হে বনী-আদম! তোমরা প্রত্যেক নামাযের সময় সাজসজ্জা পরিধান করে নাও, খাও ও পান কর এবং অপব্যয় করো না। তিনি অপব্যয়ীদেরকে পছন্দ করেন না।
O Children of Adam! wear your beautiful apparel at every time and place of prayer: eat and drink: But waste not by excess, for Allah loveth not the wasters. |

তাদেরই জন্যে আছে বসবাসের জান্নাত। তাদের পাদদেশে প্রবাহিত হয় নহরসমূহ। তাদের তথায় স্বর্ণ-কংকনে অলংকৃত করা হবে এবং তারা পাতলা ও মোটা রেশমের সবুজ কাপর পরিধান করবে এমতাবস্থায় যে, তারা সিংহাসনে সমাসীন হবে। চমৎকার প্রতিদান এবং কত উত্তম আশ্রয়।
For them will be Gardens of Eternity; beneath them rivers will flow; they will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold, and they will wear green garments of fine silk and heavy brocade: They will recline therein on raised thrones. How good the recompense! How beautiful a couch to recline on! |

দু’টি সমুদ্র সমান হয় না-একটি মিঠা ও তৃষ্ণানিবারক এবং অপরটি লোনা। ঊভয়টি থেকেই তোমরা তাজা গোশত (মৎস) আহার কর এবং পরিধানে ব্যবহার্য গয়নাগাটি আহরণ কর। তুমি তাতে তার বুক চিরে জাহাজ চলতে দেখ, যাতে তোমরা তার অনুগ্রহ অন্বেষণ কর এবং যাতে তোমরা কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ কর।
Nor are the two bodies of flowing water alike,- the one palatable, sweet, and pleasant to drink, and the other, salt and bitter. Yet from each (kind of water) do ye eat flesh fresh and tender, and ye extract ornaments to wear; and thou seest the ships therein that plough the waves, that ye may seek (thus) of the Bounty of Allah that ye may be grateful. |

তাকে কেন স্বর্ণবলয় পরিধান করানো হল না, অথবা কেন আসল না তার সঙ্গে ফেরেশতাগণ দল বেঁধে?
"Then why are not gold bracelets bestowed on him, or (why) come (not) with him angels accompanying him in procession?" |

তারা পরিধান করবে চিকন ও পুরু রেশমীবস্ত্র, মুখোমুখি হয়ে বসবে।
Dressed in fine silk and in rich brocade, they will face each other; |

তাদের আবরণ হবে চিকন সবুজ রেশম ও মোটা সবুজ রেশম এবং তাদেরকে পরিধান করোনো হবে রৌপ্য নির্মিত কংকণ এবং তাদের পালনকর্তা তাদেরকে পান করাবেন ‘শরাবান-তহুরা’।
Upon them will be green Garments of fine silk and heavy brocade, and they will be adorned with Bracelets of silver; and their Lord will give to them to drink of a Wine Pure and Holy. |
