যখন ইব্রাহীমকে তাঁর পালনকর্তা কয়েকটি বিষয়ে পরীক্ষা করলেন, অতঃপর তিনি তা পূর্ণ করে দিলেন, তখন পালনকর্তা বললেন, আমি তোমাকে মানবজাতির নেতা করব। তিনি বললেন, আমার বংশধর থেকেও! তিনি বললেন আমার অঙ্গীকার অত্যাচারীদের পর্যন্ত পৌঁছাবে না।
And remember that Abraham was tried by his Lord with certain commands, which he fulfilled: He said: "I will make thee an Imam to the Nations." He pleaded: "And also (Imams) from my offspring!" He answered: "But My Promise is not within the reach of evil-doers." |

সত্যের আহবান একমাত্র তাঁরই এবং তাকে ছাড়া যাদেরকে ডাকে, তারা তাদের কোন কাজে আসে না; ওদের দৃষ্টান্ত সেরূপ, যেমন কেউ দু’ হাত পানির দিকে প্রসারিত করে যাতে পানি তার মুখে পৌঁছে যায়। অথচ পানি কোন সময় পৌঁছাবে না। কাফেরদের যত আহবান তার সবই পথভ্রষ্টতা।
For Him (alone) is prayer in Truth: any others that they call upon besides Him hear them no more than if they were to stretch forth their hands for water to reach their mouths but it reaches them not: for the prayer of those without Faith is nothing but (futile) wandering (in the mind). |

রাত্রির কিছু অংশ কোরআন পাঠ সহ জাগ্রত থাকুন। এটা আপনার জন্যে অতিরিক্ত। হয়ত বা আপনার পালনকর্তা আপনাকে মোকামে মাহমুদে পৌঁছাবেন।
And pray in the small watches of the morning: (it would be) an additional prayer (or spiritual profit) for thee: soon will thy Lord raise thee to a Station of Praise and Glory! |

তাদের স্থায়ী বসবাস হবে যার ওয়াদা দয়াময় আল্লাহ তাঁর বান্দাদেরকে অদৃশ্যভাবে দিয়েছেন। অবশ্যই তাঁর ওয়াদার তারা পৌঁছাবে।
Gardens of Eternity, those which (Allah) Most Gracious has promised to His servants in the Unseen: for His promise must (necessarily) come to pass. |

তারা যখন জাহান্নামের কাছে পৌঁছাবে, তখন তাদের কান, চক্ষু ও ত্বক তাদের কর্ম সম্পর্কে সাক্ষ্য দেবে।
At length, when they reach the (Fire), their hearing, their sight, and their skins will bear witness against them, as to (all) their deeds. |
