“বিতাড়িত শয়তান হতে আল্লাহর নিকট আশ্রয় প্রার্থনা করছি। পরম করুণাময় ও অসীম দয়ালু আল্লাহর নামে আরম্ভ করছি।”

নং আয়াত সূরা
1 এখন নির্বোধেরা বলবে, কিসে মুসলমানদের ফিরিয়ে দিল তাদের ঐ কেবলা থেকে, যার উপর তারা ছিল? আপনি বলুনঃ পূর্ব ও পশ্চিম আল্লাহরই। তিনি যাকে ইচ্ছা সরল পথে চালান।
The fools among the people will say: "What hath turned them from the Qibla to which they were used?" Say: To Allah belong both east and West: He guideth whom He will to a Way that is straight.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ১৪২)
2 আর আমার বান্দারা যখন তোমার কাছে জিজ্ঞেস করে আমার ব্যাপারে বস্তুতঃ আমি রয়েছি সন্নিকটে। যারা প্রার্থনা করে, তাদের প্রার্থনা কবুল করে নেই, যখন আমার কাছে প্রার্থনা করে। কাজেই আমার হুকুম মান্য করা এবং আমার প্রতি নিঃসংশয়ে বিশ্বাস করা তাদের একান্ত কর্তব্য। যাতে তারা সৎপথে আসতে পারে।
When My servants ask thee concerning Me, I am indeed close (to them): I listen to the prayer of every suppliant when he calleth on Me: Let them also, with a will, Listen to My call, and believe in Me: That they may walk in the right way.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ১৮৬)
3 আর ব্যয় কর আল্লাহর পথে, তবে নিজের জীবনকে ধ্বংসের সম্মুখীন করো না। আর মানুষের প্রতি অনুগ্রহ কর। আল্লাহ অনুগ্রহকারীদেরকে ভালবাসেন।
And spend of your substance in the cause of Allah, and make not your own hands contribute to (your) destruction; but do good; for Allah loveth those who do good.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ১৯৫)
4 সম্মানিত মাস সম্পর্কে তোমার কাছে জিজ্ঞেস করে যে, তাতে যুদ্ধ করা কেমন? বলে দাও এতে যুদ্ধ করা ভীষণ বড় পাপ। আর আল্লাহর পথে প্রতিবন্দ্বকতা সৃষ্টি করা এবং কুফরী করা, মসজিদে-হারামের পথে বাধা দেয়া এবং সেখানকার অধিবাসীদেরকে বহিস্কার করা, আল্লাহর নিকট তার চেয়েও বড় পাপ। আর ধর্মের ব্যাপারে ফেতনা সৃষ্টি করা নরহত্যা অপেক্ষাও মহা পাপ। বস্তুতঃ তারা তো সর্বদাই তোমাদের সাথে যুদ্ধ করতে থাকবে, যাতে করে তোমাদিগকে দ্বীন থেকে ফিরিয়ে দিতে পারে যদি সম্ভব হয়। তোমাদের মধ্যে যারা নিজের দ্বীন থেকে ফিরে দাঁড়াবে এবং কাফের অবস্থায় মৃত্যুবরণ করবে, দুনিয়া ও আখেরাতে তাদের যাবতীয় আমল বিনষ্ট হয়ে যাবে। আর তারাই হলো দোযখবাসী। তাতে তারা চিরকাল বাস করবে।
They ask thee concerning fighting in the Prohibited Month. Say: "Fighting therein is a grave (offence); but graver is it in the sight of Allah to prevent access to the path of Allah, to deny Him, to prevent access to the Sacred Mosque, and drive out its members." Tumult and oppression are worse than slaughter. Nor will they cease fighting you until they turn you back from your faith if they can. And if any of you Turn back from their faith and die in unbelief, their works will bear no fruit in this life and in the Hereafter; they will be companions of the Fire and will abide therein.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ২১৭)
5 আর এতে কোন সন্দেহের অবকাশ নেই যে, যারা ঈমান এনেছে এবং যারা হিজরত করেছে আর আল্লাহর পথে লড়াই (জেহাদ) করেছে, তারা আল্লাহর রহমতের প্রত্যাশী। আর আল্লাহ হচ্ছেন ক্ষমাকারী করুনাময়।
Those who believed and those who suffered exile and fought (and strove and struggled) in the path of Allah,- they have the hope of the Mercy of Allah: And Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ২১৮)
6 আর নিজেদের শপথের জন্য আল্লাহর নামকে লক্ষ্যবস্তু বানিও না মানুষের সাথে কোন আচার আচরণ থেকে পরহেযগারী থেকে এবং মানুষের মাঝে মীমাংসা করে দেয়া থেকে বেঁচে থাকার উদ্দেশ্যে। আল্লাহ সবকিছুই শুনেন ও জানেন।
And make not Allah's (name) an excuse in your oaths against doing good, or acting rightly, or making peace between persons; for Allah is One Who heareth and knoweth all things.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ২২৪)
7 তোমাদের নিরর্থক শপথের জন্য আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে ধরবেন না, কিন্তু সেসব কসমের ব্যাপারে ধরবেন, তোমাদের মন যার প্রতিজ্ঞা করেছে। আর আল্লাহ হচ্ছেন ক্ষমাকারী ধৈর্য্যশীল।
Allah will not call you to account for thoughtlessness in your oaths, but for the intention in your hearts; and He is Oft-forgiving, Most Forbearing.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ২২৫)
8 আল্লাহর পথে লড়াই কর এবং জেনে রাখ, নিঃসন্দেহে আল্লাহ সবকিছু জানেন, সবকিছু শুনেন।
Then fight in the cause of Allah, and know that Allah Heareth and knoweth all things.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ২৪৪)
9 মূসার পরে তুমি কি বনী ইসরাঈলের একটি দলকে দেখনি, যখন তারা বলেছে নিজেদের নবীর কাছে যে, আমাদের জন্য একজন বাদশাহ নির্ধারিত করে দিন যাতে আমরা আল্লাহর পথে যুদ্ধ করতে পারি। নবী বললেন, তোমাদের প্রতিও কি এমন ধারণা করা যায় যে, লড়াইর হুকুম যদি হয়, তাহলে তখন তোমরা লড়বে না? তারা বলল, আমাদের কি হয়েছে যে, আমরা আল্লাহর পথে লড়াই করব না। অথচ আমরা বিতাড়িত হয়েছি নিজেদের ঘর-বাড়ী ও সন্তান-সন্ততি থেকে। অতঃপর যখন লড়াইয়ের নির্দেশ হলো, তখন সামান্য কয়েকজন ছাড়া তাদের সবাই ঘুরে দাঁড়ালো। আর আল্লাহ তা’আলা জালেমদের ভাল করেই জানেন।
Hast thou not Turned thy vision to the Chiefs of the Children of Israel after (the time of) Moses? they said to a prophet (That was) among them: "Appoint for us a king, that we May fight in the cause of Allah." He said: "Is it not possible, if ye were commanded to fight, that that ye will not fight?" They said: "How could we refuse to fight in the cause of Allah, seeing that we were turned out of our homes and our families?" but when they were commanded to fight, they turned back, except a small band among them. But Allah Has full knowledge of those who do wrong.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ২৪৬)
10 তাদেরকে সৎপথে আনার দায় তোমার নয়। বরং আল্লাহ যাকে ইচ্ছা সৎপথে পরিচালিত করেন। যে মাল তোমরা ব্যয় কর, তা নিজ উপাকারার্থেই কর। আল্লাহর সন্তুষ্টি ছাড়া অন্য কোন উদ্দেশ্যে ব্যয় করো না। তোমরা যে, অর্থ ব্যয় করবে, তার পুরস্কার পুরোপুরি পেয়ে যাবে এবং তোমাদের প্রতি অন্যায় করা হবে না।
It is not required of thee (O Messenger), to set them on the right path, but Allah sets on the right path whom He pleaseth. Whatever of good ye give benefits your own souls, and ye shall only do so seeking the "Face" of Allah. Whatever good ye give, shall be rendered back to you, and ye shall not Be dealt with unjustly.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ২৭২)
11 খয়রাত ঐ সকল গরীব লোকের জন্যে যারা আল্লাহর পথে আবদ্ধ হয়ে গেছে-জীবিকার সন্ধানে অন্যত্র ঘোরাফেরা করতে সক্ষম নয়। অজ্ঞ লোকেরা যাঞ্চা না করার কারণে তাদেরকে অভাবমুক্ত মনে করে। তোমরা তাদেরকে তাদের লক্ষণ দ্বারা চিনবে। তারা মানুষের কাছে কাকুতি-মিনতি করে ভিক্ষা চায় না। তোমরা যে অর্থ ব্যয় করবে, তা আল্লাহ তা’আলা অবশ্যই পরিজ্ঞাত।
(Charity is) for those in need, who, in Allah's cause are restricted (from travel), and cannot move about in the land, seeking (For trade or work): the ignorant man thinks, because of their modesty, that they are free from want. Thou shalt know them by their (Unfailing) mark: They beg not importunately from all the sundry. And whatever of good ye give, be assured Allah knoweth it well.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ২৭৩)
12 তারা ধৈর্য্যধারণকারী, সত্যবাদী, নির্দেশ সম্পাদনকারী, সৎপথে ব্যয়কারী এবং শেষরাতে ক্ষমা প্রার্থনাকারী।
Those who show patience, Firmness and self-control; who are true (in word and deed); who worship devoutly; who spend (in the way of Allah); and who pray for forgiveness in the early hours of the morning.		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১৭)
13 অতঃপর ঈসা (আঃ) যখন বণী ইসরায়ীলের কুফরী সম্পর্কে উপলব্ধি করতে পারলেন, তখন বললেন, কারা আছে আল্লাহর পথে আমাকে সাহায্য করবে? সঙ্গী-সাথীরা বললো, আমরা রয়েছি আল্লাহর পথে সাহায্যকারী। আমরা আল্লাহর প্রতি ঈমান এনেছি। আর তুমি সাক্ষী থাক যে, আমরা হুকুম কবুল করে নিয়েছি।
When Jesus found Unbelief on their part He said: "Who will be My helpers to (the work of) Allah?" Said the disciples: "We are Allah's helpers: We believe in Allah, and do thou bear witness that we are Muslims.		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ৫২)
14 বলুন, হে আহলে কিতাবগণ! কেন তোমরা আল্লাহর পথে ঈমানদারদিগকে বাধা দান কর-তোমরা তাদের দ্বীনের মধ্যে বক্রতা অনুপ্রবেশ করানোর পন্থা অনুসন্ধান কর, অথচ তোমরা এ পথের সত্যতা প্রত্যক্ষ করছ। বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহ তোমাদের কার্যকলাপ সম্পর্কে অনবগত নন।
Say: "O ye People of the Book! Why obstruct ye those who believe, from the path of Allah, Seeking to make it crooked, while ye were yourselves witnesses (to Allah's Covenant)? but Allah is not unmindful of all that ye do."		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ৯৯)
15 আর তোমরা কেমন করে কাফের হতে পার, অথচ তোমাদের সামনে পাঠ করা হয় আল্লাহর আয়াত সমূহ এবং তোমাদের মধ্যে রয়েছেন আল্লাহর রসূল। আর যারা আল্লাহর কথা দৃঢ়ভাবে ধরবে, তারা হেদায়েত প্রাপ্ত হবে সরল পথের।
And how would ye deny Faith while unto you are rehearsed the Signs of Allah, and among you Lives the Messenger? Whoever holds firmly to Allah will be shown a way that is straight.		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১০১)
16 আর বহু নবী ছিলেন, যাঁদের সঙ্গী-সাথীরা তাঁদের অনুবর্তী হয়ে জেহাদ করেছে; আল্লাহর পথে-তাদের কিছু কষ্ট হয়েছে বটে, কিন্তু আল্লাহর রাহে তারা হেরেও যায়নি, ক্লান্তও হয়নি এবং দমেও যায়নি। আর যারা সবর করে, আল্লাহ তাদেরকে ভালবাসেন।
How many of the prophets fought (in Allah's way), and with them (fought) Large bands of godly men? but they never lost heart if they met with disaster in Allah's way, nor did they weaken (in will) nor give in. And Allah Loves those who are firm and steadfast.		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১৪৬)
