তুমি কি ওদের দেখনি, যারা কিতাবের কিছু অংশ প্রাপ্ত হয়েছে, (অথচ) তারা পথভ্রষ্টতা খরিদ করে এবং কামনা করে, যাতে তোমরাও আল্লাহর পথ থেকে বিভ্রান্ত হয়ে যাও।
Hast thou not turned Thy vision to those who were given a portion of the Book? they traffic in error, and wish that ye should lose the right path. |

একদলকে পথ প্রদর্শন করেছেন এবং একদলের জন্যে পথভ্রষ্টতা অবধারিত হয়ে গেছে। তারা আল্লাহকে ছেড়ে শয়তানদেরকে বন্ধু হিসাবে গ্রহণ করেছে এবং ধারণা করে যে, তারা সৎপথে রয়েছে।
Some He hath guided: Others have (by their choice) deserved the loss of their way; in that they took the evil ones, in preference to Allah, for their friends and protectors, and think that they receive guidance. |

তার সম্প্রদায়ের সর্দাররা বললঃ আমরা তোমাকে প্রকাশ্য পথভ্রষ্টতার মাঝে দেখতে পাচ্ছি।
The leaders of his people said: "Ah! we see thee evidently wandering (in mind)." |
(আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৬০) |

সত্যের আহবান একমাত্র তাঁরই এবং তাকে ছাড়া যাদেরকে ডাকে, তারা তাদের কোন কাজে আসে না; ওদের দৃষ্টান্ত সেরূপ, যেমন কেউ দু’ হাত পানির দিকে প্রসারিত করে যাতে পানি তার মুখে পৌঁছে যায়। অথচ পানি কোন সময় পৌঁছাবে না। কাফেরদের যত আহবান তার সবই পথভ্রষ্টতা।
For Him (alone) is prayer in Truth: any others that they call upon besides Him hear them no more than if they were to stretch forth their hands for water to reach their mouths but it reaches them not: for the prayer of those without Faith is nothing but (futile) wandering (in the mind). |

যারা স্বীয় পালনকর্তার সত্তার অবিশ্বাসী তাদের অবস্থা এই যে, তাদের কর্মসমূহ ছাইভস্মের মত যার উপর দিয়ে প্রবল বাতাস বয়ে যায় ধূলিঝড়ের দিন। তাদের উপার্জনের কোন অংশই তাদের করতলগত হবে না। এটাই দুরবর্তী পথভ্রষ্টতা।
The parable of those who reject their Lord is that their works are as ashes, on which the wind blows furiously on a tempestuous day: No power have they over aught that they have earned: that is the straying far, far (from the goal). |

অতঃপর তাদের পরে এল অপদার্থ পরবর্তীরা। তারা নামায নষ্ট করল এবং কুপ্রবৃত্তির অনুবর্তী হল। সুতরাং তারা অচিরেই পথভ্রষ্টতা প্রত্যক্ষ করবে।
But after them there followed a posterity who missed prayers and followed after lusts soon, then, will they face Destruction,- |

বলুন, যারা পথভ্রষ্টতায় আছে, দয়াময় আল্লাহ তাদেরকে যথেষ্ট অবকাশ দেবেন; এমনকি অবশেষে তারা প্রত্যক্ষ করবে যে বিষয়ে তাদেরকে ওয়াদা দেয়া হচ্ছে, তা আযাব হোক অথবা কেয়ামতই হোক। সুতরাং তখন তারা জানতে পারবে কে মর্তবায় নিকৃষ্ট ও দলবলে দূর্বল।
Say: "If any men go astray, (Allah) Most Gracious extends (the rope) to them, until, when they see the warning of Allah (being fulfilled) - either in punishment or in (the approach of) the Hour,- they will at length realise who is worst in position, and (who) weakest in forces! |
(মারইয়াম:
আয়াতঃ ৭৫) |

সে আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে এমন কিছুকে ডাকে, যে তার অপকার করতে পারে না এবং উপকারও করতে পারে না। এটাই চরম পথভ্রষ্টতা।
They call on such deities, besides Allah, as can neither hurt nor profit them: that is straying far indeed (from the Way)! |

আয়াতঃ ১২) |

আপনি অন্ধদেরকে তাদের পথভ্রষ্টতা থেকে ফিরিয়ে সৎপথে আনতে পারবেন না। আপনি কেবল তাদেরকে শোনাতে পারবেন, যারা আমার আয়াতসমূহে বিশ্বাস করে। অতএব, তারাই আজ্ঞাবহ।
Nor canst thou be a guide to the blind, (to prevent them) from straying: only those wilt thou get to listen who believe in Our Signs, and they will bow in Islam. |

আয়াতঃ ৮১) |

আপনি অন্ধদেরও তাদের পথভ্রষ্টতা থেকে পথ দেখাতে পারবেন না। আপনি কেবল তাদেরই শোনাতে পারবেন, যারা আমার আয়াতসমূহে বিশ্বাস করে। কারন তারা মুসলমান।
Nor canst thou lead back the blind from their straying: only those wilt thou make to hear, who believe in Our signs and submit (their wills in Islam). |

আয়াতঃ ৫৩) |

এটা আল্লাহর সৃষ্টি; অতঃপর তিনি ব্যতীত অন্যেরা যা সৃষ্টি করেছে, তা আমাকে দেখাও। বরং জালেমরা সুস্পষ্ট পথভ্রষ্টতায় পতিত আছে।
Such is the Creation of Allah: now show Me what is there that others besides Him have created: nay, but the Transgressors are in manifest error. |

সে আল্লাহ সম্পর্কে মিথ্যা বলে, না হয় সে উম্মাদ এবং যারা পরকালে অবিশ্বাসী, তারা আযাবে ও ঘোর পথভ্রষ্টতায় পতিত আছে।
"Has he invented a falsehood against Allah, or has a spirit (seized) him?"- Nay, it is those who believe not in the Hereafter, that are in (real) Penalty, and in farthest error. |

এরূপ করলে আমি প্রকাশ্য পথভ্রষ্টতায় পতিত হব।
"I would indeed, if I were to do so, be in manifest Error. |

আয়াতঃ ২৪) |

আর যে ব্যক্তি আল্লাহর দিকে আহবানকারীর কথা মানবে না, সে পৃথিবীতে আল্লাহকে অপারক করতে পারবে না এবং আল্লাহ ব্যতীত তার কোন সাহায্যকারী থাকবে না। এ ধরনের লোকই প্রকাশ্য পথভ্রষ্টতায় লিপ্ত।
"If any does not hearken to the one who invites (us) to Allah, he cannot frustrate (Allah's Plan) on earth, and no protectors can he have besides Allah: such men (wander) in manifest error." |
(আল আহক্বাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৩২) |

তিনিই নিরক্ষরদের মধ্য থেকে একজন রসূল প্রেরণ করেছেন, যিনি তাদের কাছে পাঠ করেন তার আয়াতসমূহ, তাদেরকে পবিত্র করেন এবং শিক্ষা দেন কিতাব ও হিকমত। ইতিপূর্বে তারা ছিল ঘোর পথভ্রষ্টতায় লিপ্ত।
It is He Who has sent amongst the Unlettered a messenger from among themselves, to rehearse to them His Signs, to sanctify them, and to instruct them in Scripture and Wisdom,- although they had been, before, in manifest error;- |

অথচ তারা অনেককে পথভ্রষ্ট করেছে। অতএব আপনি জালেমদের পথভ্রষ্টতাই বাড়িয়ে দিন।
"They have already misled many; and grant Thou no increase to the wrong-doers but in straying (from their mark)." |
(নূহ:
আয়াতঃ ২৪) |
