাদেরকে আল্লাহ আপনার করায়ত্ব করে দেন এবং বিবাহের জন্য বৈধ করেছি আপনার চাচাতো ভগ্নি, ফুফাতো ভগ্নি, মামাতো ভগ্নি, খালাতো ভগ্নিকে যারা আপনার সাথে হিজরত করেছে। কোন মুমিন নারী যদি নিজেকে নবীর কাছে সমর্পন করে, নবী তাকে বিবাহ করতে চাইলে সেও হালাল। এটা বিশেষ করে আপনারই জন্য-অন্য মুমিনদের জন্য নয়। আপনার অসুবিধা দূরীকরণের উদ্দেশে। মুমিনগণের স্ত্রী ও দাসীদের ব্যাপারে যা নির্ধারিত করেছি আমার জানা আছে। আল্লাহ ক্ষমাশীল, দয়ালু।
O Prophet! We have made lawful to thee thy wives to whom thou hast paid their dowers; and those whom thy right hand possesses out of the prisoners of war whom Allah has assigned to thee; and daughters of thy paternal uncles and aunts, and daughters of thy maternal uncles and aunts, who migrated (from Makka) with thee; and any believing woman who dedicates her soul to the Prophet if the Prophet wishes to wed her;- this only for thee, and not for the Believers (at large); We know what We have appointed for them as to their wives and the captives whom their right hands possess;- in order that there should be no difficulty for thee. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.		 (আল আহযাব:
আয়াতঃ ৫০)
36 হে মুমিনগণ! তোমাদেরকে অনুমতি দেয়া না হলে তোমরা খাওয়ার জন্য আহার্য রন্ধনের অপেক্ষা না করে নবীর গৃহে প্রবেশ করো না। তবে তোমরা আহুত হলে প্রবেশ করো, তবে অতঃপর খাওয়া শেষে আপনা আপনি চলে যেয়ো, কথাবার্তায় মশগুল হয়ে যেয়ো না। নিশ্চয় এটা নবীর জন্য কষ্টদায়ক। তিনি তোমাদের কাছে সংকোচ বোধ করেন; কিন্তু আল্লাহ সত্যকথা বলতে সংকোচ করেন না। তোমরা তাঁর পত্নীগণের কাছে কিছু চাইলে পর্দার আড়াল থেকে চাইবে। এটা তোমাদের অন্তরের জন্যে এবং তাঁদের অন্তরের জন্যে অধিকতর পবিত্রতার কারণ। আল্লাহর রাসূলকে কষ্ট দেয়া এবং তাঁর ওফাতের পর তাঁর পত্নীগণকে বিবাহ করা তোমাদের জন্য বৈধ নয়। আল্লাহর কাছে এটা গুরুতর অপরাধ।
O ye who believe! Enter not the Prophet's houses,- until leave is given you,- for a meal, (and then) not (so early as) to wait for its preparation: but when ye are invited, enter; and when ye have taken your meal, disperse, without seeking familiar talk. Such (behaviour) annoys the Prophet: he is ashamed to dismiss you, but Allah is not ashamed (to tell you) the truth. And when ye ask (his ladies) for anything ye want, ask them from before a screen: that makes for greater purity for your hearts and for theirs. Nor is it right for you that ye should annoy Allah's Messenger, or that ye should marry his widows after him at any time. Truly such a thing is in Allah's sight an enormity.		 (আল আহযাব:

37 যখন তাদের কাছে আমার সুস্পষ্ট আয়াত সমূহ তেলাওয়াত করা হয়, তখন তারা বলে, তোমাদের বাপ-দাদারা যার এবাদত করত এ লোকটি যে তা থেকে তোমাদেরকে বাধা দিতে চায়। তারা আরও বলে, এটা মনগড়া মিথ্যা বৈ নয়। আর কাফেরদের কাছে যখন সত্য আগমন করে, তখন তারা বলে, এতো এক সুস্পষ্ট যাদু।
When Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them, they say, "This is only a man who wishes to hinder you from the (worship) which your fathers practised." And they say, "This is only a falsehood invented!" and the Unbelievers say of the Truth when it comes to them, "This is nothing but evident magic!"		 (সাবা:
আয়াতঃ ৪৩)
38 রসূলগণ বলল, তোমাদের অকল্যাণ তোমাদের সাথেই! এটা কি এজন্যে যে, আমরা তোমাদেরকে সদুপদেশ দিয়েছি? বস্তুতঃ তোমরা সীমা লংঘনকারী সম্প্রদায় বৈ নও।
