আর যখন তোমরা ছিলে সমরাঙ্গনের এ প্রান্তে আর তারা ছিল সে প্রান্তে অথচ কাফেলা তোমাদের থেকে নীচে নেমে গিয়েছিল। এমতাবস্থায় যদি তোমরা পারস্পরিক অঙ্গীকারাবদ্ধ হতে, তবে তোমরা এক সঙ্গে সে ওয়াদা পালন করতে পারতে না। কিন্তু আল্লাহ তা’আলা এমন এক কাজ করতে চেয়েছিলেন, যা নির্ধারিত হয়ে গিয়েছিল যাতে সে সব লোক নিহত হওয়ার ছিল, প্রমাণ প্রতিষ্ঠার পর এবং যাদের বাঁচার ছিল, তারা বেঁচে থাকে প্রমাণ প্রতিষ্ঠার পর। আর নিশ্চিতই আল্লাহ শ্রবণকারী, বিজ্ঞ।
Remember ye were on the hither side of the valley, and they on the farther side, and the caravan on lower ground than ye. Even if ye had made a mutual appointment to meet, ye would certainly have failed in the appointment: But (thus ye met), that Allah might accomplish a matter already enacted; that those who died might die after a clear Sign (had been given), and those who lived might live after a Clear Sign (had been given). And verily Allah is He Who heareth and knoweth (all things). |

আর তারা অল্প-বিস্তর যা কিছু ব্যয় করে, যত প্রান্তর তারা অতিক্রম করে, তা সবই তাদের নামে লেখা হয়, যেন আল্লাহ তাদের কৃতকর্মসমূহের উত্তম বিনিময় প্রদান করেন।
Nor could they spend anything (for the cause) - small or great- nor cut across a valley, but the deed is inscribed to their credit: that Allah may requite their deed with the best (possible reward). |

সে বলল-কি দুর্ভাগ্য আমার! আমি সন্তান প্রসব করব? অথচ আমি বার্ধক্যের শেষ প্রান্তে এসে উপনীত হয়েছি আর আমার স্বামীও বৃদ্ধ, এতো ভারী আশ্চর্য কথা।
She said: "Alas for me! shall I bear a child, seeing I am an old woman, and my husband here is an old man? That would indeed be a wonderful thing!" |

আর দিনের দুই প্রান্তেই নামায ঠিক রাখবে, এবং রাতের প্রান্তভাগে পূর্ণ কাজ অবশ্যই পাপ দূর করে দেয়, যারা স্মরণ রাখে তাদের জন্য এটি এক মহা স্মারক।
And establish regular prayers at the two ends of the day and at the approaches of the night: For those things, that are good remove those that are evil: Be that the word of remembrance to those who remember (their Lord): |

যেদিন আমি পর্বতসমূহকে পরিচালনা করব এবং আপনি পৃথিবীকে দেখবেন একটি উম্মুক্ত প্রান্তর এবং আমি মানুষকে একত্রিত করব অতঃপর তাদের কাউকে ছাড়ব না।
One Day We shall remove the mountains, and thou wilt see the earth as a level stretch, and We shall gather them, all together, nor shall We leave out any one of them. |

সে বললঃ হে আমার পালনকর্তা কেমন করে আমার পুত্র হবে অথচ আমার স্ত্রী যে বন্ধ্যা, আর আমিও যে বার্ধক্যের শেষ প্রান্তে উপনীত।
He said: "O my Lord! How shall I have a son, when my wife is barren and I have grown quite decrepit from old age?" |

অতএব, আমরাও তোমার মোকাবেলায় তোমার নিকট অনুরূপ যাদু উপস্থিত করব। সুতরাং আমাদের ও তোমার মধ্যে একটি ওয়াদার দিন ঠিক কর, যার খেলাফ আমরাও করব না এবং তুমিও করবে না একটি পরিষ্কার প্রান্তরে।
"But we can surely produce magic to match thine! So make a tryst between us and thee, which we shall not fail to keep - neither we nor thou - in a place where both shall have even chances." |
(ত্বোয়া-হা:

এসময় শহরের প্রান্ত থেকে একব্যক্তি ছুটে আসল এবং বলল, হে মূসা, রাজ্যের পরিষদবর্গ তোমাকে হত্যা করার পরমর্শ করছে। অতএব, তুমি বের হয়ে যাও। আমি তোমার হিতাকাঙ্ক্ষী।
And there came a man, running, from the furthest end of the City. He said: "O Moses! the Chiefs are taking counsel together about thee, to slay thee: so get thee away, for I do give thee sincere advice." |

যখন সে তার কাছে পৌছল, তখন পবিত্র ভূমিতে অবস্থিত উপত্যকার ডান প্রান্তের বৃক্ষ থেকে তাকে আওয়াজ দেয়া হল, হে মূসা! আমি আল্লাহ, বিশ্ব পালনকর্তা।
But when he came to the (fire), a voice was heard from the right bank of the valley, from a tree in hallowed ground: "O Moses! Verily I am Allah, the Lord of the Worlds.... |

আয়াতঃ ৩০) |

মূসাকে যখন আমি নির্দেশনামা দিয়েছিলাম, তখন আপনি পশ্চিম প্রান্তে ছিলেন না এবং আপনি প্রত্যক্ষদর্শীও ছিলেন না।
Thou wast not on the Western side when We decreed the Commission to Moses, nor wast thou a witness (of those events). |
(আল কাসাস:
আয়াতঃ ৪৪) |

অতঃপর শহরের প্রান্তভাগ থেকে এক ব্যক্তি দৌড়ে এল। সে বলল, হে আমার সম্প্রদায় তোমরা রসূলগণের অনুসরণ কর।
Then there came running, from the farthest part of the City, a man, saying, "O my people! Obey the messengers: |

অতঃপর আমি তাঁকে এক বিস্তীর্ণ-বিজন প্রান্তরে নিক্ষেপ করলাম, তখন তিনি ছিলেন রুগ্ন।
But We cast him forth on the naked shore in a state of sickness, |

হে জিন ও মানবকূল, নভোমন্ডল ও ভূমন্ডলের প্রান্ত অতিক্রম করা যদি তোমাদের সাধ্যে কুলায়, তবে অতিক্রম কর। কিন্তু ছাড়পত্র ব্যতীত তোমরা তা অতিক্রম করতে পারবে না।
O ye assembly of Jinns and men! If it be ye can pass beyond the zones of the heavens and the earth, pass ye! not without authority shall ye be able to pass! |
(আর রহমান:
আয়াতঃ ৩৩) |
| 14 |
যদি তার পালনকর্তার অনুগ্রহ তাকে সামাল না দিত, তবে সে নিন্দিত অবস্থায় জনশুন্য প্রান্তরে নিক্ষিপ্ত হত।
Had not Grace from his Lord reached him, he would indeed have been cast off on the naked shore, in disgrace. |

এবং ফেরেশতাগণ আকাশের প্রান্তদেশে থাকবে ও আট জন ফেরেশতা আপনার পালনকর্তার আরশকে তাদের উর্ধ্বে বহন করবে।
And the angels will be on its sides, and eight will, that Day, bear the Throne of thy Lord above them. |

এবং সিনাই প্রান্তরস্থ তূর পর্বতের,
And the Mount of Sinai, |
