তোমরা বল, আমরা ঈমান এনেছি আল্লাহর উপর এবং যা অবতীর্ণ হয়েছে আমাদের প্রতি এবং যা অবতীর্ণ হয়েছে ইব্রাহীম, ইসমাঈল, ইসহাক, ইয়াকুব এবং তদীয় বংশধরের প্রতি এবং মূসা, ঈসা, অন্যান্য নবীকে পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে যা দান করা হয়েছে, তৎসমুদয়ের উপর। আমরা তাদের মধ্যে পার্থক্য করি না। আমরা তাঁরই আনুগত্যকারী।
Say ye: "We believe in Allah, and the revelation given to us, and to Abraham, Isma'il, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes, and that given to Moses and Jesus, and that given to (all) prophets from their Lord: We make no difference between one and another of them: And we bow to Allah (in Islam)." |

বল, ‘আল্লাহ সত্য বলেছেন। এখন সবাই ইব্রাহীমের ধর্মের অনুগত হয়ে যাও, যিনি ছিলেন একনিষ্ঠ ভাবে সত্যধর্মের অনুসারী। তিনি মুশরিকদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত ছিলেন না।
Say: "Allah speaketh the Truth: follow the religion of Abraham, the sane in faith; he was not of the Pagans." |

অতঃপর তোমাদের উপর শোকের পর শান্তি অবতীর্ণ করলেন, যা ছিল তন্দ্রার মত। সে তন্দ্রায় তোমাদের মধ্যে কেউ কেউ ঝিমোচ্ছিল আর কেউ কেউ প্রাণের ভয়ে ভাবছিল। আল্লাহ সম্পর্কে তাদের মিথ্যা ধারণা হচ্ছিল মুর্খদের মত। তারা বলছিল আমাদের হাতে কি কিছুই করার নেই? তুমি বল, সবকিছুই আল্লাহর হাতে। তারা যা কিছু মনে লুকিয়ে রাখে-তোমার নিকট প্রকাশ করে না সে সবও। তারা বলে আমাদের হাতে যদি কিছু করার থাকতো, তাহলে আমরা এখানে নিহত হতাম না। তুমি বল, তোমরা যদি নিজেদের ঘরেও থাকতে তবুও তারা অবশ্যই বেরিয়ে আসত নিজেদের অবস্থান থেকে যাদের মৃত্যু লিখে দেয়া হয়েছে। তোমাদের বুকে যা রয়েছে তার পরীক্ষা করা ছিল আল্লাহর ইচ্ছা, আর তোমাদের অন্তরে যা কিছু রয়েছে তা পরিষ্কার করা ছিল তাঁর কাম্য। আল্লাহ মনের গোপন বিষয় জানেন।
After (the excitement) of the distress, He sent down calm on a band of you overcome with slumber, while another band was stirred to anxiety by their own feelings, Moved by wrong suspicions of Allah-suspicions due to ignorance. They said: "What affair is this of ours?" Say thou: "Indeed, this affair is wholly Allah's." They hide in their minds what they dare not reveal to thee. They say (to themselves): "If we had had anything to do with this affair, We should not have been in the slaughter here." Say: "Even if you had remained in your homes, those for whom death was decreed would certainly have gone forth to the place of their death"; but (all this was) that Allah might test what is in your breasts and purge what is in your hearts. For Allah knoweth well the secrets of your hearts. |

সৃষ্টি করেছেন আটটি নর ও মাদী। ভেড়ার মধ্যে দুই প্রকার ও ছাগলের মধ্যে দুই প্রকার। জিজ্ঞেস করুন, তিনি কি উভয় নর হারাম করেছেন, না উভয় মাদীকে ? না যা উভয় মাদীর পেটে আছে? তোমরা আমাকে প্রমাণসহ বল, যদি তোমরা সত্যবাদী হও।
(Take) eight (head of cattle) in (four) pairs: of sheep a pair, and of goats a pair; say, hath He forbidden the two males, or the two females, or (the young) which the wombs of the two females enclose? Tell me with knowledge if ye are truthful: |

