এমনিভাবে তোমার পালনকর্তা তোমাকে মনোনীত করবেন এবং তোমাকে বাণীসমূহের নিগুঢ় তত্ত্ব শিক্ষা দেবেন এবং পূর্ণ করবেন স্বীয় অনুগ্রহ তোমার প্রতি ও ইয়াকুব পরিবার-পরিজনের প্রতি; যেমন ইতিপূর্বে তোমার পিতৃপুরুষ ইব্রাহীম ও ইসহাকের প্রতি পূর্ণ করেছেন। নিশ্চয় তোমার পালনকর্তা অত্যন্ত জ্ঞানী, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
"Thus will thy Lord choose thee and teach thee the interpretation of stories (and events) and perfect His favour to thee and to the posterity of Jacob - even as He perfected it to thy fathers Abraham and Isaac aforetime! for Allah is full of knowledge and wisdom." |

তারা উভয়ে ছুটে দরজার দিকে গেল এবং মহিলা ইউসুফের জামা পিছন দিক থেকে ছিঁড়ে ফেলল। উভয়ে মহিলার স্বামীকে দরজার কাছে পেল। মহিলা বললঃ যে ব্যক্তি তোমার পরিজনের সাথে কুকর্মের ইচ্ছা করে, তাকে কারাগারে পাঠানো অথবা অন্য কোন যন্ত্রণাদায়ক শাস্তি দেয়া ছাড়া তার আর কি শাস্তি হতে পারে?
So they both raced each other to the door, and she tore his shirt from the back: they both found her lord near the door. She said: "What is the (fitting) punishment for one who formed an evil design against thy wife, but prison or a grievous chastisement?" |

তখন তারা ওছিয়ত করতেও সক্ষম হবে না। এবং তাদের পরিবার-পরিজনের কাছেও ফিরে যেতে পারবে না।
No (chance) will they then have, by will, to dispose (of their affairs), nor to return to their own people! |

জাহান্নামের সামনে উপস্থিত করার সময় আপনি তাদেরকে দেখবেন, অপমানে অবনত এবং অর্ধ নিমীলিত দৃষ্টিতে তাকায়। মুমিনরা বলবে, কেয়ামতের দিন ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত তারাই, যারা নিজেদের ও তাদের পরিবার-পরিজনের ক্ষতি সাধন করেছে। শুনে রাখ, পাপাচারীরা স্থায়ী আযাবে থাকবে।
And thou wilt see them brought forward to the (Penalty), in a humble frame of mind because of (their) disgrace, (and) looking with a stealthy glance. And the Believers will say: "Those are indeed in loss, who have given to perdition their own selves and those belonging to them on the Day of Judgment. Behold! Truly the Wrong-doers are in a lasting Penalty!" |

মরুবাসীদের মধ্যে যারা গৃহে বসে রয়েছে, তারা আপনাকে বলবেঃ আমরা আমাদের ধন-সম্পদ ও পরিবার-পরিজনের কাজে ব্যস্ত ছিলাম। অতএব, আমাদের পাপ মার্জনা করান। তারা মুখে এমন কথা বলবে, যা তাদের অন্তরে নেই। বলুনঃ আল্লাহ তোমাদের ক্ষতি অথবা উপকার সাধনের ইচ্ছা করলে কে তাকে বিরত রাখতে পারে? বরং তোমরা যা কর, আল্লাহ সে বিষয় পরিপূর্ণ জ্ঞাত।
The desert Arabs who lagged behind will say to thee: "We were engaged in (looking after) our flocks and herds, and our families: do thou then ask forgiveness for us." They say with their tongues what is not in their hearts. Say: "Who then has any power at all (to intervene) on your behalf with Allah, if His Will is to give you some loss or to give you some profit? But Allah is well acquainted with all that ye do. |

অতঃপর সে দম্ভভরে পরিবার-পরিজনের নিকট ফিরে গিয়েছে।
Then did he stalk to his family in full conceit! |
(আল ক্বেয়ামাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৩৩) |

তারা যখন তাদের পরিবার-পরিজনের কাছে ফিরত, তখনও হাসাহাসি করে ফিরত।
And when they returned to their own people, they would return jesting; |
(আত-তাতফীফ:
আয়াতঃ ৩১) |
| 8 |
এবং সে তার পরিবার-পরিজনের কাছে হৃষ্টচিত্তে ফিরে যাবে
And he will turn to his people, rejoicing! |

সে তার পরিবার-পরিজনের মধ্যে আনন্দিত ছিল।
Truly, did he go about among his people, rejoicing! |
