নাযিল করেছেন তাওরত ও ইঞ্জিল, এ কিতাবের পূর্বে, মানুষের হেদায়েতের জন্যে এবং অবতীর্ণ করেছেন মীমাংসা। নিঃসন্দেহে যারা আল্লাহর আয়াতসমূহ অস্বীকার করে, তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে কঠিন আযাব। আর আল্লাহ হচ্ছেন পরাক্রমশীল, প্রতিশোধ গ্রহণকারী।
Then those who reject Faith in the Signs of Allah will suffer the severest penalty, and Allah is Exalted in Might, Lord of Retribution. |

মুমিনগণ, তোমরা এহরাম অবস্থায় শিকার বধ করো না। তোমাদের মধ্যে যে জেনেশুনে শিকার বধ করবে, তার উপর বিনিময় ওয়াজেব হবে, যা সমান হবে ঐ জন্তুর, যাকে সে বধ করেছে। দু’জন নির্ভরযোগ্য ব্যক্তি এর ফয়সালা করবে-বিনিময়ের জন্তুটি উৎসর্গ হিসেবে কাবায় পৌছাতে হবে। অথবা তার উপর কাফফারা ওয়াজেব-কয়েকজন দরিদ্রকে খাওয়ানো অথবা তার সমপরিমাণ রোযা রাখতে যাতে সে স্বীয় কৃতকর্মের প্রতিফল আস্বাদন করে। যা হয়ে গেছে, তা আল্লাহ মাফ করেছেন। যে পুনরায় এ কান্ড করবে, আল্লাহ তার কাছ থেকে প্রতিশোধ নিবেন। আল্লাহ পরাক্রান্ত, প্রতিশোধ গ্রহণে সক্ষম।
O ye who believe! Kill not game while in the sacred precincts or in pilgrim garb. If any of you doth so intentionally, the compensation is an offering, brought to the Ka'ba, of a domestic animal equivalent to the one he killed, as adjudged by two just men among you; or by way of atonement, the feeding of the indigent; or its equivalent in fasts: that he may taste of the penalty of his deed. Allah forgives what is past: for repetition Allah will exact from him the penalty. For Allah is Exalted, and Lord of Retribution. |

অতএব আল্লাহর প্রতি ধারণা করো না যে, তিনি রসূলগণের সাথে কৃত ওয়াদা ভঙ্গ করবেন নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ পরাক্রমশালী, প্রতিশোধ গ্রহণকারী।
Never think that Allah would fail his messengers in His promise: for Allah is Exalted in power, - the Lord of Retribution. |

আয়াতঃ ৪৭) |

অতঃপর আমি তাদের কাছ থেকে প্রতিশোধ নিয়েছি। উভয় বস্তি প্রকাশ্য রাস্তার উপর অবস্থিত।
So We exacted retribution from them. They were both on an open highway, plain to see. |

আর যদি তোমরা প্রতিশোধ গ্রহণ কর, তবে ঐ পরিমাণ প্রতিশোধ গ্রহণ করবে, যে পরিমাণ তোমাদেরকে কষ্ট দেয়া হয়। যদি সবর কর, তবে তা সবরকারীদের জন্যে উত্তম।
And if ye do catch them out, catch them out no worse than they catch you out: But if ye show patience, that is indeed the best (course) for those who are patient. |

আয়াতঃ ১২৬) |

এ তো শুনলে, যে ব্যক্তি নিপীড়িত হয়ে নিপীড়ন পরিমাণে প্রতিশোধ গ্রহণ করে এবং পুনরায় সে নিপীড়িত হয়, আল্লাহ অবশ্যই তাকে সাহায্য করবেন। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ মার্জনাকারী ক্ষমাশীল।
That (is so). And if one has retaliated to no greater extent than the injury he received, and is again set upon inordinately, Allah will help him: for Allah is One that blots out (sins) and forgives (again and again). |

আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে? তারা কি তোমাদের সাহায্য করতে পারে, অথবা তারা প্রতিশোধ নিতে পারে?
"'Besides Allah? Can they help you or help themselves?' |
(আশ-শো'আরা:
আয়াতঃ ৯৩) |

তবে তাদের কথা ভিন্ন, যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে ও সৎকর্ম করে এবং আল্লাহ কে খুব স্মরণ করে এবং নিপীড়িত হওয়ার পর প্রতিশোধ গ্রহণ করে। নিপীড়নকারীরা শীঘ্রই জানতে পারবে তাদের গন্তব্যস্থল কিরূপ।
Except those who believe, work righteousness, engage much in the remembrance of Allah, and defend themselves only after they are unjustly attacked. And soon will the unjust assailants know what vicissitudes their affairs will take! |

আয়াতঃ ২২৭) |

আর আল্লাহ যাকে পথপ্রদর্শন করেন, তাকে পথভ্রষ্টকারী কেউ নেই। আল্লাহ কি পরাক্রমশালী, প্রতিশোধ গ্রহণকারী নন?
And such as Allah doth guide there can be none to lead astray. Is not Allah Exalted in Power, (Able to enforce His Will), Lord of Retribution? |

যারা আক্রান্ত হলে প্রতিশোধ গ্রহণ করে।
And those who, when an oppressive wrong is inflicted on them, (are not cowed but) help and defend themselves. |
(আশ-শুরা:
আয়াতঃ ৩৯) |
| 11 |
নিশ্চয় যে অত্যাচারিত হওয়ার পর প্রতিশোধ গ্রহণ করে, তাদের বিরুদ্ধেও কোন অভিযোগ নেই।
But indeed if any do help and defend themselves after a wrong (done) to them, against such there is no cause of blame. |

অতঃপর আমি তাদের কাছ থেকে প্রতিশোধ নিয়েছি। অতএব দেখুন, মিথ্যারোপকারীদের পরিণাম কিরূপ হয়েছে।
So We exacted retribution from them: now see what was the end of those who rejected (Truth)! |

অতঃপর আমি যদি আপনাকে নিয়ে যাই, তবু আমি তাদের কাছে থেকে প্রতিশোধ নেব।
Even if We take thee away, We shall be sure to exact retribution from them, |
(যুখরুফ:
আয়াতঃ ৪১) |
| 14 |
অতঃপর যখন আমাকে রাগাম্বিত করল তখন আমি তাদের কাছ থেকে প্রতিশোধ নিলাম এবং নিমজ্জত করলাম। তাদের সবাইকে।
When at length they provoked Us, We exacted retribution from them, and We drowned them all. |

আয়াতঃ ৫৫) |
| 15 |
যেদিন আমি প্রবলভাবে ধৃত করব, সেদিন পুরোপুরি প্রতিশোধ গ্রহণ করবই।
One day We shall seize you with a mighty onslaught: We will indeed (then) exact Retribution! |
(আদ দোখান:
আয়াতঃ ১৬) |

অতঃপর যখন তোমরা কাফেরদের সাথে যুদ্ধে অবতীর্ণ হও, তখন তাদের গর্দার মার, অবশেষে যখন তাদেরকে পূর্ণরূপে পরাভূত কর তখন তাদেরকে শক্ত করে বেধে ফেল। অতঃপর হয় তাদের প্রতি অনুগ্রহ কর, না হয় তাদের নিকট হতে মুক্তিপণ লও। তোমরা যুদ্ধ চালিয়ে যাবে যে পর্যন্ত না শত্রুপক্ষ অস্ত্র সমর্পণ করবে! একথা শুনলে। আল্লাহ ইচ্ছা করলে তাদের কাছ থেকে প্রতিশোধ নিতে পারতেন। কিন্তু তিনি তোমাদের কতককে কতকের দ্বারা পরীক্ষা করতে চান। যারা আল্লাহর পথে শহীদ হয়, আল্লাহ কখনই তাদের কর্ম বিনষ্ট করবেন না।
Therefore, when ye meet the Unbelievers (in fight), smite at their necks; At length, when ye have thoroughly subdued them, bind a bond firmly (on them): thereafter (is the time for) either generosity or ransom: Until the war lays down its burdens. Thus (are ye commanded): but if it had been Allah's Will, He could certainly have exacted retribution from them (Himself); but (He lets you fight) in order to test you, some with others. But those who are slain in the Way of Allah,- He will never let their deeds be lost. |

যা চলত আমার দৃষ্টি সামনে। এটা তার পক্ষ থেকে প্রতিশোধ ছিল, যাকে প্রত্যখ্যান করা হয়েছিল।
She floats under our eyes (and care): a recompense to one who had been rejected (with scorn)! |
