| 1 |
হে রসূল, তাদের জন্যে দুঃখ করবেন না, যারা দৌড়ে গিয়ে কুফরে পতিত হয়; যারা মুখে বলেঃ আমরা মুসলমান, অথচ তাদের অন্তর মুসলমান নয় এবং যারা ইহুদী; মিথ্যাবলার জন্যে তারা গুপ্তচর বৃত্তি করে। তারা অন্যদলের গুপ্তচর, যারা আপনার কাছে আসেনি। তারা বাক্যকে স্বস্থান থেকে পরিবর্তন করে। তারা বলেঃ যদি তোমরা এ নির্দেশ পাও, তবে কবুল করে নিও এবং যদি এ নির্দেশ না পাও, তবে বিরত থেকো। আল্লাহ যাকে পথভ্রষ্ট করতে চান, তার জন্যে আল্লাহর কাছে আপনি কিছু করতে পারবেন না। এরা এমনিই যে, আল্লাহ এদের অন্তরকে পবিত্র করতে চান না। তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে দুনিয়াতে লাঞ্ছনা এবং পরকালে বিরাট শাস্তি।
O Messenger! let not those grieve thee, who race each other into unbelief: (whether it be) among those who say "We believe" with their lips but whose hearts have no faith; or it be among the Jews,- men who will listen to any lie,- will listen even to others who have never so much as come to thee. They change the words from their (right) times and places: they say, "If ye are given this, take it, but if not, beware!" If any one's trial is intended by Allah, thou hast no authority in the least for him against Allah. For such - it is not Allah's will to purify their hearts. For them there is disgrace in this world, and in the Hereafter a heavy punishment. |

অতএব, আপনি তাদেরকে এবং তাদের মিথ্যাপবাদকে মুক্ত ছেড়ে দিন যাতে কারুকার্যখচিত বাক্যের প্রতি তাদের মন আকৃষ্ট হয় যারা পরকালে বিশ্বাস করে না এবং তারা একেও পছন্দ করে নেয় এবং যাতে ঐসব কাজ করে, যা তারা করছে।
To such (deceit) let the hearts of those incline, who have no faith in the hereafter: let them delight in it, and let them earn from it what they may. |

আপনার প্রতিপালকের বাক্য পূর্ণ সত্য ও সুষম। তাঁর বাক্যের কোন পরিবর্তনকারী নেই। তিনিই শ্রবণকারী, মহাজ্ঞানী।
The word of thy Lord doth find its fulfilment in truth and in justice: None can change His words: for He is the one who heareth and knoweth all. |

তারা কসম খায় যে, আমরা বলিনি, অথচ নিঃসন্দেহে তারা বলেছে কুফরী বাক্য এবং মুসলমান হবার পর অস্বীকৃতিজ্ঞাপনকারী হয়েছে। আর তারা কামনা করেছিল এমন বস্তুর যা তারা প্রাপ্ত হয়নি। আর এসব তারই পরিণতি ছিল যে, আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূল তাদেরকে সম্পদশালী করে দিয়েছিলেন নিজের অনুগ্রহের মাধ্যমে। বস্তুতঃ এরা যদি তওবা করে নেয়, তবে তাদের জন্য মঙ্গল। আর যদি তা না মানে, তবে তাদের কে আযাব দেবেন আল্লাহ তা’আলা, বেদনাদায়ক আযাব দুনিয়া ও আখেরাতে। অতএব, বিশ্বচরাচরে তাদের জন্য কোন সাহায্যকারী-সমর্থক নেই।
They swear by Allah that they said nothing (evil), but indeed they uttered blasphemy, and they did it after accepting Islam; and they meditated a plot which they were unable to carry out: this revenge of theirs was (their) only return for the bounty with which Allah and His Messenger had enriched them! If they repent, it will be best for them; but if they turn back (to their evil ways), Allah will punish them with a grievous penalty in this life and in the Hereafter: They shall have none on earth to protect or help them. |

মিসরে যে ব্যক্তি তাকে ক্রয় করল, সে তার স্ত্রীকে বললঃ একে সম্মানে রাখ। সম্ভবতঃ সে আমাদের কাছে আসবে অথবা আমরা তাকে পুত্ররূপে গ্রহণ করে নেব। এমনিভাবে আমি ইউসুফকে এদেশে প্রতিষ্ঠিত করলাম এবং এ জন্যে যে তাকে বাক্যাদির পূর্ণ মর্ম অনুধাবনের পদ্ধতি বিষয়ে শিক্ষা দেই। আল্লাহ নিজ কাজে প্রবল থাকেন, কিন্তু অধিকাংশ লোক তা জানে না।
The man in Egypt who bought him, said to his wife: "Make his stay (among us) honourable: may be he will bring us much good, or we shall adopt him as a son." Thus did We establish Joseph in the land, that We might teach him the interpretation of stories (and events). And Allah hath full power and control over His affairs; but most among mankind know it not. |

তুমি কি লক্ষ্য কর না, আল্লাহ তা’আলা কেমন উপমা বর্ণনা করেছেনঃ পবিত্র বাক্য হলো পবিত্র বৃক্ষের মত। তার শিকড় মজবুত এবং শাখা আকাশে উত্থিত।
Seest thou not how Allah sets forth a parable? - A goodly word like a goodly tree, whose root is firmly fixed, and its branches (reach) to the heavens,- of its Lord. So Allah sets forth parables for men, in order that they may receive admonition. |

এবং নোংরা বাক্যের উদাহরণ হলো নোংরা বৃক্ষ। একে মাটির উপর থেকে উপড়ে নেয়া হয়েছে। এর কোন স্থিতি নেই।
And the parable of an evil Word is that of an evil tree: It is torn up by the root from the surface of the earth: it has no stability. |

আল্লাহ তা’আলা মুমিনদেরকে মজবুত বাক্য দ্বারা মজবুত করেন। পার্থিবজীবনে এবং পরকালে। এবং আল্লাহ জালেমদেরকে পথভ্রষ্ট করেন। আল্লাহ যা ইচ্ছা, তা করেন।
Allah will establish in strength those who believe, with the word that stands firm, in this world and in the Hereafter; but Allah will leave, to stray, those who do wrong: Allah doeth what He willeth. |
(ইব্রাহীম:
আয়াতঃ ২৭) |

আপনার প্রতি আপনার পালনকর্তার যে, কিতাব প্রত্যাদিষ্ট করা হয়েছে, তা পাঠ করুন। তাঁর বাক্য পরিবর্তন করার কেউ নাই। তাঁকে ব্যতীত আপনি কখনই কোন আশ্রয় স্থল পাবেন না।
And recite (and teach) what has been revealed to thee of the Book of thy Lord: none can change His Words, and none wilt thou find as a refuge other than Him. |
(কাহফ:
আয়াতঃ ২৭) |

তারা পথপ্রদর্শিত হয়েছিল সৎবাক্যের দিকে এবং পরিচালিত হয়েছিল প্রশংসিত আল্লাহর পথপানে।
For they have been guided (in this life) to the purest of speeches; they have been guided to the Path of Him Who is Worthy of (all) Praise. |
(হাজ্জ্ব:
আয়াতঃ ২৪) |
| 11 |
পৃথিবীতে যত বৃক্ষ আছে, সবই যদি কলম হয় এবং সমুদ্রের সাথেও সাত সমুদ্র যুক্ত হয়ে কালি হয়, তবুও তাঁর বাক্যাবলী লিখে শেষ করা যাবে না। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ পরাক্রমশালী, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
And if all the trees on earth were pens and the ocean (were ink), with seven oceans behind it to add to its (supply), yet would not the words of Allah be exhausted (in the writing): for Allah is Exalted in Power, full of Wisdom. |

কেউ সম্মান চাইলে জেনে রাখুন, সমস্ত সম্মান আল্লাহরই জন্যে। তাঁরই দিকে আরোহণ করে সৎবাক্য এবং সৎকর্ম তাকে তুলে নেয়। যারা মন্দ কার্যের চক্রান্তে লেগে থাকে, তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে কঠোর শাস্তি। তাদের চক্রান্ত ব্যর্থ হবে।
If any do seek for glory and power,- to Allah belong all glory and power. To Him mount up (all) Words of Purity: It is He Who exalts each Deed of Righteousness. Those that lay Plots of Evil,- for them is a Penalty terrible; and the plotting of such will be void (of result). |
(ফাতির:
আয়াতঃ ১০) |

আমার রাসূল ও বান্দাগণের ব্যাপারে আমার এই বাক্য সত্য হয়েছে যে,
Already has Our Word been passed before (this) to our Servants sent (by Us), |
(আস-সাফফাত:
আয়াতঃ ১৭১) |
| 14 |
এভাবে কাফেরদের বেলায় আপনার পালনকর্তার এ বাক্য সত্য হল যে, তারা জাহান্নামী।
Thus was the Decree of thy Lord proved true against the Unbelievers; that truly they are Companions of the Fire! |
(আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ৬) |

নাকি তারা একথা বলে যে, তিনি আল্লাহর বিরুদ্ধে মিথ্যা রটনা করেছেন? আল্লাহ ইচ্ছা করলে আপনার অন্তরে মোহর এঁটে দিতেন। বস্তুতঃ তিনি মিথ্যাকে মিটিয়ে দেন এবং নিজ বাক্য দ্বারা সত্যকে প্রতিষ্ঠিত করেন। নিশ্চয় তিনি অন্তর্নিহিত বিষয় সম্পর্কে সর্বিশেষ জ্ঞাত।
What! Do they say, "He has forged a falsehood against Allah"? But if Allah willed, He could seal up thy heart. And Allah blots out Vanity, and proves the Truth by His Words. For He knows well the secrets of all hearts. |
(আশ-শুরা:
আয়াতঃ ২৪) |
| 16 |
তাদের আনুগত্য ও মিষ্ট বাক্য জানা আছে। অতএব, জেহাদের সিন্ধান্ত হলে যদি তারা আল্লাহর প্রতি প্রদত্ত অংগীকার পূর্ণ করে, তবে তাদের জন্যে তা মঙ্গলজনক হবে।
Were it to obey and say what is just, and when a matter is resolved on, it were best for them if they were true to Allah. |

তারা তথায় অসার ও মিথ্যা বাক্য শুনবে না।
No vanity shall they hear therein, nor Untruth:- |
