আর তোমার পালনকর্তা যখন ফেরেশতাদিগকে বললেনঃ আমি পৃথিবীতে একজন প্রতিনিধি বানাতে যাচ্ছি, তখন ফেরেশতাগণ বলল, তুমি কি পৃথিবীতে এমন কাউকে সৃষ্টি করবে যে দাঙ্গা-হাঙ্গামার সৃষ্টি করবে এবং রক্তপাত ঘটাবে? অথচ আমরা নিয়ত তোমার গুণকীর্তন করছি এবং তোমার পবিত্র সত্তাকে স্মরণ করছি। তিনি বললেন, নিঃসন্দেহে আমি জানি, যা তোমরা জান না।
Behold, thy Lord said to the angels: "I will create a vicegerent on earth." They said: "Wilt Thou place therein one who will make mischief therein and shed blood?- whilst we do celebrate Thy praises and glorify Thy holy (name)?" He said: "I know what ye know not." |

তারা বলে, আমাদের হৃদয় অর্ধাবৃত। এবং তাদের কুফরের কারণে আল্লাহ অভিসম্পাত করেছেন। ফলে তারা অল্পই ঈমান আনে।
They say, "Our hearts are the wrappings (which preserve Allah's Word: we need no more)." Nay, Allah's curse is on them for their blasphemy: Little is it they believe. |

আয়াতঃ ৮৮) |

যখন তাদের কাছে আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে কিতাব এসে পৌঁছাল, যা সে বিষয়ের সত্যায়ন করে, যা তাদের কাছে রয়েছে এবং তারা পূর্বে করত। অবশেষে যখন তাদের কাছে পৌঁছল যাকে তারা চিনে রেখেছিল, তখন তারা তা অস্বীকার করে বসল। অতএব, অস্বীকারকারীদের উপর আল্লাহর অভিসম্পাত।
And when there comes to them a Book from Allah, confirming what is with them,- although from of old they had prayed for victory against those without Faith,- when there comes to them that which they (should) have recognised, they refuse to believe in it but the curse of Allah is on those without Faith. |

নিশ্চয় যারা গোপন করে, আমি যেসব বিস্তারিত তথ্য এবং হেদায়েতের কথা নাযিল করেছি মানুষের জন্য কিতাবের মধ্যে বিস্তারিত বর্ণনা করার পরও; সে সমস্ত লোকের প্রতিই আল্লাহর অভিসম্পাত এবং অন্যান্য অভিসম্পাতকারীগণের ও।
Those who conceal the clear (Signs) We have sent down, and the Guidance, after We have made it clear for the people in the Book,-on them shall be Allah's curse, and the curse of those entitled to curse,- |

যদি কেউ ওসীয়তকারীর পক্ষ থেকে আশংকা করে পক্ষপাতিত্বের অথবা কোন অপরাধমূলক সিদ্ধান্তের এবং তাদের মধ্যে মীমাংসা করে দেয়, তবে তার কোন গোনাহ হবে না। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ তা’আলা ক্ষমাশীল, অতি দয়ালু।
But if anyone fears partiality or wrong-doing on the part of the testator, and makes peace between (The parties concerned), there is no wrong in him: For Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. |

যারা আল্লাহর রাস্তায় স্বীয় ধন-সম্পদ ব্যয় করে আল্লাহর সন্তুষ্টি অর্জনের লক্ষ্যে এবং নিজের মনকে সুদৃঢ় করার জন্যে তাদের উদাহরণ টিলায় অবস্থিত বাগানের মত, যাতে প্রবল বৃষ্টিপাত হয়; অতঃপর দ্বিগুণ ফসল দান করে। যদি এমন প্রবল বৃষ্টিপাত নাও হয়, তবে হাল্কা বর্ষণই যথেষ্ট। আল্লাহ তোমাদের কাজকর্ম যথার্থই প্রত্যক্ষ করেন।
And the likeness of those who spend their substance, seeking to please Allah and to strengthen their souls, is as a garden, high and fertile: heavy rain falls on it but makes it yield a double increase of harvest, and if it receives not Heavy rain, light moisture sufficeth it. Allah seeth well whatever ye do. |

অতঃপর তোমার নিকট সত্য সংবাদ এসে যাওয়ার পর যদি এই কাহিনী সম্পর্কে তোমার সাথে কেউ বিবাদ করে, তাহলে বল-এসো, আমরা ডেকে নেই আমাদের পুত্রদের এবং তোমাদের পুত্রদের এবং আমাদের স্ত্রীদের ও তোমাদের স্ত্রীদের এবং আমাদের নিজেদের ও তোমাদের নিজেদের আর তারপর চল আমরা সবাই মিলে প্রার্থনা করি এবং তাদের প্রতি আল্লাহর অভিসম্পাত করি যারা মিথ্যাবাদী।
If any one disputes in this matter with thee, now after (full) knowledge Hath come to thee, say: "Come! let us gather together,- our sons and your sons, our women and your women, ourselves and yourselves: Then let us earnestly pray, and invoke the curse of Allah on those who lie!" |

এমন লোকের শাস্তি হলো আল্লাহ, ফেরেশতাগণ এবং মানুষ সকলেরই অভিসম্পাত।
Of such the reward is that on them (rests) the curse of Allah, of His angels, and of all mankind;- |

আয়াতঃ ৮৭) |

আর যদি তোমরা ভয় কর যে, এতীম মেয়েদের হক যথাথভাবে পুরণ করতে পারবে না, তবে সেসব মেয়েদের মধ্যে থেকে যাদের ভাল লাগে তাদের বিয়ে করে নাও দুই, তিন, কিংবা চারটি পর্যন্ত। আর যদি এরূপ আশঙ্কা কর যে, তাদের মধ্যে ন্যায় সঙ্গত আচরণ বজায় রাখতে পারবে না, তবে, একটিই অথবা তোমাদের অধিকারভুক্ত দাসীদেরকে; এতেই পক্ষপাতিত্বে জড়িত না হওয়ার অধিকতর সম্ভাবনা।
If ye fear that ye shall not be able to deal justly with the orphans, Marry women of your choice, Two or three or four; but if ye fear that ye shall not be able to deal justly (with them), then only one, or (a captive) that your right hands possess, that will be more suitable, to prevent you from doing injustice. |

কোন কোন ইহুদী তার লক্ষ্য থেকে কথার মোড় ঘুড়িয়ে নেয় এবং বলে, আমরা শুনেছি কিন্তু অমান্য করছি। তারা আরো বলে, শোন, না শোনার মত। মুখ বাঁকিয়ে দ্বীনের প্রতি তাচ্ছিল্য প্রদর্শনের উদ্দেশে বলে, রায়েনা’ (আমাদের রাখাল)। অথচ যদি তারা বলত যে, আমরা শুনেছি ও মান্য করেছি এবং (যদি বলত, ) শোন এবং আমাদের প্রতি লক্ষ্য রাখ, তবে তাই ছিল তাদের জন্য উত্তম আর সেটাই ছিল যথার্থ ও সঠিক। কিন্তু আল্লাহ তাদের প্রতি অভিসম্পাত করেছেন তাদের কুফরীর দরুন। অতএব, তারা ঈমান আনছে না, কিন্তু অতি অল্পসংখ্যক।
Of the Jews there are those who displace words from their (right) places, and say: "We hear and we disobey"; and "Hear what is not Heard"; and "Ra'ina"; with a twist of their tongues and a slander to Faith. If only they had said: "What hear and we obey"; and "Do hear"; and "Do look at us"; it would have been better for them, and more proper; but Allah hath cursed them for their Unbelief; and but few of them will believe. |

আয়াতঃ ৪৬) |

হে আসমানী গ্রন্থের অধিকারীবৃন্দ! যা কিছু আমি অবতীর্ণ করেছি তার উপর বিশ্বাস স্থাপন কর, যা সে গ্রন্থের সত্যায়ন করে এবং যা তোমাদের নিকট রয়েছে পূর্ব থেকে। (বিশ্বাস স্থাপন কর) এমন হওয়ার আগেই যে, আমি মুছে দেব অনেক চেহারাকে এবং অতঃপর সেগুলোকে ঘুরিয়ে দেব পশ্চাৎ দিকে কিংবা অভিসম্পাত করব তাদের প্রতি যেমন করে অভিসম্পাত করেছি আছহাবে-সাবতের উপর। আর আল্লাহর নির্দেশ অবশ্যই কার্যকর হবে।
O ye People of the Book! believe in what We have (now) revealed, confirming what was (already) with you, before We change the face and fame of some (of you) beyond all recognition, and turn them hindwards, or curse them as We cursed the Sabbath-breakers, for the decision of Allah Must be carried out. |

যে ব্যক্তি স্বেচ্ছাক্রমে মুসলমানকে হত্যা করে, তার শাস্তি জাহান্নাম, তাতেই সে চিরকাল থাকবে। আল্লাহ তার প্রতি ক্রুদ্ধ হয়েছেন, তাকে অভিসম্পাত করেছেন এবং তার জন্যে ভীষণ শাস্তি প্রস্তুত রেখেছেন।
If a man kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, to abide therein (For ever): And the wrath and the curse of Allah are upon him, and a dreadful penalty is prepared for him. |

আয়াতঃ ৯৩) |

যার প্রতি আল্লাহ অভিসম্পাত করেছেন। শয়তান বললঃ আমি অবশ্যই তোমার বান্দাদের মধ্য থেকে নির্দিষ্ট অংশ গ্রহণ করব।
Allah did curse him, but he said: "I will take of Thy servants a portion Marked off; |
(আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১১৮) |

আপনার নিকট আহলে-কিতাবরা আবেদন জানায় যে, আপনি তাদের উপর আসমান থেকে লিখিত কিতাব অবতীর্ণ করিয়ে নিয়ে আসুন। বস্তুতঃ এরা মূসার কাছে এর চেয়েও বড় জিনিস চেয়েছে। বলেছে, একেবারে সামনাসামনিভাবে আমাদের আল্লাহকে দেখিয়ে দাও। অতএব, তাদের উপর বজ্রপাত হয়েছে তাদের পাপের দরুন; অতঃপর তাদের নিকট সুস্পষ্ট প্রমাণ-নিদর্শন প্রকাশিত হবার পরেও তারা গো-বৎসকে উপাস্যরূপে গ্রহণ করেছিল; তাও আমি ক্ষমা করে দিয়েছিলাম এবং আমি মূসাকে প্রকৃষ্ট প্রভাব দান করেছিলাম।
The people of the Book ask thee to cause a book to descend to them from heaven: Indeed they asked Moses for an even greater (miracle), for they said: "Show us Allah in public," but they were dazed for their presumption, with thunder and lightning. Yet they worshipped the calf even after clear signs had come to them; even so we forgave them; and gave Moses manifest proofs of authority. |

আয়াতঃ ১৫৩) |
| 15 |
অতএব, তাদের অঙ্গীকার ভঙ্গের দরুন আমি তাদের উপর অভিসম্পাত করেছি এবং তাদের অন্তরকে কঠোর করে দিয়েছি। তারা কালামকে তার স্থান থেকে বিচ্যুত করে দেয় এবং তাদেরকে যে উপদেশ দেয়া হয়েছিল, তারা তা থেকে উপকার লাভ করার বিষয়টি বিস্মৃত হয়েছে। আপনি সর্বদা তাদের কোন না কোন প্রতারণা সম্পর্কে অবগত হতে থাকেন, তাদের অল্প কয়েকজন ছাড়া। অতএব, আপনি তাদেরকে ক্ষমা করুন এবং মার্জনা করুন। আল্লাহ অনুগ্রহকারীদেরকে ভালবাসেন।
But because of their breach of their covenant, We cursed them, and made their hearts grow hard; they change the words from their (right) places and forget a good part of the message that was sent them, nor wilt thou cease to find them- barring a few - ever bent on (new) deceits: but forgive them, and overlook (their misdeeds): for Allah loveth those who are kind. |
(আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১৩) |
| 16 |
বলুনঃ আমি তোমাদেরকে বলি, তাদের মধ্যে কার মন্দ প্রতিফল রয়েছে আল্লাহর কাছে? যাদের প্রতি আল্লাহ অভিসম্পাত করেছেন, যাদের প্রতি তিনি ক্রোধাম্বিত হয়েছেন, যাদের কতককে বানর ও শুকরে রূপান্তরিত করে দিয়েছেন এবং যারা শয়তানের আরাধনা করেছে, তারাই মর্যাদার দিক দিয়ে নিকৃষ্টতর এবং সত্যপথ থেকেও অনেক দূরে।
Say: "Shall I point out to you something much worse than this, (as judged) by the treatment it received from Allah? those who incurred the curse of Allah and His wrath, those of whom some He transformed into apes and swine, those who worshipped evil;- these are (many times) worse in rank, and far more astray from the even path!" |

আয়াতঃ ৬০) |
| 17 |
আর ইহুদীরা বলেঃ আল্লাহর হাত বন্ধ হয়ে গেছে। তাদেরই হাত বন্ধ হোক। একথা বলার জন্যে তাদের প্রতি অভিসম্পাত। বরং তাঁর উভয় হস্ত উম্মুক্ত। তিনি যেরূপ ইচ্ছা ব্যয় করেন। আপনার প্রতি পলনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে যে কালাম অবর্তীণ হয়েছে, তার কারণে তাদের অনেকের অবাধ্যতা ও কুফর পরিবর্ধিত হবে। আমি তাদের পরস্পরের মধ্যে কেয়ামত পর্যন্ত শত্রুতা ও বিদ্বেষ সঞ্চারিত করে দিয়েছি। তারা যখনই যুদ্ধের আগুন প্রজ্জ?482;িত করে, আল্লাহ তা নির্বাপিত করে দেন। তারা দেশে অশান্তি উৎপাদন করে বেড়ায়। আল্লাহ অশান্তি ও বিশৃঙ্খলা সৃষ্টিকারীদেরকে পছন্দ করেন না।
The Jews say: "Allah's hand is tied up." Be their hands tied up and be they accursed for the (blasphemy) they utter. Nay, both His hands are widely outstretched: He giveth and spendeth (of His bounty) as He pleaseth. But the revelation that cometh to thee from Allah increaseth in most of them their obstinate rebellion and blasphemy. Amongst them we have placed enmity and hatred till the Day of Judgment. Every time they kindle the fire of war, Allah doth extinguish it; but they (ever) strive to do mischief on earth. And Allah loveth not those who do mischief. |

আয়াতঃ ৬৪) |
| 18 |
বনী-ইসলাঈলের মধ্যে যারা কাফের, তাদেরকে দাউদ ও মরিয়মতনয় ঈসার মুখে অভিসম্পাত করা হয়েছে। এটা একারণে যে, তারা অবাধ্যতা করত এবং সীমা লংঘন করত।
Curses were pronounced on those among the Children of Israel who rejected Faith, by the tongue of David and of Jesus the son of Mary: because they disobeyed and persisted in excesses. |

| 19 |
তাঁর কাছেই অদৃশ্য জগতের চাবি রয়েছে। এ গুলো তিনি ব্যতীত কেউ জানে না। স্থলে ও জলে যা আছে, তিনিই জানেন। কোন পাতা ঝরে না; কিন্তু তিনি তা জানেন। কোন শস্য কণা মৃত্তিকার অন্ধকার অংশে পতিত হয় না এবং কোন আর্দ্র ও শুস্ক দ্রব্য পতিত হয় না; কিন্তু তা সব প্রকাশ্য গ্রন্থে রয়েছে।
With Him are the keys of the unseen, the treasures that none knoweth but He. He knoweth whatever there is on the earth and in the sea. Not a leaf doth fall but with His knowledge: there is not a grain in the darkness (or depths) of the earth, nor anything fresh or dry (green or withered), but is (inscribed) in a record clear (to those who can read). |

প্রত্যেকের জন্যে তাদের কর্মের আনুপাতিক মর্যাদা আছে এবং আপনার প্রতিপালক তাদের কর্ম সম্পর্কে বেখবর নন।
To all are degrees (or ranks) according to their deeds: for thy Lord is not unmindful of anything that they do. |
(আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ১৩২) |
| 21 |
অতঃপর প্রতারণাপূর্বক তাদেরকে সম্মত করে ফেলল। অনন্তর যখন তারা বৃক্ষ আস্বাদন করল, তখন তাদের লজ্জাস্থান তাদের সামনে খুলে গেল এবং তারা নিজের উপর বেহেশতের পাতা জড়াতে লাগল। তাদের প্রতিপালক তাদেরকে ডেকে বললেনঃ আমি কি তোমাদেরকে এ বৃক্ষ থেকে নিষেধ করিনি এবং বলিনি যে, শয়তান তোমাদের প্রকাশ্য শত্রু।
So by deceit he brought about their fall: when they tasted of the tree, their shame became manifest to them, and they began to sew together the leaves of the garden over their bodies. And their Lord called unto them: "Did I not forbid you that tree, and tell you that Satan was an avowed enemy unto you?" |
(আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ২২) |
| 22 |
আল্লাহ বলবেনঃ তোমাদের পূর্বে জিন ও মানবের যেসব সম্প্রদায় চলে গেছে, তাদের সাথে তোমরাও দোযখে যাও। যখন এক সম্প্রদায় প্রবেশ করবে; তখন অন্য সম্প্রদায়কে অভিসম্পাত করবে। এমনকি, যখন তাতে সবাই পতিত হবে, তখন পরবর্তীরা পূর্ববর্তীদের সম্পর্কে বলবেঃ হে আমাদের প্রতিপালক এরাই আমাদেরকে বিপথগামী করেছিল। অতএব, আপনি তাদেরকে দ্বিগুণ শাস্তি দিন। আল্লাহ বলবেন প্রত্যেকেরই দ্বিগুণ; তোমরা জান না।
He will say: "Enter ye in the company of the peoples who passed away before you - men and jinns, - into the Fire." Every time a new people enters, it curses its sister-people (that went before), until they follow each other, all into the Fire. Saith the last about the first: "Our Lord! it is these that misled us: so give them a double penalty in the Fire." He will say: "Doubled for all": but this ye do not understand. |

আয়াতঃ ৩৮) |
| 23 |
জান্নাতীরা দোযখীদেরকে ডেকে বলবেঃ আমাদের সাথে আমাদের প্রতিপালক যে ওয়াদা করেছিলেন, তা আমরা সত্য পেয়েছি? অতএব, তোমরাও কি তোমাদের প্রতিপালকের ওয়াদা সত্য পেয়েছ? তারা বলবেঃ হ্যাঁ। অতঃপর একজন ঘোষক উভয়ের মাঝখানে ঘোষণা করবেঃ আল্লাহর অভিসম্পাত জালেমদের উপর।
The Companions of the Garden will call out to the Companions of the Fire: "We have indeed found the promises of our Lord to us true: Have you also found Your Lord's promises true?" They shall say, "Yes"; but a crier shall proclaim between them: "The curse of Allah is on the wrong-doers;- |
(আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৪৪) |
| 24 |
আপাততঃ বর্তমান এ শাস্তি তোমরা আস্বাদন করে নাও এবং জেনে রাখ যে, কাফেরদের জন্য রয়েছে দোযখের আযাব।
Thus (will it be said): "Taste ye then of the (punishment): for those who resist Allah, is the penalty of the Fire." |
(আল-আনফাল:
আয়াতঃ ১৪) |
| 25 |
নবীর পক্ষে উচিত নয় বন্দীদিগকে নিজের কাছে রাখা, যতক্ষণ না দেশময় প্রচুর রক্তপাত ঘটাবে। তোমরা পার্থিব সম্পদ কামনা কর, অথচ আল্লাহ চান আখেরাত। আর আল্লাহ হচ্ছেন পরাক্রমশালী হেকমতওয়ালা।
It is not fitting for a prophet that he should have prisoners of war until he hath thoroughly subdued the land. Ye look for the temporal goods of this world; but Allah looketh to the Hereafter: And Allah is Exalted in might, Wise. |
(আল-আনফাল:
আয়াতঃ ৬৭) |
| 26 |
তোমরা কি সেই দলের সাথে যুদ্ধ করবে না; যারা ভঙ্গ করেছে নিজেদের শপথ এবং সঙ্কল্প নিয়েছে রসূলকে বহিস্কারের? আর এরাই প্রথম তোমাদের সাথে বিবাদের সূত্রপাত করেছে। তোমরা কি তাদের ভয় কর? অথচ তোমাদের ভয়ের অধিকতর যোগ্য হলেন আল্লাহ, যদি তোমরা মুমিন হও।
Will ye not fight people who violated their oaths, plotted to expel the Messenger, and took the aggressive by being the first (to assault) you? Do ye fear them? Nay, it is Allah Whom ye should more justly fear, if ye believe! |
(আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১৩) |
| 27 |
ওয়াদা করেছেন আল্লাহ, মুনাফেক পুরুষ ও মুনাফেক নারীদের এবং কাফেরদের জন্যে দোযখের আগুনের-তাতে পড়ে থাকবে সর্বদা। সেটাই তাদের জন্যে যথেষ্ট। আর আল্লাহ তাদের প্রতি অভিসম্পাত করেছেন এবং তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে স্থায়ী আযাব।
Allah hath promised the Hypocrites men and women, and the rejecters, of Faith, the fire of Hell: Therein shall they dwell: Sufficient is it for them: for them is the curse of Allah, and an enduring punishment,- |
(আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৬৮) |

আর তাদের চেয়ে বড় যালেম কে হতে পারে, যারা আল্লাহর প্রতি মিথ্যারোপ করে। এসব লোককে তাদের পালনকর্তার সাক্ষাত সম্মূখীন করা হবে আর সাক্ষিগণ বলতে থাকবে, এরাই ঐসব লোক, যারা তাদের পালনকর্তার প্রতি মিথ্যারোপ করেছিল। শুনে রাখ, যালেমদের উপর আল্লাহর অভিসম্পাত রয়েছে।
Who doth more wrong than those who invent a life against Allah? They will be turned back to the presence of their Lord, and the witnesses will say, "These are the ones who lied against their Lord! Behold! the Curse of Allah is on those who do wrong!- |
(হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ১৮) |
| 29 |
আর নির্দেশ দেয়া হল-হে পৃথিবী! তোমার পানি গিলে ফেল, আর হে আকাশ, ক্ষান্ত হও। আর পানি হ্রাস করা হল এবং কাজ শেষ হয়ে গেল, আর জুদী পর্বতে নৌকা ভিড়ল এবং ঘোষনা করা হল, দুরাত্না কাফেররা নিপাত যাক।
Then the word went forth: "O earth! swallow up thy water, and O sky! Withhold (thy rain)!" and the water abated, and the matter was ended. The Ark rested on Mount Judi, and the word went forth: "Away with those who do wrong!" |
(হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ৪৪) |
| 30 |
এ দুনিয়ায় তাদের পিছনে পিছনে লা’নত রয়েছে এবং কেয়ামতের দিনেও; জেনে রাখ, আদ জাতি তাদের পালনকর্তাকে অস্বীকার করেছে, হুদের জ্ঞাতি আদ জাতির প্রতি অভিসম্পাত রয়েছে জেনে রাখ।
And they were pursued by a Curse in this life,- and on the Day of Judgment. Ah! Behold! for the 'Ad rejected their Lord and Cherisher! Ah! Behold! removed (from sight) were 'Ad the people of Hud! |

যেন তারা সেখানে কখনো বসবাসই করে নাই। জেনে রাখ, সামুদের প্রতি অভিসম্পাতের মত মাদইয়ানবাসীর উপরেও অভিসম্পাত।
As if they had never dwelt and flourished there! Ah! Behold! How the Madyan were removed (from sight) as were removed the Thamud! |

অতঃপর যখন ইউসুফ তাদের রসদপত্র প্রস্তুত করে দিল, তখন পানপাত্র আপন ভাইয়ের রসদের মধ্যে রেখে দিল। অতঃপর একজন ঘোষক ডেকে বললঃ হে কাফেলার লোকজন, তোমরা অবশ্যই চোর।
At length when he had furnished them forth with provisions (suitable) for them, he put the drinking cup into his brother's saddle-bag. Then shouted out a crier: "O ye (in) the caravan! behold! ye are thieves, without doubt!" |

তারা বললঃ আমরা বাদশাহর পানপাত্র হারিয়েছি এবং যে কেউ এটা এনে দেবে সে এক উটের বোঝা পরিমাণ মাল পাবে এবং আমি এর যামিন।
They said: "We miss the great beaker of the king; for him who produces it, is (the reward of) a camel load; I will be bound by it." |

অতঃপর ইউসুফ আপন ভাইদের থলের পূর্বে তাদের থলে তল্লাশী শুরু করলেন। অবশেষে সেই পাত্র আপন ভাইয়ের থলের মধ্য থেকে বের করলেন। এমনিভাবে আমি ইউসুফকে কৌশল শিক্ষা দিয়েছিলাম। সে বাদশাহর আইনে আপন ভাইকে কখনও দাসত্বে দিতে পারত না, কিু栦#2438;ল্লাহ যদি ইচ্ছা করেন। আমি যাকে ইচ্ছা, মর্যাদায় উন্নীত করি এবং প্রত্যেক জ্ঞানীর উপরে আছে অধিকতর এক জ্ঞানীজন।
So he began (the search) with their baggage, before (he came to) the baggage of his brother: at length he brought it out of his brother's baggage. Thus did We plan for Joseph. He could not take his brother by the law of the king except that Allah willed it (so). We raise to degrees (of wisdom) whom We please: but over all endued with knowledge is one, the All-Knowing. |

তাঁর প্রশংসা পাঠ করে বজ্র এবং সব ফেরেশতা, সভয়ে। তিনি বজ্রপাত করেন, অতঃপর যাকে ইচছা, তাকে তা দ্বারা আঘাত করেন; তথাপি তারা আল্লাহ সম্পর্কে বিতন্ডা করে, অথচ তিনি মহাশক্তিশালী।
Nay, thunder repeateth His praises, and so do the angels, with awe: He flingeth the loud-voiced thunder-bolts, and therewith He striketh whomsoever He will.. yet these (are the men) who (dare to) dispute about Allah, with the strength of His power (supreme)! |

এবং যারা আল্লাহর অঙ্গীকারকে দৃঢ় ও পাকা-পোক্ত করার পর তা ভঙ্গ করে, আল্লাহ যে, সম্পর্ক বজায় রাখতে আদেশ করেছেন, তা ছিন্ন করে এবং পৃথিবীতে অশান্তি সৃষ্টি করে, ওরা ঐ সমস্ত লোক যাদের জন্যে রয়েছে অভিসম্পাত এবং ওদের জন্যে রয়েছে কঠিন আযাব।
But those who break the Covenant of Allah, after having plighted their word thereto, and cut asunder those things which Allah has commanded to be joined, and work mischief in the land;- on them is the curse; for them is the terrible home! |

এবং তোমার প্রতি ন্যায় বিচারের দিন পর্যন্ত অভিসম্পাত।
"And the curse shall be on thee till the day of Judgment." |
(হিজর:
আয়াতঃ ৩৫) |

যদি তারা এই বিষয়বস্তুর প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন না করে, তবে তাদের পশ্চাতে সম্ভবতঃ আপনি পরিতাপ করতে করতে নিজের প্রাণ নিপাত করবেন।
Thou wouldst only, perchance, fret thyself to death, following after them, in grief, if they believe not in this Message. |

তাদেরই জন্যে আছে বসবাসের জান্নাত। তাদের পাদদেশে প্রবাহিত হয় নহরসমূহ। তাদের তথায় স্বর্ণ-কংকনে অলংকৃত করা হবে এবং তারা পাতলা ও মোটা রেশমের সবুজ কাপর পরিধান করবে এমতাবস্থায় যে, তারা সিংহাসনে সমাসীন হবে। চমৎকার প্রতিদান এবং কত উত্তম আশ্রয়।
For them will be Gardens of Eternity; beneath them rivers will flow; they will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold, and they will wear green garments of fine silk and heavy brocade: They will recline therein on raised thrones. How good the recompense! How beautiful a couch to recline on! |

তাদের কাছে পার্থিব জীবনের উপমা বর্ণনা করুন। তা পানির ন্যায়, যা আমি আকাশ থেকে নাযিল করি। অতঃপর এর সংমিশ্রণে শ্যামল সবুজ ভূমিজ লতা-পাতা নির্গত হয়; অতঃপর তা এমন শুস্ক চুর্ণ-বিচুর্ণ হয় যে, বাতাসে উড়ে যায়। আল্লাহ এ সবকিছুর উপর শক্তিমান।
Set forth to them the similitude of the life of this world: It is like the rain which we send down from the skies: the earth's vegetation absorbs it, but soon it becomes dry stubble, which the winds do scatter: it is (only) Allah who prevails over all things. |

তোমরা আমাকে লোহার পাত এনে দাও। অবশেষে যখন পাহাড়ের মধ্যবর্তী ফাঁকা স্থান পূর্ণ হয়ে গেল, তখন তিনি বললেনঃ তোমরা হাঁপরে দম দিতে থাক। অবশেষে যখন তা আগুনে পরিণত হল, তখন তিনি বললেনঃ তোমরা গলিত তামা নিয়ে এস, আমি তা এর উপরে ঢেলে দেই।
"Bring me blocks of iron." At length, when he had filled up the space between the two steep mountain-sides, He said, "Blow (with your bellows)" Then, when he had made it (red) as fire, he said: "Bring me, that I may pour over it, molten lead." |

যেদিন তোমরা তা প্রত্যক্ষ করবে, সেদিন প্রত্যেক স্তন্যধাত্রী তার দুধের শিশুকে বিস্মৃত হবে এবং প্রত্যেক গর্ভবতী তার গর্ভপাত করবে এবং মানুষকে তুমি দেখবে মাতাল; অথচ তারা মাতাল নয় বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহর আযাব সুকঠিন।
The Day ye shall see it, every mother giving suck shall forget her suckling-babe, and every pregnant female shall drop her load (unformed): thou shalt see mankind as in a drunken riot, yet not drunk: but dreadful will be the Wrath of Allah. |

অতঃপর তোমরা তাদেরকে ঠাট্টার পাত্ররূপে গ্রহণ করতে। এমনকি, তা তোমাদেরকে আমার স্মরণ ভুলিয়ে দিয়েছিল এবং তোমরা তাদেরকে দেখে পরিহাস করতে।
"But ye treated them with ridicule, so much so that (ridicule of) them made you forget My Message while ye were laughing at them! |

আল্লাহ নভোমন্ডল ও ভূমন্ডলের জ্যোতি, তাঁর জ্যোতির উদাহরণ যেন একটি কুলঙ্গি, যাতে আছে একটি প্রদীপ, প্রদীপটি একটি কাঁচপাত্রে স্থাপিত, কাঁচপাত্রটি উজ্জ্বল নক্ষত্র সদৃশ্য। তাতে পুতঃপবিত্র যয়তুন বৃক্ষের তৈল প্রজ্বলিত হয়, যা পূর্বমুখী নয় এবং পশ্চিমমুখীও নয়। অগ্নি স্পর্শ না করলেও তার তৈল যেন আলোকিত হওয়ার নিকটবর্তী। জ্যোতির উপর জ্যোতি। আল্লাহ যাকে ইচ্ছা পথ দেখান তাঁর জ্যোতির দিকে। আল্লাহ মানুষের জন্যে দৃষ্টান্তসমূহ বর্ণনা করেন এবং আল্লাহ সব বিষয়ে জ্ঞাত।
Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The Parable of His Light is as if there were a Niche and within it a Lamp: the Lamp enclosed in Glass: the glass as it were a brilliant star: Lit from a blessed Tree, an Olive, neither of the east nor of the west, whose oil is well-nigh luminous, though fire scarce touched it: Light upon Light! Allah doth guide whom He will to His Light: Allah doth set forth Parables for men: and Allah doth know all things. |

আয়াতঃ ৩৫) |

তারা যখন আপনাকে দেখে, তখন আপনাকে কেবল বিদ্রুপের পাত্ররূপে গ্রহণ করে, বলে, এ-ই কি সে যাকে আল্লাহ ‘রসূল’ করে প্রেরণ করেছেন?
When they see thee, they treat thee no otherwise than in mockery: "Is this the one whom Allah has sent as a messenger?" |
(আল-ফুরকান:
আয়াতঃ ৪১) |
| 46 |
তারা কি ভুপৃষ্ঠের প্রতি দৃষ্টিপাত করে না? আমি তাতে সর্বপ্রকার বিশেষ-বস্তু কত উদগত করেছি।
Do they not look at the earth,- how many noble things of all kinds We have produced therein? |
(আশ-শো'আরা:

অতএব, তারা তাঁকে মিথ্যাবাদী বলতে লাগল এবং আমি তাদেরকে নিপাত করে দিলাম। এতে অবশ্যই নিদর্শন আছে; কিন্তু তাদের অধিকাংশই বিশ্বাসী নয়।
So they rejected him, and We destroyed them. Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. |
(আশ-শো'আরা:
আয়াতঃ ১৩৯) |

এরপর অন্যদেরকে নিপাত করলাম।
But the rest We destroyed utterly. |

তাকে বলা হল, এই প্রাসাদে প্রবেশ কর। যখন সে তার প্রতি দৃষ্টিপাত করল সে ধারণা করল যে, এটা স্বচ্ছ গভীর জলাশয়। সে তার পায়ের গোছা খুলে ফেলল। সুলায়মান বলল, এটা তো স্বচ্ছ স্ফটিক নির্মিত প্রাসাদ। বিলকীস বলল, হে আমার পালনকর্তা, আমি তো নিজের প্রতি জুলুম করেছি। আমি সুলায়মানের সাথে বিশ্ব জাহানের পালনকর্তা আল্লাহর কাছে আত্নসমর্পন করলাম।
She was asked to enter the lofty Palace: but when she saw it, she thought it was a lake of water, and she (tucked up her skirts), uncovering her legs. He said: "This is but a palace paved smooth with slabs of glass." She said: "O my Lord! I have indeed wronged my soul: I do (now) submit (in Islam), with Solomon, to the Lord of the Worlds." |

আমি প্রত্যেককেই তার অপরাধের কারণে পাকড়াও করেছি। তাদের কারও প্রতি প্রেরণ করেছি প্রস্তরসহ প্রচন্ড বাতাস, কাউকে পেয়েছে বজ্রপাত, কাউকে আমি বিলীন করেছি ভূগর্ভে এবং কাউকে করেছি নিমজ্জত। আল্লাহ তাদের প্রতি যুলুম করার ছিলেন না; কিন্তু তারা নিজেরাই নিজেদের প্রতি যুলুম করেছে।
Each one of them We seized for his crime: of them, against some We sent a violent tornado (with showers of stones); some were caught by a (mighty) Blast; some We caused the earth to swallow up; and some We drowned (in the waters): It was not Allah Who injured (or oppressed) them:" They injured (and oppressed) their own souls. |

যারা আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূলকে কষ্ট দেয়, আল্লাহ তাদের প্রতি ইহকালে ও পরকালে অভিসম্পাত করেন এবং তাদের জন্যে প্রস্তুত রেখেছেন অবমাননাকর শাস্তি।
Those who annoy Allah and His Messenger - Allah has cursed them in this World and in the Hereafter, and has prepared for them a humiliating Punishment. |
(আল আহযাব:
আয়াতঃ ৫৭) |
| 52 |
নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ কাফেরদেরকে অভিসম্পাত করেছেন এবং তাদের জন্যে জ্বলন্ত অগ্নি প্রস্তুত রেখেছেন।
Verily Allah has cursed the Unbelievers and prepared for them a Blazing Fire,- |
(আল আহযাব:
আয়াতঃ ৬৪) |
| 53 |
হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা! তাদেরকে দ্বিগুণ শাস্তি দিন এবং তাদেরকে মহা অভিসম্পাত করুন।
"Our Lord! Give them double Penalty and curse them with a very great Curse!" |
(আল আহযাব:
আয়াতঃ ৬৮) |

তারা সোলায়মানের ইচ্ছানুযায়ী দুর্গ, ভাস্কর্য, হাউযসদৃশ বৃহদাকার পাত্র এবং চুল্লির উপর স্থাপিত বিশাল ডেগ নির্মাণ করত। হে দাউদ পরিবার! কৃতজ্ঞতা সহকারে তোমরা কাজ করে যাও। আমার বান্দাদের মধ্যে অল্পসংখ্যকই কৃতজ্ঞ।
They worked for him as he desired, (making) arches, images, basons as large as reservoirs, and (cooking) cauldrons fixed (in their places): "Work ye, sons of David, with thanks! but few of My servants are grateful!" |

তাদেরকে ঘুরে ফিরে পরিবেশন করা হবে স্বচ্ছ পানপাত্র।
Round will be passed to them a Cup from a clear-flowing fountain, |
(আস-সাফফাত:
আয়াতঃ ৪৫) |
| 56 |
আমরা কি অহেতুক তাদেরকে ঠাট্টার পাত্র করে নিয়েছিলাম, না আমাদের দৃষ্টি ভুল করছে?
"Did we treat them (as such) in ridicule, or have (our) eyes failed to perceive them?" |
(ছোয়াদ:
আয়াতঃ ৬৩) |
| 57 |
তাদের কাছে পরিবেশন করা হবে স্বর্ণের থালা ও পানপাত্র এবং তথায় রয়েছে মনে যা চায় এবং নয়ন যাতে তৃপ্ত হয়। তোমরা তথায় চিরকাল অবস্থান করবে।
To them will be passed round, dishes and goblets of gold: there will be there all that the souls could desire, all that their eyes could delight in: and ye shall abide therein (for eye). |
(যুখরুফ:
আয়াতঃ ৭১) |
| 58 |
তাদের মধ্যে কতক আপনার দিকে কান পাতে, অতঃপর যখন আপনার কাছ থেকে বাইরে যায়, তখন যারা শিক্ষিত, তাদেরকে বলেঃ এইমাত্র তিনি কি বললেন ? এদের অন্তরে আল্লাহ মোহর মেরে দিয়েছেন এবং তারা নিজেদের খেয়াল-খুশীর অনুসরণ করে।
And among them are men who listen to thee, but in the end, when they go out from thee, they say to those who have received Knowledge, "What is it he said just then?" Such are men whose hearts Allah has sealed, and who follow their own lusts. |
(মুহাম্মদ:
আয়াতঃ ১৬) |
| 59 |
এদের প্রতিই আল্লাহ অভিসম্পাত করেন, অতঃপর তাদেরকে বধির ও দৃষ্টিশক্তিহীন করেন।
Such are the men whom Allah has cursed for He has made them deaf and blinded their sight. |
(মুহাম্মদ:
আয়াতঃ ২৩) |
| 60 |
তারা কি তাদের উপরস্থিত আকাশের পানে দৃষ্টিপাত করে না আমি কিভাবে তা নির্মাণ করেছি এবং সুশোভিত করেছি? তাতে কোন ছিদ্রও নেই।
Do they not look at the sky above them?- How We have made it and adorned it, and there are no flaws in it? |
(ক্বাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৬) |

সেখানে তারা একে অপরকে পানপাত্র দেবে; যাতে অসার বকাবকি নেই এবং পাপকর্মও নেই।
They shall there exchange, one with another, a (loving) cup free of frivolity, free of all taint of ill. |
(আত্ব তূর:
আয়াতঃ ২৩) |

পানপাত্র কুঁজা ও খাঁটি সূরাপূর্ণ পেয়ালা হাতে নিয়ে,
With goblets, (shining) beakers, and cups (filled) out of clear-flowing fountains: |

আয়াতঃ ১৮) |

তোমরা কি ভেবে দেখেছ, তোমাদের বীর্যপাত সম্পর্কে।
Do ye then see?- The (human Seed) that ye throw out,- |
(আল ওয়াক্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৫৮) |
| 64 |
হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা! তুমি আমাদেরকে কাফেরদের জন্য পরীক্ষার পাত্র করো না। হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা! আমাদের ক্ষমা কর। নিশ্চয় তুমি পরাক্রমশালী, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
"Our Lord! Make us not a (test and) trial for the Unbelievers, but forgive us, our Lord! for Thou art the Exalted in Might, the Wise." |
(আল মুমতাহিনা:
আয়াতঃ ৫) |
| 65 |
যা তিনি প্রবাহিত করেছিলেন তাদের উপর সাত রাত্রি ও আট দিবস পর্যন্ত অবিরাম। আপনি তাদেরকে দেখতেন যে, তারা অসার খর্জুর কান্ডের ন্যায় ভূপাতিত হয়ে রয়েছে।
He made it rage against them seven nights and eight days in succession: so that thou couldst see the (whole) people lying prostrate in its (path), as they had been roots of hollow palm-trees tumbled down! |
(আল হাক্বক্বাহ:

সে আবার দৃষ্টিপাত করেছে,
Then he looked round; |
(আল মুদ্দাসসির:
আয়াতঃ ২১) |
| 67 |
নিশ্চয়ই সৎকর্মশীলরা পান করবে কাফুর মিশ্রিত পানপাত্র।
As to the Righteous, they shall drink of a Cup (of Wine) mixed with Kafur,- |
(আদ-দাহর:
আয়াতঃ ৫) |
| 68 |
তাদেরকে পরিবেশন করা হবে রূপার পাত্রে এবং স্ফটিকের মত পানপাত্রে।
And amongst them will be passed round vessels of silver and goblets of crystal,- |
(আদ-দাহর:
আয়াতঃ ১৫) |
| 69 |
রূপালী স্ফটিক পাত্রে, পরিবেশনকারীরা তা পরিমাপ করে পূর্ণ করবে।
Crystal-clear, made of silver: they will determine the measure thereof (according to their wishes). |
(আদ-দাহর:
আয়াতঃ ১৬) |
| 70 |
তাদেরকে সেখানে পান করানো হবে ‘যানজাবীল’ মিশ্রিত পানপাত্র।
And they will be given to drink there of a Cup (of Wine) mixed with Zanjabil,- |

আমি জলধর মেঘমালা থেকে প্রচুর বৃষ্টিপাত করি,
And do We not send down from the clouds water in abundance, |
(আন-নাবা:
আয়াতঃ ১৪) |

ও পাতাঘন উদ্যান।
And gardens of luxurious growth? |
(আন-নাবা:
আয়াতঃ ১৬) |

এবং পূর্ণ পানপাত্র।
And a cup full (to the brim). |

Goblets placed (ready), |
