যারা আল্লাহর নিদর্শনাবলীকে অস্বীকার করে এবং পয়গম্বরগণকে হত্যা করে অন্যায়ভাবে, আর সেসব লোককে হত্যা করে যারা ন্যায়পরায়ণতার নির্দেশ দেয় তাদেরকে বেদনাদায়ক শাস্তির সংবাদ দিন।
As to those who deny the Signs of Allah and in defiance of right, slay the prophets, and slay those who teach just dealing with mankind, announce to them a grievous penalty. |

আর আমি সৃষ্টি করেছি দোযখের জন্য বহু জ্বিন ও মানুষ। তাদের অন্তর রয়েছে, তার দ্বারা বিবেচনা করে না, তাদের চোখ রয়েছে, তার দ্বারা দেখে না, আর তাদের কান রয়েছে, তার দ্বারা শোনে না। তারা চতুষ্পদ জন্তুর মত; বরং তাদের চেয়েও নিকৃষ্টতর। তারাই হল গাফেল, শৈথিল্যপরায়ণ।
Many are the Jinns and men we have made for Hell: They have hearts wherewith they understand not, eyes wherewith they see not, and ears wherewith they hear not. They are like cattle,- nay more misguided: for they are heedless (of warning). |

যখন সে পূর্ণ যৌবনে পৌছে গেল, তখন তাকে প্রজ্ঞা ও ব্যুৎপত্তি দান করলাম। এমননিভাবে আমি সৎকর্মপরায়ণদেরকে প্রতিদান দেই।
When Joseph attained His full manhood, We gave him power and knowledge: thus do We reward those who do right. |

আল্লাহ ন্যায়পরায়ণতা, সদাচরণ এবং আত্নীয়-স্বজনকে দান করার আদেশ দেন এবং তিনি অশ্লীলতা, অসঙ্গত কাজ এবং অবাধ্যতা করতে বারণ করেন। তিনি তোমাদের উপদেশ দেন যাতে তোমরা স্মরণ রাখ।
Allah commands justice, the doing of good, and liberality to kith and kin, and He forbids all shameful deeds, and injustice and rebellion: He instructs you, that ye may receive admonition. |

এই কোরআন এমন পথ প্রদর্শন করে, যা সর্বাধিক সরল এবং সৎকর্ম পরায়ণ মুমিনদেরকে সুসংবাদ দেয় যে, তাদের জন্যে মহা পুরস্কার রয়েছে।
Verily this Qur'an doth guide to that which is most right (or stable), and giveth the Glad Tidings to the Believers who work deeds of righteousness, that they shall have a magnificent reward; |

সপ্ত আকাশ ও পৃথিবী এবং এগুলোর মধ্যে যাকিছু আছে সমস্ত কিছু তাঁরই পবিত্রতা ও মহিমা ঘোষণা করে। এবং এমন কিছু নেই যা তার সপ্রশংস পবিত্রতা ও মহিমা ঘোষনা করে না। কিন্তু তাদের পবিত্রতা, মহিমা ঘোষণা তোমরা অনুধাবন করতে পার না। নিশ্চয় তিনি অতি সহনশীল, ক্ষমাপরায়ণ।
The seven heavens and the earth, and all beings therein, declare His glory: there is not a thing but celebrates His praise; And yet ye understand not how they declare His glory! Verily He is Oft-Forbear, Most Forgiving! |
(বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ৪৪) |

আমি তাকে দান করলাম ইসহাক ও পুরস্কার স্বরূপ দিলাম ইয়াকুব এবং প্রত্যেককেই সৎকর্ম পরায়ণ করলাম।
And We bestowed on him Isaac and, as an additional gift, (a grandson), Jacob, and We made righteous men of every one (of them). |

আমি তাঁদেরকে আমার রহমাতপ্রাপ্তদের অন্তর্ভূক্ত করেছিলাম। তাঁরা ছিলেন সৎকর্মপরায়ণ।
We admitted them to Our mercy: for they were of the righteous ones. |
(আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৮৬) |

আমি উপদেশের পর যবুরে লিখে দিয়েছি যে, আমার সৎকর্মপরায়ণ বান্দাগণ অবশেষে পৃথিবীর অধিকারী হবে।
Before this We wrote in the Psalms, after the Message (given to Moses): My servants the righteous, shall inherit the earth." |

আয়াতঃ ১০৫) |

পিতা মূসাকে বললেন, আমি আমার এই কন্যাদ্বয়ের একজনকে তোমার সাথে বিবাহে দিতে চাই এই শর্তে যে, তুমি আট বছর আমার চাকুরী করবে, যদি তুমি দশ বছর পূর্ণ কর, তা তোমার ইচ্ছা। আমি তোমাকে কষ্ট দিতে চাই না। আল্লাহ চাহেন তো তুমি আমাকে সৎকর্মপরায়ণ পাবে।
He said: "I intend to wed one of these my daughters to thee, on condition that thou serve me for eight years; but if thou complete ten years, it will be (grace) from thee. But I intend not to place thee under a difficulty: thou wilt find me, indeed, if Allah wills, one of the righteous." |
(আল কাসাস:
আয়াতঃ ২৭) |
| 11 |
যারা আমার পথে সাধনায় আত্মনিয়োগ করে, আমি অবশ্যই তাদেরকে আমার পথে পরিচালিত করব। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সৎকর্মপরায়ণদের সাথে আছেন।
And those who strive in Our (cause),- We will certainly guide them to our Paths: For verily Allah is with those who do right. |
(আল আনকাবুত:

হেদায়েত ও রহমত সৎকর্মপরায়ণদের জন্য।
A Guide and a Mercy to the Doers of Good,- |

| 13 |
যে ব্যক্তি সৎকর্মপরায়ণ হয়ে স্বীয় মুখমন্ডলকে আল্লাহ অভিমূখী করে, সে এক মজবুত হাতল ধারণ করে, সকল কর্মের পরিণাম আল্লাহর দিকে।
Whoever submits his whole self to Allah, and is a doer of good, has grasped indeed the most trustworthy hand-hold: and with Allah rests the End and Decision of (all) affairs. |
(লোকমান:
আয়াতঃ ২২) |
| 14 |
পক্ষান্তরে যদি তোমরা আল্লাহ, তাঁর রসূল ও পরকাল কামনা কর, তবে তোমাদের সৎকর্মপরায়ণদের জন্য আল্লাহ মহা পুরস্কার প্রস্তুত করে রেখেছেন।
But if ye seek Allah and His Messenger, and the Home of the Hereafter, verily Allah has prepared for the well-doers amongst you a great reward. |
(আল আহযাব:
আয়াতঃ ২৯) |
| 15 |
তিনি পরিণামে যারা মুমিন ও সৎকর্ম পরায়ণ, তাদেরকে প্রতিদান দেবেন। তাদের জন্য রয়েছে ক্ষমা ও সম্মান জনক রিযিক।
That He may reward those who believe and work deeds of righteousness: for such is Forgiveness and a Sustenance Most Generous." |
(সাবা:
আয়াতঃ ৪) |
| 16 |
অথবা আযাব প্রত্যক্ষ করার সময় না বলে, যদি কোনরূপে একবার ফিরে যেতে পারি, তবে আমি সৎকর্মপরায়ণ হয়ে যাব।
"Or (lest) it should say when it (actually) sees the penalty: 'If only I had another chance, I should certainly be among those who do good!' |
(আল-যুমার:
আয়াতঃ ৫৮) |
| 17 |
এর আগে মূসার কিতাব ছিল পথপ্রদর্শক ও রহমতস্বরূপ। আর এই কিতাব তার সমর্থক আরবী ভাষায়, যাতে যালেমদেরকে সতর্ক করে এবং সৎকর্মপরায়ণদেরকে সুসংবাদ দেয়।
And before this, was the Book of Moses as a guide and a mercy: And this Book confirms (it) in the Arabic tongue; to admonish the unjust, and as Glad Tidings to those who do right. |
(আল আহক্বাফ:

আমি মানুষকে তার পিতা-মাতার সাথে সদ্ব্যবহারের আদেশ দিয়েছি। তার জননী তাকে কষ্টসহকারে গর্ভে ধারণ করেছে এবং কষ্টসহকারে প্রসব করেছে। তাকে গর্ভে ধারণ করতে ও তার স্তন্য ছাড়তে লেগেছে ত্রিশ মাস। অবশেষে সে যখন শক্তি-সামর্থে?480; বয়সে ও চল্লিশ বছরে পৌছেছে, তখন বলতে লাগল, হে আমার পালনকর্তা, আমাকে এরূপ ভাগ্য দান কর, যাতে আমি তোমার নেয়ামতের শোকর করি, যা তুমি দান করেছ আমাকে ও আমার পিতা-মাতাকে এবং যাতে আমি তোমার পছন্দনীয় সৎকাজ করি। আমার সন্তানদেরকে সৎকর্মপরায়ণ কর, আমি তোমার প্রতি তওবা করলাম এবং আমি আজ্ঞাবহদের অন্যতম।
We have enjoined on man kindness to his parents: In pain did his mother bear him, and in pain did she give him birth. The carrying of the (child) to his weaning is (a period of) thirty months. At length, when he reaches the age of full strength and attains forty years, he says, "O my Lord! Grant me that I may be grateful for Thy favour which Thou has bestowed upon me, and upon both my parents, and that I may work righteousness such as Thou mayest approve; and be gracious to me in my issue. Truly have I turned to Thee and truly do I bow (to Thee) in Islam." |
(আল আহক্বাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৫) |

বলুনঃ তোমরা কি তোমাদের ধর্ম পরায়ণতা সম্পর্কে আল্লাহকে অবহিত করছ? অথচ আল্লাহ জানেন যা কিছু আছে ভূমন্ডলে এবং যা কিছু আছে নভোমন্ডলে। আল্লাহ সর্ববিষয়ে সম্যক জ্ঞাত।
Say: "What! Will ye instruct Allah about your religion? But Allah knows all that is in the heavens and on earth: He has full knowledge of all things. |
(আল হুজরাত:
আয়াতঃ ১৬) |
| 20 |
এমতাবস্থায় যে, তারা গ্রহণ করবে যা তাদের পালনকর্তা তাদেরকে দেবেন। নিশ্চয় ইতিপূর্বে তারা ছিল সৎকর্মপরায়ণ,
Taking joy in the things which their Lord gives them, because, before then, they lived a good life. |
(আয-যারিয়াত:
আয়াতঃ ১৬) |
| 21 |
একজন রসূল, যিনি তোমাদের কাছে আল্লাহর সুস্পষ্ট আয়াতসমূহ পাঠ করেন, যাতে বিশ্বাসী ও সৎকর্মপরায়ণদের অন্ধকার থেকে আলোতে আনয়ন করেন। যে আল্লাহর প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে ও সৎকর্ম সম্পাদন করে, তিনি তাকে দাখিল করবেন জান্নাতে, যার তলদেশে নদী প্রবাহিত, তথায় তারা চিরকাল থাকবে। আল্লাহ তাকে উত্তম রিযিক দেবেন।
An Messenger, who rehearses to you the Signs of Allah containing clear explanations, that he may lead forth those who believe and do righteous deeds from the depths of Darkness into Light. And those who believe in Allah and work righteousness, He will admit to Gardens beneath which Rivers flow, to dwell therein for ever: Allah has indeed granted for them a most excellent Provision. |

আয়াতঃ ১১) |
| 22 |
তোমাদের অন্তর অন্যায়ের দিকে ঝুঁকে পড়েছে বলে যদি তোমরা উভয়ে তওবা কর, তবে ভাল কথা। আর যদি নবীর বিরুদ্ধে একে অপরকে সাহায্য কর, তবে জেনে রেখ আল্লাহ জিবরাঈল এবং সৎকর্মপরায়ণ মুমিনগণ তাঁর সহায়। উপরন্তুত ফেরেশতাগণও তাঁর সাহায্যকারী।
If ye two turn in repentance to Him, your hearts are indeed so inclined; But if ye back up each other against him, truly Allah is his Protector, and Gabriel, and (every) righteous one among those who believe,- and furthermore, the angels - will back (him) up. |
(আত-তাহরীম:
আয়াতঃ ৪) |
| 23 |
আল্লাহ তা’আলা কাফেরদের জন্যে নূহ-পত্নী ও লূত-পত্নীর দৃষ্টান্ত বর্ণনা করেছেন। তারা ছিল আমার দুই ধর্মপরায়ণ বান্দার গৃহে। অতঃপর তারা তাদের সাথে বিশ্বাসঘাতকতা করল। ফলে নূহ ও লূত তাদেরকে আল্লাহ তা’আলার কবল থেকে রক্ষা করতে পারল না এবং তাদেরকে বলা হলঃ জাহান্নামীদের সাথে জাহান্নামে চলে যাও।
Allah sets forth, for an example to the Unbelievers, the wife of Noah and the wife of Lut: they were (respectively) under two of our righteous servants, but they were false to their (husbands), and they profited nothing before Allah on their account, but were told: "Enter ye the Fire along with (others) that enter!" |
(আত-তাহরীম:
আয়াতঃ ১০) |
| 24 |
আমাদের কেউ কেউ সৎকর্মপরায়ণ এবং কেউ কেউ এরূপ নয়। আমরা ছিলাম বিভিন্ন পথে বিভক্ত।
'There are among us some that are righteous, and some the contrary: we follow divergent paths. |
