অতএব তাদের জন্যে আফসোস! যারা নিজ হাতে গ্রন্থ লেখে এবং বলে, এটা আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে অবতীর্ণ-যাতে এর বিনিময়ে সামান্য অর্থ গ্রহণ করতে পারে। অতএব তাদের প্রতি আক্ষেপ, তাদের হাতের লেখার জন্য এবং তাদের প্রতি আক্ষেপ, তাদের উপার্জনের জন্যে।
Then woe to those who write the Book with their own hands, and then say:"This is from Allah," to traffic with it for miserable price!- Woe to them for what their hands do write, and for the gain they make thereby. |

আর আমার বান্দারা যখন তোমার কাছে জিজ্ঞেস করে আমার ব্যাপারে বস্তুতঃ আমি রয়েছি সন্নিকটে। যারা প্রার্থনা করে, তাদের প্রার্থনা কবুল করে নেই, যখন আমার কাছে প্রার্থনা করে। কাজেই আমার হুকুম মান্য করা এবং আমার প্রতি নিঃসংশয়ে বিশ্বাস করা তাদের একান্ত কর্তব্য। যাতে তারা সৎপথে আসতে পারে।
When My servants ask thee concerning Me, I am indeed close (to them): I listen to the prayer of every suppliant when he calleth on Me: Let them also, with a will, Listen to My call, and believe in Me: That they may walk in the right way. |

রোযার রাতে তোমাদের স্ত্রীদের সাথে সহবাস করা তোমাদের জন্য হালাল করা হয়েছে। তারা তোমাদের পরিচ্ছদ এবং তোমরা তাদের পরিচ্ছদ। আল্লাহ অবগত রয়েছেন যে, তোমরা আত্নপ্রতারণা করছিলে, সুতরাং তিনি তোমাদেরকে ক্ষমা করেছেন এবং তোমাদের অব্যাহতি দিয়েছেন। অতঃপর তোমরা নিজেদের স্ত্রীদের সাথে সহবাস কর এবং যা কিছু তোমাদের জন্য আল্লাহ দান করেছেন, তা আহরন কর। আর পানাহার কর যতক্ষণ না কাল রেখা থেকে ভোরের শুভ্র রেখা পরিষ্কার দেখা যায়। অতঃপর রোযা পূর্ণ কর রাত পর্যন্ত। আর যতক্ষণ তোমরা এতেকাফ অবস্থায় মসজিদে অবস্থান কর, ততক্ষণ পর্যন্ত স্ত্রীদের সাথে মিশো না। এই হলো আল্লাহ কর্তৃক বেঁধে দেয়া সীমানা। অতএব, এর কাছেও যেও না। এমনিভাবে বর্ণনা করেন আল্লাহ নিজের আয়াত সমূহ মানুষের জন্য, যাতে তারা বাঁচতে পারে।
Permitted to you, on the night of the fasts, is the approach to your wives. They are your garments and ye are their garments. Allah knoweth what ye used to do secretly among yourselves; but He turned to you and forgave you; so now associate with them, and seek what Allah Hath ordained for you, and eat and drink, until the white thread of dawn appear to you distinct from its black thread; then complete your fast Till the night appears; but do not associate with your wives while ye are in retreat in the mosques. Those are Limits (set by) Allah: Approach not nigh thereto. Thus doth Allah make clear His Signs to men: that they may learn self-restraint. |

আর এমন কিছু লোক রযেছে যাদের পার্থিব জীবনের কথাবার্তা তোমাকে চমৎকৃত করবে। আর তারা সাক্ষ্য স্থাপন করে আল্লাহকে নিজের মনের কথার ব্যাপারে। প্রকৃতপক্ষে তারা কঠিন ঝগড়াটে লোক।
There is the type of man whose speech about this world's life May dazzle thee, and he calls Allah to witness about what is in his heart; yet is he the most contentious of enemies. |

যখন ফিরে যায় তখন চেষ্টা করে যাতে সেখানে অকল্যাণ সৃষ্টি করতে পারে এবং শস্যক্ষেত্র ও প্রাণনাশ করতে পারে। আল্লাহ ফাসাদ ও দাঙ্গা-হাঙ্গামা পছন্দ করেন না।
When he turns his back, His aim everywhere is to spread mischief through the earth and destroy crops and cattle. But Allah loveth not mischief. |

| 6 |
সমস্ত নামাযের প্রতি যত্নবান হও, বিশেষ করে মধ্যবর্তী নামাযের ব্যাপারে। আর আল্লাহর সামনে একান্ত আদবের সাথে দাঁড়াও।
Guard strictly your (habit of) prayers, especially the Middle Prayer; and stand before Allah in a devout (frame of mind). |

