তিনি বললেন, হে পালনকর্তা আমার জন্য কিছু নিদর্শন দাও। তিনি বললেন, তোমার জন্য নিদর্শন হলো এই যে, তুমি তিন দিন পর্যন্ত কারও সাথে কথা বলবে না। তবে ইশারা ইঙ্গতে করতে পারবে এবং তোমার পালনকর্তাকে অধিক পরিমাণে স্মরণ করবে আর সকাল-সন্ধ্যা তাঁর পবিত্রতা ও মহিমা ঘোষনা করবে।
He said: "O my Lord! Give me a Sign!" "Thy Sign," was the answer, "Shall be that thou shalt speak to no man for three days but with signals. Then celebrate the praises of thy Lord again and again, and glorify Him in the evening and in the morning." |

বস্তুতঃ ইহুদীদের জন্য আমি হারাম করে দিয়েছি বহু পূত-পবিত্র বস্তু যা তাদের জন্য হালাল ছিল-তাদের পাপের কারণে এবং আল্লাহর পথে অধিক পরিমাণে বাধা দানের দরুন।
For the iniquity of the Jews We made unlawful for them certain (foods) good and wholesome which had been lawful for them;- in that they hindered many from Allah's Way;- |

আপনি বলে দিনঃ যদি আমার কাছে তা থাকত, যা তোমরা শীঘ্র দাবী করছ, তবে আমার ও তোমাদের পারস্পরিক বিবাদ কবেই চুকে যেত। আল্লাহ জালেমদের সম্পর্কে যথেষ্ট পরিমাণে অবহিত।
Say: "If what ye would see hastened were in my power, the matter would be settled at once between you and me. But Allah knoweth best those who do wrong." |
(আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ৫৮) |

হে ঈমানদারগণ, তোমরা যখন কোন বাহিনীর সাথে সংঘাতে লিপ্ত হও, তখন সুদৃঢ় থাক এবং আল্লাহকে অধিক পরিমাণে স্মরণ কর যাতে তোমরা উদ্দেশ্যে কৃতকার্য হতে পার।
O ye who believe! When ye meet a force, be firm, and call Allah in remembrance much (and often); that ye may prosper: |

এবং বেশী পরিমাণে আপনাকে স্মরণ করতে পারি।
"And remember Thee without stint: |
(ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ৩৪) |
| 6 |
এ তো শুনলে, যে ব্যক্তি নিপীড়িত হয়ে নিপীড়ন পরিমাণে প্রতিশোধ গ্রহণ করে এবং পুনরায় সে নিপীড়িত হয়, আল্লাহ অবশ্যই তাকে সাহায্য করবেন। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ মার্জনাকারী ক্ষমাশীল।
That (is so). And if one has retaliated to no greater extent than the injury he received, and is again set upon inordinately, Allah will help him: for Allah is One that blots out (sins) and forgives (again and again). |

মুমিনগণ তোমরা আল্লাহকে অধিক পরিমাণে স্মরণ কর।
O ye who believe! Celebrate the praises of Allah, and do this often; |
(আল আহযাব:
আয়াতঃ ৪১) |

বলুন, আমার পালনকর্তা তাঁর বান্দাদের মধ্যে যাকে ইচ্ছা রিযিক বাড়িয়ে দেন এবং সীমিত পরিমাণে দেন। তোমরা যা কিছু ব্যয় কর, তিনি তার বিনিময় দেন। তিনি উত্তম রিযিক দাতা।
Say: "Verily my Lord enlarges and restricts the Sustenance to such of his servants as He pleases: and nothing do ye spend in the least (in His cause) but He replaces it: for He is the Best of those who grant Sustenance. |

আয়াতঃ ৩৯) |

এবং বিপুল পরিমাণে যুদ্ধলব্ধ সম্পদ, যা তারা লাভ করবে। আল্লাহ পরাক্রমশালী, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
And many gains will they acquire (besides): and Allah is Exalted in Power, Full of Wisdom. |
(আল ফাতহ:
আয়াতঃ ১৯) |

বিত্তশালী ব্যক্তি তার বিত্ত অনুযায়ী ব্যয় করবে। যে ব্যক্তি সীমিত পরিমাণে রিযিকপ্রাপ্ত, সে আল্লাহ যা দিয়েছেন, তা থেকে ব্যয় করবে। আল্লাহ যাকে যা দিয়েছেন, তদপেক্ষা বেশী ব্যয় করার আদেশ কাউকে করেন না। আল্লাহ কষ্টের পর সুখ দেবেন।
Let the man of means spend according to his means: and the man whose resources are restricted, let him spend according to what Allah has given him. Allah puts no burden on any person beyond what He has given him. After a difficulty, Allah will soon grant relief. |

আল্লাহ সপ্তাকাশ সৃষ্টি করেছেন এবং পৃথিবীও সেই পরিমাণে, এসবের মধ্যে তাঁর আদেশ অবতীর্ণ হয়, যাতে তোমরা জানতে পার যে, আল্লাহ সর্বশক্তিমান এবং সবকিছু তাঁর গোচরীভূত।
Allah is He Who created seven Firmaments and of the earth a similar number. Through the midst of them (all) descends His Command: that ye may know that Allah has power over all things, and that Allah comprehends, all things in (His) Knowledge. |
