হাঁ, যে ব্যক্তি নিজেকে আল্লাহর উদ্দেশ্যে সমর্পন করেছে এবং সে সৎকর্মশীলও বটে তার জন্য তার পালনকর্তার কাছে পুরস্কার বয়েছে। তাদের ভয় নেই এবং তারা চিন্তিতও হবে না।
Nay,-whoever submits His whole self to Allah and is a doer of good,- He will get his reward with his Lord; on such shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve. |
(আল বাকারা:

আর বহু নবী ছিলেন, যাঁদের সঙ্গী-সাথীরা তাঁদের অনুবর্তী হয়ে জেহাদ করেছে; আল্লাহর পথে-তাদের কিছু কষ্ট হয়েছে বটে, কিন্তু আল্লাহর রাহে তারা হেরেও যায়নি, ক্লান্তও হয়নি এবং দমেও যায়নি। আর যারা সবর করে, আল্লাহ তাদেরকে ভালবাসেন।
How many of the prophets fought (in Allah's way), and with them (fought) Large bands of godly men? but they never lost heart if they met with disaster in Allah's way, nor did they weaken (in will) nor give in. And Allah Loves those who are firm and steadfast. |

অতঃপর আমি বাঁচিয়ে নেই নিজের রসূলগণকে এবং তাদেরকে যারা ঈমান এনেছে এমনিভাবে। ঈমানদারদের বাঁচিয়ে নেয়া আমার দায়িত্বও বটে।
In the end We deliver Our messengers and those who believe: Thus is it fitting on Our part that We should deliver those who believe! |

এরা আপনার কাছে মঙ্গলের পরিবর্তে দ্রুত অমঙ্গল কামনা করে। তাদের পূর্বে অনুরূপ অনেক শাস্তিপ্রাপ্ত জনগোষ্ঠী অতিক্রান্ত হয়েছে। আপনার পালনকর্তা মানুষকে তাদের অন্যায় সত্বেও ক্ষমা করেন এবং আপনার পালনকর্তা কঠিন শাস্তিদাতা ও বটে।
They ask thee to hasten on the evil in preference to the good: Yet have come to pass, before them, (many) exemplary punishments! But verily thy Lord is full of forgiveness for mankind for their wrong-doing, and verily thy Lord is (also) strict in punishment. |

সে তো এক বান্দাই বটে আমি তার প্রতি অনুগ্রহ করেছি এবং তাকে করেছি বণী-ইসরাঈলের জন্যে আদর্শ।
He was no more than a servant: We granted Our favour to him, and We made him an example to the Children of Israel. |