They said: "Your evil omens are with yourselves: (deem ye this an evil omen). If ye are admonished? Nay, but ye are a people transgressing all bounds!"		 (ইয়াসীন:
আয়াতঃ ১৯)
39 আমরা সাবেক ধর্মে এ ধরনের কথা শুনিনি। এটা মনগড়া ব্যাপার বৈ নয়।
"We never heard (the like) of this among the people of these latter days: this is nothing but a made-up tale!"		 (ছোয়াদ:
আয়াতঃ ৭)
40 যারা নিজেদের কাছে আগত কোন দলীল ছাড়াই আল্লাহর আয়াত সম্পর্কে বিতর্ক করে, তাদের একজন আল্লাহ ও মুমিনদের কাছে খুবই অসন্তোষজনক। এমনিভাবে আল্লাহ প্রত্যেক অহংকারী-স্বৈরাচারী ব্যক্তির অন্তরে মোহর এঁটে দেন।
"(Such) as dispute about the Signs of Allah, without any authority that hath reached them, grievous and odious (is such conduct) in the sight of Allah and of the Believers. Thus doth Allah, seal up every heart - of arrogant and obstinate Transgressors."		 (আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ৩৫)
41 বলুন, আমি তো কোন নতুন রসূল নই। আমি জানি না, আমার ও তোমাদের সাথে কি ব্যবহার করা হবে। আমি কেবল তারই অনুসরণ করি, যা আমার প্রতি ওহী করা হয়। আমি স্পষ্ট সতর্ক কারী বৈ নই।
Say: "I am no bringer of new-fangled doctrine among the messengers, nor do I know what will be done with me or with you. I follow but that which is revealed to me by inspiration; I am but a Warner open and clear."		 (আল আহক্বাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৯)
42 আর যে ব্যক্তি তার পিতা-মাতাকে বলে, ধিক তোমাদেরকে, তোমরা কি আমাকে খবর দাও যে, আমি পুনরুত্থিত হব, অথচ আমার পূর্বে বহু লোক গত হয়ে গেছে? আর পিতা-মাতা আল্লাহর কাছে ফরিযাদ করে বলে, দুর্ভোগ তোমার তুমি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন কর। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহর ওয়াদা সত্য। তখন সে বলে, এটা তো পূর্ববর্তীদের উপকথা বৈ নয়।
But (there is one) who says to his parents, "Fie on you! Do ye hold out the promise to me that I shall be raised up, even though generations have passed before me (without rising again)?" And they two seek Allah's aid, (and rebuke the son): "Woe to thee! Have faith! for the promise of Allah is true." But he says, "This is nothing but tales of the ancients!"		 (আল আহক্বাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৭)
43 এগুলো কতগুলো নাম বৈ নয়, যা তোমরা এবং তোমাদের পূর্ব-পুরুষদের রেখেছ। এর সমর্থনে আল্লাহ কোন দলীল নাযিল করেননি। তারা অনুমান এবং প্রবৃত্তিরই অনুসরণ করে। অথচ তাদের কাছে তাদের পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে পথ নির্দেশ এসেছে।
These are nothing but names which ye have devised,- ye and your fathers,- for which Allah has sent down no authority (whatever). They follow nothing but conjecture and what their own souls desire!- Even though there has already come to them Guidance from their Lord!		 (আন-নাজম:
আয়াতঃ ২৩)
44 তোমরা জেনে রাখ, পার্থিব জীবন ক্রীড়া-কৌতুক, সাজ-সজ্জা, পারস্পরিক অহমিকা এবং ধন ও জনের প্রাচুর্য ব্যতীত আর কিছু নয়, যেমন এক বৃষ্টির অবস্থা, যার সবুজ ফসল কৃষকদেরকে চমৎকৃত করে, এরপর তা শুকিয়ে যায়, ফলে তুমি তাকে পীতবর্ণ দেখতে পাও, এরপর তা খড়কুটা হয়ে যায়। আর পরকালে আছে কঠিন শাস্তি এবং আল্লাহর ক্ষমা ও সন্তুষ্টি। পার্থিব জীবন প্রতারণার উপকরণ বৈ কিছু নয়।
Know ye (all), that the life of this world is but play and amusement, pomp and mutual boasting and multiplying, (in rivalry) among yourselves, riches and children. Here is a similitude: How rain and the growth which it brings forth, delight (the hearts of) the tillers; soon it withers; thou wilt see it grow yellow; then it becomes dry and crumbles away. But in the Hereafter is a Penalty severe (for the devotees of wrong). And Forgiveness from Allah and (His) Good Pleasure (for the devotees of Allah). And what is the life of this world, but goods and chattels of deception?		 (আল হাদীদ:
আয়াতঃ ২০)
45 অতঃপর আমি তাদের পশ্চাতে প্রেরণ করেছি আমার রসূলগণকে এবং তাদের অনুগামী করেছি মরিয়ম তনয় ঈসাকে ও তাকে দিয়েছি ইঞ্জিল। আমি তার অনুসারীদের অন্তরে স্থাপন করেছি নম্রতা ও দয়া। আর বৈরাগ্য, সে তো তারা নিজেরাই উদ্ভাবন করেছে; আমি এটা তাদের উপর ফরজ করিনি; কিন্তু তারা আল্লাহর সন্তুষ্টি লাভের জন্যে এটা অবলম্বন করেছে। অতঃপর তারা যথাযথভাবে তা পালন করেনি। তাদের মধ্যে যারা বিশ্বাসী ছিল, আমি তাদেরকে তাদের প্রাপ্য পুরস্কার দিয়েছি। আর তাদের অধিকাংশই পাপাচারী।
Then, in their wake, We followed them up with (others of) Our messengers: We sent after them Jesus the son of Mary, and bestowed on him the Gospel; and We ordained in the hearts of those who followed him Compassion and Mercy. But the Monasticism which they invented for themselves, We did not prescribe for them: (We commanded) only the seeking for the Good Pleasure of Allah; but that they did not foster as they should have done. Yet We bestowed, on those among them who believed, their (due) reward, but many of them are rebellious transgressors.		 (আল হাদীদ:
আয়াতঃ ২৭)
46 অথচ এই কোরআন তো বিশ্বজগতের জন্যে উপদেশ বৈ নয়।
But it is nothing less than a Message to all the worlds.		 (আল কলম:
আয়াতঃ ৫২)
47 বিত্ত-বৈভবের অধিকারী মিথ্যারোপকারীদেরকে আমার হাতে ছেড়ে দিন এবং তাদেরকে কিছু অবকাশ দিন।
And leave Me (alone to deal with) those in possession of the good things of life, who (yet) deny the Truth; and bear with them for a little while.		 (মুযযামমিল:
আয়াতঃ ১১)
48 এরপর বলেছেঃ এতো লোক পরস্পরায় প্রাপ্ত জাদু বৈ নয়,
Then said he: "This is nothing but magic, derived from of old;		 (আল মুদ্দাসসির:
আয়াতঃ ২৪)
49 এতো মানুষের উক্তি বৈ নয়।
"This is nothing but the word of a mortal!"		 (আল মুদ্দাসসির:
আয়াতঃ ২৫)
50 আমি জাহান্নামের তত্ত্বাবধায়ক ফেরেশতাই রেখেছি। আমি কাফেরদেরকে পরীক্ষা করার জন্যেই তার এই সংখ্যা করেছি-যাতে কিতাবীরা দৃঢ়বিশ্বাসী হয়, মুমিনদের ঈমান বৃদ্ধি পায় এবং কিতাবীরা ও মুমিনগণ সন্দেহ পোষণ না করে এবং যাতে যাদের অন্তরে রোগ আছে, তারা এবং কাফেররা বলে যে, আল্লাহ এর দ্বারা কি বোঝাতে চেয়েছেন। এমনিভাবে আল্লাহ যাকে ইচ্ছা পথভ্রষ্ট করেন এবং যাকে ইচ্ছা সৎপথে চালান। আপনার পালনকর্তার বাহিনী সম্পর্কে একমাত্র তিনিই জানেন এটা তো মানুষের জন্যে উপদেশ বৈ নয়।
And We have set none but angels as Guardians of the Fire; and We have fixed their number only as a trial for Unbelievers,- in order that the People of the Book may arrive at certainty, and the Believers may increase in Faith,- and that no doubts may be left for the People of the Book and the Believers, and that those in whose hearts is a disease and the Unbelievers may say, "What symbol doth Allah intend by this?" Thus doth Allah leave to stray whom He pleaseth, and guide whom He pleaseth: and none can know the forces of thy Lord, except He and this is no other than a warning to mankind.		 (আল মুদ্দাসসির:
