নং আয়াত সূরা
1 স্মরণ কর, যখন তাকে তার পালনকর্তা বললেনঃ অনুগত হও। সে বললঃ আমি বিশ্বপালকের অনুগত হলাম।
Behold! his Lord said to him: "Bow (thy will to Me):" He said: "I bow (my will) to the Lord and Cherisher of the Universe."		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ১৩১)
2 তোমরা কি উপস্থিত ছিলে, যখন ইয়াকুবের মৃত্যু নিকটবর্তী হয়? যখন সে সন্তানদের বললঃ আমার পর তোমরা কার এবাদত করবে? তারা বললো, আমরা তোমার পিতৃ-পুরুষ ইব্রাহীম, ইসমাঈল ও ইসহাকের উপাস্যের এবাদত করব। তিনি একক উপাস্য।
Were ye witnesses when death appeared before Jacob? Behold, he said to his sons: "What will ye worship after me?" They said: "We shall worship Thy god and the god of thy fathers, of Abraham, Isma'il and Isaac,- the one (True) Allah: To Him we bow (in Islam)."		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ১৩৩)
3 যার প্রতি আল্লাহ অভিসম্পাত করেছেন। শয়তান বললঃ আমি অবশ্যই তোমার বান্দাদের মধ্য থেকে নির্দিষ্ট অংশ গ্রহণ করব।
Allah did curse him, but he said: "I will take of Thy servants a portion Marked off;		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১১৮)
4 তারা বললঃ হে মূসা, সেখানে একটি প্রবল পরাক্রান্ত জাতি রয়েছে। আমরা কখনও সেখানে যাব না, যে পর্যন্ত না তারা সেখান থেকে বের হয়ে যায়। তারা যদি সেখান থেকে বের হয়ে যায় তবে নিশ্চিতই আমরা প্রবেশ করব।’
They said: "O Moses! In this land are a people of exceeding strength: Never shall we enter it until they leave it: if (once) they leave, then shall we enter."		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ২২)
5 তারা বললঃ হে মূসা, আমরা জীবনেও কখনো সেখানে যাব না, যতক্ষণ তারা সেখানে থাকবে। অতএব, আপনি ও আপনার পালনকর্তাই যান এবং উভয়ে যুদ্ধ করে নিন। আমরা তো এখানেই বসলাম।
They said: "O Moses! while they remain there, never shall we be able to enter, to the end of time. Go thou, and thy Lord, and fight ye two, while we sit here (and watch)."		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ২৪)
6 মূসা বললঃ হে আমার পালনকর্তা, আমি শুধু নিজের উপর ও নিজের ভাইয়ের উপর ক্ষমতা রাখি। অতএব, আপনি আমাদের মধ্যে ও এ অবাধ্য সম্প্রদায়ের মধ্যে সম্পর্কচ্ছেদ করুন।
He said: "O my Lord! I have power only over myself and my brother: so separate us from this rebellious people!"		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ২৫)
7 আপনি তাদেরকে আদমের দুই পুত্রের বাস্তব অবস্থা পাঠ করে শুনান। যখন তারা ভয়েই কিছু উৎসর্গ নিবেদন করেছিল, তখন তাদের একজনের উৎসর্গ গৃহীত হয়েছিল এবং অপরজনের গৃহীত হয়নি। সে বললঃ আমি অবশ্যই তোমাকে হত্যা করব। সে বললঃ আল্লাহ ধর্মভীরুদের পক্ষ থেকেই তো গ্রহণ করেন।
Recite to them the truth of the story of the two sons of Adam. Behold! they each presented a sacrifice (to Allah): It was accepted from one, but not from the other. Said the latter: "Be sure I will slay thee." "Surely," said the former, "Allah doth accept of the sacrifice of those who are righteous.		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ২৭)
8 আল্লাহ এক কাক প্রেরণ করলেন। সে মাটি খনন করছিল যাতে তাকে শিক্ষা দেয় যে, আপন ভ্রাতার মৃতদেহ কিভাবে আবৃত করবে। সে বললঃ আফসোস, আমি কি এ কাকের সমতুল্যও হতে পারলাম না যে, আপন ভ্রাতার মৃতদেহ আবৃত করি। অতঃপর সে অনুতাপ করতে লাগল।
Then Allah sent a raven, who scratched the ground, to show him how to hide the shame of his brother. "Woe is me!" said he; "Was I not even able to be as this raven, and to hide the shame of my brother?" then he became full of regrets-		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৩১)
9 যখন আল্লাহ বলবেনঃ হে ঈসা ইবনে মরিয়ম, তোমার প্রতি ও তোমার মাতার প্রতি আমার অনুগ্রহ স্মরণ কর, যখন আমি তোমাকে পবিত্র আত্মার দ্বারা সাহায্য করেছি। তুমি মানুষের সাথে কথা বলতে কোলে থাকতেও এবং পরিণত বয়সেও এবং যখন আমি তোমাকে গ্রন্থ, প্রগাঢ় জ্ঞান, তওরাত ও ইঞ্জিল শিক্ষা দিয়েছি এবং যখন তুমি কাদামাটি দিয়ে পাখীর প্রতিকৃতির মত প্রতিকৃতি নির্মাণ করতে আমার আদেশে, অতঃপর তুমি তাতে ফুঁ দিতে; ফলে তা আমার আদেশে পাখী হয়ে যেত এবং তুমি আমার আদেশে জন্মান্ধ ও কুষ্টরোগীকে নিরাময় করে দিতে এবং যখন আমি বনী-ইসরাঈলকে তোমা থেকে নিবৃত্ত রেখেছিলাম, যখন তুমি তাদের কাছে প্রমাণাদি নিয়ে এসেছিলে, অতঃপর তাদের মধ্যে যারা কাফের ছিল, তারা বললঃ এটা প্রকাশ্য জাদু ছাড়া কিছুই নয়।
Then will Allah say: "O Jesus the son of Mary! Recount My favour to thee and to thy mother. Behold! I strengthened thee with the holy spirit, so that thou didst speak to the people in childhood and in maturity. Behold! I taught thee the Book and Wisdom, the Law and the Gospel and behold! thou makest out of clay, as it were, the figure of a bird, by My leave, and thou breathest into it and it becometh a bird by My leave, and thou healest those born blind, and the lepers, by My leave. And behold! thou bringest forth the dead by My leave. And behold! I did restrain the Children of Israel from (violence to) thee when thou didst show them the clear Signs, and the unbelievers among them said: 'This is nothing but evident magic.'		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১১০)
10 যখন হাওয়ারীরা বললঃ হে মরিয়ম তনয় ঈসা, আপনার পালনকর্তা কি এরূপ করতে পারেন যে, আমাদের জন্যে আকাশ থেকে খাদ্যভর্তি খাঞ্চা অবতরণ করে দেবেন? তিনি বললেনঃ যদি তোমরা ঈমানদার হও, তবে আল্লাহকে ভয় কর।
Behold! the disciples, said: "O Jesus the son of Mary! can thy Lord send down to us a table set (with viands) from heaven?" Said Jesus: "Fear Allah, if ye have faith."		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১১২)
11 তারা বললঃ আমরা তা থেকে খেতে চাই; আমাদের অন্তর পরিতৃপ্ত হবে; আমরা জেনে নেব যে, আপনি সত্য বলেছেন এবং আমরা সাক্ষ্যদাতা হয়ে যাব।
They said: "We only wish to eat thereof and satisfy our hearts, and to know that thou hast indeed told us the truth; and that we ourselves may be witnesses to the miracle."		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১১৩)
12 অনন্তর যখন রজনীর অন্ধকার তার উপর সমাচ্ছন্ন হল, তখন সে একটি তারকা দেখতে পেল, বললঃ ইহা আমার প্রতিপালক। অতঃপর যখন তা অস্তমিত হল তখন বললঃ আমি অস্তগামীদেরকে ভালবাসি না।
When the night covered him over, He saw a star: He said: "This is my Lord." But when it set, He said: "I love not those that set."		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ৭৬)
13 অতঃপর যখন চন্দ্রকে ঝলমল করতে দেখল, বললঃ এটি আমার প্রতিপালক। অনন্তর যখন তা অদৃশ্য হয়ে গেল, তখন বলল যদি আমার প্রতিপালক আমাকে পথ-প্রদর্শন না করেন, তবে অবশ্যই আমি বিভ্রান্ত সম্প্রদায়ের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হয়ে যাব।
When he saw the moon rising in splendour, he said: "This is my Lord." But when the moon set, He said: "unless my Lord guide me, I shall surely be among those who go astray."		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ৭৭)
14 অতঃপর যখন সূর্যকে চকচক করতে দেখল, বললঃ এটি আমার পালনকর্তা, এটি বৃহত্তর। অতপর যখন তা ডুবে গেল, তখন বলল হে আমার সম্প্রদায়, তোমরা যেসব বিষয়কে শরীক কর, আমি ওসব থেকে মুক্ত।
When he saw the sun rising in splendour, he said: "This is my Lord; this is the greatest (of all)." But when the sun set, he said: "O my people! I am indeed free from your (guilt) of giving partners to Allah.		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ৭৮)
15 তাঁর সাথে তার সম্প্রদায় বিতর্ক করল। সে বললঃ তোমরা কি আমার সাথে আল্লাহর একত্ববাদ সম্পর্কে বিতর্ক করছ; অথচ তিনি আমাকে পথ প্রদর্শন করেছেন। তোমরা যাদেরকে শরীক কর, আমি তাদেরকে ভয় করি না তবে আমার পালকর্তাই যদি কোন কষ্ট দিতে চান। আমার পালনকর্তাই প্রত্যেক বস্তুকে স্বীয় জ্ঞান দ্বারা বেষ্টন করে আছেন। তোমরা কি চিন্তা কর না ?
His people disputed with him. He said: "(Come) ye to dispute with me, about Allah, when He (Himself) hath guided me? I fear not (the beings) ye associate with Allah: Unless my Lord willeth, (nothing can happen). My Lord comprehendeth in His knowledge all things. Will ye not (yourselves) be admonished?		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ৮০)
16 তারা আল্লাহকে যথার্থ মূল্যায়ন করতে পারেনি, যখন তারা বললঃ আল্লাহ কোন মানুষের প্রতি কোন কিছু অবতীর্ণ করেননি। আপনি জিজ্ঞেস করুনঃ ঐ গ্রন্থ কে নাযিল করেছে, যা মূসা নিয়ে এসেছিল ? যা জ্যোতিবিশেষ এবং মানব মন্ডলীর জন্যে হোদায়েতস্বরূপ, যা তোমরা বিক্ষিপ্তপত্রে রেখে লোকদের জন্যে প্রকাশ করছ এবং বহুলাংশকে গোপন করছ। তোমাদেরকে এমন অনেক বিষয় শিক্ষা দেয়া হয়েছে, যা তোমরা এবং তোমাদের পূর্বপুরুষরা জানতো না। আপনি বলে দিনঃ আল্লাহ নাযিল করেছেন। অতঃপর তাদেরকে তাদের ক্রীড়ামূলক বৃত্তিতে ব্যাপৃত থাকতে দিন।
No just estimate of Allah do they make when they say: "Nothing doth Allah send down to man (by way of revelation)" Say: "Who then sent down the Book which Moses brought?- a light and guidance to man: But ye make it into (separate) sheets for show, while ye conceal much (of its contents): therein were ye taught that which ye knew not- neither ye nor your fathers." Say: "Allah (sent it down)": Then leave them to plunge in vain discourse and trifling.		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ৯১)
17 অনন্তর যখন তাদের কাছে আমার আযাব উপস্থিত হয়, তখন তাদের কথা এই ছিল যে, তারা বললঃ নিশ্চয় আমরা অত্যাচারী ছিলাম।
When (thus) Our punishment took them, no cry did they utter but this: "Indeed we did wrong."		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৫)
18 আল্লাহ বললেনঃ আমি যখন নির্দেশ দিয়েছি, তখন তোকে কিসে সেজদা করতে বারণ করল? সে বললঃ আমি তার চাইতে শ্রেষ্ট। আপনি আমাকে আগুন দ্বারা সৃষ্টি করেছেন এবং তাকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন মাটির দ্বারা।
(Allah) said: "What prevented thee from prostrating when I commanded thee?" He said: "I am better than he: Thou didst create me from fire, and him from clay."		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১২)
19 সে বললঃ আমাকে কেয়ামত দিবস পর্যন্ত অবকাশ দিন।
He said: "Give me respite till the day they are raised up."		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৪)
20 সে বললঃ আপনি আমাকে যেমন উদভ্রান্ত করেছেন, আমিও অবশ্য তাদের জন্যে আপনার সরল পথে বসে থাকবো।
He said: "Because thou hast thrown me out of the way, lo! I will lie in wait for them on thy straight way:		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৬)
21 অতঃপর শয়তান উভয়কে প্ররোচিত করল, যাতে তাদের অঙ্গ, যা তাদের কাছে গোপন ছিল, তাদের সামনে প্রকাশ করে দেয়। সে বললঃ তোমাদের পালনকর্তা তোমাদেরকে এ বৃক্ষ থেকে নিষেধ করেননি; তবে তা এ কারণে যে, তোমরা না আবার ফেরেশতা হয়ে যাও-কিংবা হয়ে যাও চিরকাল বসবাসকারী।
Then began Satan to whisper suggestions to them, bringing openly before their minds all their shame that was hidden from them (before): he said: "Your Lord only forbade you this tree, lest ye should become angels or such beings as live for ever."		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ২০)
22 সে তাদের কাছে কসম খেয়ে বললঃ আমি অবশ্যই তোমাদের হিতাকাঙ্খী।
And he swore to them both, that he was their sincere adviser.		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ২১)
23 তারা উভয়ে বললঃ হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা আমরা নিজেদের প্রতি জুলম করেছি। যদি আপনি আমাদেরকে ক্ষমা না করেন এবং আমাদের প্রতি অনুগ্রহ না করেন, তবে আমরা অবশ্যই অবশ্যই ধ্বংস হয়ে যাব।
They said: "Our Lord! We have wronged our own souls: If thou forgive us not and bestow not upon us Thy Mercy, we shall certainly be lost."		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ২৩)
24 নিশ্চয় আমি নূহকে তার সম্প্রদায়ের প্রতি পাঠিয়েছি। সে বললঃ হে আমার সম্প্রদায়, তোমরা আল্লাহর এবাদত কর। তিনি ব্যতীত তোমাদের কোন উপাস্য নেই। আমি তোমাদের জন্যে একটি মহাদিবসের শাস্তির আশঙ্কা করি।
We sent Noah to his people. He said: "O my people! worship Allah! ye have no other god but Him. I fear for you the punishment of a dreadful day!		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৫৯)
25 তার সম্প্রদায়ের সর্দাররা বললঃ আমরা তোমাকে প্রকাশ্য পথভ্রষ্টতার মাঝে দেখতে পাচ্ছি।
The leaders of his people said: "Ah! we see thee evidently wandering (in mind)."		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৬০)
26 সে বললঃ হে আমার সম্প্রদায়, আমি কখনও ভ্রান্ত নই; কিন্তু আমি বিশ্বপ্রতিপালকের রসূল।
He said: "O my people! No wandering is there in my (mind): on the contrary I am a messenger from the Lord and Cherisher of the worlds!		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৬১)
27 আদ সম্প্রদায়ের কাছে প্রেরণ করেছি তাদের ভাই হুদকে। সে বললঃ হে আমার সম্প্রদায়, তোমরা আল্লাহর এবাদত কর। তিনি ব্যতিত তোমাদের কোন উপাস্য নেই।
To the 'Ad people, (We sent) Hud, one of their (own) brethren: He said: O my people! worship Allah! ye have no other god but Him will ye not fear (Allah)?"		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৬৫)
28 তারা স্প্রদায়ের সর্দররা বললঃ আমরা তোমাকে নির্বোধ দেখতে পাচ্ছি এবং আমরা তোমাকে মিথ্যাবাদী মনে করি।
The leaders of the Unbelievers among his people said: "Ah! we see thou art an imbecile!" and "We think thou art a liar!"		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৬৬)
29 সে বললঃ হে আমার সম্প্রদায়, আমি মোটেই নির্বোধ নই, বরং আমি বিশ্ব প্রতিপালকের প্রেরিত পয়গম্বর।
He said: "O my people! I am no imbecile, but (I am) a messenger from the Lord and Cherisher of the worlds!		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৬৭)
30 তারা বললঃ তুমি কি আমাদের কাছে এজন্যে এসেছ যে আমরা এক আল্লাহর এবাদত করি এবং আমাদের বাপ-দাদা যাদের পূজা করত, তাদেরকে ছেড়ে দেই? অতএব নিয়ে আস আমাদের কাছে যাদ্দ্বারা আমাদেরকে ভয় দেখাচ্ছ, যদি তুমি সত্যবাদী হও।
They said: "Comest thou to us, that we may worship Allah alone, and give up the cult of our fathers? bring us what thou threatenest us with, if so be that thou tellest the truth!"		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৭০)
31 সে বললঃ অবধারিত হয়ে গেছে তোমাদের উপর তোমাদের প্রতিপালকের পক্ষ থেকে শাস্তি ও ক্রোধ। আমার সাথে ঐসব নাম সম্পর্কে কেন তর্ক করছ, যেগুলো তোমরা ও তোমাদের বাপ-দাদারা রেখেছে। আল্লাহ এদের কোন মন্দ অবর্তীণ করেননি। অতএব অপেক্ষা কর। আমিও তোমাদের সাথে অপেক্ষা করছি।
He said: "Punishment and wrath have already come upon you from your Lord: dispute ye with me over names which ye have devised - ye and your fathers,- without authority from Allah? then wait: I am amongst you, also waiting."		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৭১)
32 সামুদ সম্প্রদায়ের কাছে প্রেরণ করেছি তাদের ভাই সালেহকে। সে বললঃ হে আমার সম্প্রদায়, তোমরা আল্লাহর এবাদত কর। তিনি ব্যতিত তোমাদের কোন উপাস্য নেই। তোমাদের কাছে তোমাদের প্রতিপালকের পক্ষ থেকে একটি প্রমাণ এসে গেছে। এটি আল্লাহর উষ্টী তোমাদের জন্যে প্রমাণ। অতএব একে ছেড়ে দাও, আল্লাহর ভুমিতে চড়ে বেড়াবে। একে অসৎভাবে স্পর্শ করবে না। অন্যথায় তোমাদেরকে যন্ত্রনাদায়ক শাস্তি পাকড়াও করবে।
To the Thamud people (We sent) Salih, one of their own brethren: He said: "O my people! worship Allah: ye have no other god but Him. Now hath come unto you a clear (Sign) from your Lord! This she-camel of Allah is a Sign unto you: So leave her to graze in Allah's earth, and let her come to no harm, or ye shall be seized with a grievous punishment.		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৭৩)
33 দাম্ভিকরা বললঃ তোমরা যে বিষয়ে বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছ, আমরা তাতে অস্বীকৃত।
The Arrogant party said: "For our part, we reject what ye believe in."		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৭৬)
34 অতঃপর তারা উষ্ট্রীকে হত্যা করল এবং স্বীয় প্রতিপালকের আদেশ অমান্য করল। তারা বললঃ হে ছালেহ, নিয়ে এস যদ্দ্বারা আমাদেরকে ভয় দেখাতে, যদি তুমি রসূল হয়ে থাক।
Then they ham-strung the she-camel, and insolently defied the order of their Lord, saying: "O Salih! bring about thy threats, if thou art a messenger (of Allah)!"		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৭৭)
35 ছালেহ তাদের কাছ থেকে প্রস্থান করলো এবং বললঃ হে আমার সম্প্রদায়, আমি তোমাদের কাছে স্বীয় প্রতিপালকের পয়গাম পৌছিয়েছি এবং তোমাদের মঙ্গল কামনা করেছি কিন্তু তোমরা মঙ্গলকাঙ্খীদেরকে ভালবাস না।
So Salih left them, saying: "O my people! I did indeed convey to you the message for which I was sent by my Lord: I gave you good counsel, but ye love not good counsellors!"		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৭৯)
36 এবং আমি লূতকে প্রেরণ করেছি। যখন সে স্বীয় সম্প্রদায়কে বললঃ তোমরা কি এমন অশ্লীল কাজ করছ, যা তোমাদের পূর্বে সারা বিশ্বের কেউ করেনি ?
We also (sent) Lut: He said to his people: "Do ye commit lewdness such as no people in creation (ever) committed before you?		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৮০)
37 আমি মাদইয়ানের প্রতি তাদের ভাই শোয়ায়েবকে প্রেরণ করেছি। সে বললঃ হে আমার সম্প্রদায়! তোমরা আল্লাহর এবাদত কর। তিনি ব্যতীত তোমাদের কোন উপাস্য নেই। তোমাদের কাছে তোমাদের প্রতিপালকের পক্ষ থেকে প্রমাণ এসে গেছে। অতএব তোমরা মাপ ও ওজন পূর্ন কর এবং মানুষকে তাদের দ্রব্যদি কম দিয়ো না এবং ভুপৃষ্টের সংস্কার সাধন করার পর তাতে অনর্থ সৃষ্টি করো না। এই হল তোমাদের জন্যে কল্যাণকর, যদি তোমরা বিশ্বাসী হও।
To the Madyan people We sent Shu'aib, one of their own brethren: he said: "O my people! worship Allah; Ye have no other god but Him. Now hath come unto you a clear (Sign) from your Lord! Give just measure and weight, nor withhold from the people the things that are their due; and do no mischief on the earth after it has been set in order: that will be best for you, if ye have Faith.		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৮৫)
38 তার সম্প্রদায়ের দাম্ভিক সর্দাররা বললঃ হে শোয়ায়েব, আমরা অবশ্যই তোমাকে এবং তোমার সাথে বিশ্বাস স্থাপনকারীদেরকে শহর থেকে বের করে দেব অথবা তোমরা আমাদের ধর্মে প্রত্যাবর্তন করবে। শোয়ায়েব বললঃ আমরা অপছন্দ করলেও কি ?
The leaders, the arrogant party among his people, said: "O Shu'aib! we shall certainly drive thee out of our city - (thee) and those who believe with thee; or else ye (thou and they) shall have to return to our ways and religion." He said: "What! even though we do detest (them)?		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৮৮)
39 তার সম্প্রদায়ের কাফের সর্দাররা বললঃ যদি তোমরা শোয়ায়েবের অনুসরণ কর, তবে নিশ্চিতই ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হবে।
The leaders, the unbelievers among his people, said: "If ye follow Shu'aib, be sure then ye are ruined!"		 (আল আ'রাফ:

40 অনন্তর সে তাদের কাছ থেকে প্রস্থান করল এবং বললঃ হে আমার সম্প্রদায়, আমি তোমাদেরকে প্রতিপালকের পয়গাম পৌছে দিয়েছি এবং তোমাদের হিত কামনা করেছি। এখন আমি কাফেরদের জন্যে কেন দুঃখ করব।
So Shu'aib left them, saying: "O my people! I did indeed convey to you the messages for which I was sent by my Lord: I gave you good counsel, but how shall I lament over a people who refuse to believe!"		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৯৩)
41 আর যখন তাদের মধ্যে থেকে এক সম্প্রদায় বলল, কেন সে লোকদের সদুপদেশ দিচ্ছেন, যাদেরকে আল্লাহ ধ্বংস করে দিতে চান কিংবা আযাব দিতে চান কঠিন আযাব? সে বললঃ তোমাদের পালনকর্তার সামনে দোষ ফুরাবার জন্য এবং এজন্য যেন তারা ভীত হয়।
When some of them said: "Why do ye preach to a people whom Allah will destroy or visit with a terrible punishment?"- said the preachers:" To discharge our duty to your Lord, and perchance they may fear Him."		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৬৪)
42 যখন ইউসুফ পিতাকে বললঃ পিতা, আমি স্বপ্নে দেখেছি এগারটি নক্ষত্রকে। সুর্যকে এবং চন্দ্রকে। আমি তাদেরকে আমার উদ্দেশে সেজদা করতে দেখেছি।
Behold! Joseph said to his father: "O my father! I did see eleven stars and the sun and the moon: I saw them prostrate themselves to me!"		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৪)
43 যখন তারা বললঃ অবশ্যই ইউসুফ ও তাঁর ভাই আমাদের পিতার কাছে আমাদের চাইতে অধিক প্রিয় অথচ আমরা একটা সংহত শক্তি বিশেষ। নিশ্চয় আমাদের পিতা স্পষ্ট ভ্রান্তিতে রয়েছেন।
They said: "Truly Joseph and his brother are loved more by our father than we: But we are a goodly body! really our father is obviously wandering (in his mind)!		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৮)
44 তারা বললঃ পিতাঃ ব্যাপার কি, আপনি ইউসুফের ব্যাপারে আমাদেরকে বিশ্বাস করেন না ? আমরা তো তার হিতাকাংখী।
They said: "O our father! why dost thou not trust us with Joseph,- seeing we are indeed his sincere well-wishers?		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ১১)
45 তারা বললঃ আমরা একটি ভারী দল থাকা সত্ত্বেও যদি ব্যাঘ্র তাকে খেয়ে ফেলে, তবে আমরা সবই হারালাম।
They said: "If the wolf were to devour him while we are (so large) a party, then should we indeed (first) have perished ourselves!"		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৪)
46 তারা বললঃ পিতাঃ আমরা দৌড় প্রতিযোগিতা করতে গিয়েছিলাম এবং ইউসুফকে আসবাব-পত্রের কাছে রেখে গিয়েছিলাম। অতঃপর তাকে বাঘে খেয়ে ফেলেছে। আপনি তো আমাদেরকে বিশ্বাস করবেন না, যদিও আমরা সত্যবাদী।
They said: "O our father! We went racing with one another, and left Joseph with our things; and the wolf devoured him.... But thou wilt never believe us even though we tell the truth."		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৭)
47 এবং একটি কাফেলা এল। অতঃপর তাদের পানি সংগ্রাহককে প্রেরণ করল। সে বালতি ফেলল। বললঃ কি আনন্দের কথা। এ তো একটি কিশোর তারা তাকে পন্যদ্রব্য গণ্য করে গোপন করে ফেলল। আল্লাহ খুব জানেন যা কিছু তারা করেছিল।
Then there came a caravan of travellers: they sent their water-carrier (for water), and he let down his bucket (into the well)... He said: "Ah there! Good news! Here is a (fine) young man!" So they concealed him as a treasure! But Allah knoweth well all that they do!		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৯)
48 মিসরে যে ব্যক্তি তাকে ক্রয় করল, সে তার স্ত্রীকে বললঃ একে সম্মানে রাখ। সম্ভবতঃ সে আমাদের কাছে আসবে অথবা আমরা তাকে পুত্ররূপে গ্রহণ করে নেব। এমনিভাবে আমি ইউসুফকে এদেশে প্রতিষ্ঠিত করলাম এবং এ জন্যে যে তাকে বাক্যাদির পূর্ণ মর্ম অনুধাবনের পদ্ধতি বিষয়ে শিক্ষা দেই। আল্লাহ নিজ কাজে প্রবল থাকেন, কিন্তু অধিকাংশ লোক তা জানে না।
The man in Egypt who bought him, said to his wife: "Make his stay (among us) honourable: may be he will bring us much good, or we shall adopt him as a son." Thus did We establish Joseph in the land, that We might teach him the interpretation of stories (and events). And Allah hath full power and control over His affairs; but most among mankind know it not.		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ২১)
49 আর সে যে মহিলার ঘরে ছিল, ঐ মহিলা তাকে ফুসলাতে লাগল এবং দরজাসমূহ বন্ধ করে দিল। সে মহিলা বললঃ শুন! তোমাকে বলছি, এদিকে আস, সে বললঃ আল্লাহ রক্ষা করুন; তোমার স্বামী আমার মালিক। তিনি আমাকে সযত্নে থাকতে দিয়েছেন। নিশ্চয় সীমা লংঘনকারীগণ সফল হয় না।
But she in whose house he was, sought to seduce him from his (true) self: she fastened the doors, and said: "Now come, thou (dear one)!" He said: "Allah forbid! truly (thy husband) is my lord! he made my sojourn agreeable! truly to no good come those who do wrong!"		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ২৩)
50 তারা উভয়ে ছুটে দরজার দিকে গেল এবং মহিলা ইউসুফের জামা পিছন দিক থেকে ছিঁড়ে ফেলল। উভয়ে মহিলার স্বামীকে দরজার কাছে পেল। মহিলা বললঃ যে ব্যক্তি তোমার পরিজনের সাথে কুকর্মের ইচ্ছা করে, তাকে কারাগারে পাঠানো অথবা অন্য কোন যন্ত্রণাদায়ক শাস্তি দেয়া ছাড়া তার আর কি শাস্তি হতে পারে?
So they both raced each other to the door, and she tore his shirt from the back: they both found her lord near the door. She said: "What is the (fitting) punishment for one who formed an evil design against thy wife, but prison or a grievous chastisement?"		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ২৫)
51 যখন সে তাদের চক্রান্ত শুনল, তখন তাদেরকে ডেকে পাঠাল এবং তাদের জন্যে একটি ভোজ সভার আয়োজন করল। সে তাদের প্রত্যেককে একটি ছুরি দিয়ে বললঃ ইউসুফ এদের সামনে চলে এস। যখন তারা তাকে দেখল, হতভম্ব হয়ে গেল এবং আপন হাত কেটে ফেলল। তারা বললঃ কখনই নয় এ ব্যক্তি মানব নয়। এ তো কোন মহান ফেরেশতা।
When she heard of their malicious talk, she sent for them and prepared a banquet for them: she gave each of them a knife: and she said (to Joseph), "Come out before them." When they saw him, they did extol him, and (in their amazement) cut their hands: they said, "Allah preserve us! no mortal is this! this is none other than a noble angel!"		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৩১)
52 মহিলা বললঃ এ ঐ ব্যক্তি, যার জন্যে তোমরা আমাকে ভৎর্সনা করছিলে। আমি ওরই মন জয় করতে চেয়েছিলাম। কিন্তু সে নিজেকে নিবৃত্ত রেখেছে। আর আমি যা আদেশ দেই, সে যদি তা না করে, তবে অবশ্যই সে কারাগারে প্রেরিত হবে এবং লাঞ্চিত হবে।
She said: "There before you is the man about whom ye did blame me! I did seek to seduce him from his (true) self but he did firmly save himself guiltless!.... and now, if he doth not my bidding, he shall certainly be cast into prison, and (what is more) be of the company of the vilest!"		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৩২)
53 ইউসুফ বললঃ হে পালনকর্তা তারা আমাকে যে কাজের দিকে আহবান করে, তার চাইতে আমি কারাগারই পছন্দ করি। যদি আপনি তাদের চক্রান্ত আমার উপর থেকে প্রতিহত না করেন, তবে আমি তাদের প্রতি আকৃষ্ট হয়ে পড়ব এবং অজ্ঞদের অন্তর্ভূক্ত হয়ে যাব।
He said: "O my Lord! the prison is more to my liking than that to which they invite me: Unless Thou turn away their snare from me, I should (in my youthful folly) feel inclined towards them and join the ranks of the ignorant."		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৩৩)
54 তাঁর সাথে কারাগারে দুজন যুবক প্রবেশ করল। তাদের একজন বললঃ আমি স্বপ্নে দেখলাম যে, আমি মদ নিঙড়াচ্ছি। অপরজন বললঃ আমি দেখলাম যে, নিজ মাথায় রুটি বহন করছি। তা থেকে পাখী ঠুকরিয়ে খাচ্ছে। আমাদের কে এর ব্যাখ্যা বলুন। আমরা আপনাকে সৎকর্মশীল দেখতে পাচ্ছি।
Now with him there came into the prison two young men. Said one of them: "I see myself (in a dream) pressing wine." said the other: "I see myself (in a dream) carrying bread on my head, and birds are eating, thereof." "Tell us" (they said) "The truth and meaning thereof: for we see thou art one that doth good (to all)."		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৩৬)
55 বাদশাহ বললঃ আমি স্বপ্নে দেখলাম, সাতটি মোটাতাজা গাভী-এদেরকে সাতটি শীর্ণ গাভী খেয়ে যাচ্ছে এবং সাতটি সবুজ শীষ ও অন্যগুলো শুষ্ক। হে পরিষদবর্গ! তোমরা আমাকে আমার স্বপ্নের ব্যাখ্যা বল, যদি তোমরা স্বপ্নের ব্যাখ্যায় পারদর্শী হয়ে থাক।
The king (of Egypt) said: "I do see (in a vision) seven fat kine, whom seven lean ones devour, and seven green ears of corn, and seven (others) withered. O ye chiefs! Expound to me my vision if it be that ye can interpret visions."		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৪৩)
56 তারা বললঃ এটা কল্পনাপ্রসূত স্বপ্ন। এরূপ স্বপ্নের ব্যাখ্যা আমাদের জানা নেই।
They said: "A confused medley of dreams: and we are not skilled in the interpretation of dreams."		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৪৪)
57 সে তথায় পৌঁছে বললঃ হে ইউসুফ! হে সত্যবাদী! সাতটি মোটাতাজা গাভী-তাদেরকে খাচ্ছে সাতটি শীর্ণ গাভী এবং সাতটি সবুজ শীর্ষ ও অন্যগুলো শুষ্ক; আপনি আমাদেরকে এ স্বপ্ন সম্পর্কে পথনির্দেশ প্রদান করুনঃ যাতে আমি তাদের কাছে ফিরে গিয়ে তাদের অবগত করাতে পারি।
"O Joseph!" (he said) "O man of truth! Expound to us (the dream) of seven fat kine whom seven lean ones devour, and of seven green ears of corn and (seven) others withered: that I may return to the people, and that they may understand."		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৪৬)
58 বললঃ তোমরা সাত বছর উত্তম রূপে চাষাবাদ করবে। অতঃপর যা কাটবে, তার মধ্যে যে সামান্য পরিমাণ তোমরা খাবে তা ছাড়া অবশিষ্ট শস্য শীষ সমেত রেখে দেবে।
(Joseph) said: "For seven years shall ye diligently sow as is your wont: and the harvests that ye reap, ye shall leave them in the ear,- except a little, of which ye shall eat.		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৪৭)
59 বাদশাহ বললঃ ফিরে যাও তোমাদের প্রভুর কাছে এবং জিজ্ঞেস কর তাকে ঐ মহিলার স্বরূপ কি, যারা স্বীয় হস্ত কর্তন করেছিল! আমার পালনকর্তা তো তাদের ছলনা সবই জানেন।
So the king said: "Bring ye him unto me." But when the messenger came to him, (Joseph) said: "Go thou back to thy lord, and ask him, 'What is the state of mind of the ladies who cut their hands'? For my Lord is certainly well aware of their snare."		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৫০)
60 বাদশাহ মহিলাদেরকে বললেনঃ তোমাদের হাল-হাকিকত কি, যখন তোমরা ইউসুফকে আত্মসংবরণ থেকে ফুসলিয়েছিলে? তারা বললঃ আল্লাহ মহান, আমরা তার সম্পর্কে মন্দ কিছু জানি না। আযীয-পত্মি বললঃ এখন সত্য কথা প্রকাশ হয়ে গেছে। আমিই তাকে আত্মসংবরণ থেকে ফুসলিয়েছিলাম এবং সে সত্যবাদী।
(The king) said (to the ladies): "What was your affair when ye did seek to seduce Joseph from his (true) self?" The ladies said: "Allah preserve us! no evil know we against him!" Said the 'Aziz's wife: "Now is the truth manifest (to all): it was I who sought to seduce him from his (true) self: He is indeed of those who are (ever) true (and virtuous).		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৫১)
61 বাদশাহ বললঃ তাকে আমার কাছে নিয়ে এসো। আমি তাকে নিজের বিশ্বস্ত সহচর করে রাখব। অতঃপর যখন তার সাথে মতবিনিময় করল, তখন বললঃ নিশ্চয়ই আপনি আমার কাছে আজ থেকে বিশ্বস্ত হিসাবে মর্যাদার স্থান লাভ করেছেন।
So the king said: "Bring him unto me; I will take him specially to serve about my own person." Therefore when he had spoken to him, he said: "Be assured this day, thou art, before our own presence, with rank firmly established, and fidelity fully proved!		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৫৪)
62 ইউসুফ বললঃ আমাকে দেশের ধন-ভান্ডারে নিযুক্ত করুন। আমি বিশ্বস্ত রক্ষক ও অধিক জ্ঞানবান।
(Joseph) said: "Set me over the store-houses of the land: I will indeed guard them, as one that knows (their importance)."		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৫৫)
63 এবং সে যখন তাদেরকে তাদের রসদ প্রস্তুত করে দিল, তখন সে বললঃ তোমাদের বৈমাত্রেয় ভাইকে আমার কাছে নিয়ে এসো। তোমরা কি দেখ না যে, আমি পুরা মাপ দেই এবং মেহমানদেরকে উত্তম সমাদার করি?
And when he had furnished them forth with provisions (suitable) for them, he said: "Bring unto me a brother ye have, of the same father as yourselves, (but a different mother): see ye not that I pay out full measure, and that I do provide the best hospitality?		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৫৯)
64 তারা বললঃ আমরা তার সম্পর্কে তার পিতাকে সম্মত করার চেষ্টা করব এবং আমাদেরকে একাজ করতেই হবে।
They said: "We shall certainly seek to get our wish about him from his father: Indeed we shall do it."		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৬১)
65 এবং সে ভৃত্যদেরকে বললঃ তাদের পণ্যমূল্য তাদের রসদ-পত্রের মধ্যে রেখে দাও-সম্ভবতঃ তারা গৃহে পৌঁছে তা বুঝতে পারবে, সম্ভবতঃ তারা পুনর্বার আসবে।
And (Joseph) told his servants to put their stock-in-trade (with which they had bartered) into their saddle-bags, so they should know it only when they returned to their people, in order that they might come back.		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৬২)
66 তারা যখন তাদের পিতার কাছে ফিরে এল তখন বললঃ হে আমাদের পিতা, আমাদের জন্যে খাদ্য শস্যের বরাদ্দ নিষিদ্ধ করা হয়েছে। অতএব আপনি আমাদের ভাইকে আমাদের সাথে প্রেরণ করুন; যাতে আমরা খাদ্য শস্যের বরাদ্দ আনতে পারি এবং আমরা অবশ্যই তার পুরোপুরি হেফাযত করব।
Now when they returned to their father, they said: "O our father! No more measure of grain shall we get (unless we take our brother): So send our brother with us, that we may get our measure; and we will indeed take every care of him."		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৬৩)
67 এবং যখন তারা আসবাবপত্র খুলল, তখন দেখতে পেল যে, তাদেরকে তাদের পন্যমুল্য ফেরত দেয়া হয়েছে। তারা বললঃ হে আমাদের পিতা, আমরা আর কি চাইতে পারি। এই আমাদের প্রদত্ত পন্যমূল্য, আমাদেরকে ফেরত দেয়া হয়েছে। এখন আমরা আবার আমাদের পরিবারবর্গের জন্যে রসদ আনব এবং আমাদের ভাইয়ের দেখাশোনা করব এবং এক এক উটের বরাদ্দ খাদ্যশস্য আমরা অতিরিক্ত আনব। ঐ বরাদ্দ সহজ।
Then when they opened their baggage, they found their stock-in-trade had been returned to them. They said: "O our father! What (more) can we desire? this our stock-in-trade has been returned to us: so we shall get (more) food for our family; We shall take care of our brother; and add (at the same time) a full camel's load (of grain to our provisions). This is but a small quantity.		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৬৫)
68 যখন তারা ইউসুফের কাছে উপস্থিত হল, তখন সে আপন ভ্রাতাকে নিজের কাছে রাখল। বললঃ নিশ্চই আমি তোমার সহোদর। অতএব তাদের কৃতকর্মের জন্যে দুঃখ করো না।
Now when they came into Joseph's presence, he received his (full) brother to stay with him. He said (to him): "Behold! I am thy (own) brother; so grieve not at aught of their doings."		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৬৯)
69 অতঃপর যখন ইউসুফ তাদের রসদপত্র প্রস্তুত করে দিল, তখন পানপাত্র আপন ভাইয়ের রসদের মধ্যে রেখে দিল। অতঃপর একজন ঘোষক ডেকে বললঃ হে কাফেলার লোকজন, তোমরা অবশ্যই চোর।
At length when he had furnished them forth with provisions (suitable) for them, he put the drinking cup into his brother's saddle-bag. Then shouted out a crier: "O ye (in) the caravan! behold! ye are thieves, without doubt!"		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৭০)
70 তারা ওদের দিকে মুখ করে বললঃ তোমাদের কি হারিয়েছে?
They said, turning towards them: "What is it that ye miss?"		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৭১)
71 তারা বললঃ আমরা বাদশাহর পানপাত্র হারিয়েছি এবং যে কেউ এটা এনে দেবে সে এক উটের বোঝা পরিমাণ মাল পাবে এবং আমি এর যামিন।
They said: "We miss the great beaker of the king; for him who produces it, is (the reward of) a camel load; I will be bound by it."		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৭২)
72 তারা বললঃ আল্লাহর কসম, তোমরা তো জান, আমরা অনর্থ ঘটাতে এদেশে আসিনি এবং আমরা কখনও চোর ছিলাম না।
(The brothers) said: "By Allah! well ye know that we came not to make mischief in the land, and we are no thieves!"		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৭৩)
73 তারা বললঃ যদি তোমরা মিথ্যাবাদী হও, তবে যে, চুরি করেছে তার কি শাস্তি?
(The Egyptians) said: "What then shall be the penalty of this, if ye are (proved) to have lied?"		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৭৪)
74 তারা বললঃ এর শাস্তি এই যে, যার রসদপত্র থেকে তা পাওয়া যাবে, এর প্রতিদানে সে দাসত্বে যাবে। আমরা যালেমদেরকে এভাবেই শাস্তি দেই।
They said: "The penalty should be that he in whose saddle-bag it is found, should be held (as bondman) to atone for the (crime). Thus it is we punish the wrong-doers!"		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৭৫)
75 অতঃপর যখন তারা তাঁর কাছ থেকে নিরাশ হয়ে গেল, তখন পরামর্শের জন্যে এখানে বসল। তাদের জ্যেষ্ঠ ভাই বললঃ তোমরা কি জান না যে, পিতা তোমাদের কাছ থেকে আল্লাহর নামে অঙ্গীকার নিয়েছেন এবং পূর্বে ইউসুফের ব্যাপারেও তোমরা অন্যায় করেছো? অতএব আমি তো কিছুতেই এদেশ ত্যাগ করব না, যে পর্যন্ত না পিতা আমাকে আদেশ দেন অথবা আল্লাহ আমার পক্ষে কোন ব্যবস্থা করে দেন। তিনিই সর্বোত্তম ব্যবস্থাপক।
Now when they saw no hope of his (yielding), they held a conference in private. The leader among them said: "Know ye not that your father did take an oath from you in Allah's name, and how, before this, ye did fail in your duty with Joseph? Therefore will I not leave this land until my father permits me, or Allah commands me; and He is the best to command.		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৮০)
76 অতঃপর যখন তারা ইউসুফের কাছে পৌঁছল তখন বললঃ হে আযীয, আমরা ও আমাদের পরিবারবর্গ কষ্টের সম্মুখীন হয়ে পড়েছি এবং আমরা অপর্যাপ্ত পুঁজি নিয়ে এসেছি। অতএব আপনি আমাদের পুরোপুরি বরাদ্দ দিন এবং আমাদের কে দান করুন। আল্লাহ দাতাদেরকে প্রতিদান দিয়ে থাকেন।
Then, when they came (back) into (Joseph's) presence they said: "O exalted one! distress has seized us and our family: we have (now) brought but scanty capital: so pay us full measure, (we pray thee), and treat it as charity to us: for Allah doth reward the charitable."		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৮৮)
77 তারা বললঃ আল্লাহর কসম, আমাদের চাইতে আল্লাহ তোমাকে পছন্দ করেছেন এবং আমরা অবশ্যই অপরাধী ছিলাম।
They said: "By Allah! indeed has Allah preferred thee above us, and we certainly have been guilty of sin!"		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৯১)
78 লোকেরা বললঃ আল্লাহর কসম, আপনি তো সেই পুরানো ভ্রান্তিতেই পড়ে আছেন।
They said: "By Allah! truly thou art in thine old wandering mind."		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৯৫)
79 তারা বললঃ পিতা আমাদের অপরাধ ক্ষমা করান। নিশ্চয় আমরা অপরাধী ছিলাম।
They said: "O our father! ask for us forgiveness for our sins, for we were truly at fault."		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৯৭)
80 তারা বললঃ হে ঐ ব্যক্তি, যার প্রতি কোরআন নাযিল হয়েছে, আপনি তো একজন উম্মাদ।
They say: "O thou to whom the Message is being revealed! truly thou art mad (or possessed)!		 (হিজর:
আয়াতঃ ৬)
81 বললঃ আমি এমন নই যে, একজন মানবকে সেজদা করব, যাকে আপনি পচা কর্দম থেকে তৈরী ঠনঠনে বিশুষ্ক মাটি দ্বারা সৃষ্টি করেছেন।
(Iblis) said: "I am not one to prostrate myself to man, whom Thou didst create from sounding clay, from mud moulded into shape."		 (হিজর:

82 সে বললঃ হে আমার পালনকর্তা, আপনি আমাকে পুনরুত্থান দিবস পর্যন্ত অবকাশ দিন।
(Iblis) said: "O my Lord! give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are raised."		 (হিজর:
আয়াতঃ ৩৬)
83 সে বললঃ হে আমার পলনকর্তা, আপনি যেমন আমাকে পথ ভ্রষ্ট করেছেন, আমিও তাদের সবাইকে পৃথিবীতে নানা সৌন্দর্যে আকৃষ্ট করব এবং তাদের সবাইকে পথ ভ্রষ্ঠ করে দেব।
(Iblis) said: "O my Lord! because Thou hast put me in the wrong, I will make (wrong) fair-seeming to them on the earth, and I will put them all in the wrong,-		 (হিজর:
আয়াতঃ ৩৯)
84 যখন তারা তাঁর গৃহে আগমন করল এবং বললঃ সালাম। তিনি বললেনঃ আমরা তোমাদের ব্যাপারে ভীত।
When they entered his presence and said, "Peace!" He said, "We feel afraid of you!"		 (হিজর:
আয়াতঃ ৫২)
85 তারা বললঃ ভয় করবেন না। আমরা আপনাকে একজন জ্ঞানবান ছেলে-সন্তানের সুসংবাদ দিচ্ছি।
They said: "Fear not! We give thee glad tidings of a son endowed with wisdom."		 (হিজর:
আয়াতঃ ৫৩)
86 তারা বললঃ আমরা আপনাকে সত্য সু-সংবাদ দিচ্ছি! অতএব আপনি নিরাশ হবেন না।
They said: "We give thee glad tidings in truth: be not then in despair!"		 (হিজর:
আয়াতঃ ৫৫)
87 তারা বললঃ আমরা একটি অপরাধী সম্প্রদায়ের প্রতি প্রেরিত হয়েছি।
They said: "We have been sent to a people (deep) in sin,		 (হিজর:
আয়াতঃ ৫৮)
88 তারা বললঃ না বরং আমরা আপনার কাছে ঐ বস্তু নিয়ে এসেছি, যে সম্পর্কে তারা বিবাদ করত।
They said: "Yea, we have come to thee to accomplish that of which they doubt.		 (হিজর:
আয়াতঃ ৬৩)
89 তার বললঃ আমরা কি আপনাকে জগৎদ্বাসীর সমর্থন করতে নিষেধ করিনি।
They said: "Did we not forbid thee (to speak) for all and sundry?"		 (হিজর:
আয়াতঃ ৭০)
90 মুশরিকরা বললঃ যদি আল্লাহ চাইতেন, তবে আমরা তাঁকে ছাড়া কারও এবাদত করতাম না এবং আমাদের পিতৃপুরুষেরাও করত না এবং তাঁর নির্দেশ ছাড়া কোন বস্তুই আমরা হারাম করতাম না। তাদের পূর্ববর্তীরা এমনই করেছে। রাসূলের দায়িত্ব তো শুধুমাত্র সুস্পষ্ট বাণী পৌছিয়ে দেয়া।
The worshippers of false gods say: "If Allah had so willed, we should not have worshipped aught but Him - neither we nor our fathers,- nor should we have prescribed prohibitions other than His." So did those who went before them. But what is the mission of messengers but to preach the Clear Message?		 (নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ৩৫)
91 স্মরণ কর, যখন আমি ফেরেশতাদেরকে বললামঃ আদমকে সেজদা কর, তখন ইবলীস ব্যতীত সবাই সেজদায় পড়ে গেল। কিন্তু সে বললঃ আমি কি এমন ব্যক্তিকে সেজদা করব, যাকে আপনি মাটির দ্বারা সৃষ্টি করেছেন?
Behold! We said to the angels: "Bow down unto Adam": They bowed down except Iblis: He said, "Shall I bow down to one whom Thou didst create from clay?"		 (বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ৬১)
92 সে বললঃ দেখুন তো, এনা সে ব্যক্তি, যাকে আপনি আমার চাইতেও উচ্চ মার্যাদা দিয়ে দিয়েছেন। যদি আপনি আমাকে কেয়ামত দিবস পর্যন্ত সময় দেন, তবে আমি সামান্য সংখ্যক ছাড়া তার বংশধরদেরকে সমূলে নষ্ট করে দেব।
He said: "Seest Thou? this is the one whom Thou hast honoured above me! If Thou wilt but respite me to the Day of Judgment, I will surely bring his descendants under my sway - all but a few!"		 (বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ৬২)
93 আপনি বণী-ইসরাঈলকে জিজ্ঞেস করুন, আমি মূসাকে নয়টি প্রকাশ্য নিদর্শন দান করেছি। যখন তিনি তাদের কাছে আগমন করেন, ফেরাউন তাকে বললঃ হে মূসা, আমার ধারনায় তুমি তো জাদুগ্রস্থ।
To Moses We did give Nine Clear Signs: As the Children of Israel: when he came to them, Pharaoh said to him: "O Moses! I consider thee, indeed, to have been worked upon by sorcery!		 (বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ১০১)
94 আমি তাদের মন দৃঢ় করেছিলাম, যখন তারা উঠে দাঁড়িয়েছিল। অতঃপর তারা বললঃ আমাদের পালনকর্তা আসমান ও যমীনের পালনকর্তা আমরা কখনও তার পরিবর্তে অন্য কোন উপাস্যকে আহবান করব না। যদি করি, তবে তা অত্যন্ত গর্হিত কাজ হবে।
We gave strength to their hearts: Behold, they stood up and said: "Our Lord is the Lord of the heavens and of the earth: never shall we call upon any god other than Him: if we did, we should indeed have uttered an enormity!		 (কাহফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৪)
95 আমি এমনি ভাবে তাদেরকে জাগ্রত করলাম, যাতে তারা পরস্পর জিজ্ঞাসাবাদ করে। তাদের একজন বললঃ তোমরা কতকাল অবস্থান করেছ? তাদের কেউ বললঃ একদিন অথবা একদিনের কিছু অংশ অবস্থান করছি। কেউ কেউ বললঃ তোমাদের পালনকর্তাই ভাল জানেন তোমরা কতকাল অবস্থান করেছ। এখন তোমাদের একজনকে তোমাদের এই মুদ্রাসহ শহরে প্রেরণ কর; সে যেন দেখে কোন খাদ্য পবিত্র। অতঃপর তা থেকে যেন কিছু খাদ্য নিয়ে আসে তোমাদের জন্য; সে যেন নম্রতা সহকারে যায় ও কিছুতেই যেন তোমাদের খবর কাউকে না জানায়।
Such (being their state), we raised them up (from sleep), that they might question each other. Said one of them, "How long have ye stayed (here)?" They said, "We have stayed (perhaps) a day, or part of a day." (At length) they (all) said, "Allah (alone) knows best how long ye have stayed here.... Now send ye then one of you with this money of yours to the town: let him find out which is the best food (to be had) and bring some to you, that (ye may) satisfy your hunger therewith: And let him behave with care and courtesy, and let him not inform any one about you.		 (কাহফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৯)
96 এমনিভাবে আমি তাদের খবর প্রকাশ করে দিলাম, যাতে তারা জ্ঞাত হয় যে, আল্লাহর ওয়াদা সত্য এবং কেয়ামতে কোন সন্দেহ নেই। যখন তারা নিজেদের কর্তব্য বিষয়ে পরস্পর বিতর্ক করছিল, তখন তারা বললঃ তাদের উপর সৌধ নির্মাণ কর। তাদের পালনকর্তা তাদের বিষয়ে ভাল জানেন। তাদের কর্তব্য বিষয়ে যাদের মত প্রবল হল, তারা বললঃ আমরা অবশ্যই তাদের স্থানে মসজিদ নির্মান করব।
Thus did We make their case known to the people, that they might know that the promise of Allah is true, and that there can be no doubt about the Hour of Judgment. Behold, they dispute among themselves as to their affair. (Some) said, "Construct a building over them": Their Lord knows best about them: those who prevailed over their affair said, "Let us surely build a place of worship over them."		 (কাহফ:
আয়াতঃ ২১)
97 সে ফল পেল। অতঃপর কথা প্রসঙ্গে সঙ্গীকে বললঃ আমার ধন-সম্পদ তোমার চাইতে বেশী এবং জনবলে আমি অধিক শক্তিশালী।
(Abundant) was the produce this man had: he said to his companion, in the course of a mutual argument: "more wealth have I than you, and more honour and power in (my following of) men."		 (কাহফ:
আয়াতঃ ৩৪)
98 নিজের প্রতি জুলুম করে সে তার বাগানে প্রবেশ করল। সে বললঃ আমার মনে হয় না যে, এ বাগান কখনও ধ্বংস হয়ে যাবে।
He went into his garden in a state (of mind) unjust to his soul: He said, "I deem not that this will ever perish,		 (কাহফ:
আয়াতঃ ৩৫)
99 তার সঙ্গী তাকে কথা প্রসঙ্গে বললঃ তুমি তাঁকে অস্বীকার করছ, যিনি তোমাকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন মাটি থেকে, অতঃপর বীর্য থেকে, অতঃপর র্পূনাঙ্গ করেছেন তোমাকে মানবাকৃতিতে?
His companion said to him, in the course of the argument with him: "Dost thou deny Him Who created thee out of dust, then out of a sperm-drop, then fashioned thee into a man?		 (কাহফ:
আয়াতঃ ৩৭)
100 সে বললঃ আপনি কি লক্ষ্য করেছেন, আমরা যখন প্রস্তর খন্ডে আশ্রয় নিয়েছিলাম, তখন আমি মাছের কথা ভুলে গিয়েছিলাম। শয়তানই আমাকে একথা স্মরণ রাখতে ভুলিয়ে দিয়েছিল। মাছটি আশ্চর্য জনক ভাবে সমুদ্রে নিজের পথ করে নিয়েছে।
He replied: "Sawest thou (what happened) when we betook ourselves to the rock? I did indeed forget (about) the Fish: none but Satan made me forget to tell (you) about it: it took its course through the sea in a marvellous way!"		 (কাহফ:
আয়াতঃ ৬৩)
101 তারা বললঃ হে যুলকারনাইন, ইয়াজুজ ও মাজুজ দেশে অশান্তি সৃষ্টি করেছে। আপনি বললে আমরা আপনার জন্যে কিছু কর ধার্য করব এই শর্তে যে, আপনি আমাদের ও তাদের মধ্যে একটি প্রাচীর নির্মাণ করে দেবেন।
They said: "O Zul-qarnain! the Gog and Magog (People) do great mischief on earth: shall we then render thee tribute in order that thou mightest erect a barrier between us and them?		 (কাহফ:
আয়াতঃ ৯৪)
102 সে বললঃ হে আমার পালনকর্তা আমার অস্থি বয়স-ভারাবনত হয়েছে; বার্ধক্যে মস্তক সুশুভ্র হয়েছে; হে আমার পালনকর্তা! আপনাকে ডেকে আমি কখনও বিফলমনোরথ হইনি।
Praying: "O my Lord! infirm indeed are my bones, and the hair of my head doth glisten with grey: but never am I unblest, O my Lord, in my prayer to Thee!		 (মারইয়াম:
আয়াতঃ ৪)
103 সে বললঃ হে আমার পালনকর্তা কেমন করে আমার পুত্র হবে অথচ আমার স্ত্রী যে বন্ধ্যা, আর আমিও যে বার্ধক্যের শেষ প্রান্তে উপনীত।
He said: "O my Lord! How shall I have a son, when my wife is barren and I have grown quite decrepit from old age?"		 (মারইয়াম:
আয়াতঃ ৮)
104 সে বললঃ হে আমার পালনকর্তা, আমাকে একটি নির্দশন দিন। তিনি বললেন তোমার নিদর্শন এই যে, তুমি সুস্থ অবস্থায় তিন দিন মানুষের সাথে কথাবার্তা বলবে না।
(Zakariya) said: "O my Lord! give me a Sign." "Thy Sign," was the answer, "Shall be that thou shalt speak to no man for three nights, although thou art not dumb."		 (মারইয়াম:
আয়াতঃ ১০)
105 অতঃপর সে কক্ষ থেকে বের হয়ে তার সম্প্রদায়ের কাছে এল এবং ইঙ্গিতে তাদেরকে সকাল সন্ধ্যায় আল্লাহকে স্মরণ করতে বললঃ
So Zakariya came out to his people from him chamber: He told them by signs to celebrate Allah's praises in the morning and in the evening.		 (মারইয়াম:
আয়াতঃ ১১)
106 মারইয়াম বললঃ আমি তোমা থেকে দয়াময়ের আশ্রয় প্রার্থনা করি যদি তুমি আল্লাহভীরু হও।
She said: "I seek refuge from thee to (Allah) Most Gracious: (come not near) if thou dost fear Allah."		 (মারইয়াম:
আয়াতঃ ১৮)
107 সে বললঃ আমি তো শুধু তোমার পালনকর্তা প্রেরিত, যাতে তোমাকে এক পবিত্র পুত্র দান করে যাব।
He said: "Nay, I am only a messenger from thy Lord, (to announce) to thee the gift of a holy son.		 (মারইয়াম:
আয়াতঃ ১৯)
108 মরিইয়াম বললঃ কিরূপে আমার পুত্র হবে, যখন কোন মানব আমাকে স্পর্শ করেনি এবং আমি ব্যভিচারিণীও কখনও ছিলাম না ?
She said: "How shall I have a son, seeing that no man has touched me, and I am not unchaste?"		 (মারইয়াম:
আয়াতঃ ২০)
109 সে বললঃ এমনিতেই হবে। তোমার পালনকর্তা বলেছেন, এটা আমার জন্যে সহজ সাধ্য এবং আমি তাকে মানুষের জন্যে একটি নিদর্শন ও আমার পক্ষ থেকে অনুগ্রহ স্বরূপ করতে চাই। এটা তো এক স্থিরীকৃত ব্যাপার।
He said: "So (it will be): Thy Lord saith, 'that is easy for Me: and (We wish) to appoint him as a Sign unto men and a Mercy from Us': It is a matter (so) decreed."		 (মারইয়াম:
আয়াতঃ ২১)
110 অতঃপর তিনি সন্তানকে নিয়ে তার সম্প্রদায়ের কাছে উপস্থিত হলেন। তারা বললঃ হে মারইয়াম, তুমি একটি অঘটন ঘটিয়ে বসেছ।
At length she brought the (babe) to her people, carrying him (in her arms). They said: "O Mary! truly an amazing thing hast thou brought!		 (মারইয়াম:
আয়াতঃ ২৭)
111 অতঃপর তিনি হাতে সন্তানের দিকে ইঙ্গিত করলেন। তারা বললঃ যে কোলের শিশু তার সাথে আমরা কেমন করে কথা বলব?
But she pointed to the babe. They said: "How can we talk to one who is a child in the cradle?"		 (মারইয়াম:
আয়াতঃ ২৯)
112 সন্তান বললঃ আমি তো আল্লাহর দাস। তিনি আমাকে কিতাব দিয়েছেন এবং আমাকে নবী করেছেন।
He said: "I am indeed a servant of Allah: He hath given me revelation and made me a prophet;		 (মারইয়াম:
আয়াতঃ ৩০)
113 পিতা বললঃ যে ইব্রাহীম, তুমি কি আমার উপাস্যদের থেকে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নিচ্ছ? যদি তুমি বিরত না হও, আমি অবশ্যই প্রস্তরাঘাতে তোমার প্রাণনাশ করব। তুমি চিরতরে আমার কাছ থেকে দূর হয়ে যাও।
(The father) replied: "Dost thou hate my gods, O Abraham? If thou forbear not, I will indeed stone thee: Now get away from me for a good long while!"		 (মারইয়াম:
আয়াতঃ ৪৬)
114 (জিব্রাইল বললঃ) আমি আপনার পালনকর্তার আদেশ ব্যতীত অবতরণ করি না, যা আমাদের সামনে আছে, যা আমাদের পশ্চাতে আছে এবং যা এ দুই-এর মধ্যস্থলে আছে, সবই তাঁর এবং আপনার পালনকর্তা বিস্মৃত হওয়ার নন।
(The angels say:) "We descend not but by command of thy Lord: to Him belongeth what is before us and what is behind us, and what is between: and thy Lord never doth forget,-		 (মারইয়াম:
আয়াতঃ ৬৪)
115 যখন তোমার ভগিনী এসে বললঃ আমি কি তোমাদেরকে বলে দেব কে তাকে লালন পালন করবে। অতঃপর আমি তোমাকে তোমার মাতার কাছে ফিরিয়ে দিলাম, যাতে তার চক্ষু শীতল হয় এবং দুঃখ না পায়। তুমি এক ব্যক্তিকে হত্যা করেছিলে, অতঃপর আমি তোমাকে এই দুশ্চিন্তা থেকে মুক্তি দেই; আমি তোমাকে অনেক পরীক্ষা করেছি। অতঃপর তুমি কয়েক বছর মাদইয়ান বাসীদের মধ্যে অবস্থান করেছিলে; হে মূসা, অতঃপর তুমি নির্ধারিত সময়ে এসেছ।
"Behold! thy sister goeth forth and saith, 'shall I show you one who will nurse and rear the (child)?' So We brought thee back to thy mother, that her eye might be cooled and she should not grieve. Then thou didst slay a man, but We saved thee from trouble, and We tried thee in various ways. Then didst thou tarry a number of years with the people of Midian. Then didst thou come hither as ordained, O Moses!		 (ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ৪০)
116 তারা বললঃ হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা, আমরা আশঙ্কা করি যে, সে আমাদের প্রতি জুলুম করবে কিংবা উত্তেজিত হয়ে উঠবে।
They (Moses and Aaron) said: "Our Lord! We fear lest he hasten with insolence against us, or lest he transgress all bounds."		 (ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ৪৫)
117 সে বললঃ তবে হে মূসা, তোমাদের পালনকর্তা কে?
(When this message was delivered), (Pharaoh) said: "Who, then, O Moses, is the Lord of you two?"		 (ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ৪৯)
118 ফেরাউন বললঃ তাহলে অতীত যুগের লোকদের অবস্থা কি?
(Pharaoh) said: "What then is the condition of previous generations?"		 (ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ৫১)
119 সে বললঃ হে মূসা, তুমি কি যাদুর জোরে আমাদেরকে দেশ থেকে বহিষ্কার করার জন্যে আগমন করেছ?
