তারা কি জাহেলিয়াত আমলের ফয়সালা কামনা করে? আল্লাহ অপেক্ষা বিশ্বাসীদের জন্যে উত্তম ফয়সালাকারী কে?
Do they then seek after a judgment of (the days of) ignorance? But who, for a people whose faith is assured, can give better judgment than Allah? |

আর যারা আল্লাহ তাঁর রসূল এবং বিশ্বাসীদেরকে বন্ধুরূপে গ্রহণ করে, তারাই আল্লাহর দল এবং তারাই বিজয়ী।
As to those who turn (for friendship) to Allah, His Messenger, and the (fellowship of) believers,- it is the fellowship of Allah that must certainly triumph. |

আর আপনি যদি দেখেন, যখন তাদেরকে দোযখের উপর দাঁড় করানো হবে! তারা বলবেঃ কতই না ভাল হত, যদি আমরা পুনঃ প্রেরিত হতাম; তা হলে আমরা স্বীয় পালনকর্তার নিদর্শনসমূহে মিথ্যারোপ করতাম না এবং আমরা বিশ্বাসীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হয়ে যেতাম।
If thou couldst but see when they are confronted with the Fire! They will say: "Would that we were but sent back! Then would we not reject the signs of our Lord, but would be amongst those who believe!" |

এটি একটি গ্রন্থ, যা আপনার প্রতি অবতীর্ণ হয়েছে, যাতে করে আপনি এর মাধ্যমে ভীতি-প্রদর্শন করেন। অতএব, এটি পৌছে দিতে আপনার মনে কোনরূপ সংকীর্ণতা থাকা উচিত নয়। আর এটিই বিশ্বাসীদের জন্যে উপদেশ।
A Book revealed unto thee,- So let thy heart be oppressed no more by any difficulty on that account,- that with it thou mightest warn (the erring) and teach the Believers). |

তোমরা পথে ঘাটে এ কারণে বসে থেকো না যে, আল্লাহ বিশ্বাসীদেরকে হুমকি দিবে, আল্লাহর পথে বাধা সৃষ্টি করবে এবং তাতে বক্রতা অনুসন্ধান করবে। স্মরণ কর, যখন তোমরা সংখ্যায় অল্প ছিলে অতঃপর আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে অধিক করেছেন এবং লক্ষ্য কর কিরূপ অশুভ পরিণতি হয়েছে অনর্থকারীদের।
"And squat not on every road, breathing threats, hindering from the path of Allah those who believe in Him, and seeking in it something crooked; But remember how ye were little, and He gave you increase. And hold in your mind's eye what was the end of those who did mischief. |

তারা কি উড়ন্ত পাখীকে দেখে না? এগুলো আকাশের অন্তরীক্ষে আজ্ঞাধীন রয়েছে। আল্লাহ ছাড়া কেউ এগুলোকে আগলে রাখে না। নিশ্চয় এতে বিশ্বাসীদের জন্যে নিদর্শনবলী রয়েছে।
Do they not look at the birds, held poised in the midst of (the air and) the sky? Nothing holds them up but (the power of) Allah. Verily in this are signs for those who believe. |
(নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ৭৯) |

এটা এ জন্যে যে, তারা পার্থিব জীবনকে পরকালের চাইতে প্রিয় মনে করেছে এবং আল্লাহ অবিশ্বাসীদেরকে পথ প্রদর্শন করেন না।
This because they love the life of this world better than the Hereafter: and Allah will not guide those who reject Faith. |

যখন আপনি কোরআন পাঠ করেন, তখন আমি আপনার মধ্যে ও পরকালে অবিশ্বাসীদের মধ্যে প্রচ্ছন্ন পর্দা ফেলে দেই।
When thou dost recite the Qur'an, We put, between thee and those who believe not in the Hereafter, a veil invisible: |

আয়াতঃ ৪৫) |

হে নবী! আল্লাহকে ভয় করুন এবং কাফের ও কপট বিশ্বাসীদের কথা মানবেন না। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সর্বজ্ঞ, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
O Prophet! Fear Allah, and hearken not to the Unbelievers and the Hypocrites: verily Allah is full of Knowledge and Wisdom. |

আমি যদি একে অনারব ভাষায় কোরআন করতাম, তবে অবশ্যই তারা বলত, এর আয়াতসমূহ পরিস্কার ভাষায় বিবৃত হয়নি কেন? কি আশ্চর্য যে, কিতাব অনারব ভাষায় আর রসূল আরবী ভাষী! বলুন, এটা বিশ্বাসীদের জন্য হেদায়েত ও রোগের প্রতিকার। যারা মুমিন নয়, তাদের কানে আছে ছিপি, আর কোরআন তাদের জন্যে অন্ধত্ব। তাদেরকে যেন দূরবর্তী স্থান থেকে আহবান করা হয়।
Had We sent this as a Qur'an (in the language) other than Arabic, they would have said: "Why are not its verses explained in detail? What! (a Book) not in Arabic and (a Messenger an Arab?" Say: "It is a Guide and a Healing to those who believe; and for those who believe not, there is a deafness in their ears, and it is blindness in their (eyes): They are (as it were) being called from a place far distant!" |

আর তোমাদের সৃষ্টিতে এবং চারদিকে ছড়িয়ে রাখা জীব জন্তুর সৃজনের মধ্যেও নিদর্শনাবলী রয়েছে বিশ্বাসীদের জন্য।
And in the creation of yourselves and the fact that animals are scattered (through the earth), are Signs for those of assured Faith. |

আমি অবিশ্বাসীদের জন্যে প্রস্তুত রেখেছি শিকল, বেড়ি ও প্রজ্বলিত অগ্নি।
For the Rejecters we have prepared chains, yokes, and a blazing Fire. |
(আদ-দাহর:
আয়াতঃ ৪) |

যারা অপরাধী, তারা বিশ্বাসীদেরকে উপহাস করত।
Those in sin used to laugh at those who believed, |
(আত-তাতফীফ:
আয়াতঃ ২৯) |
| 14 |
আর যখন তারা বিশ্বাসীদেরকে দেখত, তখন বলত, নিশ্চয় এরা বিভ্রান্ত।
And whenever they saw them, they would say, "Behold! These are the people truly astray!" |
(আত-তাতফীফ:
আয়াতঃ ৩২) |

অথচ তারা বিশ্বাসীদের তত্ত্বাবধায়করূপে প্রেরিত হয়নি।
But they had not been sent as keepers over them! |
(আত-তাতফীফ:
আয়াতঃ ৩৩) |
| 16 |
এবং তারা বিশ্বাসীদের সাথে যা করেছিল, তা নিরীক্ষণ করছিল।
And they witnessed (all) that they were doing against the Believers. |
