"পূর্ববর্তীরা" শব্দযুক্ত আয়াত ম্যাচ করেছেঃ ১৭
নং	আয়াত	সূরা
1	এখন মুশরেকরা বলবেঃ যদি আল্লাহ ইচ্ছা করতেন, তবে না আমরা শিরক করতাম, না আমাদের বাপ দাদারা এবং না আমরা কোন বস্তুকে হারাম করতাম। এমনিভাবে তাদের পূর্ববর্তীরা মিথ্যারোপ করেছে, এমন কি তারা আমার শাস্তি আস্বাদন করেছে। আপনি বলুনঃ তোমাদের কাছে কি কোন প্রমাণ আছে যা আমাদেরকে দেখাতে পার। তোমরা শুধুমাত্র আন্দাজের অনুসরণ কর এবং তোমরা শুধু অনুমান করে কথা বল। Those who give partners (to Allah) will say: "If Allah had wished, we should not have given partners to Him nor would our fathers; nor should we have had any taboos." So did their ancestors argue falsely, until they tasted of Our wrath. Say: "Have ye any (certain) knowledge? If so, produce it before us. Ye follow nothing but conjecture: ye do nothing but lie."	(আল আনআম: আয়াতঃ ১৪৮)
2	পূর্ববর্তীরা পরবর্তীদেরকে বলবেঃ তাহলে আমাদের উপর তোমাদের কোন শ্রেষ্ঠত্ব নেই অতএব, শাস্তি আস্বাদন কর স্বীয় কর্মের কারণে। Then the first will say to the last: "See then! No advantage have ye over us; so taste ye of the penalty for all that ye did!"	(আল আ'রাফ: আয়াতঃ ৩৯)
3	যেমন করে তোমাদের পূর্ববর্তী লোকেরা তোমাদের চেয়ে বেশী ছিল শক্তিতে এবং ধন-সম্পদের ও সন্তান-সন্ততির অধিকারীও ছিল বেশী; অতঃপর উপকৃত হয়েছে নিজেদের ভাগের দ্বারা আবার তোমরা ফায়দা উঠিয়েছ তোমাদের ভাগের দ্বারা-যেমন করে তোমাদের পূর্ববর্তীরা ফায়দা উঠিয়েছিল নিজেদের ভাগের দ্বারা। আর তোমরাও বলছ তাদেরই চলন অনুযায়ী। তারা ছিল সে লোক, যাদের আমলসমূহ নিঃশেষিত হয়ে গেছে দুনিয়া ও আখেরাতে। আর তারাই হয়েছে ক্ষতির সম্মুখীন। As in the case of those before you: they were mightier than you in power, and more flourishing in wealth and children. They had their enjoyment of their portion: and ye have of yours, as did those before you; and ye indulge in idle talk as they did. They!- their work are fruitless in this world and in the Hereafter, and they will lose (all spiritual good).	(আত তাওবাহ: আয়াতঃ ৬৯)
4	কিন্তু কথা হল এই যে, তারা মিথ্যা প্রতিপন্ন করতে আরম্ভ করেছে যাকে বুঝতে, তারা অক্ষম। অথচ এখনো এর বিশ্লেষণ আসেনি। এমনিভাবে মিথ্যা প্রতিপন্ন করেছে তাদের পূর্ববর্তীরা। অতএব, লক্ষ্য করে দেখ, কেমন হয়েছে পরিণতি। Nay, they charge with falsehood that whose knowledge they cannot compass, even before the elucidation thereof hath reached them: thus did those before them make charges of falsehood: but see what was the end of those who did wrong!	(ইউনুস: আয়াতঃ ৩৯)
5	নিশ্চয় চক্রান্ত করেছে তাদের পূর্ববর্তীরা, অতঃপর আল্লাহ তাদের চক্রান্তের ইমারতের ভিত্তিমূলে আঘাত করেছিলেন। এরপর উপর থেকে তাদের মাথায় ছাদ ধ্বসে পড়ে গেছে এবং তাদের উপর আযাব এসেছে যেখান থেকে তাদের ধারণা ছিল না। Those before them did also plot (against Allah's Way): but Allah took their structures from their foundations, and the roof fell down on them from above; and the Wrath seized them from directions they did not perceive.	(নাহল: আয়াতঃ ২৬)
6	কাফেররা কি এখন অপেক্ষা করছে যে, তাদের কাছে ফেরেশতারা আসবে কিংবা আপনার পালনকর্তার নির্দেশ পৌছবে? তাদের পূর্ববর্তীরা এমনই করেছিল। আল্লাহ তাদের প্রতি অবিচার করেননি; কিন্তু তারা স্বয়ং নিজেদের প্রতি জুলুম করেছিল। Do the (ungodly) wait until the angels come to them, or there comes the Command of thy Lord (for their doom)? So did those who went before them. But Allah wronged them not: nay, they wronged their own souls.	(নাহল: আয়াতঃ ৩৩)
7	মুশরিকরা বললঃ যদি আল্লাহ চাইতেন, তবে আমরা তাঁকে ছাড়া কারও এবাদত করতাম না এবং আমাদের পিতৃপুরুষেরাও করত না এবং তাঁর নির্দেশ ছাড়া কোন বস্তুই আমরা হারাম করতাম না। তাদের পূর্ববর্তীরা এমনই করেছে। রাসূলের দায়িত্ব তো শুধুমাত্র সুস্পষ্ট বাণী পৌছিয়ে দেয়া। The worshippers of false gods say: "If Allah had so willed, we should not have worshipped aught but Him - neither we nor our fathers,- nor should we have prescribed prohibitions other than His." So did those who went before them. But what is the mission of messengers but to preach the Clear Message?	(নাহল: আয়াতঃ ৩৫)
8	বরং তারা বলে যেমন তাদের পূর্ববর্তীরা বলত। On the contrary they say things similar to what the ancients said.	(আল মু'মিনূন: আয়াতঃ ৮১)
9	তোমরা যদি মিথ্যাবাদী বল, তবে তোমাদের পূর্ববর্তীরাও তো মিথ্যাবাদী বলেছে। স্পষ্টভাবে পয়গাম পৌছে দেয়াই তো রসূলের দায়িত্ব। "And if ye reject (the Message), so did generations before you: and the duty of the messenger is only to preach publicly (and clearly)."	(আল আনকাবুত: আয়াতঃ ১৮)
10	তাদের পূর্ববর্তীরাও মিথ্যা আরোপ করেছে। আমি তাদেরকে যা দিয়েছিলাম, এরা তার এক দশমাংশও পায়নি। এরপরও তারা আমার রাসূলগনকে মিথ্যা বলেছে। অতএব কেমন হয়েছে আমার শাস্তি। And their predecessors rejected (the Truth); these have not received a tenth of what We had granted to those: yet when they rejected My messengers, how (terrible) was My rejection (of them)!	(সাবা: আয়াতঃ ৪৫)
11	তারা যদি আপনার প্রতি মিথ্যারোপ করে, তাদের পূর্ববর্তীরাও মিথ্যারোপ করেছিল। তাদের কাছে তাদের রসূলগণ স্পষ্ট নিদর্শন, সহীফা এবং উজ্জল কিতাবসহ এসেছিলেন। And if they reject thee, so did their predecessors, to whom came their messengers with Clear Signs, Books of dark prophecies, and the Book of Enlightenment.	(ফাতির: আয়াতঃ ২৫)
12	তাদের পূর্ববর্তীরাও মিথ্যারোপ করেছিল, ফলে তাদের কাছে আযাব এমনভাবে আসল, যা তারা কল্পনাও করত না। Those before them (also) rejected (revelation), and so the Punishment came to them from directions they did not perceive.	(আল-যুমার: আয়াতঃ ২৫)
13	তাদের পূর্ববর্তীরাও তাই বলত, অতঃপর তাদের কৃতকর্ম তাদের কোন উপকারে আসেনি। Thus did the (generations) before them say! But all that they did was of no profit to them.	(আল-যুমার: আয়াতঃ ৫০)
14	ওরা শ্রেষ্ঠ, না তুব্বার সম্প্রদায় ও তাদের পূর্ববর্তীরা? আমি ওদেরকে ধ্বংস করে দিয়েছি। ওরা ছিল অপরাধী। What! Are they better than the people of Tubba and those who were before them? We destroyed them because they were guilty of sin.	(আদ দোখান: আয়াতঃ ৩৭)
15	যারা আল্লাহর তাঁর রসূলের বিরুদ্ধাচরণ করে, তারা অপদস্থ হয়েছে, যেমন অপদস্থ হয়েছে তাদের পূর্ববর্তীরা। আমি সুস্পষ্ট আয়াতসমূহ নাযিল করেছি। আর কাফেরদের জন্যে রয়েছে অপমানজনক শাস্তি। Those who resist Allah and His Messenger will be humbled to dust, as were those before them: for We have already sent down Clear Signs. And the Unbelievers (will have) a humiliating Penalty,-	(আল মুজাদালাহ: আয়াতঃ ৫)
16	তাদের পূর্ববর্তীরা মিথ্যারোপ করেছিল, অতঃপর কত কঠোর হয়েছিল আমার অস্বীকৃতি। But indeed men before them rejected (My warning): then how (terrible) was My rejection (of them)?	(আল মুলক: আয়াতঃ ১৮)
17	ফেরাউন, তাঁর পূর্ববর্তীরা এবং উল্টে যাওয়া বস্তিবাসীরা গুরুতর পাপ করেছিল। And Pharaoh, and those before him, and the Cities Overthrown, committed habitual Sin.	(আল হাক্বক্বাহ: আয়াতঃ ৯)