তা এজন্য যে, তারা বলে থাকে যে, দোযখের আগুন আমাদের স্পর্শ করবে না; তবে সামান্য হাতে গোনা কয়েকদিনের জন্য স্পর্শ করতে পারে। নিজেদের উদ্ভাবিত ভিত্তিহীন কথায় তারা ধোকা খেয়েছে।
This because they say: "The Fire shall not touch us but for a few numbered days": For their forgeries deceive them as to their own religion. |

আর আহলে-কিতাবগণের একদল বললো, মুসলমানগণের উপর যা কিছু অবর্তীণ হয়েছে তাকে দিনের প্রথম ভাগে মেনে নাও, আর দিনের শেষ ভাগে অস্বীকার ক র, হয়তো তারা মুখ ফিরিয়ে নিতে পারে।
A section of the People of the Book say: "Believe in the morning what is revealed to the believers, but reject it at the end of the day; perchance they may (themselves) Turn back; |

বস্তুতঃ এটা তো আল্লাহ তোমাদের সুসংবাদ দান করলেন, যাতে তোমাদের মনে এতে সান্ত্বনা আসতে পারে। আর সাহায্য শুধুমাত্র পরাক্রান্ত, মহাজ্ঞানী আল্লাহরই পক্ষ থেকে,
Allah made it but a message of hope for you, and an assurance to your hearts: (in any case) there is no help except from Allah. The Exalted, the Wise: |

হে ঈমাণদারগণ! তোমরা তাদের মত হয়ো না, যারা কাফের হয়েছে এবং নিজেদের ভাই বন্ধুরা যখন কোন অভিযানে বের হয় কিংবা জেহাদে যায়, তখন তাদের সম্পর্কে বলে, তারা যদি আমাদের সাথে থাকতো, তাহলে মরতোও না আহতও হতো না। যাতে তারা এ ধারণা সৃষ্টির মাধ্যমে সংশ্লিষ্টদের মনে অনুতাপ সৃষ্টি করতে পারে। অথচ আল্লাহই জীবন দান করেন এবং মৃত্যু দেন। তোমাদের সমস্ত কাজই, তোমরা যা কিছুই কর না কেন, আল্লাহ সবকিছুৃই দেখেন।
O ye who believe! Be not like the Unbelievers, who say of their brethren, when they are travelling through the Earth or engaged in fighting: "If they had stayed with us, they would not have died, or been slain." This that Allah may make it a cause of sighs and regrets in their hearts. It is Allah that gives Life and Death, and Allah sees well all that ye do. |

কাফেররা যেন মনে না করে যে আমি যে, অবকাশ দান করি, তা তাদের পক্ষে কল্যাণকর। আমি তো তাদেরকে অবকাশ দেই যাতে করে তারা পাপে উন্নতি লাভ করতে পারে। বস্তুতঃ তাদের জন্য রয়েছে লাঞ্ছনাজনক শাস্তি।
Let not the Unbelievers think that our respite to them is good for themselves: We grant them respite that they may grow in their iniquity: But they will have a shameful punishment. |
(আল ইমরান:

| 12 |
আর এতীমদের প্রতি বিশেষভাবে নজর রাখবে, যে পর্যন্ত না তারা বিয়ের বয়সে পৌঁছে। যদি তাদের মধ্যে বুদ্ধি-বিবেচনার উন্মেষ আঁচ করতে পার, তবে তাদের সম্পদ তাদের হাতে অর্পন করতে পার। এতীমের মাল প্রয়োজনাতিরিক্ত খরচ করো না বা তারা বড় হয়ে যাবে মনে করে তাড়াতাড়ি খেয়ে ফেলো না। যারা স্বচ্ছল তারা অবশ্যই এতীমের মাল খরচ করা থেকে বিরত থাকবে। আর যে অভাবগ্রস্ত সে সঙ্গত পরিমাণ খেতে পারে। যখন তাদের হাতে তাদের সম্পদ প্রত্যার্পণ কর, তখন সাক্ষী রাখবে। অবশ্য আল্লাহই হিসাব নেয়ার ব্যাপারে যথেষ্ট।
Make trial of orphans until they reach the age of marriage; if then ye find sound judgment in them, release their property to them; but consume it not wastefully, nor in haste against their growing up. If the guardian is well-off, Let him claim no remuneration, but if he is poor, let him have for himself what is just and reasonable. When ye release their property to them, take witnesses in their presence: But all-sufficient is Allah in taking account. |

