“বিতাড়িত শয়তান হতে আল্লাহর নিকট আশ্রয় প্রার্থনা করছি। পরম করুণাময় ও অসীম দয়ালু আল্লাহর নামে আরম্ভ করছি।”

নং আয়াত সূরা
1 বরং আল্লাহই তাদের সাথে উপহাস করেন। আর তাদেরকে তিনি ছেড়ে দিয়েছেন যেন তারা নিজেদের অহংকার ও কুমতলবে হয়রান ও পেরেশান থাকে।
Allah will throw back their mockery on them, and give them rope in their trespasses; so they will wander like blind ones (To and fro).		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ১৫)
2 আর আমি তোমাদের উপর ছায়া দান করেছি মেঘমালার দ্বারা এবং তোমাদের জন্য খাবার পাঠিয়েছি ’মান্না’ ও সালওয়া’। সেসব পবিত্র বস্তু তোমরা ভক্ষন কর, যা আমি তোমাদেরকে দান করেছি। বস্তুতঃ তারা আমার কোন ক্ষতি করতে পারেনি, বরং নিজেদেরই ক্ষতি সাধন করেছে।
And We gave you the shade of clouds and sent down to you Manna and quails, saying: "Eat of the good things We have provided for you:" (But they rebelled); to us they did no harm, but they harmed their own souls.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ৫৭)
3 কি আশ্চর্য, যখন তারা কোন অঙ্গীকারে আবদ্ধ হয়, তখন তাদের একদল তা ছুঁড়ে ফেলে, বরং অধিকাংশই বিশ্বাস করে না।
Is it not (the case) that every time they make a covenant, some party among them throw it aside?- Nay, Most of them are faithless.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ১০০)
4 তারা বলে, আল্লাহ সন্তান গ্রহণ করেছেন। তিনি তো এসব কিছু থেকে পবিত্র, বরং নভোমন্ডল ও ভূমন্ডলে যা কিছু রয়েছে সবই তার আজ্ঞাধীন।
They say: "Allah hath begotten a son": Glory be to Him.-Nay, to Him belongs all that is in the heavens and on earth: everything renders worship to Him.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ১১৬)
5 তারা বলে, তোমরা ইহুদী অথবা খ্রীষ্টান হয়ে যাও, তবেই সুপথ পাবে। আপনি বলুন, কখনই নয়; বরং আমরা ইব্রাহীমের ধর্মে আছি যাতে বক্রতা নেই। সে মুশরিকদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত ছিল না।
They say: "Become Jews or Christians if ye would be guided (To salvation)." Say thou: "Nay! (I would rather) the Religion of Abraham the True, and he joined not gods with Allah."		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ১৩৫)
6 আর যারা আল্লাহর রাস্তায় নিহত হয়, তাদের মৃত বলো না। বরং তারা জীবিত, কিন্তু তোমরা তা বুঝ না।
And say not of those who are slain in the way of Allah: "They are dead." Nay, they are living, though ye perceive (it) not.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ১৫৪)
7 নিঃসন্দেহে সাফা ও মারওয়া আল্লাহ তা’আলার নিদর্শন গুলোর অন্যতম। সুতরাং যারা কা’বা ঘরে হজ্ব বা ওমরাহ পালন করে, তাদের পক্ষে এ দুটিতে প্রদক্ষিণ করাতে কোন দোষ নেই। বরং কেউ যদি স্বেচ্ছায় কিছু নেকীর কাজ করে, তবে আল্লাহ তা’আলার অবশ্যই তা অবগত হবেন এবং তার সে আমলের সঠিক মুল্য দেবেন।
Behold! Safa and Marwa are among the Symbols of Allah. So if those who visit the House in the Season or at other times, should compass them round, it is no sin in them. And if any one obeyeth his own impulse to good,- be sure that Allah is He Who recogniseth and knoweth.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ১৫৮)
8 এরা চিরকাল এ লা’নতের মাঝেই থাকবে। তাদের উপর থেকে আযাব কখনও হালকা করা হবে না বরং এরা বিরাম ও পাবে না।
They will abide therein: Their penalty will not be lightened, nor will respite be their (lot).		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ১৬২)
9 সৎকর্ম শুধু এই নয় যে, পূর্ব কিংবা পশ্চিমদিকে মুখ করবে, বরং বড় সৎকাজ হল এই যে, ঈমান আনবে আল্লাহর উপর কিয়ামত দিবসের উপর, ফেরেশতাদের উপর এবং সমস্ত নবী-রসূলগণের উপর, আর সম্পদ ব্যয় করবে তাঁরই মহব্বতে আত্নীয়-স্বজন, এতীম-মিসকীন, মুসাফির-ভিক্ষুক ও মুক্তিকামী ক্রীতদাসদের জন্যে। আর যারা নামায প্রতিষ্ঠা করে, যাকাত দান করে এবং যারা কৃত প্রতিজ্ঞা সম্পাদনকারী এবং অভাবে, রোগে-শোকে ও যুদ্ধের সময় ধৈর্য্য ধারণকারী তারাই হল সত্যাশ্রয়ী, আর তারাই পরহেযগার।
It is not righteousness that ye turn your faces Towards east or West; but it is righteousness- to believe in Allah and the Last Day, and the Angels, and the Book, and the Messengers; to spend of your substance, out of love for Him, for your kin, for orphans, for the needy, for the wayfarer, for those who ask, and for the ransom of slaves; to be steadfast in prayer, and practice regular charity; to fulfil the contracts which ye have made; and to be firm and patient, in pain (or suffering) and adversity, and throughout all periods of panic. Such are the people of truth, the Allah-fearing.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ১৭৭)
10 আর অতঃপর যখন হজ্জ্বের যাবতীয় অনুষ্ঠানক্রিয়াদি সমাপ্ত করে সারবে, তখন স্মরণ করবে আল্লাহকে, যেমন করে তোমরা স্মরণ করতে নিজেদের বাপ-দাদাদেরকে; বরং তার চেয়েও বেশী স্মরণ করবে। তারপর অনেকে তো বলে যে পরওয়াদেগার! আমাদিগকে দুনিয়াতে দান কর। অথচ তার জন্যে পরকালে কোন অংশ নেই।
So when ye have accomplished your holy rites, celebrate the praises of Allah, as ye used to celebrate the praises of your fathers,- yea, with far more Heart and soul. There are men who say: "Our Lord! Give us (Thy bounties) in this world!" but they will have no portion in the Hereafter.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ২০০)
11 তুমি কি সে লোককে দেখনি যে এমন এক জনপদ দিয়ে যাচ্ছিল যার বাড়ীঘরগুলো ভেঙ্গে ছাদের উপর পড়ে ছিল? বলল, কেমন করে আল্লাহ মরনের পর একে জীবিত করবেন? অতঃপর আল্লাহ তাকে মৃত অবস্থায় রাখলেন একশ বছর। তারপর তাকে উঠালেন। বললেন, কত কাল এভাবে ছিলে? বলল আমি ছিলাম, একদিন কংবা একদিনের কিছু কম সময়। বললেন, তা নয়; বরং তুমি তো একশ বছর ছিলে। এবার চেয়ে দেখ নিজের খাবার ও পানীয়ের দিকে-সেগুলো পচে যায় নি এবং দেখ নিজের গাধাটির দিকে। আর আমি তোমাকে মানুষের জন্য দৃষ্টান্ত বানাতে চেয়েছি। আর হাড়গুলোর দিকে চেয়ে দেখ যে, আমি এগুলোকে কেমন করে জুড়ে দেই এবং সেগুলোর উপর মাংসের আবরণ পরিয়ে দেই। অতঃপর যখন তার উপর এ অবস্থা প্রকাশিত হল, তখন বলে উঠল-আমি জানি, নিঃসন্দেহে আল্লাহ সর্ব বিষয়ে ক্ষমতাশীল।
Or (take) the similitude of one who passed by a hamlet, all in ruins to its roofs. He said: "Oh! how shall Allah bring it (ever) to life, after (this) its death?" but Allah caused him to die for a hundred years, then raised him up (again). He said: "How long didst thou tarry (thus)?" He said: (Perhaps) a day or part of a day." He said: "Nay, thou hast tarried thus a hundred years; but look at thy food and thy drink; they show no signs of age; and look at thy donkey: And that We may make of thee a sign unto the people, Look further at the bones, how We bring them together and clothe them with flesh." When this was shown clearly to him, he said: "I know that Allah hath power over all things."		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ২৫৯)