এতীমদের ধনসম্পদের কাছেও যেয়ো না; কিন্তু উত্তম পন্থায় যে পর্যন্ত সে বয়ঃপ্রাপ্ত না হয়। ওজন ও মাপ পূর্ণ কর ন্যায় সহকারে। আমি কাউকে তার সাধ্যের অতীত কষ্ট দেই না। যখন তোমরা কথা বল, তখন সুবিচার কর, যদিও সে আত্নীয়ও হয়। আল্লাহর অঙ্গীকার পূর্ণ কর।
And come not nigh to the orphan's property, except to improve it, until he attain the age of full strength; give measure and weight with (full) justice;- no burden do We place on any soul, but that which it can bear;- whenever ye speak, speak justly, even if a near relative is concerned; and fulfil the covenant of Allah: thus doth He command you, that ye may remember. |

আর যখন তাদের প্রতি নির্দেশ হল যে, তোমরা এ নগরীতে বসবাস কর এবং খাও তা থেকে যেখান থেকে ইচ্ছা এবং বল, আমাদের ক্ষমা করুন। আর দরজা দিয়ে প্রবেশ কর প্রণত অবস্থায়। তবে আমি ক্ষমা করে দেব তোমাদের পাপসমুহ। অবশ্য আমি সৎকর্মীদিগকে অতিরিক্ত দান করব।
And remember it was said to them: "Dwell in this town and eat therein as ye wish, but say the word of humility and enter the gate in a posture of humility: We shall forgive you your faults; We shall increase (the portion of) those who do good." |

আয়াতঃ ১৬১) |

তোমরা যদি মীমাংসা কামনা কর, তাহলে তোমাদের নিকট মীমাংসা পৌছে গেছে। আর যদি তোমরা প্রত্যাবর্তন কর, তবে তা তোমাদের জন্য উত্তম এবং তোমরা যদি তাই কর, তবে আমি ও তেমনি করব। বস্তুতঃ তোমাদের কোনই কাজে আসবে না তোমাদের দল-বল, তা যত বেশীই হোক। জেনে রেখ আল্লাহ রয়েছেন ঈমানদারদের সাথে।
(O Unbelievers!) if ye prayed for victory and judgment, now hath the judgment come to you: if ye desist (from wrong), it will be best for you: if ye return (to the attack), so shall We. Not the least good will your forces be to you even if they were multiplied: for verily Allah is with those who believe! |

আয়াতঃ ১৯) |

বল, তোমাদের নিকট যদি তোমাদের পিতা তোমাদের সন্তান, তোমাদের ভাই তোমাদের পত্নী, তোমাদের গোত্র তোমাদের অর্জিত ধন-সম্পদ, তোমাদের ব্যবসা যা বন্ধ হয়ে যাওয়ার ভয় কর এবং তোমাদের বাসস্থান-যাকে তোমরা পছন্দ কর-আল্লাহ, তাঁর রসূল ও তাঁর রাহে জেহাদ করা থেকে অধিক প্রিয় হয়, তবে অপেক্ষা কর, আল্লাহর বিধান আসা পর্যন্ত, আর আল্লাহ ফাসেক সম্প্রদায়কে হেদায়েত করেন না।
Say: If it be that your fathers, your sons, your brothers, your mates, or your kindred; the wealth that ye have gained; the commerce in which ye fear a decline: or the dwellings in which ye delight - are dearer to you than Allah, or His Messenger, or the striving in His cause;- then wait until Allah brings about His decision: and Allah guides not the rebellious. |

দূর্বল, রুগ্ন, ব্যয়ভার বহনে অসমর্থ লোকদের জন্য কোন অপরাধ নেই, যখন তারা মনের দিক থেকে পবিত্র হবে আল্লাহ ও রসূলের সাথে। নেককারদের উপর অভিযোগের কোন পথ নেই। আর আল্লাহ হচ্ছেন ক্ষমাকারী দয়ালু।
There is no blame on those who are infirm, or ill, or who find no resources to spend (on the cause), if they are sincere (in duty) to Allah and His Messenger: no ground (of complaint) can there be against such as do right: and Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. |

আর উপাসনা করে আল্লাহকে বাদ দিয়ে এমন বস্তুর, যা না তাদের কোন ক্ষতিসাধন করতে পারে, না লাভ এবং বলে, এরা তো আল্লাহর কাছে আমাদের সুপারিশকারী। তুমি বল, তোমরা কি আল্লাহকে এমন বিষয়ে অবহিত করছ, যে সম্পর্কে তিনি অবহিত নন আসমান ও যমীনের মাঝে ? তিনি পুতঃপবিত্র ও মহান সে সমস্ত থেকে যাকে তোমরা শরীক করছ।
They serve, besides Allah, things that hurt them not nor profit them, and they say: "These are our intercessors with Allah." Say: "Do ye indeed inform Allah of something He knows not, in the heavens or on earth?- Glory to Him! and far is He above the partners they ascribe (to Him)!" |

আয়াতঃ ১৮) |
| 11 |
বল, আছে কি কেউ তোমাদের শরীকদের মাঝে যে সৃষ্টি কে পয়দা করতে পারে এবং আবার জীবিত করতে পারে? বল, আল্লাহই প্রথমবার সৃষ্টি করেন এবং অতঃপর তার পুনরুদ্ভব করবেন। অতএব, কোথায় ঘুরপাক খাচ্ছে?
Say: "Of your 'partners', can any originate creation and repeat it?" Say: "It is Allah Who originates creation and repeats it: then how are ye deluded away (from the truth)?" |

জিজ্ঞেস কর, আছে কি কেউ তোমাদের শরীকদের মধ্যে যে সত্য-সঠিক পথ প্রদর্শন করবে? বল, আল্লাহই সত্য-সঠিক পথ প্রদর্শন করেন, সুতরাং এমন যে লোক সঠিক পথ দেখাবে তার কথা মান্য করা কিংবা যে লোক নিজে নিজে পথ খুঁজে পায় না, তাকে পথ দেখানো কর্তব্য। অতএব, তোমাদের কি হল, কেমন তোমাদের বিচার?
Say: "Of your 'partners' is there any that can give any guidance towards truth?" Say: "It is Allah Who gives guidance towards truth, is then He Who gives guidance to truth more worthy to be followed, or he who finds not guidance (himself) unless he is guided? what then is the matter with you? How judge ye?" |

| 13 |
আর যদি তোমাকে মিথ্যা প্রতিপন্ন করে, তবে বল, আমার জন্য আমার কর্ম, আর তোমাদের জন্য তোমাদের কর্ম। তোমাদের দায়-দায়িত্ব নেই আমার কর্মের উপর এবং আমারও দায়-দায়িত্ব নেই তোমরা যা কর সেজন্য।
If they charge thee with falsehood, say: "My work to me, and yours to you! ye are free from responsibility for what I do, and I for what ye do!" |

আয়াতঃ ৪১) |
| 14 |
তুমি বল, আমি আমার নিজের ক্ষতি কিংবা লাভেরও মালিক নই, কিন্তু আল্লাহ যা ইচ্ছা করেন। প্রত্যেক সম্প্রদায়ের জন্যই একেকটি ওয়াদা রয়েছে, যখন তাদের সে ওয়াদা এসে পৌঁছে যাবে, তখন না একদন্ড পেছনে সরতে পারবে, না সামনে ফসকাতে পারবে,।
Say: "I have no power over any harm or profit to myself except as Allah willeth. To every people is a term appointed: when their term is reached, not an hour can they cause delay, nor (an hour) can they advance (it in anticipation)." |
(ইউনুস:
আয়াতঃ ৪৯) |
| 15 |
তুমি বল, আচ্ছা দেখ তো দেখি, যদি তোমাদের উপর তার আযাব রাতারাতি অথবা দিনের বেলায় এসে পৌঁছে যায়, তবে এর আগে পাপীরা কি করবে?
Say: "Do ye see,- if His punishment should come to you by night or by day,- what portion of it would the sinners wish to hasten? |
(ইউনুস:
আয়াতঃ ৫০) |
| 16 |
বল, আল্লাহর দয়া ও মেহেরবাণীতে। সুতরাং এরই প্রতি তাদের সন্তুষ্ট থাকা উচিৎ। এটিই উত্তম সে সমুদয় থেকে যা সঞ্চয় করছ।
Say: "In the bounty of Allah. And in His Mercy,- in that let them rejoice": that is better than the (wealth) they hoard. |

আয়াতঃ ৫৮) |
| 17 |
বল, আচ্ছা নিজেই লক্ষ্য করে দেখ, যা কিছু আল্লাহ তোমাদের জন্য রিযিক হিসাবে অবতীর্ণ করেছেন, তোমরা সেগুলোর মধ্য থেকে কোনটাকে হারাম আর কোনটাকে হালাল সাব্যস্ত করেছ? বল, তোমাদের কি আল্লাহ নির্দেশ দিয়েছেন, নাকি আল্লাহর উপর অপবাদ আরোপ করছ?
Say: "See ye what things Allah hath sent down to you for sustenance? Yet ye hold forbidden some things thereof and (some things) lawful." Say: "Hath Allah indeed permitted you, or do ye invent (things) to attribute to Allah?" |
(ইউনুস:
আয়াতঃ ৫৯) |
| 18 |
তারা কি বলে? কোরআন তুমি তৈরী করেছ? তুমি বল, তবে তোমরাও অনুরূপ দশটি সূরা তৈরী করে নিয়ে আস এবং আল্লাহ ছাড়া যাকে পার ডেকে নাও, যদি তোমাদের কথা সত্য হয়ে থাকে।
Or they may say, "He forged it," Say, "Bring ye then ten suras forged, like unto it, and call (to your aid) whomsoever ye can, other than Allah!- If ye speak the truth! |
(হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ১৩) |
| 19 |
বাদশাহ বললঃ আমি স্বপ্নে দেখলাম, সাতটি মোটাতাজা গাভী-এদেরকে সাতটি শীর্ণ গাভী খেয়ে যাচ্ছে এবং সাতটি সবুজ শীষ ও অন্যগুলো শুষ্ক। হে পরিষদবর্গ! তোমরা আমাকে আমার স্বপ্নের ব্যাখ্যা বল, যদি তোমরা স্বপ্নের ব্যাখ্যায় পারদর্শী হয়ে থাক।
The king (of Egypt) said: "I do see (in a vision) seven fat kine, whom seven lean ones devour, and seven green ears of corn, and seven (others) withered. O ye chiefs! Expound to me my vision if it be that ye can interpret visions." |

আয়াতঃ ৪৩) |
| 20 |
যখন কাফেলা রওয়ানা হল, তখন তাদের পিতা বললেনঃ যদি তোমরা আমাকে অপ্রকৃতিস্থ না বল, তবে বলিঃ আমি নিশ্চিতরূপেই ইউসুফের গন্ধ পাচ্ছি।
When the caravan left (Egypt), their father said: "I do indeed scent the presence of Joseph: Nay, think me not a dotard." |
(ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৯৪) |
| 21 |
যদি তুমি উচ্চকন্ঠেও কথা বল, তিনি তো গুপ্ত ও তদপেক্ষাও গুপ্ত বিষয়বস্তু জানেন।
If thou pronounce the word aloud, (it is no matter): for verily He knoweth what is secret and what is yet more hidden. |
(ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ৭) |
| 22 |
অতঃপর তোমরা তাকে নম্র কথা বল, হয়তো সে চিন্তা-ভাবনা করবে অথবা ভীত হবে।
"But speak to him mildly; perchance he may take warning or fear (Allah)." |
(ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ৪৪) |
| 23 |
বলুনঃ তোমাদের জানা থাকলে বল, কার হাতে সব বস্তুর কতৃর্ꦣ2468;্ব, যিনি রক্ষা করেন এবং যার কবল থেকে কেউ রক্ষা করতে পারে না ?
Say: "Who is it in whose hands is the governance of all things,- who protects (all), but is not protected (of any)? (say) if ye know." |
(আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ৮৮) |
| 24 |
অতএব তোমরা ফেরআউনের কাছে যাও এবং বল, আমরা বিশ্বজগতের পালনকর্তার রসূল।
"So go forth, both of you, to Pharaoh, and say: 'We have been sent by the Lord and Cherisher of the worlds; |
(আশ-শো'আরা:
আয়াতঃ ১৬) |

বল, সকল প্রশংসাই আল্লাহর এবং শান্তি তাঁর মনোনীত বান্দাগণের প্রতি! শ্রেষ্ঠ কে? আল্লাহ না ওরা-তারা যাদেরকে শরীক সাব্যস্ত করে।
Say: Praise be to Allah, and Peace on his servants whom He has chosen (for his Message). (Who) is better?- Allah or the false gods they associate (with Him)? |

আয়াতঃ ৫৯) |
| 26 |
তারা বলে, তোমরা যদি সত্যবাদী হও তবে বল, এই ওয়াদা কখন পূর্ণ হবে?
They also say: "When will this promise (come to pass)? (Say) if ye are truthful." |
(নমল:
আয়াতঃ ৭১) |
| 27 |
তোমরা যদি মিথ্যাবাদী বল, তবে তোমাদের পূর্ববর্তীরাও তো মিথ্যাবাদী বলেছে। স্পষ্টভাবে পয়গাম পৌছে দেয়াই তো রসূলের দায়িত্ব।
"And if ye reject (the Message), so did generations before you: and the duty of the messenger is only to preach publicly (and clearly)." |
(আল আনকাবুত:
আয়াতঃ ১৮) |
| 28 |
যারা আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে অপরকে সাহায্যকারীরূপে গ্রহণ করে তাদের উদাহরণ মাকড়সা। সে ঘর বানায়। আর সব ঘরের মধ্যে মাকড়সার ঘরই তো অধিক দুর্বল, যদি তারা জানত।
The parable of those who take protectors other than Allah is that of the spider, who builds (to itself) a house; but truly the flimsiest of houses is the spider's house;- if they but knew. |
(আল আনকাবুত:
আয়াতঃ ৪১) |
| 29 |
তোমরা কিতাবধারীদের সাথে তর্ক-বিতর্ক করবে না, কিন্তু উত্তম পন্থায়; তবে তাদের সাথে নয়, যারা তাদের মধ্যে বে-ইনসাফ। এবং বল, আমাদের প্রতি ও তোমাদের প্রতি যা নাযিল করা হয়েছে, তাতে আমরা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছি। আমাদের উপাস্য ও তোমাদের উপাস্য একই এবং আমরা তাঁরই আজ্ঞাবহ।
And dispute ye not with the People of the Book, except with means better (than mere disputation), unless it be with those of them who inflict wrong (and injury): but say, "We believe in the revelation which has come down to us and in that which came down to you; Our Allah and your Allah is one; and it is to Him we bow (in Islam)." |
(আল আনকাবুত:
আয়াতঃ ৪৬) |

তারা বলে, তোমরা যদি সত্যবাদী হও, তবে বল, এ ওয়াদা কখন বাস্তবায়িত হবে?
They say: "When will this promise (come to pass) if ye are telling the truth?" |
(সাবা:
আয়াতঃ ২৯) |
| 31 |
যারা জাহান্নামে আছে, তারা জাহান্নামের রক্ষীদেরকে বলবে, তোমরা তোমাদের পালনকর্তাকে বল, তিনি যেন আমাদের থেকে একদিনের আযাব লাঘব করে দেন।
Those in the Fire will say to the Keepers of Hell: "Pray to your Lord to lighten us the Penalty for a day (at least)!" |
(আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ৪৯) |
| 32 |
আল্লাহ তাঁর বান্দাদের প্রতি দয়ালু। তিনি যাকে ইচ্ছা, রিযিক দান করেন। তিনি প্রবল, পরাক্রমশালী।
Gracious is Allah to His servants: He gives Sustenance to whom He pleases: and He has power and can carry out His Will. |
(আশ-শুরা:
আয়াতঃ ১৯) |
| 33 |
মুমিনগণ! তোমরা নবীর কন্ঠস্বরের উপর তোমাদের কন্ঠস্বর উঁচু করো না এবং তোমরা একে অপরের সাথে যেরূপ উঁচুস্বরে কথা বল, তাঁর সাথে সেরূপ উঁচুস্বরে কথা বলো না। এতে তোমাদের কর্ম নিস্ফল হয়ে যাবে এবং তোমরা টেরও পাবে না।
O ye who believe! Raise not your voices above the voice of the Prophet, nor speak aloud to him in talk, as ye may speak aloud to one another, lest your deeds become vain and ye perceive not. |
(আল হুজরাত:
আয়াতঃ ২) |
| 34 |
মরুবাসীরা বলেঃ আমরা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছি। বলুনঃ তোমরা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করনি; বরং বল, আমরা বশ্যতা স্বীকার করেছি। এখনও তোমাদের অন্তরে বিশ্বাস জন্মেনি। যদি তোমরা আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূলের আনুগত্য কর, তবে তোমাদের কর্ম বিন্দুমাত্রও নিস্ফল করা হবে না। নিশ্চয়, আল্লাহ ক্ষমাশীল, পরম মেহেরবান।
The desert Arabs say, "We believe." Say, "Ye have no faith; but ye (only) say, 'We have submitted our wills to Allah,' For not yet has Faith entered your hearts. But if ye obey Allah and His Messenger, He will not belittle aught of your deeds: for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful." |
(আল হুজরাত:
আয়াতঃ ১৪) |
| 35 |
তোমরা তোমাদের কথা গোপনে বল অথবা প্রকাশ্যে বল, তিনি তো অন্তরের বিষয়াদি সম্পর্কে সম্যক অবগত।
And whether ye hide your word or publish it, He certainly has (full) knowledge, of the secrets of (all) hearts. |

অনেক মুখমন্ডল সেদিন হবে উজ্জ্বল,
Some faces that Day will be beaming, |