হে মানবজাতি! তোমাদের পালনকর্তার যথার্থ বাণী নিয়ে তোমাদের নিকট রসূল এসেছেন, তোমরা তা মেনে নাও যাতে তোমাদের কল্যাণ হতে পারে। আর যদি তোমরা তা না মান, জেনে রাখ আসমানসমূহে ও যমীনে যা কিছু রয়েছে সে সবকিছুই আল্লাহর। আর আল্লাহ হচ্ছেন সর্বজ্ঞ, প্রাজ্ঞ।
O Mankind! The Messenger hath come to you in truth from Allah: believe in him: It is best for you. But if ye reject Faith, to Allah belong all things in the heavens and on earth: And Allah is All-knowing, All-wise. |

আয়াতঃ ১৭০) |
| 14 |
এরা মিথ্যা বলার জন্যে গুপ্তচরবৃত্তি করে, হারাম ভক্ষণ করে। অতএব, তারা যদি আপনার কাছে আসে, তবে হয় তাদের মধ্যে ফয়সালা করে দিন, না হয় তাদের ব্যাপারে নির্লিপ্ত থাকুন। যদি তাদের থেকে নির্লিপ্ত থাকেন, তবে তাদের সাধ্য নেই যে, আপনার বিন্দুমাত্র ক্ষতি করতে পারে। যদি ফয়সালা করেন, তবেন্যায় ভাবে ফয়সালা করুন। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সুবিচারকারীদেরকে ভালবাসেন।
(They are fond of) listening to falsehood, of devouring anything forbidden. If they do come to thee, either judge between them, or decline to interfere. If thou decline, they cannot hurt thee in the least. If thou judge, judge in equity between them. For Allah loveth those who judge in equity. |
(আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৪২) |
| 15 |
তিনিই সে সত্তা যিনি তোমাদিগকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন একটি মাত্র সত্তা থেকে; আর তার থেকেই তৈরী করেছেন তার জোড়া, যাতে তার কাছে স্বস্তি পেতে পারে। অতঃপর পুরুষ যখন নারীকে আবৃত করল, তখন, সে গর্ভবতী হল। অতি হালকা গর্ভ। সে তাই নিয়ে চলাফেরা করতে থাকল। তারপর যখন বোঝা হয়ে গেল, তখন উভয়েই আল্লাহকে ডাকল যিনি তাদের পালনকর্তা যে, তুমি যদি আমাদিগকে সুস্থ ও ভাল দান কর তবে আমরা তোমার শুকরিয়া আদায় করব।
It is He Who created you from a single person, and made his mate of like nature, in order that he might dwell with her (in love). When they are united, she bears a light burden and carries it about (unnoticed). When she grows heavy, they both pray to Allah their Lord, (saying): "If Thou givest us a goodly child, we vow we shall (ever) be grateful." |

| 16 |
আর তারা, না তাদের সাহায্য করতে পারে, না নিজের সাহায্য করতে পারে।
No aid can they give them, nor can they aid themselves! |
(আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৯২) |
| 17 |
আর আল্লাহ তো শুধু সুসংবাদ দান করলেন যাতে তোমাদের মন আশ্বস্ত হতে পারে। আর সাহায্য আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে ছাড়া অন্য কারো পক্ষ থেকে হতে পারে না। নিঃসন্দেহে আল্লাহ মহাশক্তির অধিকারী হেকমত ওয়ালা।
Allah made it but a message of hope, and an assurance to your hearts: (in any case) there is no help except from Allah: and Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise. |
(আল-আনফাল:
আয়াতঃ ১০) |
| 18 |
তোমাদের সামনে আল্লাহর কসম খায় যাতে তোমাদের রাযী করতে পারে। অবশ্য তারা যদি ঈমানদার হয়ে থাকে, তবে আল্লাহকে এবং তাঁর রসূলকে রাযী করা অত্যন্ত জরুরী।
To you they swear by Allah. In order to please you: But it is more fitting that they should please Allah and His Messenger, if they are Believers. |
(আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৬২) |
| 19 |
আর সমস্ত মুমিনের অভিযানে বের হওয়া সঙ্গত নয়। তাই তাদের প্রত্যেক দলের একটি অংশ কেন বের হলো না, যাতে দ্বীনের জ্ঞান লাভ করে এবং সংবাদ দান করে স্বজাতিকে, যখন তারা তাদের কাছে প্রত্যাবর্তন করবে, যেন তারা বাঁচতে পারে।
Nor should the Believers all go forth together: if a contingent from every expedition remained behind, they could devote themselves to studies in religion, and admonish the people when they return to them,- that thus they (may learn) to guard themselves (against evil). |

আয়াতঃ ১২২) |
| 20 |
আবার তাদের মধ্যে কেউ কেউ তোমাদের প্রতি দৃষ্টিনিবদ্ধ রাখে; তুমি অন্ধদেরকে কি পথ দেখাবে যদি তারা মোটেও দেখতে না পারে।
And among them are some who look at thee: but canst thou guide the blind,- even though they will not see? |
(ইউনুস:
আয়াতঃ ৪৩) |
| 21 |
অতএব আজকের দিনে বাঁচিয়ে দিচ্ছি আমি তোমার দেহকে যাতে তোমার পশ্চাদবর্তীদের জন্য নিদর্শন হতে পারে। আর নিঃসন্দেহে বহু লোক আমার মহাশক্তির প্রতি লক্ষ্য করে না।
"This day shall We save thee in the body, that thou mayest be a sign to those who come after thee! but verily, many among mankind are heedless of Our Signs!" |

আয়াতঃ ৯২) |
| 22 |
জেনে রাখ, নিশ্চয়ই তারা নিজেদের বক্ষদেশ ঘুরিয়ে দেয় যেন আল্লাহর নিকট হতে লুকাতে পারে। শুন, তারা তখন কাপড়ে নিজেদেরকে আচ্ছাদিত করে, তিনি তখনও জানেন যা কিছু তারা চুপিসারে বলে আর প্রকাশ্যভাবে বলে। নিশ্চয় তিনি জানেন যা কিছু অন্তর সমূহে নিহিত রয়েছে।
Behold! they fold up their hearts, that they may lie hid from Him! Ah even when they cover themselves with their garments, He knoweth what they conceal, and what they reveal: for He knoweth well the (inmost secrets) of the hearts. |

| 23 |
আমি সব পয়গম্বরকেই তাদের স্বজাতির ভাষাভাষী করেই প্রেরণ করেছি, যাতে তাদেরকে পরিষ্কার বোঝাতে পারে। অতঃপর আল্লাহ যাকে ইচ্ছা, পথঃভ্রষ্ট করেন এবং যাকে ইচ্ছা সৎপথ প্রদর্শন করেন। তিনি পরাক্রান্ত, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
We sent not a messenger except (to teach) in the language of his (own) people, in order to make (things) clear to them. Now Allah leaves straying those whom He pleases and guides whom He pleases: and He is Exalted in power, full of Wisdom. |

আয়াতঃ ৪) |
| 24 |
বলুনঃ সমস্ত প্রশংসা আল্লাহর যিনি না কোন সন্তান রাখেন, না তাঁর সার্বভৌমত্বে কোন শরীক আছে এবং যিনি দুর্দশাগ্রস্ত হন না, যে কারণে তাঁর কোন সাহয্যকারীর প্রয়োজন হতে পারে। সুতরাং আপনি স-সম্ভ্রমে তাঁর মাহাত্ন?2476;র্ণনা করতে থাকুন।
Say: "Praise be to Allah, who begets no son, and has no partner in (His) dominion: Nor (needs) He any to protect Him from humiliation: yea, magnify Him for His greatness and glory!" |

আয়াতঃ ১১১) |
| 25 |
অতঃপর আমি তাদেরকে পুনরত্থিত করি, একথা জানার জন্যে যে, দুই দলের মধ্যে কোন দল তাদের অবস্থানকাল সম্পর্কে অধিক নির্ণয় করতে পারে।
Then We roused them, in order to test which of the two parties was best at calculating the term of years they had tarried! |
(কাহফ:
আয়াতঃ ১২) |

যাতে তারা আমার কথা বুঝতে পারে।
"So they may understand what I say: |
(ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ২৮) |
| 27 |
তিনি বললেনঃ না এদের এই প্রধানই তো একাজ করেছে। অতএব তাদেরকে জিজ্ঞেস কর, যদি তারা কথা বলতে পারে।
He said: "Nay, this was done by - this is their biggest one! ask them, if they can speak intelligently!" |
(আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৬৩) |
| 28 |
অতএব, আপনি সবর করুন। আল্লাহর ওয়াদা সত্য। যারা বিশ্বাসী নয়, তারা যেন আপনাকে বিচলিত করতে না পারে।
So patiently persevere: for verily the promise of Allah is true: nor let those shake thy firmness, who have (themselves) no certainty of faith. |
(আর-রূম:
আয়াতঃ ৬০) |
| 29 |
তারা আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে অনেক উপাস্য গ্রহণ করেছে যাতে তারা সাহায্যপ্রাপ্ত হতে পারে।
Yet they take (for worship) gods other than Allah, (hoping) that they might be helped! |
(ইয়াসীন:
আয়াতঃ ৭৪) |
| 30 |
তাদের পূর্বে নূহের সম্প্রদায় মিথ্যারোপ করেছিল, আর তাদের পরে অন্য অনেক দল ও প্রত্যেক সম্প্রদায় নিজ নিজ পয়গম্বরকে আক্রমণ করার ইচ্ছা করেছিল এবং তারা মিথ্যা বিতর্কে প্রবৃত্ত হয়েছিল, যেন সত্যধর্মকে ব্যর্থ করে দিতে পারে। অতঃপর আমি তাদেরকে পাকড়াও করলাম। কেমন ছিল আমার শাস্তি।
But (there were people) before them, who denied (the Signs),- the People of Noah, and the Confederates (of Evil) after them; and every People plotted against their prophet, to seize him, and disputed by means of vanities, therewith to condemn the Truth; but it was I that seized them! and how (terrible) was My Requital! |
(আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ৫) |
| 31 |
আমি তাদের পেছনে সঙ্গী লাগিয়ে দিয়েছিলাম, অতঃপর সঙ্গীরা তাদের অগ্র-পশ্চাতের আমল তাদের দৃষ্টিতে শোভনীয় করে দিয়েছিল। তাদের ব্যাপারেও শাস্তির আদেশ বাস্তবায়িত হল, যা বাস্তবায়িত হয়েছিল তাদের পূর্ববতী জিন ও মানুষের ব্যাপারে। নিশ্চয় তারা ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত।
And We have destined for them intimate companions (of like nature), who made alluring to them what was before them and behind them; and the sentence among the previous generations of Jinns and men, who have passed away, is proved against them; for they are utterly lost. |
(হা-মীম সেজদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ২৫) |
| 32 |
মুমিনগণ, কেউ যেন অপর কাউকে উপহাস না করে। কেননা, সে উপহাসকারী অপেক্ষা উত্তম হতে পারে এবং কোন নারী অপর নারীকেও যেন উপহাস না করে। কেননা, সে উপহাসকারিণী অপেক্ষা শ্রেষ্ঠ হতে পারে। তোমরা একে অপরের প্রতি দোষারোপ করো না এবং একে অপরকে মন্দ নামে ডেকো না। কেউ বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করলে তাদের মন্দ নামে ডাকা গোনাহ। যারা এহেন কাজ থেকে তওবা না করে তারাই যালেম।
O ye who believe! Let not some men among you laugh at others: It may be that the (latter) are better than the (former): Nor let some women laugh at others: It may be that the (latter are better than the (former): Nor defame nor be sarcastic to each other, nor call each other by (offensive) nicknames: Ill-seeming is a name connoting wickedness, (to be used of one) after he has believed: And those who do not desist are (indeed) doing wrong. |

অদ্য যেন কোন মিসকীন ব্যক্তি তোমাদের কাছে বাগানে প্রবেশ করতে না পারে।
"Let not a single indigent person break in upon you into the (garden) this day." |