17 আর তোমরা যদি আল্লাহর পথে নিহত হও কিংবা মৃত্যুবরণ কর, তোমরা যা কিছু সংগ্রহ করে থাক আল্লাহ তা’আলার ক্ষমা ও করুণা সে সবকিছুর চেয়ে উত্তম।
And if ye are slain, or die, in the way of Allah, forgiveness and mercy from Allah are far better than all they could amass.		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১৫৭)
18 অতঃপর তাদের পালনকর্তা তাদের দোয়া (এই বলে) কবুল করে নিলেন যে, আমি তোমাদের কোন পরিশ্রমকারীর পরিশ্রমই বিনষ্ট করি না, তা সে পুরুষ হোক কিংবা স্ত্রীলোক। তোমরা পরস্পর এক। তারপর সে সমস্ত লোক যারা হিজরত করেছে, তাদেরকে নিজেদের দেশ থেকে বের করে দেওয়া হয়েছে এবং তাদের প্রতি উৎপীড়ন করা হয়েছে আমার পথে এবং যারা লড়াই করেছে ও মৃত্যুবরণ করেছে, অবশ্যই আমি তাদের উপর থেকে অকল্যাণকে অপসারিত করব। এবং তাদেরকে প্রবিষ্ট করব জান্নাতে যার তলদেশে নহর সমূহ প্রবাহিত। এই হলো বিনিময় আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে। আর আল্লাহর নিকট রয়েছে উত্তম বিনিময়।
And their Lord hath accepted of them, and answered them: "Never will I suffer to be lost the work of any of you, be he male or female: Ye are members, one of another: Those who have left their homes, or been driven out therefrom, or suffered harm in My Cause, or fought or been slain,- verily, I will blot out from them their iniquities, and admit them into Gardens with rivers flowing beneath;- A reward from the presence of Allah, and from His presence is the best of rewards."		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১৯৫)
19 তুমি কি তাদেরকে দেখনি, যারা কিতাবের কিছু অংশ প্রাপ্ত হয়েছে, যারা মান্য করে প্রতিমা ও শয়তানকে এবং কাফেরদেরকে বলে যে, এরা মুসলমানদের তুলনায় অধিকতর সরল সঠিক পথে রয়েছে।
Hast thou not turned Thy vision to those who were given a portion of the Book? they believe in sorcery and Evil, and say to the Unbelievers that they are better guided in the (right) way Than the believers!		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ৫১)
20 আর তাদেরকে সরল পথে পরিচালিত করব।
And We should have shown them the Straight Way.		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ৬৮)
21 তারা চায় যে, তারা যেমন কাফের, তোমরাও তেমনি কাফের হয়ে যাও, যাতে তোমরা এবং তারা সব সমান হয়ে যাও। অতএব, তাদের মধ্যে কাউকে বন্ধুরূপে গ্রহণ করো না, যে পর্যন্ত না তারা আল্লাহর পথে হিজরত করে চলে আসে। অতঃপর যদি তারা বিমুখ হয়, তবে তাদেরকে পাকড়াও কর এবং যেখানে পাও হত্যা কর। তাদের মধ্যে কাউকে বন্ধুরূপে গ্রহণ করো না এবং সাহায্যকারী বানিও না।
They but wish that ye should reject Faith, as they do, and thus be on the same footing (as they): But take not friends from their ranks until they flee in the way of Allah (From what is forbidden). But if they turn renegades, seize them and slay them wherever ye find them; and (in any case) take no friends or helpers from their ranks;-		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ৮৯)
22 হে ঈমানদারগণ! তোমরা যখন আল্লাহর পথে সফর কর, তখন যাচাই করে নিও এবং যে, তোমাদেরকে সালাম করে তাকে বলো না যে, তুমি মুসলমান নও। তোমরা পার্থিব জীবনের সম্পদ অন্বেষণ কর, বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহর কাছে অনেক সম্পদ রয়েছে। তোমরা ও তো এমনি ছিলে ইতিপূর্বে; অতঃপর আল্লাহ তোমাদের প্রতি অনুগ্রহ করেছেন। অতএব, এখন অনুসন্ধান করে নিও। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ তোমাদের কাজ কর্মের খবর রাখেন।
O ye who believe! When ye go abroad in the cause of Allah, investigate carefully, and say not to any one who offers you a salutation: "Thou art none of a believer!" Coveting the perishable goods of this life: with Allah are profits and spoils abundant. Even thus were ye yourselves before, till Allah conferred on you His favours: Therefore carefully investigate. For Allah is well aware of all that ye do.		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ৯৪)
23 গৃহে উপবিষ্ট মুসলমান-যাদের কোন সঙ্গত ওযর নেই এবং ঐ মুসলমান যারা জান ও মাল দ্বারা আল্লাহর পথে জেহাদ করে,-সমান নয়। যারা জান ও মাল দ্বারা জেহাদ করে, আল্লাহ তাদের পদমর্যাদা বাড়িয়ে দিয়েছেন গৃহে উপবিষ্টদের তুলনায় এবং প্রত্যেকের সাথেই আল্লাহ কল্যাণের ওয়াদা করেছেন। আল্লাহ মুজাহেদীনকে উপবিষ্টদের উপর মহান প্রতিদানে শ্রেষ্ঠ করেছেন।
Not equal are those believers who sit (at home) and receive no hurt, and those who strive and fight in the cause of Allah with their goods and their persons. Allah hath granted a grade higher to those who strive and fight with their goods and persons than to those who sit (at home). Unto all (in Faith) Hath Allah promised good: But those who strive and fight Hath He distinguished above those who sit (at home) by a special reward,-		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ৯৫)
24 যে কেউ আল্লাহর পথে দেশত্যাগ করে, সে এর বিনিময়ে অনেক স্থান ও সচ্ছলতা প্রাপ্ত হবে। যে কেউ নিজ গৃহ থেকে বের হয় আল্লাহ ও রসূলের প্রতি হিজরত করার উদ্দেশে, অতঃপর মৃত্যুমুখে পতিত হয়, তবে তার সওয়াব আল্লাহর কাছে অবধারিত হয়ে যায়। আল্লাহ ক্ষমাশীল, করুণাময়।
He who forsakes his home in the cause of Allah, finds in the earth Many a refuge, wide and spacious: Should he die as a refugee from home for Allah and His Messenger, His reward becomes due and sure with Allah: And Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১০০)
25 যে কেউ রসূলের বিরুদ্ধাচারণ করে, তার কাছে সরল পথ প্রকাশিত হওয়ার পর এবং সব মুসলমানের অনুসৃত পথের বিরুদ্ধে চলে, আমি তাকে ঐ দিকেই ফেরাব যে দিক সে অবলম্বন করেছে এবং তাকে জাহান্নামে নিক্ষেপ করব। আর তা নিকৃষ্টতর গন্তব্যস্থান।
If anyone contends with the Messenger even after guidance has been plainly conveyed to him, and follows a path other than that becoming to men of Faith, We shall leave him in the path he has chosen, and land him in Hell,- what an evil refuge!		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১১৫)
26 বস্তুতঃ ইহুদীদের জন্য আমি হারাম করে দিয়েছি বহু পূত-পবিত্র বস্তু যা তাদের জন্য হালাল ছিল-তাদের পাপের কারণে এবং আল্লাহর পথে অধিক পরিমাণে বাধা দানের দরুন।
For the iniquity of the Jews We made unlawful for them certain (foods) good and wholesome which had been lawful for them;- in that they hindered many from Allah's Way;-		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১৬০)
27 যারা কুফরী অবলম্বন করেছে, এবং আল্লাহর পথে বাধার সৃষ্টি করেছে, তারা বিভ্রান্তিতে সুদূরে পতিত হয়েছে।
Those who reject Faith and keep off (men) from the way of Allah, have verily strayed far, far away from the Path.		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১৬৭)
28 অতএব, যারা আল্লাহর প্রতি ঈমান এনেছে এবং তাতে দৃঢ়তা অবলম্বন করেছে তিনি তাদেরকে স্বীয় রহমত ও অনুগ্রহের আওতায় স্থান দেবেন এবং নিজের দিকে আসার মত সরল পথে তুলে দেবেন।
Then those who believe in Allah, and hold fast to Him,- soon will He admit them to mercy and grace from Himself, and guide them to Himself by a straight way.		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১৭৫)
29 এর দ্বারা আল্লাহ যারা তাঁর সন্তুষ্টি কামনা করে, তাদেরকে নিরাপত্তার পথ প্রদর্শন করেন এবং তাদেরকে স্বীয় নির্দেশ দ্বারা অন্ধকার থেকে বের করে আলোর দিকে আনয়ন করেন এবং সরল পথে পরিচালনা করেন।
Wherewith Allah guideth all who seek His good pleasure to ways of peace and safety, and leadeth them out of darkness, by His will, unto the light,- guideth them to a path that is straight.		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১৬)
30 হে মুমিনগণ! আল্লাহকে ভয় কর, তাঁর নৈকট্য অন্বেষন কর এবং তাঁর পথে জেহাদ কর যাতে তোমরা সফলকাম হও।
O ye who believe! Do your duty to Allah, seek the means of approach unto Him, and strive with might and main in his cause: that ye may prosper.		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৩৫)
31 হে মুমিনগণ, তোমাদের মধ্যে যে স্বীয় ধর্ম থেকে ফিরে যাবে, অচিরে আল্লাহ এমন সম্প্রদায় সৃষ্টি করবেন, যাদেরকে তিনি ভালবাসবেন এবং তারা তাঁকে ভালবাসবে। তারা মুসলমানদের প্রতি বিনয়-নম্র হবে এবং কাফেরদের প্রতি কঠোর হবে। তারা আল্লাহর পথে জেহাদ করবে এবং কোন তিরস্কারকারীর তিরস্কারে ভীত হবে না। এটি আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ-তিনি যাকে ইচ্ছা দান করেন। আল্লাহ প্রাচুর্য দানকারী, মহাজ্ঞানী।
O ye who believe! if any from among you turn back from his Faith, soon will Allah produce a people whom He will love as they will love Him,- lowly with the believers, mighty against the rejecters, fighting in the way of Allah, and never afraid of the reproaches of such as find fault. That is the grace of Allah, which He will bestow on whom He pleaseth. And Allah encompasseth all, and He knoweth all things.		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৫৪)
32 যদি তারা তওরাত, ইঞ্জিল এবং যা প্রতিপালকের পক্ষ থেকে তাদের প্রতি অবতীর্ণ হয়েছে, পুরোপুরি পালন করত, তবে তারা উপর থেকে এবং পায়ের নীচ থেকে ভক্ষণ করত। তাদের কিছুসংখ্যক লোক সৎপথের অনুগামী এবং অনেকেই মন্দ কাজ করে যাচ্ছে।
If only they had stood fast by the Law, the Gospel, and all the revelation that was sent to them from their Lord, they would have enjoyed happiness from every side. There is from among them a party on the right course: but many of them follow a course that is evil.		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৬৬)
33 বলে দিনঃ হে আহলে কিতাবগণ, তোমরা কোন পথেই নও, যে পর্যন্ত না তোমরা তওরাত, ইঞ্জিল এবং যে গ্রন্থ তোমাদের পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে তোমাদের প্রতি অবতীর্ণ হয়েছে তাও পুরোপুরি পালন না কর। আপনার পালনকর্তার কাছ থেকে আপনার প্রতি যা অবর্তীণ হয়েছে, তার কারণে তাদের অনেকের অবাধ্যতা ও কুফর বৃদ্ধি পাবে। অতএব, এ কাফের সম্প্রদায়ের জন্যে দুঃখ করবেন না।
Say: "O People of the Book! ye have no ground to stand upon unless ye stand fast by the Law, the Gospel, and all the revelation that has come to you from your Lord." It is the revelation that cometh to thee from thy Lord, that increaseth in most of them their obstinate rebellion and blasphemy. But sorrow thou not over (these) people without Faith.		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৬৮)
34 আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে পাকড়াও করেন না তোমাদের অনর্থক শপথের জন্যে; কিন্তু পাকড়াও করেন ঐ শপথের জন্যে যা তোমরা মজবুত করে বাধ। অতএব, এর কাফফরা এই যে, দশজন দরিদ্রকে খাদ্য প্রদান করবে; মধ্যম শ্রেনীর খাদ্য যা তোমরা স্বীয় পরিবারকে দিয়ে থাক। অথবা, তাদেরকে বস্তু প্রদান করবে অথবা, একজন ক্রীতদাস কিংবা দাসী মুক্ত করে দিবে। যে ব্যক্তি সামর্থ্য রাখে না, সে তিন দিন রোযা রাখবে। এটা কাফফরা তোমাদের শপথের, যখন শপথ করবে। তোমরা স্বীয় শপথসমূহ রক্ষা কর এমনিভাবে আল্লাহ তোমাদের জন্য স্বীয় নির্দেশ বর্ণনা করেন, যাতে তোমরা কৃতজ্ঞতা স্বীকার কর।
Allah will not call you to account for what is futile in your oaths, but He will call you to account for your deliberate oaths: for expiation, feed ten indigent persons, on a scale of the average for the food of your families; or clothe them; or give a slave his freedom. If that is beyond your means, fast for three days. That is the expiation for the oaths ye have sworn. But keep to your oaths. Thus doth Allah make clear to you His signs, that ye may be grateful.		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৮৯)
35 হে মুমিনগণ, তোমরা নিজেদের চিন্তা কর। তোমরা যখন সৎপথে রয়েছ, তখন কেউ পথভ্রান্ত হলে তাতে তোমাদের কোন ক্ষতি নাই। তোমাদের সবাইকে আল্লাহর কাছে ফিরে যেতে হবে। তখন তিনি তোমাদেরকে বলে দেবেন, যা কিছু তোমরা করতে।
O ye who believe! Guard your own souls: If ye follow (right) guidance, no hurt can come to you from those who stray. the goal of you all is to Allah: it is He that will show you the truth of all that ye do.		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১০৫)
36 আর যদি তাদের বিমুখতা আপনার পক্ষে কষ্টকর হয়, তবে আপনি যদি ভূতলে কোন সুড়ঙ্গ অথবা আকাশে কোন সিড়ি অনুসন্ধান করতে সমর্থ হন, অতঃপর তাদের কাছে কোন একটি মোজেযা আনতে পারেন, তবে নিয়ে আসুন। আল্লাহ ইচ্ছা করলে সবাইকে সরল পথে সমবেত করতে পারতেন। অতএব, আপনি নির্বোধদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হবেন না।
If their spurning is hard on thy mind, yet if thou wert able to seek a tunnel in the ground or a ladder to the skies and bring them a sign,- (what good?). If it were Allah's will, He could gather them together unto true guidance: so be not thou amongst those who are swayed by ignorance (and impatience)!		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ৩৫)
37 যারা আমার নিদর্শনসমূহকে মিথ্যা বলে, তারা অন্ধকারের মধ্যে মূক ও বধির। আল্লাহ যাকে ইচ্ছা পথভ্রষ্ট করেন এবং যাকে ইচ্ছা সরল পথে পরিচালিত করেন।
Those who reject our signs are deaf and dumb,- in the midst of darkness profound: whom Allah willeth, He leaveth to wander: whom He willeth, He placeth on the way that is straight.		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ৩৯)
38 আপনি বলে দিনঃ আমরা কি আল্লাহ ব্যতীত এমন বস্তুকে আহবান করব, যে আমাদের উপকার করতে পারে না এবং ক্ষতিও করতে পারে না এবং আমরা কি পশ্চাৎপদে ফিরে যাব, এরপর যে, আল্লাহ আমাদেরকে পথ প্রদর্শন করেছেন? ঐ ব্যক্তির মত, যাকে শয়তানরা বনভুমিতে বিপথগামী করে দিয়েছে-সে উদভ্রান্ত হয়ে ঘোরাফেরা করছে। তার সহচররা তাকে পথের দিকে ডেকে বলছেঃ আস, আমাদের কাছে। আপনি বলে দিনঃ নিশ্চয় আল্লাহর পথই সুপথ। আমরা আদিষ্ট হয়েছি যাতে স্বীয় পালনকর্তা আজ্ঞাবহ হয়ে যাই।
Say: "Shall we indeed call on others besides Allah,- things that can do us neither good nor harm,- and turn on our heels after receiving guidance from Allah? - like one whom the evil ones have made into a fool, wandering bewildered through the earth, his friends calling, come to us', (vainly) guiding him to the path." Say: "Allah's guidance is the (only) guidance, and we have been directed to submit ourselves to the Lord of the worlds;-		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ৭১)
39 এটি আল্লাহর হেদায়েত। স্বীয় বান্দাদের মধ্যে যাকে ইচ্ছা, এপথে চালান। যদি তারা শেরেকী করত, তবে তাদের কাজ কর্ম তাদের জন্যে ব্যর্থ হয়ে যেত।
This is the guidance of Allah: He giveth that guidance to whom He pleaseth, of His worshippers. If they were to join other gods with Him, all that they did would be vain for them.		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ৮৮)
40 আপনার প্রতিপালক তাদের সম্পর্কে খুব জ্ঞাত রয়েছেন, যারা তাঁর পথ থেকে বিপথগামী হয় এবং তিনি তাদেরকেও খুব ভাল করে জানেন, যারা তাঁর পথে অনুগমন করে।
Thy Lord knoweth best who strayeth from His way: He knoweth best who they are that receive His guidance.		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ১১৭)
41 তোমাদেরকে এ নির্দেশ দিয়েছেন, যেন তোমরা উপদেশ গ্রহণ কর। নিশ্চিত এটি আমার সরল পথ। অতএব, এ পথে চল এবং অন্যান্য পথে চলো না। তা হলে সেসব পথ তোমাদেরকে তাঁর পথ থেকে বিচ্ছিন্ন করে দিবে। তোমাদেরকে এ নির্দেশ দিয়েছেন, যাতে তোমরা সংযত হও।
Verily, this is My way, leading straight: follow it: follow not (other) paths: they will scatter you about from His (great) path: thus doth He command you. that ye may be righteous.		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ১৫৩)
42 তারা শুধু এ বিষয়ের দিকে চেয়ে আছে যে, তাদের কাছে ফেরেশতা আগমন করবে কিংবা আপনার পালনকর্তা আগমন করবেন অথবা আপনার পালনকর্তার কোন নির্দেশ আসবে। যেদিন আপনার পালনকর্তার কোন নিদর্শন আসবে, সেদিন এমন কোন ব্যক্তির বিশ্বাস স্থাপন তার জন্যে ফলপ্রসূ হবে না, যে পূর্ব থেকে বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেনি কিংবা স্বীয় বিশ্বাস অনুযায়ী কোনরূপ সৎকর্ম করেনি। আপনি বলে দিনঃ তোমরা পথের দিকে চেয়ে থাক, আমরাও পথে দিকে তাকিয়ে রইলাম।
Are they waiting to see if the angels come to them, or thy Lord (Himself), or certain of the signs of thy Lord! the day that certain of the signs of thy Lord do come, no good will it do to a soul to believe in them then if it believed not before nor earned righteousness through its faith. Say: "Wait ye: we too are waiting."		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ১৫৮)
43 সে বললঃ আপনি আমাকে যেমন উদভ্রান্ত করেছেন, আমিও অবশ্য তাদের জন্যে আপনার সরল পথে বসে থাকবো।
He said: "Because thou hast thrown me out of the way, lo! I will lie in wait for them on thy straight way:		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৬)
44 আল্লাহ বললেনঃ বের হয়ে যা এখান থেকে লাঞ্ছিত ও অপমানিত হয়ে। তাদের যে কেউ তোর পথেচলবে, নিশ্চয় আমি তোদের সবার দ্বারা জাহান্নাম পূর্ণ করে দিব।
(Allah) said: "Get out from this, disgraced and expelled. If any of them follow thee,- Hell will I fill with you all.		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৮)
45 একদলকে পথ প্রদর্শন করেছেন এবং একদলের জন্যে পথভ্রষ্টতা অবধারিত হয়ে গেছে। তারা আল্লাহকে ছেড়ে শয়তানদেরকে বন্ধু হিসাবে গ্রহণ করেছে এবং ধারণা করে যে, তারা সৎপথে রয়েছে।
Some He hath guided: Others have (by their choice) deserved the loss of their way; in that they took the evil ones, in preference to Allah, for their friends and protectors, and think that they receive guidance.		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৩০)
46 যারা আল্লাহর পথে বাধা দিত এবং তাতে বক্রতা অন্বেষণ করত। তারা পরকালের বিষয়েও অবিশ্বাসী ছিল।
"Those who would hinder (men) from the path of Allah and would seek in it something crooked: they were those who denied the Hereafter."		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৪৫)
47 তোমরা পথে ঘাটে এ কারণে বসে থেকো না যে, আল্লাহ বিশ্বাসীদেরকে হুমকি দিবে, আল্লাহর পথে বাধা সৃষ্টি করবে এবং তাতে বক্রতা অনুসন্ধান করবে। স্মরণ কর, যখন তোমরা সংখ্যায় অল্প ছিলে অতঃপর আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে অধিক করেছেন এবং লক্ষ্য কর কিরূপ অশুভ পরিণতি হয়েছে অনর্থকারীদের।
"And squat not on every road, breathing threats, hindering from the path of Allah those who believe in Him, and seeking in it something crooked; But remember how ye were little, and He gave you increase. And hold in your mind's eye what was the end of those who did mischief.		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৮৬)
48 আর আমি মূসাকে প্রতিশ্রুতি দিয়েছি ত্রিশ রাত্রির এবং সেগুলোকে পূর্ন করেছি আরো দশ দ্বারা। বস্তুতঃ এভাবে চল্লিশ রাতের মেয়াদ পূর্ণ হয়ে গেছে। আর মূসা তাঁর ভাই হারুনকে বললেন, আমার সম্প্রদায়ে তুমি আমার প্রতিনিধি হিসাবে থাক। তাদের সংশোধন করতে থাক এবং হাঙ্গামা সৃষ্টিকারীদের পথে চলো না।
We appointed for Moses thirty nights, and completed (the period) with ten (more): thus was completed the term (of communion) with his Lord, forty nights. And Moses had charged his brother Aaron (before he went up): "Act for me amongst my people: Do right, and follow not the way of those who do mischief."		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৪২)
49 আর মূসা বেছে নিলেন নিজের সম্প্রদায় থেকে সত্তর জন লোক আমার প্রতিশ্রুত সময়ের জন্য। তারপর যখন তাদেরকে ভূমিকম্প পাকড়াও করল, তখন বললেন, হে আমার পরওয়ারদেগার, তুমি যদি ইচ্ছা করতে, তবে তাদেরকে আগেই ধ্বংস করে দিতে এবং আমাকেও। আমাদেরকে কি সে কর্মের কারণে ধ্বংস করছ, যা আমার সম্প্রদায়ের নির্বোধ লোকেরা করেছে? এসবই তোমার পরীক্ষা; তুমি যাকে ইচ্ছা এতে পথ ভ্রষ্ট করবে এবং যাকে ইচ্ছা সরলপথে রাখবে। তুমি যে আমাদের রক্ষক-সুতরাং আমাদেরকে ক্ষমা করে দাও এবং আমাদের উপর করুনা কর। তাছাড়া তুমিই তো সর্বাধিক ক্ষমাকারী।
And Moses chose seventy of his people for Our place of meeting: when they were seized with violent quaking, he prayed: "O my Lord! if it had been Thy will Thou couldst have destroyed, long before, both them and me: wouldst Thou destroy us for the deeds of the foolish ones among us? this is no more than Thy trial: by it Thou causest whom Thou wilt to stray, and Thou leadest whom Thou wilt into the right path. Thou art our Protector: so forgive us and give us Thy mercy; for Thou art the best of those who forgive.		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৫৫)
50 আর আল্লাহর জন্য রয়েছে সব উত্তম নাম। কাজেই সে নাম ধরেই তাঁকে ডাক। আর তাদেরকে বর্জন কর, যারা তাঁর নামের ব্যাপারে বাঁকা পথে চলে। তারা নিজেদের কৃতকর্মের ফল শীঘ্রই পাবে।
The most beautiful names belong to Allah: so call on him by them; but shun such men as use profanity in his names: for what they do, they will soon be requited.		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৮০)
51 আর তোমরা যদি তাদেরকে আহবান কর সুপথের দিকে, তবে তারা তোমাদের আহবান অনুযায়ী চলবে না। তাদেরকে আহবান জানানো কিংবা নীরব থাকা উভয়টিই তোমাদের জন্য সমান।
If ye call them to guidance, they will not obey: For you it is the same whether ye call them or ye hold your peace!		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৯৩)
52 আর তুমি যদি তাদেরকে সুপথে আহবান কর, তবে তারা তা কিছুই শুনবে না। আর তুমি তো তাদের দেখছই, তোমার দিকে তাকিয়ে আছে, অথচ তারা কিছুই দেখতে পাচ্ছে না।
If thou callest them to guidance, they hear not. Thou wilt see them looking at thee, but they see not.		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৯৮)
53 নিঃসন্দেহে যেসব লোক কাফের, তারা ব্যয় করে নিজেদের ধন-সম্পদ, যাতে করে বাধাদান করতে পারে আল্লাহর পথে। বস্তুতঃ এখন তারা আরো ব্যয় করবে। তারপর তাই তাদের জন্য আক্ষেপের কারণ হয়ে এবং শেষ পর্যন্ত তারা হেরে যাবে। আর যারা কাফের তাদেরকে দোযখের দিকে তাড়িয়ে নিয়ে যাওয়া হবে।
The Unbelievers spend their wealth to hinder (man) from the path of Allah, and so will they continue to spend; but in the end they will have (only) regrets and sighs; at length they will be overcome: and the Unbelievers will be gathered together to Hell;-		 (আল-আনফাল:
আয়াতঃ ৩৬)
54 আর তাদের মত হয়ে যেয়ো না, যারা বেরিয়েছে নিজেদের অবস্থান থেকে গর্বিতভাবে এবং লোকদেরকে দেখাবার উদ্দেশে। আর আল্লাহর পথে তারা বাধা দান করত। বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহর আয়ত্বে রয়েছে সে সমস্ত বিষয় যা তারা করে।
And be not like those who started from their homes insolently and to be seen of men, and to hinder (men) from the path of Allah: For Allah compasseth round about all that they do.		 (আল-আনফাল:
আয়াতঃ ৪৭)
55 ইহুদীরা বলে ওযাইর আল্লাহর পুত্র এবং নাসারারা বলে ‘মসীহ আল্লাহর পুত্র’। এ হচ্ছে তাদের মুখের কথা। এরা পূর্ববর্তী কাফেরদের মত কথা বলে। আল্লাহ এদের ধ্বংস করুন, এরা কোন উল্টা পথে চলে যাচ্ছে।
The Jews call 'Uzair a son of Allah, and the Christians call Christ the son of Allah. That is a saying from their mouth; (in this) they but imitate what the unbelievers of old used to say. Allah's curse be on them: how they are deluded away from the Truth!		 (আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৩০)
56 হে ঈমানদারগণ! পন্ডিত ও সংসারবিরাগীদের অনেকে লোকদের মালামাল অন্যায়ভাবে ভোগ করে চলছে এবং আল্লাহর পথ থেকে লোকদের নিবৃত রাখছে। আর যারা স্বর্ণ ও রূপা জমা করে রাখে এবং তা ব্যয় করে না আল্লাহর পথে, তাদের কঠোর আযাবের সুসংবাদ শুনিয়ে দিন।
O ye who believe! there are indeed many among the priests and anchorites, who in Falsehood devour the substance of men and hinder (them) from the way of Allah. And there are those who bury gold and silver and spend it not in the way of Allah: announce unto them a most grievous penalty-		 (আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৩৪)
57 হে ঈমানদারগণ, তোমাদের কি হল, যখন আল্লাহর পথে বের হবার জন্যে তোমাদের বলা হয়, তখন মাটি জড়িয়ে ধর, তোমরা কি আখেরাতের পরিবর্তে দুনিয়ার জীবনে পরিতুষ্ট হয়ে গেলে? অথচ আখেরাতের তুলনায় দুনিয়ার জীবনের উপকরণ অতি অল্প।
O ye who believe! what is the matter with you, that, when ye are asked to go forth in the cause of Allah, ye cling heavily to the earth? Do ye prefer the life of this world to the Hereafter? But little is the comfort of this life, as compared with the Hereafter.		 (আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৩৮)
58 তোমরা বের হয়ে পড় স্বল্প বা প্রচুর সরঞ্জামের সাথে এবং জেহাদ কর আল্লাহর পথে নিজেদের মাল ও জান দিয়ে, এটি তোমাদের জন্যে অতি উত্তম, যদি তোমরা বুঝতে পার।
Go ye forth, (whether equipped) lightly or heavily, and strive and struggle, with your goods and your persons, in the cause of Allah. That is best for you, if ye (but) knew.		 (আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৪১)
59 যাকাত হল কেবল ফকির, মিসকীন, যাকাত আদায় কারী ও যাদের চিত্ত আকর্ষণ প্রয়োজন তাদে হক এবং তা দাস-মুক্তির জন্যে-ঋণ গ্রস্তদের জন্য, আল্লাহর পথে জেহাদকারীদের জন্যে এবং মুসাফিরদের জন্যে, এই হল আল্লাহর নির্ধারিত বিধান। আল্লাহ সর্বজ্ঞ, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
Alms are for the poor and the needy, and those employed to administer the (funds); for those whose hearts have been (recently) reconciled (to Truth); for those in bondage and in debt; in the cause of Allah; and for the wayfarer: (thus is it) ordained by Allah, and Allah is full of knowledge and wisdom.		 (আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৬০)
60 মদীনাবাসী ও পাশ্ববর্তী পল্লীবাসীদের উচিত নয় রসূলুল্লাহর সঙ্গ ত্যাগ করে পেছনে থেকে যাওয়া এবং রসূলের প্রাণ থেকে নিজেদের প্রাণকে অধিক প্রিয় মনে করা। এটি এজন্য যে, আল্লাহর পথে যে তৃষ্ণা, ক্লান্তি ও ক্ষুধা তাদের স্পর্শ করে এবং তাদের এমন পদক্ষেপ যা কাফেরদের মনে ক্রোধের কারণ হয় আর শত্রুদের পক্ষ থেকে তারা যা কিছু প্রাপ্ত হয়-তার প্রত্যেকটির পরিবর্তে তাদের জন্য লিখিত হয়ে নেক আমল। নিঃসন্দেহে আল্লাহ সৎকর্মশীল লোকদের হক নষ্ট করেন না।
It was not fitting for the people of Medina and the Bedouin Arabs of the neighbourhood, to refuse to follow Allah's Messenger, nor to prefer their own lives to his: because nothing could they suffer or do, but was reckoned to their credit as a deed of righteousness,- whether they suffered thirst, or fatigue, or hunger, in the cause of Allah, or trod paths to raise the ire of the Unbelievers, or received any injury whatever from an enemy: for Allah suffereth not the reward to be lost of those who do good;-		 (আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১২০)
61 আর যেদিন তাদেরকে সমবেত করা হবে, যেন তারা অবস্থান করেনি, তবে দিনের একদন্ড একজন অপরজনকে চিনবে। নিঃসন্দেহে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হয়েছে যারা মিথ্যা প্রতিপন্ন করেছে আল্লাহর সাথে সাক্ষাতকে এবং সরলপথে আসেনি।
One day He will gather them together: (It will be) as if they had tarried but an hour of a day: they will recognise each other: assuredly those will be lost who denied the meeting with Allah and refused to receive true guidance.		 (ইউনুস:
আয়াতঃ ৪৫)
62 বললেন, তোমাদের দোয়া মঞ্জুর হয়েছে। অতএব তোমরা দুজন অটল থাকো এবং তাদের পথে চলো না যারা অজ্ঞ।
Allah said: "Accepted is your prayer (O Moses and Aaron)! So stand ye straight, and follow not the path of those who know not."		 (ইউনুস:
আয়াতঃ ৮৯)
63 বলে দাও, হে মানবকুল, সত্য তোমাদের কাছে পৌঁছে গেছে তোমাদের পরওয়ারদেগারের তরফ থেকে। এমন যে কেউ পথে আসে সেপথ প্রাপ্ত হয় স্বীয় মঙ্গলের জন্য। আর যে বিভ্রান্ত ঘুরতে থাকে, সে স্বীয় অমঙ্গলের জন্য বিভ্রান্ত অবস্থায় ঘুরতে থাকবে। অনন্তর আমি তোমাদের উপর অধিকারী নই।
Say: "O ye men! Now Truth hath reached you from your Lord! those who receive guidance, do so for the good of their own souls; those who stray, do so to their own loss: and I am not (set) over you to arrange your affairs."		 (ইউনুস:
আয়াতঃ ১০৮)
64 আচ্ছা বল তো, যে ব্যক্তি তার প্রভুর সুস্পষ্ট পথে রয়েছে, আর সাথে সাথে আল্লাহর তরফ থেকে একটি সাক্ষীও বর্তমান রয়েছে এবং তার পূর্ববর্তী মূসা (আঃ) এর কিতাবও সাক্ষী যা ছিল পথনির্দেশক ও রহমত স্বরূপ, (তিনি কি অন্যান্যের সমান) অতএব তাঁরা কোরআনের প্রতি ঈমান আনেন। আর ঐসব দলগুলি যে কেউ তা অস্বীকার করে, দোযখই হবে তার ঠিকানা। অতএব, আপনি তাতে কোন সন্দেহে থাকবেন না। নিঃসন্দেহে তা আপনার পালনকর্তার পক্ষ হতে ধ্রুব সত্য; তথাপি অনেকেই তা বিশ্বাস করে না।
Can they be (like) those who accept a Clear (Sign) from their Lord, and whom a witness from Himself doth teach, as did the Book of Moses before it,- a guide and a mercy? They believe therein; but those of the Sects that reject it,- the Fire will be their promised meeting-place. Be not then in doubt thereon: for it is the truth from thy Lord: yet many among men do not believe!		 (হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ১৭)
65 যারা আল্লাহর পথে বাধা দেয়, আর তাতে বক্রতা খুজে বেড়ায়, এরাই আখরাতকে অস্বীকার করে।
"Those who would hinder (men) from the path of Allah and would seek in it something crooked: these were they who denied the Hereafter!"		 (হুদ:

66 আমি আল্লাহর উপর নিশ্চিত ভরসা করেছি যিনি আমার এবং তোমাদের পরওয়ারদেগার। পৃথিবীর বুকে বিচরণকারী এমন কোন প্রাণী নাই যা তাঁর র্পূণ আয়ত্তাধীন নয়। আমার পালকর্তার সরল পথে সন্দেহ নেই।
"I put my trust in Allah, My Lord and your Lord! There is not a moving creature, but He hath grasp of its fore-lock. Verily, it is my Lord that is on a straight Path.		 (হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ৫৬)
67 তারা বলল-হে শোয়ায়েব (আঃ) আপনার নামায কি আপনাকে ইহাই শিক্ষা দেয় যে, আমরা ঐসব উপাস্যদেরকে পরিত্যাগ করব আমাদের বাপ-দাদারা যাদের উপাসনা করত? অথবা আমাদের ধন-সম্পদে ইচ্ছামত যা কিছু করে থাকি, তা ছেড়ে দেব? আপনি তো একজন খাস মহৎ ব্যক্তি ও সৎপথের পথিক।
They said: "O Shu'aib! Does thy (religion of) prayer command thee that we leave off the worship which our fathers practised, or that we leave off doing what we like with our property? truly, thou art the one that forbeareth with faults and is right-minded!"		 (হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ৮৭)
68 অতএব, তুমি এবং তোমার সাথে যারা তওবা করেছে সবাই সোজা পথে চলে যাও-যেমন তোমায় হুকুম দেয়া হয়েছে এবং সীমা লঙ্ঘন করবে না, তোমরা যা কিছু করছ, নিশ্চয় তিনি তার প্রতি দৃষ্টি রাখেন।
Therefore stand firm (in the straight Path) as thou art commanded,- thou and those who with thee turn (unto Allah); and transgress not (from the Path): for He seeth well all that ye do.		 (হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ১১২)
69 যদি কোন কোরআন এমন হত, যার সাহায্যে পাহাড় চলমান হয় অথবা যমীন খন্ডিত হয় অথবা মৃতরা কথা বলে, তবে কি হত? বরং সব কাজ তো আল্লাহর হাতে। ঈমানদাররা কি এ ব্যাপারে নিশ্চিত নয় যে, যদি আল্লাহ চাইতেন, তবে সব মানুষকে সৎপথে পরিচালিত করতেন? কাফেররা তাদের কৃতকর্মের কারণে সব সময় আঘাত পেতে থাকবে অথবা তাদের গৃহের নিকটবর্তী স্থানে আঘাত নেমে আসবে, যে, পর্যন্ত আল্লাহর ওয়াদা না আসে। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ ওয়াদার খেলাফ করেন না।
If there were a Qur'an with which mountains were moved, or the earth were cloven asunder, or the dead were made to speak, (this would be the one!) But, truly, the command is with Allah in all things! Do not the Believers know, that, had Allah (so) willed, He could have guided all mankind (to the right)? But the Unbelievers,- never will disaster cease to seize them for their (ill) deeds, or to settle close to their homes, until the promise of Allah come to pass, for, verily, Allah will not fail in His promise.		 (রা'দ:
আয়াতঃ ৩১)
70 আলিফ-লাম-রা; এটি একটি গ্রন্থ, যা আমি আপনার প্রতি নাযিল করেছি-যাতে আপনি মানুষকে অন্ধকার থেকে আলোর দিকে বের করে আনেন-পরাক্রান্ত, প্রশংসার যোগ্য পালনকর্তার নির্দেশে তাঁরই পথের দিকে।
A. L. R. A Book which We have revealed unto thee, in order that thou mightest lead mankind out of the depths of darkness into light - by the leave of their Lord - to the Way of (Him) the Exalted in power, worthy of all praise!-		 (ইব্রাহীম:
আয়াতঃ ১)
71 যারা পরকালের চাইতে পার্থিব জীবনকে পছন্দ করে; আল্লাহর পথে বাধা দান করে এবং তাতে বক্রতা অন্বেষণ করে, তারা পথ ভুলে দূরে পড়ে আছে।
Those who love the life of this world more than the Hereafter, who hinder (men) from the Path of Allah and seek therein something crooked: they are astray by a long distance.		 (ইব্রাহীম:
আয়াতঃ ৩)
72 তোমাদের কাছে কি তোমাদের পূর্ববর্তী কওমে নূহ, আদ ও সামুদের এবং তাদের পরবর্তীদের খবর পৌছেনি? তাদের বিষয়ে আল্লাহ ছাড়া আর কেউ জানে না। তাদের কাছে তাদের পয়গম্বর প্রমানাদি নিয়ে আগমন করেন। অতঃপর তারা নিজেদের হাত নিজেদের মুখে রেখে দিয়েছে এবং বলেছে, যা কিছু সহ তোমাদেরকে প্রেরণ করা হয়েছে, আমরা তা মানি না এবং যে পথের দিকে তোমরা আমাদেরকে দাওয়াত দাও, সে সম্পর্কে আমাদের মনে সন্দেহ আছে, যা আমাদেরকে উৎকন্ঠায় ফেলে রেখেছে।
Has not the story reached you, (O people!), of those who (went) before you? - of the people of Noah, and 'Ad, and Thamud? - And of those who (came) after them? None knows them but Allah. To them came messengers with Clear (Signs); but they put their hands up to their mouths, and said: "We do deny (the mission) on which ye have been sent, and we are really in suspicious (disquieting) doubt as to that to which ye invite us."		 (ইব্রাহীম:
আয়াতঃ ৯)
73 যারা আমার বান্দা, তাদের উপর তোমার কোন ক্ষমতা নেই; কিন্তু পথভ্রান্তদের মধ্য থেকে যারা তোমার পথে চলে।
"For over My servants no authority shalt thou have, except such as put themselves in the wrong and follow thee."		 (হিজর:
আয়াতঃ ৪২)
74 জনপদটি সোজা পথে অবস্থিত রয়েছে।
And the (cities were) right on the high-road.		 (হিজর:
আয়াতঃ ৭৬)
75 সরল পথ আল্লাহ পর্যন্ত পৌছে এবং পথগুলোর মধ্যে কিছু বক্র পথও রয়েছে। তিনি ইচ্ছা করলে তোমাদের সবাইকে সৎপথে পরিচালিত করতে পারতেন।
And unto Allah leads straight the Way, but there are ways that turn aside: if Allah had willed, He could have guided all of you.		 (নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ৯)
76 এবং তিনি পথ নির্ণয়ক বহু চিহ্ন সৃষ্টি করেছেন, এবং তারকা দ্বারা ও মানুষ পথের নির্দেশ পায়।
And marks and sign-posts; and by the stars (men) guide themselves.		 (নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ১৬)
77 আপনি তাদেরকে সুপথে আনতে আগ্রহী হলেও আল্লাহ যাকে বিপথগামী করেন তিনি তাকে পথ দেখান না এবং তাদের কোন সাহায্যকারী ও নেই।
If thou art anxious for their guidance, yet Allah guideth not such as He leaves to stray, and there is none to help them.		 (নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ৩৭)
78 আল্লাহ আরেকটি দৃষ্টান্ত বর্ণনা করেছেন, দু’ব্যক্তির, একজন বোবা কোন কাজ করতে পারে না। সে মালিকের উপর বোঝা। যেদিকে তাকে পাঠায়, কোন সঠিক কাজ করে আসে না। সে কি সমান হবে ঐ ব্যক্তির, যে ন্যায় বিচারের আদেশ করে এবং সরল পথে কায়েম রয়েছে।
Allah sets forth (another) Parable of two men: one of them dumb, with no power of any sort; a wearisome burden is he to his master; whichever way be directs him, he brings no good: is such a man equal with one who commands Justice, and is on a Straight Way?		 (নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ৭৬)
79 যারা কাফের হয়েছে এবং আল্লাহর পথে বাধা সৃষ্টি করেছে, আমি তাদেরকে আযাবের পর আযাব বাড়িয়ে দেব। কারণ, তারা অশান্তি সৃষ্টি করত।
Those who reject Allah and hinder (men) from the Path of Allah - for them will We add Penalty to Penalty; for that they used to spread mischief.		 (নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ৮৮)
80 তোমরা স্বীয় কসমসমূহকে পারস্পরিক কলহ দ্বন্দ্বের বাহানা করো না। তা হলে দৃঢ়ভাবে প্রতিষ্ঠিত হওয়ার পর পা ফসকে যাবে এবং তোমরা শাস্তির স্বাদ আস্বাদন করবে এ কারণে যে, তোমরা আমার পথে বাধা দান করেছ এবং তোমাদের কঠোর শাস্তি হবে।
And take not your oaths, to practise deception between yourselves, with the result that someone's foot may slip after it was firmly planted, and ye may have to taste the evil (consequences) of having hindered (men) from the Path of Allah, and a Mighty Wrath descend on you.		 (নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ৯৪)
81 তিনি তাঁর অনুগ্রহের প্রতি কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশকারী ছিলেন। আল্লাহ তাঁকে মনোনীত করেছিলেন এবং সরল পথে পরিচালিত করেছিলেন।
He showed his gratitude for the favours of Allah, who chose him, and guided him to a Straight Way.		 (নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ১২১)
82 আপন পালনকর্তার পথের প্রতি আহবান করুন জ্ঞানের কথা বুঝিয়ে ও উপদেশ শুনিয়ে উত্তমরূপে এবং তাদের সাথে বিতর্ক করুন পছন্দ যুক্ত পন্থায়। নিশ্চয় আপনার পালনকর্তাই ঐ ব্যক্তি সম্পর্কে বিশেষ ভাবে জ্ঞাত রয়েছেন, যে তাঁর পথ থেকে বিচ্যুত হয়ে পড়েছে এবং তিনিই ভাল জানেন তাদেরকে, যারা সঠিক পথে আছে।
Invite (all) to the Way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious: for thy Lord knoweth best, who have strayed from His Path, and who receive guidance.		 (নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ১২৫)
83 যে কেউ সৎপথে চলে, তারা নিজের মঙ্গলের জন্যেই সৎ পথে চলে। আর যে পথভ্রষ্ট হয়, তারা নিজের অমঙ্গলের জন্যেই পথ ভ্রষ্ট হয়। কেউ অপরের বোঝা বহন করবে না। কোন রাসূল না পাঠানো পর্যন্ত আমি কাউকেই শাস্তি দান করি না।
Who receiveth guidance, receiveth it for his own benefit: who goeth astray doth so to his own loss: No bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another: nor would We visit with Our Wrath until We had sent an messenger (to give warning).		 (বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ১৫)
84 বলুনঃ প্রত্যেকেই নিজ রীতি অনুযায়ী কাজ করে। অতঃপর আপনার পালনকর্তা বিশেষ রূপে জানেন, কে সর্বাপেক্ষা নির্ভূল পথে আছে।
Say: "Everyone acts according to his own disposition: But your Lord knows best who it is that is best guided on the Way."		 (বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ৮৪)
85 আপনার কাছে তাদের ইতিবৃত্তান্ত সঠিকভাবে বর্ণনা করছি। তারা ছিল কয়েকজন যুবক। তারা তাদের পালনকর্তার প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছিল এবং আমি তাদের সৎপথে চলার শক্তি বাড়িয়ে দিয়েছিলাম।
We relate to thee their story in truth: they were youths who believed in their Lord, and We advanced them in guidance:		 (কাহফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৩)
86 তুমি সূর্যকে দেখবে, যখন উদিত হয়, তাদের গুহা থেকে পাশ কেটে ডান দিকে চলে যায় এবং যখন অস্ত যায়, তাদের থেকে পাশ কেটে বামদিকে চলে যায়, অথচ তারা গুহার প্রশস্ত চত্বরে অবস্থিত। এটা আল্লাহর নিদর্শনাবলীর অন্যতম। আল্লাহ যাকে সৎপথে চালান, সেই সৎপথ প্রাপ্ত এবং তিনি যাকে পথভ্রষ্ট করেন, আপনি কখনও তার জন্যে পথপ্রদর্শনকারী ও সাহায্যকারী পাবেন না।
Thou wouldst have seen the sun, when it rose, declining to the right from their Cave, and when it set, turning away from them to the left, while they lay in the open space in the midst of the Cave. Such are among the Signs of Allah: He whom Allah, guides is rightly guided; but he whom Allah leaves to stray,- for him wilt thou find no protector to lead him to the Right Way.		 (কাহফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৭)
87 তার চাইতে অধিক জালেম কে, যাকে তার পালনকর্তার কালাম দ্বারা বোঝানো হয়, অতঃপর সে তা থেকে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয় এবং তার পূর্ববর্তী কৃতকর্মসমূহ ভুলে যায়? আমি তাদের অন্তরের উপর পর্দা রেখে দিয়েছি, যেন তা না বোঝে এবং তাদের কানে রয়েছে বধিরতার বোঝা। যদি আপনি তাদেরকে সৎপথের প্রতি দাওয়াত দেন, তবে কখনই তারা সৎপথে আসবে না।
And who doth more wrong than one who is reminded of the Signs of his Lord, but turns away from them, forgetting the (deeds) which his hands have sent forth? Verily We have set veils over their hearts lest they should understand this, and over their ears, deafness, if thou callest them to guidance, even then will they never accept guidance.		 (কাহফ:
আয়াতঃ ৫৭)
88 মূসা তাঁকে বললেনঃ আমি কি এ শর্তে আপনার অনুসরণ করতে পারি যে, সত্যপথের যে জ্ঞান আপনাকে শেখানো হয়েছে, তা থেকে আমাকে কিছু শিক্ষা দেবেন?
Moses said to him: "May I follow thee, on the footing that thou teach me something of the (Higher) Truth which thou hast been taught?"		 (কাহফ:
আয়াতঃ ৬৬)
89 যারা সৎপথে চলে আল্লাহ তাদের পথপ্রাপ্তি বৃদ্ধি করেন এবং স্থায়ী সৎকর্মসমূহ তোমার পালনকর্তার কাছে সওয়াবের দিক দিয়ে শ্রেষ্ঠ এবং প্রতিদান হিসেবেও শ্রেষ্ট।
"And Allah doth advance in guidance those who seek guidance: and the things that endure, Good Deeds, are best in the sight of thy Lord, as rewards, and best in respect of (their) eventual return."		 (মারইয়াম:
আয়াতঃ ৭৬)
90 তিনি যখন আগুন দেখলেন, তখন পরিবারবর্গকে বললেনঃ তোমরা এখানে অবস্থান কর আমি আগুন দেখেছি। সম্ভবতঃ আমি তা থেকে তোমাদের কাছে কিছু আগুন জালিয়ে আনতে পারব অথবা আগুনে পৌছে পথের সন্ধান পাব।
Behold, he saw a fire: So he said to his family, "Tarry ye; I perceive a fire; perhaps I can bring you some burning brand therefrom, or find some guidance at the fire."		 (ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ১০)
91 আর যে তওবা করে, ঈমান আনে এবং সৎকর্ম করে অতঃপর সৎপথে অটল থাকে, আমি তার প্রতি অবশ্যই ক্ষমাশীল।
"But, without doubt, I am (also) He that forgives again and again, to those who repent, believe, and do right, who,- in fine, are ready to receive true guidance."		 (ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ৮২)
92 তারা কি বলে তা আমি ভালোভাবে জানি। তাদের মধ্যে যে, অপেক্ষাকৃত উত্তম পথের অনুসারী সে বলবেঃ তোমরা মাত্র একদিন অবস্থান করেছিলে।
We know best what they will say, when their leader most eminent in conduct will say: "Ye tarried not longer than a day!"		 (ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ১০৪)
93 এরপর তার পালনকর্তা তাকে মনোনীত করলেন, তার প্রতি মনোযোগী হলেন এবং তাকে সুপথে আনয়ন করলেন।
But his Lord chose him (for His Grace): He turned to him, and gave him Guidance.		 (ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ১২২)
94 বলুন, প্রত্যেকেই পথপানে চেয়ে আছে, সুতরাং তোমরাও পথপানে চেয়ে থাক। অদূর ভবিষ্যতে তোমরা জানতে পারবে কে সরল পথের পথিক এবং কে সৎপথ প্রাপ্ত হয়েছে।
Say: "Each one (of us) is waiting: wait ye, therefore, and soon shall ye know who it is that is on the straight and even way, and who it is that has received Guidance."		 (ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ১৩৫)
95 তিনিই সৃষ্টি করেছেন রাত্রি ও দিন এবং সূর্য ও চন্দ্র। সবাই আপন আপন কক্ষপথে বিচরণ করে।
It is He Who created the Night and the Day, and the sun and the moon: all (the celestial bodies) swim along, each in its rounded course.		 (আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৩৩)
96 যারা কুফর করে ও আল্লাহর পথে বাধা সৃষ্টি করে এবং সেই মসজিদে হারাম থেকে বাধা দেয়, যাকে আমি প্রস্তুত করেছি স্থানীয় ও বহিরাগত সকল মানুষের জন্যে সমভাবে এবং যে মসজিদে হারামে অন্যায়ভাবে কোন ধর্মদ্রোহী কাজ করার ইচছা করে, আমি তাদেরকে যন্ত্রানাদায়ক শাস্তি আস্বাদন করাব।
As to those who have rejected (Allah), and would keep back (men) from the Way of Allah, and from the Sacred Mosque, which We have made (open) to (all) men - equal is the dweller there and the visitor from the country - and any whose purpose therein is profanity or wrong-doing - them will We cause to taste of a most Grievous Penalty.		 (হাজ্জ্ব:
আয়াতঃ ২৫)
97 যারা আল্লাহর পথে গৃহ ত্যাগ করেছে, এরপর নিহত হয়েছে অথবা মরে গেছে; আল্লাহ তাদেরকে অবশ্যই উৎকৃষ্ট জীবিকা দান করবেন এবং আল্লাহ সর্বোৎকৃষ্ট রিযিক দাতা।
Those who leave their homes in the cause of Allah, and are then slain or die,- On them will Allah bestow verily a goodly Provision: Truly Allah is He Who bestows the best provision.		 (হাজ্জ্ব:
আয়াতঃ ৫৮)
98 আমি প্রত্যেক উম্মতের জন্যে এবাদতের একটি নিয়ম-কানুন নির্ধারণ করে দিয়েছি, যা তারা পালন করে। অতএব তারা যেন এ ব্যাপারে আপনার সাথে বিতর্ক না করে। আপনি তাদেরকে পালনকর্তার দিকে আহবান করুন। নিশ্চয় আপনি সরল পথেই আছেন।
To every People have We appointed rites and ceremonies which they must follow: let them not then dispute with thee on the matter, but do thou invite (them) to thy Lord: for thou art assuredly on the Right Way.		 (হাজ্জ্ব:
আয়াতঃ ৬৭)
99 আপনি তো তাদেরকে সোজা পথে দাওয়াত দিচ্ছেন;
But verily thou callest them to the Straight Way;		 (আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ৭৩)
100 তোমাদের মধ্যে যারা উচ্চমর্যাদা ও আর্থিক প্রাচুর্যের অধিকারী, তারা যেন কসম না খায় যে, তারা আত্নীয়-স্বজনকে, অভাবগ্রস্তকে এবং আল্লাহর পথে হিজরতকারীদেরকে কিছুই দেবে না। তাদের ক্ষমা করা উচিত এবং দোষক্রটি উপেক্ষা করা উচিত। তোমরা কি কামনা কর না যে, আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে ক্ষমা করেন? আল্লাহ ক্ষমাশীল, পরম করুণাময়।
Let not those among you who are endued with grace and amplitude of means resolve by oath against helping their kinsmen, those in want, and those who have left their homes in Allah's cause: let them forgive and overlook, do you not wish that Allah should forgive you? For Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.		 (আন-নূর:
আয়াতঃ ২২)
101 আমি তো সুস্পষ্ট আয়াত সমূহ অবর্তীর্ণ করেছি। আল্লাহ যাকে ইচ্ছা সরল পথে পরিচালনা করেন।
We have indeed sent down signs that make things manifest: and Allah guides whom He wills to a way that is straight.		 (আন-নূর:
আয়াতঃ ৪৬)
102 অতএব, আপনি আল্লাহর উপর ভরসা করুন। নিশ্চয় আপনি সত্য ও স্পষ্ট পথে আছেন।
So put thy trust in Allah: for thou art on (the path of) manifest Truth.		 (নমল:
আয়াতঃ ৭৯)
103 আপনি অন্ধদেরকে তাদের পথভ্রষ্টতা থেকে ফিরিয়ে সৎপথে আনতে পারবেন না। আপনি কেবল তাদেরকে শোনাতে পারবেন, যারা আমার আয়াতসমূহে বিশ্বাস করে। অতএব, তারাই আজ্ঞাবহ।
Nor canst thou be a guide to the blind, (to prevent them) from straying: only those wilt thou get to listen who believe in Our Signs, and they will bow in Islam.		 (নমল:
আয়াতঃ ৮১)
104 এবং যেন আমি কোরআন পাঠ করে শোনাই। পর যে ব্যক্তি সৎপথে চলে, সে নিজের কল্যাণার্থেই সৎপথে চলে এবং কেউ পথভ্রষ্ট হলে আপনি বলে দিন, আমি তো কেবল একজন ভীতি প্রদর্শনকারী।
And to rehearse the Qur'an: and if any accept guidance, they do it for the good of their own souls, and if any stray, say: "I am only a Warner".		 (নমল:
আয়াতঃ ৯২)
105 আপনি যাকে পছন্দ করেন, তাকে সৎপথে আনতে পারবেন না, তবে আল্লাহ তা’আলাই যাকে ইচ্ছা সৎপথে আনয়ন করেন। কে সৎপথে আসবে, সে সম্পর্কে তিনিই ভাল জানেন।
It is true thou wilt not be able to guide every one, whom thou lovest; but Allah guides those whom He will and He knows best those who receive guidance.		 (আল কাসাস:
আয়াতঃ ৫৬)
106 তারা বলে, যদি আমরা আপনার সাথে সুপথে আসি, তবে আমরা আমাদের দেশ থেকে উৎখাত হব। আমি কি তাদের জন্যে একটি নিরাপদ হরম প্রতিষ্ঠিত করিনি? এখানে সর্বপ্রকার ফল-মূল আমদানী হয় আমার দেয়া রিযিকস্বরূপ। কিন্তু তাদের অধিকাংশই জানে না।
They say: "If we were to follow the guidance with thee, we should be snatched away from our land." Have We not established for them a secure sanctuary, to which are brought as tribute fruits of all kinds,- a provision from Ourselves? but most of them understand not.		 (আল কাসাস:
আয়াতঃ ৫৭)
107 কতক লোক বলে, আমরা আল্লাহর উপর বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছি; কিন্তু আল্লাহর পথে যখন তারা নির্যাতিত হয়, তখন তারা মানুষের নির্যাতনকে আল্লাহর আযাবের মত মনে করে। যখন আপনার পালনকর্তার কাছ থেকে কোন সাহায্য আসে তখন তারা বলতে থাকে, আমরা তো তোমাদের সাথেই ছিলাম। বিশ্ববাসীর অন্তরে যা আছে, আল্লাহ কি তা সম্যক অবগত নন?
Then there are among men such as say, "We believe in Allah"; but when they suffer affliction in (the cause of) Allah, they treat men's oppression as if it were the Wrath of Allah! And if help comes (to thee) from thy Lord, they are sure to say, "We have (always) been with you!" Does not Allah know best all that is in the hearts of all creation?		 (আল আনকাবুত:
আয়াতঃ ১০)
108 যারা আমার পথে সাধনায় আত্মনিয়োগ করে, আমি অবশ্যই তাদেরকে আমার পথে পরিচালিত করব। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সৎকর্মপরায়ণদের সাথে আছেন।
And those who strive in Our (cause),- We will certainly guide them to our Paths: For verily Allah is with those who do right.		 (আল আনকাবুত:
আয়াতঃ ৬৯)
109 যখন তাদেরকে মেঘমালা সদৃশ তরংগ আচ্ছাদিত করে নেয়, তখন তারা খাঁটি মনে আল্লাহকে ডাকতে থাকে। অতঃপর তিনি যখন তাদেরকে স্থলভাগের দিকে উদ্ধার করে আনেন, তখন তাদের কেউ কেউ সরল পথে চলে। কেবল মিথ্যাচারী, অকৃতজ্ঞ ব্যক্তিই আমার নিদর্শনাবলী অস্বীকার করে।
When a wave covers them like the canopy (of clouds), they call to Allah, offering Him sincere devotion. But when He has delivered them safely to land, there are among them those that halt between (right and wrong). But none reject Our Signs except only a perfidious ungrateful (wretch)!		 (লোকমান:
আয়াতঃ ৩২)
110 বলুন, নভোমন্ডল ও ভূ-মন্ডল থেকে কে তোমাদের কে রিযিক দেয়। বলুন, আল্লাহ। আমরা অথবা তোমরা সৎপথে অথবা স্পষ্ট বিভ্রান্তিতে আছি ও আছ?