He said: "Hast thou come to drive us out of our land with thy magic, O Moses?		 (ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ৫৭)
120 মূসা বললঃ তোমাদের ওয়াদার দিন উৎসবের দিন এবং পূর্বাহেߠলোকজন সমবেত হবে।
Moses said: "Your tryst is the Day of the Festival, and let the people be assembled when the sun is well up."		 (ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ৫৯)
121 তারা বললঃ এই দুইজন নিশ্চিতই যাদুকর, তারা তাদের যাদু দ্বারা তোমাদেরকে তোমাদের দেশ থেকে বহিস্কার করতে চায় এবং তোমাদের উৎকৃষ্ট জীবন ব্যবস্থা রহিত করতে চায়।
They said: "These two are certainly (expert) magicians: their object is to drive you out from your land with their magic, and to do away with your most cherished institutions.		 (ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ৬৩)
122 তারা বললঃ হে মূসা, হয় তুমি নিক্ষেপ কর, না হয় আমরা প্রথমে নিক্ষেপ করি।
They said: "O Moses! whether wilt thou that thou throw (first) or that we be the first to throw?"		 (ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ৬৫)
123 অতঃপর যাদুকররা সেজদায় পড়ে গেল। তারা বললঃ আমরা হারুন ও মূসার পালনকর্তার প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করলাম।
So the magicians were thrown down to prostration: they said, "We believe in the Lord of Aaron and Moses".		 (ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ৭০)
124 ফেরাউন বললঃ আমার অনুমতি দানের পূর্বেই? তোমরা কি তার প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করলে; দেখছি সেই তোমাদের প্রধান, সে তোমাদেরকে যাদু শিক্ষা দিয়েছে। অতএব আমি অবশ্যই তোমাদের হস্তপদ বিপরীত দিক থেকে কর্তন করব এবং আমি তোমাদেরকে খর্জুর বৃক্ষের কান্ডে শূলে চড়াব এবং তোমরা নিশ্চিত রূপেই জানতে পারবে আমাদের মধ্যে কার আযাব কঠোরতর এবং অধিক্ষণ স্থায়ী।
(Pharaoh) said: "Believe ye in Him before I give you permission? Surely this must be your leader, who has taught you magic! be sure I will cut off your hands and feet on opposite sides, and I will have you crucified on trunks of palm-trees: so shall ye know for certain, which of us can give the more severe and the more lasting punishment!"		 (ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ৭১)
125 যাদুকররা বললঃ আমাদের কাছে যে, সুস্পষ্ট প্রমাণ এসেছে তার উপর এবং যিনি আমাদের কে সৃষ্টি করেছেন, তাঁর উপর আমরা কিছুতেই তোমাকে প্রাধান্য দেব না। অতএব, তুমি যা ইচ্ছা করতে পার। তুমি তো শুধু এই পার্থিব জীবনেই যা করার করবে।
They said: "Never shall we regard thee as more than the Clear Signs that have come to us, or than Him Who created us! so decree whatever thou desirest to decree: for thou canst only decree (touching) the life of this world.		 (ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ৭২)
126 তারা বললঃ আমরা তোমার সাথে কৃত ওয়াদা স্বেচ্ছায় ভঙ্গ করিনি; কিন্তু আমাদের উপর ফেরউনীদের অলংকারের বোঝা চাপিয়ে দেয়া হয়েছিল। অতঃপর আমরা তা নিক্ষেপ করে দিয়েছি। এমনি ভাবে সামেরীও নিক্ষেপ করেছে।
They said: "We broke not the promise to thee, as far as lay in our power: but we were made to carry the weight of the ornaments of the (whole) people, and we threw them (into the fire), and that was what the Samiri suggested.		 (ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ৮৭)
127 অতঃপর সে তাদের জন্য তৈরী করে বের করল একটি গো-বৎস, একটা দেহ, যার মধ্যে গরুর শব্দ ছিল। তারা বললঃ এটা তোমাদের উপাস্য এবং মূসার ও উপাস্য, অতঃপর মূসা ভুলে গেছে।
"Then he brought out (of the fire) before the (people) the image of a calf: It seemed to low: so they said: This is your god, and the god of Moses, but (Moses) has forgotten!"		 (ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ৮৮)
128 তারা বললঃ মূসা আমাদের কাছে ফিরে আসা পর্যন্ত আমরা সদাসর্বদা এর সাথেই সংযুক্ত হয়ে বসে থাকব।
They had said: "We will not abandon this cult, but we will devote ourselves to it until Moses returns to us."		 (ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ৯১)
129 সে বললঃ আমি দেখলাম যা অন্যেরা দেখেনি। অতঃপর আমি সেই প্রেরিত ব্যক্তির পদচিহেߦ#2480; নীচ থেকে এক মুঠি মাটি নিয়ে নিলাম। অতঃপর আমি তা নিক্ষেপ করলাম। আমাকে আমার মন এই মন্ত্রণাই দিল।
He replied: "I saw what they saw not: so I took a handful (of dust) from the footprint of the Messenger, and threw it (into the calf): thus did my soul suggest to me."		 (ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ৯৬)
130 অতঃপর শয়তান তাকে কুমন্ত্রনা দিল, বললঃ হে আদম, আমি কি তোমাকে বলে দিব অনন্তকাল জীবিত থাকার বৃক্ষের কথা এবং অবিনশ্বর রাজত্বের কথা?
But Satan whispered evil to him: he said, "O Adam! shall I lead thee to the Tree of Eternity and to a kingdom that never decays?"		 (ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ১২০)
131 তারা বললঃ হায়, দুর্ভোগ আমাদের, আমরা অবশ্যই পাপী ছিলাম।
They said: "Ah! woe to us! We were indeed wrong-doers!"		 (আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ১৪)
132 তারা বললঃ দয়াময় আল্লাহ সন্তান গ্রহণ করেছে। তাঁর জন্য কখনও ইহা যোগ্য নয়; বরং তারা তো তাঁর সম্মানিত বান্দা।
And they say: "(Allah) Most Gracious has begotten offspring." Glory to Him! they are (but) servants raised to honour.		 (আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ২৬)
133 তারা বললঃ আমরা আমাদের বাপ-দাদাকে এদের পুজা করতে দেখেছি।
They said, "We found our fathers worshipping them."		 (আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৫৩)
134 তারা বললঃ তুমি কি আমাদের কাছে সত্যসহ আগমন করেছ, না তুমি কৌতুক করছ?
They said, "Have you brought us the Truth, or are you one of those who jest?"		 (আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৫৫)
135 তারা বললঃ আমাদের উপাস্যদের সাথে এরূপ ব্যবহার কে করল? সে তো নিশ্চয়ই কোন জালিম।
They said, "Who has done this to our gods? He must indeed be some man of impiety!"		 (আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৫৯)
136 কতক লোকে বললঃ আমরা এক যুবককে তাদের সম্পর্কে বিরূপ আলোচনা করতে শুনেছি; তাকে ইব্রাহীম বলা হয়।
They said, "We heard a youth talk of them: He is called Abraham."		 (আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৬০)
137 তারা বললঃ তাকে জনসমক্ষে উপস্থিত কর, যাতে তারা দেখে।
They said, "Then bring him before the eyes of the people, that they may bear witness."		 (আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৬১)
138 তারা বললঃ হে ইব্রাহীম তুমিই কি আমাদের উপাস্যদের সাথে এরূপ ব্যবহার করেছ?
They said, "Art thou the one that did this with our gods, O Abraham?"		 (আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৬২)
139 অতঃপর মনে মনে চিন্তা করল এবং বললঃ লোক সকল; তোমরাই বে ইনসাফ।
So they turned to themselves and said, "Surely ye are the ones in the wrong!"		 (আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৬৪)
140 তারা বললঃ একে পুড়িয়ে দাও এবং তোমাদের উপাস্যদের সাহায্য কর, যদি তোমরা কিছু করতে চাও।
They said, "Burn him and protect your gods, If ye do (anything at all)!"		 (আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৬৮)
141 তাঁর সম্প্রদায়ের প্রধানরা যারা কাফের ছিল, পরকালের সাক্ষাতকে মিথ্যা বলত এবং যাদেরকে আমি পার্থিব জীবনে সুখ-স্বাচ্ছন্দ্য দিয়েছিলাম, তারা বললঃ এতো আমাদের মতই একজন মানুষ বৈ নয়। তোমরা যা খাও, সেও তাই খায় এবং তোমরা যা পান কর, সেও তাই পান করে।
And the chiefs of his people, who disbelieved and denied the Meeting in the Hereafter, and on whom We had bestowed the good things of this life, said: "He is no more than a man like yourselves: he eats of that of which ye eat, and drinks of what ye drink.		 (আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ৩৩)
142 তারা বললঃ আমরা কি আমাদের মতই এ দুই ব্যক্তিতে বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করব; অথচ তাদের সম্প্রদায় আমাদের দাস?
They said: "Shall we believe in two men like ourselves? And their people are subject to us!"		 (আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ৪৭)
143 তারা বললঃ না, তবে আমরা আমাদের পিতৃপুরুষদেরকে পেয়েছি, তারা এরূপই করত।
They said: "Nay, but we found our fathers doing thus (what we do)."		 (আশ-শো'আরা:
আয়াতঃ ৭৪)
144 যখন লোকমান উপদেশচ্ছলে তার পুত্রকে বললঃ হে বৎস, আল্লাহর সাথে শরীক করো না। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহর সাথে শরীক করা মহা অন্যায়।
Behold, Luqman said to his son by way of instruction: "O my son! join not in worship (others) with Allah: for false worship is indeed the highest wrong-doing."		 (লোকমান:
আয়াতঃ ১৩)
145 এবং বললঃ আমি পীড়িত।
And he said, "I am indeed sick (at heart)!"		 (আস-সাফফাত:
আয়াতঃ ৮৯)
146 অতঃপর সে তাদের দেবালয়ে, গিয়ে ঢুকল এবং বললঃ তোমরা খাচ্ছ না কেন?
Then did he turn to their gods and said, "will ye not eat (of the offerings before you)?...		 (আস-সাফফাত:
আয়াতঃ ৯১)
147 সে বললঃ তোমরা স্বহস্ত নির্মিত পাথরের পূজা কর কেন?
He said: "Worship ye that which ye have (yourselves) carved?		 (আস-সাফফাত:
আয়াতঃ ৯৫)
148 তারা বললঃ এর জন্যে একটি ভিত নির্মাণ কর এবং অতঃপর তাকে আগুনের স্তুপে নিক্ষেপ কর।
They said, "Build him a furnace, and throw him into the blazing fire!"		 (আস-সাফফাত:
আয়াতঃ ৯৭)
149 সে বললঃ আমি আমার পালনকর্তার দিকে চললাম, তিনি আমাকে পথপ্রদর্শন করবেন।
He said: "I will go to my Lord! He will surely guide me!		 (আস-সাফফাত:
আয়াতঃ ৯৯)
150 অতঃপর সে যখন পিতার সাথে চলাফেরা করার বয়সে উপনীত হল, তখন ইব্রাহীম তাকে বললঃ বৎস! আমি স্বপ্নে দেখিযে, তোমাকে যবেহ করছি; এখন তোমার অভিমত কি দেখ। সে বললঃ পিতাঃ! আপনাকে যা আদেশ করা হয়েছে, তাই করুন। আল্লাহ চাহে তো আপনি আমাকে সবরকারী পাবেন।
Then, when (the son) reached (the age of) (serious) work with him, he said: "O my son! I see in vision that I offer thee in sacrifice: Now see what is thy view!" (The son) said: "O my father! Do as thou art commanded: thou will find me, if Allah so wills one practising Patience and Constancy!"		 (আস-সাফফাত:

151 যখন সে তার সম্প্রদায়কে বললঃ তোমরা কি ভয় কর না ?
Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)?		 (আস-সাফফাত:
আয়াতঃ ১২৪)
152 যখন তারা দাউদের কাছে অনুপ্রবেশ করল, তখন সে সন্ত্রস্ত হয়ে পড়ল। তারা বললঃ ভয় করবেন না; আমরা বিবদমান দুটি পক্ষ, একে অপরের প্রতি বাড়াবাড়ি করেছি। অতএব, আমাদের মধ্যে ন্যায়বিচার করুন, অবিচার করবেন না। আমাদেরকে সরল পথ প্রদর্শন করুন।
When they entered the presence of David, and he was terrified of them, they said: "Fear not: we are two disputants, one of whom has wronged the other: Decide now between us with truth, and treat us not with injustice, but guide us to the even Path..		 (ছোয়াদ:
আয়াতঃ ২২)
153 দাউদ বললঃ সে তোমার দুম্বাটিকে নিজের দুম্বাগুলোর সাথে সংযুক্ত করার দাবী করে তোমার প্রতি অবিচার করেছে। শরীকদের অনেকেই একে অপরের প্রতি জুলুম করে থাকে। তবে তারা করে না, যারা আল্লাহর প্রতি বিশ্বাসী ও সৎকর্ম সম্পাদনকারী। অবশ্য এমন লোকের সংখ্যা অল্প। দাউদের খেয়াল হল যে, আমি তাকে পরীক্ষা করছি। অতঃপর সে তার পালনকর্তার কাছে ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা করল, সেজদায় লুটিয়ে পড়ল এবং তাঁর দিকে প্রত্যাবর্তন করল।
(David) said: "He has undoubtedly wronged thee in demanding thy (single) ewe to be added to his (flock of) ewes: truly many are the partners (in business) who wrong each other: Not so do those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, and how few are they?"... and David gathered that We had tried him: he asked forgiveness of his Lord, fell down, bowing (in prostration), and turned (to Allah in repentance).		 (ছোয়াদ:
আয়াতঃ ২৪)
154 তখন সে বললঃ আমি তো আমার পরওয়ারদেগারের স্মরণে বিস্মৃত হয়ে সম্পদের মহব্বতে মুগ্ধ হয়ে পড়েছি-এমনকি সূর্য ডুবে গেছে।
And he said, "Truly do I love the love of good, with a view to the glory of my Lord,"- until (the sun) was hidden in the veil (of night):		 (ছোয়াদ:
আয়াতঃ ৩২)
155 সোলায়মান বললঃ হে আমার পালনকর্তা, আমাকে মাফ করুন এবং আমাকে এমন সাম্রাজ্য দান করুন যা আমার পরে আর কেউ পেতে পারবে না। নিশ্চয় আপনি মহাদাতা।
He said, "O my Lord! Forgive me, and grant me a kingdom which, (it may be), suits not another after me: for Thou art the Grantor of Bounties (without measure).		 (ছোয়াদ:
আয়াতঃ ৩৫)
156 স্মরণ করুণ, আমার বান্দা আইয়্যুবের কথা, যখন সে তার পালনকর্তাকে আহবান করে বললঃ শয়তান আমাকে যন্ত্রণা ও কষ্ট পৌছিয়েছে।
Commemorate Our Servant Job. Behold he cried to his Lord: "The Evil One has afflicted me with distress and suffering!"		 (ছোয়াদ:
আয়াতঃ ৪১)
157 সে বললঃ আমি তার চেয়ে উত্তম আপনি আমাকে আগুনের দ্বারা সৃষ্টি করেছেন, আর তাকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন মাটির দ্বারা।
(Iblis) said: "I am better than he: thou createdst me from fire, and him thou createdst from clay."		 (ছোয়াদ:
আয়াতঃ ৭৬)
158 সে বললঃ হে আমার পালনকর্তা, আপনি আমাকে পুনরুত্থান দিবস পর্যন্ত অবকাশ দিন।
(Iblis) said: "O my Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are raised."		 (ছোয়াদ:
আয়াতঃ ৭৯)
159 সে মুমিন ব্যক্তি বললঃ হে আমার কওম, আমি তোমাদের জন্যে পূর্ববর্তী সম্প্রদায়সমূহের মতই বিপদসঙ্কুল দিনের আশংকা করি।
Then said the man who believed: "O my people! Truly I do fear for you something like the Day (of disaster) of the Confederates (in sin)!-		 (আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ৩০)
160 মুমিন লোকটি বললঃ হে আমার কওম, তোমরা আমার অনুসরণ কর। আমি তোমাদেরকে সৎপথ প্রদর্শন করব।
The man who believed said further: "O my people! Follow me: I will lead you to the Path of Right.		 (আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ৩৮)
161 যখন তারা তাঁর কাছে উপস্থিত হয়ে বললঃ সালাম, তখন সে বললঃ সালাম। এরা তো অপরিচিত লোক।
Behold, they entered his presence, and said: "Peace!" He said, "Peace!" (and thought, "These seem) unusual people."		 (আয-যারিয়াত:
আয়াতঃ ২৫)
162 সে গোবৎসটি তাদের সামনে রেখে বললঃ তোমরা আহার করছ না কেন?
And placed it before them.. he said, "Will ye not eat?"		 (আয-যারিয়াত:
আয়াতঃ ২৭)
163 অতঃপর তাদের সম্পর্কে সে মনে মনে ভীত হলঃ তারা বললঃ ভীত হবেন না। তারা তাঁকে একট জ্ঞানীগুণী পুত্র সন্তানের সুসংবাদ দিল।
(When they did not eat), He conceived a fear of them. They said, "Fear not," and they gave him glad tidings of a son endowed with knowledge.		 (আয-যারিয়াত:
আয়াতঃ ২৮)
164 অতঃপর তাঁর স্ত্রী চীৎকার করতে করতে সামনে এল এবং মুখ চাপড়িয়ে বললঃ আমি তো বৃদ্ধা, বন্ধ্যা।
But his wife came forward (laughing) aloud: she smote her forehead and said: "A barren old woman!"		 (আয-যারিয়াত:
আয়াতঃ ২৯)
165 তারা বললঃ তোমার পালনকর্তা এরূপই বলেছেন। নিশ্চয় তিনি প্রজ্ঞাময়, সর্বজ্ঞ।
They said, "Even so has thy Lord spoken: and He is full of Wisdom and Knowledge."		 (আয-যারিয়াত:
আয়াতঃ ৩০)
166 ইব্রাহীম বললঃ হে প্রেরিত ফেরেশতাগণ, তোমাদের উদ্দেশ্য কি?
(Abraham) said: "And what, O ye Messengers, is your errand (now)?"		 (আয-যারিয়াত:
আয়াতঃ ৩১)
167 তারা বললঃ আমরা এক অপরাধী সম্প্রদায়ের প্রতি প্রেরিত হয়েছি,
They said, "We have been sent to a people (deep) in sin;-		 (আয-যারিয়াত:
আয়াতঃ ৩২)
168 অতঃপর সে শক্তিবলে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নিল এবং বললঃ সে হয় যাদুকর, না হয় পাগল।
But (Pharaoh) turned back with his Chiefs, and said, "A sorcerer, or one possessed!"		 (আয-যারিয়াত:
আয়াতঃ ৩৯)
169 অতঃপর সে তার পালনকর্তাকে ডেকে বললঃ আমি অক্ষম, অতএব, তুমি প্রতিবিধান কর।
Then he called on his Lord: "I am one overcome: do Thou then help (me)!"		 (আল ক্বামার:
আয়াতঃ ১০)
170 স্মরণ কর, যখন মূসা (আঃ) তাঁর সম্প্রদায়কে বললঃ হে আমার সম্প্রদায়, তোমরা কেন আমাকে কষ্ট দাও, অথচ তোমরা জান যে, আমি তোমাদের কাছে আল্লাহর রসূল। অতঃপর তারা যখন বক্রতা অবলম্বন করল, তখন আল্লাহ তাদের অন্তরকে বক্র করে দিলেন। আল্লাহ পাপাচারী সম্প্রদায়কে পথপ্রদর্শন করেন না।
And remember, Moses said to his people: "O my people! why do ye vex and insult me, though ye know that I am the messenger of Allah (sent) to you?" Then when they went wrong, Allah let their hearts go wrong. For Allah guides not those who are rebellious transgressors.		 (আছ-ছফ:
আয়াতঃ ৫)
171 স্মরণ কর, যখন মরিয়ম-তনয় ঈসা (আঃ) বললঃ হে বনী ইসরাইল! আমি তোমাদের কাছে আল্লাহর প্রেরিত রসূল, আমার পূর্ববর্তী তওরাতের আমি সত্যায়নকারী এবং আমি এমন একজন রসূলের সুসংবাদদাতা, যিনি আমার পরে আগমন করবেন। তাঁর নাম আহমদ। অতঃপর যখন সে স্পষ্ট প্রমাণাদি নিয়ে আগমন করল, তখন তারা বললঃ এ তো এক প্রকাশ্য যাদু।
And remember, Jesus, the son of Mary, said: "O Children of Israel! I am the messenger of Allah (sent) to you, confirming the Law (which came) before me, and giving Glad Tidings of a Messenger to come after me, whose name shall be Ahmad." But when he came to them with Clear Signs, they said, "this is evident sorcery!"		 (আছ-ছফ:
আয়াতঃ ৬)
172 আল্লাহ তা’আলা মুমিনদের জন্যে ফেরাউন-পত্নীর দৃষ্টান্ত বর্ণনা করেছেন। সে বললঃ হে আমার পালনকর্তা! আপনার সন্নিকটে জান্নাতে আমার জন্যে একটি গৃহ নির্মাণ করুন, আমাকে ফেরাউন ও তার দুস্কর্ম থেকে উদ্ধার করুন এবং আমাকে যালেম সম্প্রদায় থেকে মুক্তি দিন।
And Allah sets forth, as an example to those who believe the wife of Pharaoh: Behold she said: "O my Lord! Build for me, in nearness to Thee, a mansion in the Garden, and save me from Pharaoh and his doings, and save me from those that do wrong";		 (আত-তাহরীম:
আয়াতঃ ১১)
173 অতঃপর যখন তারা বাগান দেখল, তখন বললঃ আমরা তো পথ ভূলে গেছি।
But when they saw the (garden), they said: "We have surely lost our way:		 (আল কলম:
আয়াতঃ ২৬)
174 তাদের উত্তম ব্যক্তি বললঃ আমি কি তোমাদেরকে বলিনি? এখনও তোমরা আল্লাহ তা’আলার পবিত্রতা বর্ণনা করছো না কেন?
Said one of them, more just (than the rest): "Did I not say to you, 'Why not glorify (Allah)?'"		 (আল কলম:
আয়াতঃ ২৮)
175 তারা বললঃ আমরা আমাদের পালনকর্তার পবিত্রতা ঘোষণা করছি, নিশ্চিতই আমরা সীমালংঘনকারী ছিলাম।
They said: "Glory to our Lord! Verily we have been doing wrong!"		 (আল কলম:
আয়াতঃ ২৯)
176 তারা বললঃ হায়! দুর্ভোগ আমাদের আমরা ছিলাম সীমাতিক্রমকারী।
They said: "Alas for us! We have indeed transgressed!		 (আল কলম:
আয়াতঃ ৩১)
177 সে বললঃ হে আমার পালনকর্তা! আমি আমার সম্প্রদায়কে দিবারাত্রি দাওয়াত দিয়েছি;
He said: "O my Lord! I have called to my People night and day:		 (নূহ:
আয়াতঃ ৫)
178 নূহ বললঃ হে আমার পালনকর্তা, আমার সম্প্রদায় আমাকে অমান্য করেছে আর অনুসরণ করছে এমন লোককে, যার ধন-সম্পদ ও সন্তান-সন্ততি কেবল তার ক্ষতিই বৃদ্ধি করছে।
Noah said: "O my Lord! They have disobeyed me, but they follow (men) whose wealth and children give them no increase but only Loss.		 (নূহ:
আয়াতঃ ২১)
179 নূহ আরও বললঃ হে আমার পালনকর্তা, আপনি পৃথিবীতে কোন কাফের গৃহবাসীকে রেহাই দিবেন না।
And Noah, said: "O my Lord! Leave not of the Unbelievers, a single one on earth!		 (নূহ:
আয়াতঃ ২৬)
180 এবং বললঃ আমিই তোমাদের সেরা পালনকর্তা।
Saying, "I am your Lord, Most High".		 (আন-নযিআ'ত:
আয়াতঃ ২৪)