12 তাদেরকে সৎপথে আনার দায় তোমার নয়। বরং আল্লাহ যাকে ইচ্ছা সৎপথে পরিচালিত করেন। যে মাল তোমরা ব্যয় কর, তা নিজ উপাকারার্থেই কর। আল্লাহর সন্তুষ্টি ছাড়া অন্য কোন উদ্দেশ্যে ব্যয় করো না। তোমরা যে, অর্থ ব্যয় করবে, তার পুরস্কার পুরোপুরি পেয়ে যাবে এবং তোমাদের প্রতি অন্যায় করা হবে না।
It is not required of thee (O Messenger), to set them on the right path, but Allah sets on the right path whom He pleaseth. Whatever of good ye give benefits your own souls, and ye shall only do so seeking the "Face" of Allah. Whatever good ye give, shall be rendered back to you, and ye shall not Be dealt with unjustly.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ২৭২)
13 কোন মানুষকে আল্লাহ কিতাব, হেকমত ও নবুওয়ত দান করার পর সে বলবে যে, ‘তোমরা আল্লাহকে পরিহার করে আমার বান্দা হয়ে যাও’-এটা সম্ভব নয়। বরং তারা বলবে, ‘তোমরা আল্লাহওয়ালা হয়ে যাও, যেমন, তোমরা কিতাব শিখাতে এবং যেমন তোমরা নিজেরা ও পড়তে।
It is not (possible) that a man, to whom is given the Book, and Wisdom, and the prophetic office, should say to people: "Be ye my worshippers rather than Allah's": on the contrary (He would say) "Be ye worshippers of Him Who is truly the Cherisher of all: For ye have taught the Book and ye have studied it earnestly."		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ৭৯)
14 বরং আল্লাহ তোমাদের সাহায্যকারী, আর তাঁর সাহায্যই হচ্ছে উত্তম সাহায্য।
Nay, Allah is your protector, and He is the best of helpers.		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১৫০)
15 আর যারা আল্লাহর রাহে নিহত হয়, তাদেরকে তুমি কখনো মৃত মনে করো না। বরং তারা নিজেদের পালনকর্তার নিকট জীবিত ও জীবিকাপ্রাপ্ত।
Think not of those who are slain in Allah's way as dead. Nay, they live, finding their sustenance in the presence of their Lord;		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১৬৯)
16 আল্লাহ তাদেরকে নিজের অনুগ্রহে যা দান করেছেন তাতে যারা কৃপণতা করে এই কার্পন্য তাদের জন্য মঙ্গলকর হবে বলে তারা যেন ধারণা না করে। বরং এটা তাদের পক্ষে একান্তই ক্ষতিকর প্রতিপন্ন হবে। যাতে তারা কার্পন্য করে সে সমস্ত ধন-সম্পদকে কিয়ামতের দিন তাদের গলায় বেড়ী বানিয়ে পরানো হবে। আর আল্লাহ হচ্ছেন আসমান ও যমীনের পরম সত্ত্বাধিকারী। আর যা কিছু তোমরা কর; আল্লাহ সে সম্পর্কে জানেন।
And let not those who covetously withhold of the gifts which Allah Hath given them of His Grace, think that it is good for them: Nay, it will be the worse for them: soon shall the things which they covetously withheld be tied to their necks Like a twisted collar, on the Day of Judgment. To Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is well-acquainted with all that ye do.		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১৮০)
17 আর যে সম্পদকে আল্লাহ তোমাদের জীবন-যাত্রার অবলম্বন করেছেন, তা অর্বাচীনদের হাতে তুলে দিও না। বরং তা থেকে তাদেরকে খাওয়াও, পরাও এবং তাদেরকে সান্তনার বানী শোনাও।
To those weak of understanding Make not over your property, which Allah hath made a means of support for you, but feed and clothe them therewith, and speak to them words of kindness and justice.		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ৫)
18 অতএব, তারা যে শাস্তিপ্রাপ্ত হয়েছিল, তা ছিল তাদেরই অঙ্গীকার ভঙ্গর জন্য এবং অন্যায়ভাবে রসূলগণকে হত্যা করার কারণে এবং তাদের এই উক্তির দরুন যে, আমাদের হৃদয় আচ্ছন্ন। অবশ্য তা নয়, বরং কুফরীর কারণে স্বয়ং আল্লাহ তাদের অন্তরের উপর মোহর এঁটে দিয়েছেন। ফলে এরা ঈমান আনে না কিন্তু অতি অল্পসংখ্যক।
(They have incurred divine displeasure): In that they broke their covenant; that they rejected the signs of Allah; that they slew the Messengers in defiance of right; that they said, "Our hearts are the wrappings (which preserve Allah's Word; We need no more)";- Nay, Allah hath set the seal on their hearts for their blasphemy, and little is it they believe;-		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১৫৫)
19 আর তাদের একথা বলার কারণে যে, আমরা মরিয়ম পুত্র ঈসা মসীহকে হত্যা করেছি যিনি ছিলেন আল্লাহর রসূল। অথচ তারা না তাঁকে হত্যা করেছে, আর না শুলীতে চড়িয়েছে, বরং তারা এরূপ ধাঁধায় পতিত হয়েছিল। বস্তুতঃ তারা এ ব্যাপারে নানা রকম কথা বলে, তারা এক্ষেত্রে সন্দেহের মাঝে পড়ে আছে, শুধুমাত্র অনুমান করা ছাড়া তারা এ বিষয়ে কোন খবরই রাখে না। আর নিশ্চয়ই তাঁকে তারা হত্যা করেনি।
That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah";- but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not:-		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১৫৭)
20 বরং তাঁকে উঠিয়ে নিয়েছেন আল্লাহ তা’আলা নিজের কাছে। আর আল্লাহ হচ্ছেন মহাপরাক্রমশালী, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
Nay, Allah raised him up unto Himself; and Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise;-		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১৫৮)
21 অতঃপর যারা ঈমান এনেছে এবং সৎকাজ করেছে, তিনি তাদেরকে পরিপূর্ণ সওয়াব দান করবেন, বরং স্বীয় অনুগ্রহে আরো বেশী দেবেন। পক্ষান্তরে যারা লজ্জাবোধ করেছে এবং অহঙ্কার করেছে তিনি তাদেরকে দেবেন বেদনাদায়ক আযাব। আল্লাহকে ছাড়া তারা কোন সাহায্যকারী ও সমর্থক পাবে না।
But to those who believe and do deeds of righteousness, He will give their (due) rewards,- and more, out of His bounty: But those who are disdainful and arrogant, He will punish with a grievous penalty; Nor will they find, besides Allah, any to protect or help them.		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১৭৩)
22 তোমাদের জন্যে হারাম করা হয়েছে মৃত জীব, রক্ত, শুকরের মাংস, যেসব জন্তু আল্লাহ ছাড়া অন্যের নামে উৎসর্গকৃত হয়, যা কন্ঠরোধে মারা যায়, যা আঘাত লেগে মারা যায়, যা উচ্চ স্থান থেকে পতনের ফলে মারা যা, যা শিং এর আঘাতে মারা যায় এবং যাকে হিংস্র জন্তু ভক্ষণ করেছে, কিন্তু যাকে তোমরা যবেহ করেছ। যে জন্তু যজ্ঞবেদীতে যবেহ করা হয় এবং যা ভাগ্য নির্ধারক শর দ্বারা বন্টন করা হয়। এসব গোনাহর কাজ। আজ কাফেররা তোমাদের দ্বীন থেকে নিরাশ হয়ে গেছে। অতএব তাদেরকে ভয় করো না বরং আমাকে ভয় কর। আজ আমি তোমাদের জন্যে তোমাদের দ্বীনকে পূর্নাঙ্গ করে দিলাম, তোমাদের প্রতি আমার অবদান সম্পূর্ণ করে দিলাম এবং ইসলামকে তোমাদের জন্যে দ্বীন হিসেবে পছন্দ করলাম। অতএব যে ব্যাক্তি তীব্র ক্ষুধায় কাতর হয়ে পড়ে; কিন্তু কোন গোনাহর প্রতি প্রবণতা না থাকে, তবে নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ তা’আলা ক্ষমাশীল।
Forbidden to you (for food) are: dead meat, blood, the flesh of swine, and that on which hath been invoked the name of other than Allah; that which hath been killed by strangling, or by a violent blow, or by a headlong fall, or by being gored to death; that which hath been (partly) eaten by a wild animal; unless ye are able to slaughter it (in due form); that which is sacrificed on stone (altars); (forbidden) also is the division (of meat) by raffling with arrows: that is impiety. This day have those who reject faith given up all hope of your religion: yet fear them not but fear Me. This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion. But if any is forced by hunger, with no inclination to transgression, Allah is indeed Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৩)
23 ইহুদী ও খ্রীষ্টানরা বলে, আমরা আল্লাহর সন্তান ও তাঁর প্রিয়জন। আপনি বলুন, তবে তিনি তোমাদেরকে পাপের বিনিময়ে কেন শাস্তি দান করবেন? বরং তোমারও অন্যান্য সৃষ্ট মানবের অন্তর্ভুক্ত সাধারণ মানুষ। তিনি যাকে ইচ্ছা ক্ষমা করেন এবং যাকে ইচ্ছা শাস্তি প্রদান করেন। নভোমন্ডল, ভুমন্ডল ও এতদুভয়ের মধ্যে যা কিছু আছে, তাতে আল্লাহরই আধিপত্য রয়েছে এবং তাঁর দিকেই প্রত্যাবর্তন করতে হবে।
(Both) the Jews and the Christians say: "We are sons of Allah, and his beloved." Say: "Why then doth He punish you for your sins? Nay, ye are but men,- of the men he hath created: He forgiveth whom He pleaseth, and He punisheth whom He pleaseth: and to Allah belongeth the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between: and unto Him is the final goal (of all)"		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১৮)
24 আর ইহুদীরা বলেঃ আল্লাহর হাত বন্ধ হয়ে গেছে। তাদেরই হাত বন্ধ হোক। একথা বলার জন্যে তাদের প্রতি অভিসম্পাত। বরং তাঁর উভয় হস্ত উম্মুক্ত। তিনি যেরূপ ইচ্ছা ব্যয় করেন। আপনার প্রতি পলনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে যে কালাম অবর্তীণ হয়েছে, তার কারণে তাদের অনেকের অবাধ্যতা ও কুফর পরিবর্ধিত হবে। আমি তাদের পরস্পরের মধ্যে কেয়ামত পর্যন্ত শত্রুতা ও বিদ্বেষ সঞ্চারিত করে দিয়েছি। তারা যখনই যুদ্ধের আগুন প্রজ্জ?482;িত করে, আল্লাহ তা নির্বাপিত করে দেন। তারা দেশে অশান্তি উৎপাদন করে বেড়ায়। আল্লাহ অশান্তি ও বিশৃঙ্খলা সৃষ্টিকারীদেরকে পছন্দ করেন না।
The Jews say: "Allah's hand is tied up." Be their hands tied up and be they accursed for the (blasphemy) they utter. Nay, both His hands are widely outstretched: He giveth and spendeth (of His bounty) as He pleaseth. But the revelation that cometh to thee from Allah increaseth in most of them their obstinate rebellion and blasphemy. Amongst them we have placed enmity and hatred till the Day of Judgment. Every time they kindle the fire of war, Allah doth extinguish it; but they (ever) strive to do mischief on earth. And Allah loveth not those who do mischief.		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৬৪)
25 আমার জানা আছে যে, তাদের উক্তি আপনাকে দুঃখিত করে। অতএব, তারা আপনাকে মিথ্যা প্রতিপন্ন করে না, বরং জালেমরা আল্লাহর নিদর্শনাবলীকে অস্বীকার করে।
We know indeed the grief which their words do cause thee: It is not thee they reject: it is the signs of Allah, which the wicked contemn.		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ৩৩)
26 বরং তোমরা তো তাঁকেই ডাকবে। অতঃপর যে বিপদের জন্যে তাঁকে ডাকবে, তিনি ইচ্ছা করলে তা দুরও করে দেন। যাদেরকে অংশীদার করছ, তখন তাদেরকে ভুলে যাবে।
"Nay,- On Him would ye call, and if it be His will, He would remove (the distress) which occasioned your call upon Him, and ye would forget (the false gods) which ye join with Him!"		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ৪১)
27 সে বললঃ হে আমার সম্প্রদায়, আমি মোটেই নির্বোধ নই, বরং আমি বিশ্ব প্রতিপালকের প্রেরিত পয়গম্বর।
He said: "O my people! I am no imbecile, but (I am) a messenger from the Lord and Cherisher of the worlds!		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৬৭)
28 তোমরা তো কামবশতঃ পুরুষদের কাছে গমন কর নারীদেরকে ছেড়ে। বরং তোমরা সীমা অতিক্রম করেছ।
"For ye practise your lusts on men in preference to women: ye are indeed a people transgressing beyond bounds."		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৮১)
29 আর তাদের অধিকাংশ লোককেই আমি প্রতিজ্ঞা বাস্তবায়নকারীরূপে পাইনি; বরং তাদের অধিকাংশকে পেয়েছি হুকুম অমান্যকারী।
Most of them We found not men (true) to their covenant: but most of them We found rebellious and disobedient.		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১০২)
30 আর আমি পৃথক পৃথক করে দিয়েছি তাদের বার জন পিতামহের সন্তানদেরকে বিরাট বিরাট দলে, এবং নির্দেশ দিয়েছি মুসাকে, যখন তার কাছে তার সম্প্রদায় পানি চাইল যে, স্বীয় যষ্টির দ্বারা আঘাত কর এ পাথরের উপর। অতঃপর এর ভেতর থেকে ফুটে বের হল বারটি প্রস্রবণ। প্রতিটি গোত্র চিনে নিল নিজ নিজ ঘাঁটি। আর আমি ছায়া দান করলাম তাদের উপর মেঘের এবং তাদের জন্য অবতীর্ন করলাম মান্না ও সালওয়া। যে পরিচ্ছন্ন বস্তুত জীবিকারূপে আমি তোমাদের দিয়েছি, তা থেকে তোমরা ভক্ষণ কর। বস্তুতঃ তারা আমার কোন ক্ষতি করেনি, বরং ক্ষতি করেছে নিজেদেরই।
We divided them into twelve tribes or nations. We directed Moses by inspiration, when his (thirsty) people asked him for water: "Strike the rock with thy staff": out of it there gushed forth twelve springs: Each group knew its own place for water. We gave them the shade of clouds, and sent down to them manna and quails, (saying): "Eat of the good things We have provided for you": (but they rebelled); to Us they did no harm, but they harmed their own souls. আয়াতঃ ১৬০)
31 আর আমি সৃষ্টি করেছি দোযখের জন্য বহু জ্বিন ও মানুষ। তাদের অন্তর রয়েছে, তার দ্বারা বিবেচনা করে না, তাদের চোখ রয়েছে, তার দ্বারা দেখে না, আর তাদের কান রয়েছে, তার দ্বারা শোনে না। তারা চতুষ্পদ জন্তুর মত; বরং তাদের চেয়েও নিকৃষ্টতর। তারাই হল গাফেল, শৈথিল্যপরায়ণ।
Many are the Jinns and men we have made for Hell: They have hearts wherewith they understand not, eyes wherewith they see not, and ears wherewith they hear not. They are like cattle,- nay more misguided: for they are heedless (of warning).		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৭৯)
32 তারা কি এমন কাউকে শরীক সাব্যস্ত করে, যে একটি বস্তুও সৃষ্টি করেনি, বরং তাদেরকে সৃষ্টি করা হয়েছে।
Do they indeed ascribe to Him as partners things that can create nothing, but are themselves created?		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৯১)
33 সুতরাং তোমরা তাদেরকে হত্যা করনি, বরং আল্লাহই তাদেরকে হত্যা করেছেন। আর তুমি মাটির মুষ্ঠি নিক্ষেপ করনি, যখন তা নিক্ষেপ করেছিলে, বরং তা নিক্ষেপ করেছিলেন আল্লাহ স্বয়ং যেন ঈমানদারদের প্রতি এহসান করতে পারেন যথার্থভাবে। নিঃসন্দেহে আল্লাহ শ্রবণকারী; পরিজ্ঞাত।
It is not ye who slew them; it was Allah: when thou threwest (a handful of dust), it was not thy act, but Allah's: in order that He might test the Believers by a gracious trial from Himself: for Allah is He Who heareth and knoweth (all things).		 (আল-আনফাল:
আয়াতঃ ১৭)
34 আল্লাহ জুলুম করেন না মানুষের উপর, বরং মানুষ নিজেই নিজের উপর জুলুম করে।
Verily Allah will not deal unjustly with man in aught: It is man that wrongs his own soul.		 (ইউনুস:
আয়াতঃ ৪৪)
35 তখন তাঁর কওমের কাফের প্রধানরা বলল আমরা তো আপনাকে আমাদের মত একজন মানুষ ব্যতীত আর কিছু মনে করি না; আর আমাদের মধ্যে যারা ইতর ও স্থুল-বুদ্ধিসম্পন্ন তারা ব্যতীত কাউকে তো আপনার আনুগত্য করতে দেখি না এবং আমাদের উপর আপনাদের কেন প্রাধান্য দেখি না, বরং আপনারা সবাই মিথ্যাবাদী বলে আমারা মনে করি।
But the chiefs of the Unbelievers among his people said: "We see (in) thee nothing but a man like ourselves: Nor do we see that any follow thee but the meanest among us, in judgment immature: Nor do we see in you (all) any merit above us: in fact we think ye are liars!"		 (হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ২৭)
36 বরং আমরাও তো বলি যে, আমাদের কোন দেবতা তোমার উপরে শোচনীয় ভূত চাপিয়ে দিয়েছে। হুদ বললেন-আমি আল্লাহকে সাক্ষী করেছি আর তোমাও সাক্ষী থাক যে, আমার কোন সম্পর্ক নাই তাঁদের সাথে যাদের কে তোমরা শরিক করছ;
"We say nothing but that (perhaps) some of our gods may have seized thee with imbecility." He said: "I call Allah to witness, and do ye bear witness, that I am free from the sin of ascribing, to Him,		 (হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ৫৪)
37 আমি কিন্তু তাদের প্রতি জুলুম করি নাই বরং তারা নিজেরাই নিজের উপর অবিচার করেছে। ফলে আল্লাহকে বাদ দিয়ে তারা যেসব মাবুদকে ডাকতো আপনার পালনকর্তার হুকুম যখন এসে পড়ল, তখন কেউ কোন কাজে আসল না। তারা শুধু বিপর্যয়ই বৃদ্ধি করল।
It was not We that wronged them: They wronged their own souls: the deities, other than Allah, whom they invoked, profited them no whit when there issued the decree of thy Lord: Nor did they add aught (to their lot) but perdition!		 (হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ১০১)
38 তাদের মধ্য থেকে একজন বলল, তোমরা ইউসুফ কে হত্যা করো না, বরং ফেলে দাও তাকে অন্ধকূপে যাতে কোন পথিক তাকে উঠিয়ে নিয়ে যায়, যদি তোমাদের কিছু করতেই হয়।
Said one of them: "Slay not Joseph, but if ye must do something, throw him down to the bottom of the well: he will be picked up by some caravan of travellers."		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ১০)
39 এবং তারা তার জামায় কৃত্রিম রক্ত লাগিয়ে আনল। বললেনঃ এটা কখনই নয়; বরং তোমাদের মন তোমাদেরকে একটা কথা সাজিয়ে দিয়েছে। সুতরাং এখন ছবর করাই শ্রেয়। তোমরা যা বর্ণনা করছ, সে বিষয়ে একমাত্র আল্লাহই আমার সাহায্য স্থল।
They stained his shirt with false blood. He said: "Nay, but your minds have made up a tale (that may pass) with you, (for me) patience is most fitting: Against that which ye assert, it is Allah (alone) Whose help can be sought"..		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৮)
40 ইয়াকুব বললেনঃ হে আমার বৎসগণ! সবাই একই প্রবেশদ্বার দিয়ে যেয়ো না, বরং পৃথক পৃথক দরজা দিয়ে প্রবেশ করো। আল্লাহর কোন বিধান থেকে আমি তোমাদেরকে রক্ষা করতে পারি না। নির্দেশ আল্লাহরই চলে। তাঁরই উপর আমি ভরসা করি এবং তাঁরই উপর ভরসা করা উচিত ভরসাকারীদের।
Further he said: "O my sons! enter not all by one gate: enter ye by different gates. Not that I can profit you aught against Allah (with my advice): None can command except Allah: On Him do I put my trust: and let all that trust put their trust on Him."		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৬৭)
41 যদি কোন কোরআন এমন হত, যার সাহায্যে পাহাড় চলমান হয় অথবা যমীন খন্ডিত হয় অথবা মৃতরা কথা বলে, তবে কি হত? বরং সব কাজ তো আল্লাহর হাতে। ঈমানদাররা কি এ ব্যাপারে নিশ্চিত নয় যে, যদি আল্লাহ চাইতেন, তবে সব মানুষকে সৎপথে পরিচালিত করতেন? কাফেররা তাদের কৃতকর্মের কারণে সব সময় আঘাত পেতে থাকবে অথবা তাদের গৃহের নিকটবর্তী স্থানে আঘাত নেমে আসবে, যে, পর্যন্ত আল্লাহর ওয়াদা না আসে। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ ওয়াদার খেলাফ করেন না।
If there were a Qur'an with which mountains were moved, or the earth were cloven asunder, or the dead were made to speak, (this would be the one!) But, truly, the command is with Allah in all things! Do not the Believers know, that, had Allah (so) willed, He could have guided all mankind (to the right)? But the Unbelievers,- never will disaster cease to seize them for their (ill) deeds, or to settle close to their homes, until the promise of Allah come to pass, for, verily, Allah will not fail in His promise.		 (রা'দ:
আয়াতঃ ৩১)
42 ওরা প্রত্যেকেই কি মাথার উপর স্ব স্ব কৃতকর্ম নিয়ে দন্ডায়মান নয়? এবং তারা আল্লাহর জন্য অংশীদার সাব্যস্ত করে। বলুন; নাম বল অথবা খবর দাও পৃথিবীর এমন কিছু জিনিস সম্পর্কে যা তিনি জানেন না? অথবা অসার কথাবার্তা বলছ? বরং সুশোভিত করা হয়েছে কাফেরদের জন্যে তাদের প্রতারণাকে এবং তাদেরকে সৎপথ থেকে বাধা দান করা হয়েছে। আল্লাহ যাকে পথভ্রষ্ট করেন, তার কোন পথ প্রদর্শক নেই।
Is then He who standeth over every soul (and knoweth) all that it doth, (like any others)? And yet they ascribe partners to Allah. Say: "But name them! is it that ye will inform Him of something he knoweth not on earth, or is it (just) a show of words?" Nay! to those who believe not, their pretence seems pleasing, but they are kept back (thereby) from the path. And those whom Allah leaves to stray, no one can guide.		 (রা'দ:
আয়াতঃ ৩৩)
43 তবুও ওরা একথাই বলবে যে, আমাদের দৃষ্টির বিভ্রাট ঘটানো হয়েছে না বরং আমরা যাদুগ্রস্ত হয়ে পড়েছি।
They would only say: "Our eyes have been intoxicated: Nay, we have been bewitched by sorcery."		 (হিজর:
আয়াতঃ ১৫)
44 তারা বললঃ না বরং আমরা আপনার কাছে ঐ বস্তু নিয়ে এসেছি, যে সম্পর্কে তারা বিবাদ করত।
They said: "Yea, we have come to thee to accomplish that of which they doubt.		 (হিজর:
আয়াতঃ ৬৩)
45 এবং যারা আল্লাহকে ছেড়ে অন্যদের ডাকে, ওরা তো কোন বস্তুই সৃষ্টি করে না; বরং ওরা নিজেরাই সৃজিত।
Those whom they invoke besides Allah create nothing and are themselves created.		 (নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ২০)
46 এবং যখন আমি এক আয়াতের স্থলে অন্য আয়াত উপস্থিত করি এবং আল্লাহ যা অবতীর্ণ করেন তিনিই সে সম্পর্কে ভাল জানেন; তখন তারা বলেঃ আপনি তো মনগড়া উক্তি করেন; বরং তাদের অধিকাংশ লোকই জানে না।
When We substitute one revelation for another,- and Allah knows best what He reveals (in stages),- they say, "Thou art but a forger": but most of them understand not.		 (নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ১০১)
47 মূসা বললেনঃ বরং তোমরাই নিক্ষেপ কর। তাদের যাদুর প্রভাবে হঠাৎ তাঁর মনে হল, যেন তাদের রশিগুলো ও লাঠিগুলো চুটাছুটি করছে।
He said, "Nay, throw ye first!" Then behold their ropes and their rods-so it seemed to him on account of their magic - began to be in lively motion!		 (ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ৬৬)
48 বরং আমি সত্যকে মিথ্যার উপর নিক্ষেপ করি, অতঃপর সত্য মিথ্যার মস্তক চুর্ণ-বিচূর্ণ করে দেয়, অতঃপর মিথ্যা তৎক্ষণাৎ নিশ্চিহ্ন হয়ে যায়। তোমরা যা বলছ, তার জন্যে তোমাদের দুর্ভোগ।
Nay, We hurl the Truth against falsehood, and it knocks out its brain, and behold, falsehood doth perish! Ah! woe be to you for the (false) things ye ascribe (to Us).		 (আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ১৮)
49 তারা কি আল্লাহ ব্যতীত অন্যান্য উপাস্য গ্রহণ করেছে? বলুন, তোমরা তোমাদের প্রমাণ আন। এটাই আমার সঙ্গীদের কথা এবং এটাই আমার পুর্ববর্তীদের কথা। বরং তাদের অধিকাংশই সত্য জানে না; অতএব তারা টালবাহানা করে।
Or have they taken for worship (other) gods besides him? Say, "Bring your convincing proof: this is the Message of those with me and the Message of those before me." But most of them know not the Truth, and so turn away.		 (আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ২৪)
50 তারা বললঃ দয়াময় আল্লাহ সন্তান গ্রহণ করেছে। তাঁর জন্য কখনও ইহা যোগ্য নয়; বরং তারা তো তাঁর সম্মানিত বান্দা।
And they say: "(Allah) Most Gracious has begotten offspring." Glory to Him! they are (but) servants raised to honour.		 (আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ২৬)
51 বরং তা আসবে তাদের উপর অতর্কিত ভাবে, অতঃপর তাদেরকে তা হতবুদ্ধি করে দেবে, তখন তারা তা রোধ করতেও পারবে না এবং তাদেরকে অবকাশও দেয়া হবে না।
Nay, it may come to them all of a sudden and confound them: no power will they have then to avert it, nor will they (then) get respite.		 (আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৪০)
52 বলুনঃ ‘রহমান’ থেকে কে তোমাদেরকে হেফাযত করবে রাত্রে ও দিনে। বরং তারা তাদের পালনকর্তার স্মরণ থেকে মুখ ফিরিয়ে রাখে।
Say: "Who can keep you safe by night and by day from (the Wrath of) (Allah) Most Gracious?" Yet they turn away from the mention of their Lord.		 (আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৪২)
53 বরং আমি তাদেরকে এবং তাদের বাপ-দাদাকে ভোগসম্বার দিয়েছিলাম, এমনকি তাদের আয়ুস্কালও দীর্ঘ হয়েছিল। তারা কি দেখে না যে, আমি তাদের দেশকে চতুর্দিক থেকে হ্রাস করে আনছি। এরপরও কি তারা বিজয়ী হবে?
Nay, We gave the good things of this life to these men and their fathers until the period grew long for them; See they not that We gradually reduce the land (in their control) from its outlying borders? Is it then they who will win?		 (আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৪৪)
54 আমোঘ প্রতিশ্রুত সময় নিকটবর্তী হলে কাফেরদের চক্ষু উচ্চে স্থির হয়ে যাবে; হায় আমাদের দূর্ভাগ্য, আমরা এ বিষয়ে বেখবর ছিলাম; বরং আমরা গোনাহগরই ছিলাম।
Then will the true promise draw nigh (of fulfilment): then behold! the eyes of the Unbelievers will fixedly stare in horror: "Ah! Woe to us! we were indeed heedless of this; nay, we truly did wrong!"		 (আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৯৭)
55 তাতে করে তাদেরকে দ্রুত মঙ্গলের দিকে নিয়ে যাচ্ছি? বরং তারা বোঝে না।
We would hasten them on in every good? Nay, they do not understand.		 (আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ৫৬)
56 না তারা বলে যে, তিনি পাগল ? বরং তিনি তাদের কাছে সত্য নিয়ে আগমন করেছেন এবং তাদের অধিকাংশ সত্যকে অপছন্দ করে।
Or do they say, "He is possessed"? Nay, he has brought them the Truth, but most of them hate the Truth.		 (আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ৭০)
57 সত্য যদি তাদের কাছে কামনা-বাসনার অনুসারী হত, তবে নভোমন্ডল ও ভূমন্ডল এবং এগুলোর মধ্যবর্তꦣ2496; সবকিছুই বিশৃঙ্খল হয়ে পড়ত। বরং আমি তাদেরকে দান করেছি উপদেশ, কিন্তু তারা তাদের উপদেশ অনুধাবন করে না।
If the Truth had been in accord with their desires, truly the heavens and the earth, and all beings therein would have been in confusion and corruption! Nay, We have sent them their admonition, but they turn away from their admonition.		 (আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ৭১)
58 বরং তারা বলে যেমন তাদের পূর্ববর্তীরা বলত।
On the contrary they say things similar to what the ancients said.		 (আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ৮১)
59 যারা মিথ্যা অপবাদ রটনা করেছে, তারা তোমাদেরই একটি দল। তোমরা একে নিজেদের জন্যে খারাপ মনে করো না; বরং এটা তোমাদের জন্যে মঙ্গলজনক। তাদের প্রত্যেকের জন্যে ততটুকু আছে যতটুকু সে গোনাহ করেছে এবং তাদের মধ্যে যে এ ব্যাপারে অগ্রণী ভূমিকা নিয়েছে, তার জন্যে রয়েছে বিরাট শাস্তি।
Those who brought forward the lie are a body among yourselves: think it not to be an evil to you; On the contrary it is good for you: to every man among them (will come the punishment) of the sin that he earned, and to him who took on himself the lead among them, will be a penalty grievous.		 (আন-নূর:
আয়াতঃ ১১)
60 তাদের অন্তরে কি রোগ আছে, না তারা ধোঁকায় পড়ে আছে; না তারা ভয় করে যে, আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রাসূল তাদের প্রতি অবিচার করবেন? বরং তারাই তো অবিচারকারী ?
Is it that there is a disease in their hearts? or do they doubt, or are they in fear, that Allah and His Messenger will deal unjustly with them? Nay, it is they themselves who do wrong.		 (আন-নূর:
আয়াতঃ ৫০)
61 বরং তারা কেয়ামতকে অস্বীকার করে এবং যে কেয়ামতকে অস্বীকার করে, আমি তার জন্যে অগ্নি প্রস্তুত করেছি।
Nay they deny the hour (of the judgment to come): but We have prepared a blazing fire for such as deny the hour:		 (আল-ফুরকান:
আয়াতঃ ১১)
62 তারা তো সেই জনপদের উপর দিয়েই যাতায়াত করে, যার ওপর বর্ষিত হয়েছে মন্দ বৃষ্টি। তবে কি তারা তা প্রত্যক্ষ করে না? বরং তারা পুনরুজ্জীবনের আশঙ্কা করে না।
And the (Unbelievers) must indeed have passed by the town on which was rained a shower of evil: did they not then see it (with their own eyes)? But they fear not the Resurrection.		 (আল-ফুরকান:
আয়াতঃ ৪০)
63 আপনি কি মনে করেন যে, তাদের অধিকাংশ শোনে অথবা বোঝে ? তারা তো চতুস্পদ জন্তুর মত; বরং আরও পথভ্রান্ত
Or thinkest thou that most of them listen or understand? They are only like cattle;- nay, they are worse astray in Path.		 (আল-ফুরকান:
আয়াতঃ ৪৪)
64 এবং তোমাদের পালনকর্তা তোমাদের জন্যে যে স্ত্রীগনকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন, তাদেরকে বর্জন কর? বরং তোমরা সীমালঙ্ঘনকারী সম্প্রদায়।
"And leave those whom Allah has created for you to be your mates? Nay, ye are a people transgressing (all limits)!"		 (আশ-শো'আরা:
আয়াতঃ ১৬৬)
65 অতঃপর যখন দূত সুলায়মানের কাছে আগমন করল, তখন সুলায়মান বললেন, তোমরা কি ধনসম্পদ দ্বারা আমাকে সাহায্য করতে চাও? আল্লাহ আমাকে যা দিয়েছেন, তা তোমাদেরকে প্রদত্ত বস্তু থেকে উত্তম। বরং তোমরাই তোমাদের উপঢৌকন নিয়ে সুখে থাক।
Now when (the embassy) came to Solomon, he said: "Will ye give me abundance in wealth? But that which Allah has given me is better than that which He has given you! Nay it is ye who rejoice in your gift!		 (নমল:
আয়াতঃ ৩৬)
66 তারা বলল, তোমাকে এবং তোমার সাথে যারা আছে, তাদেরকে আমরা অকল্যাণের প্রতীক মনে করি। সালেহ বললেন, তোমাদের মঙ্গলামঙ্গল আল্লাহর কাছে; বরং তোমরা এমন সম্প্রদায়, যাদেরকে পরীক্ষা করা হচ্ছে।
They said: "Ill omen do we augur from thee and those that are with thee". He said: "Your ill omen is with Allah; yea, ye are a people under trial."		 (নমল:
আয়াতঃ ৪৭)
67 বল তো কে সৃষ্টি করেছেন নভোমন্ডল ও ভূমন্ডল এবং আকাশ থেকে তোমাদের জন্যে বর্ষণ করেছেন পানি; অতঃপর তা দ্বারা আমি মনোরম বাগান সৃষ্টি করেছি। তার বৃক্ষাদি উৎপন্ন করার শক্তিই তোমাদের নেই। অতএব, আল্লাহর সাথে অন্য কোন উপাস্য আছে কি? বরং তারা সত্যবিচ্যুত সম্প্রদায়।
Or, Who has created the heavens and the earth, and Who sends you down rain from the sky? Yea, with it We cause to grow well-planted orchards full of beauty of delight: it is not in your power to cause the growth of the trees in them. (Can there be another) god besides Allah? Nay, they are a people who swerve from justice.		 (নমল:
আয়াতঃ ৬০)
68 বল তো কে পৃথিবীকে বাসোপযোগী করেছেন এবং তার মাঝে মাঝে নদ-নদী প্রবাহিত করেছেন এবং তাকে স্থিত রাখার জন্যে পর্বত স্থাপন করেছেন এবং দুই সমুদ্রের মাঝখানে অন্তরায় রেখেছেন। অতএব, আল্লাহর সাথে অন্য কোন উপাস্য আছে কি? বরং তাদের অধিকাংশই জানে না।
Or, Who has made the earth firm to live in; made rivers in its midst; set thereon mountains immovable; and made a separating bar between the two bodies of flowing water? (can there be another) god besides Allah? Nay, most of them know not.		 (নমল:
আয়াতঃ ৬১)
69 বরং পরকাল সম্পর্কে তাদের জ্ঞান নিঃশেষ হয়ে গেছে; বরং তারা এ বিষয়ে সন্দেহ পোষন করছে বরং এ বিষয়ে তারা অন্ধ।
Still less can their knowledge comprehend the Hereafter: Nay, they are in doubt and uncertainty thereanent; nay, they are blind thereunto!		 (নমল:
আয়াতঃ ৬৬)
70 বরং যাদেরকে জ্ঞান দেয়া হয়েছে, তাদের অন্তরে ইহা (কোরআন) তো স্পষ্ট আয়াত। কেবল বে-ইনসাফরাই আমার আয়াতসমূহ অস্বীকার করে।
Nay, here are Signs self-evident in the hearts of those endowed with knowledge: and none but the unjust reject Our Signs.		 (আল আনকাবুত:
আয়াতঃ ৪৯)
71 বরং যারা যে-ইনসাফ, তারা অজ্ঞানতাবশতঃ তাদের খেয়াল-খূশীর অনুসরণ করে থাকে। অতএব, আল্লাহ যাকে পথভ্রষ্ট করেন, তাকে কে বোঝাবে? তাদের কোন সাহায্যকারী নেই।
Nay, the wrong-doers (merely) follow their own lusts, being devoid of knowledge. But who will guide those whom Allah leaves astray? To them there will be no helpers.		 (আর-রূম:
আয়াতঃ ২৯)
72 এটা আল্লাহর সৃষ্টি; অতঃপর তিনি ব্যতীত অন্যেরা যা সৃষ্টি করেছে, তা আমাকে দেখাও। বরং জালেমরা সুস্পষ্ট পথভ্রষ্টতায় পতিত আছে।
Such is the Creation of Allah: now show Me what is there that others besides Him have created: nay, but the Transgressors are in manifest error.		 (লোকমান:
আয়াতঃ ১১)
73 তাদেরকে যখন বলা হয়, আল্লাহ যা নাযিল করেছেন, তোমরা তার অনুসরণ কর, তখন তারা বলে, বরং আমরা আমাদের পূর্বপুরুষদেরকে যে বিষয়ের উপর পেয়েছি, তারই অনুসরণ করব। শয়তান যদি তাদেরকে জাহান্নামের শাস্তির দিকে দাওয়াত দেয়, তবুও কি?
When they are told to follow the (Revelation) that Allah has sent down, they say: "Nay, we shall follow the ways that we found our fathers (following). "What! even if it is Satan beckoning them to the Penalty of the (Blazing) Fire?		 (লোকমান:
আয়াতঃ ২১)
74 আপনি যদি তাদেরকে জিজ্ঞেস করেন, নভোমন্ডল ও ভূ-মন্ডল কে সৃষ্টি করেছে? তারা অবশ্যই বলবে, আল্লাহ। বলুন, সকল প্রশংসাই আল্লাহর। বরং তাদের অধিকাংশই জ্ঞান রাখে না।
If thou ask them, who it is that created the heavens and the earth. They will certainly say, "Allah". Say: "Praise be to Allah!" But most of them understand not.		 (লোকমান:
আয়াতঃ ২৫)
75 তারা কি বলে, এটা সে মিথ্যা রচনা করেছে? বরং এটা আপনার পালনকর্তার তরফ থেকে সত্য, যাতে আপনি এমন এক সম্প্রদায়কে সতর্ক করেন, যাদের কাছে আপনার পূর্বে কোন সতর্ককারী আসেনি। সম্ভবতঃ এরা সুপথ প্রাপ্ত হবে।
Or do they say, "He has forged it"? Nay, it is the Truth from thy Lord, that thou mayest admonish a people to whom no warner has come before thee: in order that they may receive guidance.		 (সেজদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৩)
76 তারা বলে, আমরা মৃত্তিকায় মিশ্রিত হয়ে গেলেও পুনরায় নতুন করে সৃজিত হব কি? বরং তারা তাদের পালনকর্তার সাক্ষাতকে অস্বীকার করে।
And they say: "What! when we lie, hidden and lost, in the earth, shall we indeed be in a Creation renewed? Nay, they deny the Meeting with their Lord.		 (সেজদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১০)
77 মুহাম্মদ তোমাদের কোন ব্যক্তির পিতা নন; বরং তিনি আল্লাহর রাসূল এবং শেষ নবী। আল্লাহ সব বিষয়ে জ্ঞাত।
Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but (he is) the Messenger of Allah, and the Seal of the Prophets: and Allah has full knowledge of all things.		 (আল আহযাব:
আয়াতঃ ৪০)
78 বলুন, তোমরা যাদেরকে আল্লাহর সাথে অংশীদাররূপে সংযুক্ত করেছ, তাদেরকে এনে আমাকে দেখাও। বরং তিনিই আল্লাহ, পরাক্রমশীল, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
Say: "Show me those whom ye have joined with Him as partners: by no means (can ye). Nay, He is Allah, the Exalted in Power, the Wise."		 (সাবা:
আয়াতঃ ২৭)
79 অহংকারীরা দুর্বলকে বলবে, তোমাদের কাছে হেদায়েত আসার পর আমরা কি তোমাদেরকে বাধা দিয়েছিলাম? বরং তোমরাই তো ছিলে অপরাধী।
The arrogant ones will say to those who had been despised: "Was it we who kept you back from Guidance after it reached you? Nay, rather, it was ye who transgressed.		 (সাবা:
আয়াতঃ ৩২)
80 দুর্বলরা অহংকারীদেরকে বলবে, বরং তোমরাই তো দিবারাত্রি চক্রান্ত করে আমাদেরকে নির্দেশ দিতে যেন আমরা আল্লাহকে না মানি এবং তাঁর অংশীদার সাব্যস্ত করি তারা যখন শাস্তি দেখবে, তখন মনের অনুতাপ মনেই রাখবে। বস্তুতঃ আমি কাফেরদের গলায় বেড়ী পরাব। তারা সে প্রতিফলই পেয়ে থাকে যা তারা করত।
Those who had been despised will say to the arrogant ones: "Nay! it was a plot (of yours) by day and by night: Behold! Ye (constantly) ordered us to be ungrateful to Allah and to attribute equals to Him!" They will declare (their) repentance when they see the Penalty: We shall put yokes on the necks of the Unbelievers: It would only be a requital for their (ill) Deeds.		 (সাবা:
আয়াতঃ ৩৩)
81 ফেরেশতারা বলবে, আপনি পবিত্র, আমরা আপনার পক্ষে, তাদের পক্ষে নই, বরং তারা জিনদের পূজা করত। তাদের অধিকাংশই শয়তানে বিশ্বাসী।
They will say, "Glory to Thee! our (tie) is with Thee - as Protector - not with them. Nay, but they worshipped the Jinns: most of them believed in them."		 (সাবা:
আয়াতঃ ৪১)
82 বলুন, আমি তোমাদের কাছে কোন পারিশ্রমিক চাই না বরং তা তোমরাই রাখ। আমার পুরস্কার তো আল্লাহর কাছে রয়েছে। প্রত্যেক বস্তুই তাঁর সামনে।
Say: "No reward do I ask of you: it is (all) in your interest: my reward is only due from Allah: And He is witness to all things."		 (সাবা:
আয়াতঃ ৪৭)
83 বলুন, তোমরা কি তোমাদের সে শরীকদের কথা ভেবে দেখেছ, যাদেরকে আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে তোমরা ডাক? তারা পৃথিবীতে কিছু সৃষ্টি করে থাকলে আমাকে দেখাও। না আসমান সৃষ্টিতে তাদের কোন অংশ আছে, না আমি তাদেরকে কোন কিতাব দিয়েছি যে, তারা তার দলীলের উপর কায়েম রয়েছে, বরং জালেমরা একে অপরকে কেবল প্রতারণামূলক ওয়াদা দিয়ে থাকে।
Say: "Have ye seen (these) 'Partners' of yours whom ye call upon besides Allah? Show Me what it is they have created in the (wide) earth. Or have they a share in the heavens? Or have We given them a Book from which they (can derive) clear (evidence)?- Nay, the wrong-doers promise each other nothing but delusions.		 (ফাতির:
আয়াতঃ ৪০)
84 বরং আপনি বিস্ময় বোধ করেন আর তারা বিদ্রুপ করে।
Truly dost thou marvel, while they ridicule,		 (আস-সাফফাত:
আয়াতঃ ১২)
85 বরং তারা আজকের দিনে আত্নসমর্পণকারী।
Nay, but that day they shall submit (to Judgment);		 (আস-সাফফাত:
আয়াতঃ ২৬)
86 তারা বলবে, বরং তোমরা তো বিশ্বাসীই ছিলে না।
They will reply: "Nay, ye yourselves had no Faith!		 (আস-সাফফাত:
আয়াতঃ ২৯)
87 এবং তোমাদের উপর আমাদের কোন কতৃত্ব ছিল না, বরং তোমরাই ছিলে সীমালংঘনকারী সম্প্রদায়।
"Nor had we any authority over you. Nay, it was ye who were a people in obstinate rebellion!		 (আস-সাফফাত:
আয়াতঃ ৩০)
88 বরং যারা কাফের, তারা অহংকার ও বিরোধিতায় লিপ্ত।
But the Unbelievers (are steeped) in self-glory and Separatism.		 (ছোয়াদ:
আয়াতঃ ২)
89 আমাদের মধ্য থেকে শুধু কি তারই প্রতি উপদেশ বানী অবতীর্ণ হল? বস্তুতঃ ওরা আমার উপদেশ সম্পর্কে সন্দিহান; বরং ওরা এখনও আমার মার আস্বাদন করেনি।
"What! has the Message been sent to him - (Of all persons) among us?"... but they are in doubt concerning My (Own) Message! Nay, they have not yet tasted My Punishment!		 (ছোয়াদ:
আয়াতঃ ৮)
90 বরং আল্লাহরই এবাদত করুন এবং কৃতজ্ঞদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত থাকুন।
Nay, but worship Allah, and be of those who give thanks.		 (আল-যুমার:
আয়াতঃ ৬৬)
91 আল্লাহ ব্যতীত? তারা বলবে, তারা আমাদের কাছ থেকে উধাও হয়ে গেছে; বরং আমরা তো ইতিপূর্বে কোন কিছুর পূজাই করতাম না। এমনি ভাবে আল্লাহ কাফেরদেরকে বিভ্রান্ত করেন।
"In derogation of Allah?" They will reply: "They have left us in the lurch: Nay, we invoked not, of old, anything (that had real existence)." Thus does Allah leave the Unbelievers to stray.		 (আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ৭৪)
92 বরং তারা বলে, আমরা আমাদের পূর্বপুরুষদেরকে পেয়েছি এক পথের পথিক এবং আমরা তাদেরই পদাংক অনুসরণ করে পথপ্রাপ্ত।
Nay! they say: "We found our fathers following a certain religion, and we do guide ourselves by their footsteps."		 (যুখরুফ:
আয়াতঃ ২২)
93 (অতঃপর) তারা যখন শাস্তিকে মেঘরূপে তাদের উপত্যকা অভিমুখী দেখল, তখন বলল, এ তো মেঘ, আমাদেরকে বৃষ্টি দেবে। বরং এটা সেই বস্তু, যা তোমরা তাড়াতাড়ি চেয়েছিলে। এটা বায়ু এতে রয়েছে মর্মন্তুদ শাস্তি।
Then, when they saw the (Penalty in the shape of) a cloud traversing the sky, coming to meet their valleys, they said, "This cloud will give us rain!" "Nay, it is the (Calamity) ye were asking to be hastened!- A wind wherein is a Grievous Penalty!		 (আল আহক্বাফ:
আয়াতঃ ২৪)
94 অতঃপর আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে তারা যাদেরকে সান্নিধ্য লাভের জন্যে উপাস্যরূপে গ্রহণ করেছিল, তারা তাদেরকে সাহায্য করল না কেন? বরং তারা তাদের কাছ থেকে উধাও হয়ে গেল। এটা ছিল তাদের মিথ্যা ও মনগড়া বিষয়।
Why then was no help forthcoming to them from those whom they worshipped as gods, besides Allah, as a means of access (to Allah)? Nay, they left them in the lurch: but that was their falsehood and their invention.		 (আল আহক্বাফ:
আয়াতঃ ২৮)
95 মরুবাসীদের মধ্যে যারা গৃহে বসে রয়েছে, তারা আপনাকে বলবেঃ আমরা আমাদের ধন-সম্পদ ও পরিবার-পরিজনের কাজে ব্যস্ত ছিলাম। অতএব, আমাদের পাপ মার্জনা করান। তারা মুখে এমন কথা বলবে, যা তাদের অন্তরে নেই। বলুনঃ আল্লাহ তোমাদের ক্ষতি অথবা উপকার সাধনের ইচ্ছা করলে কে তাকে বিরত রাখতে পারে? বরং তোমরা যা কর, আল্লাহ সে বিষয় পরিপূর্ণ জ্ঞাত।
The desert Arabs who lagged behind will say to thee: "We were engaged in (looking after) our flocks and herds, and our families: do thou then ask forgiveness for us." They say with their tongues what is not in their hearts. Say: "Who then has any power at all (to intervene) on your behalf with Allah, if His Will is to give you some loss or to give you some profit? But Allah is well acquainted with all that ye do.		 (আল ফাতহ:
আয়াতঃ ১১)
96 বরং তোমরা ধারণ করেছিলে যে, রসূল ও মুমিনগণ তাদের বাড়ী-ঘরে কিছুতেই ফিরে আসতে পারবে না এবং এই ধারণা তোমাদের জন্যে খুবই সুখকর ছিল। তোমরা মন্দ ধারণার বশবর্তী হয়েছিলে। তোমরা ছিলে ধ্বংসমুখী এক সম্প্রদায়।
"Nay, ye thought that the Messenger and the Believers would never return to their families; this seemed pleasing in your hearts, and ye conceived an evil thought, for ye are a people lost (in wickedness)."		 (আল ফাতহ:
আয়াতঃ ১২)
97 তোমরা যখন যুদ্ধলব্ধ ধন-সম্পদ সংগ্রহের জন্য যাবে, তখন যারা পশ্চাতে থেকে গিয়েছিল, তারা বলবেঃ আমাদেরকেও তোমাদের সঙ্গে যেতে দাও। তারা আল্লাহর কালাম পরিবর্তন করতে চায়। বলুনঃ তোমরা কখনও আমাদের সঙ্গে যেতে পারবে না। আল্লাহ পূর্ব থেকেই এরূপ বলে দিয়েছেন। তারা বলবেঃ বরং তোমরা আমাদের প্রতি বিদ্বেষ পোষণ করছ। পরন্তু তারা সামান্যই বোঝে।
Those who lagged behind (will say), when ye (are free to) march and take booty (in war): "Permit us to follow you." They wish to change Allah's decree: Say: "Not thus will ye follow us: Allah has already declared (this) beforehand": then they will say, "But ye are jealous of us." Nay, but little do they understand (such things).		 (আল ফাতহ:
আয়াতঃ ১৫)
98 মরুবাসীরা বলেঃ আমরা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছি। বলুনঃ তোমরা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করনি; বরং বল, আমরা বশ্যতা স্বীকার করেছি। এখনও তোমাদের অন্তরে বিশ্বাস জন্মেনি। যদি তোমরা আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূলের আনুগত্য কর, তবে তোমাদের কর্ম বিন্দুমাত্রও নিস্ফল করা হবে না। নিশ্চয়, আল্লাহ ক্ষমাশীল, পরম মেহেরবান।
The desert Arabs say, "We believe." Say, "Ye have no faith; but ye (only) say, 'We have submitted our wills to Allah,' For not yet has Faith entered your hearts. But if ye obey Allah and His Messenger, He will not belittle aught of your deeds: for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."		 (আল হুজরাত:
আয়াতঃ ১৪)
99 তারা মুসলমান হয়ে আপনাকে ধন্য করেছে মনে করে। বলুন, তোমরা মুসলমান হয়ে আমাকে ধন্য করেছ মনে করো না। বরং আল্লাহ ঈমানের পথে পরিচালিত করে তোমাদেরকে ধন্য করেছেন, যদি তোমরা সত্যনিষ্ঠ হয়ে থাক।
They impress on thee as a favour that they have embraced Islam. Say, "Count not your Islam as a favour upon me: Nay, Allah has conferred a favour upon you that He has guided you to the faith, if ye be true and sincere.		 (আল হুজরাত:
আয়াতঃ ১৭)
100 বরং তারা তাদের মধ্য থেকেই একজন ভয় প্রদর্শনকারী আগমন করেছে দেখে বিস্ময় বোধ করে। অতঃপর কাফেররা বলেঃ এটা আশ্চর্যের ব্যাপার।
But they wonder that there has come to them a Warner from among themselves. So the Unbelievers say: "This is a wonderful thing!		 (ক্বাফ:
আয়াতঃ ২)
101 বরং তাদের কাছে সত্য আগমন করার পর তারা তাকে মিথ্যা বলছে। ফলে তারা সংশয়ে পতিত রয়েছে।
But they deny the Truth when it comes to them: so they are in a confused state.		 (ক্বাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৫)
102 আমি কি প্রথমবার সৃষ্টি করেই ক্লান্ত হয়ে পড়েছি? বরং তারা নতুন সৃষ্টির ব্যাপারে সন্দেহ পোষন করেছে।
Were We then weary with the first Creation, that they should be in confused doubt about a new Creation?		 (ক্বাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৫)
103 না তারা বলেঃ এই কোরআন সে নিজে রচনা করেছে? বরং তারা অবিশ্বাসী।
Or do they say, "He fabricated the (Message)"? Nay, they have no faith!		 (আত্ব তূর:
আয়াতঃ ৩৩)
104 না তারা নভোমন্ডল ও ভূমন্ডল সৃষ্টি করেছে? বরং তারা বিশ্বাস করে না।
Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Nay, they have no firm belief.		 (আত্ব তূর:
আয়াতঃ ৩৬)
105 আমাদের মধ্যে কি তারই প্রতি উপদেশ নাযিল করা হয়েছে? বরং সে একজন মিথ্যাবাদী, দাম্ভিক।
"Is it that the Message is sent to him, of all people amongst us? Nay, he is a liar, an insolent one!"		 (আল ক্বামার:
আয়াতঃ ২৫)
106 বরং কেয়ামত তাদের প্রতিশ্রুত সময় এবং কেয়ামত ঘোরতর বিপদ ও তিক্ততর।
Nay, the Hour (of Judgment) is the time promised them (for their full recompense): And that Hour will be most grievous and most bitter.		 (আল ক্বামার:
আয়াতঃ ৪৬)
107 বরং আমরা হূত সর্বস্ব হয়ে পড়লাম।
"Indeed are we shut out (of the fruits of our labour)"		 (আল ওয়াক্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৬৭)
108 মুমিনগণ, তোমরা যখন কানাকানি কর, তখন পাপাচার, সীমালংঘন ও রসূলের অবাধ্যতার বিষয়ে কানাকানি করো না বরং অনুগ্রহ ও খোদাভীতির ব্যাপারে কানাকানি করো। আল্লাহকে ভয় কর, যাঁর কাছে তোমরা একত্রিত হবে।
O ye who believe! When ye hold secret counsel, do it not for iniquity and hostility, and disobedience to the Prophet; but do it for righteousness and self-restraint; and fear Allah, to Whom ye shall be brought back.		 (আল মুজাদালাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৯)
109 তিনি যদি রিযিক বন্ধ করে দেন, তবে কে আছে, যে তোমাদেরকে রিযিক দিবে বরং তারা অবাধ্যতা ও বিমুখতায় ডুবে রয়েছে।
Or who is there that can provide you with Sustenance if He were to withhold His provision? Nay, they obstinately persist in insolent impiety and flight (from the Truth).		 (আল মুলক:
আয়াতঃ ২১)
110 বরং আমরা তো কপালপোড়া,
"Indeed we are shut out (of the fruits of our labour)!"		 (আল কলম:
আয়াতঃ ২৭)
111 বরং তাদের প্রত্যেকেই চায় তাদের প্রত্যেককে একটি উম্মুক্ত গ্রন্থ দেয়া হোক।
Forsooth, each one of them wants to be given scrolls (of revelation) spread out!		 (আল মুদ্দাসসির:
আয়াতঃ ৫২)
112 কখনও না, বরং তারা পরকালকে ভয় করে না।
By no means! But they fear not the Hereafter,		 (আল মুদ্দাসসির:
আয়াতঃ ৫৩)
113 বরং মানুষ তার ভবিষ্যত জীবনেও ধৃষ্টতা করতে চায়
But man wishes to do wrong (even) in the time in front of him.		 (আল ক্বেয়ামাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৫)
114 বরং মানুষ নিজেই তার নিজের সম্পর্কে চক্ষুমান।
Nay, man will be evidence against himself,		 (আল ক্বেয়ামাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১৪)
115 কখনও না, বরং তোমরা পার্থিব জীবনকে ভালবাস
Nay, (ye men!) but ye love the fleeting life,		 (আল ক্বেয়ামাহ:
আয়াতঃ ২০)
116 কখনও বিভ্রান্ত হয়ো না; বরং তোমরা দান-প্রতিদানকে মিথ্যা মনে কর।
Nay! But ye do reject Right and Judgment!		 (আল ইনফিতার:
আয়াতঃ ৯)
117 কখনও না, বরং তারা যা করে, তাই তাদের হৃদয় মরিচা ধরিয়ে দিয়েছে।
By no means! but on their hearts is the stain of the (ill) which they do!		 (আত-তাতফীফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৪)
118 বরং কাফেররা এর প্রতি মিথ্যারোপ করে।
But on the contrary the Unbelievers reject (it).		 (আল ইনশিক্বাক্ব:
আয়াতঃ ২২)
119 বরং যারা কাফের, তারা মিথ্যারোপে রত আছে।
And yet the Unbelievers (persist) in rejecting (the Truth)!		 (আল বুরূজ:
আয়াতঃ ১৯)
120 বরং এটা মহান কোরআন,
Nay, this is a Glorious Qur'an,		 (আল বুরূজ:
আয়াতঃ ২১)
121 এটা অমূলক, বরং তোমরা এতীমকে সম্মান কর না।
Nay, nay! but ye honour not the orphans!		 (আল ফজর:
আয়াতঃ ১৭)