Say: "Who gives you sustenance, from the heavens and the earth?" Say: "It is Allah; and certain it is that either we or ye are on right guidance or in manifest error!"		 (সাবা:
আয়াতঃ ২৪)
111 অতঃপর আমি কিতাবের অধিকারী করেছি তাদেরকে যাদেরকে আমি আমার বান্দাদের মধ্য থেকে মনোনীত করেছি। তাদের কেউ কেউ নিজের প্রতি অত্যাচারী, কেউ মধ্যপন্থা অবলম্বনকারী এবং তাদের মধ্যে কেউ কেউ আল্লাহর নির্দেশক্রমে কল্যাণের পথে এগিয়ে গেছে। এটাই মহা অনুগ্রহ।
Then We have given the Book for inheritance to such of Our Servants as We have chosen: but there are among them some who wrong their own souls; some who follow a middle course; and some who are, by Allah's leave, foremost in good deeds; that is the highest Grace.		 (ফাতির:
আয়াতঃ ৩২)
112 তারা জোর শপথ করে বলত, তাদের কাছে কোন সতর্ককারী আগমন করলে তারা অন্য যে কোন সম্প্রদায় অপেক্ষা অধিকতর সৎপথে চলবে। অতঃপর যখন তাদের কাছে সতর্ককারী আগমন করল, তখন তাদের ঘৃণাই কেবল বেড়ে গেল।
They swore their strongest oaths by Allah that if a warner came to them, they would follow his guidance better than any (other) of the Peoples: But when a warner came to them, it has only increased their flight (from righteousness),-		 (ফাতির:

114 সূর্য নাগাল পেতে পারে না চন্দ্রের এবং রাত্রি অগ্রে চলে না দিনের প্রত্যেকেই আপন আপন কক্ষপথে সন্তরণ করে।
It is not permitted to the Sun to catch up the Moon, nor can the Night outstrip the Day: Each (just) swims along in (its own) orbit (according to Law).		 (ইয়াসীন:
আয়াতঃ ৪০)
115 আমি ইচ্ছা করলে তাদের দৃষ্টি শক্তি বিলুপ্ত করে দিতে পারতাম, তখন তারা পথের দিকে দৌড়াতে চাইলে কেমন করে দেখতে পেত!
If it had been our Will, We could surely have blotted out their eyes; then should they have run about groping for the Path, but how could they have seen?		 (ইয়াসীন:
আয়াতঃ ৬৬)
116 আল্লাহ ব্যতীত। অতঃপর তাদেরকে পরিচালিত কর জাহান্নামের পথে,
"Besides Allah, and lead them to the Way to the (Fierce) Fire!		 (আস-সাফফাত:
আয়াতঃ ২৩)
117 জেনে রাখুন, নিষ্ঠাপূর্ণ এবাদত আল্লাহরই নিমিত্ত। যারা আল্লাহ ব্যতীত অপরকে উপাস্যরূপে গ্রহণ করে রেখেছে এবং বলে যে, আমরা তাদের এবাদত এ জন্যেই করি, যেন তারা আমাদেরকে আল্লাহর নিকটবর্তী করে দেয়। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ তাদের মধ্যে তাদের পারস্পরিক বিরোধপূর্ণ বিষয়ের ফয়সালা করে দেবেন। আল্লাহ মিথ্যাবাদী কাফেরকে সৎপথে পরিচালিত করেন না।
Is it not to Allah that sincere devotion is due? But those who take for protectors other than Allah (say): "We only serve them in order that they may bring us nearer to Allah." Truly Allah will judge between them in that wherein they differ. But Allah guides not such as are false and ungrateful.		 (আল-যুমার:
আয়াতঃ ৩)
118 আমি আপনার প্রতি সত্য ধর্মসহ কিতাব নাযিল করেছি মানুষের কল্যাণকল্পে। অতঃপর যে সৎপথে আসে, সে নিজের কল্যাণের জন্যেই আসে, আর যে পথভ্রষ্ট হয়, সে নিজেরই অনিষ্টের জন্যে পথভ্রষ্ট হয়। আপনি তাদের জন্যে দায়ী নন।
Verily We have revealed the Book to thee in Truth, for (instructing) mankind. He, then, that receives guidance benefits his own soul: but he that strays injures his own soul. Nor art thou set over them to dispose of their affairs.		 (আল-যুমার:
আয়াতঃ ৪১)
119 যারা আরশ বহন করে এবং যারা তার চারপাশে আছে, তারা তাদের পালনকর্তার সপ্রশংস পবিত্রতা বর্ণনা করে, তার প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে এবং মুমিনদের জন্যে ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা করে বলে, হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা, আপনার রহমত ও জ্ঞান সবকিছুতে পরিব্যাপ্ত। অতএব, যারা তওবা করে এবং আপনার পথে চলে, তাদেরকে ক্ষমা করুন এবং জাহান্নামের আযাব থেকে রক্ষা করুন।
Those who sustain the Throne (of Allah) and those around it Sing Glory and Praise to their Lord; believe in Him; and implore Forgiveness for those who believe: "Our Lord! Thy Reach is over all things, in Mercy and Knowledge. Forgive, then, those who turn in Repentance, and follow Thy Path; and preserve them from the Penalty of the Blazing Fire!		 (আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ৭)
120 আকাশের পথে, অতঃপর উঁকি মেরে দেখব মূসার আল্লাহকে। বস্তুতঃ আমি তো তাকে মিথ্যাবাদীই মনে করি। এভাবেই ফেরাউনের কাছে সুশোভিত করা হয়েছিল তার মন্দ কর্মকে এবং সোজা পথ থেকে তাকে বিরত রাখা হয়েছিল। ফেরাউনের চক্রান্ত ব্যর্থ হওয়ারই ছিল।
"The ways and means of (reaching) the heavens, and that I may mount up to the god of Moses: But as far as I am concerned, I think (Moses) is a liar!" Thus was made alluring, in Pharaoh's eyes, the evil of his deeds, and he was hindered from the Path; and the plot of Pharaoh led to nothing but perdition (for him).		 (আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ৩৭)
121 আর যারা সামূদ, আমি তাদেরকে প্রদর্শন করেছিলাম, অতঃপর তারা সৎপথের পরিবর্তে অন্ধ থাকাই পছন্দ করল। অতঃপর তাদের কৃতকর্মের কারণে তাদেরকে অবমাননাকর আযাবের বিপদ এসে ধৃত করল।
As to the Thamud, We gave them Guidance, but they preferred blindness (of heart) to Guidance: so the stunning Punishment of humiliation seized them, because of what they had earned.		 (হা-মীম সেজদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১৭)
122 বরং তারা বলে, আমরা আমাদের পূর্বপুরুষদেরকে পেয়েছি এক পথের পথিক এবং আমরা তাদেরই পদাংক অনুসরণ করে পথপ্রাপ্ত।
Nay! they say: "We found our fathers following a certain religion, and we do guide ourselves by their footsteps."		 (যুখরুফ:
আয়াতঃ ২২)
123 এমনিভাবে আপনার পূর্বে আমি যখন কোন জনপদে কোন সতর্ককারী প্রেরণ করেছি, তখনই তাদের বিত্তশালীরা বলেছে, আমরা আমাদের পূর্বপুরুষদেরকে পেয়েছি এক পথের পথিক এবং আমরা তাদেরই পদাংক অনুসরণ করে চলছি।
Just in the same way, whenever We sent a Warner before thee to any people, the wealthy ones among them said: "We found our fathers following a certain religion, and we will certainly follow in their footsteps."		 (যুখরুফ:
আয়াতঃ ২৩)
124 শয়তানরাই মানুষকে সৎপথে বাধা দান করে, আর মানুষ মনে করে যে, তারা সৎপথে রয়েছে।
Such (evil ones) really hinder them from the Path, but they think that they are being guided aright!		 (যুখরুফ:
আয়াতঃ ৩৭)
125 অতএব, আপনার প্রতি যে ওহী নাযিল করা হয়, তা দৃঢ়ভাবে অবলম্বন করুন। নিঃসন্দেহে আপনি সরল পথে রয়েছেন।
So hold thou fast to the Revelation sent down to thee; verily thou art on a Straight Way.		 (যুখরুফ:
আয়াতঃ ৪৩)
126 তারা বলল, হে আমাদের সম্প্রদায়, আমরা এমন এক কিতাব শুনেছি, যা মূসার পর অবর্তীণ হয়েছে। এ কিতাব পূর্ববর্তী সব কিতাবের প্রত্যায়ন করে, সত্যধর্ম ও সরলপথের দিকে পরিচালিত করে।
They said, "O our people! We have heard a Book revealed after Moses, confirming what came before it: it guides (men) to the Truth and to a Straight Path.		 (আল আহক্বাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৩০)
127 যারা কুফরী করে এবং আল্লাহর পথে বাধা সৃষ্টি করে, আল্লাহ তাদের সকল কর্ম ব্যর্থ করে দেন।
Those who reject Allah and hinder (men) from the Path of Allah,- their deeds will Allah render astray (from their mark).		 (মুহাম্মদ:
আয়াতঃ ১)
128 অতঃপর যখন তোমরা কাফেরদের সাথে যুদ্ধে অবতীর্ণ হও, তখন তাদের গর্দার মার, অবশেষে যখন তাদেরকে পূর্ণরূপে পরাভূত কর তখন তাদেরকে শক্ত করে বেধে ফেল। অতঃপর হয় তাদের প্রতি অনুগ্রহ কর, না হয় তাদের নিকট হতে মুক্তিপণ লও। তোমরা যুদ্ধ চালিয়ে যাবে যে পর্যন্ত না শত্রুপক্ষ অস্ত্র সমর্পণ করবে! একথা শুনলে। আল্লাহ ইচ্ছা করলে তাদের কাছ থেকে প্রতিশোধ নিতে পারতেন। কিন্তু তিনি তোমাদের কতককে কতকের দ্বারা পরীক্ষা করতে চান। যারা আল্লাহর পথে শহীদ হয়, আল্লাহ কখনই তাদের কর্ম বিনষ্ট করবেন না।
Therefore, when ye meet the Unbelievers (in fight), smite at their necks; At length, when ye have thoroughly subdued them, bind a bond firmly (on them): thereafter (is the time for) either generosity or ransom: Until the war lays down its burdens. Thus (are ye commanded): but if it had been Allah's Will, He could certainly have exacted retribution from them (Himself); but (He lets you fight) in order to test you, some with others. But those who are slain in the Way of Allah,- He will never let their deeds be lost.		 (মুহাম্মদ:
আয়াতঃ ৪)
129 শুন, তোমরাই তো তারা, যাদেরকে আল্লাহর পথে ব্যয় করার আহবান জানানো হচ্ছে, অতঃপর তোমাদের কেউ কেউ কৃপণতা করছে। যারা কৃপণতা করছে, তারা নিজেদের প্রতিই কৃপণতা করছে। আল্লাহ অভাবমুক্ত এবং তোমরা অভাবগ্রস্থ। যদি তোমরা মুখ ফিরিয়ে নাও, তবে তিনি তোমাদের পরিবর্তে অন্য জাতিকে প্রতিষ্ঠিত করবেন, এরপর তারা তোমাদের মত হবে না।
Behold, ye are those invited to spend (of your substance) in the Way of Allah: But among you are some that are niggardly. But any who are niggardly are so at the expense of their own souls. But Allah is free of all wants, and it is ye that are needy. If ye turn back (from the Path), He will substitute in your stead another people; then they would not be like you!		 (মুহাম্মদ:
আয়াতঃ ৩৮)
130 যাতে আল্লাহ আপনার অতীত ও ভবিষ্যত ত্রুটিসমূহ মার্জনা করে দেন এবং আপনার প্রতি তাঁর নেয়ামত পূর্ণ করেন ও আপনাকে সরল পথে পরিচালিত করেন।
That Allah may forgive thee thy faults of the past and those to follow; fulfil His favour to thee; and guide thee on the Straight Way;		 (আল ফাতহ:
আয়াতঃ ২)
131 আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে বিপুল পরিমাণ যুদ্ধলব্ধ সম্পদের ওয়াদা দিয়েছেন, যা তোমরা লাভ করবে। তিনি তা তোমাদের জন্যে ত্বরান্বিত করবেন। তিনি তোমাদের থেকে শত্রুদের স্তব্দ করে দিয়েছেন-যাতে এটা মুমিনদের জন্যে এক নিদর্শন হয় এবং তোমাদেরকে সরল পথে পরিচালিত করেন।
Allah has promised you many gains that ye shall acquire, and He has given you these beforehand; and He has restrained the hands of men from you; that it may be a Sign for the Believers, and that He may guide you to a Straight Path;		 (আল ফাতহ:
আয়াতঃ ২০)
132 তারাই মুমিন, যারা আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূলের প্রতি ঈমান আনার পর সন্দেহ পোষণ করে না এবং আল্লাহর পথে প্রাণ ও ধন-সম্পদ দ্বারা জেহাদ করে। তারাই সত্যনিষ্ঠ।
Only those are Believers who have believed in Allah and His Messenger, and have never since doubted, but have striven with their belongings and their persons in the Cause of Allah: Such are the sincere ones.		 (আল হুজরাত:
আয়াতঃ ১৫)
133 তারা মুসলমান হয়ে আপনাকে ধন্য করেছে মনে করে। বলুন, তোমরা মুসলমান হয়ে আমাকে ধন্য করেছ মনে করো না। বরং আল্লাহ ঈমানের পথে পরিচালিত করে তোমাদেরকে ধন্য করেছেন, যদি তোমরা সত্যনিষ্ঠ হয়ে থাক।
They impress on thee as a favour that they have embraced Islam. Say, "Count not your Islam as a favour upon me: Nay, Allah has conferred a favour upon you that He has guided you to the faith, if ye be true and sincere.		 (আল হুজরাত:
আয়াতঃ ১৭)
134 তোমাদেরকে আল্লাহর পথে ব্যয় করতে কিসে বাধা দেয়, যখন আল্লাহই নভোমন্ডল ও ভূমন্ডলের উত্তরাধিকারী? তোমাদের মধ্যে যে মক্কা বিজয়ের পূর্বে ব্যয় করেছে ও জেহাদ করেছে, সে সমান নয়। এরূপ লোকদের মর্যদা বড় তাদের অপেক্ষা, যার পরে ব্যয় করেছে ও জেহাদ করেছে। তবে আল্লাহ উভয়কে কল্যাণের ওয়াদা দিয়েছেন। তোমরা যা কর, আল্লাহ সে সম্পর্কে সম্যক জ্ঞাত।
And what cause have ye why ye should not spend in the cause of Allah?- For to Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth. Not equal among you are those who spent (freely) and fought, before the Victory, (with those who did so later). Those are higher in rank than those who spent (freely) and fought afterwards. But to all has Allah promised a goodly (reward). And Allah is well acquainted with all that ye do.		 (আল হাদীদ:
আয়াতঃ ১০)
135 যেদিন আল্লাহ তাদের সকলকে পুনরুত্থিত করবেন। অতঃপর তারা আল্লাহর সামনে শপথ করবে, যেমন তোমাদের সামনে শপথ করে। তারা মনে করবে যে, তারা কিছু সৎপথে আছে। সাবধান, তারাই তো আসল মিথ্যাবাদী।
One day will Allah raise them all up (for Judgment): then will they swear to Him as they swear to you: And they think that they have something (to stand upon). No, indeed! they are but liars!		 (আল মুজাদালাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১৮)
136 মুমিনগণ, তোমরা আমার ও তোমাদের শত্রুদেরকে বন্ধরূপে গ্রহণ করো না। তোমরা তো তাদের প্রতি বন্ধুত্বের বার্তা পাঠাও, অথচ তারা যে সত্য তোমাদের কাছে আগমন করেছে, তা অস্বীকার করছে। তারা রসূলকে ও তোমাদেরকে বহিস্কার করে এই অপরাধে যে, তোমরা তোমাদের পালনকর্তার প্রতি বিশ্বাস রাখ। যদি তোমরা আমার সন্তুষ্টিলাভের জন্যে এবং আমার পথে জেহাদ করার জন্যে বের হয়ে থাক, তবে কেন তাদের প্রতি গোপনে বন্ধুত্বের পয়গাম প্রেরণ করছ? তোমরা যা গোপন কর এবং যা প্রকাশ কর, ত আমি খুব জানি। তোমাদের মধ্যে যে এটা করে, সে সরলপথ থেকে বিচ্যুত হয়ে যায়।
O ye who believe! Take not my enemies and yours as friends (or protectors),- offering them (your) love, even though they have rejected the Truth that has come to you, and have (on the contrary) driven out the Prophet and yourselves (from your homes), (simply) because ye believe in Allah your Lord! If ye have come out to strive in My Way and to seek My Good Pleasure, (take them not as friends), holding secret converse of love (and friendship) with them: for I know full well all that ye conceal and all that ye reveal. And any of you that does this has strayed from the Straight Path.		 (আল মুমতাহিনা:
আয়াতঃ ১)
137 আল্লাহ তাদেরকে ভালবাসেন, যারা তাঁর পথে সারিবদ্ধভাবে লড়াই করে, যেন তারা সীসাগালানো প্রাচীর।
Truly Allah loves those who fight in His Cause in battle array, as if they were a solid cemented structure.		 (আছ-ছফ:
আয়াতঃ ৪)
138 তা এই যে, তোমরা আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূলের প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করবে এবং আল্লাহর পথে নিজেদের ধন-সম্পদ ও জীবনপণ করে জেহাদ করবে। এটাই তোমাদের জন্যে উত্তম; যদি তোমরা বোঝ।
That ye believe in Allah and His Messenger, and that ye strive (your utmost) in the Cause of Allah, with your property and your persons: That will be best for you, if ye but knew!		 (আছ-ছফ:
আয়াতঃ ১১)
139 মুমিনগণ, তোমরা আল্লাহর সাহায্যকারী হয়ে যাও, যেমন ঈসা ইবনে-মরিয়ম তার শিষ্যবর্গকে বলেছিল, আল্লাহর পথে কে আমার সাহায্যকারী হবে? শিষ্যবর্গ বলেছিলঃ আমরা আল্লাহর পথে সাহায্যকারী। অতঃপর বনী-ইসরাঈলের একদল বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করল এবং একদল কাফের হয়ে গেল। যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছিল, আমি তাদেরকে তাদের শত্রুদের মোকাবেলায় শক্তি যোগালাম, ফলে তারা বিজয়ী হল।
O ye who believe! Be ye helpers of Allah: As said Jesus the son of Mary to the Disciples, "Who will be my helpers to (the work of) Allah?" Said the disciples, "We are Allah's helpers!" then a portion of the Children of Israel believed, and a portion disbelieved: But We gave power to those who believed, against their enemies, and they became the ones that prevailed.		 (আছ-ছফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৪)
140 তারা তাদের শপথসমূহকে ঢালরূপে ব্যবহার করে। অতঃপর তারা আল্লাহর পথে বাধা সৃষ্টি করে। তারা যা করছে, তা খুবই মন্দ।
They have made their oaths a screen (for their misdeeds): thus they obstruct (men) from the Path of Allah: truly evil are their deeds.		 (মুনাফিকুন:
আয়াতঃ ২)
141 যে ব্যক্তি উপুড় হয়ে মুখে ভর দিয়ে চলে, সে-ই কি সৎ পথে চলে, না সে ব্যক্তি যে সোজা হয়ে সরলপথে চলে?
Is then one who walks headlong, with his face grovelling, better guided,- or one who walks evenly on a Straight Way?		 (আল মুলক:
আয়াতঃ ২২)
142 যাতে তোমরা চলাফেরা কর প্রশস্ত পথে।
"'That ye may go about therein, in spacious roads.'"		 (নূহ:
আয়াতঃ ২০)
143 আমাদের কেউ কেউ সৎকর্মপরায়ণ এবং কেউ কেউ এরূপ নয়। আমরা ছিলাম বিভিন্ন পথে বিভক্ত।
'There are among us some that are righteous, and some the contrary: we follow divergent paths.		 (আল জিন:
আয়াতঃ ১১)
144 আমরা যখন সুপথের নির্দেশ শুনলাম, তখন তাতে বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করলাম। অতএব, যে তার পালনকর্তার প্রতি বিশ্বাস করে, সে লোকসান ও জোর-জবরের আশংকা করে না।
'And as for us, since we have listened to the Guidance, we have accepted it: and any who believes in his Lord has no fear, either of a short (account) or of any injustice.		 (আল জিন:
আয়াতঃ ১৩)
145 আর এই প্রত্যাদেশ করা হয়েছে যে, তারা যদি সত্যপথে কায়েম থাকত, তবে আমি তাদেরকে প্রচুর পানি বর্ষণে সিক্ত করতাম।
(And Allah's Message is): "If they (the Pagans) had (only) remained on the (right) Way, We should certainly have bestowed on them Rain in abundance.		 (আল জিন:
আয়াতঃ ১৬)
146 বলুনঃ আমি তোমাদের ক্ষতি সাধন করার ও সুপথে আনয়ন করার মালিক নই।
Say: "It is not in my power to cause you harm, or to bring you to right conduct."		 (আল জিন:
আয়াতঃ ২১)
147 আপনার পালনকর্তা জানেন, আপনি এবাদতের জন্যে দন্ডায়মান হন রাত্রির প্রায় দু’তৃতীয়াংশ, অর্ধাংশ ও তৃতীয়াংশ এবং আপনার সঙ্গীদের একটি দলও দন্ডায়মান হয়। আল্লাহ দিবা ও রাত্রি পরিমাপ করেন। তিনি জানেন, তোমরা এর পূর্ণ হিসাব রাখতে পার না। অতএব তিনি তোমাদের প্রতি ক্ষমা পরায়ন হয়েছেন। কাজেই কোরআনের যতটুকু তোমাদের জন্যে সহজ, ততটুকু আবৃত্তি কর। তিনি জানেন তোমাদের মধ্যে কেউ কেউ অসুস্থ হবে, কেউ কেউ আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ সন্ধানে দেশে-বিদেশে যাবে এবং কেউ কেউ আল্লাহর পথে জেহাদে লিপ্ত হবে। কাজেই কোরআনের যতটুকু তোমাদের জন্যে সহজ ততটুকু আবৃত্তি কর। তোমরা নামায কায়েম কর, যাকাত দাও এবং আল্লাহকে উত্তম ঋণ দাও। তোমরা নিজেদের জন্যে যা কিছু অগ্রে পাঠাবে, তা আল্লাহর কাছে উত্তম আকারে এবং পুরস্কার হিসেবে বর্ধিতরূপে পাবে। তোমরা আল্লাহর কাছে ক্ষমাপ্রার্থনা কর। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ ক্ষমাশীল, দয়ালু।
Thy Lord doth know that thou standest forth (to prayer) nigh two-thirds of the night, or half the night, or a third of the night, and so doth a party of those with thee. But Allah doth appoint night and day in due measure He knoweth that ye are unable to keep count thereof. So He hath turned to you (in mercy): read ye, therefore, of the Qur'an as much as may be easy for you. He knoweth that there may be (some) among you in ill-health; others travelling through the land, seeking of Allah's bounty; yet others fighting in Allah's Cause, read ye, therefore, as much of the Qur'an as may be easy (for you); and establish regular Prayer and give regular Charity; and loan to Allah a Beautiful Loan. And whatever good ye send forth for your souls ye shall find it in Allah's Presence,- yea, better and greater, in Reward and seek ye the Grace of Allah: for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. 148 আমি জাহান্নামের তত্ত্বাবধায়ক ফেরেশতাই রেখেছি। আমি কাফেরদেরকে পরীক্ষা করার জন্যেই তার এই সংখ্যা করেছি-যাতে কিতাবীরা দৃঢ়বিশ্বাসী হয়, মুমিনদের ঈমান বৃদ্ধি পায় এবং কিতাবীরা ও মুমিনগণ সন্দেহ পোষণ না করে এবং যাতে যাদের অন্তরে রোগ আছে, তারা এবং কাফেররা বলে যে, আল্লাহ এর দ্বারা কি বোঝাতে চেয়েছেন। এমনিভাবে আল্লাহ যাকে ইচ্ছা পথভ্রষ্ট করেন এবং যাকে ইচ্ছা সৎপথে চালান। আপনার পালনকর্তার বাহিনী সম্পর্কে একমাত্র তিনিই জানেন এটা তো মানুষের জন্যে উপদেশ বৈ নয়।
And We have set none but angels as Guardians of the Fire; and We have fixed their number only as a trial for Unbelievers,- in order that the People of the Book may arrive at certainty, and the Believers may increase in Faith,- and that no doubts may be left for the People of the Book and the Believers, and that those in whose hearts is a disease and the Unbelievers may say, "What symbol doth Allah intend by this?" Thus doth Allah leave to stray whom He pleaseth, and guide whom He pleaseth: and none can know the forces of thy Lord, except He and this is no other than a warning to mankind.		 (আল মুদ্দাসসির:
